available now on the App Store and Google Play. Just
follow the link in this show's notes. Let's create the
life you deserve. Believe in yourself before you experience a

(01:58):
deep transformation of this power process. It's important for you
to be aware of the nature of guided your gnitra
meditation and how through this time your unconscious resources and
insights and guide you to accept and integrate all the
suggestions in this meditation that are right for you, automatically,

(02:24):
in the right timing, and always for your maximum benefit.
You see, people notice those benefits in different ways. So
I don't know how you'll find yourself releasing the shackles
of shyness and embracing a more sociable, gregarious life, but

(02:46):
you do, and that's what's important. Through the course of
our time together, you might feel like drifting and daydreaming,
but you'll continue to hear everything I say. It's like
this whole time you've been listening, your unconscious has been

(03:07):
receiving the touch signals along your skin and beating your
heart and thinking your thoughts and breathing your lungs automatically,
which means you can easily drift and daydream and listen
to my voice guiding you towards your authentic social life

(03:33):
and away from old silly shyness. See. In reality, this
deep meditative state is natural and you're drifting into deep
meditation every time you lay your head down and relax

(03:54):
to go to sleep, which means everyone knows how to
experience deep meditation, just like you're choosing to now. Now.
It is true that your unconscious processing style is uniquely yours,

(04:17):
so I have included guided suggestions that appeal to the
full variety of natural learning strategies. So you're going to
feel a wide range of wonderful sensations and positive emotions.
Some may be calming and serene, or refreshing and revitalizing,

(04:39):
or pleasant and euphoric, or you can choose to feel
all of these sensations and emotions at the same time,
because you're in meditation now. As we drift even deeper,
the most important concept to remember is a power of repetition.

(05:05):
Your brain creates transformation more powerfully and more easily and
more automatically every time you're repeatedly relaxing your body and
breathing deeply and listening to this program and focusing on

(05:26):
the sound of my voice, the sounds behind my voice,
and thinking these positive thoughts you're thinking, which means you
can trust it. You're unconscious. The most powerful part of
your mind already knows what to do, So go ahead

(05:49):
and make sure you're in a comfortable position, your spine
is straight to allow the energy to move through your body,
and just go ahead and allow your eyes to close.
Setting aside the next twenty minutes or so, with no

(06:10):
cell phones, no to do list, no obligations, no distractions,
no interruptions. This is your time. Your choosing to create
this time and space of freedom from shyness automatically allows
you to receive powerful benefits from that part of you

(06:33):
that already knows that it knows. Your subconscious already knows
exactly what is most rewarding, most enjoyable for you to
experience fully embracing the self ownership and strength this transformation provides.
As you take three nice deep breaths, exhaling slowly, that's right.

(07:01):
And as you continue breathing naturally deeply, in your own mind,
in your own voice, just silently say to yourself, I
give myself permission to relax totally and completely. And as

(07:26):
you continue to relax, you can notice the sounds outside
the room, those distant sounds that just seem to drift
in the air, no labels or recognition, just noticing the
sounds drifting in the air as if hearing them for

(07:51):
the very first time, and then noticing the sounds inside
the room, those gentle sounds drifting around you. No need
to try and recognize them, just let them drift in

(08:13):
the air all around you, almost as if you can
watch the sounds floating in the air as you continue
to drift deeper and deeper within yourself. And you can

(08:39):
take my voice with you as you continue to relax
or comfort you, ease you, as you continue to drift
deeper and deeper, noticing any fragrances around you, some distance,

(09:02):
some close, those beautiful fragrances that dance so gracefully. No
need to wonder what they are, Just enjoy the fragrances
drifting on the air. Now. I don't know how you'll

(09:25):
find yourself releasing any thoughts or feelings of shyness and
embracing social opportunities as a positive experience, but you do,
and that's what's most important. So as you continue to relax,

(09:46):
you can repeat the words silently in your mind as
they are spoken. Everyone desires connection, and all people have
need similar to mine. I am much in common with
other people in social situations As I begin listening and talking,

(10:11):
I relax and enjoy myself. I'm a good listener and
find myself interested in other people and what they have
to say. I'm curious about others and want to hear
their stories. I'm willing to reach out to others and

(10:35):
break the ice to form new connections. I don't mind
making small talk about simple things we all have in common.
I can talk easily about myself and the things I
know and care about. I naturally gravitate to those whose

(11:00):
company I enjoy, and they to me. I challenge myself
to expand my circle of friends and meet new people.
I take small steps to go beyond my comfort zone
because it makes me feel fully alive and free. I

(11:25):
am willing to experiment with new ways of being in
the world to find what suits me best. I'm at
my best when I'm being myself and expressing myself in
a positive way. People like me because I'm genuine, honest,
and care about them. And as you let those words

(11:50):
drift through your mind and body, a constant reminder of
the transformation you can enjoy. You can get a sense
of the beginning of a new energy. May be small
at first, as it begins to grow right there in

(12:13):
the thumb on your right hand, that energy slowly moving
through your fingers up through your hand, your wrist, up
through your elbow, your shoulder, all the way down the
right hand side, through your pelvis, your leg, and even

(12:39):
down into your right foot. And you can notice that
energy now in the thumb on your left hand, that
energy slowly moving through your fingers, your hand, up through
your arm on your side, and even into your leg

(13:04):
and down into your left foot, into the toes on
your left foot. And notice now that gentle energy and
the rifting through your forehead, and you can tell it
to relax and let go, moving through the muscles around

(13:30):
your eyes, just relaxing, letting go those bundles of nerves
behind your eyes, relaxing. And notice how those nerves go
all the way into the center of your mind. That

(13:56):
relaxation moving down through the muscles around your ears, the
muscles inside your ears, That relaxation you have created, gently
cascading down through the muscles around your mouth, drifting open

(14:20):
just slightly, your jaw relaxing, resting, that relaxation drifting across
your chest, down through your stomach and even into your legs.

(14:41):
That relaxation, that new energy drifting through your whole body. Then,
just for a moment, focus on your breathing, the gentle
rise and full of your chest, and allow yourself to
take a deeper breath, all the way in and holding

(15:06):
it for a moment and let it go with a sigh,
releasing any remaining tensional stress. Notice the beating of your heart,
the pulsing in your veins, the natural rhythm of your body.

(15:27):
As you allow yourself to become more and more absorbed
in the life the energy of your body, you can
notice words. Notice noticing words, and you can notice your
body can relax, and your mind can relax, and your

(15:52):
breathing carries on all by itself. Your mind carries on
thinking all by it. You can just watch it wander away,
your experience, your understanding, your awareness can just detach and

(16:14):
slow down, and my voice can be soothing, can comfort
you and ease your mind. I'd like you to notice
where you feel most relaxed, most are ease, and just

(16:35):
get a sense of that feeling of relaxation moving to
the center of your chest. You can know as those
feelings of relaxation move into your chest, you can begin
to connect deeply within, find peace, receive guidance, and it's

(17:03):
the ideal place for you to be right now. Now.
I wonder if you can imagine you're standing in front
of a doorway, and you can know that when you
walk through that doorway, you'll find yourself in a cozy

(17:24):
restaurant at lunch time, at a table for two. So
go ahead and step through that door, and there, as
you sit down at the table with someone you recently met,
you can find you're very comfortable here. Your breathing is calm,

(17:48):
and you feel your feet on the ground and you're
back against the chair. The sights and sounds of the
restaurant just fade into the background as you focus on
the face of your companion. And what you might notice

(18:12):
most is that you're interested and engaged in what they're saying,
just listening, hearing the sound of their voice, the meaning
of their words as it registers in your heart. You

(18:32):
can feel something as they speak. Perhaps it's a feeling
of connection, the sense that you've had similar experiences, and
even if you come from different backgrounds, the two of
you are joining together here over lunch in a very

(18:58):
natural way. Your companion asks you something about yourself and
you can feel their interest. It feels easy and natural
to answer and talk about yourself, the things you care about,

(19:19):
what you do in life, and what has meaning for you.
And it feels good to have someone interested in you.
And after you've answered their question and you've talked a
little about yourself, you think of something to ask them,

(19:42):
and again find yourself interested in what they have to say.
Take a moment to imagine this interaction. Now, listen, watch
and feel it unfold. And now the scene changes, and

(20:04):
now you're at a small gathering, perhaps an informal dinner,
with just a few people, and you know one or
two of them a little. Again, Notice that you're very
comfortable here. Your breathing is calm, you can feel your

(20:26):
feet on the ground, The conversation is easy and relaxed,
and it's okay. I more than one conversation is going
on at once, and it's okay if the room is
quiet for a bit. Some one asks what you do
for a living, and you start to talk a little

(20:50):
bit about you and how you spend your time, and
you ask about them in return. Take a moment to
imagine this interaction. Listen and watch it unfold as you

(21:11):
check comfortably with one person and then another, curious to
know about them and happy to talk about yourself. The
scene changes once more, and this time you are at
a large gathering of people. Perhaps it's a party or

(21:32):
a business networking event. There are more people than you
could connect within one evening, and they seem to be
concentrated in small groups of two or more, with some
individuals standing alone. Looking around, you see someone near you
by themselves, and without hesitation, you immediately go up to

(21:57):
them and introduce yourself. It's easy to look at them,
extend your hand and tell them your name, and they
in turn tell you theirs. You begin talking about the
event and how you came to be there, and they

(22:17):
reply in kind. This small talk is unnatural way of
getting comfortable with each other, of hearing someone's voice and
getting a feel of their personality. All it takes is
a little effort, and you can break the ice and

(22:39):
connect with another person in this way. So take a
moment now to imagine yourself doing something similar with a
number of different people at this gathering, getting to know
a little about each one by making small talk. Now,

(23:03):
imagine that you've begun talking with someone at the gathering
with whom you feel a kinship and rapport, and the
conversation has naturally extended into deeper things. Perhaps you're talking
more about your job or your family, and that person
opens up to you as well. And as you take

(23:26):
turns speaking to each other. You've spoken to many people here,
but now most of the room seems to fade into
the background as you concentrate on the conversation at hand.
Take a moment to feel this connection, watch and listen
as the conversation unfolds. Consider one thing you can do

(23:52):
as the next step toward reaching out to others. It
might be calling someone you'd like to know better or
asking them to have a coffee with you, or going
to an open social or business gathering. Or it might
be initiating a conversation with someone you know you'll be

(24:13):
running into over the next day or two. Or perhaps
you could look up social interest groups in your area
and pick one to attend. Decide on one thing you'll do,
and take a moment to imagine yourself doing that. Now,
thank yourself for giving yourself the opportunity of the gift

(24:37):
of new beginnings, and so before you allow yourself to
drift up completely into conscious wakeful alertness, or maybe you
might choose to drift into sleep to let the lessons

(24:58):
communicated a des level. It may be useful for you
to utilize the opportunity now to think about what you've experienced,
the thoughts, images, understandings, and how you might use these
things later on, from one day to the next, because

(25:21):
you have an unconscious mind and you have a conscious mind,
and those two minds can learn from your experiences here
today some things that you can utilize to deal more
effectively with those things that have been challenges for you before.

(25:42):
So as you continue to relax, you can see your
own hand moving across the page as it writes the
words I am learning to accept that people are genuinely

(26:04):
interested in me as a person, and I am learning
to be interested in them. And as you finish writing
those words, you can go ahead and see yourself signing

(26:25):
your name in your own golden signature. And so before
you continue to drift up into conscious awareness nor more
wakeful awareness, or maybe let your mind and body drift
in to sleep, it is your privilege to use this

(26:48):
time to become more and more aware of those things
you can use later on. Those learning's abilities and skills
you may have overlooked before to give you a new
view of the possibilities for a new way of thinking
and feeling and doing things. That's right takes some time now,

(27:14):
a brief time that seems to be a long time
to review and plan at some level of awareness. Those
things you'll do later on, Those things you may change
later on as you begin to use more and more review.
So you can use that time now, because in a

(27:37):
few moments from now, when you drift up and awaken,
or maybe let your mind and body drift in to sleep,
it may be interesting for you to know that in
that drifting, relaxed state of mind, my thoughts pass by

(27:57):
like dreams to awareness for a time and drift through
the mind, while some are left behind to be utilized
later on, and others are remembered or seem to be
remembered at first, but then become more and more distant

(28:20):
forgotten over time, and the entire experience can seem so
far away as your unconscious mind protects a conscious mind
and leaves those things behind forgotten but remembered too, and
time changes too, so you can know what a journey

(28:43):
it's been. When you begin to know that what seemed
to take a short time turns out to have been
a long time, or what seemed to be a long
time was really no time at all. Now, whenever you
wish to return to your normal world, you can just

(29:07):
count from one to five as you slowly awaken, or
perhaps you might drift into a deep and relaxing sleep
to let all the messages sink even deeper. As you

(29:28):
have enjoyed this meditation and experienced a deep transformation of
this audio, you can know you can go ahead and
follow this podcast so you don't miss a single step
on your journey to an abundant and authentic life. LAM

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
