Speaker 1 (00:07):
Hi, it's Damien and welcome to another episode from You.
You your source for personal healing, self transformation, and everyday manifestation. Now,
today we're going to be diving into a topic that
resonates with I believe every single person at one point
(00:28):
in time in their lives or another, and that's finding
your ideal job. But I'm not talking about job hunting
in the traditional sense today, I want to explore how
meditation and visualization can be powerful tools to guiding you
towards your dream career. So before we dive into the techniques,
(00:51):
let's address a common issue many people face, and that's
quite simply not knowing what they want before they begin
their job. This lack of clarity can lead to frustration, anxiety,
and a sense of being lost in a sea of possibilities.
And when you don't have a clear vision of what
(01:13):
you want, you might find yourself applying for jobs that
really just do not resonate with you, leading to a
clear cycle of dissatisfaction and frequent job changes. On the
flip side, having a very clear understanding of what you
want to achieve can transform your job prospects dramatically. When
(01:38):
you know what you're aiming for you can tailor your
job search, applications, and interview to align with your goals.
This clarity not only boosts your confidence, but also makes
you more attractive to potential employers who are looking for
candidates with a clear sense of purpose long term and
(01:58):
knowing what you are ideal job is before you start
looking insures that you find a position you will stick with.
Job satisfaction isn't just about the paycheck. It's about finding
a role that aligns with your values, your skills, and
your passions. And when you find that alignment, you're more
(02:19):
likely to thrive, grow, and stay committed to your career path.
But before we get into the meditation and visualization exercises,
there are some practical tips you might want to consider about.
When you think about what job is right for you.
You want to start with some self assessment. Take some
(02:41):
real time to reflect on your strengths, your weaknesses, interest
and our values. Look back on what's happened in the past,
what activities make you lose track of time, what topics
are you passionate about. Understanding these can provide some valuable
insights into the types of jobs that might be a
(03:01):
good fit for you. And take some time to research.
Look into different industries, roles, and companies. Look at things
you've never even really thought about. Challenge your boundaries. Look
at the job descriptions, talk to people in those fields,
read the magazines, read online, look at job reviews. Get
(03:26):
a sense of what various jobs entail. This will help
you narrow down your options and identify roles that genuinely
interest you. One of the things that most people overlook
is their lifestyle. Think about the type of lifestyle you
actually want. Do you prefer a nine to five job
(03:48):
or are you looking for more flexibility. Do you want
to work remotely or do you thrive in an environment
with people around you. Your ideal job should align with
your desired lifestyle and set yourself and goals. Define your
short term and long term career goals. What do you
want to achieve in the next year, the next five years.
(04:11):
Having clear goals will help you stay focused and motivated
during your job search. Now, let's talk about how meditation
and visualization can help you in this journey. Meditation helps
you quiet in the mind, reduce stress, and gain clarity. Visualization,
on the other hand, helps you tap into your subconscious
(04:34):
to create a mental image of your ideal job and
career path and play this through much as if it
was a theater. So after the break, I would like
you to join me on a meditation and visualization exercise
designed to help you connect with your inner self, clarify
your career goals, and visualize your ideal job. By the
(04:56):
end of this session, you'll have a much clearer sense
of what you're looking and feel more confident in your
job search. So before you go into relaxation, just take
a moment to find a comfortable spot somewhere where you
won't be disturbed for the next little while. And if
(05:19):
you haven't already, take a moment to subscribe to this
podcast so you don't miss a single step on your
path to a life of abundance. So as you continue
to relax and let go, you may find it easier
(05:42):
to relax even deeper if you close your eyes. So
whenever you are ready to close your eyes and go
into a deeper level of relaxation, you can just go
ahead and take a nice deep breath and hold it
(06:03):
for a moment, letting it go with a sign letting
go of any tension, any stress. Relaxation spreading from the
top of your head to the tip of your toes.
Every word I say, every breath you take, guiding you
(06:28):
deeper and deeper. And as you continue to relax, you
can notice the sounds outside the room, those distant sounds
that just seem to drift on the air, no labels
or recognition, just noticing the sounds drifting on the air
(06:54):
as if hearing them for the very first time, And
then noticing the sounds inside the room, those sounds drifting
around you. No need to try and label them, just
let them drift in the air, almost as if you
(07:16):
can watch those sounds floating through the air as you
continue to drift deeper and deeper within yourself, noticing the
sound of my voice, the sounds behind my voice. As
(07:37):
you continue to relax, My voice will comfort you, will
ease you, will hold you safe and secure as you
continue to drift deeper and deeper, and you can begin
(07:58):
to notice any fragrance is some distance, some close, those
beautiful fragrances that dance so gracefully. No need to wonder
what they are, just enjoying the fragrances drifting on the air. Now.
(08:22):
I don't know how you'll find yourself realizing the career
of your dreams. But you do, and that's what's most important.
So as you relax, you can repeat the words silently
in your own mind as they are spoken. My ideal
(08:44):
job exists and is waiting for me to connect. In
perfect timing, I am taking the necessary action steps daily
to connect with my perfect job. I am stinging aged
with my job finding process and keeping a positive attitude
for as long as necessary. I am already connected with
(09:08):
my perfect job and am doing my part to help
it manifest in my life. The value I offer and
the need I can feel is drawing my perfect job
and Ie together. Our connection is inevitable. I am letting
others know about my job search so they have the
(09:30):
opportunity to help. People want to help me and make
positive connections on my behalf as needed, I take advantage
of all the available resources for connecting to my perfect
job on a regular basis. I find joy in the journey.
(09:52):
And as you let those words drift through your mind
and body a constant reminder of the transformation, you can joy.
You can get the sense at the beginning of a
new energy, maybe small at first, as it begins to
grow right there in the thumb on your right hand,
(10:18):
that energy slowly moving through your hand, up through your wrists,
your arm, through your shoulder, all the way down your
right side, even down through your leg and into your foot.
(10:39):
And notice it now in the thumb on your left hand,
that energy slowly moving up through your hand, all through
your fingers, up through your elbow, your shoulder, down your
left side, all the way down into the foot on
(10:59):
your left and all the toes on your left foot.
And notice now that gentle energy moving across your head.
Notice the muscles on your forehead album to relax, release
(11:21):
pep curls. Notice the muscles around your eyes, relaxing, letting
go all the nerves behind your eyes, Noticing how those
nerves go all the way into the center of your mind.
(11:48):
This relaxation you have created, drifting down through the muscles
around your ears, the muscles inside your ears, and all
those little muscles around your mouth, Your jaw relaxing, drifting open, resting,
(12:15):
that relaxation, drifting across your chest, down through your stomach,
and even into your legs. That relaxation, that new energy
drifting through your whole body. Now, just for a moment,
(12:39):
notice your breathing a gentle rise and full of your chest,
and just allow yourself to take a deeper breath all
the way in and hold it for a moment and
let it go with a sigh, like you're sat after
(13:04):
a long, hard day, just letting all the stress go.
Notice the beating of your heart, the pulsing of the
blood through your veins, the natural rhythm of your body
as you allow yourself to become more and more absorbed
(13:31):
in the life, the energy of your body. You can
notice words. Notice noticing words. You can notice your body
can relax as your mind relaxes. Your breathing carries on
(13:51):
or by itself. Your mind carries on thinking or by itself,
and you can just watch it wander away. Your experience,
your understanding, your awareness can just attach and slow down.
(14:15):
That my voice can be soothing, can comfort you and
ease your mind as my voice goes with you as
you continue to drift deeper and deeper within yourself. I
(14:37):
wonder if you can imagine you can sleeping in a
deep sound sleep for many hours and you're just beginning
to stir awake from the first thing you notice is
it you're waking on a soft campside air mattress high
(15:00):
up on a mountaintop. It's a clear night, and the
sky is filled with more stars than you've ever seen before,
a truly breath taking for you. You've been dreaming about
the next step in your career, and it occurs to
(15:24):
you that perhaps those millions upon millions of stars, each
one before you symbolizes a job for someone on this planet.
There are so many it would seem impossible to know
which one might be right for you, and even more
(15:47):
difficult to connect with any as they appear are so distant,
and so faced with that thought, you find yourself getting
up from your curve bed and lighting your campfire for
the comfort and the warmth it offers. Settling back down
(16:10):
to rest again, you look back at the stars and
you can see now that they're a far view. In fact,
as you continue to watch the sky, all disappear but
just a handful of the brightest and the clearest, And
(16:31):
as you begin to drift back off to sleep, you
imagine that if those were your potential jobs now, it
would be much easier to choose the right one, And
falling into a dream, you imagine your campfire has sent
(16:52):
out a beam of light all the way into the heavens,
branching out each of those big right stars. And when
morning comes, you stir awake and consider your dream. With
(17:12):
the beam of light from your campfire to the stars,
you symbolically connected to your ideal job prospects. Now it
won't be hard to recognize those jobs when you see
them out in the world. You'll know them intuitively because
(17:33):
you've already visited them in a dream state. Now it
is just a matter of bringing them into view in life.
So let's work on that next. Consider the people you know, family, friends,
and professional connections for the time being, excluding any social media.
(18:00):
Later on you'll have the opportunity to write them all down,
but for now, simply bring the people to mind. Imagine
them gathering together into one group in front of you,
as if you're on the stage in a small theater
and they make up the audience. Perhaps you have some
(18:23):
friends you've not spoken to him quite some time and
would like to visit again. Put them in the audience too.
Take a moment to visualize a theater filling up, and
imagine everyone there is glad to see you and happy
(18:45):
to help you in any way they can. Now, consider
that everyone in your audience probably knows about as many
people as you do, so imagine all of them has
also invited their friends, and since word about your meeting
has spread quickly many times, a number of people are
(19:10):
now pouring in. In fact, you're going to need a
much bigger auditorium now, so imagine it expanding in, filling
with more and more people, all of whom are interested
in receiving a message from you. Imagine that you walk
out on that stage and begin to talk to your audience,
(19:31):
telling them about the job you're looking for. Be sure
to pent all those details, the kind of place you
want to work, what you want to do, the hours,
everything you can think of about this job. Someone in
your audience knows about the kind of job you want,
(19:51):
and it's often the smallest thing that triggers a person's memory.
So take the time to describe your ideal job now
and envisage the word setting off lights in the minds
of your audience. Now, allow that seemed to fade, and
imagine yourself out in the world, reaching out to everyone
(20:14):
you know personally, letting them know about your job search,
and asking them to inquire among their connections on your behalf.
Imagine your request being well received, word about you is
going out, and connections to your potential jobs are being
easily made. Take a moment to envisage yourself taking steps
(20:39):
to connect with each person in your network and watch
the positive results flooding back in. Now, what envisis your
job search from another angle. Consider the kinds of employers
you'd like to work for, and imagine yourself doing a
(21:02):
search for all the employers that fit your criteria, making
a list and narrowing it down to the handful that
suits you best. Imagine yourself taking steps to find out
everything you can about those five employers. You're learning about
their history, their focus, the character and personality of their work,
(21:26):
and all you can about the people that work there.
You're even researching whether you might have a first, second,
or third hand connection with any of the people already
at that employer who might have a lead into the business.
So take a moment now to imagine yourself doing this
(21:46):
research and making valuable discoveries and connections the kind that
may lead you to your ideal job. Take a few
moments to envisage yourself embracing this task, enjoying the process,
and discovering connections to your ideal job. Your ideal job
(22:10):
may be right around the corner, or it may be
waiting for you farther down the road. It's important for
you to stay positive, engaged in your job search, and
avoid discouragement for as long as it takes to reach
your goal. Envision yourself staying connected with your future job
(22:31):
and taking the action steps necessary daily and into the future,
sending your future self the encouragement you need to keep going.
And so before you allow yourself to drift up completely
(22:54):
into conscious wakeful alearnness, or maybe you might choose to
drift into sleep to let the lessons communicate at a
deeper level, it might be useful for you to utilize
the opportunity now to think about what you've experienced, the thoughts, images, understandings,
(23:17):
and how you might use these things later on from
one day to the next, because you have a conscious
mind and you have an unconscious mind, and those two
minds can learn from your experiences here today some things
you can utilize to deal more effectively with those things
(23:37):
that have been challenges year before. So before you continue
to drift up into conscious awareness, normal wakeful awareness, or
maybe let your mind and body drift into sleep. It
is your privilege to use this time to become more
(24:00):
aware of those things you can use later on, those
learning's abilities and skills you may have overlooked before, to
give you a new view of the possibilities for a
new way of thinking and feeling and doing things. That's
right takes some time now, a brief time that seems
(24:21):
to be a long time to review and plan that
some level of awareness those things you'll do later on,
Those things you may change later on as you begin
to use more more review. You can use that time
now because in a few moments from now, when you
(24:44):
drift up and awaken, or maybe let your mind and
body drift into sleep, it might be interesting for you
to know that in that drifting, relaxed state of mind,
where thoughts drift by light, dreams that tend to awareness
for a time and drift through the mind, while some
(25:07):
are left behind to be utilized later on, and the
others are remembered or seem to be remembered at first,
but then become more and more distant, forgotten over time,
and the entire experience can seem so far away as
(25:28):
your unconscious mind protects the conscious mind and leaves those
things behind, forgotten but remembered too, and time changes too,
so you can know what to transformation it's been when
you begin to know that what seemed to take a
short time turns out to have been a long time,
(25:51):
and what seemed to have been a long time was
really no time at all. So for now, whenever you
wish to return to your normal world, you can just
count from one to five and let yourself awaken. Or
perhaps you might drift into a deep and relaxing sleep
(26:14):
to let all the messages sink even deeper.
