Why is my Cyclamen not blooming--not enough light?

We just had an email from Karen, and Karen says, my cycloman appears
to be dying. The old flowersare getting wilted and are not being replaced
by new ones. I don't overwaterit or underwater it. Do you think
maybe it needs more light? Well, this is a possibility. And cyclomen

is a plant that when it isdone flowering and has sort of speak,
spent itself. It is not uncommonfor them to go dormant, uh huh,
not dead, just they just upand quit after they've expended a lot
of energy and been very beautiful andso on. I think it's quite possible

more cyclomen are thrown away alive thandid because they just simply go into a
dormancy period. You can let itdry down even well once and I didn't
have good luck with it, butI was told to just let it dry
down in the pot, set itin a cool place in abasement, and
given time, it will start toregenerate. Pull it back out of the

shady storage area, put it inthe sun, and the way it goes
again. I missed a couple ofstrides in timings which didn't go well for
the plant. But I think Karenmay be dealing with just a well Karen's
plant, just dealing with a normalshutdown time. If she wants to,
she can save it over, butit is a plant for cool situations,

so this is the time of year. She could move it to an unused
bedroom and on a window sill whereit can just be left alone, and
then when it eventually starts to growagain, pull it back out and treat
it as a living plant. Sowhere she could be overwatering, yes,
she could be underwatering, yes,but if she's used to dealing with plants

and has a sense about the wateringtiming, I have a hunch the plants
just going dormant on her.
