What was it this week? Iguess it was we had an episode that
came out that looked like it cameout. I put it. I actually
published it on New Year's just tobe for fun. But truth was,
we met a month before and thesemonths go fast too for me, by
the way, it feels like,it feels like it's pretty quick where I'm
like, how are we gonna gettogether again? Which we were? I

think I need to work out withyou guys so we can we can pre
plan when we're gonna meet and things, because I also want to have some
guests. I have a few gueststhat actually have agreed to come on this
show, but I want to makesure that we're all on on with them
and stuff, so we'll we'll planthese a little bit more. It's always
hard because we've all been doing alot of stuff. There's been a lot

of things going on and so anyrate, so that's kind of kind of
part of that. And I knowthat we had talked in the last episode
too about our New Year's resolutions ofthings. But at the same time,
we've also talked a little bit aboutthings that we could do on here,
and different people have been writing recommendations, and we really want more of that

kind of what to do and howto structure this. I've gotten back and
forth over time because I listened toa lot of different podcasts, which I
will bring up again. A lotof these podcasts are going away right and
left the ones I liked. Imean, I used to love listening to
the Tested podcast, for example,back in the day, especially back when

I had Will Smith on it,not Will Smith like from the not the
actor Will Smith, not the steppingkind to the programmer slash that guy,
but at the same time like,yeah, I used to love listening to
that. And then they kind ofchanged their stell over time and they went

structured where they'd have like different segments, which initially I thought I'd like,
but then over time I was kindof like I missed when they were just
kind of riffing because I liked Iliked when they joked more. But also
that was partly Will and when heleft, I think some of that kind
of changed his things. I feltlike I could talk about this now because
they're not doing it. I don'tthink Norman Chan who who has helped this

out. Yeah, I don't wantto. I don't want to. I
don't want to think our relationships.Yeah, But I mean, at the
same time, like there's a lotof different ways we could kind of do
things, and and we're kind ofI'm I feel like that should be driven
by the audience. And so ifyou guys have recommendations for what you want

us to do or kinds of thingsyou want is to cover Vince, you
were bringing up something a few secondsago, like tell us a little bit
about that. As far as asfar as like movies, we had a
college yeah, when we did thewhen we did the prop Store poster review
where we talked about a lot ofold movies and things. And I need

to get up to date on allthe classics. And I have to admit
that even being a movie buff,I am a contemporary movie buff. So
it's going to be like from whateverI was born till a bit before that,
and not so much to the thirties, forties all the way to the
seventies, maybe maybe eighties, mideighties. I think I said before,
like the first change Bond I everwatched was Licensed to Kill. I wasn't

he was supposed to watch that becauseI was too young to see It's baby,
right. But yeah, so allthe old James Bunce, I haven't
watched all the Criteria movies, allthe old Munster movies like Dragular, franken
Steide, The Better Legosi Was.I know of them cultural osmosis, but
I've never watched them, actually watchedthem, and I looked at them,

and yeah, I'm going to takeup the challenge. But I would like
to have our audience decide which moviesI should watch first, and then in
the next episode that after I've watchedthem, of course, I'll be giving
you a short review of what myfindings were, if that's okay. Well,
the other thing we could always dosometime down there. I know we've

tired about different things we could dothat we still haven't done yet. But
at the same time, is notso much for the podcast, but just
just live streaming, we could wecould do a viewing party from one of
the streaming services to watch something thatwe can comment that would be funny and
our reaction kind of things. Ican think of several that would be great.

Sometimes the best ones for those areones that nobody's really seen or you
haven't seen it for a long longtime, because then yeah, because then
it's more it's more funny, orit's more entertaining or interesting. But that
also is something we could possibly doand that we take recommendations for, but

Well, also any sign up towatch in the classical films with evens because
I will say I'm pretty far behind. I'm watching all the classics. Yeah,
I'm just old, that's what.Yeah, I just feel like I'm
like kind of the same age andstuff where I just feel like I'm around

the same as you guys and stuff. But I think I'm old enough to
be your dad. Yeah. Well, the funny thing is because I also
ls progress, but I guesstimated thatJames will also be around my age.
But we're like a generation of theparty right, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah, twenty seven. Yeah,I'm thirty seven, so we're like

ten years apart or a decade apart, yeah, Jerry Silent, Yeah,
I'm old enough at the two ofus together or some Yeah, at least
with you. I guess I wasaround let's just say I was around like
in my early teens, probably whenwhen Vince was born. So so I

wouldn't be able enough to be yourdad, So that's good. But I
remember when you were talking once,we were we were talking about an individual
that were about Paul, because Pauland I are about the same age.
Uh, and so yeah, wait, you're talking around about like, wait
a minute, I'm about his age, so yeah, really fast. We

were probably talking about, guess becauseI watched Kids Convenience just around the time
my dad passed away, and that'swhen I've plready mentioned that he was about
the same age. And he kindof got me through a rough batch watching
that because he had the same dad'shumor as my father had. Yeah,
he kind of looked he looked likemy Asian, the Asian version of my
dad basically with the shape and everything. Thankfully, he's a lot younger than

my dad was. Yeah, Ithink he played the role older than he
actually is too. Yeah, soI thought it was also look a look
at Christopher A. Lloyd with withBack to the Future, right, he
wasn't that old when he played Ohman, that really? But I literally
was this last week. There's threethings that bother me. So so yeah,

you got Christopher Lloyd, you know, so how old was he?
Do you remember how old he was? Maybe like thirty something or even younger
six? Yeah, yeah, yougot it right there. And then Pat
Marita? How old is Pat Maritawhen he played Oh mister Miagi. Oh

I do hope it's above thirty though, which which you're give me a guess
I made maybe like forty two.Yeah, I was gonna say full Sea,
Yeah, forty two he was.It was fifty one when he was
playing a sixty five year old master. Of course he was also playing a
whole He was also playing these Japaneseright, and he was it was Korean,

right, so yeah, yeah,it was being very heavy on the
accent. Also, yeah, Imean yeah, yeah, you're like,
oh my gosh, I'm almost asold as the Ori, am as old
as the people that I thought weresold. Yeah, he's so good yeah.

So speaking about that the change bump, I forgot the one where they
dressed up as an Asian guy.Oh yeah, yeah, that one that
we discussed on the podcast. Now, just today on the news, I
read that I think the BBC orthe British Film Commission is gonna add some
disclaimer to uh when they're showing oldYeah, I'm gonna show old films that

you know, these are made withthe sensitivities of the day, we do
have to come know and all thatkind of stuff. But the actually mentioned
that that movie is one of theprime and also up to us where he
was seducing the lady. Yeah.Really, I mean people are really gonna
go through and put that at thebeginning of every single film that to do

that, yeah, well, Imean like Star Wars, even when you
look at it Star Wars, youknow they had to go back and change
accents and change some other things becausethe original Star Wars, I mean it's
pretty apparent that they're they're the samething with Star Trek that there's they're talking
about certain cultures and then you knowthat that they made it to I mean

like like even the in the evenin the prequels, the very first prequel
movie, all of a certain specieswere all Japanese. Yeah, and then
they changed it later on because they'relike, oh yeah did they do that?
Yeah, oh oh I know theoriginal Well yeah, yeah, wow,

you're yeah, yeah, I meannaturally, there's you know, it's
obvious when they're they're they're talking aboutlike you know, and and and the
UK's uh, you know, hierarchyand stuff like that, and so some
of those movies. But yeah,there's other ones where it's like, oh,
this is very obviously the one thingthat that was interesting about the disclaimer
deal is you know fight Club becausI've seen Fight Club, right, yeah,

okay, so fight Club in Japangot they they changed the ending and
they put a disclaimer at the frontbecause Japan didn't like the idea of what
you know, happens in the endor what he tried to do. Yeah,
so all of a sudden, outof nowhere before you know, that
whole set of last scenes that youcan remember, I don't know what exactly,

at what point, all of asudden, just words appear on the
screen that say yeah, and everythingkind of worked out and stuff, and
they said like that the census mewill say, like that the dog went
to his own planet just whatever.That was awesome. Yeah, that was
a great one. That was agood episode. I was watching it.

I was watching a series of ApplePlus, I think it was Foundation or
something, and all of a sudden, it's is just like this, Uh,
this episode contains the signs of episodewhatever, like one of the main
cat's gonna die, like artcles doing, like, Okay, something's gonna happen.
This person is not feeding. Well, this episode shows signs of and

I'm like kind of didn't want toknow that because it was gonna spoiler.
But what's funny about that is I'mnot gonna have to go back and take
out the words that you just said. Oh yeah, because it's one of
the blacklist words on Plus. Wehave to put a link in eur l
En that says if you have aperson, you know, stuff like that.
Yeah, it's like I'm beating orunlifeing or not whatever. Yeah.

Yeah, there's a lot of Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. I
mean I think it's something that shouldbe it. There should be conversations about

my pretty printed. I know whatpart that is. It was on the
side of the proton pack, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's
just just like poop poop, Ihave too little They're like too little nozzles.

Yeah, yeah, I knew whatthat was. That's that's pretty good.

Is that for your currents? Uh? A friend of mine part of
the Dutch cost versus a costplay group. He had a say, like a
shell like the fiberglass shell. Yeah, but not all the stuff that was
associated with it, like not notall the uh like these kind of things.

Uh, that was all missing.So I said, well, I've
got a three D printer, andI've got time to waste, so I
might as well three D print theseparts for you because they're gonna cost me
any money. Basically, they're liketwo bucks a piece splastic wise, right,
I want to I want to findyou my printer anyway, so I
might as well use those. Yeah, you get the new printer and stuff.

(13:48):
Do you intact that about that ona different day or do you want
to talk about that now? We'regoing all over the place from from movie
Tough Races in the episode where wecan talk about whatever. This is just
a follow up. This is theshould notice that James is not a cat
today. Yeah, yeah, therehe is. Well, it's it's a

bought recently. It is so nice. It does have some makeups sometimes,
but they're all preventable. Yes,it basically is an appliance now and not
a not a way of suffering.You add one or two nozzles or what
does it have on it? Soit has a filament hub on top of

(14:35):
it that has four types. Youcan have four types of filament, okay,
and it's all automated, so ithas like a cutter that cuts the
filaments for you. It has asensor that knows when your old filament is
gone and your new filament goes in. Uh. It keeps track of the
way, It keeps track of alot of stuff. It keeps track of
you for you. Like also maintenancestuff, like there's a lidar on it

(15:00):
that scans the bed that it looksthat the basically the three D scans kind
of your your built plates so thatit accommodates for overflow issues or if your
eyes aren't that straight. All thatkind of stuff. That's pretty good.
Spaghetti spaghetti detection and all that kindof stuff. But also like maintenance stuff

(15:22):
like I had a dirty sensor thatputs stuff out of alignment, and then
you just get a QR code,you scan it in with your phone,
you get a little video that saysout to do it, and then you
just fix it by yourself. Andit's great. I mean, all the
troubleshooting and all the handling I've doneso far has been have been helped out.
And I've been printing more than yeamore of my share of stuff now

(15:46):
is like also the quality is insane, like this is a peak eater that
I printed out in plastic. Yeah, it's just for the back. Oh
yeah, this is just like veryvery high busy. Yeah yeah, so
this is this is this is reallygood stuff. And I it's prints so
fast. I just finished printing somesome stuff on the printer. It sets

(16:11):
updates, everything is out of thebox operational, and I mean, if
I had more money, I wouldbuy second one immediately, but I still
has to keep everybody happy at home. But it's it's a great thing.
And I'm gonna get rid of allmy other three D printers soon or one
way or another, either sell itor gifted, because this thing is the
bomb, and it's it's it's it'sreally a revolution in three D printing.

(16:34):
I had. I started out intwenty seventeen, I believe or earlier with
like a Chinese I three printer,and then I built one my own like
a cruise show. Then I gota resin printer, then I got any
cubic fiber, and this is myfifth. Okay, yeah, you know,
and so I've been through the ropes, but I mean it's it's such

(16:57):
a relief that that any you wantto print now and there are some quirks,
of course, because I printed inP A T G now and the
old ranks don't really work as well, so you have to finnick with supports.
But once you know the print orientationand know the sports and everything get
tweaked. It's perfect. It's it'sdurable, it's fast, it's strong.

(17:18):
It's great stuff. So I've beena milling a lot of fo yeah,
ghostbusters props. I really printed mywebcam mount because my webcam mount broke off.
I have the old one right here, so this screw kind of died
or fell out. Yeah, soand it went it went through because I,

(17:41):
you know, died in it toomuch. But it's like a proprietary
Logitech street cam thing, and Ijust couldn't get it to work. And
then I'm thinking verse there was thismodel that basically says a pull the screw
out and push it back in,and now I just have a good working
mount. It's great. I'm lovingit. Well, sorry, well that
sounds too shabby. That seems verygreat. I didn't know that you had

(18:04):
as that's that's interesting to know.Yeah, I got it. Is it
it's for resin stuff like those ofthose are smaller parts anyways that you're printing.
So yeah, but it's it's quitetoxic and quite asshole to get everything
done. Yeah, I don't likeabout them. Pan. Yeah, just

just for people who are didn't know. I've got a baby coming up,
a second one, so my wife'spregnant, so I'm not gonna mess with
any toxic materials anytime soon in thehousehold, which is a good good way
to say what happens when you havea baby. There's no avoiding. Yeah
no, but but if I don'twant to mix that with any resin,

if that's possible, yeah, yeah, that makes sense. So yeah,
and the gases and everything else,it's just yeah, probably not the best.
Yeah, but that all came ina long way. So I hope
that one day there's gonna be agood mix between resin printing and FtM.
But for now, the bamboo Xcarbon is like the cream of the crop.

Definitely worth the investment. Also,there was this big, big sale
going on, like Black Friday saleapparently, and I bought it just before.
So I sent them an email andsaid, hey, guys, I
just bought this thing expecting not therenot to be a Black Friday sale.
So could we do something, andapaciously gave me stork credit so I could

actually get like five hundred bucks worthof scored stork credit and buy la and
stuff or some Yeah. Yeah,yeah, I bought some extra parts just
to make sure. But yeah,customer service really really well done, and
yeah, really happy with it tobe honest. Well, James, we
haven't seen you since before the lastyear. Yeah, since the Lost teenage,

Yes, this last year. Yeah, have you been traveling a lot?
You've been going to a lot ofplaces. I've been watching your advance.
I've been making the most of myholidays at work. I went to
Austria for the Christmas Christmas fairs thatthey typically do during December in Gratz,

which I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed.Mh. I went skiing for the first
time ever. I didn't breast error, strange black yah. It was it
was an experience. I spent likethe first hour on like not even the

base remp or the base slope likely, which is just the like it's a
conveyor belt, it's deep, andthen it just sort of getting like learning
how to go up and down andjust walk around in the snow. From
there, I went to some abit more advanced, although this is still
like for four or five year olds, and I managed to do that.

I finally figured out how to breakwhen going down and children as you're going
down the hill, so it bothhave. Yeah, we went onto the
first official slope and I wasn't warnedthat there's sort of a big or big
stroke like for me, it wasthe biggest drop, and so I was

picking up speed and then suddenly therewas no snow below me. Oh and
so I have a video of me, uh, sort of going alone and
then you see rock or something.Are you saying like you're in the air?
No, no, no, no, no no no. It wasn't
that trip like it was sort ofstreet ish and then it was like a

cartoon where it just suddenly you're outabout the realizing nothing that bad. Thoroughly
upset in that case, but Idid. I did sadly break one of
the skiing poles that I that Iwas renting. Oh yeah, well well
not renting. It was lint likeit was a friend's family. Is not

too expensive, that could be youwouldn't have been too and they said it
was whole anyway, So it waspretty much honest way out. Yeah,
yeah, that it was. Sothat was a great experience. There after,
I think we were there for sixhours. After six hours, we
were both thoroughly like worn out,and then we still had like an hour

and something drive back home, andit was absolutely freezing out there. Like
even with all the like the extraclason it does, it does like warm
you up, and it wasn't toobad. But the second that snow gets
inside of your gloves or whatever isdone, well, a few activities where
you can be frozen and get usthe sunburn at the same time. Yep,

I was lucky get the Yeah.Now here's the other big thing I'm
excited about because James made a purchase. I actually showed a clip from their
website. I couldn't do the audio. But at the same time, you're
getting something that actually I wanted toget for years and I've been trying to
I've actually made a few purchases thatwent went south. So because a lot

of these Chinese companies, you don'tknow if you're getting the actual thing or
not sometimes. And I remember Isaw a discount on one that used to
be kind of the popular one thatwas similar to it, and h and
I bought it. I was like, I can't believe I'm getting it for
this price. And you know,what they had on the site was not
what arrived in the mail, andso I contacted PayPal and luckily my production

stuff allowed me to try and sendit back and it because they wouldn't.
They had no communication after that.I sent it back and then it it
wound up coming back to me.This is one area where I guess stuff
coming back to me actually worked out. Came back to me, and I
contacted PayPal. I'm like, look, I tried everything I could. They
said, yep, you just getto keep it. We refunded you already,
and so I got the money backand then I took the It was

a kid's helmet instead of an adultand it was just cheap plastic and it
just kind of like a little thefront and then the eyes did kind of
light up, but it just wasa flip open thing, totally not what
was advertised. But I ended ongiving that to a kid that a friend
of mine has, a kid thathad a in uteral stroke and a huge
Iron Man fan, so he wasvery slept in it and everything else.

So I mean, it's still kindof worked out, but I still wanted
that helm it really bad. Andwhen you first sent the information and I
was like, oh, I shouldbuy that too, and he said,
I'm just gonna live vicariously through you. So so why is this thing coming?
So so to add a bit morecontact, is I recently bolts,
well recently my bolts like as asoul of Christmas present ish uh the Ironman,

an Ironman helmet, a month fiftyIronman helmet. So I don't know
if the audience has seen like Ishowed the clip at the beginning the last
episode and said that you bought it, and it showed the opening, but
it didn't have the sound. Sothis is also this is voice activated.
So you say, there's a fewcommands. One of them is open suit.

There's another one that's open helmet.There's another one to so so one
can just open up this piece orit goes like this, But then there's
another one where the back literally alsobacks up and opens when up for open
suit, so you can take thething off. I watched a popular streamer
that got his already and he's like, I thought I was supposed to do

this, but that was the milkfive I think because he got all excited
though when it opened he was likeI was supposed to be he said it
up again, it opened up,and he's like, okay, yeah,
I know he's definitely seen. Soyeah. So that's that's the Mink five
and some one opens up like indifferent pieces. Yeah. So I think

it opens up like seven pieces,like in the front if you ask it
to open one way and if asone piece yea with the mark fifty they
put like they started accepting orders forit in September. The latest update as
of like two days ago I thinkit was, is that they've received all
the pieces for it and that they'reassembling them. So in the next two

weeks the people that started ordering itin September of last year should start like
they should starting now. And soI got wine in November, so I'm
planning in the like in the nexttwo three months, hopefully I should be
I should be getting mine. Wow, pretty exactly. Are you actually touched

I noticed that people like, oh, shoot, what's his name?
Uh World of Blane is this guythat also builds the lows props and stuff?
Is that some people got a holdof the C three p O the
fat fat what is it called Jack'sFat Toys or whatever they're called. But

they had multiple three they made ofdifferent scales, and I tried buying them
online and I got like all theseones, another of them were the right
scale because most of them went tothe UK, and then I recently got
I finally got him. So thisis the guy. He's the right scale
to go with that R two thatI have. And uh so I'm gonna

fit into his eyes and and repaint him and do the real CEE three
p o paint job on him andstuff and then make him more. He
lights up and we'll stand yeh,he stands. He can actually stand with
his hand on this on R twoand stuff. So nice, right,
finally got it, but but yeah, that was a long that was a
long journey to try and get thatstupid and I got all the wrong sized

ones here. Yeah, you shoulddo like a video where you just destroy
them and then have the clips goingoh noels keep going or fall over like
a multiple times, just stupid stufflike falling off, falling off a window

sill, or falling off a carlike and I'm just put some clipstreaks in

of holds that aside, So beaware if you do that, then we
