Dennis Murphy talks with Andrea Canning about her episode, “Justice for Nikki.” In 2016, the body of 31-year-old mother Nikki VanderHeyden was found in a field days after she didn’t return home from a night out with friends. Detectives quickly closed in on someone close to her. Dennis and Andrea discuss the clues that made an innocent man look guilty and how technology helped lead investigators to the real killer. Andrea tells Dennis what made her jailhouse interview with Nikki’s murderer so memorable and shares a clip from her interview with another family heavily invested in Nikki’s case. Plus, Dennis and Andrea answer viewer and listener questions from social media.
