“So… which one would you rather fight—Too Tall Jones or Randy White?”
That’s the question that launched one of the most unintentionally hilarious, awkward, and unforgettable interviews in The Ben and Skin Show history. In this laugh-out-loud episode, Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray reflect on the legacy of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan—who, according to KT, once “brothered” him in a moment of surreal glory. From KT’s bizarre attempt at an Australian accent to his nervous, mumbled question about fighting Cowboys legends, this episode is a masterclass in cringe comedy and heartfelt nostalgia.

age of seventy one.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
That is not the way he needs to be remembered, Kevin.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
He was also.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Twenty eighteen Boys and Girls Club of America Alumni Hall
of Fame Old Cogan dead at the age of seventy one.
Hulk Cogan one of the most famous wrestlers of all time.
I remember me growing up, you know, and I was,
you know, didn't have experience the local Von Eric situation.
I do remember and not being a wrestling fan, but
he was kind of to me the face of wrestling

(00:47):
for many years. He was when I got into wrestling.
For two or three years, he was not even a
part of the people that I watched back He was
just the overarching figure of wrestling in the late eighties.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
He was far and away the biggest star of wrestling.
And it wasn't even I would push that into the nineties.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
I would I would.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I'm not saying he's not I'm just saying from the
time that I remember him being that big of a
presence mid eighties till the end of the eighties. I'm
telling you, man, that dumb song was in heavy rotation
on MTV. I mean heavy rotation.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Is that when Hulk Mania started? Like, when did the
official Hulk manius?

Speaker 1 (01:21):
I bet eighty five. It would be my guess eighty
four eighty five. Somewhere in there.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Christina, did you say that you had to run in
with the Hulk?

Speaker 4 (01:28):
I did meet the Hulk once, Hulk Hogan, this was god.
I would say probably twenty ten, twenty eleven, and I
was dating guy, a guy who worked for Kid Kratick
at the time, and they had some big wrestling event
in Hulk Hogan for what ever read every reason was
there and he I guess he was announcing it. I
don't really remember. I just remember having a picture with

(01:50):
Hulk Cochin.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Wow. Was Big Al jealous? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:53):
She was dating Big Al.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
That's what I'm saying. You was dating someone from the
Kid cradit so he.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Worked behind the scenes. He's a giant jerk.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I'd rather not, man, You brought it up.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
She didn't bring it up.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
She brought it up.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
That's would I be at a kid cratic wrestling event.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I don't know, because they're both great things wrestling and
both great things.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
I know the guy and Will Concur. Oh his name
is will will Concur. Yeah, Will Concur a terrible guy.
William Concur. He did yell at me one time, a
long time before I ever met.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Thanks for bringing it up, dude, Probably too much, too
much on him, especially the five o'clock what time are
we doing?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
The same? That guy?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
I had a uh an opportunity uh to hang out
with hul Cogan. In fact, it was a contest where
you tried to take the shirt off without ripping it.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Uh he used to do his chest.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
The last time I saw Hulk in person, he was
trying to do the tank top rip over his chest
and he couldn't do it. It is at that Trump
rally and it was like, oh no, the Hulks lost
his fastball.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
You can't do that. What were you doing at that
Trump rally? No?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
No, this is ten years ago and it was there
to see Charlie Kirk. I just see my people.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
So you was it a wicking shirt and it was
a tricky material. I don't know about that.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Just ten years ago and they were gonna have rustle
Mania for the first time at at and T Stadium,
and I believe I left our show and the fan
that day to go interview hul Kogan. So I was like,
on the drive over maybe in the days before, going okay,
I'm gonna do some type of bit.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I knew I was gonna get about one or two
minutes with him.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Early on the show.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I think I was probably encouraged to go yes.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
But the time we were playing a lot of a
drop on our show of Too Tall Jones, where he
said he was in some commercials and he would say
things like absolutely lots of things with too Tall. So
I was like, Okay, if I could get him to
maybe say a too Tall drop, that would be amazing,
but it's probably not gonna happen. Pretty nervous a lot

(03:55):
of people, and a lot of people were excited to
be getting some time with Hulk. Hulk at that point
my life means literally nothing to me.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I know he's a big figure and I.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Can respect that, like six seven and outside of that,
it's his fame. But I was like, you know, okay,
it's not my thing, not wrestling guy, So I'm not
really taking this as serious as I should, but I
was nervous. And here's my forty five seconds withhold senator.
And they saw I had two tall jones, of course,
and then the manster Randy White. Which one would you

(04:24):
rather fight?

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Well, i'd find either one of them. If I was
a bad guy, then I could see, of course, then
I could cheat. You know, Randy's got a grip. I
met him in the back. He about broke my hand
when he shook my hand. And two talls just too big.
So I wouldn't want to find either one of them.
But if us about you, i'd probab hit him with
some brass knuffs or something. So it's even the playing field.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
It's a contact sport at any level.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Right, Yeah, sure it was brother.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Okay, there is brother because in that twote commercial he
says it's a context sport at any level turn off football.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Yeah, clearly it is. But I I was thinking. I
told my wife this is morning.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
I said, you gotta understand with Paul Kogan, I'm on
the short list of people that he's brother.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Yeah, like short list, a long list, but you're on it.
Not a long list. There's a humanity. It's a short list.
But in general it's but it's a good list to
be on right now. Now I could be on the
Epstein files. Probably not, but I could be.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I think of every single man he ever met after
the age of eighteen, he brothered them.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
So it just depends on how many men that he met. Well,
I'm on the list and you're not.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
The brother has been released today, Kevin Turner one of
the names something.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
It's a contact sport at any.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
Level, right, Yeah, sure, his brother to bring up.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah, that sounds it sounds kind of painful.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Actually, you've never been hurt.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Will you put me in a headlock or something.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
And you watch that?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Okay, all right, taking very much in a circle.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I can't do that, Okay. I want to hear.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I want to hear the first question because I what
an know what accident it is, and as some of
the words are not fully formed, I.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Think I was gonna do if I get into the
Australian thing or what are you scared?

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Terrified? Let me hear it, told, leave me alone? No,
you're good.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
I want to know.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
I want to know what the words are too, Told
Jones of course. And then the Master Randy White, Which
one would you rather find.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Did you call him senator?

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Mister?

Speaker 1 (06:26):
What is the what are those words?

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Don't worry about it?

Speaker 1 (06:29):
What were you trying to say?

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I'm looking at the clock and I'm all right.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
So much.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Coming up next, a brand new segment, The Gig Guide.
What are the shows coming to town you need to
know about?

Speaker 1 (06:40):
And does the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys have
giant coconuts?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
