phone number, and email address, you are gonna win those
Pantera tickets. Good luck everybody, But right now it's time
for this.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Movie tour.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
All right. So last night I was having the worst
heartburn I've ever experienced, indigestion, to the point where I
thought I was gonna die. It was very painful. My
ribs heard. I was like, so I couldn't lay down.
That's not normal, right, that's beyond indigestion. Maybe it feels
like it's bad. And it was hard to recover, And

(01:03):
so I couldn't lay down is bat And I was tired,
and I was like, all right, I got to sit up.
So I'm flipping through the channels, and as I'm flipping
through the cable channels, I see a scenario playing out,
and I recognized the actress, but I don't know her
name off the top of my head, but I know
who she is, and they appear to be playing out.

(01:24):
Remember what's her name, Mary, Joe, Paterno, or whoever that
lady was. It was a lady that had a fling
with a teenager and they had a kid, and then
she went off to prison and the boy was out
in the world with the kid. You guys remember this story.
It was a huge story of fifteen years ago or
twenty years ago. Got shot in the face or no, no, no,

(01:47):
no oh. That was the Long Island, Lolita. This was
I think up in the Washington area. And so I'm
watching this and I'm like, okay, I remember this story,
but this appears to be a comedy. What And so
I'm watching this unfold and it's in a courtroom and
then the thirteen year old boy his name. Go ahead,

(02:09):
if you know the name of the movie or what
it is while I'm describing it, feel free to jump in.
I'd never heard of it, and so I'm not gonna
tell you. But I hit the menu on the film.
I saw the name of the film, and I saw
who was in it. I was like, wait, what, I've
never even heard of this. So I started watching it
and it starts with the thirteen year old boy and

(02:31):
the lady goes to prison, and then they fast forward
and they show him and they tell his backstory and
his boy is raised and he's briefly a celebrity, and
then he makes all this money and hangs out with celebrities,
and then he's suddenly in his forties and he loses
all of his money, and he's sitting in his CPA's office,

(02:53):
and his CPA is Rex Ryan, the football coach. What
movie is this? I don't want to give it away yet,
Rex Ryan. Wait, I'm getting the Ryan brothers mixed up.
Rob Ryan. No, no, no, who was the one that
was the defensive coordinator for the Cowboys? Yeah? Rex Ryan
has the foot fetish. Rex Ryan is his lawyer. Okay,

(03:13):
yeah in this movie.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I think I've seen this.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Then suddenly the guy who's the lead I'm not going
to tell you the lead yet, is like, wait, what
I owe forty three thousand dollars or I'm going to
prison this weekend? Oh my? And so you might even
know who it is now because every one of his
movies have this premise. If I don't come up with
forty three thousand dollars in forty eight hours, this bad
thing happens. So now he suddenly has to go to

(03:36):
a TV show and he's like, hey, man, would you
give me this money if I got this? And the
guy who hosts the TV show is Dan Patrick playing
Uh so we have famous media celebrities in this movie
playing roles. Okay, I'm sticking this out because of the
people that are in it, because I did not remember
a movie that came out in which Adam Sandler and

(03:58):
Andy Samberg were both in it. Oh, oh, that's my boy,
that's my boy. Wow, I know that was the I
had no idea this existed.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I didn't even premise.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
I didn't know it existed. I knew nothing about it.
This movie has got Andy Samberg, it's got Adam Sandler.
There's your stars. Dan Patrick is in it, Aaron Andrews
is in it, Rex Ryan is in it. Tony Orlando
Vanilla Ice Leeton Measter is the main actress in it.

(04:31):
Who Andy Samberg's gonna marry? And I was just watching
this and man, the songs that they had licensed, like
every huge song from the eighties. I'm like, my god,
how much money did this movie cost to make? And
I just looked it up in twenty eleven. It costs
like fifty seven million dollars to make, said between fifty

(04:52):
seven and seventy, and it made fifty seven. I couldn't
believe it made fifty seven because I don't ever remember
it even existing. Yeah, the Rotten Tomatoes score is bad. Bad.
It's bad even by any You guys know how I
feel about Adam Sandler those style of movies, even by
his standards.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
I thought it was really bad. This movie sucks. But
you still haven't seen what All's he not seen? He's
not seen the White Lotus. I'm a million TV shows.
It's the only thing I can really think about. All
I can focus on is him watching terrible TV and
missing out the TV that we need him to watch.
The Studio started last night.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
You would love it, Skins, Okay, seriously love it. I
love the Studio everyone stopped show ever. I would love
all those shows. But again, and you do the same thing. Man,
I'm scrolling at one thirty in the morning. I'm having
health issues. I'm not let me start a series.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
You're like you're just looking to be entertained before you
fall asleep.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Right, And I'm thinking, can I fall asleep sitting up?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Uh huh?

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Same world? Put me in a good mood or sam
burg I like these guys, I couldn't believe how bad
this movie was. Like I'll give an example, like I
kind of like it's not great, but I kind of
like Popstar are Now. I'm not gonna sit her and
say it's I'm not gonna say it's a great movie,
but it's centered this was there's.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Parts of it. There's nothing redeeming about that. There's not
one good thing about it. All right, there's skin Weights
one thirty Am movie review coming up. Next, A sports
reporter is in hot water. You don't want to miss
this discussion. Next
