"How do you mispronounce 'not guilty' as 'guilty'… in a courtroom… during a verdict?"That’s just one of the jaw-dropping moments in this wild ride of an episode of The Ben and Skin Show, where the full squad — Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray — is back and firing on all cylinders. From KT’s triumphant return to Krystina’s love of camping in haunted woods, the crew kicks off the week with hilarious banter and razor-sharp wit. Ben shares a viral courtroom clip where a judge accidentally flips a man’s fate with a single word — and the fallout is pure chaos. Skin compares it to the infamous Moonlight/La La Land Oscar mix-up, and the gang dives deep into how one word can change everything. Then, things get even weirder.A clip from a supposed news broadcast turns into a comedy of errors when a woman recounts a date where she was told she looked like JonBenét Ramsey — if she were still alive. Her response? “You look like the killer if they found him.” The team unpacks the bizarre exchange, questioning whether it’s real, satire, or just a feral hog let loose in the studio. And just when you think it can’t get stranger, Skin teases a personal story that starts with: “I made a really weird decision last night and saw something no person should have to see.”

big camper. She likes to go camping in the most
dangerous areas where there's like a ghost of a lake
or I don't know, some guy drowned and now wears
a hockey mask and kills single people. Right, you just
did my favorite thing a Texan does. What I tell you,
what I tell you what my favorite thing a Texan
does is go fixing to.

Speaker 6 (01:54):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
We're gonna get started today with a couple of pieces
of audio that I stumbled across while scroll patrolling over
the weekend.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
And one.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Was this took place in a courtroom, and I don't
want to I don't want to set it up other
than I'm just going to play the insanity that happened.
This is an actual courtroom. The judge is getting ready
to read the verdict as it was handed down by
the jury.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
And here's the audio.

Speaker 7 (02:20):
We the jury find that Finnant guilty as to all
six councils. Deep dub of indictment. I'm sure for you
first handles to thanks council couldn't pass it over to
I said, not sorry, we the jury found that Finnan

(02:40):
not guilty on all six countls. I apologize for my mispronunciation.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
Off, just laugh it off. Okay, So how severe was
this case? How serious was it?

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I mean when I saw it, I thought it was
pretty serious. I mean I didn't do any a deep
dive on researching it, but I thought it was a
pretty serious case.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Like I assumed it was gonna be significant jail time. Yeah,
I thought I thought. I thought it was a murder.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah, but hold on, he didn't say that he read
the wrong verdict. He said he mispronounced, and he did
sound just like that. I'm not a cat, though, man,
I just mispronounced the words not guilty. I pronounced them
as guilty. That's a bad mispronunciation.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Of looking at each other like okay, who's gonna say it?

Speaker 7 (03:31):
Right?

Speaker 3 (03:32):
And if you're that guy, and like what what an
incredible comeback story? He's sitting there going the rest of
my life in prison? Oh wait, I'm not wait what
I'm good? And then a fear his whole team is like.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yeah, it was very.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Much like when Moonlight won Best Oscar No one really
knows what did the old person just say by accident?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
We're confused there, all right?

Speaker 7 (04:00):
All right.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
The other thing I stumbled across from over the weekend
that I wanted to play for you guys, is this
takes place on a news set. It's some television news set.
I don't know where it is. I don't know what
market it's in in Chicago. Okay, Well, when these things
happened to you never know when you see him on
social media? Is this a decade old or is this
did this happen this week? I just don't know. But

(04:22):
this is some of the when banter goes wrong between
you know, news anchors, stuff like this happens.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
I went on a.

Speaker 8 (04:30):
Date this week, actually yeah, and the guy said I
looked like John Benny Ramsey.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
She were still alive.

Speaker 8 (04:43):
I was like, you'll like the killer if they've found him.
And we had a fun night of role playing.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
What are you doing?

Speaker 8 (04:56):
I think I'll see him again?

Speaker 3 (04:58):
What hey up to talk about?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Only kind of work out there. I'm out there charming.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
A minute.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
So are you the h well the feral Hoggins studio.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
This guy told her that she looked like a child
who was in one of the most famous murder cases ever.
But hey, a lovely child, but but not what she
looked like then, like what she would look like if
she had lived and was still alive. And then she
accepted that and said I think that's a compliment. And
then she said, you look like the murderer if they

(05:41):
had caught him. And it's like, wait what And then
she said, we did a bunch of role playing.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
What what does that mean? I have to ask the question. Shoot,
how she looked.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
She looked like, uh, don't say that the comedian.

Speaker 6 (05:59):
She is a comedian.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Yeah, it's Bamford, right, so that's amor.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
But this is a comedian.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
I saw this clip going around.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
Okay, yeah, so not to ruin that, but okay, this
is all a bit I believe.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Okay, I thought it was news gal. I thought it
was to it looks like a news set.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
Okay, is on set with someone, but yeah, making a
joke about it.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
She's promoting being at the improv.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Probably. And then went on TV and get a little
just a little too edgy.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
That's pretty edgy, that's super edgy.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
I do think the anchor could have composed himself a
little more though, like A part of your job is
like staying kind of neutral in situations with the upstand
the downs of the news. So he just he could
even look at her, and then he started farting or snorting.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Now that hog was clear in its throat.

Speaker 6 (06:47):
What what hey, you have something to.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Talk about.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
That is amazing? All right, there you have it. We're
off and running.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Skin.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
We're you gonna take us in things. Skin is tracking, man.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
I made a really weird decision last night, and I
saw something that no person should have to see it.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
I'll tell you what it is.
