Jill Julian Tackett of Commissioner khe SAA. There are referee positions open out there.
It's been through a lot weather,all kinds of weather probably happened this

past week. Two postpone games,canceled games and rearrange games, and Vince
has most of the staff. Ithink we're gonna have ten wins or more.
Some of us thinking thirteen wins.So it has been a great show
thus far. Just want them kindof crapt things back in regroup. See
where we are collectively, Larry Vaught, after the past two hours finished up

this final, I where are youat? Mentally? There's been a lot
to take in. It's been ait's it's been a lot to absorbed.
I've liked it. I mean,I think we've enjoyed listening to Julian information
on what he had to share.And I always like Vince because I say,
he's the associate coach, recruiting coordinator, NFL lias on tight ends,

coach, goodwill ambassador. But hecan go through that whole roster for you.
And I mean, and the guysthat he mentions you pay attention to
ye. And I'll again, likeI could ask. I could talk to
Vents for two hours and ask questionsand things. I mean, I still
think one of the best recruiting moveshe made was when you get Dion Walker.

But everybody's recruiting to be an offensiveline and that's what Vince said.
He could be a great one.But most schools weren't wanting to say,
hey, well, if you wantto play defense, will let you try.
Why in the world would you notsay, okay, we'll see,
like what Vince did, and thatgot him in the door, and he
just stayed in the door then,and look at what you've got now,

I mean, you've got a guythat even even Annoir who never walks to
you, don't get too glad sayinghe got a chance to be a top
five NFL pick. I mean,for anwar. That's as far out as
he's But when he said it thefirst time at media day, tell us,

haven't heard his name in a while, but I think he's transitioning between he's

in the tweens this and he doesthis too well and this too well,
where they really don't know where they'regonna use them. Sometimes you got running
back who catch the ball a lotand running backs who run the ball,
so you get stuck between whether you'rerunning back or receiver. Those type of
things do happen. Larry but areyou playing just playing? Are you surprised
that uh Shamar Porter wasn't brought up? Yes, I was okay, And
I still think that might be agafway to ask Fence about. Yeah,

he'd just set a little bit morebecause you can't get through the seasonal like
five receivers or something like what they'retalking about, right, And I think
Samar is bigger than Burying. He'salmost as fast as as Varying. I
mean, he was a top threehundred recruit, had his choice of anywhere
to go, and I mean Ireally really like him. I've watched some
of his film. I got tosee him play once in high school and

I was down in the Nashville area. Yeah, and I've talked to him
a couple of different times. Ithink he's a guy that Yeah, I
think somewhere along the way you're gonnasee him get his change. I think
him and Anthony Brown, they've gottwo dynamite receivers. Of course, they
just got a commitment from another guyin Florida receiver that I think it's gonna
be a really big time player fortwo for him and hardly gilmore So.

I mean, Limb is bringing ina lot of big time receivers. And
as I said, I watched CutterBowley last night. Really like Tim,
you got the commitment from Stone Saundersin the twenty twenty five class or either
we had him on his day adon with us. So those those guys

to say about the officiating. Ithink, honestly in this country need to

start a program in high school tryingto teach the kids who are not the
greatest athletes how to stay in thesport after high school and be officials.
I think they need to be aclass that can bridge that gap. And
it's not only in trackers, andI mean not only football. Track is
another one where officials are are startingto wean themselves out because it's all of

the baby boom boomers guys. Weneed to get some young officials and track
two involved in sports because not likemister Tacker said, now everybody after high
school continues there their athletic career afterthat. But as far as the football
team, man, I can't understandhow we at UK can't get on the

bandwagon with this team with all thedepth and like coach said earlier, is
is we play a lot of freshmanlast year. Now I think about the
biggest improvement is from the freshman toyour sophomore year. If those guys were
good last year, they're gonna beeven better this year. With a spring
in the strength and condition program isa big key for all these young kids

coming from from high school in thehigh school rank because your your body starts
to develop. So I think thisyear it's going to be a great year
for us. Like coach said,if God willing, we stay out of
out of the out of the trainingroom, I think this is gonna be
a special year. And you canhear it in his voice that how excited
to hear is for this first game. And I know we talked about this

on the locker. I can't.I think. Okay, So Larry Vault
has us eight and for it,I think Larry vall, Oh, I've
gone up, I've gone well,we're going back. No, we're going
back to last week. Okay.And I want to see evil, even
with all that blue kool aid youjust drink. I want to see I
want to see Silvan, Larry said, which is all of all of his

projections are understandable to me. Hesays Alabama and Georgia probably gonna be ones
we would likely not win or it'llbe tough to win. He also thinks
Tennessee is Tennessee and Tennessee Tennessee Ufor four years and the other one Mississippi
States. Yeah, Mississippi State,which yes, And I'm on the Mississippi
State bandwagon. I think that's gonnabe one we may overlook. So so

I don't have a problem with thisfor I don't know if he which one
of those four or which two ofthose four he's gonna change now that he's
up to ten or eleven wins.But but where are you at? I
know eleven? I may be goingall the way now, So you got
any arguments with Larry or you thinkLarry is just you think Larry is just

in those four games, because Idon't see any problem with those four games.
No, I don't. But here'sa great think about where the program
is. Just imagine in ninety fiveif you saw George and Alabama again,
you were calling those as losses juststraight off the bat. Now those are
those two, don't look and nowand now we're in a game of oh
well, I mean they on papercould probably will probably be the butt.

There's a chance that we can probablysneak one of those. And I think
that's where we had. This isthe thing about mystp State and it is
that you've got a whole new staffcoming in a different offense, which this
guy is not gonna run the Leachsystem, I'm sure, and those guys
were recruited for that system. Ithink you got to look into that and
see are they gonna be able toadapt offensively to this new scheme in year

one. That's that's asking a lot. If that happened to kentuckt We've been
all where our offense is gonna struggle, So why can't we say that two
other teams. I just think thereare some things with Georgia new quarterback,
Alabama new quarterback. I think Tennesseecoming to our home this time. I
think those are the difference makers thatI can see us at least winning two

of those. And that's why I'mstaying ten wins because I think we can
win two of those, and Iwill standing strongly on those that we can
win ten games because I think wecan get miss Standing Starksville, although we
both know how difficult it is toplay that, and I see, there
you go. That's that's why Iwent back and pick Mississippi State because Anthony
keeps telling me that, because it'sso hard to play down there. If

they don't fool pointing you, wegot a chance. They food coachers and
who knows what they're gonna do toyou down there. So I'm still having
a hard time because Van Kentucky hasnot beat an SEC West team on the
road since back in two thousand andten. I think it is when U
Joker, when they've won that gameat Auburn and they used three different quarterbacks

game? You're at the cornerback position. You want to see a rotation at

honestly think you need at least threebecause here's the deal. If people don't
fans don't get this, and thisis why I don't like playing man to
man that much. When you getBaryon Brown on a nine route, which
is a goal route down the sidelineand he runs full speed and they don't
throw it to him, and knowwhat he does. He taps his him

and he goes to the sideline,A new guy comes in. Know what
happens to the corner. He runsback to the line of scrimmags. He
gets the new guy fresh. Soyou always gotta get at least three to
four so you can rotate series orevery other series of two series at the
time. So I think you reallydo need three to four. And I'm
I'm a big fan of JQ andI've been saying, I said you Phillis
was gonna be the break up guylast year, so I'm not shocked by

him. And then you got Harriston, Harriston, you got Robinson. I
think you got enough guys there toreally make a difference and get us back
to when we had Lonnie Johnston,west Street and my guy Baby. When
I think it's so underrated in thisprogram, I think getting back to at
least three high end guys. Highend guy's gonna make a real difference with
his defense. Well, I'm allfor that. I'm here for that.

I don't not really worried about ourdefense. I think everything hinges on the
offense line. So that's why Ithink. That's why I'm going to get

out promptly by three very nice pleasantwomen in uniform. They were nice.

different treatment. He went over there. He was detained as well, but
he was treated a little nicer becauseapparently Jack Pilgrim was not at Rupperina.
The game they're playing is not arep arena. Young Jake is running around
checking doors. Here comes the uniformover there. What are you doing,
buddy, I I'm looking for I'mlooking for my friend. I need to

get a message to him. Well, what is your friend doing? Well,
he's supposed to being there playing.Nobody's playing basketball here. So just
to let you all know that ourtrusty in turn Jake did run over there
to try to catch up with Jack, and Jack was not there. He
did get detained and got removed promptlyand without any without any scars, Yeah,

without any scars. He's here,he's healthy, he's fine. So
if anybody's concerned about it, ifyou've seen a guy who you know being

my comment is about the basketball schedule. I saw where they scheduled a game

Penn's home court is the Pilestra.The polester is a college basketball history museum.
That's where that game should be beingplayed at the playing in the Sixers
Arena. See, it's eighteen thousandpeople. What do they show it up?
Maybe halfway? It's like, mybest comparison would be to play at
Butler. You would want to seethat game at Hinkle. That would be

awesome instead of playing in the oh, whatever the name of the arena where
the in the app the Pacers playand don't forget the name of that arena.
So I'm just I'm saddened that they'renot playing in the Pilester. If
you guys have never heard been inthe Polester, if you like college basketball,

against North Harden, But the gamegot canceled because of the lightning. But
Corbyn's got a lot of starters backon both offense and defense. They've added

I think one of the better playersin the state of Kentucky that probably doesn't

but it's not sure. I'm notsure it's gonna gonna be a high
level athletic. Yeah, if youget a chance to see Corbyn, I

football playoffs that Kentucky basketball plays italmost every Friday night. They got a

And I mean, I know there'sdifferent reasons for it, maybe sometime,
but could you play at least oneof them on a Thursday or one
of them on a Sunday or somethinglike that. And just I know you
don't play on Saturday because the UKfootball is playing, but this seems like,

you know, if it's being afootball state like it is, you
could stay away from that. Butthat's just a little nitpicking thing I have.
It probably doesn't impact at ten.It's a lot. But if you're
just kind of a casual fan andyou have your choice, I can stay
home on a November night and watchUK basketball on TV, or I can
go on out to the high schoolfootball game. I think it probably hurts
a little bit. But that's justnot a little little pet peeve Ben does

how big of a a city,football city, Baton Rougees or the state
of Louisiana in general. But Larrydoesn't like the UK basketball is having games
on the same day that the highschool is trying to culminate their season with

real football fans that's two early itseems to be worried about basketball. If
we had the state championship game,you are not going to the Kentucky versus
East West Centenary College at ruh.I'm just I mean, if you're a
true football state, that game needsnothing to you. You just watch it

on tape the leg or or watchit on YouTube. There's no way I'm
missing the state championship football game.Well, maybe maybe that's why I need
to approach it. Then then actuallyit's hurting UK basketball going school football playoffs.
Okay, I think I'm gonna changemy thinking on man, Okay,
don't mind. So when we seethose early season attendance figures that maybe the
games aren't sold out, now Iknow why. Okay, thanks man,

Okay, I feel better now.And we are efforting to find out where
Jack the pilgrim is at. Idon't know if he's in the ice bath.
Maybe Jack gave him forty over there, so maybe you know he's iceing
his arm. I ain't no telling. Well, he's not as fast as

you are not running up for her, You're racing the person in front of
you. And with having that thatthat target on Fimpty bowls back. I
think propel alexis to her pr andthat's what's so great about track man is
is you can also come out ofyourself and do things that you didn't think

medal to the to the country,it was amazing. Yeah. The then
unfortunately she found women get disqualified forbad baton exchange. Yeah, that was
uh. You know, sometimes insports you can you can not have that

around and all she had to dowas just stop. It just advanced.
All she had to do was stop, and I think her focus wasn't quite
there, and when she hit thatthat rail, I think it threw her
off. And once once that happened, she lost I guess space of where
she was and that was just thatthat hurt more than the adulation of winning

the gold medal, because she alsolet a team down in the finals.
I don't think there was no chancethat we were not gonna win a gold
medal. Yeah, so she wouldhave came should have came home with two
