Mutt, Lady Godwin, and Brother Phileaux manage to get invited to this prestigious affair, but there's something odd lurking under the surface, as Gatsby has sinister plans that are not so great after all. Three months after the sun has returned to Lumineaux, the monster hunters settle into their new Dracula-less lives. Mutt provides sanctuary. Godwin schools the locals. Phileaux finds new ways to reach out.

A fight ensues in Frankenstein’s lab (inside Dracula’s castle [Outside Lumineaux]). But the monster hunters must be careful in order to keep their promise. Mutt gets strongarmed. Phileaux gets to bonkin’. Godwin argues over insurance.

As the hunters make their way through the winding rooms of Dracula's castle, they find strange artifacts, diplomatic residents, and exposition. Mutt sets a trap. Phileaux gets greasy. Godwin takes a turn on the dance floor.

Mutt, Lady Godwin, and Brother Phileaux each have their reasons to take an interlude to hunt down the meanest creature in the ocean: Moby-Dick. The monster is definitely not a metaphor, but is a big psychic whale who lives up to his name by being kind of an asshole.

The monster hunters infiltrate the Cult of the Buried Blood and learn the exact origins of their creepy namesake. Mutt fancies up his knife. Phileaux gets bubbly. Godwin gathers the night boys.
