The Saint John’s Program for Real Change is an intensive year long program for homeless women and their children. By providing a safe, sober environment St. John’s allows for these women to get their lives back together and move forward to be productive and healthy families. Former Sacramento Mayor, Heather Fargo and former member of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, Roger Niello, join the program to discuss the importance this organization has in our community. AND January is National Radon Action Month. California Department of Public Health’s Senior Environmental Scientist Natalia Deardorf is in studio to discuss the health implications of this radioactive gas and how, while supplies last, you can get get a free testing unit to help the CDPH update statewide Radon Potential Maps.
