not in a good way. EricRimmer over here, my co host,
and then we have producer Brian.Hello, Maggie. Okay, so here's
(00:38):
what we have coming up on tonight'sshow. Oh wow, it is very
raspy. I know it's I lostit smoking again. Wow, I'm thinking
about it. I'm thinking about it. We're going to talk about my fourth
of July fiasco. We're going totalk about the Spring Valley swap meet,
(01:00):
the highs and the lows. BecauseI went and sold on Saturday, I
noticed that there were some things thatmust have come back from swap meat.
Oh, I'll talk about them. No, those are things we didn't even
sell the swamp meat. They wereso bad. They're just out of my
curve right now for someone to take. Yeah, we're gonna talk about what
(01:21):
just happened, our sign one offwhatever, I you know what, I'm
like, I'm in the mood rightnow where like nothing is gonna fa Oh
went back on anyway, Charlie's weddingis less than two weeks away. I
have wedding preps, stories and twothings to show you so far. Yeah,
the wedding, Yeah, we're going. We'll be there. I'm thinking
(01:42):
fireworks. I just have some thingsto show you, and I don't want
you to be too critical. Arewe going to get hammered on the plane?
On no airport? The airport?Yeah? Okay, cool? We
have double D news, right wedo. We have your fourth of July,
which was give me one word describingyour fourth of July before we talk
about it. Fun. Oh wellthat's good. Thank you guys so much
(02:08):
for tuning in, and really appreciateyou watching on YouTube live of course on
Instagram live. My hair is superbig tonight because my stylist friend gave me
one of these like clip on hairthings that make your hair fat in the
back. I was going to say, I know, well, now I
(02:29):
didn't do a good job putting itin because I did it super fast.
But see, we're trying to geta wedding hair situation under control because I
don't really know what I'm going todo, so I don't know what do
you guys think? Is it toomuch? Isn't too much? It's a
lot of hair. Well, whatif I did like this, if I
put like some in front some isit just fat in the back? Too
(02:50):
fat in the back? Actually thelower half, that's the fat part.
It's to Vegas show girly for awedding. You know what this is my
this is the issue I'm having. We'll talk about the wedding. We'll talk
about the wedding pipe in a minute. It looks so hairy. It's fun
having this much hair, but like, who in reality has as much hair
except for very few. For once, I think you're hairrier than I am.
Iruly, from your elbows to likethe top of your head is just
(03:13):
all hair. I know. Okay, okay, here some of the back
all right, before we could getinto all of this stuff, including the
fourth of July from hell and I'mtrying to stay positive, I got all
my negativity out on other people today, So I'm sorry'd be a little bit
more. Thank god we were notwant to know the people. Did I
(03:36):
call you an alternate for negative reasons? No? So now I can simply
tell the story without being super angryabout it. I'm glad you didn't.
If you had called me, Iwouldn't have answered. So you don't answer
on the weekends, holidays, anything, because you consider me not a friend,
you consider me work. When doyou text me about friends stuff and
not work stuff? Probably never? Now, actually take it back, if
(04:01):
you called me, i'd pick up, even if it was on the weekends,
would you really probably because you'd thinkit was maybe kind of urgent or
something because I never call you.Yeah, no, you wouldn't. No,
yeah, I would really probably don'ttry it because well now I will
call it. Hey, Brian, can you get this ready for Monday?
Please? Da da da da.No. See, you'd be mad if
I called you any answered if nothappened. Yeah, if I picked up
(04:25):
on the weekend, it wasn't reallyimportant, then I would not stop picking
up. I know, And thendid I call? I don't even you
know what I don't even know whatday it is. This has several times.
Don't remember it. Wow, Andit's not because don't take it personally.
You'll see why in a minute.It's all good. But it's a
crazy story. But first we needit's a good thing that I didn't burst
(04:48):
into tears. It's a good thing. That you weren't late tonight because I
would have started crying. It's justa matter of time before something breaks the
that snaps me and then the tearswill stall. Those are my favorite nights.
No, what was your text tome today? And I was like,
I'll be there around seven forty five. If that, I say,
(05:08):
Eric, listen, if I haveto start the show by myself tonight,
I will start crying. I'm justwarning you. It's not a threat,
it's just is what it is.And I wanted to tell you, and
he's like, what did you say. You said around, Oh it's seven

and we all meet there at thebeautiful Bay. We walk around and it's
all for we raise money for researchfor SCAD. What is SCAD? What's
(08:03):
the cause? SCAD is spontaneous coronaryartery dissection. It's a little known and
poorly understood cause of a heart attack. Most patients are young, healthy and
active women who do not have thetypical risk factors of art disease. Although
less common, it can affect mento SCAD, can reoccur, and can
be fatal. Research is needed toidentify the causes and the best treatment options.
(08:26):
SCAT is the number one cause ofheart attacks and women under fifty,
pregnant women and new moms, andthere needs to be more research. And
that's why there's a walk where they'reraising money. So if you would like
to walk with us, walk withme, I would love it. Go
to Laura Kane after Dark dot combecause all the links are on there.
You'll see it. It's scadad Olfive k. It's September seventh. It's
(08:48):
going to be a beautiful Saturday morningon Crown Point Park on Mission Bay on
the east side. So come out. Here's their little logo this year.
Be very good. It's very cute. It's a really cool fun. Yes
we do, Yes, we do. So thank you for being part of
Laura Kane after Dark until the walk. Okay, let me take a deep
(09:09):
breath drinking now please cue the fireworks. No, I have actually sound effects.
Oh you too, fantastic. Nowwhat I've said, we sound like
gunshots. I know they do.But at the end people are cheering,
(09:31):
and that's the reason why. Well, this is the best I can do.
Okay, Now, I worked everyday last week because a lot of
people took time off and I'm filling. So you know, they called me
and I work, and I'm gratefulfor that. So I worked. On
the fourth of July. I hada split shift. I worked from five
(09:52):
to nine, and it was likedeadly because there was nothing except for the
Coronadal parade to talk about. PrepFrom five to nine there was like no
traffic. But then from three toseven I was also on in the afternoon,
so I knew that I was goingto see the fireworks with a friend
who was staying at the Sheridan acrossfrom the airport. Great place to watch
(10:16):
the fireworks, cool hotel, newlyremodeled. And I invited my roommates,
both of them, and one ofmy roommates, Antonio, invited his son
and his son's wife who's pregnant.Great, we'll all go down together when
I get off work. So Iget home about seven thirty. Now I'm
(10:37):
kind of a I'm kind of anidiot because all afternoon all I was doing
was reporting how bad traffic was gettingdown to the park in Daro, in
the airport and Mission Beach, Pebee, you know, Mission Bay, all
that cornatdo. But instead I justdecide, no, we're all going to
pile in the car all drive becausewhen I got home, two people who
(11:00):
will remain nameless were so drunk. And that's okay, fine, do you
you do you, but they werebeing obnoxious and I had just worked eight
hours that day and I was nothaving it, so Mommy wasn't. So
I was like, you know what, I'm just gonna let the slide,
even though they wanted to take drinksand drink them in the car on the
(11:24):
way, and I'm like stupid,I know. And no matter what I
was saying, this is like, you know, drunk people are like sometimes
you can't reason with people, right, okay, And they were like come
on, and they were making theywere being obnoxious in the car and I'm
trying to just like hold it together, I know, that's what I was
(11:46):
saying. I'm like, no,no, no, this is not happening.
I'm putting my foot down. SoI drove and my roommate, my
other roommate was just super. Shelooked really pretty cause she was going to
meet a guy down there, oh, which ended up not happening. Oh,
I'm sure we'll hear that later.Yeah, I know. So there
was a bunch of us, andthen the pregnant wife was also in the
(12:07):
car and she was getting mad becauseher husband was one of the wasted ones.
So we're supposed to meet our friendwho's staying at the Sheridan at the
lobby so she could give us aparking pass. Well, boy, oh
boy, was the traffic terrible. We left at seven point thirty. It
(12:28):
was five minutes to nine, andwe were still like not quite at the
Sheraton, like kind of a littlebit far. There go the fireworks they're
going off. I'm like, okay, well, guys, guess what we're
going to be watching him from thecar. So I said, you know
what, why don't you all getout, go across the street, enjoy
(12:48):
the fireworks. I'll meet you atthe Sheridan and the lobby when it's all
said and done. I'm trying tocall my friend at the Sheridan. No
answer, no answer, no answer. I don't know what room she's in.
I knew something was wrong. I'mlike, what's going on. I
get there, I pay i'd valettwenty bucks. Of course, there's no
parking because it's packed down there,so I'm like, please just let me
(13:11):
park the car. So I needto go in and check on my friend
who's staying here, and he's like, okay, so I give him twenty
bucks whatever. I go in there, I go to the front desk.
I go I need to talk toone of the people, one of your
people who were staying here. What'sher name? I give them her name
and they go, oh, there'sbeen an incident. I'm like, oh
(13:33):
my god. I knew it.I knew it. I knew something had
happened. I'm like, oh jeez. Meanwhile, fireworks are over and there
the lobby is absolutely packed with people, and there was like some priest convention
going on, so there's like allthese priests like milling around. It was
craziness. So I was like, okay, well, I'm like her friend
(13:54):
and I'm supposed to be staying withher tonight and I'm worried about her.
Can you please just tell me?Like, can I call her room?
Can we can I get a holdof her, and you know, so
the late the girl that does wasreally really nice, and she goes,
well, here's what happened. Shecame down to the lobby and laid on
the couch and fell asleep for anhour. She security came to wake her
(14:20):
up. She didn't have her ID, she didn't have her purse, she
didn't have her keys, she didn'thave her hotel key, she had nothing.
So security she managed to sit likeconvince them, hey, I'm actually
staying here. So they I escortedher back to her room. So I'm
like, I've got to see her, see if she's okay. Turns out,
(14:43):
so I go into her room. She's awake. I said, what
happened? She goes, I don'tknow, shecause I completely blacked out.
She wasn't drinking, she had nodrugs. She I mean, and I
trust her when she tells me that. But I also scoured the room just
in case there was nothing. Somethinghappened where she completely lost her memory.
(15:07):
She came down, fell asleep, woke up, didn't know where she was,
didn't know where her purse was, nothing. So I'm like, okay,
first things first, Then the drunkpeople come back into the now are
the meeting us in the lobby. The one wants to get more alcohol.
The wife who's pregnant is crying, she wants to go home. The other
(15:28):
one is being a jerk. I'mgetting I'm like, okay, this is
a nightmare. Like what the heck? I go all right? My other
roommate who has her wits about her, the guy who ditched her. She's
a little sad, but she wasreally sweet. She does all drive everybody
home, You stay here with yourfriend. Okay, So my friend is
(15:50):
now staying with me for a coupleof days so I can take care of
her because we don't know what happened. We don't know what happened. It
was scary because she she was reallyscared. Like the next day she's like,
I don't know. So luckily, luckily, there was that priest convention
going on. Because somebody so nicelypicked up her purse or found her purse
(16:14):
laying somewhere wherever she had put it. It was in the lost and found
her keys were there. She hadlike five hundred dollars in a walley,
all still there. Oh my god, so lucky. So we got all
that back good. So that wasso I spent the night there and then
I had to go to work thenext day from there, no big deal,
(16:34):
but like so that started off thatkind of like was like the pinnacle
of my fourth So that was myfourth of July. Super fun. Then
I worked the next day for eighthours. Then I got home that night
and had to sort through stuff becauseguess what I did on Saturdaday. I
(16:56):
went to the Spring Valley Swapped Meetto sell all the crap that had been
piling up in my garage. Ididn't want to do it because I was
so incredibly tired. I was stillmad at two people, really mad,
but I one of those people waswith me, and I'm like, all
right, we gotta get this done. We got to bang it out,
we gotta clean out. Let's doit. Boom, everything's said and done.
(17:21):
It was super hot. We're inSpring Valley, We're in one like
little space. I had to buyan easy up at Walmart, like at
ten o'clock at night the night before. You know what an easy up is.
It's like that canopy thing that youcan put up over like when you
go to the beach and stuff.Anyway, everything said and done. I
mean I was selling things for fiftycents that had tags on them that said
(17:44):
thirty four dollars that were brand new. I did not care. I'm like,
okay, dollar, fifty cents, what do you have? I don't
even care you want that? Takeit? Like I was not caring.
But I still made almost eight hundredbucks. Oh my god, I know.
Well I had two really good pairof Nike, two pair of Nikes
and a new pair of Adidas thatI sold. But here's the trick for
(18:06):
the swat meat, if you everwant to know this. In the beginning,
right in the beginning, there areswarms of people. I don't know
if they are like a group ofpeople, but they will ascend upon you
and they'll start going through your stuff, and before you know it, things
had been stolen. Things are gone. Like my last time I was there,
my Nikes were stolen. So Iput only one shoe out and the
(18:29):
other shoe I kept in the car. So I was like, oh,
so everybody kept picking up the Nike. Where's the other Nike? Oh do
you are you interested? Because thoseare forty five dollars and they're almost brand
new, and those are like it'sgood. Yeah, so that's a good
tip just in case you went up. So anyway, so that was that.
So then and then I worked thenext day. So hence the voice.
This is why my voice is gonebecause I've been talking, talking,
(18:51):
talking so much. So anyway, that's been part of my week. I'll
tell you the rest. But howwas your fourth of July? It was
good? Okay, like, let'sbring it up a notch bes since mine
was not so fun. I sawa couple of fireworks, but from the
driver's seat of a car, minewas I did not see. Well,
no, I take that back.I went up to La Okay, and
(19:15):
I on the ride up on Wednesdaynight, they were people were letting fireworks
off, and one went off onthe freeway right next to my car,
and I almost had a heart attack. There is an area, my sister
(19:36):
told me where fireworks are legal. It's Rialto. Yes, it's in Riverside,
and it's not really legal. There'sjust a place that sells them.
She said. She drove through fromlaw Persenna through Rialto and it was like
a war zone. Well yeah, and then I got real quiet, like
it was weird. La has ahuge firework problem every year and they all
everyone goes down the riverside buys outall the fireworks in law. It was.
(20:00):
It was crazy and they I meanI had the windows down and it
went off right on the passenger sidewindow. I thought it was a gunshot.
I thought somebody had shot. Whattime did you leave on Wednesday?
By the way, I left atseven pm? Okay, so that was
(20:25):
probably a better time to drive, was that. That was one of the
worst days to drive. Yeah. No, I got up there in an
hour and a half. Okay,so it was super you got there.
It was after the traffic jam becauseit was horrible on Wednesday and horrible on
Sunday night. I'm sure it wasterrible. It was like a four hour
wait at the border, like becausepeople went on to Mexico. It was
a nasty but okay, so youget up there, got up there.
(20:48):
Marla was down here. So Istayed up there and went to Warner Brothers.
I did the Warner Brothers tour.Oh that was really, really fun.
There's a whole thing on. Ithought about you because there's a whole
thing on Indiana Jones and Raiders ofthe Lost Arc and at Warner Bros.
(21:10):
No, sorry, that was atthe Academy Awards Museum. Okay, I
was gonna say, I would sayWarner Bros. Has no stake in that.
No, it was at the AcademyAwards. It was a visium.
I got to hold an oscar.Oh wow? Oh did I send you
the video? No? You didn't. But aren't they heavier than you'd imagine?
Heavy? So heavy? Aren't theyplayed with real gold? Aren't they?
Yes, they're like the real Yeah, they're about eight pounds eight or
(21:33):
more. Yeah, it's like aweight. But yeah, it was really
fun. And then I came back, turned around and came back. What
day did you come back on?Saturday? Okay, good day to drive?
All right. I had to goback to work, so okay.
So I'm a couple of things Iwant to show you guys before you get
to your double D because Charlie's wedding, like I said, cue the wedding
(21:56):
music, two weeks away. God, Brian, We're gonna have so much
fun. No, next week, next week, I'm giving you guys a
fashion show because I've thought, no, I need Hey, Eric's stylist of
this family, and I need hisopinion. I know, but I have
(22:17):
already purchased from Amazon one two, three, four dresses. Okay, because
like we talked about last week,we can't it's very delicate what I'm going
to wear. But it's casual,like Brian said, it's an it's a
summer wedding, so it can bemore casual. So I've like, I've
picked out a few things and I'mgoing to try him on, take pictures
(22:37):
and then show you, guys, and I want you to tell me what
you like the best. Ask thenyour son, the groom and his bride
what they think. Well, no, I want to surprise them, but
what you're wearing, Yes, Ithink I don't you know what. Charlie
won't care because he just won't care. I don't think Maya will care.
(22:59):
Is I don't know if that's sosurprise they're waiting for on their wedding they're
like, oh my god, what'syour mom going to wear? They don't
they're not going to be thinking aboutthat at all, like they have plenty
to think about them. Well anyway, I mean, I don't know.
So we're losing the hair though, okay, so no no fat hair,
no okay, so no fat hair? All right? Good to know?
Good know, that's one thing, all right. So I have four dresses.
(23:21):
One I felt was an hour ertwo from Temu. I know,
I know there were some No they'regonna rip like while you're up there.
They were so affordable and they lookedso perfect. You can't pay for quality,
though, well, you can't payfor quality, and you did not
I know. I went Amazon andTamu, like I didn't even go like
(23:41):
fancy. I I think I needto like switch it up and maybe just
spend some money on something really nice. I think so because there's something.
But I want to show you theshoes. So maybe we should go down
to where outlets? What outlet wouldhave like a dress? Appropriate? Do
they have like a Carl? Idon't think I want to spend that kind
(24:06):
of money. I don't want tospend a whole lot. It's like find
a whole lot MiG over one hundredbucks. Okay, you can find something
under one hundred, of course youcan, all right. Well, like
I said, we could go toH and M Money our money Aritzia.
(24:27):
Maybe I've never been in there, but my daughter got a job there for
one day. My girlfriend goes inthere. Every time we're at you TC
and I yet to see her buyanything there. Oh is it expensive?
I mean yeah, but not crazy. But I don't know if she just
never buys anything but she loves it. Okay, So I'm going to show
you the shoes that I've bought sofar from Amazon. Now, let's let
me preface this before you rag onthem. It is a garden party,
(24:52):
evening, outdoor covered wedding, casual, super chill, Portland wedding, so
many so I'm just trying to giveyou the voice. Let's just see the
show. I don't like those.I feel like tears already, well off
my eyes. Just to show theshoe, to show the shoe, I'm
(25:15):
gonna start playing the right. Sohere we go. Next week, I'm
going to show you more things. Now, aren't these super cute? They
have a little flower. They're clearbecause I have a couple of pink dresses
that I'm thinking about. It hasa little flower, garden party flower?
Or are these like stripper shoes?I don't think i'd call them stripper shoes.
(25:37):
They're interesting, aren't they. Theylook like the plastic dress up shoes
that used to come with the Disneyplay sets. Ye. Okay, so
that's an option that I may ormay not. I'm gonna say, are
you going to Vito? Those? They're not that bad. They're not bad,
they're fine. I'm so indifferent tothem. Yeah, okay, these
(25:59):
you probably will be to you. Then these are just very general. They'll
go with anything. They're neutral, but they also have a little bit of
flower detail on them. What doyou think of these? I actually think
those are better. Yeah. Ijust wanted something fun and floral, and
they're like, look, this isa danceable this is a danceable heel.
Is this more momly? This heelheight? The other ones they're not stripper
(26:23):
shoes, but they're definitely not momshoes. M Yeah, I have to
see them with an outfit. Yeah, okay, well so these are my
this is I don't like that theheel looks like the bottom of Martini glass.
Those are retired stripper shoes. Ineed more support. I do like
(26:44):
this would be perfect. I willthat's a lot of support. And then
these are nice and low so Iwon't be like killing myself, and they
have little flowers on them. Allright, So next week we'll talk more
about that and I'll tell you.Okay, so those are the shoes that
I wanted to show you. Allright, maybe you should just wear one
of each like that. Hm hmm, okay, is this on the left
(27:07):
party on the right. There yougo. I went shopping. I was
you wind up in? Where didyou shop? Diesel? What mall?
Oh or outlet center? No?It was somewhere now I I can't It
was Diesel diesel store. Okay, you get shoes, I did. Eric.
(27:30):
You've got to stop buying shoes.Oh, they're so cool. How
many did you buy? One pair? Are those them? No? What
color are they? They're like acool like an iridescent blue, the whole
shoes. They're really cool. Okay, every time you buy a pair of
shoe, you have to get ridof another pair of shoes. You know,
that's the game. What shoe sizedo you wear? I'm an an
(27:51):
eleven? Okay, you can giveto me. Okay, Oh okay,
here we probably don't wear the sametype of shoes. I don't think you
do. Know you wear spikes? You wear spikes the back of your shoes.
I do. If I had some, I would, If I'm just
kidding, I wouldn't I have likemaybe five pairs of shoes and two of
them. Of them get worn?Give him them, Brian, you know
what I think some of those are. He'll be like, He'll be like
(28:14):
whoa like the red ones and thecrazy colored ones as used to be before.
Okay, so I did that.I've already started writing his speech or
his toast. Oh, speaking ofwhat, I have a little testimony for
you from about what about you? It's from you? Yes? Why?
(28:41):
Because I felt like you needed it? Really, I'm worried. Now,
Okay, this could either be bad. He could either be being sarcastic right
now, facetious or real. I'mnot sure. Right, let's see.
Oh, I know what this is? Do you? I know what he's
done GBT one. Oh, heprobably wrote me a poem? Do you
(29:02):
write me a poem? It's calleda tribute to Laura Kane. Oh,
okay, here we go. Okay, thank you. I need this today.
I'm gonna be disappointed. Now,don't read it. I'm not going
to read it. I won't readit. Sits they're in grin. Today,
I want to take a moment toshine a spotlight on someone who has
been the heart and soul of ourpodcast, my incredible host, Laura Kane.
(29:23):

excellence is evident in every detail, from meticulous research to thoughtful preparation. But
beyond her professional prowess, it's Laura'sgenuine kindness and unwavering support that make her
an exceptional co host and friend.Laura, thank you for your boundless energy,
your brilliant insights, and most importantly, for being the amazing person you
are. Here's too many more episodesfilled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable
(30:10):
moments together. Well, I didn'tlike it. All I typed in,
was Laura Kane, this is thebest thing ever? Are you just discovering
change? Yes? I've never usedboy. You didn't say that I did
a podcast. You didn't say LauraKane after Dark. You didn't say any
of those things. I just said, I just typed in Lauracane. That's
freaky. I know. Wow,oh my god, chat GBT, I
(30:33):
know. See now the secrets areyou could do you write a poem to
anyone, tell usually by Well, that one I started thinking, there's no
way he's going to learn how touse chat GBT. That one was definitely
wrote. Okay, anyway, quethe Double D News Music because it's your
(30:56):
time to shine. My friend thanfor that, and I want to give
a out out to Renee. Okay, yes, she's one of our listeners
and she's fabulous. Where'd you seeher? While she is the mom of
a friend of mine. Oh soshe listens to what Renee hi? Renee
Hi? Lily Allen has joined onlyfans with just feet pictures. Who's is
(31:22):
that English singer? Oh? Orshe? I thought she was an actress
though there was a whole website justfor feet pictures. Yeah, well she's
joined only fans with just feet pictures. That seems more degrading than just selling
your nudes in a weird way.I think we should just well, we'll
talk about that on Thursday, becausewe have a whole business plan we do
well, no, we don't weneed to discuss the business plan I need.
(31:45):
We'll do this on Thursday. Theonly fans thing you're going to be
excited about this what Margot Robbie ispregnant? Oh yay? Who's her?
Man? Some just some regular guy? Oh I love that million of single
men are crying right now. No. No. Elton John was at a
shoe store in France. Did youhear about this? No? And he
(32:07):
walked in and said, do youhave a public restroom? And the guy
said, no, we don't.So he asked one of his security.
He was with his two sons, his security, and he asked his security
for a water bottle and he wentover to the corner of the store and
peed in the water bottle. Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta
go. Wait Elton John. Andthe clerk did not know who he was.
(32:28):
He had to google him rocket Man, and I guess his aim wasn't
great and he got some on thefloor and he had security clean it up.
Oh my god. Okay, letme ask you something. If you
saw him peeing in a corner andyou saw that he splashed a little bit,
would you go call it that pee? Because John, it's Elton John's
(32:50):
peak. Hell no, no,I'm just I don't know if you're I'm
just hey, I throwing a questionout there. Hell no, I took
you know, the edge from youtwo his cigarette butt and I kept it
in a little plastic bag you forthe longest time with the piece of the
Berlin wall. My dad's ashes gone. Oh my god, I lost all
(33:12):
those things, they're gone. AndMadonna's water bottle that she threw out I
grabbed. Oh my god, Ikept it with me all night. You
left it on a bar or something. Yep, bingo. You not a
tragic person. I am, Ireally I am. And that's okay tragic,
but something else, something tragic.Speaking of Madonna, her tour was
(33:32):
the biggest money maker of twenty twentyfour, more than Tailor's. Does she
That can't be right. I knowthat doesn't seem correct. Taylor Swift tore
made over like like a several billiondollars. While they in defense of that,
they said they have not totaled allof Taylor's because she's still on tour.
So I don't know. That's justthat she were Madonna's tickets that much
(33:57):
higher? Is that why expensive?I don't know. Anybody who went to
that concert. I mean, doyou No, I know one or two
people that went. I don't knowanyone that still listens to Madonna. I
do. I only know one personthat still listens to Madonna. I still
love her. No, I knowyou love your Madonna. And then apparently
(34:21):
puff Daddy is selling his mansion forseventy million dollars. So what is did
he didn't they rate it again orsomething? No, what's going to happen
to him? Well, we'll findout when he gets charged. Okay,
if he gets charged. Yeah,so he hasn't been charged. He's not
in jail. They just they needto Prosecutors need to come up with evidence,
(34:43):
and they need to go through allwhat they found and stuff they're probably
cataloging they found. I'm sure theytook, I mean just a metric ton
of stuff for sure, and allthe information they took. I'm sure they're
just compiling a thing. And thenthen he'll go on trial, be charged,
go on trial. Then we'll seethis come up with enough stuff to
level charge. Just it could bethey don't find thing, then years later
they come up, they get somethingelse, and then they'll finally do charge.
(35:04):
This could be a long process. Now, somebody was talking to me
about this. I don't think itwas you, but they said, isn't
it interesting how Beyonce drops a newalbum h ghost Country? Did aything happens?
And her a jay z or?Yep? There, Well I talked
about that. Oh yeah, yeah, I see, I'm not remembering.
(35:28):
Yeah, what the heck? Itwent total? Am I I know?
So that's well, they probably justdon't want to even be associated with anything
that has to do with that.So yeah, they're stepping back. And
then yeah I heard they well youhad it first, but then it came
out that Ben moved out, Yes, and she is not wearing her wedding
ring. Now okay, just makethe announcement already, Okay, just make
(35:51):
the announcement. I also watched, well, I was in la I watched
a very really cool new show.Is it funny? Is it? If
it's wrong? Calm? I can'tNo, it's it's fun. You're probably
not gonna like it. It's thenew Eva Longoria produced show called Land of
Women on an Apple. Who's init? Anybody? Longoria? I'm in.
(36:14):
I'll pass. That's good now.See even you don't really like it.
No, I liked it. It'sit's I've only watched like the first
I think it's only three episodes inor something. Now. I like Eva
Longoria. Yeah, she was reallygood. She's really good in it.
Did we talk about the Gene Wilderdocumentary? No, it that Willie Walka
(36:34):
the original obviously, young Frankenstein justthe most beautiful, wonderful man. It
is a great documentary if you wantto see something great about a really great
talent who was just like a reallyawesome human being. He just died a
couple of years ago. Didn't hea while ago? Yeah? I think
it was like a while ago orsomething. Yeah, long yeah, Oh,
(36:59):
I thought all yeah, oh,and I loved Gilda Radner, I
know, and then he had awife after Guilder Roundner. But yeah,
it's it's really really touching. Okay, I'll watch it. And the Willie
walker stuff, because that's my favoritemovie of all time. Was so fascinating
because he did it completely different thanthe directors wanted him to, and that's
(37:20):
why it became That's why it wasso scary when you were young and you
watch it. There were some scarymoments because he made it scary and he
did it surprisingly so to the actors, like they didn't know he was gonna
like lash out at that last scenewhen Charley doesn't is about to leave and
he goes you wrote the rules. You da da da da. I remember
he screams at him before he givesback the gobstopper. They didn't expect that,
(37:44):
and so their reactions are like authentic, like whoa, whoa, this
is what what is he doing? He's just so it was so good.
So I really highly recommend it,and I don't usually recommend warm and fuzzy
things. Sixteen by the way,Oh okay, oh twenty sixteen. Okay,
Oh my god, I'm trying tothink of there's anything else. I
(38:04):
was just going to tell you somethingelse. Where's my gift? You keep
threatening me. I think I keepforgetting it. It's okay, don't worry
about it. But you're gonna loveit, Okay, I'm sure. I
am. Oh. I know. When I was at the on the Warner
Brothers tour, our tour guide wasgreat. Do you walk it or does
there busses? No, it's ait's a tramp. It like a little
(38:29):
bus, you know, and thenyou get on and off and our tour
guide was really good, and shesaid that if you were to list all
of the shows that Warner Brothers putout, all the shows and all the
movies, it would take you abouta week to list them all. Dude.
So I went into Wikipedia and youcan see from the time Warner Brothers
(38:57):
opened their studio and started putting outand then TV shows and it goes on
for miles. Wow, like itit's you know, I don't know if
Warner Brothers did this show, butI saw an Instagram post today that they
finally have explained what the ending ofLost was all about. And I didn't
(39:19):
click on to like read the story. But it's finally out. No,
that's it's been out. It's justnot impressive. What it is. That's
a clickbait headline. No, theending is like, it's been explained.
It's just not really just disappointing thatthey were all dead in the first place.
Is that it's like a weird timetravel thing in multiverse. It was
just incredibly disappointing. Well, okay, clickbait. Fine, I clicked on
(39:42):
it was where did you see thisarticle? Instagram? Yeah, I'd like
the Daily Mail. Oh yeah, one of those kind of Instagram posts.
Yeah, no, everyone knows whatLost's about. That's why it's unpopular,
the ending at least. Oh okay, do you know do you know who
Jesse Jane is? Do you knowwho Jesse is? She? Yeah?
Do you know who she is?Brain? I think I've heard the name.
(40:02):
So she was one of those.I mean, she was beautiful and
it was all over the news.A couple of months ago. They somebody
did a wellness check on her andshe lived in like Kansas or something somewhere
in the Midwest, and they foundher and her boyfriend dead in their home
and they they just released the toxicologyresults and they both died from fentanyl and
(40:30):
cocaine use. Oh god, dangit, that damn fentanyl. But she
was one of those that crossed overand was in a ton of stuff.
She was in like Starsky and HutchEntourage all that stuff. Yeah. Yeah,
So there was a porn star thatdied not that long ago. I
don't know her name. She wasin the news though, but she would
like I think it was a Fennelover those. But she's been in a
coma for like months now. Ohyeah, yeah, I read about that
(40:52):
too. Yeah, so that allthat stuff's making the news now. Uh
okay, So coming up on ournext episode, Yes, I have another
bad acting audition to show you,but I want to explain to you what
why I auditioned for this thing? All right? And uh, it could
(41:15):
be I don't know, I don'tknow. We'll see you the worst yet,
I don't know. I'm not sure, or it could be the best
one I've seen it. Oh youhave wait wait, wait, wait,
Brian, just one word in theeye cock your right eyebrow if it's bad,
your left eyebrow if it's good.Oh hey, that's a good sign
(41:40):
to what eyebrows up. I'm notgoing to give you my thoughts. It's
got brief, very brief, incrediblybrief nudity, no millisecond long moments of
inspiration. Oh see, I'm gettingbetter. Okay. If Brian is giving
you a little bit of praise,Oh no, I'm just leaving out the
(42:00):
bad stuff. Okay. And Erichas a car update for us. I
did drama and this is so thestory about this car got I'm excited to
hear about the update. We somethinghuge is happening on August eighth, and
(42:22):
I need to tell you a littlebit about it. I'm not going to
give you a bunch of details, but it has to do with the Jeff
and Gers showground. Oh yeah, and I'm getting really excited and it's gonna
be amazing, So I'll give youmore information about that. Prius Brian has
a couple of things that he wantsto talk about. Let me let me
(42:43):
share one of them real quick.Something else for next time, Okay,
But I went to a concert yesterday, first real concert I've been to besides
Country Fest, which I did notgo my own will. And there are
a couple of things I hate aboutconcerts. First of all, I loved
it. I saw KZ Fan.Oh yeah. There are a couple of
things I hated out concerts. Oneis twentyish girls that come with their older
moms because they're crazy. What's wrongwith that? All right? There was
(43:09):
a mom and her daughter in frontof us, and I could tell that
the mom wanted to be just asyoung as your daughter because she was wearing
something very revealing, and she wasvaping and drunk, oh, which was
hilarious. And she's probably like inher fifties. Oh boy, I'm just
hilarious. And they were filming eachother dancing and then filming each other,
filming each other with how excited theyare. It was just your close mom
and daughter. Okay, cringey, right, all right? Anyways, what
(43:32):
I hate the most is I hatethat we still do that stupid thing.
Anytime there's a group setting where theygo, is everyone excited? I can't
hear you, and then you haveto cheer louder because the first time was
that is like lily. That makesme so mad every time I hear and
I don't have an explanation for it, and we should do that at Charlie's
wedding. I think it's the stupidestthing ever and I cannot stand it.
(43:54):
It's like patronizing. Okay, onthat note, what are your thoughts about
like when it and they when aconcert ends and they everybody, san diego,
you've been great, thank you somuch, blah blah blah. Of
course they haven't played the most popularsong, so you know they're gonna come
back out, so then you haveto scream and clap forever and it's still
dark. How do you feel aboutlike the multiple the what do they call
(44:16):
it? The encorese Yes, Idon't mind. Here's here's how here's how
kazy off and it's kind of funnyis that they put their guitar like they
just stopped playing their song. Onedude puts a guitar down and left a
note playing on it, so likea single guitar note played for four minutes
straight and it was loud, andthey just walked off. I even say
goodbye, So I'm like, okay, well they're coming back like obviously,
like they even say goodbye, andit's for like three minutes of just this
(44:37):
single guitar note playing, which waskind of interesting and also terrible. But
then they came back out and theyplayed their best song, so like,
so something different, I guess, but yeah, I was. They didn't
at least try to confuse everybody withthat fake you know, see you guys
next time, not gonna play ourbest song, right right right, Okay,
I'm gonna end this episode with onefinal question. Every other Monday,
(44:59):
I do segment on the show onRock one of five to three called the
Newly Show Game. I'm the host, and it's it sounds like really stupid,
but it's like harder than you thinkto host this particular It's taken me
a couple times to do it well. But there was a question on there
that I want to ask you guys, because I'm curious to know your answer.
(45:20):
If you could choose to be superrich for five years and then lose
it all a list celebrity status forthree years and then go to rehab or
live your life as it is now, what would you choose? And my
(45:43):
choice is to go to rehab afterbeing three years of uber famous, think
of all the fun things you coulddo. I'm gonna go back to rehabit
I'm become more famous than I everwas. I mean, that's the possibility
now. If I'm uber wealthy forfive years, you're super wealthy, and
then you lose it all if investit that was my question. You guys
(46:06):
don't ask me these like little whatif I lock it up bank? No,
the thing is you lose it somehow, you lose itspears. Would life
as it is now? Yeah?Yeah? Probably? Although would be fun
to be able to try drugs andgo to rehab, you know that.
I think the same thing is ascrazy as life is, as a struggle
(46:28):
it is sometimes I would not changea thing I love. I don't think
I want to be uber famous. No, I don't think you want.
I don't think one wants to beuber famous. Sure, you get to
go to all the anywhere you wantto go in the world. You have
all the money. You could haveheated floors, heated you know, towel
racks, you could wear anything tothe oscars. But and she's like,
(46:51):
and that's what I want to Actually, that is what I want. I've
been been there, done that.It was hard, it wasn't fun.
But you know, oh, Iknow that I wasn't. I'm not saying
I was suber famous. You werejust locally well known. Wow. Anyway,
I'm really happy I asked that question. Now you're here, and now
I'm here, Now you're now you'renow you're on your way to uber famedom.
(47:15):
Thank you. She's never been fartherfrom I like you to know.
I'm going to give you a littlelecture right now before we end the show.
People don't like it when you makefun of me for not for falling
from grace. I ended the showten seconds ago kidding. I didn't be
(47:35):
nice about that because I see it. I see a tear right here.
No that's not I don't see itpuddling right here. Like it's gonna like
it's gonna tip right over the edgelike a sink getting full. Let mean,
you know, I'll address that.Actually, let me say something real
quickly to all the people that andthe money stuff, like stop talking about
like you bring it up. Youdo too, and last my brother up
(47:55):
I stopped bringing up. Okay, thank you, and now you brought it
back up. Good job, Laura, Okla, I don't like it when
mommy and dad, mommy and sonare fighting running away from home. Let
me just say something. He's gothis backpack. Laura is to all you
people who love Laura listen to along time. Laura is not a celebrity.
She's not famous, and she hasfallen for grace. But that's okay
(48:16):
because she's something better. She's relatableand she is personable and real. She's
a real person, like I canmake fun of her like this, So
I think it's ten times better thancelebrity when I say something really mean.
Now, that was so nice.I just bought myself three more episodes of
(48:37):
Laura. Now he's going to belike really mean on Thursday. Well,
if Laura was a real celebrity, wouldn't be saying any of the stuff.
That may have been the nicest thinghe's ever said to me. And I
really appreciate that thing' that was actuallythat was really sweet in a not so
sweet way, but that's perfect comingfrom you. That is the nicest thing
I've ever said to anyone else.Okay, So Thursday again we have an
(49:04):
acting audition. Oh and I wantto I have a question for you guys
about something that I answers okay, and then Brian has something, and then
your car update. We've got tonsof things. Keep listening. We have
a new episode of Jobs on Thursday. Thank you so much for listening,
live, watching, live, listeningafter the fact, watching on our YouTube
channel. We sure appreciate it,we do. We don't take it for
(49:27):
granted. For and with that, love your podcast, and I love you.
I love you too. I wantto say something to you. Okay,
go for it. I love youso much. Thank you, I
love you too. You do?Yes, why that you sound so annoyed,
(49:50):
but because you just said that,I know, but I like to
say it more. Well, whywhy don't you be a little bit more
creative with your words? I'm allout of creative right now. You know
what to do? Right then youknow what to do, and now everybody
before your podcast. Love me,my sweet babies. Bye. I'll see
you guys in two weeks. Bye.
