then please just do so. It will not stop your relaxation.
In fact, it will only relax you deeper. Now you
might hear sounds inside and outside the room, maybe the mailman,
or passing traffic, or even a phone ringing. Those are
(02:16):
just the sounds of the environment, and they will not
disturb you. They will only serve to relax you deeper.
You can know the first step to enjoy the peace
and tranquility of a meditation garden is to close your
eyes and take a nice deep breath and hold it
for account of three two one, and let it go
(02:38):
with a sigh, closing your eyes all the way down.
Your relaxation spreading all the way from the top of
your head to the tip of your toes. And as
you continue to breathe normally and relax even deeper. I
wonder if you can imagine being stood at the top
(03:00):
of five stone steps leading down to a gate set
in the stone wall, and from the top of the
stone steps you can see over that wall you can
see the most beautiful private garden from the top of
the steps. Now, before you take your first step, just
(03:22):
take a moment to enjoy the view. Notice the vibrant
colors in the garden, how they seemed to shimmer in
the heat of the sun, almost as if the colors
were dancing in the haze of the morning sun. And
(03:48):
as you take that first step down, you might notice
the fragrance of the garden drifting around you, surrounding you,
embrace you with every breath you take, filling you with
the warm scents of summer flowers. And as you take
(04:12):
the next step down, you can hear the birds singing
as they dance in the summer sky, their aerobatic ballet
or serenading the sun. Another step down, you can taste
(04:33):
the heat of the sun, as if its warmth was
making the air around you somehow more tangible, as if
you could feel it on your tongue and taste the warmth.
(04:55):
Now the final step, the sun tingling over you, your skin,
caressing you gently in its rays. And as you step
down off the step, you can see the gate in
front of you, and you can just know by passing
through that gate, you can leave all the cares and
(05:16):
worries of the world behind you. Once through that gate,
you'll be perfectly safe and in the most tranquil, private
garden you could possibly imagine. So, in a moment, you'll
(05:39):
walk up to that gate and you'll open it with
your mind. When you are ready to open it with
your mind, you can step forward and open the gate. Now,
step through and leave any worries or concerns behind you.
That's it. Step through the gate. You are perfectly safe
(06:03):
and perfectly private. You can fill the soft grass of
the path beneath your naked feet. Droplets of dew seem
cool against your skin as you gently walk along the path.
The flowers of the garden mark the path on either side,
(06:34):
and as you walk further and further along the path,
you might notice how the flowers seem to bloom as
you pass, allowing their nectar to become exposed to the
summer sun, their fragrance relaxing you further as you slowly
(06:56):
move along the path in the warm summer sun. The
further you walk along the path, the more relaxed you become.
The caress of the warm sun, the soft chew under
(07:20):
your feet, or just seem to relax you more and more,
and as you walk along the path, you pass through
a series of three flower arches, every arch bigger than
the last, and you get a sense of every time
(07:42):
you walk through the flower arch, the flowers in the
arch just come to life. The fragrance floats around you
and you can breathe that in and enjoy the sensation
of the fragrance entering your body and going the way down,
deep down inside your body. Every breath you breathe, taking
(08:13):
that fragrance down your neck, through your chest, your stomach,
down your thighs, through your calves, and down into your feet.
And with every breath you take, that fragrance relaxes you
(08:35):
deeper and deeper. And as you pass through the last arch,
you might notice now how the garden is a little wilder.
Before you is an opening with long grasses and wildflowers.
You can hear the bees gently buzzing in the flowers.
(09:00):
My other flowers hangs heavy in the air and seems
to make you feel even more relaxed, and you might
feel a sensation of relaxation flooding over your body as
you walk through the long grass, letting. Your fingertips just
play along the tips of the grass and they're hidden
(09:26):
in the corner is a large fountain, a very old
stone fountain with all sorts of symbols and signs carved
into it. And as you approach the fountain through the
long grass, you notice how water starts erupting from his tip.
(09:49):
As you get closer and closer, more and more water
shoots from the fountain, And as you see the water
glistening in the sun's rays, you realize how thirsty you are.
Tired and thirsty, thirsty and tired, and so leaning over
(10:18):
the fountain, you let the cool water just kiss your lips.
And as the cool water kisses your lips, you can
get a sense of it moving down your body. Now,
(10:43):
I don't know how you might feel that sensation of
the cool water moving down your body, Maybe as a
soft glow or a gentle tingle, or even a graunch
or flood of energy moving all the way down your body.
As you take more and more of the cool water
(11:07):
into your mouth, you feel more and more relaxed, and
you can feel it moving down your throat, down your chest,
your stomach, and resting just there. As it rests just there,
(11:32):
you can feel that sensation growing. It's almost as if
every mouthful was taking peace and tranquility through every nerve,
every cell, every fiber of your body. You feel the
(11:58):
urge to lay down in the line next to the
stream that feeds the fountain. And as you lay down
in the long grass, you can get a sense of
the sun moving over your body, relaxing you further. It's
(12:23):
warm caress take you deeper and deeper, and as you
close your eyes, you might notice how you can still
see the warm blow of the sun through your eyelids.
(12:49):
As you relax even deeper, let your hand drift gently
into the stream, the gentle caress of the cool stream
through your fingers, just here as to take away any
less tension, any less stress. You know you could just
(13:19):
relax so deeply now as you feel that stream moving
through your fingers, the gentle movement of water between your fingers.
As you relax all the way down, you can feel
(13:42):
the stream taking away, and the remaining tension in your
body just drifting away, taken by the stream. As you
immerse yourself in the relaxing rays of the afternoon sun,
(14:07):
peace and tranquility absorbed through every pore as you lay
in the garden, enjoying the soft glow of the afternoon sun,
(14:28):
enjoying that sensation of complete peace and tranquility. In a
(15:00):
I mean it will be time to return to your
normal world. So when you're ready, take my hand as
I guide you back, and as you walk up the path,
feeling life slowly returning back to your body, back to
the stebs, every step, your body feeling more and more energized,
(15:23):
more and more alive, getting a sense of whatever you're
resting upon, feeling yourself coming back to the room and
open your eyes as soon as you are ready, maybe
have a big old yawn, good
