Despite the daily trivialities it is important to make certain that our children and our pets do not get overlooked. This week we speak with Sean McCartney, CEO of The Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado County. We check in with Food Literacy Center's Chief Food Genius, Amber Stott, to see how they are meeting the challenge of isolation while continuing to inspire kids to eat their vegetables. And the Stay at Home order has put a hold on spay and neuter procedures which will result in a spike of wild and feral cats. Sacramento SPCA Community Outreach Manager, Marnie Musser, joins us to discuss what steps to take if you find a litter of kittens, how you could become a foster family or even adopt a kitten of your own.
