Speaker 1 (00:11):
I is Damien. I'm welcome to another episode from you.
You your source for personal healing, self transformation, and every
day manifestation. Now today I want to take you into
a topic that really deeply resonates with a lot of
clients I deal with. It's about finding in a peace
(00:34):
and in this modern chaotic world, it's a rare commodity.
So just for a moment, imagine this. Imagine you're overwhelmed
with a never ending to do list. It just seems
to grow and grow. Deadlines are looming, and your phone
just keeps buzzing with notification. Your mind is racing, and
(00:57):
anxiety seems to be your constant companion and sound familiar.
This is a reality for many of us. In a
world where we're constantly connected, over stimulated, and pressured to perform,
it is easy to feel like we're drowning in the stress.
The problem isn't just the external demands on our time
(01:20):
and energy, but the inerturbuance that they create. Without realizing it,
we lose touch with our inner calm and our lives
become a constant chase of something, whether it's success, validation,
or simply just getting through the day. All at the
expense of our well being. This relentless pace can leave
(01:45):
us feeling fragmented, exhausted, and disconnected from ourselves. We find
ourselves reacting impulsively, driven by fear or frustration, rather than
responding thoughtfully to life's challenges. We might feel like we're
on a hamster will, running faster and faster, yet never
(02:06):
really getting anywhere that feels meaningful or for fling. So
what's a solution. The answer lies not in doing more
or achieving more, but in cultivating in a piece. In
a piece is a state of being where you feel grounded, centered,
and connected to yourself, regardless of what's happening around you.
(02:29):
It's about finding calm in the middle of chaos, clarity
in the middle of confusion, and strength in the middle
of struggle. In a piece doesn't mean that life stops
being challenging. It means that you develop the resilience and
perspective to navigate through those challenges without losing your sense
(02:53):
of self. The benefits of in a piece are truly profound.
When you cultivate in a piece, you experience less stress
and anxiety, and your mind becomes clearer and more focused.
You're able to approach situations with greater calmness, making better decisions,
and fostering healthier relationships in a piece, also enhances your
(03:17):
physical health by reducing the harmful effects of chronic stress,
such as high blood pressure and weakened immunity. But perhaps
most importantly, inner peace allows you to live a more
authentic and fulfilling life. It enables you to connect with
your true values and passions rather than being swept along
(03:40):
by external pressures and expectations. So how do we embrace
inner peace in our everyday lives. Some practical things you
can do mindful breathing. Take a few moments every day
to focus on your breath in hell deeply through the
nose and hold it for a care to three, and
(04:01):
then exhal slowly back to your mouth again to a
counter three. This simple practice can help calm your nervous
system and bring your mind back to the present moment.
Enjoy daily meditation. Even if it's just five or ten
minutes of meditation each day, it can have a really
(04:22):
significant impact on your mental and emotional wellbeing. Sit in
a quiet place, close your eyes, just focus on your breath,
or even a positive affirmation practice gratitude, start or end
your day by writing down three things that you're grateful for.
(04:44):
This practice shifts your focus from what's lacking in your
life to what you already have and appreciate, fostering a
sense of contentment and peace. Set boundaries. Learn to say no.
It's two letters practice it. Learn to say no to
(05:05):
the demands that drain your energy or don't align with
your values. Protecting your time and energy is crucial for
maintaining in the piece. Spend some time to connect with nature.
Go outside, whether it's a walk in the park or
just sitting in your garden. Nature has a very grounding
(05:25):
effect that can help you reconnect with yourself in the
world around you. By incorporating these simple practices into your
daily routine, you can begin to cultivate the inner piece
that is so essential for living a balanced and fulfilling life. Remember,
in a piece is not something you find outside yourself.
(05:47):
It's not something you can pick up a book or
just turn over a stone and you will find. It's
something that you cultivate within yourself. It's something that you
breed within yourself. So after the break, I would like
you to join me on the Yoga Nidra meditation to
help you cultivate a sense of in a peace. So
(06:16):
as you continue to relax and let go, you can
know you might find it more relaxing if you close
your eyes whenever you are ready to drift into meditation,
just close those eyes and there as you continue to relax,
(06:42):
noticing the sounds outside the room, those distant sounds that
just seem to drift in the air, no labels or recognition,
just noticing the sounds in the air as if hearing
(07:03):
them for the very first time. And then notice the
sounds inside the room, those sounds drifting around you. No
need to try and label them, just let them drift
(07:26):
in the air all around you, almost as if you
can watch the sounds floating in the air as you
continue to drift deeper and deeper within yourself, noticing the
(07:58):
sound of the voice, the sounds behind my voice. As
you continue to relax, my voice will comfort you. Oh
hear you. Relax you, ease you as you continue to
(08:20):
drift deeper and deeper, to notice any fragrances around you
some distance and close those beautiful fragrances that dance so gracefully.
(08:44):
No need to wonder what they are, just enjoy the
fragrances drifting on the air. No, I don't know how
(09:06):
you'll find yourself cultivating a sensation of inner peace, but
you do, and that's what's most important. So as you relax,
you can repeat the words silently in your mind, just
as they are spoken. I am at peace. Calmness fills
(09:34):
my soul. I breathe in serenity. Peace flows within me.
I let go and relax. My mind is becoming clear.
I choose calm, Peace surrounds me, trusts the process. I
(10:03):
embrace stillness. And as you let those words drift through
your mind and body, a constant reminder of the transformation
you can enjoy. You can get the sense of the
beginning of a new energy, maybe smaller first, as it
(10:25):
begins to grow. Right there in the thumb on your
right hand, that energy slowly moving through your hand up
through your wrist, your arm, your shoulder, down your right side,
(10:46):
down through your leg into the toes on your right foot.
And notice now that energy moving into the thumb on
your left hand, through the fingers on your left hand,
your left forearm, your shoulder, down your left side, through
(11:11):
your hip, your knee, and into the toes on your
left foot. And notice now that gentle energy moving over
your head. The muscles in your forehead, just tell them
to relax, let go. Notice the muscles around your eyes relaxing,
(11:42):
letting go. Notice the bundles of nerves behind your eyes,
just relaxing. Notice how those nerves go all the way
into the center of your mind. Is that relaxation you
(12:04):
have created just down your face? Do the muscles around
your mouth, your jaw relaxing, drifting open, resting, that relaxation
(12:25):
drifting down to your chest, your stomach, and even into
your leg. That new energy drifting to your whole body. Now,
just for a moment, I'd like you to notice your breathing,
(12:47):
a gentle rise in full of your chest, and just
allow yourself to take a deeper breath all the way
in and hold it for a little longer. And now
as you breathe out, letting that breath go with a sigh,
(13:09):
you can notice the beating of your heart, the pulsing
of the blood through your veins, the natural rhythm of
your body. As you allow yourself to become more and
more absorbed in the life, the energy of your body
(13:34):
of you, you can notice words. Notice noticing words. You
can notice, your body can relax, and your mind can relax,
and your breathing carries on or by yourself. Your mind
(13:55):
carries on thinking or by itself, and you can just
watch it wander away. Your experience, your understanding, your awareness
can just attach and slow down. And my voice can
(14:16):
be soothing, can comfort you as it guides you deeper
and deeper within yourself. That's it. As you continue to
drift in the moment, I'm going to quiet and down
(14:39):
in the background. And when I do, you can begin
to find true and honest dinner piece. And when you
find that dinner piece, you can be curious how it
will translate into your everyday life and if you have
(14:59):
a the influence throughout your mind and body. And the
interesting thing about silence is its healing nature, not just
healing physically, but also its ability to heal you mentally
and spiritually. And as I go quiet, it can seem
(15:24):
like you are walking through a door into a room
of nothingness, into a room where the walls absorbed every sound,
preventing any echoes. And in that place of peace, it
can seem like you are a mind floating in space,
(15:47):
just drifting without a body. And as you drift and
dream of wood. With every breath, you can become aware
of ours without hearing them, and be here as a
body whilst you remain there as a mind. And you
(16:11):
know when you sleep and dream you completely and comfortably
separate from physical reality for a while. And the more
silence you experience, the more in the peace you can
discover right now, SA. And so before you allow yourself
(21:12):
to drift up completely into conscious weakeflowness, or maybe you
might choose to drift into a sleep to learn the
lessons communicate at a deeper level. It might be useful
for you to utilize the opportunity now to think about
what you've experienced, the thoughts, images and understandings, and how
(21:38):
you might use these things later on from one day
to the next, because you have an unconscious mind and
you have a conscious mind, and those two minds can
learn from your experiences here today some things that you
can utilize to deal more effectively those things that have
(22:01):
been challenges for you before. So as you relax, you
can see your own hand moving across the blank page
as it writes the words I am learning to cultivate
a sense of inner peace. And as you finish writing
(22:23):
the words, you can go ahead and see yourself signing
your name in your own golden signature. And so before
you continue to drift up into conscious awarenes normal wakeful awarenes,
or you might choose to let your mind embody drift
(22:45):
into sleep, it is your privilege to use this time
to become more aware of those things you can use
later on, those learnings, abilities, and skills you may have
overlooked before to give you a new view of the
possibilities for a new way of thinking and feeling and
(23:08):
doing things. That's right takes some time now, a brief
time that seems to be a long time to review
and plan. That's some level of awareness. Those things you
will do later on. Those things you may change later
on as you begin to use more and more review.
(23:41):
You can use that time now because in a few
moments from now, when you drift up and awaken, or
maybe let your mind and body drift into sleep, it
might be interesting for you to know that in that drifting,
relaxed state of mind, my thoughts drift by light, dreams,
(24:03):
the tenter awareness for a time and drift through the mind,
while some are left behind to be utilized later on,
and others are remembered, or seem to be remembered at first,
but then become more and more distant, forgotten over time,
(24:27):
and the entire experience can seem so far away as
your unconscious mind protects the conscious mind and leaves those
scenes behind forgotten but remembered too, and time changes too,
so you can know what a transformation it's been when
you begin to know that what seemed to take a
(24:49):
short time turns out to have been a long time,
or what seemed to have been a long time was
really no time at all. So for now, whenever you
wish to return to your normal world, you can just
count from one to five as you let yourself awaken,
(25:11):
or perhaps you might drift into a deep and relaxing
sleep to let all the messages sink even deeper
