Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yes, this is a topic that is very very important
to me. Through the radio network we do high I
like mental health, mental awareness. So I do have a
message to share with everyone tonight. And before I go forward,
I would like to share a song and I want
(03:13):
you to please take the time to listen to the lyrics.
And the name of the song is deliver Me. This
is my exodus. And if your heart is open to
receive whatever it is that you have been struggling with,
whatever the source of your depression has been, today is
a day where we could say bye bye so long,
(03:34):
because it really comes down to making a choice and
making a decision to come out of agreement with the
lies that we have believed, especially when we feel like
it's something that we did. And then you have condemnation.
But self condemnation will lead a person into a deeper spiral,
(03:57):
downward spiral where the spirit of depression works closely with
the spirit of heaviness that just keep you in this
dark place where you don't see the light. But this
song is deliver Me. This is my exodus, and I
speak prophetically as I say to you, this is your exodus.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
I need you, I need you. I need you today.
Jesus God, I need you to day. Jesus. Oh, I'm
going through so much right now. Jesus, Jesus God. I
(04:44):
can't even understand. I can't even understand, but I'm knowing.
I know you're a God, You're able to bring us through.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I had to say Lord.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
To deliver me because all seem joys heard me, her
mean me, but toliver me because I see to joy
(05:46):
it hay.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Me.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
I'm never me because you see if it is.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
Again see.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Saget say s you've God glory, your God glory, because
(07:21):
it ain't nobody. It ain't nobody said you can do it.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
Please quiet, I thank you so much for taking the
time to listen to the words of the song. So
(07:48):
we are going to talk about fighting depression. I have
a question. I always share questions, and the purpose of
my questions is to get you to think about the
various situations that you find yourself in. The purpose of
my questions is to promote self examination and to encourage
(08:11):
healthy confrontation. A lot of times, when we're hurt, when
we're wounded, we tend to run away from the hurt
and the pain. We tend to hide, and sometimes we
like to put on a mask. And a mask is
used to conceal, to cover up, and to hide our
true feelings, and it also hides our true identity. So
(08:32):
before we get started, my first question is are you
really who you say you are or are you perpetrating
the fraud? And the reason I'm asking that question because
whatever hurt you have gone through, whatever lies you have believed,
whatever lies you have received from the enemy, including those
that have been traumatized, including those that have been betrayed,
(08:54):
including those that have been rejected, those that have been isolated,
those that have been a band, and if you have
ever been dissatisfied by the actions of a loved one,
a family member, or a friend, it left a hole
in your soul. So my theme is do you have
a hole in your soul? So I want you to
(09:15):
use your imagination and I want you to see a
rooftop and in that rooftop there are several holes in
the ceiling and whenever it rains, the rain enters into
the house. So do you have a hole in your soul?
And the reason I'm asking that question is because our
(09:39):
soul is very important. Our soul consists of our mind,
our will, our intellect, in our emotions and how we
filter things, and we all filter things differently. The Psalms
thirty four, Verse one says, I will bless the Lord
at all times, and its praise shall continue really be
(10:01):
in my mouth. And I know I sound real joyous
and real excited and happy, right, But what happens when
your heart is broken? What happens when you experience disappointments?
What happens when there's a leak in the ceiling. So
I want you to see the ceiling as your heart,
and I want you to see the ceiling as your soul.
(10:23):
So when we deal with that part of our soul
with the subconscious mind, it consists of our attitudes, our beliefs,
our emotions, our feelings, and our memories. Now, how many
good memories do you have? And how many good memories
(10:43):
do you glorify God and give thanks to Him? And
how many of those good memories do you use to
grow and to spiritual maturity because of the wonderful lessons
that you learn from those beautiful memories. I like to
talk about a battery, because a battery has a negative
(11:06):
and it has a positive. So we just identify those
positive memories, But what about those negative memories that bring
a lot of hurt, pain, shame, embarrassment, condemnation in those
negative memories that kill your spirit, that cause mental anguish,
and the spirit of torment has been harassing you and
(11:30):
it causes you to rehearse your hurt and pain with
that particular memory over and over and over and over.
And when this happens, you are fueling that memory. You
are given power to that memory. And so we have
to understand that we have a choice to embrace the
(11:54):
positive lessons that are even in the midst of those
those negative memories, those negative experiences. And this is where
we talk about embracing the sufferings of Christ. As believers,
we're all going to experience opposition. We're all going to
experience disappointment, and straight from the gate, the enemy is
(12:19):
on an assignment to discourage us. In the moment we
get discouraged. Guess who's knocking at the door. The spirit
of the spirit, the spirit of dissatisfaction, the spirit of complaining.
Nothing is going my way, and we forget all about
I will bless the Lord at all times, and this
praise shall continually be in my mouth. So I want
(12:40):
to challenge you today, be authentic as you receive what
God is saying to you today. Be authentic with being
honest with the hurt and the pain you feel insigne,
be authentic with the disappointment, but make a conscious decision
to come out of agreement with the level of negativity
(13:03):
that has blossomed, that has grown out of that negative memory,
so that your soul can begin to heal. So it's
easy to talk about fixing a roof that has a
hole in it, but when it comes to our heart,
and my next question is do you have a whole
in your heart? And do you have a hole in
(13:24):
your soul? And what is the source of that whole?
What caused the whole? What are your root issues? So
every word that comes out of your mouth, whether it's
positive or negative, faith is being formed. So when we're
speaking negative, guess what, we are creating our situations and
helping it to get worse. But when we speak positive,
(13:46):
we are creating new life, new beginnings, and we're taking
control of a bad situation and we're turning it around.
So do you have a good attitude or do you
have a bad attitude? What is the state of your
emotions as a believer? Do you make your decisions based
on the word of God or do you make your
(14:07):
decisions based on your feelings and your emotions? Do you
allow your emotions to take control of you and listen
if you do. This is not like a wrong answer
or it's not. My questions are not designed to make
you feel bad. Some of us simply did not know
how to handle a lot of the hurt and pain
(14:28):
and disappointments. There are so many mind binding spirits that
are sent against us through word curses, through incantation, through divination, witchcraft,
in our dreams. Some people don't even understand why they
think the way they think or why they speak the
way they speak. So when we think negative all of
(14:49):
the time, it affects our attitude, our belief system, it
affects our feelings, and it affects our memories.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
