Speaker 1 (00:01):
More fun than a roller coaster made it.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Welcome back to rovers morning Glory.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
The Shizzy is coming up, being just a few minutes
the news. What do you have on the way do she?

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Performers said that they're gonna stop step away.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
From the spotlight for a bit. I'll tell you who
it is.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
And it's kind of sad the reason that I think
she's doing it.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
I'll tell you the story next.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
All right, we'll get to that in just a moment.
Easy says, you used to read my text all the time,
or you used to read my emails. Now that I
text in, you haven't read a single one. What gives?

Speaker 4 (00:47):
What's up with that?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Maybe you need to I don't know. We get a
lot of texts that come in. I see. I tried
to read all of them, but there's a lot that
roll in. Somebody says that Dougie keeps leaving because she's pregnant.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Oh with my boyfriend, maybe his secret boyfriend me maybe
being of Dougie.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Here is someone who says this is destry. I think
is this person's name? Says four months ago, I came
across a girl on Tinder wearing an RMG zip up
jacket in her photo. I instantly swiped right. We matched

(01:37):
and we hit it off right away, talking about our
favorite radio show. Fast forward to Sunday, we decided to
take a trip from Youngstown to visit Dougie. She was
so nice and the donuts were tremendous. Thank you for
the photo. Here is a picture. Look at this drove

(01:57):
all away from Youngstown. OHI see Dougie in the donut truck.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
It's funny because I didn't know she was a listener,
and I kept staring at her because she had like
the prettiest hair, and she had these ray band which
I think she's wearing the RayBan sunglasses. She just I
kept looking at her like I could never pull She's
so pretty. I could never pull that look off ever,
and she is looking very pretty.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
So when they finally came up at the.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
End, all of our listeners are very pretty, very good looking. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
And I look pretty cute too, right.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
What is this thing that you're wearing? What is what
is that? I was a deer, you're in like a
dear pajamas like Onesie. Yeah, okay, and this is for Halloween.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Halloween, we get into the spirit my man, like, don't
you have fun dressing up.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
No, no, I never really liked dressing up. You guys
like dressing up. Of course I really liked it. I
know that we are going to dress up on the
show for Halloween. Now we haven't. We do have a
theme that we're going to do. I don't. I think
we're gonna draw straws off the air and and we
will not straws, but but things, items, whatever, and uh,

(03:17):
and we'll dress up on Halloween, which is what this Friday, right,
Friday is Halloween. So we have a theme set and
that's as far as we've gone. Last year we all
dressed up as each other. So members of the show
dressed as other members of the show. And then uh,
and then we will be in full costume this Friday.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
I'll bring some Christmas sale if you want.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I'm good. Charlie, keep that, keep that for yourself. You
love it so much, you can drink it.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Yeah, yeah, oh we should bring the cut water.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
You won't drink it, so but if you want, yeah,
you won't drink one.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I won't.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
I'm good.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Dan says he drove all the way from Huron to
Avon to taste Dougie's donuts. They were amazing. So we
drove all that way to get get your donuts, and
he says she was very friendly with everyone, even him.
He says, unfortunately we spoke for only a few seconds.

(04:17):
And Allison says, my son and I had the pleasure
of meeting Dougie. You looked adorable. The haters can bug
her off. She was as delightful and as sweet as
her donuts, and sent a picture of Ah, there she
is with Dougie dressed as a deer.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Looks so gross.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I did call doctor g doctor Goldsmith, like I after
the Friday leftovers. That camera right on my face, that ingle,
I know there's a camera on.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
My face every day.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yes, yes, there is.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
I texted his wife and I said, you got to
get me and I need botox.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
I as what.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
You need a whole new face talk.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
She can't get a whole new face. I need little something.
That camera right on your scary You need work too, Rover,
thank you. Speaking of Sunday yesterday, there was something very interesting.
There was a lovely family that came to visit and
they were there for quite some time. Yes, and she goes,

(05:15):
I just sent a message to Jeffrey to come out
here and I'm like, no, you didn't. She goes, watch
I go, he's not coming, You're leaving anyway, Like, don't.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Did you tell him you're here with your husband? She
walked away and she's you know, sure.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Enough, this guy hopping and poffing, dragging.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
His whole family in tow. Here comes Jeffrey. Immediately she
texts him, I don't know where the hell he was.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
He did, and he drives out and this girl's gone
by the time that.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
No, she came out, and she was very, very nice.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
She was with him and they were hanging out, and
the whole family was there.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Where were you guys?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Were you like ten minutes away from where were you?

Speaker 5 (05:56):
No?

Speaker 6 (05:57):
Wow, okay, my son found this us found like this
like outfit on on Marketplace, so we had to go.
We went to like uh like Eastern Downtown to pick
it up, you know, to pay for it everything downtown
to pick up an out What kind of outfit is it?

Speaker 1 (06:11):
If I may, you know, like the old rolls? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Okay, and so then like you said, train conductor, yeah,
like yeah, that style, and and then we yeah, and
then we drove and then okay, why why not? You know,
I got the whole family with me. I mean, my
wife wanted to see Doug. Why not, you know, just big, big,
a whole da out of us. So we drove from there,
we went to do She's Donut truck in.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
She was nice.

Speaker 6 (06:36):
She actually you know, messaged me said she would you know,
she would get some donuts for us, you know, and
very nice.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
This other woman was gonna get you donuts, so she
didn't message you.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Yeah, the other yeah, and yeah.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
It was my wife, wife by both kids, both of
my kids, and we took the hay ride around the
pumpkin patch and everything and it just like I said
it was.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
It was fun. It was a lot of fun. And uh,
my son. We were hoping that GEO might.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
Be there because we can get a new picture of
my son and Ga because.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I thought, said that is something we call the police over.
I thought. He said, I get it. I get it.
I understand new pictures.

Speaker 6 (07:20):
Right dah Yeah, open your ears, clean up, you check
your ear wax here my friend. Yes, And it was
it was still was. It was a good time. And
then Sunday we went to clam bag with my dad.
I took my I actually took my dad to a
clam bake and that was it.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
The listener.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
She was very swair and I did not have her
pay for their food, like I'm not she but she
was like ready to pay, which was really it was
nice for you know, I'll get.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
My My son liked the don'ts. My daughter liked them,
you know, and I liked him personally.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
And Geo was not there. She was getting ready for
a Halloween party. And I did call her and said,
you got to come up here, Please come up here.
I want you to take your picture with Tomash.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
But she didn't.

Speaker 6 (08:02):
True, she was the only picture I have too is
when you were little, yeah, at the arena, and I
was hoping. I was like, it'll be nice to get
it up. They had a picture of them, the two together,
you know, so I can do they can do the
class deal a side by how much they change.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
It's yeah, that's like if you have like if you
and I took a picture when we were like four
years old or whatever, and then twenty some years later,
whoa look at that? Like that's interesting.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
And they all went trick or treating many years ago together, my.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Daughter and his two kids at rovers house. Remember that, Well,
I'll never forget that.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
I opened up the door and they immediately just his
Jeffrey's kids just ran upstairs. So what they find right
into the bedroom, in the bedroom evidence of rovers private activities,
about of used rags.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Remember the pile of pubes that he leaves in his bathroom.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
He did the same thing, a pile of just.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
I think no, I think that this was some sort
of cleanups. I don't know what was going on. I
don't think it was a solo act because P two
was over there. I don't think it was.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
I don't think pile.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
I don't know what. I don't recall. Who knows. Maybe
it was from solo act. I don't know. But I mean,
I've never seen like you open up the door, and
like most of the time, if you open up the
door for somebody and their family, they have little kids,
Like they come in and oh, how are you, Oh
good to see you, Oh what's your name? How old

(09:41):
are you? Or whatever? Right, that's that's sort of the
standard outcome of when you open your door and you
allow somebody in. When I opened the door for Jeffrey,
I opened the door. I don't even say anything. The
two kids just immediately right past me, like my arm
is like they get dart under my arm from opening
the door and just right up the steps. It was crazy.

Speaker 6 (10:04):
I think this that the Rover, the size of the
Rover's house was a new environment for them. I think
they were just amazed by the size of the house
and what. But yeah, I remember my kids were a
little back.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
They were. Yes, nobody said I'm not I'm not complaining.
Sty in Youngtown, Ohio. You're on Roveryes morning Glory inod
morning sty Hello, guys. I also drove from Youngstown with
my fiance and my grandson to see Dougie this weekend.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
And that.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Lovely bee lady at the.

Speaker 5 (10:33):
Beginning in the first picture, had we took a picture
for her. I took several little quick snaps because I
like to let people pick. She took a picture for
us and did need.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Dirry why my eyes were closed anything? And she took
one picture, one picture, and that was it. So wait
this picture was and the girl that looks so I
came up yesterday. Okay, all right, Jeffrey was there Saturday,

(11:05):
all right, But no, no, but the one that the
pretty the very first couple, the very first couple. No,
Jeffrey wasn't in that the very first couple. You took
that picture yourself. That's that was you took.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I took that picture for her, and you made her
look beautiful, made sure the angle was.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Just wrong, the lighting was this one right, The lighting
is just right. She's got her body tilted towards the camera,
you know, got whatever angle on.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Uh huh.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
And and then sent in the picture she took for us.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Uh huh. Let me see either, clo.

Speaker 5 (11:44):
Really I should have.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
You know, we didn't even put that one up. Yeah, yeah,
all right, So she did not return the favor of
making you didn't know justice whatso? I understand you have
a right to be angry, all right, asked he. Thank you.
I appreciate it. Now. I don't know what this is about.

(12:12):
Somebody is claiming that somebody is claiming and I think
this is I think that this is a video that
Jeffrey's son put out or whatever on TikTok. I don't
think this actually happened.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
I think he may do you not know how to
do this anymore?

Speaker 1 (12:33):
What do you mean.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
Let him say something.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
About okay, okay, I don't want okay, all right, Jeffrey,
people are concerned about a video that your son posted
on TikTok. Why what are they concerned about? And what happened?

Speaker 6 (12:51):
I think my son is role playing or something. I
don't know what he does. I mean, I don't know
if it was in the car or what. No, I
didn't watch it, fortunately, So do you know what I
was talking about?

Speaker 3 (13:02):
No?

Speaker 1 (13:03):
All I know is the one video he put out
is the one where he does the nuts joke on me,
DoD You didn't you don't watch? So wait, did people
alert you to this? No? Nobody alerted me to this. Okay,
So what people are claiming? And I don't know if
this is I'm guessing it's not accurate. I don't know.
It says that people are and I haven't seen the video,

(13:26):
but they say that Jeffrey's son gets I don't know
if he actually has taken video of this, but he
gets in the car and drives to Oh sorry about this.
My chair arm trying to adjust it so it's comfortable,
my right, he guys all morning, but right now he's
got to adjust that that arm bress.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Okay, what day was this taken? Charlie? Do you know
what day the video was taken?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Are you to tell you? He was posted two days ago,
it says.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
So what's that Friday?

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Sure, Friday or two days? I guess Saturday. Today's Monday,
So I don't know Saturday, Friday, Friday or Saturday. Anyways,
So Jeffrey's son, who is I think he's twenty two
or twenty three years old. He apparently drives to a
bar that is near their house. He goes in the bar,
has a drink, and then drives home. Now he doesn't

(14:22):
have a driver's license. I don't know. I haven't seen
the video. Is he actually driving the car in the
video or does he just get into the car and
say that he's going to drive. I don't know the
answer to that, Charlie. If you analyzed, said, I've analyzed.
I don't think the car I can play here for you. Okay,
got it.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Jeffery is definitely told about this because he said something
role playing about my car?

Speaker 3 (14:47):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (14:48):
How did you know that?

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Oh, that's a good point, I asked.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
We asked one time, isell do that sometimes? But I
don't think my well know that that's what the video was.
Because somebody told him about it. Here's what's blowing my mind, said,
I told him about this?

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Yes, he hasn't gone to look at it, cannot be
bothered to just go to his son's TikTok km. What
is my son doing? And I've heard he's playing with
my car or something. Maybe I should spend the ten
seconds to look it up and just no, can I
see the video? And is there audio?

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Keep the audien have not looked at this yet? No,
I haven't seen it. It's the first time I'm hearing
about it. Okay, first time you're hearing about it. All right,
let's see here, man. You know I is bored. I'm
going to go get a drink or something. Maybe go
to the bar and hang out.

Speaker 7 (15:32):
Yeah, walk into the car in your car. Yeah, this
is your car. Okay, Hey cars, I'm definitely on. I
thought the other car next one he might have just

(15:55):
moved it a foot.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Okay, then, well, here we are at the bar. Let's
do this, all right, y'all? Will sitting at the bar
where he sas loud so I don't know you guys
can hear me.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
He's a young man.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
He wants to Yeah, not's to go to a bar.
Nothing wrong with da good Okay, I'm a bit tipsy
from all I hope to save the drive alone. All right,
let's do this, all right, So I don't think the

(16:34):
car is actually moving there at the end. He might
be right, This might be role playing. I don't think
he actually drove, did he, Jeffrey, I don't know. I'm
to ask him. No idea that happened.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
I told you two months ago, Donald, TikTok to watch
your son's thing. Your your mind is blown, right. I
was going, Oh my god, my son's driving my car around.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Where does you look at it? Where does he get
the keys from? I got I usually he's my dresser
when I'm not home or next to me. Where if
you're not home once you have the car with you?

Speaker 8 (17:11):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Where were you? I was probably in day? He probably
I don't know what he did. I mean, did you
know that he went to the bar?

Speaker 3 (17:20):
I have to have it.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
I'm gonna have to have a little chit chat with him.
Did you know that he went to the bar?

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Did you know? Have no idea he went to a bar?
Can you walk to that bar from your house? Okay,
So maybe here's what I think happened. I don't know
for sure, but I think he got in the car,
he turned it on, he said he was going to
drive to the bar, I think, and then he then
walked to the bar, got a drink, and then walked back.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
No, it's very This bar is very close to Jeffred's house. Yeah,
which is it's a koke.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
It's a karaoke bar that is so close to Jeffrey's
house that he doesn't go to, which is weird because
he loves song and so.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
But so he doesn't know that. Okay, so he has
to drive. It's so convenient. Couldn't you meet the chicks there? Like,
it's right back packed, filled with chicks. It's packed.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
The bar is always popping off. It's a great karaoke bar.
But Jeffrey does not frequent that one. So this this
is the first who saw some Do you think he's
driving the car?

Speaker 6 (18:15):
I don't know, but uh, from my foot, it looks
like he looks like he got the car and moved it,
then got out of the car, walked to the bar,
walked back in.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
The I'm to interrogate him for clarification, That's what I'm guessing,
But I don't know what happened. I mean, if you
see at the end there, you can see where he
says he's going to be driving and the pedometer is
move the engine. You could hear the rest.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Do this.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
Good for the car? Yeah, it's not the wheel.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
Service engines?

Speaker 5 (18:51):
Is that.

Speaker 6 (18:53):
Because the the wiring that steering column is different from
the original steering column in the car, and.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
I had to have a replace a couple of whiks. Wait,
so when they replaced the air bag in your car?

Speaker 6 (19:03):
Because he No, they replaced the entire steering column because
there's a unit that my cars have electric power steering.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
It doesn't have the fluid.

Speaker 6 (19:11):
Okay, so there's two components steering calm itself and there's
a unit it sits between the firewall.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Or the floor. I don't need to know all these details.
But you hit the wall here in the parking garage.
It threw your car off. You had to replace this stuff.
So after they replaced it, that light has always been on.

Speaker 6 (19:29):
Yeah, light's been on because the white I guess the
wiring of the sensors are different.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
See, that's very strange because I would assume if I
got repair work done and I got a new steering
column and new air bag, I would want it to
be in full working order when I drive away. No,
light's warning me, hey, your air bag needs to be
some go right back, especially because that's you know, it's

(19:55):
that could be life.

Speaker 6 (19:56):
Because you couldn't just swap out the steering you just
swap the whole thing. You just take the steering wheel
off and put the original steering wheel back on. That
particular company was the way he was built. But didn't
they do all that? Didn't they give you a whole
new steering.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
The whole steering coll plus the power steering power unit? Right,
So what's the why doesn't it? It's from the same
kind of car, right.

Speaker 6 (20:16):
Same vehicle, But the steering wheel that my car now
has these little buttons on top of it, where the
original steering wheel.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
In my car didn't have those. So it's not the
same steering wheel, right, it's the it's the same type,
but not the same exact one. Okay.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Also, if you look at the right above the waring light,
mm hmm, that does he have the mileage on there?

Speaker 1 (20:40):
No? No, no, he's not a seatbelt. Oh no, oh yeah,
he's given those. He's really good. Frank is going a
lot of turns in that in that area. Your son
posts another video of him at a bar singing.

Speaker 6 (20:57):
He probably I'm saying, well, hey, haven't you go to
a bar over the that would now we were all
together here, here we are.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
I'm not putting up. But he went to a bar
with Yeah, we know, we all all of us. My
friend Jed was there that night, the Redhead. When was this?
This was uh Saturday night? This this weekend. Oh, you've
been going to this bar a lot recently with the
Redhead her boyfriend. Her boyfriend is the DJ there and
he the one favorite.

Speaker 6 (21:24):
He asked me, you see anything you want except the
wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald's right. So my son, my son,
he's pretty entertaining with a microphone in his hand. Trusts me, Well,
I will say that, hey, he's going out, he's doing
his thing.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
He went to a bar. If he walked all the
way to the bar by himself, I mean, that's to me,
that's a I don't know, I don't do you have
any issue with that?

Speaker 5 (21:50):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (21:50):
Or is that.

Speaker 6 (21:52):
I have to have I have to have a little
have a little caution talk with him, you know, because
the last thing you want to walk out of a
bar is drunk and you get picked up for Republic intoxication,
not so I'm trying to help him.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Move away or driving. I don't think he drove your car,
but you know, one drink. I don't think he's going
to get picked up for public intox but I just
want to make sure he airs on the side of crushing. Yeah,
there's nothing wrong with this. I would say that. Uh,
it's it's good that he's going out, I guess and
spreading his wings so to speak. And amazingly, he even

(22:24):
paid for that drink, unlike ja alt.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Can I see the video one more time? I don't
even need the audio, just just just play the video.
I want to analyze it one more time. Here, Charlie,
let's see here. Do we have the So he gets
into the car. Are we able to ahead? Now?

Speaker 2 (22:54):
I think because the airbag thing is taking over the
What about like is there a clock anywhere like on
the radio here or no?

Speaker 3 (23:03):
He d.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Like it's working. Everything's broken. It's the windshield intact, have
a wet spot.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
It looks clean though, it looks.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Really good, all right, And then then he's back in
the car and then I'm the service service to the
air bag. Okay, Now that's all we can see Okay,
all right. I'm just wondering how he's doing that, Like
Jeffrey has no idea that his son is walking around

(23:37):
with his keys and has his car and all that starting. Yeah,
why don't you have I think he got the bug
when he gets when he went down to Texas and
that dude like, uh, you know, got him down to
Texas or whatever and let him drive. Because I remember
when I was a little kid, I uh, my older
step brother allowed me to drive his car. And once

(24:02):
that happened one time. I think I was like fourteen
or something. And once that happened to me once, I'm like,
I wanted to drive all the time. It was like
the greatest thing in the world. I want to drive.
I want to drive. So if somebody let him drive,
he probably now actually wants to drive all the time.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
And I worry about that guy. I remember the guy
that Jefferson went with. He's definitely he's back in the picture, right.
I just know he's making comments on all these all
the videos. Jim, you're on Rover's Morning, Glory Morning, Jim. Anyway, Jeffrey,
I wanted so much. I want to play on some

(24:42):
of the Jeffrey's Car Jeffery, airbag light is on.

Speaker 6 (24:46):
You realize your airbags are disabled, right, that's not what
you get wreck with you never mind, go ahead, go.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Ahead, No, you go ahead. But if you get in
a wreck, they those won't deploy.

Speaker 6 (24:58):
My mccag told me not to worry about that. Like
they in the event of fact, they would to play
Can we test it and go crash your car?

Speaker 1 (25:05):
You buy me a new one? Yes?

Speaker 7 (25:10):
None.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
If your airbag deploys, will buy you a new a
new yag. If it doesn't, then then you have to
pay us. No, thank you. Guys are touching my car.
And that's all I just said about it. It was
the deal of the deal, he said. If I bought
you a new car, we could crash your car. No. Yeah,
I would be very concerned about that, jeff In all seriousness,
you want to make sure. There's one thing. You want

(25:32):
to make sure the seat belts and the air bags
in your car work in case you're getting an accident.
And I don't know if I would trust the guy.
Nothing against the guy whoever it is that fixed your
car in his backyard or whatever. No, he has an
actual business, okay, And the airbag, like I wouldn't accept
that from an actual business. If I went, if I go,

(25:56):
you know, the rock hit the windshield of my car
a week ago, they I have to take it in.
They have the new windshield, they're going to replace it.
But if I picked that up and I have all
these warning lights going off, that says, hey, you know
this isn't right. That's not right. Windshield this or that,
windshield wipers. You know, there's a camera in the in

(26:16):
the in the mirror of the car, the front facing camera,
warning this, and they go, don't worry about it, it's
still going to work. A dirego No, No, Let's let's
make sure and let's let's clear out any errors. Yeah,
so you have to be very skeptical. I think of
what the person is saying. I guess, Jeffrey Douci, you

(26:37):
want to give us a quick shoozy, here we.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
Go, Kita Shozy.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
On rollers morning, Glory five crew members were rescued after
a Navy Seahawk helicopter and a Super Hornet fighter jet
went down in the South China Sea half hour apart
in separate incidents. According to the Navy, jeez so they
were able to get everyone rescued they're investigating all of that.
Today I think is day twenty seven of the government shutdown,

(27:03):
and the country's largest federal workers union they're calling for
the lawmakers to pass just kind of a short term
spending measure.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
John thinks, you gotta be done. This is ridiculous, something
absolutely ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
Yeah, just do a short term and then figure things out. Oh,
who's here.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
It's my neighbor. How's it going. The neighbor's always worked?

Speaker 4 (27:23):
Is that's awesome?

Speaker 1 (27:25):
Than good to see you, our lieutenant governor, That sir,
former os it's Jim Trestles. I got some question to
ask about OSU. What's going on? He's not the college.
Maybe he can give us some insight, Charlie. Now that
he's a betting man, he wants he wants all the

(27:46):
info he can gather. Speaking of which, we're going to
check in on our draft things. Bets.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
Yep, yep, yep. I'll do real quick.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
World Central Kitchen, the charity known for feeding people in
war zones and disaster areas.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
They're setting up in Washington, d C. Starting today. They're
going to have.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Food trucks in town serving meals to federal workers furlough
because of the government shutdowns.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
You've got to get this figured out. Look, it doesn't
even really affect me because I'm not using a whole
lot of government services and stuff. You know, I go
to the airport or whatever. But it's affecting those people.
What I'm saying, it affects people who need the government services,
and it affects these people who are not getting paid.
And this is just totally irresponsible that we have a

(28:27):
government that can't get this together and get these workers
paid and they're living paycheck to paycheck. It's really ridiculous.
Go on real quick.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
LSU has fired their head coach Brian Kelly midway through
it's his fourth season, after the team fell five to
five to three. According to reports, university could be on
the hope for a biot of around fifty four million
guy years and Megan Fox Machine Gun Kelly might be
back together a lot of time together because they have

(29:01):
a daughter together, Saga Blade.

Speaker 4 (29:05):
How do you say that name?

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Saga Zaga Blade is their daughter's name.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
Ed.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Finally, do you remember when you criticized Nellie for Tado
for being overweight. This was a picture that was of
her and I think it was back in August and
people were saying, wow, she's gained a lot of weight.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
Well.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
Nellie celebrated the twenty fifth anniversary of her album WHOA
Nelly with an Instagram post where she revealed she's decided to.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
Step away from performing.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
She plans to pursue other creative and personal endeavors that
she feels would be better suited with this next phase
of her life. Now. She didn't give a reason for
her decision, but there's been a lot of speculatday. Yeah,
people have been so mean, and she's so tired of
the body shamers criticizing her for not being as thin

(29:55):
as when she was younger. That she is just like
I'm a I'm done, so very sad she will no
longer be performing, But I go that shs rovers morning boy.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
He's someone who says I love Jim Trestle. He's hot.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
I would marry Jim Trestle. Is he single?

Speaker 1 (30:16):
No, he's married happily as far as I know.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
I'm just kidding, mister with him.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
He's your neighbor.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Yes, he got you battle with at the h o
A meetings. No, I don't. I don't battle with anybody
in the neighborhood. Don't battle at h o A meetings
I do you have to go to Sometimes I'm present.
Sometimes I'll zoom in, I'll just from down the street. No,
I'm not actually there. So uh, he waited this guy. Now,

(30:48):
I don't wait. I don't wait to him me either.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
Really does he talk to your father in law? Are
they friends?

Speaker 1 (30:55):
He talks smile, but not you. I just I don't
see him very often. I'm sure he's busy doing whatever,
you know, state work or something. He's still lieutenant governor,
I believe. I don't know. I mean, I think you're
next in line if the governor or something happens to him,
said wine, he's like vice governor. Yeah. So anyway, speaking

(31:23):
of DraftKings bets, let me take a quick break, let
me check in, let me see how everybody's bets went. Okay,
I wonder where we're going to stand, because there was
there was smacks yesterday in the NFL. Charlie's been on
a roll as he kept it up. I mean, he's
betting the heavy favorites.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
He's been quiet today though, I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Maybe he's saving it because he wants to gloat. You
know him, he probably has glitter. It's gonna come from
the ceiling or something.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
You know.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
Uh, last week, you know, I have this order ring
and it tracks my stress levels.

Speaker 3 (32:01):
And last Sunday I really was upset with the picks
and I was monitoring everything.

Speaker 4 (32:05):
It's like, are you okay? Your heart rate is going up?
This week I decided I can't. I can't do any
of that because it was streussing me out with the
winning and the beds and who's picking who. So I'm
curious to see how everybody did.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
All right, Well, we'll find out right after this on
Rover's Morning Glory. Hang from carry Dougie for years? Why
am I on the show?

Speaker 6 (32:25):
Done?

Speaker 7 (32:25):
I agree?

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Yeah, back to Rover's Morning Glory. I want to check

(32:49):
in and see how everybody did on our DraftKings pick.
So you can download the DraftKings sportsbook app used the
code r MG when you sign up. Is you think
disconnected from the phones? Crystal? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (33:05):
And I keep even trying to refresh the page and
it says the site can't be reached.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
I'm probably gonna have to restart that or something.

Speaker 6 (33:16):
All right, West the phone screating computer has that indication
that it needs the updates.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Updates, right, let's Schnitzer's domain. He's in charge of all
the updates around here. A few days, I apologize, Yeah,
you weren't logging in remotely and doing those all right,
let's see where where were we when it comes to DraftKings?

(33:50):
So we do a three pick parlay every week, and
let me load up my picks here because I had
I had some picks. I had some good picks. All right, dog,
how did you do?

Speaker 3 (34:04):
Well?

Speaker 4 (34:04):
Mine's not over all the tries. I'm the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Oh that's right. She picked a Monday night game, So
how did you do on the other two? I'm still
in it, baby, Oh you are see if the Colts
and the Bills? Yeah okay, and now you just need
the Chiefs to beat the Commanders tonight and then she's
actually gonna win. Yes, okay, So.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
I'm still in this turb You bet how much I
have twenty two cents in my account?

Speaker 3 (34:29):
Fifty bet fifty dollars, So I need this. She'll gain
twenty seventy six dollars.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
Twenty six dollars if she gets it. She could do
an early cash out since she got the first two
fifty nine dollars. That's what you could.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
So you could you could net nine dollars if you
don't want to risk and we could do that. No,
oh meio, I'm just saying, no, we're not doing that.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Okay, Well, let me see where you guys all are,
and maybe I can.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
There's no rule against it.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
I'm playing like Jeffery. How did your picks turnout? Two
out of three? The Bills won, the Patriots won, forty
nine Ers lost.

Speaker 4 (35:06):
So what's his balance?

Speaker 1 (35:08):
So he's down?

Speaker 2 (35:09):
He only bet five bucks on this, so I don't
know what he's It wasn't second place, the minus five
from whatever?

Speaker 1 (35:15):
He had?

Speaker 4 (35:16):
Six? Okay? I seventy one.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Had the Bills over the Panthers, ding I had the
Cults over the Titans. Ding I had the Browns oh
boy over the Patriots. Young Yeah.

Speaker 6 (35:35):
I was at the clam Bakers. I was at the
climbake that I went to U yesterday. We were watching
out the game on and they look, we're looking good
in that first half, but as the game went on,
Patriots killed him.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
So what's your balance?

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Rover Well? I bet eighteen dollars on that wager, so
I should have here I'll minus and I'll tell you what,
I'll have it. I can just load up because I'm
actual betting this, and I started with one hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
I have.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
And twenty cents.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
Okay, JLR is seventy one twenty seve.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Crystal, how'd you do?

Speaker 4 (36:18):
I mean, I'm I'm still still in it. I saw
money in my thirteen dollars. You lose the two? Yeah,
I George Kittle pulled out a touchdown for me.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
But yeah, that was it? All right? Snitzer?

Speaker 2 (36:33):
You placed your bets even though you were in Las Vegas.
You put it in your three pick parlay?

Speaker 1 (36:37):
How'd you do? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (36:39):
It wouldn't let me actually bet, which is weird. Do
you have a weird thing with photoshop?

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Is what I is it? Yeah? If you don't bet,
that's how my thing is. That's weird. I've never seen
this before. Like, what are all these like red minus
things over there? I think iPhone?

Speaker 4 (36:55):
Mine doesn't look like legs.

Speaker 1 (36:59):
That's what is up? As on your bet slip? All right?
So uh all right?

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Yeah the Colts yes, dang, yeah, Bill's ding yeah, Steelers dong.

Speaker 6 (37:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:11):
So I had your balance?

Speaker 1 (37:14):
Was it was twenty? All right? Ten dollars. Way, who's
the lowest? Now si last play?

Speaker 4 (37:23):
Yeah, crystals and second to last.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
All right, let's go to chocolate Charlie, who says that
he's won all of his parlays, although somebody did dispute
that they said you could go to whatever date. He
did not win one particular week.

Speaker 8 (37:38):
Whatever, dork, actual questions are way, shut up with your
ten dollars?

Speaker 1 (37:52):
I bet what did I bet? So your imaginery betting? Yeah,
twenty dollars. No, No, I bet thirteen. I actually bet
thirteen thirteen dollars.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
That's not when I put No, that's not what we're
doing on the game, because I make other bets.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
I guess I'm a twenty down okay, and I got
the Colts bam right out of gate? What winners? Eagles destroyed?
Oh the Eagles? Okay? Yeah, and then the Falcons did
not do so well. The Dolphins beat the Falcons. Didn't
even Falcons? They how'd they do that?

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Because they shock you luck, something is going to Cashtel
needs to investigate this. Somebody took a dive, obviously, because
there's no way the Falcons should have lost, and somehow
they lost.

Speaker 1 (38:40):
So it's official. I have lost the bet. I'm down
twenty dollars from my what one hundred and sixty and
eighty I don't.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
And now you're down to one twenty two.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Dougie, what are you at?

Speaker 4 (38:52):
I don't know yet.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
Yeah, she has his last week last week.

Speaker 2 (38:57):
Okay, So if Douji gets her twenty six dollars, she'll
be at seventy six.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
Oh as, she'll be Tiger Jeffrey. Yeah, yeah, no Jeffrey.

Speaker 2 (39:10):
Yeah, so she will be Jeffrey's seventy one. Right now,
she will be at seventy six second place. Still garbage.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
Okay, it's only week eight right now. Yeah, yes, and
you've had half many games.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
How many games are in the season.

Speaker 1 (39:25):
Two teams games? Seventeen?

Speaker 2 (39:28):
But we are counting the playoffs, so we're going to
keep this going through the playoffs we have you won't
have money by then.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
We have a lot money that will.

Speaker 3 (39:35):
Be only We have a long time to go, so
you might want to tone that little yapping down a
little bit.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
All you've done in that is lost. You've done it.
Your third loss, isn't it.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
Yes, it is his third loss.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
This is her eighth loss. No, it's not.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
I'm trash. No, we just need the Chiefs to win
tonight and then.

Speaker 1 (39:52):
You're still losing.

Speaker 4 (39:54):
It's halfway through this.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
You were only halfway through the stasion and I'm I'm
halfway through my money too. I'm right on page. It's
time to start picking it up. You're running out of time.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
Okay, don't worry about me, what about yoursel about everybody,
because it's it's going to be me by myself, just winning.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
Craig and Gabe and Brandon and uh all these people
have said the Falcons quarterback was injured, so they were
in a backup quarterback. That's why. And that's exactly what
I said. So you think that Cash should take a
look at the quarterbacks to start investigating something because something's off.

(40:32):
Something was definitely wrong yesterday.

Speaker 4 (40:34):
That's what was off the quarterback.

Speaker 1 (40:35):
I think that this betting scandal that hit the NBA,
I think that this is going to spread because I
saw that somebody said that they were taking in the
same you know, the poker games that the that the
mob was running where they had all the X ray
vision to see the cards and that kind of stuff,
and they had an NBA coach that was there. Essentially
just lower high rollers in so that they could scam them. Well,

(40:57):
I saw a guy that lost a million dollars in
this poker game.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
Oh, I think there's probably a bunch of people that
were lured in and go, oh we got some big
players here, come on out. I think there's more than one.

Speaker 1 (41:10):
Well, this guy lost a million bucks and he he
said that no NBA players. They had former NFL players
that were that were there to lure people in.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
So one of them make I think they did one
of them at Chloe Kardashian's house too, Chloe Railer one
of the games or something I saw, Oh this is
this is gonna go real rough for a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (41:33):
But you know the card, I mean, okay, if they
if they do, maybe it was one of the Jenners.
I don't remember the same thing. But but they that
doesn't mean that she's in on it. It just means
like she has a big house and they could have
run this there. Uh you know the people and it
makes me curious, like the guy that uh, you know,
some of these guys that were arrested, like the like

(41:54):
the NBA coach, do did they know that the the
the poker games that they were drawing people into were rigged,
or of course they're getting the kickback.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
Yeah, what else would you be drawing anybody into a
poker game just you're like, you really like poker?

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Well, they might they might have been. What I'm saying
is they might have known that they were drawing people
in and they say, hey, we'll pay you. Let's get
some high rollers people, will you know, so we'll pay
you to play in this poker game. But I'm curious
whether they knew that the mob was using this technology
to rig the games. I think it's possible that you might.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
I saw one idea of one guy saying one day
wouldn't stop winning and they had to tell them, whoa dude,
you you're winning every hand, but you can't make me
a little obvious. I think most of the people that
weren't the marks were involved. And now after they arrested
all these people, now they're gonna all start snitching on
each other, and it's going to be a lot more

(42:54):
people are going to be an avalanche. Avalanche of people
are gonna be brought into it all right cause they
just say, oh, you want to go three years in
prison or whatever, or do you want to ride out?
Who else did and then and all you need is
a couple of those people to flip. It's all the
way to the top. Game Over The Aftermath starts on

but I'm gonna save that for tomorrow because my phones

Speaker 1 (43:47):
So we'll double up tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
You know what you have.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
Not even gonna say it because I'm going to wait
until tomorrow. How about that? I know you don't like that. Yeah,
for some reason, she doesn't like that. But that's just awesome,
I know. And I can't give it away right now
because the phone's on tomorrow, right Why would I would?
