Do not look away. The Today game is coming up
in ten minutes. We won't podcast that. You must listen
live for your chance to hear it. But right now
(00:21):
it's time for this. Are you excited?
Speaker 2 (00:24):
And he gets Tosday featuring veteran news anchor kt fun tweets.
Damon Wolf, a fifty eight year old man in Frisco,
is facing a felony aggravated assault charge back on July
twenty eighth. Basically, he left his home after hearing a
(00:45):
loud bang. Our officers learned that Wolf left is how
much for hearing a loud bang? He entered the street
and fired multiple rounds at a passing vehicle that he
believed contained to be people who were knocking on his door,
ringing his doorbell and running off a game. It's ding
dung ditch.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
That's definitely the reason to shoot bullets at someone where
they tried to burn a bag of dog pooh or not.
So somebody was doing ding dong ditch and he came
out and fired shots. He ran down the street shooting
at him and multiple bullets went in their car and
the kids were scared to report it, and the mom
was like, no, we're reporting this. Kids were doing dingdung
(01:22):
ditch from a car. So here's the thing. There's a
whole new it's TikTok. And they showed a ton of
these on the news last night. They go to the
door and it's all on ring camera. They bang and
then they super loud that thing where it's like bang,
Like I saw this one kid. So there a lot
of them are running it because they see it on
(01:42):
social media. They're running up backwards and they take their
foot and they slam it into the door so that
they can run off quickly. Yeah, and I saw one
kid run out and get on a scooter. I could definitely.
You know, there was a while in my neighborhood people
were going in the backyard and banging on like master
(02:02):
bedroom windows in the middle of the night. It's terrible, man,
that will get you shot. Yes, And I'm not saying
we've had this discussion before about what is and what
is in a castle? Lall, I definitely think when no,
you've seen no weapons and you actually haven't seen the
people running down the street firing a gun at a
(02:24):
car that's driving away is way too far. And this
guy's getting charged with aggravated assault and he should, yeah,
he should. The whole thing they teach you about, you know,
guns in your home and protecting your home and all
those things. Most people recommend a shotgun because a shotgun
is not going to shoot through walls. But you shoot
like a high caliber pistol or rifle, it could go
(02:47):
through walls right right, And so you're taking that out
into the neighborhood and just firing all over the place.
It could go into houses and it's not somebody attacking
you or trying to break in. They're leaving. Now, that's
a dumb ass thing to do to go make a
loud noise at somebody's door and make them think their
house is getting broken into, and you could get shot
(03:08):
doing that. But once the guy gets outside and sees
that there's not a threat and they're driving away, dude,
what are you doing? What are you doing? And it's
definitely like you know, the Michael Douglas character in Falling
Down kind of scenario I would assume. But what you
just said there is something that I saw the police
chief of Frisco say. It's like, yeah, we have to
(03:29):
do this because think of where all those bullets could go, right,
you know, And he's like, you put way too many
people in danger. And I'm sitting here thinking about this
going okay, But now I'm more confused about Castle law
because I just assumed running down the street shooting when
there's no weapon involved as a violation. But you're also
talking about the reason you're charging him is because of
(03:52):
what could happen with the carelessness. So I am still
curious about. Yeah, the ramifications of quote unquote the Castle law,
Like where does that end?
Speaker 2 (04:01):
Three bullet holes in the vehicle. We do know that
he's facing two to twenty years in prison.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Wow, God, so he could have killed these kids. Did
they have a did they pick his house for any reason?
Does he have a he goes to school with their
kids or something, or I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
We don't know anything on that man.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
The house we used to get in my neighborhood and
it was right next to uh Skin's brother in law
okay uh. And there was a guy that lived over
there in his nickname in the neighborhood was crazy Man
because and people continually went to his house because he
got angry, and you knew you could get this reaction,
(04:40):
like you go get other people's house, they might come out,
that might not. He's going to run outside and chase people,
And so people went there for that reason. The guy,
the guy in my current neighborhood that I know kids
would target for that reason because they know he would
jump off sides and chase them.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
LFG, LFG, no dude, giant, He'll gain on you.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Every step he'll catch him and then tell him to
knock on their mom's door later that night. Incredible reporting, Katie,
all Right, it's The Beening Skid Show ninety seven point one.
The Eagle coming up next. It's the only segment that
we never podcast. You gotta listen live. It's the fun
of the Today game. Next, you're on the Eagle.
