Speaker 1 (00:00):
Spending skin show broadcasting live today from the Chalk Talk
Casino in Resort Durant, Oklahoma. So happy to be here today.
Good times for being apd We're having all the good times.
And uh, you know, just we must be near the pool.
That was like a sight gag. Must be near the pool. Fella,
(00:21):
there's the fake Tim McMahon right there. We're having a
good time. I guess I missed it the Chalk Talk
Casino in Resort Rant, Oklahoma. Somebody's gonna win a million
dollars tomorrow night, probably her. It's Sunday morning. Actually at
one am. You got to have her Rewards club card.
But uh, dude, yesterday and really in the past week,
you've been a walking, farting infomercial for Macha Tea. Oh yeah, dude,
(00:46):
tried my first one yesterday? How'd it work out? Loved it? Yeah,
let's go. How'd you get it? I went to Starbucks.
I have now purchased three of them in that time.
I had two more today and if we were closer
to the Starbucks here at I would run over there
and get another one. It's it's like, did you get
oat milk? I did half and half on one low
(01:08):
fat milk in another, and I did two splinters in one.
Then I did sugar free vanilla and another. Nice. I'm
a guy like I I this is a weird thing.
Like I like wheat grass shots. Uh huh. Like you
go to smoothie place, Serica, why do you have that
grass behind the counter? Oh? We do wheat grass shots.
And I'm like, for whatever reason, I like that. Yeah,
And so that's what this is. Like, this is like
(01:29):
lawn flavored milk. Yeah, it's lawn flavored milk. It's it's
earthy in that way, and it's so much healthier than coffee,
and it's I'm excited about it. So there's three things
that that you've referred to me that were great. One
when you when you referred dude wipes, Yeah, Number two
machae and number three Jumbo condoms that brand you gave
(01:53):
me about that was perfect. So you've referred three things
to me, and none of those worked for KT for
different reasons. KT.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah, I mean I like all the space to move
around to him.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
But right now it's time for this.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
KG tweets.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
As on the sports, we'll probably spent a large part
of the five o'clock hour talking about the news that
Michael Parsons has put out a statement on Twitter and
says that he personally told Stephen Jones that he wants
to trade. He basically said in a statement that he's
in his feelings about things right now and that he
(02:33):
doesn't want to be a Dallas Cowboy anymore. He wanted
to be, but I think it's like a negotiating tactic.
I think we'll get into a lot of that at
five and maybe a little bit here. The Cowboys, though,
in the last hour or so, have signed Lyle Collins,
and in your face, Mic, it's being listed as an
offensive tackle, but I can remember our left tackle has
a bone fractures out four to six weeks. I'm wondering
(02:56):
if that's what they're thinking to get by. Tyler's can
play left tackle. He played there in college. He's an
All Pro guard.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Yeah, yeah, right.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
It's interesting to me all the reports of that Law
has been in great shape. And honestly, how old do
you guys think Lyle Collins is?
Speaker 3 (03:12):
I bet he's like thirty, and it just seems like
he's way older.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
I was gonna say thirty two.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
He just done thirty two, Okay, and off it's lineman
and you can kind of play, Yeah, you can play longer.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
But he while he.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Didn't make the Bengal of the Bills last year he
signed up, got cut, didn't make the team.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
So I wonder if this was Dax since their best
friends saying, hey, man, Lyle's in great shape. What about him?
And if before you get mad about him, you should
also know Dak's responsible for their best player, Brandon Aubrey.
Oh yeah, because Brandon Aubrey is just you know, Dak's
best friend is the kicker whisperer, the guy that teaches
people how to be bad ass kickers, and Brandon Aubrey
(03:52):
was his guy.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Aubrey is so good I'd probably give him some snaps
at running back this year.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
I don't think you need to get they could. He's
so good. You can't take the the accidental hit, the
excruciating right leg injury, and then he can't kick field
goals for it anymore. That's not worth it.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Was he able to run between the tackles, That's all
I want to know.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
You know, you lost your football credibility when you said
that they wouldn't give Zeke the ball on first down, and.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
Then they started the season. I think I nailed that
to Rewrack.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Camp.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
I'd like to I've been in a while. I wouldn't
have made that prediction had I been at camp. Should
we tell people what happened? Why we almost fell off
the radio?
Speaker 1 (04:36):
I missed it. I gotta be careful. Those are the
biggest naturals ever, they ever. It's fun to people watch, obviously,
and there's a lot of people coming here to have fun.
And we must be near a pool because we've had
two people want buying bathing suits already. Or actually, that's
what's so fun is we're not near the pool.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Okays around goes back a look. I want to see
the look on their face when they noticed.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
I just think that's the important thing about these negotiations.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yep, that's the most important thing, sir. What are you
laughing at them? A listener right there? What's that guy doing?
That was shocking?
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Right? O?
Speaker 1 (05:20):
Your neck? Your neck hurts now, doesn't he the first question?
Can hear you? Yep? All right?
Speaker 3 (05:25):
That was oh my god, Hey, sir, there's like triple JS.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Yeah, we're professionals, but they've been that just pushing the
limits what we're talking about, all right, Let's put this
guy on the air real quick. Here you go, pop
this headset on you ready? Christ Game over that seventy
two Christmas Eve game Chiefs and Dolphins. Yeah, Greasy Dawson,
(05:50):
all those guys, Dawson is on. Thank you very much,
Thank you, sir, appreciate you. All Right, this is the
world famous ben excin Show broadcasting line from the chalk
Tak Casino and Resort and Durant, Oklahoma. We'll get back
into the Mica stuff the whole five o'clock hour we're
dedicating to a deep dive into this latest Dallas Cowboys drama.
(06:11):
But in just over three minutes where you're gonna take
us kat Dude.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
The Rangers put their nuts on the table yesterday.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yep, they sure did, and we'll talk about it in
a few minutes.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Before friends, another great Friday afternoon at the chalk Tak
Casino and Resort in Durant, Oklahoma, where tomorrow night they
are going to get their final millionaire of the month
crowned three months, three millionaires, the four point eight million
dollars Summer Giveaway here at the chalk Tawk Casino in
Resort during Oklahoma. You still have time to make it
(06:39):
up for the weekend. Coming up at the bottom of
the hour, we have a week day update and there
is a story that Kat is tracking that you really
need to know about. More details on that shortly, but
right now, let's get into the Ranger action of the day,
because the Texas Rangers are making moves.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah, they decided not to do nothing. They made trade
yesterday at the deadline. In fact, it was the most
trades ever at the MLB trade deadline. There were thirty
six trades today in baseball history. Yes, wow, and I
don't think I knew that made three of them. So
you know, the Mariners made a trade for a good hitter.
The Astros brought Carlos Korea back because the twins are like,
(07:19):
don't have any money and he's not the same player
he once was, but he's still.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
You know, he's okay.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
And you know everyone thought the Rangers are gonna bad.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
They didn't.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
They got two bullpen arms, which is need number one
for me. They need to get the bullpen fixed.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Do you like the guys they got? Uh?
Speaker 2 (07:33):
So, what I know about him? I do? And one
guy I used to picture the Astros. His name is
Phil Maton, which you can have a lot of fun
with his last name if your first name is Phil.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
And then the other guy is really good. His name's
uh Koloum, which is kind of tough with left hander.
They're like four or five good bullpen arms. Now without
one closer, you can kind of figure it out. We
won a World Series with Chapman, Will Clerk one night,
Josh Spores one night, and then the starter they got
is excellent. Now it's just a rental. His name's Meryl Kelly,
and they gave up a lot to give him. But
(08:04):
he is the one who won the Game two of
the World Series right against the Rangers two years ago.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
That was the one that shocked me because I didn't
think they were even looking for starting pitching. They give
up three top fifteen prospects for a half season of
a starter. Yeah, but it means it shows they're serious.
It shows they mean business. And I saw that. I
wondered if it meant are they nervous about de Grom,
Are they nervous about anybody else? Are they? Or are
they just like, look, we're we have an opportunity to
(08:30):
get a really good starter. I mean, what number starter
would he be in a playoff series.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Four Meryl Kelly, I mean, and this three here because
of Youvaldi and de Grom, But I also think they
can go Okay, Kumar Rocker can bear a closer in
the playoffs, Like there's there's things here.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
Rocker was great until he wasn't and then what they
just went a little bit too long with him last night.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yeah, he's that's kind of how he's he's kind of
going through it his first season.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
But he was a starter five minute. But maybe that's
his thing. Maybe he can't go through the lineup multiple times.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
Yeah, I think it's like it's just so early to know,
and you've got value with him as the starter. But
when you get in the playoffs and does all that
matters is winning these games in front of me?
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Now you got to get there.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
And a lot of people said that, but dude, they're
so close in the wild Card. They are a game
behind the Marriners, right, you know they got two more
with him here and the Astros, I think, you know,
you have a chance to catch them. So like, I
love that they went for John Daniels always went for
it always, And I like this whole mood of the
mode of like let's go because guess what if it
(09:30):
doesn't work out? Okay, well you can reevaluate your thing.
You're feeling kind of old.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Maybe you can.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Talk about trading Corey Seeger, I don't know if he's got,
you know, no trade clause. You can talk about trading
Marcus Simmy, and you can talk about trading some.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Of these guys. But you might as well go for it.
Now you have to go for it.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
And you're so close, like you you'd go and your
manager is seventy five or however old he is, and
he's like this could be his last.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Season, and you're all over him. You're you're and dude,
do you owe him an apology? He's turned things around personally.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
That he's personal life.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Yeah, yeah, this personal. Try to win the game, that's
what we do. We try to win the games, Kevin.
He is turning into a big, animating Well.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
The outrageous from fans is why didn't we get a bat?
We need a batter? Offense sucks. I'm like, well, hold on,
hold on, hold on, No offense did suck for the
first three months. Over the last month we were the
third best offensive team in the American League.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Yeah, and so break, they've been hitting. Yeah, Simmy, Andy
is amazing, dude, it looked like he was done. Now
he's their best hitter.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Most of these guys have track records. You don't think
White Langford sucks. So like, I was like, there's a
there's a way to like kind of figure all this out.
And if a bat did wasn't there for you, then okay,
then go get pitching and improve that. I love it.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
I don't have a single reservation about anything Chris Young
does in regards to pitching, right, And there wasn't a
single person alive going into the season that didn't think
our offense was gonna be great. Sometimes bats go dormant,
but to your point, they're fine now, Like we kept
waiting for it to turn around.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
It's not like it's not there in the store. It's there.
Historically it has in the pitching has continued to be
absolutely dominant. So it could be a fun year for
the Rangers. But they did go all in, they did
go for it, so good for them. All right, Coming
up next, don't forget at five o'clock. Bringing it back
into the biggest story of the day, the Micah Parsons
trade demand we'll give you the latest with regard to
(11:20):
that with cussing the cowboys the five o'clock hour, but
coming up next, we're you gonna take his kt well.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Someone who's been in the news a lot has just
been transported to Texas.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
We'll give you the details next
