What if it's Doctor Evil, it'd be great, all his

so he'd have to keep coming back.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Yeah, yeah, maybe.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I'm Ben Rogers, joined by Jeff skin Wade. Hello everybody,
Kevin K. T.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Turner, Happy August and Happy Friday.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
And Christina Cared little baby corn Bread Ray back to
the studio, Helly, just getting ready for this show, just
getting ready to go and uh, you know, driving out
here to the Chalk Talk casino and resort and Durant
when bam, major news breaks in the world today and
now is our reaction to it? Micah Parsons gets on

(02:16):
social media and requests a trade.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
He also proceeds to spill all sorts of dirty laundry,
just destroying Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones for the way
in which they've negotiated his contract. Basically, he makes it
sound like there was After his third year, he goes
to his agent, let's get a deal.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Done.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I want to stay with the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
I realized there's a bunch of past rushers who are
going to get big contracts, and so by me doing
this deal early, I know I'm gonna cost myself money,
but I want to be a Cowboy. This is where
I want to be. I'll sign for less, I'll play
here for less. And the Cowboys like, no, not interested,
and then uh he. At some point along the.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Way, it speaks to Jerry Jones, and Jerry Jones is
talking to him about leadership.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
They're having a conversation about leadership. And then suddenly Jerry
starts talking to Mike about his contract. They have a
little conversation about the contract, something informal, and then when
Micah's agent reaches out to the Cowboys, they're like, what
are you talking about?

Speaker 1 (03:17):
We got a done deal. It's basically all but done.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Mikeh negotiated it directly with Jerry, and then Scumbaggie it's
been it's like talking to a suspect without their lawyer, right,
and it's not even real.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
It's it's unfair allegations, you know, and like.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Nobody read nobody read Micah his miranda right, And so
this paints the Cowboys with a terrible paint brush. But
it's not a surprise to any of us who have
been watching this franchise burn Now for I don't know,
thirty years. And also it's like, you know, Mike is
giving his side to the story and it's insightful. But
Jerry told all of us he doesn't talk to the agent,

(03:56):
and so I'd have to go back in time, and
so much has happened, including a pandemic, but this all feels.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Very much like how the Dead stuff happened.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
And then Dez switched over to Rock Nation, and wasn't
he liked the first athlete in the jillion years.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
To be on the cover of Rolling Stone? Remember all that?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
And there was that big Rolling Stone article and they
gave all the details. I mean, it's like Jerry thinks
that he can operate a certain way because he thinks
he's more powerful and wealthy and more important than everybody else,
and so this is how he operates.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Man.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
This is a lot like the preseason game a few
years ago when they played the preseason game and then
after the game they asked about Zeke and Jerry said,
Zeke who? And then you know last year he got
a little weird with Ceedee Lamb and got a little
weird I mean with Dak as well. They signed Dak
in his hotel room right the Saturday before the season

(04:54):
opener Cleveland Rounds. I mean they this is a huge
day for Jerry Jones in the Jones family. This is
exactly what they wanted because Mike I can't do anything right.
All Michaeh can do is just like kind of sit
there and the Cowboys will be like, okay, well we'll
just wait and then he'll be at free agent next
year and then we will franchise tag you and that'll

(05:15):
be good. And then as you get a little bit older,
we can we can do it again if we want to.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
We just kind of see how it works. Now, what
Mike I can do is leave.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
He can get on a train and leave Oxnard and
that would cost him fifty thousand dollars a day.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
He can also say his ankle hurts. He can say
his ankle hurts.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Yeah they're doing that's that's the play dirty get it
like a medical thing going on.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Yeah, that's pretty good right there.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Yeah, but regardless, it's terrible for this season. No matter what,
it's terrible for this season. You're about to embark upon
a season where nobody thinks you're gonna be very good,
but you're gonna score a lot of points. You you know,
it's a wasted season if you just have all this
drama where the team feels like you're disrespecting.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
One of its most important leaders. That's the saying. And
did you guys read Jane Slater's tweets? I've not seen it. Yeah,
I love Jane, So I didn't see your tweets today.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
She was talking about, you know, the Cowboys wanted to
trade Micah two years ago and Jerry was like, We're
not trading Micah. But uh, there were coaches that were
at that time saying I got players coming in my
office all the time saying, hey, man, I don't really
like that Micah does stuff the way he does it,
And so they had discussions about trading him back. This

(06:27):
is according to Jane. They had discussions about trading him
two years ago and Jerry said no, and that Micah's
changed or evolved or been more mature over time, because
we still talk about that stuff. But yeah, I mean,
and dude, it's it's it's all incremental Malie Cooker was
the guy who made comments. But yeah, dude, there are
Cowboys players changing their profile pictures right now to pictures

(06:50):
of Micah Ceedee Lambs has tweeted and Ceede Lamb is
one of if if it's not Dak and it's not Mikea's, Ceede.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Lamb's the leader of the ring is like, dude, just
pay the guy. We don't need all this.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
And it's also a really fed up thing to do
to your new head coach, right, but this is the
cowboy way, cutting the legs out from under your head coach.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
They care more about the brand than they do about anything,
and they they will focus on that brand and worry
about that brand at all costs, even if people get
caught up in the shrapnel like this, right, they don't.
I mean they love this, They love this juice, They
love being in the headlines. Yep, Like why else would
why else does Jerry care about any of this? Like

(07:30):
what are they waiting for to get a deal done?
Unless they are fielding trade offers, which they've already waited
too long, What is the point of waiting at this point?
There's no point now waiting And so unless you just
want to be in the headlines for having this drag out. Yeah,
and we'll be talking about this all day long. There's
more developments, more things to get into. But I do
want to leave one more little nugget out there. I

(07:51):
feel like once Jerry made the Hall of Fame, he
was good. You know, all this talk about you know,
Jerry wants to win one more and all that kind
of stuff. As soon as he got in the Hall
of Fame. I think he felt like, you know, because
we've had many discussions over here, has been about Jerry's
running out of time and wasted years. He knows the
die is cast, he knows what his legacy is. He's

(08:13):
in the Hall of Fame, man, and so this is
just like, oh yeah, well, let me show you. And
he becomes more contankerous with the way he deals with
the public every passing day. He becomes more contankerous and
old and I'm rich and everyone can suck it.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
It just becomes more and more intense every week. Well,
we'll be.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Talking about it throughout the show. We'll get back into
it at four o'clock. The whole five o'clock hour, we're
going to talk about it. We'll do a deep dive
and we'll be watching all of this as things develop. Hell,
maybe they get a deal done and everybody makes up,
but who knows.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
I like that all right?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Coming up in just over three minutes, where are you
gonna take us? And Things Skin is Tracking? Okay, I
want to talk about this specific type of hotel.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
And I went back in time last night another edition
of things Skin is Tracking. All right, I got two
things for you, Ben, I'll start with you.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
We talked about this yesterday because KT went to just
go see the new Nicked Gun last night.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
We'll talk about it. I got in bed last night
at ten o'clock and Naked Gun was on. It was
just starting.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Oh nice, have you seen it in a while? No,
it's been a long time, all right. So it came
out in nineteen eighty eight. I couldn't remember exactly when
it came out.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
I knew we were in high school. I watched it
and I laughed quite a bit. It held up. It's
I mean, yes for what it is. Yes, And that's
your hero, ojsoner Oja man. He was so good. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
And there's a scene with oj at the beginning of
the movie that is insanely funny.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
It's that whole naked gun style of humor.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
So he busts in on this drug deal on a
boat and he tries to kick in the door, and
so his foot goes through the door, and so there's
like eight guys and they all pick up their guns
and they're waiting for him, and then he walks in
and then all eight guys just shoot him and fill him.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Full of bullet. She's like, oh.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
And then he accidentally falls and touches his hand on
hot stove, and then he screens, and then he accidentally
leans on wet paint and it gets on his goes,
oh no, and then he steps into bear traff and
snaps on his escalation. Each horrible thing after after he's
been shot a hundred times, it's just it. So I'm like,

(10:21):
that was the first thing I saw. I was like,
I'm watching this man. I'm gonna stick it out tonight.
But we'll hear what Kat thinks of the new nickead
gun coming up in the next segment.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
And then one more thing for you. I saw this
when I was reading the news this morning. So J. C.
Penny had moved to Plano a million years ago.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
You're right, Corporate headquarters, and when it first went there,
it's just kind of out in the sticks. Well now
it's like pretty damn close to Legacy West. And I
saw that a Japanese luxury hotel is going in where
the old J. C.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Penny was, And I looked on the map. I was like, dude,
that's like a stone's throw from Legacy West.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
A Japanese interval speedwalking hotel is going in at Legacy West.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
You left out the word luxury.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
It's gonna have the highest rooftop bar outside of downtown Dallas.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
And I think about this all. I think about this
all the time.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Like when you're driving down one twenty one or the
toll way and you drive up to where Legacy West
is and there's all that.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
It's like a second mini downtown.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Like if you drive in and look at it, That's
what it's like driving into downtown Tulsa or something like that.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
It's like a regional it's like a downtown for a
mid size American city.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Uh, but we have it in Plano, Frisco. Can anybody
go to it? Or is it just for our Japanese friends. Well,
it's specifically.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
There's a lot of our Japanese friends that come here
that are Japanese businessmen.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
What's this guy's deal? What is this guy's deal?

Speaker 3 (11:50):
But it gives those guys a chance to like when
they fly in for business. It's got Japanese luxury. Yeah,
and a little bit of a Texas twaying, right, And
that might be a less than zero opportunity for KT
to entertain some Japanese businessmen while they're in town. I
would love for you to take some Japanese businessmen and
watch less than zero.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
And do some interval speed walking. Yes, dude, with them.
I'm doing a different style work. I've been doing the
bankcock power walk.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Oh is that right? It's walking away from legal authorities
that are in talking to you.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
By the way, I was going to take a day
off from Japanese interval walking today.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Uh maya shot me. The text was like are we
going or what? Uh huh? It's like, all right, let's go.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Is it up to anyone to decide when you ramp
it up and start speedwalking and power farting.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
No, it's power farting the whole time. It's three minute intervals,
so you start. Got the clock, I got the clock.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Uh huh, but you start walk because you don't want
to speed walk out the gate. Yeah, three minute, pull
a Hammy, paul a Hammy, and it's just laid out
there for you.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
It's thirty minutes. I wonder if people are getting walking injuries.
There's audio. Let's let's hear it. Let's I want to
hear when you speed up, I'm getting anal fish it
going slow? Okay, alarm goes off? Yeah yeah, okay, Oh no,
I lifted my leg okay, Luxury hotel yep. And where's

(13:08):
this gonna be. It's gonna be off of Legacy.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
How Legacy turns and touch it and get so if
you take Legacy over the toll way, it'll eventually take
you to one to twenty one.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Hell yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
So it's just right over there. It's not far from
all that's going on in the colony. And you know
all that Brandscape, all of that, Yeah, right by Legacy West.
It's halfway between like Legacy West and Grand Scape. My
next big trip is to Japan. Oh dude, going to Japan. Next,
I'm gonna go to every Japanese kiss I can find there.

(13:38):
You have it all right, there's things skin is tracking
coming up next in the Hollywood shuffle KT.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
How do you want to tease this? I saw a
new movie last night, and I think you should too.
Oh next, Juicy US, Hot Gods, every.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Stay Out Top.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Woot shovel.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
I don't want to brad guys, but I saw a
new movie last night and uh, Fantastic four.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
No, that was heavily promoted in the theater I went to.
My daughter went to that said she only fell asleep once.
That's good.

Speaker 4 (14:17):
I usually fall a sip once or twice in those
superhero movies things. He just gets soft for a minute
before they get loud.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
They're not nuts.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Let me tell you a movie that doesn't get soft ever.
It is the one hour and twenty five minute masterpiece
that is the New Naked Gun A Man. It's awesome. Yes,
it's so good, and I knew I would like it probably,
you know what, Comedies have been dying, and that's been
a real sad thing for me. And I am not
telling I'm always go to the theater guy, just because

(14:45):
I don't want to give up on it yet. But
watching a comedy movie with a crowd of people is
still awesome.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Good crowd, and you don't do that anymore. It was decent.
It was like half fool but like okay for a theater.
Yeah yeah, so like you got people, the inner lap
lap is contagious. Did you laugh louder than anyone around you,
like scat at that numb show purposefully?

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah? No, I threw my popcorn up. I thought it's
kind of a slapstick night. It's very good.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
You'll never get bored. It's the thing about it.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
There's a scene in this movie, and I don't want
to give too much away, so I'll just say, if
you're gonna go watch for it this weekend, uh, thermal
glasses are gonna come into play.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
It is the hardest I've laughed in a long time,
especially at the theater. I mean, like when we saw Friendship,
which is a comedy. It's like a tense, dark comedy
Rudd and Tim Robinson.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
I laughed a lot. And there's some things that just
just stuck with me.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
But this scene with Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson a dog.
The actor by the name of Kevin durand seriously it's
his name. He's spying on them through He's on a across.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
The sh street in the high rise.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
He's spying on them through a building and he's seeing
what they're doing through thermal binoculars.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
And the way they're standing it looks like they're doing
something together and the dog comes in.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
It's so funny. So there that's I was like, I'm happy, Like,
how is Liam Neeson in it?

Speaker 4 (16:18):
He's great and he gets better as it went on,
so that it's something I kind of noticed. I know
these scenes aren't shot in the same order, but I
noticed about halfway through the movie. I was like, Okay,
I'm really buying him doing the Leslie Nielsen straight role
and he's playing Frank Dreben's son.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
The other guy who's really good is his his sidekick
from you Know the Naked Gun is his son, and
this one is played by.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Paul Walter Houser p w H. For movie people. He's
very funny, big guy. You've seen him in some things,
but he's done a lot. He's in serious roles. He's
done a few funny things. He's great. They had a
gun there.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
Who had to play the role of OJ's dad road son, Yeah, yeah,
oj Son.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
What's the name Nemhar Yeah, yeah, something like that.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
They handled that within the first five minutes of the movie,
and it's good.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Did they like reference that anything about the O J
case or anything, or to just keep it go into it.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
But they basically, and I read an interview afterwards, they
kind of break the fourth wall and they didn't want
to do that, but they're like, we got it, we're
all thinking it. So they do it in the first
five minutes. But then we're back to the movie.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
It's great.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
It stacks up and it's it's gonna be worth seeing
again because there's easter eggs.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
I know I missed.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
I really want kt to see the First Naked Gun.
Now I need to watch it in full and not
as a six year old. Yeah, just sit down and
watch it.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Tell it's same thing. It's like an hour and a half.
Did Liam Neeson do anything with the particular set of skills?
Tons like, did he say that line? No, he didn't
do that line. I thought you were talking about something else. Okay, yes, John,
you know it's great.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
Pamla Anderson, Yeah, she was really good in the And
the storyline for a movie like this, you don't think
is matters too much.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
The storyline they came up with is great. Is it
better than unique. It's something I'd never really thought of.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Is it better than Ricardo Montabon assassinating the Queen of
England to get twenty million dollars from a guy named
mister pap Smear.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
I'm gonna say I'm actually gonna say yes because I
can remember that.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Okay, Yeah, truly interesting, fantastic saty KT. Yeah, that's great.
It's great to hear that.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
There.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
It is a very positive movie review from Kevin KT
Turner for Naked Gun.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Right, coming up in just over three or four minutes
a news segment, Are you offended? Sidney Sweeney is in
the news and apparently everyone's furious about it. We'll talk
about that next, but before we do, we are joined
here in person by our good friend Thomas O'Sullivan, the
director of marketing for the Chalk Talk is seen on
Resort Durant, Oklahoma. Yeah, and Thomas, this is big because
you guys gave away a million dollars on Saturday, June seventh.

(18:56):
You came back and he gave away another million dollars
on Saturday July fifth, and now tomorrow somebody has another
chance to come out here and just have a great
time at the Chalk Talk Casino and Resort, Durant, Oklahoma,
and one person at one am Saturday night slash early
Sunday morning is going to win one million dollars.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Again, that's right.

Speaker 5 (19:16):
Our third winner, How crazy is this? Right? Three people,
three million dollars. We're the only casino in the country
doing it like this. And I can promise you that
I've done this all over the country. How I've done
it out side of the country. We're the only ones
that do it this way. It's amazing. It's a once
in a lifetime opportunity. We've actually retired two people. I
don't know if you guys have heard this story yet.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
No, the Prosper ladies.

Speaker 5 (19:37):
So our first winner from Prosper, she was retired trying
to figure out what to do next, said I got
a million dollars.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
I'm done. I don't have to figure out next.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
Well, then our next winner comes up brings her husband,
a law enforcement officer for the Dallist area. Yes, I
asked her, what are you gonna do with your million dollars?
She says, I'm retiring this man right here.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
That's awesome. How cool is that?

Speaker 5 (19:58):
Right?

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Super cool man?

Speaker 5 (20:00):
And then both of them have made their donations for
ten thousand dollars to the charity of their choice, so
we're gonna be heading out checks here soon for that.
Richardson ISD has ten thousand dollars come in their way.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Yeah that's where we went.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Yeah, that's rest and then Collin County College is getting
a ten thousand dollars check from our second winner. So
we'll see who our third winner chooses. But it really
is just an amazing opportunity. It changes lives in so
many ways, and now we're able to push that into
the community as well. It's been an amazing summer. We're
thrilled to be wrapping up with our third winner tomorrow night.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Three months, three millionaires. It gets wrapped up tomorrow night.
So you stop talking.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
To get up here and have a chance to win.
You got to be a Rewards club member. Now it's
really easy. Like where we are, we're right outside the
district by the league, So when you walk in, there's
a Rewards Club station. I know that there's several Rewards
Club stations around here, right.

Speaker 5 (20:47):
Yes, I've got Rewards Club stations on every floor, literally
two dozen plus places to get a card completely free.
You get that card, and if you haven't played yet
this month, you haven't earned entries, it's okay. There's still time.

the incredible food, the good times, the laughs, whether you're

That's tomorrow night. That's right.

Speaker 5 (22:06):
No, Wayne Brady, Sorry, Wayne Brady is at by their
property in Grant Tomorrow's our million dollar give way. Then
it's counting crows.

EA the listeners.

Speaker 1 (23:34):

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Our homie Thomas from right here at the Chalks gos
Or and Durant, Oklahoma, thank you for everything.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
Thank you guys for being here. You have helped make
this an amazing summery. We truly appreciate your.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Partnershoh my god, we love being here. It's so easy.
All right, there you go.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
More reasons come out to the Choctalk Casino on Resort
and Durant, Oklahoma. Coming up in just a couple of minutes,
we will get into the whole controversy with Sidney Sweeney
right here on the Eagle. I've been in skin show
from the Chalk Talk Casino and Resort in Durant, Oklahoma.
Thank you for hanging out with us today. Coming up
at four o'clock, we'll get back into the big story
of the day. Micah Parsons demands a trade. What does

(24:12):
it all mean?

Speaker 1 (24:13):
But right now it's time for this. If you're the
kind of person that's going to be offended, you're a
dumb ass. Go somewhere else. I love America, all right,
Are you offended? Hell yeah?

Speaker 4 (24:30):
One of the big topics of the week and in
the world for some reason, is the Sydney Sweeney ad
for American Eagle.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Yeah, she's a denim down and uh, American Eagles going
with Sidney Sweeney has great genes.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
J E. A. N. S.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
As the marketing line. It's pretty good. They're being punny.
They're being punny.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
But people are offended because they're like saying, wait, are
you saying that jeans of someone who's blonde with blue eyes,
those are the superior genes?

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Is that what you're saying? Or would you have just
used that pun no matter who it was.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
That's basically what's happening here. And I'm not just sure
who specifically is getting upset. I've not encountered that with
anybody that.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
I know, or I don't interact with anybody who cares.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Right, It seems like a waste of time because then
you're getting into this whole thing of like, wait a minute,
you're really upset that you're not saying she's the only
person in the world that has great genes. You're saying
she has great genes. You're not saying she has great genes,

(25:41):
and Beyonce doesn't have great genes. Yeah, you're saying this
particular person has great genes. And this is obviously you know,
everybody has their own opinions on what they do or
don't find attractive. I think it's pretty easy to say
she and ugly no matter what you're into. It's not like, oh,
this this person is hideous. She's an attractive person by

(26:03):
pretty much any measurement. You may think she's not as
attractive as Oh, that's fine, but no one's saying she's
the only attractive person. They're saying she's got great genes,
just like Beyonce has great genes or Eva Longoria. I
think she has great genes. I think she's blessed. I mean,
what are we doing. It's like you said, you've said

(26:23):
this before. You have to choose to be offended. And
sometimes people selectively choose to be offended because it fits
a political narrative that they have and they want to
reinforce that narrative, and they swerve over eight lanes of
traffic to run over somebody changing a tire on the
side of the road just so they can try to
make a political stance of some kind, and just to
throw in.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
There, am I missing some other part of the story. No.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
In the video, she says trait jenes are often passed
down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality,
and even eye color. My jeens are blue, and then
she's you know, she's denimed out and American eagles at all.
They don't really have great jeans, honestly. So that's that's
my take.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
It didn't look like it didn't look like the dnim
I would Christina, who great? Yeah? Okay?

Speaker 3 (27:12):
So and Kat said they don't make great jeans for men.
But there was one time he made Christina turn around
in an elevator so we could see.

Speaker 6 (27:19):
Her jeans, and those were not American Eagle, actually, the
one pair that are not American.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
So KT doesn't like America. That's the first time he
noticed her genes when they weren't American eagle.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
I'm sorry. He asked Skin to turn around, so he
Skins jets, I'm sorry, do you uh.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
So those American eagle jeans, the ones you have where
all the bedazzler is all up and down the side
and on the back pocket, is that American eagle too?

Speaker 7 (27:42):
You're not talking to me, it's I don't own those.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
No, all right, uh yeah, so whatever. I think everyone
needs to get over everything and just to relax. We're
all gonna die. I talked over a great show.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
You say that again, Nah, I forgot all right. Coming up,
we go around the sports. The biggest story in the
world is Micah. But the Rangers were busy at the
trade deadline. Lots discuss We'll do that coming up next.
Spending Skin Show broadcasting live today from the Chalk Talk
Casino and Resort Durant, Oklahoma.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
So happy to be here today.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Good times for being at We're having all the good times.
And uh you know, we must be near the pool
that was like a sight gag. Must be near the
pool that there's the fake Tim McMahon right there. We're
having a good time.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
I guess I missed it.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
The Chalk Talk Casino in the Resort Rant, Oklahoma. Somebody's
gonna win a million dollars tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Night, probably her.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
It's Sunday morning. Actually at one am. You got to
have her awards club card. But dude, yesterday and really
in the past week, you've been a walking, farting infomercial
for Macha Tea.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Oh yeah, dude, tried my first one yesterday? How did
it work out? Loved it?

Speaker 5 (29:00):
Go?

Speaker 1 (29:00):
How'd you get it?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
I went to Starbucks. I've now purchased three of them
in that time. I had two more today, and if
we were closer to the Starbucks here at chuck To,
I would run over there and get another one.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
It's it's like, did you get oat milk?

Speaker 3 (29:15):
I did half and half on one, low fat milk
in another, and I did two splinters in one. Then
I did sugar free vanilla and another.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Nice. I'm a guy like I I this is a
weird thing. Like I like wheat grass shots. Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Like you go to smoothie place, Erica, why do you
have that grass behind the counter. Oh, we do wheat
grass shots. And I'm like, for whatever reason, I like that. Yeah,
And so that's what this is.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
Like.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
This is like lawn flavored milk. It's lawn flavored milk.
It's it's earthy in that way, and.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
It's so much healthier than coffee, and it's I'm excited
about it. So there's three things that that you've referred
to me that were great. One when you when you
referred dude wipes.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Number two Macha Yeah, and number three jumbo condoms that
brand you gave me about that was perfect. So you've
referred three things to me and none of those worked
for KT for different reasons.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
KT. Yeah, I mean I like all the space to
move around in him. But right now it's time for
this sports Ktun Queens has on the sports.

Speaker 4 (30:26):
We'll probably spent a large part of the five o'clock
hour talking about the news that Michael Parsons has put
out a statement on Twitter and says that he personally
told Stephen Jones that he wants to trade. He basically
said in a statement that he's in his feelings about
things right now and that he doesn't want to be
a Dallas Cowboy anymore. He wanted to be, But I
think it's like a negotiating tactic. I think we'll get

(30:49):
into a lot of that at five and maybe a
little bit here. The Cowboys, though in the last hour
or so, have signed Lyle Collins and.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
Then your face, Micah. It's being listed as an offensive tackle.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
Remember, our left tackle has a bone fractures out four
to six weeks, right, I'm wondering if that's what they're
thinking to get by Tyler Smith can play left tackle.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
He played there in college. He's an All Pro guard.
Ye him right.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
It's interesting to me all the reports of that Lowell
has been in great shape. And honestly, how old do
you guys think Lyle Collins is.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
I bet he's like thirty and it just seems like
he's way older. I was gonna say thirty two. Just
done thirty two and off. It's a lineman and you
can kind of play, Yeah, you can play longer long.
But he while he.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Didn't make the Bengal of the Bills last year, he
signed up, got cut, didn't make the team.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
So I wonder if this was DAK since their best
friends saying, hey, man, Lyle's in great shape, what about him?

Speaker 1 (31:46):
And if before you.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Get mad about him, you should also know Dak's responsible
for their best player, Brandon Aubrey. Oh yeah, because Brandon
Aubrey is just you know, Dak's best friend is the
kicker whisper, the guy that teaches people how to be
badass kickers, and Brandon Aubrey was his guy.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
Aubrey is so good.

Speaker 3 (32:04):
I'd probably give him some snaps at running back this year.
I don't think you need to get they could.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
He's so good.

Speaker 4 (32:11):
You can't take the the accidental hit, the excruciating right
leg injury, and then he can't kick field goals for
it anymore.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
That's not worth it. Was he able to run between
the tackles, That's all I want to know. You know
you lost your.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
Football credibility when you said that they wouldn't give Zeke
the ball on first down.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
And then they started the season. I think I nailed
that to Rewrack to training camp.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
I'd like to I've been in a while. I wouldn't
have made that prediction had I been at camp. Should
we tell people what happened? Why we almost fell off
the radio?

Speaker 1 (32:45):
I missed it. We gotta be careful. Those are the
biggest naturals ever ever. It's fun to people watch, obviously,
and there's a lot of people coming here to have fun.
And we must be near a pool because we've had
two people buying bathing suits already. We're actually that's what's
so fun is we're not near the pool.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
Okay, okay, what comes around goes back around again.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
I want to see the look on their face when.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
I just think that's the important thing about these negotiations.

Speaker 1 (33:19):
Yep, that's the most important thing. Sir, what are you
laughing at them? A listener right there? What's that guy doing?
That was shocking?

Speaker 5 (33:27):
Right?

Speaker 3 (33:30):
Your neck?

Speaker 1 (33:30):
Your neck hurts now, doesn't it? The first question you
can hear you? Yep, all right, that was Oh my god,
Hey sir, there like triple JS.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
Yeah, I mean we're we're professionals, but they even that
just pushing the limits what we're talking about.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
All right, let's put this guy in the air real quick.
Here you go, pop this headset on. Let's be ready.
Christ Game ever that seventy two Christmas Eve game Chiefs
and Dolphins. Yeah, yeah, Greasy Dawson, all those guys, Jasty
Dawson is on. Thank you very much, Thank you, sir,
Appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
Yes, all right, this is the world famous ben At
Skit Show broadcasting line from the Chalk Talk Casino and
Resort and Durant, Oklahoma. We'll get back into the Mica
stuff the whole five o'clock hour we're dedicating to a
deep dive into this latest Dallas Cowboys drama.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
But in just over three minutes where you're gonna take us,
kat dude. The Rangers put their nuts on the table yesterday.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
Yep, they sure did. And we'll talk about it in
a few minutes before friends. Another great Friday afternoon at
the Chalk Tawk Casino and Resort in Durant, Oklahoma, where
tomorrow night they're going to get their final Millionaire of
the month Crown three months, three Millionaires, the four point
eight million dollars summer giveaway here at the Chalk Taw
Casino in Resort during Oklahoma.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
You still have time to make it up for the
weekend coming up.

Speaker 3 (34:51):
At the bottom of the hour, we have a week
day update and there is a story that Kat is
tracking that you really need to know about. More details
on that shortly, But right now, let's get into the
Ranger action of the day, because the Texas Rangers are
making moves.

Speaker 4 (35:06):
Yeah, they decided not to do nothing. They made three
trades yesterday at the deadline. In fact, it was the
most trades ever at the MLB trade deadline. There were
thirty six trades today in baseball history. Yes, wow, And
I don't think I knew that made three of them.
So you know, the Mariners made trade for a good hitter.
The Astros brought Carlos Korea back.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
Did see that?

Speaker 4 (35:27):
Because the Twins are like don't have any money, and
he's not the same player he once was, but he's
still you know, he's okay. And you know everyone thought
the Rangers were gonna bad.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
They didn't.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
They got two bullpen arms, which is need number one
for me. They needed to get the bullpen fixed.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Do you like the guys they got? Uh? So, what
I know about him?

Speaker 2 (35:44):
I do?

Speaker 1 (35:44):
And one guy I used to picture the Astros.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
His name is Phil Maton, which you can have a
lot of fun with his last name if your first
name is Phil.

Speaker 5 (35:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
And then the other guy is really good. His name's Kolom,
which is kind of tough with left hander. They like
four or five good bullpen arms now without one closer
and kind of figure it out. We won a World
Series with Chapman Well Clerk one night, Josh Spores one night,
and then the starter they got is excellent.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Now it's just a rental.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
His name's Meryl Kelly, and they gave up a lot
to give him. But he is the one who won
the Game two of.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
The World Series against the Rangers few years ago.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
That was the one that shocked me because I didn't
think they were even looking for starting pitching. They give
up three top fifteen prospects for a half season of
a starter.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
Yeah, but it means it shows they're serious. It shows
they mean business.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
And I saw that, I wondered if it meant are
they nervous about de Grom? Are they nervous about anybody else?

Speaker 1 (36:36):
Are they?

Speaker 3 (36:37):
Or are they just like, look, we have an opportunity
to get a really good starter. I mean, what number
starter would he be in a playoff series?

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Four?

Speaker 4 (36:44):
Three Meryl Kelly, I mean, and this three here because
of Youvaldi and de Grom. But I also think they
can go okay, Kumar Rocker can be a closer in
the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Like there's things.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
He was great until he wasn't and then what they
just went a little bit too long with him last night.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
Yeah, he's that's kind of how he's he's kind of
going through it his first season. But he was a
starter fivenut. But maybe that's his thing. Maybe he can't
go through the lineup multiple times. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
I think it's like it's just so early to know,
and you've got value with him as the starter, but
when you get in the playoffs and all it does,
all that matters is winning these games in front of me.
Now you got to get there, And a lot of
people said that, but dude, they're so close in the
wild card. They are a game behind the Mariners, right,
you know they got two more with him here and
the Astros, I think, you know, you have a chance
to catch them.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
So like, I love that they went for it.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
John Daniels always went for it always, And I like
this whole mood of the mode of like, let's go
because guess what if it doesn't work out?

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Okay, well you can reevaluate your thing. You're feeling kind
of old. Maybe you can talk.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
About trading Corey Seeger, I don't know if he's got
you know, no trade clause. You can talk about trading
Marcus Simmy, and you can talk about trading of these guys.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
But you might as well go for it now. You
might as well.

Speaker 4 (37:54):
You have to go for it, and you're so close,
like you you'd go And your manager is seventy five,
however old he is, and he's like this could be
his last.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Season, and you're all over him, you're you're and dude,
do you owe him an apology? He's turned things around
personally without.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
His personal life. Yeah, yeah, personal try to win the game.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
That's what we do.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
We try to win the games. Kevin, he is turning
into a big animator.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
Hell.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
The outrageous from fans is why didn't we get a bat?
We need a batter.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Offense sucks. I'm like, well, hold on, hold on, hold on,
No offense did set for the first three months. Over
the last month, you're the third best offensive team in
the American League.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Yeah, and so like the star break they've been hitting. Yeah,
Simeon is amazing. Dude, it looked like he was done.
Now he's their best hitter.

Speaker 4 (38:37):
Most of these guys have track records. You don't think
White Langford sucks. So like I was like, there's a
there's a way to like kind of figure all this out.
And if a bat did wasn't there for you, then okay,
then go get pitching and improve that.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
I love it. I don't.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
I don't have a single reservation about anything Chris Young
does in regards to pitching, right, And there wasn't a
single person alive going into the season that didn't think
our offense was gonna be great. Sometimes bats go dormant,
but to your point, they're fine. Now, Like we kept
waiting for it to turn around. It's not like it's
not there. Historically, it's there.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
Historically it has in the pitching has continued to be
absolutely dominant. So it could be a fun year for
the Rangers. But they did go all in, they did
go for it, so good for them.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
All right, Coming up next, don't forget at five o'clock,
bringing it back into the biggest story of the day,
the Micah Parsons trade demand. We'll give you the latest
with regard to that, with cussing the Cowboys the five
o'clock hour.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
But coming up next, we're you gonna take his KT.

Speaker 4 (39:33):
Well, someone who's been in the news a lot has
just been transported to Texas.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
We'll give you the details next year, all right.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
The big story of the day is that Micah Parsons
has demanded a trade from the Dallas Cowboys. It is
a drama that just never ceases. It is a dumpster fire,
It is a circus. But hey, that brand valuation continues
to skyrocket. We'll talk Dallas Cowboys in the five o'clock hour,
but before we move forward, you know, we're super proud
of our show. We're grateful for everyone who's a listener.

(40:01):
We're really not proud of ourselves with myself Skinner Katie,
but we're proud of one member of our show. We
actually do have a talented badass on our show. It's
Christina Kray, little Baby corn Bread Ray, and she is
in a popular local Nirvana cover band called Oatmeal Pizza.
Some people call it Oatmeal Pizza Blanket, some people just
call it Oatmeal Pizza and Christine, I always like to

(40:21):
ask you on a Friday night if you guys are gigging,
because if you are, I want to promote it.

Speaker 5 (40:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (40:25):
No, not tonight, but tomorrow we are playing in Fort
Worth at Cicada. I believe doors are at seven.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (40:32):
You should get there at seven or eight.

Speaker 6 (40:34):
And let's see who else is playing with us and
Shaty Hawkins in the Night Shift and Depression Nap as well.

Speaker 7 (40:39):
It's gonna be a fun time.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Are you guys gonna do any Nirvana songs?

Speaker 7 (40:43):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (40:44):
I believe so at least one bad question, Ben, I
think that's a bad question.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
I mean, how many songs are you guys doing tomorrow?

Speaker 7 (40:54):
Man fifteen, I don't know, an Hour's.

Speaker 1 (40:58):
Beaten Down, I bet Josh.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
Most of them, most of the Martin Nirvana songs, but
that you don't know.

Speaker 1 (41:06):
They could throw curveball to the crowd. She messed around
and did a Pixie song one time. It's right, But
you asked, are they going to do any Nirvana songs?
We won't know what I asked. We listened to tape.
We really won't know.

Speaker 3 (41:17):
But also they could be doing just all the songs
that Nirvana did that were covers, right, they could do
Man Who Sold the World.

Speaker 1 (41:26):
Yeah, they could be doing like some of that. She says,
they're playing fifteen songs.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
She regrets interacting with us on every level, and she
should and she's awesome. So go see Oatmeal Pizza tomorrow
night so you can watch Christina Carie a little baby
corn bread shred. The Today Games coming up, followed by
the Michael Parsons News.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
But right now it's time for this Are you Excited?

Speaker 4 (41:45):
And featuring veteran news anchor Katie's fun tweets. Top story
today is Oatmel Pizza will be playing at the Cicada
tomorrow night and we'll be playing Nirvana songs.

Speaker 1 (41:59):
Uh okay, norm.

Speaker 7 (42:03):
So, uh, this is weird.

Speaker 1 (42:05):
It's in the news. This this lady who is in Florida.
In jail, she had a twenty year sentence. Her name
is Gilaine. It's spelled weird though spelled like jis Land.

Speaker 4 (42:15):
Yeah, Gallaine Maxwell has been moved from Florida closer to US.
They moved her to Texas.

Speaker 1 (42:25):
I don't like that. Why man, because she smells bad?
I don't that may be true.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
I don't really spend a lot of time visiting prisoners,
you know, Okay, so you should.

Speaker 1 (42:35):
Do more often. Bud gets a perspective. She was like
the the main groomer right for Epstein.

Speaker 3 (42:42):
She she'd go out and like the way all these
stories unfold, she went and did the initial contacting, right,
I saw really underaged humans, right, yeah?

Speaker 1 (42:53):
Like fully, so she's evil. She's evil, and she's in
jail for it.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
Apparently, though she's been moved to brianxas and gig him
at Brian Yeah coast to college station.

Speaker 2 (43:04):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (43:05):
There's also in that in that.

Speaker 4 (43:08):
Facility is the founder of Thorns or theranosth Holmes.

Speaker 1 (43:16):
Right, didnt y'all watch the TV show on Oh? Yeah
wait she's in jail?

Speaker 3 (43:19):
Oh yeah, uh okay, Oh she was the one who
did the fake blood test company.

Speaker 1 (43:24):
Yes, yeahs is there too, Like with the Five Rings,
it's actually Josh Brolin, which is weird. MAT's Matt. Yeah,
so she's been moving there.

Speaker 4 (43:34):
He did say in her interviews she had a day
and a half of interviews and she mentioned one hundred people.
So we're getting a little closer to finding out. Aaron
Rodgers wants to know, remember when he wanted to know?

Speaker 3 (43:46):
Yeah, he deserves it, But you wonder what, how credible
can a person like that be that's already in jail
and just trying to get out, right, Yeah, she's clearly
angling for a pardon.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
She let it be known.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
I'd love to be part right, every criminal would, so
why don't I? And then you know, this is the
whole thing.

Speaker 1 (44:05):
It's like.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
The whole thing of a pardon has been changed. It's
now a bargaining tool. Biden used it, Trump used it.
It's a bargaining chip now, and that subverts justice.

Speaker 4 (44:18):
They always was that way, though, right, I mean, yeah,
when they pardon that Turkey, it's about the same. Do
y'all see the huge lightning strike, the record lightning strike happened.

Speaker 1 (44:32):
Did y'all know this? No, this is nuts to me.

Speaker 4 (44:34):
This is a lightning strike that was five hundred and
fifteen miles long and it crossed three straight three states. What, Yeah,
a record lightning bolt. That's not a lightning bolt. That's
the end of the world.

Speaker 1 (44:47):
It made us think about Zeus.

Speaker 4 (44:48):
The other day it was a five hundred and fifteen
mile long flash that covered three states.

Speaker 3 (44:55):
So the actual I don't know crap about lightning bolts,
but it touched down.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
We're there's no way scientists.

Speaker 3 (45:05):
I think there's just some guy goes, I bet that
one was about five hundred and fifteen miles they went
from Is that a record?

Speaker 1 (45:10):
I reckon it is? It went from eastern Texas to
Kansas City.

Speaker 4 (45:14):
Right, it would have taken eight hours by car to
drive the link to that lightning bolt.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
Now, the average lightning bolt, how long is the average
lightning bolt?

Speaker 4 (45:22):
Is?

Speaker 5 (45:23):
What do you mean?

Speaker 4 (45:23):
How long?

Speaker 1 (45:24):
Like how long it lasts? It's like, how long is it?
Oh mile? And the third two miles? Ten miles? That's
just an average one. Yeah, we don't know enough about lightning.

Speaker 3 (45:35):
And I agree, And you know, I've always wondered if, like,
if aliens wanted to come to Earth, wouldn't they just
create fake storms and then everyone's like, oh, I can't
see in the sky right now. So they could fly
into whatever they wanted doing that, they got camouflage, and
he also could transport them in lightning bolts.

Speaker 1 (45:55):
This is whether warfare. He kind of sounds like Marjorie
Taylor Green right now. I kind of look like her
Man space lasers. You get those things going. I'm telling you, man,
what Jewish space laser? Yes, she was blaming Epstein for it.
I think I don't know. I guess the story just
came full. I don't understand anything that's moving on down ride.

(46:17):
You're in Oklahoma, all right?

Speaker 3 (46:18):
The cuss of the Cowboys segments coming up. The biggest
news of the day Micah Parsons demands of trade.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
We'll get into that at five o'clock. Cowboy Surprise.

Speaker 4 (46:45):
So before the show, Michael Parsons put out a pretty
long statement on Twitter.

Speaker 1 (46:49):
Read all of it. I don't read all of you.
I want to read the first part. Yes, I wanted
to be here.

Speaker 4 (46:54):
I did everything I couldn't show that. I wanted to
be a cowboy where the star on the helmet. I
wanted to play in front of the best fans in
sports and make this American's team once again, make America's
team great again, the team that dad cheered for growing up.
And then he says, unfortunately, I no longer want to
be here. Aw I no longer want to be held
to closed door note negotiations without my agent present. I

(47:14):
no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured
while laying it on the line for the organization and
our fans and teammates. And I no longer what narratives
created and spread to.

Speaker 1 (47:21):
The media about me.

Speaker 4 (47:23):
I purposely stayed quiet and hopes of getting something done
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. And then he
formally says that he personally put in a trade request
to Stephen Jones. Not well sure the logistics of that,
but either way.

Speaker 3 (47:35):
Pulled him aside on the practice field. Hey, Stephen, I
want to be traded.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
Which probably real quick.

Speaker 4 (47:40):
I just want to say, Mike is under contract for
this year for twenty four million dollars, so he is.

Speaker 1 (47:45):
It's good money. That's what the Cowboys can tell you too,
Like right, you can go play. This is this is
bad on many levels.

Speaker 3 (47:52):
Look, he gets into kind of how things have gone
on his contract and we've heard some of this, but
he basically spilled the beans on everything. And he said,
you know, I came to them after my third year
and I told my agent I want to be a cowboy.
And his agent's like, no, wait, there's some big pass
rushers that are gonna get paid ahead of you, and
every time one of them gets paid, you'll get a raise.
And he's like, no, I don't even care about that.

(48:13):
I just want to be a cowboy. So we had
heard he would have signed for thirty three thirty four
to thirty five million dollars a year last year, and
now you know they're looking at forty two million something
like that is what it's going to cost it least
or a year at least maybe forty three forty four, right,
or if you piss a guy off, maybe it's gonna
take fifty million a year to get him stay. Because
he said Ben in that post, he said, you know

(48:34):
that his agent said, no, let's not sign now. Wait
and once everybody signs, we'll sign after that. So that
tells you exactly what they would be asking for with
the agent if they didn't do the deal when Michael
wanted to do so Michaeh wants to do a deal,
give the Cowboys a discount, get his security, you know,
get his future secured early, and I'm not worried about
squeezing every penny. And then the Cowboys went dark on

(48:55):
him and didn't even communicate. And then the first time
he gets a chance to really communicate with them, it's
it's to talk about leadership. So he's talking to Jerry
Jones about leadership and it's a.

Speaker 1 (49:04):
One on one or whatever.

Speaker 3 (49:06):
Well, somehow in that conversation, Jerry brings up the contract.
So now they're talking contract. Jerry's like, well, just you know,
me and you talking here, what are you looking for?
What would you really like to get out of this deal?

Speaker 1 (49:17):
Oh? This is what I want, Jerry.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
I want this, this, and this, and you don't really
want to break the bank. Do you want us to
be able to afford to pay other good players around you?

Speaker 1 (49:25):
Right? Micah?

Speaker 2 (49:26):
Right?

Speaker 1 (49:26):
Yeah, well yeah, Jerry, Okay, well good, we're on the
same page.

Speaker 3 (49:30):
So then Micah's agent reaches back out to the Cowboys
and says, hey, we're ready to negotiate, and they're like,
what are you talking about? Jerry and Micah negotiated the
deal already, there's we got a done deal, there's nothing
to negotiate.

Speaker 1 (49:41):
Thanks for reaching out to see you later, you know.
And this is the way that Mike is presenting it.
And if this is actually what they thought that was
going to happen, one of the problems for the Cowboys
fan moving forward is that incredibly arrogant people have become
even more arrogant, and the idea that you really think

(50:04):
that the agent, you can just disregard the agent and
the players just gonna sign without you. Jerry said he
didn't know his name. I know, I'm just saying, but
that that was his way of being arrogant. Katie. It's
insulting and one of our other players. I said this
on the air the other.

Speaker 3 (50:23):
Day because I really had I'd never thought anything like
this before, but I was really having these thoughts where
I was like, man, I would love for Mica just
to go somewhere else, just to tell the Cowboys how
horrible they are and how horrible they treat people. And
the thing is that it's like bothersome about this to
me is in this level of elitism, is I don't
think they think they're treating people like trash they're so there.

(50:46):
They've they've elevated themselves to such a degree. They used
to kind of at least present this sort of like
Arkansas folksiness, and now that they're worth ten billion or
whatever it is, they don't exude that at all anymore.
Now they're just elites that sound like hillbillies. And it's
like they've become so unlikable to me. And I used

(51:10):
to really enjoy when we'd have Jerry on the show
and all that, but the direction it continually goes like,
I'm not delusional about sports.

Speaker 1 (51:18):
This is why you know, I was upset about the
Luca trade.

Speaker 3 (51:21):
I love Luca, but I follow other teams and so
I realize when different ownership groups come in, things change.
But for the Cowboys, we've been doing sports talk the
entire time we've done it. The Cowboys have been owned
by Jerry Jones, and there's been this whole way in
which they do things. And I've always liked Jerry, and
we like those parties and things. But over the last

(51:41):
three or four years, to me personally, they've just become
increasingly more unrelatable and unlikable.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
And this whole thing is, I'm like.

Speaker 3 (51:49):
This guy wants to be a cowboy, and you're trying
so hard to make yourself unlikable in his eyes.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
All right, I want to weigh in on this too.
I know you do too, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (51:58):
So coming up next over three minutes, will continue this conversation.

Speaker 1 (52:02):
Don't go anywhere.

Speaker 3 (52:03):
We're talking Dallas Cowboys football, Michael Parsons his trade requests.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
We're doing that next.

Speaker 3 (52:08):
All right, It's submitted skin Show ninety seven point one.
The Eagle where right by the league, the sports bar
here at the chock Tawk Casino and his aunt Durant, Oklahoma,
where the final millionaire will be crowned Tomorrow night slash
Sunday morning one am is when the final of the
three months three millionaires gets their dough.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
So you have time to get out here and take
part in that.

Speaker 3 (52:30):
But the significance of being outside the league is the
biggest story in the world of sports, maybe even the
news this week or today at least, as Micah Parsons
has demanded a trade from the Dallas Cowboys, said in
a Twitter post that or an ex post that he
told Stephen Jones personally he'd like to be traded, and
lined out the reasons why we went over in the

(52:51):
last segment, and it's left Cowboys fans and people following the.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
Story feeling pretty salty about the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (52:57):
Yeah, it's truly embarrassing for the Dallas Cowboys, but I
don't know that they look at it that way. I
don't know if they're surprised by this. I would think
they would be. They may have thought they could just push,
push and push and do it their way and he
would acquiesce and fall in line. And maybe they still
do think that, but this is exceptionally disruptive as you're
trying to go into a season and he's one of

(53:18):
your best players, one of your team leaders, and it's disrespectful.
And if it's gone down the way he's a lying
he is saying it has. Man He's been mistreated in
a lot of ways. It's really bad. It's really poor
form to deal with your players in this manner, and
so it creates a bad culture. But their culture is
never about winning. Their culture is only about, you know,

(53:39):
increasing their brand valuation. They care about that more than anything.
So that Jerry loves the soap opera, he loves that stuff,
and so there's no other reason to delay this signing
unless at some point they decided we don't think he's
good enough. Well, then at that point trade him, because
what are you waiting for? At that point, what could

(53:59):
you possibly be waiting for? And maybe trading him is
the right thing to do, you know, because I think
he's phenomenal. But I don't know that adding him to
this team or keeping him on this team makes them
a super Bowl contender.

Speaker 1 (54:11):
Like they're, you know, maybe middle of the pack in
the league. They're not really elite.

Speaker 3 (54:16):
Their defense is terrible, and so they're gonna have to
score so many points and stay healthy on the offensive
side of the ball.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
And I don't even know if they're gonna be able
to run the ball.

Speaker 3 (54:24):
They may not even have time to run the ball
because they're going to be trailing by two touchdowns all
the time. I just don't know if making you know,
you have a sixty million dollar quarterback, you have a
thirty four million dollar wide receiver, and now you're gonna
have a forty three million dollar edge rusher, Like are
you good enough? Everywhere else? It looks like you've missed
on a couple of first round picks here of late.

(54:45):
I just don't I don't know if you're good enough
everywhere else. And so if you told me you could
get two first round picks and two second round picks
for him, I think I would do that anyways, irregardless
of this drama, just nothing to do with him, just
the state of your team.

Speaker 1 (55:01):
You're not a contender. Do what do you think they
can get now for trading him? Because if they're going
to trade it, they're to trade him a couple of years. Again,
they're not going to trade him because but what do
you think they could get?

Speaker 4 (55:13):
Probably like maybe a first round pick, maybe two first
round picks and two seconds.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
May think they could get that maybe with one year
left on his deal. Well yeah no, and that's it.
That's gonna come into play too.

Speaker 5 (55:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (55:24):
I mean it's nearly two years because that that next
year would be It could change, but looks like it
would be like twenty six and a half million dollars
if you franchise him next year. So for the Cowboys,
they could look at this as a two year, fifty
million dollar deal and have my prime And that's where
it makes sense. But this is where like they're the
cows lose on all these deals, like they end up
paying top dollar.

Speaker 1 (55:44):
Just they do it on Labor Day a week for
the season starts.

Speaker 4 (55:47):
That's what's gonna happen here. It's no fun to say
that on the radio. I do have like some insight
on what I think the Cowboys. You're thinking, yes, so
I think like I thought.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
He was retired, But David Moore is a he's a
good report for the Cowboys. Han't been for many years. Yeah, great, dude,
but he is.

Speaker 4 (56:05):
He gets stuff from the Jones family. We've always known that.
Like I'm saying, he gets it from a lot of places.
But there's a lot of things he gets and you're like, Okay,
that's coming from the mother ship there. His tweets are
interesting today, well, he says, Michael Parsons will use social
media to engage and come bat Jerry Jones in a
way Dak Prescott and Ceedee Lamb and other players would not.

Speaker 3 (56:26):
Can I I want to stop and say something about
that right now, That's exactly what we were talking about
he did the other day when he went out there
with Trayvon Treyvon Dicks. That's what he was doing that
and that's the way in which he operates.

Speaker 4 (56:38):
Which there's a whole other Trayvon Diggs branch to this
thing that maybe we'll get into the next segment. Okay,
he had a big day yesterday and him and Michael
were tweeting each other last night, and it's interesting. This
is the other thing, David Moore tweeted, though Jerry Jones
feels he reached a gentleman's agreement with Micah in March
that supersedes anything the agent wants to negotiate.

Speaker 1 (56:55):
Parsons initiated the contract. Is he a man of his
word or not?

Speaker 4 (57:00):
Ah Carson spiels there's no binding agreement until the agent
works out the details.

Speaker 3 (57:04):
And here we are, so but they hold on though
that's fine, that's the gend I know, and that's what
he's feeding David Moore. But that is so grossly disingenuous
and borderline dirty for Jerry to think that he can
get a side agreement with a player and then not even.

Speaker 1 (57:26):
Talk to the agent who cares no.

Speaker 3 (57:28):
No, But the agent is the one that I mean,
there's this is a matter of the league, like a
team away from him. No, no, no, But I'm saying
it's a matter of the league like they have operations.
Agents have to be certified by the league. This is
why when Dwight Howard did his whole contract thing on
playing with the Spurs. There's legal things that matter on this.
That's why there's a player's association. There is no I

(57:51):
did a deal on the side with the player. The
player can tell the agent this is the deal I want,
but that's total disengenate. It's exactly like when you watch
the first four eight and the detectives have the murder
suspect in an interrogation room and they're like, hey, good buddy,
we're just trying to help you soar through all this
all a lot.

Speaker 1 (58:09):
Should I ask for a lawyer?

Speaker 3 (58:10):
I mean, that's up to you. We're gonna talk to
you right now because we're your good buddies. You want
a Coca Cola, tell us what happened that night. Maybe
we can help you out and get you the fairest
deal for you personally, and you don't need a lawyer.
And it's like they get the criminal to make a
confession because they have no legal representation because they've never
waded into those waters before.

Speaker 1 (58:29):
And what I'm saying here is, you know it's in
our business.

Speaker 3 (58:33):
It's similar in that you know, we know young people
in our business who have been bent over by giant
radio corporations who because they don't have an agent or
a lawyer looking out for their best interest, right, And
it's just business in general.

Speaker 1 (58:48):
If you don't, if.

Speaker 3 (58:48):
You're dealing with somebody who's more powerful than you and
you don't haven't been it's your first rodeo, they could
take advantage of you. And that's why players pay agents
so they can focus on lifting weights and watching film
and being the best football player they can. And then
they have pay an agent a huge sum of money
so they can deal with all this crap. And Jerry
knows that. Okay, let's do this coming up, let's talk

(59:10):
about what we think will happen next, and let's keep
going on what Ben's talking about. It's also interesting we're
talking Micah Parsons in the five o'clock hour here on
Nice one point one the Eagle. Micah Parsons lets it
all out on social media, Spills all the Beans, points
out that Jerry's trying to get deals done without his
agent being president.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
This is all ugly, ugly, ugly dirty laundry.

Speaker 3 (59:33):
And it is a bad, bad look for the Joneses, who,
according to Todd Archer, have said they will not have
comment on this and they'll probably just expect him to
show up and play for this twenty four Mili.

Speaker 1 (59:45):
He's gonna show up, see that when we get fined.
I think they said we're not gonna comment for our
comment see David Moore. Yeah, maybe there you go.

Speaker 3 (59:53):
It's not a shot at David Moore. By the way,
if I was David Moore, I would put that out
exactly like that.

Speaker 4 (59:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (59:57):
Look, there's so many there's so many things to get to.
I do want to I do want to mention one thing,
just just because it's funny. We've all been in these
situations before. But who was the first one who had
rumblings of this? Was it Clarence Hill? Has been all today,
Yeah today like Diana Russini, Yeah, dianer City and what
what did she say?

Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
Just said that? What was the word she used?

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
It was an interesting terminology.

Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
He's he's prepared to go to drastic measures, yes, which
I was like, was gonna bring a car bomb to
the facility?

Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
What do you mean? You're right?

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Well, Mike Fisher had a post that said fact source
tells me Micah Parsons is not all Caps demanding a
Cowboys trade. Instinct Knowing Micah, if he did deeply feel
that way, he'd be saying it on Twitter loudly.

Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
And he did.

Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Fish was right.

Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
He's like, I'm not going to believe it until I
see okay.

Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
Is next tweet. Now they go something like, WELP told you,
that's all you can do. Yeah in that situation.

Speaker 3 (01:01:01):
And dude, if you go to a well placed source
and they gonh, Mike didn't demand a trade and then
like okay, great, then you go to Twitter and then
your well placed source turns around and Steven Jones goes man,
Mike had just demanded a trade a well placed source.

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
He's not going to call you back and go.

Speaker 3 (01:01:15):
By the way, if I'm gonna ask you guys a
serious question, okay, if you give it, if you let
DFW sports fans decide, and you have to keep one
as a GM for the next ten years, and you
can get rid of one right now, Amazing, Nico or Jerry.

Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
This is honestly the best sports segment you've ever created.

Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
One you have to have be the GM of your
team for the next ten years, no matter what they
are unfireable.

Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
The other you can get rid of them right.

Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
Now, Jerry, because the Jerry at least it feels like
there's some guardrails in place.

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
You get rid of Jerry. No, I'd keep Jered. Okay,
here's what I was gonna say about that. No, no, no,
I'm asking you what you think local sports fans would. Oh,
they'd get rid of God. That's it.

Speaker 4 (01:02:01):
There's nothing like dude trading. There's enough cowboysmen that are
in love with the Star.

Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
More are no mass fans. Hold on, think what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
It's the number of Cowboy fans outnumbers Mavericks fans by
ten to one, of course, right, And so the point
is Cowboys fans have been saying get rid.

Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
Of Jerry forever, and so just by sheer volume, more
people are going.

Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
To say get rid of Jerry. What about percentage of
fans percentage? Just say like, like, do you think just
put it on equal level playing field? I mean mass fans.
Nico was basically a god prior to that trade, because
every trade he had made, for the most part, was
on point. And and the Jalen Brunson trade was put
at the feet of Cuban right, yeah, so trade but

(01:02:46):
letting him walk.

Speaker 1 (01:02:47):
But it's the it's that trade and that like there's
people that will never be fans ever again.

Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
Yeah, Nico is just the fervor for Nico is more
intense because people have been wanting to get rid of
Jerry for thirty years. Is he's still here and so
it never feels like it's going to happen. So your
intensity of your emotion wanes over time.

Speaker 1 (01:03:06):
Okay, so so is it? What do you think? I mean, look,
what about you guys personally?

Speaker 4 (01:03:12):
Hey, DoD Nelson, Well personally is that Yeah, Nico and
know a lot of pop He did help build a
you know, go to the title type of team.

Speaker 1 (01:03:24):
You're on the mask credit for that.

Speaker 4 (01:03:27):
But I think the move would have to be to
get rid of Nico because of Jerry's timeline.

Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
Man, I think I don't think Steven would go about thing.
I think Steven would. I think he would give you
a little more diplomatic as I was told.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Somebody did tell me, somebody who would know that if
Steven is ever in that position, that he would hire
a GM.

Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
That's how he'll do, and her name will be Charlotte.

Speaker 5 (01:03:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:03:53):
Yeah, Mike has been to hang out with Treyvon Diggs,
who man, the stuff about Treymon from Ysterday is nuts.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
Get into let's get into it.

Speaker 4 (01:04:02):
Well, he was saying, I don't understand why they find me.
I told them where I was going.

Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
They knew it.

Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
And in his contract he had to spend eighty four
percent of his workout time in the off season at
the Star. And he just assumed, well, look, I've told
them and we're in touch constantly about what he was
doing in Florida, So they are doing him wrong. Like
I know that the letter of the law, what's in
the contract. You have to bide bye, But you don't
have to find do you don't.

Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
It's your choice to find it. You don't have to.
But it's me. Camp has been fine, it's been good.

Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
Vine.

Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
No, I understand that, but that that has nothing to
do with Camp. They they they don't. They're clearly upset
with Trayvon Diggs and have been upset with Trayvon Diggs.

Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
They shouldn't have signed him. Well I know, but I'm
saying he's been hurt since they signed him. Okay, And
so if you and if you give someone this is
we can talk about this within the context of Luca
that whether they're right or wrong, they're paying the person
money and they want to oversee the rehab, whether they're
right or wrong. That's what they want. They have that

(01:05:04):
in the contract. He defied the contract. Okay, we want
you here, you said no, I'm going there. Okay, fine,
here's the mechanism of that. You will be fine for
making that decision. You don't have to do that though
you don't have a choice. They made a choice to
make Travon doesn't have to go rehab elsewhere.

Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
True, very true. Like that's why it's in the contract.
So how did he get juicy yesterday?

Speaker 4 (01:05:26):
Well, he was running around and he did a somersault
on the field and he was just tired and he
kind of laid down on the field for a minute,
and everyone thought he was hurt.

Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
He wasn't. He's fine. I mean, he's a few weeks
away from, you.

Speaker 4 (01:05:38):
Know, really getting after and all that stuff. He's probably
not gonna be ready for the start of the season.
Maybe a little bit into it, but he was never
supposed to be ready to the start of this.

Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
This Trayvon Digs thing.

Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
Though, I think I think you guys might think too
directly ties into Micah Parsons.

Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
Let's let's talk about that next.

Speaker 3 (01:05:56):
And let's talk about how Trayvon Diggs may have impacted
what Micah Parsons did today and what the long term
effect of that is.

Speaker 1 (01:06:04):
And we'll do it here in like four or five
minutes right here on the eat.

Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
You know, I hope one of our listeners wins that
million dollars Tomorrow night slash Sunday morning, they're doing the
final giveaway three months, three millionaires here at Chalk Talk
Casino and Resort during Oklahoma.

Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
I hope one of our listeners win that million dollars.
But right now it's time for this kill.

Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
I think there's a tick me time bomb element to
this Michael Parsons thing as well, because here's what's going on.
If he's requested a trade and he has, then he
would not go to practice tomorrow, right So, if Michael Parsons.

Speaker 1 (01:06:43):
Was practiced, was there no practice? They're off today? Okay,
this is the perfect me.

Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
Jerry's loving everything that happened today. Honestly, it's great headlines
for the next fourteen days. Probably, So if Micah does
not go to practice, he would be subject to a
fifty thousand dollars fine, and they've already shown that they
don't mind finding his best friend, Trayvon Diggs for working
out in Florida instead of being in Frisco. Different place
they did, different players in different situations, There's no doubt

(01:07:07):
about it.

Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
But to Skin's point, he could show up and say,
my ankle hurts, my back hurts.

Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
Yeah, my neck, my back, my neck in my back.

Speaker 4 (01:07:13):
And Micah hasn't signed the big, you know, one hundred
million plus dollar contract, you know, in his career yet.

Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
So fifty thousand dollars a day that starts to stack up.

Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
And that's why Mike is going to be at practice
tomorrow just kind of standing there, probably throwing the football
around with Treyvon Diggs, much like I did with my
buddy Dustin Hope at the high school practice story.

Speaker 1 (01:07:34):
But I shows up and practices. He loses, right, he
gives in Well, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:07:39):
I think you stand there and just make sure that
you don't lose that fifty thousand dollars and then you
kind of keep going and then you can pick and
choose if you want to disappear in the middle of
the month.

Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
Save yourself money for two weeks.

Speaker 4 (01:07:50):
But like this is the timeline gets up to the
first game Thursday, September fourth.

Speaker 3 (01:07:55):
I think I think that this very much is We
were talking about this earlier, just how emotional he is.
And I think this very much is the watching the
Trayvon Diggs thing happen like happen at camp and inserting
yourself in it and being a part of it. It
becomes us versus them. And so by doing that little

(01:08:15):
mini presser he did with Trayvon, he aligned himself against
the Joneses, because the Joneses, it's the Jones' fault.

Speaker 1 (01:08:24):
And again it's Jerry, And I'm not doing the Jerry.

Speaker 3 (01:08:28):
I'm just saying he's as he's gotten older, he's become
more extreme. We all saw it unfold. We spent all
that time talking about the way he treated Sean and RJ.
He had never done that before. And what you just
see a lot of times with older people, their patience changes,
the way that they handle things changes.

Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
Old diplomacy goes out the window.

Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
Every person you know that's middle aged that still has
their parents, they're talking about the crazy damn stuff their
parents are saying, and how they don't care anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:08:55):
It just happens. It's natural.

Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
He's emboldened by extreme wealth and power, right, and so
it's just that whole thing on tilt for him to
sit up there and for no reason trash Tarrent Steel
and Trayvon Diggs. That becomes very personal for those players.
And again, the valuation of the team now is twelve billion,
at least the biggest in sports, like fifteen billion or

(01:09:18):
something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
It's the biggest up there and maybe the biggest at
all sports. It's a Lakers or six billion. The Cowboys
are twelve So if that's all that.

Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
Matters to them, because there's no accountability, there's no one
that's gonna lose their job if they don't win. It's
Steven and Jerry, so it's a family business, so there's
no one that's going to be held accountable. And if
you're talking to them about their bank account, are they
doing a good job as owners? Well, the team's the
most valuable in sports, so yes, it's a business their businessmen.

(01:09:46):
Are they doing a good job at winning? No, but
it's not their priority. And there's no one's job that's
going to be held accountable for not winning. And so
this is never gonna change. Yeah, And as you're laying out,
it's never hurt them financially, It's only gotten better. And
for the longest time, I was so fascinated by Donnie
Nelson's ability to operate in the Mavericks while his owner

(01:10:09):
and his dad.

Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
Were suing one another and was able to do the job.
And he does.

Speaker 3 (01:10:13):
I really think, you know, I try to empathize with
Steven on this deal because no matter what, you love
your dad, your dad put you in an amazing position.
Your dad's one of the most extraordinary people ever. Steven
knows that his dad is hurting them and their chances
of winning. Steven probably cares more about winning than his
dad does, because, Dude, when his dad passes on, there's

(01:10:34):
going to be this crazy thing for ownership and struggle
and there's three different people.

Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
You need to watch succession. Dude.

Speaker 3 (01:10:41):
Well, I mean, I know, but I'm just saying that's
the way that inheritance laws work in this country. That's
why teams a lot of times get sold before they
get handed down to the kids. It's very, very complicated,
and I guarantee you Steven cares more about winning than
his dad does. But he's never going to go against
his dad. He's not going to trash his dad publicly.
But he knows that this is not the way to operate.

Speaker 1 (01:11:01):
He knows it.

Speaker 4 (01:11:02):
There's also a couple of elements of this that sucks,
and that is that Micah, I mean, Dak and Ceedee
Lamb have both publicly already spoke about this, I mean
in the last couple of weeks, and then CD had
a big tweet today is like, oh my god, can
we just stop the extracurriculars and pay the man. Defensive
players are changing their profile picture two pictures of Micah.
They want him there is. It's a betrayal, and this

(01:11:25):
is what sucks. Everything was going fine at camp. No
one had gotten hurt too bad, the guiding thing happened.
We've got good vibes, We're having a good time. There's
this weird balance between one out for Robert Jones, high
energy and like discipline, and everyone kind of feels like, Okay,
I think we're actually going to be pretty good. And
then you have this right and no one wants it

(01:11:45):
and it just looks bad. And you don't do that
to your new head coach, and you honestly you shouldn't
do it to your fans.

Speaker 1 (01:11:52):
But you don't care. Now you said a minute ago
you haven't won. Well, Jerry will tell you that they
have one and that's the problem one of their bank accounta.
It just doesn't matter. Nothing matters.

Speaker 3 (01:12:00):
We'll talk about the different ways this could go. It
could go where they're just like, look, I know you
want to be traded, but you have a contract. We're
paying you twenty four million, so get out there and play.
I mean, it's gonna be awkward, it's gonna be bad chemistry.
But maybe he's like, I don't want to get fined,
I don't want to fake an injury, so yeah, I'll
just go do it. But it's gonna kill the chemistry
that they have, right well, yeah, and he's not practicing now,

(01:12:21):
he's just out there.

Speaker 1 (01:12:22):
He's just out. So at some point they can go
you're under contract, you need to practice.

Speaker 3 (01:12:25):
But you know, you know what, think about this, Think
about how many times we've seen this play out, and
think about the Joneses in the back of their minds.
You even said it. They're going to sign him on
Labor Day. Now they know what the market is, they
know what he's gonna get paid. They're gonna give him
forty three million dollars, they know it. But in the
meantime this has become us versus them. And if you

(01:12:47):
look at Jerry's history, he's always very much loved being
in with the players, you know. I mean over time
it's changed, you know, as he's gotten older. But what
I'm saying is he's never wanted to be the players.
Like everyone's saying all the stuff they said about dez
Dez said, you know, that's like a dad to me, right,
and Jerry relished all that. What this It didn't have

(01:13:08):
to get to this. But they're going to give him
his money. I would think they will, but if they
if they don't. If they don't, that's going to be friction.
Does he play and it's just awkward relationship to take
a franchise tag, all those things coming down the road.
Or do they trade him because they were going to
trade him, they should have already traded him. But right now,
when a player's demanding to be traded, I would think

(01:13:30):
they would be trading him from a disadvantage other teams, like, hey,
you got to trade him, not giving you full price
for him. I think It's hard in any sport to
trade a guy with one year left on his deal
when he hadn't gotten paid.

Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
But that thing is that year is two years now.
But it's just the franchise tag go with. I would
also say, I would also say that anybody that trades
for him is trading for him knowing that they're going
to extend him, right yeah, I mean what about the Commanders?

Speaker 4 (01:13:55):
Oh my god, that's the other things. Like everyone just
wants to go play for dan Quinn. You think Michael
would go play the Eagles who he went to Penn State.
He would go there, like he absolutely would. And I
also I bet he'd go play for the Steelers, I'm sure,
but the Eagles are in the division. I think Michael's
would have a he would know he would, they could
couldn't trade him there.

Speaker 1 (01:14:14):
But this is where too. And then and the Steelers
they got t J. Watt. They don't need to, you know,
go down that route, right right?

Speaker 4 (01:14:20):
But like, this is killing Micah to not practice every day.
He said it, ceedee Lamb was killing him last year.
So Micah is Micah willing to miss week one of
the season, Dude?

Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
He was unwilling to get.

Speaker 4 (01:14:31):
Taken out of preseason games like he is not going
to be able to handle it. And that's a big
part of this is Michah gave up all leverage over
the last nine to twelve months talking about taking less.

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
He saw his action.

Speaker 3 (01:14:42):
He said it in that thing with him at Treyvon Diggs.
He goes, y'all know me, I'm going to be out
there like that's a literal quote from.

Speaker 1 (01:14:48):
Him standing there with trade. He's put his agent in
a bad spot here too.

Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
And I know, like in some of this stuff because
they just like, dude, don't say that you're making it
like you're to get paid a bunch.

Speaker 1 (01:14:58):
Of money, you know. Okay, So when is this result?

Speaker 4 (01:15:01):
September first, one month from today, Yeah, Monday, September.

Speaker 1 (01:15:04):
So it's gonna be a massive distraction every day until then. Yep,
that's the Cowboys.

Speaker 4 (01:15:08):
But George Pickens is having a wonderful camp offense looks
kind of good.

Speaker 1 (01:15:12):
I actually like that. We're not talking about Pickens signed
Lyle Collins today. Nothing bad. It just scares down with
him right now. I mean, I mean, you want to
get paid and get paid right. You want to see
a guy go nuclear, put a franchise tag on Pickens.
All right, I think that could be headed that way. Dude,
god man, Well, what else are you guys doing?

Speaker 7 (01:15:34):
Man?

Speaker 1 (01:15:34):
I think I'm gonna do some stretching.

Speaker 3 (01:15:37):
If you're into some stretching, I'm real real tight, my
bad Japanese intervals stretching, Yes, stretch real fast for three
minutes and then you just kind of we.

Speaker 4 (01:15:46):
Had forty seconds left in the show and he flew
the no content left flag stretching.

Speaker 1 (01:15:52):
Come up with the bit, you guys gonna watch The
Naked Gun this weekend or what I saw it last night?
I might I might go do that. Okay, you know what?

Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
You know what my wife through out there, she wants
to watch Uh Happy Gilmore too. Okay, so we're gonna
watch that tonight? Yes, oh very nice.

Speaker 1 (01:16:10):
What she wants to watch it? Travis Kelcey and Bad
Bunny are in it, and Taylor Swift's the Bear.

Speaker 3 (01:16:15):
I think, good man, she plays karm all right, that's
gonna do it for us out here at the Chalk
Talk Casino in Resort Durin, Oklahoma.

Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
I hope uh Eagle listener wins a million dollars tomorrow night.
Here at chalkdah. I'll never forget the time that Kat
looked Taylor Swift dead.

Speaker 3 (01:16:31):
In her eyes and he said, I'll f with the
ocean and she respected that about him. All right, Christina
wants you stick around and play some music. It's nice
that Point one the Eagle have a good weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:16:42):
Everybody here. You go on, you're well. So I'm gonna
get some cheeks after this horse college runt.

Speaker 4 (01:16:48):
