Keep listening, Welcome everyone to the Youth Journey Stories on
the Youth for Praise Radio. And I'm your host, Tory,
and tonight we'll be We're having a guest, a very
special one, a daughter of the Most High, like she says,

(01:41):
and I know she's she's one powerful woman of God
that I.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Know as well as sister.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
It's just stuff from another mother, and I'm so glad
I have her as it's just.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
Stand a friend.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
So the next verice you'd be hearing will be my
stuff from another mother. Hello, Hi, our guests, Hello, how
are you doing good?

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Evening? Well?

Speaker 6 (02:20):
Sorry?

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Well hello, right, I said, good evening. How are you doing?

Speaker 6 (02:27):
Oh I'm doing good. I'm doing good. And how are you?

Speaker 5 (02:31):
I'm fine? And how is Botswana?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
I was done as good, but done as good, no
problems at all.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Okay, Okay, that's cool.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
That's cool.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
Cool.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
So without wasting much time, because the program was supposed
to be well done by now, so let's just go
into it. So tell us about yourself, tell us about
the person we're talking to. Your name, and you know

(03:04):
a little bit about yourself.

Speaker 7 (03:07):
Okay, my name is Joahammad. I'm from Boswana in Africa.
And what can I say about myself. I'm just a
woman who loves God, who will die for God, who
wants to just you know, if there's one thing that

(03:30):
I just want to do in this in this world,
for anything, before I leave this world. I have told
God that the one thing that I just want to
do is make sure that I saved. Many many souls
come to Him, many souls are saved through me, you know,

(03:51):
and that's all I want to do.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
Honestly.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
I'm gonna ask you if you which you prefer? Do
you prefer sports or music?

Speaker 6 (04:05):
I prefer music.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I knew you were going to say music, because well,
you know, for me, there's some women say they prefer
sports because they are sports people.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
They like the football line.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
They like you know, Well, okay, why do you like
music and what kind of music do you like?

Speaker 6 (04:28):
Honestly, I only listen to gospel music.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Okay, yeah, I have lived in the world. I used
to listen to every other music, but ever since I
just became born again, I just decided that I don't
want to bring any other spirits, so I only listen
to gospel. And the reason why I like gospel it

(04:54):
is because even when you're down and you just listen
to gospel music, it just gets you up, you know.
You know, just I don't know, there's just something that
music dies to a person.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
So so what's that what's that unique difference?

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Because listening you just said about about listening to gastial music.
Other people have said it about listening to circular music.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
So I'm gonna ask you what is that unique.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Difference that's that benefits or that thing you can use
to like different ships listening to ghost of music from
listening to circular music.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
Okay, oh man, this one is a tough one because I'm.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Not gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Even when I was in the world, you know, when
I listened to all these other music, it was it
could still make me feel better.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
I don't want to lie. I But then what is
the difference.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
The difference is what kind of spirits that you're bringing
into your life?

Speaker 6 (05:55):
Right?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Very true, because that music, you know, you can feel
like you know, you'll be seeing about different things and
you'll think that you're getting better, but instead you're possessing
some spirits.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
Because we live in a spiritual world.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Right, You're think, man, this song is so nice and
it's talking about this and this, but you don't know
you're getting that spirit.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
So the nice thing about gospel is.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
I mean, obviously you have to have descendmental who you
listen to and stuff, right, But the nice thing about
gospel music is it talks about Jesus, right. It talks
about me, me, Him saving you and all that. And
you know that obviously the Holy Spirit is there, not always.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
But that's why I say you have to have senden.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Because some people are an add singing gospel music like HDR.

Speaker 6 (06:46):
So that's what I'm saying, that's the difference.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
So what was your favorite gospel singer.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
I'm a big fan of your feelings.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Some ministers your feeling Sunday, that's I just have the
thing for Batman.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
Mm hmmm, let's let's go.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
We have this song.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Yeah, I'm a big fan of Nigerian music.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
She loves my drum music. I've seen that about her,
like I've noticed that about her. She loves my dream music.

Speaker 8 (07:26):
And I don't know, let's go come to I don't know, so.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
Yes, she has to come to number one.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
I came here, okay, So so why did why do
you choose?

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Why did you choose Ah to your feelers? Why did
you choose him?

Speaker 6 (07:59):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Then when I'm listening to for your Feelers, right, he
just gets me praying.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
I don't know why, Like every time when I'm just
listening to the song.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
By You're feeling, and I feel like he puts he
puts us all into his music, you know, like I
can feel like and you know the songs that he sings,
you know, like.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
I can't even explain it, like this story and then
there's no glory in this world, Like.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
He just really puts everything inside of him and then
you know you're just compelled to pray no matter what.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
That's justly every time I'm listening to your feelings. I
used to love ministers do you see more than? But
now I love your feelers more.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
I love all night. I love Nigerian artists to be honest.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
Ih not good too and express that.

Speaker 6 (08:57):
Yeah, now I'm coming to Nigeria.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Okay, Okay, that's good. That's good. Okay. So I'm going
to ask you another one.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Between marry and business, carrier and ministry, which do you pay?

Speaker 6 (09:16):
Can you please say that out loud?

Speaker 5 (09:19):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I said, between marriage, business, career, business of career and ministry, which.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
Oh my god, I love.

Speaker 6 (09:38):
So like it has to be one. I have to
choose one.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Oh, yes, you have.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
To choose one.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
But I love marriage, okay, ministry.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Okay, okay, fine, fine, you love marriage and you love ministry,
So tell me about it. Why you're not choosing business
a carrier? Why why you can choose minis career? I
don't know, are you?

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Why not using those.

Speaker 6 (10:05):
I'm not in the world like those things to me.
I don't want to lie.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
I know that people are after careers and business. I've
gone I've tried those and they haven't been working for me.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Trust me, try well, I really tried it. So I
love that. I love that. I love that. Okay, So
how long have you been?

Speaker 2 (10:32):
You said you were in the world before and then
you got to know Christ and everything changed for you.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
How long has this been?

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Mine is a long story story, but I'm just going
to carry a short Let me be honest. I've been
born against so many times.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Oh okay, we can talk. We can talk about that
maybe outside this.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
What what I'm just trying to say.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Is I can't really pinpoint because what I'm trying to
say is I've really tried so many times, right, but
I kept backsliding.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
I kept backsliding. But now I've for the first time
ever in my life. This is the first time I
was like, you know what, now I'm staying. I am not.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Backsliding, you know. And it's been a bat and ever
since I came. I'm telling you, this is the first
time I've never seen myself doing funny things or getting
out of line.

Speaker 6 (11:34):
It's been four years now, but before.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
Then, I was a Jehovah's witness. Again, by the way,
just to tell you again, I've been in Pentecost I've
been in Jehovah's business. I was baptisters at Jehovah's witness,
I was baptisted as a pentecost when I was young.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
So yeah, now we've been everywhere.

Speaker 6 (11:59):
Yeah yeah, basically and.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
Now and now you're fixed with God.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
I know now, I'm set Now, I know, I know
this is where I belong.

Speaker 5 (12:11):
Hm hmm.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
So what have you learned from your past? What's that
thing you've learned from your past that you know, you
know can help other people when they listen to it.

Speaker 6 (12:23):
I don't want to lie. Being in the world is tough.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Being in the world is tough because you know what
happens when you're going through a lot, when things are breaking,
you have well, you do have certain people that you
can turn to, but they can never be God.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
They can never give you that peace. That's the past
is all understanding, you.

Speaker 9 (12:44):
Know, when when you're in when you're not in the world,
when you're living for God, even when you're going through
whatever you're going through, you know, you know, and you
know you're gonna you know, you'll find yourself going through
so much, but yet having that peace not no like
and you know that.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
Peace is just from God.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
You know you have God by your side, and you
know when certain things happen to you, you just know
you're protected. You know that even if this person wants
to hit me, even if this person wants to strike
me right.

Speaker 6 (13:14):
Now, I'm a child of God, they will not do
anything to me. But in the world, you never know.
You can just walk and something just hits you and
you're dead and gone.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
But in for me, I have that kind of faith
that I'm protected always, even if even if witch has come,
like a whole lot of witches and they try to
kill me, they can never that is just time failure.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Louieah, I love that. Thank you, Thank you so much.
So what's one positive word you say to yourself? Just
one positive word?

Speaker 5 (13:48):
What is the one when you wake up every mon?

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Yeah, like where you're going through some challenges, it's this
one word you say to yourself that comforts you.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
For me, I'm if there's one thing that I'm always
saying is he will never leave me, know forsake me.

Speaker 6 (14:06):
I know that I'm always covered. I know that's good.
I know that you know, no matter what I go through,
I have got by my side, always, always, always always.
That's just what keeps me going? That's my word every day,
and I know that I'll take it.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
