(02:10):
and enjoy the deep transformation of this meditation, just find
a place you won't be disturbed for the next little while.
Take a moment to make yourself comfortable. Now make sure
your spine is straight, as this will allow the energy

(02:31):
to move through your body freely. You can know the
first step to developing a positive approach to yourself and
freeing yourself from the shackles of negative self talk is
when you take a deep breath and hold it for

(02:52):
a moment, letting it go with a sigh, releasing any tension,
any stress, and as you continue to relax, noticing the
sounds outside the room, those distant sounds that just seem

(03:15):
to drift in the air, no labels, no recognition, just
noticing the sounds drifting in the air as if hearing
them for the very first time. And then you can
notice the sounds inside the room, those sounds drifting around you.

(03:43):
No need to try and recognize them, just let them
drift in the air, almost as if you can watch
the sounds floating in the air as you continue to
drift deeper and deeper within yourself, and as you listen

(04:12):
to my words, noticing the sound of my voice, the
sounds behind my voice, and my voice can go with
you as you continue to relax or comfort you, yase you.

(04:33):
As you drift deeper and deeper, you can begin to
notice any fragrances around you, some distance, some close, Those
beautiful fragrances that dance so gracefully. No need to wonder

(05:02):
what they are, just enjoying the fragrances drifting on the air. Now.
I don't know how you'll find yourself, transform me yourself,
transform me yourself talk into a positive and optimistic conversation.

(05:25):
But you do, and that's what's most important. So as
you relax, you can repeat the words silently in your
mind as they are spoken. I am worthy of love, respect,
and kindness, both from others and myself. I embrace my

(05:53):
unique qualities and celebrate my individuality, capable of achieving my
goals and overcoming any obstacles that come my way. I
release all negative self talk and replace it with positive

(06:14):
and empowering thoughts. I trust in my abilities to have
confidence in my decisions. I am deserving of success and
happiness in all areas of my life. I am enough

(06:34):
just as I am, and I don't need to compare
myself to others. I choose to focus on my strengths
and acknowledge my accomplishments. I am resilient and have the
power to bounce back from any setbacks. I am the

(06:58):
author of my own story, and I choose to write
a narrative filled with self love, self acceptance, and self empowerment.
I am worthy of love, respect, and kindness. So as
you continue to relax myself, I want to ask you

(07:20):
a question. You do not need to answer this question
out loud, just thinking about it, processing it in your mind,
deep in your subconscious mind. I was wondering if you

(07:43):
ever talk to yourself in your head most of us
do you know? But how often is that voice an
encouraging one? Often does it say well done? Does it

(08:04):
tell you off? Attack you, en chide you. I wonder
what it is that you will say to yourself, critical
and hurtful, encouraging and loving. Which is it to be?

(08:26):
Has it been? Will it be? I sometimes wonder if
your harshest critique is you, and if someone else spoke
to you like that, just what would you do. Would
you argue with them, tell them off? Or would you

(08:50):
just let it be? I am wondering all this as
you lie there now peacefully wondering perhaps why you let
that voice in, that negative one, the critical one. You

(09:11):
could always turn the volume down. I guess you have
the controls to turning that voice down, the one that
attacks and chide you, and choose a different channel, tuning
into a different thought, perhaps looking for and finding something

(09:34):
that you know you did well that you can pat
yourself on the back and say, well done. Is it
hard in your culture? Sometimes I know we are discouraged
from saying the things we are good at and playing
it down in that self depreciating way. But everyone is

(10:00):
good at something, and that is okay. At least allow
that voice in your head to say it. No one
else is listening, it is okay. If you ever heard
something on the radio you just could not stand the

(10:23):
song that you loathe, perhaps you can get up and
change the channel. You can tune right in to something
that you like, something that makes you feel good. As
you swivel that dial, different sounds echoing through until you

(10:44):
find that station you want, like getting off at the
right station in the car, perhaps at the place you
want to be. Or is that radio old fashion now
a thing of the past. What about the TV? Then

(11:08):
choosing the channel there not the one that you hate.
You would not make yourself sit hour after hour watching
and listening, listening and watching something you cannot stand when
there is an alternative choice, so many channels to choose from.

(11:34):
Now it is up to you. You have the power,
the choice. You can turn off that voice, that hurtful
one in your head, perhaps as you lie there in
your bed and review things past, all those that are

(11:56):
yet to come. Bring the cheerlead is cheering you on?
That is the voice that you have, and I wonder
which one you will choose now? You can switch it
off and make it stop, that negative voice, Turn it off,
make it stop, And you can, can you not? And

(12:22):
so before you allow yourself to drift up completely into conscious,
wait for lenness, or maybe you might choose to drift
into sleep to let the lessons communicate at a deeper level.

(12:43):
It may be useful for you to utilize the opportunity
now to think about what you've experienced, the thoughts, images, understandings,
and how you might use these things later on from
one day to them. Because you have an unconscious mind

(13:04):
and you have a conscious mind, and those two minds
can learn from your experiences here today some things that
you can utilize to deal more effectively with those things
that have been challenges for you before. So as you relax,

(13:27):
you can see your own hand moving across the page,
because it writes the words I am learning to enjoy
transforming any negative self talk into one of positivity and
self love. And as you finish writing those words, you

(13:50):
can go ahead and see yourself signing your name in
your own gold and signature. And so before you continue
to drift up into conscious awareness, normal wakeful awareness, or

(14:12):
maybe let your mind and body drift into sleep, it
is your privilege to use this time to become more
aware of those things you can use later on, those learnings, abilities,
and skills you may have overlooked before to give you

(14:32):
a new view of the possibilities for a new way
of thinking and feeling and doing things that's right. Take
some time now, a brief time that seems to be
a long time, to review and plan at some level
of awareness, those things you will do later on, those

(14:56):
things you may change later on to use more and
more of you. And you can use that time now
because in a few moments from now, when you drift
up and awaken, maybe just let your mind and body

(15:19):
drift into sleep. It may be interesting for you to know,
but in that drifting, relaxed state of mind, where your
thoughts drift by, like dreams that enter awareness for a
time and drift through the mind, whilst some are left

(15:40):
behind to be utilized later on, and others are remembered
or seem to be remembered at first, but then become
more and more distant, forgotten over time, and the entire

(16:00):
experience can seem so far away as your unconscious mind
protects a conscious mind and leaves those things behind forgotten
but remembered too, and time changes too, so you can
know what a journey it's been when you begin to

(16:23):
know that what seemed to take a short time turns
out to have been a long time, or what seemed
to be a long time was really no time at all.
So for now, whenever you wish to return to your
normal world, you can just count from one to five

(16:44):
as you awaken, or perhaps you might drift into a
deep and relaxing sleep to let all the messages sink
even deeper.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
