Jesus calls us to shine His light boldly, but sometimes fear of judgment, criticism, or misunderstanding causes us to shrink back. We may worry that others will see our gifts as prideful or our testimonies as boasting. Yet, Matthew 5:16 reminds us: “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
