Speaker 1 (00:00):
And in Skin Show ninety seven point one, the Eagle
thanks for hanging out with us today the whole five
o'clock hour. We've got an inside look at Cussing for
Cussing the Cowboys of the new Netflix special about Jerry
Jones and his Cowboys. It dropped today. We've got audio
from it. We'll get into all of that. Also in
the next hour and a half, we're gonna give away

(00:20):
Pantera tickets. Be listening for your chance to win. You're
gonna need that iHeart app in order to win those.
So if you haven't downloaded it yet, downloaded it's free.
But right now it's time for this. Now it's around
the sports kt quins as all the.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Sports, yes already ESPN.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Dan Rolovski's a quarterback guru, most famous for running out
of the back of the end zone when he was
the third quarterback for the Lines a long time ago
in the year of the three one zero to sixteen.
But he's a he's an NFL analyst, good quarterback evaluator,
all right, and uh they're doing a bit of we're
gonna rank every NFL quarterback but each trait that they have,
so what are they good at? But we're just gonna

(01:03):
do a top ten on these traits. So if dak
Prescott is, as we've said for years, a top ten quarterback,
then he would show up on all of these in
this on these.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Lists, right, is it like short throws, long throws, bootlegs.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Is a composure, It is a we'll start with arm strength,
do down the field arm strength.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I'm not seeing Dakota rain Prescott there.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
I don't think he's known as he's never been known
as a slinger.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I would say that too. I would say that to it.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Ball placement, you want to have your balls placed in
the right spot.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
The accuracy.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
He occasionally will throw a ball and you're like, damn,
that was right on the money, But most of the
time you're not that impressed with his exact accuracy.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
He's no Akman, for sure. He failed to crack that
list in the top ten. Sorry man, all right?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
To a taggle of luh was though, get their number
number seven.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Mechanics that's good. Got have mechanics. What's that mean?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
I thought coming out of college we talked about his
mechanics being bad.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Well, now he is eighth in the league in mechanics.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Hey, let's give him some points there, right, top ten
guy Joe.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Burrow up at the top of pretty much all news.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Uh, decision making with the football, see the field?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Do I run? Forcing the double covered?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Here was.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
He failed to make the top ten.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
You know what I would say about decision making? I
bet that decision making there's a direct correlation between that
how good your offensive line is.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Probably, but I would take that more to pocket presence,
which is the next one that we're talking about. Pocket
pocket once again not on the top ten, and pocket presence.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Had great line.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Lash you mind, this is the highest paid player in
the game of football. That's one thing he does well.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Wishing ability, well, there was a time Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts,
Josh Allen, Jaden Daniels. I mean, guys like Justin Fields
are gonna sneak onto a list like this. They're young,
they still get to play, but not great there second reactionability.
I don't really fully know what that means. But he's

(03:20):
not on the top ten in that list either.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
The composure and that's it.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
So nothing right leadership bro Oh, you know what, he
would be number one, top ten, He might be number one,
might be number one.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I could see.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
That that's why he's the highest paid quarterback in the game. Yeah,
I mean he does. He does everything about twelfth best.
That's badass, dude.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
He does everything a quarterback about twelfth best paid, like Superman.
That's where he was on the athletic tiers of quarterbacks.
They had it at number twelve and me and Ben
did it when you were gone to me and Ben were.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Like, all right, that's great. Yeah, I thought he'd be
like nineteen.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
But any of those top fifteen quarterbacks when their deal
is up, their team will have to decide, all right,
are they the highest paid player on Earth or do
we go try to find someone else. Yeah, and there's
really only about eighteen guys on the planet who can
kind of play quarterback. And think about that conversation we
had with brock Perdy. Perty was just like a couple

(04:20):
of notches behind back on that same list.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
I can't believe they paid him. He's got elbow issues,
just like you. Here's your daily mic update from Adam Schefter.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
He'll done if.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
You're not even talking, and the two sides haven't had
any negotiations since late March or early April.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
You guys should know that he's just looking at a
mirror when he's doing all this. Yeah, why is he
down the hall?

Speaker 4 (04:41):
It sounds like at this point it's personal. It sounds
like each side is dug in. The Cowboys have come
out and said what they said publicly at the start
of training camp, which Micah didn't like. Micah came out
and has to be traded, said he was ready to
move on from Dallas we know, which I'm sure they
didn't like. And right now both sides seem to be
angry now. Have all their people put those feelings aside

(05:03):
in the past and figured out a way to work
out a deal? Yeah, I don't see that happening here.
I see these two sides headed towards divorce in time.
The only question is when is that divorce gonna happen
and how is it going to happen? Are they going
to trade them now? Are they going to trade them
after this year?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Are they going to move on when? Okay, I couldn't
disagree more.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
I disagree too, But that makes me wonder if Micah's
team has been like, we're not doing this, Like when
we're able to get out of here, we stay in here.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
We know they're not gonna win.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
I get the agent saying that all you want, But
you've got a guy going into one year making twenty
four million and they know he can be franchised. It's
not in your best and it depends on how much
they're off. Well, he said divorce in time, and after
two years I know. But the whole point is that
the second the guy gets his contract, all that divorce
stuff goes away.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
And this is the same thing I have with Ceede
Lamb and blah blah blah. But with Mike.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
I think Micah does see through some of this stuffing.
I really want to win and it can't happen here
because of all this. Also, I think he would love
to just go play for dan Quinn. And I think
he'd love to go play for the Philadelphia Eagles because
he is a Penn State guy.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
How does he end up on one of their rivals.
They would have to trade him there. That's not ever
gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
As a Packers fan, I give you two first round picks,
and I can give you a starting tackle right now.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
I'll tell you they'll take it.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
They probably should take it. They it doesn't make sense.
They're not that good of a team to have three
guys that are the highest paid on Earth, and honestly
they have depth at pass rush. Yeah, like, if you
could give me a tackle in two first round picks,
I think it would be negligent not to do that.
All Right, There you have it around the sports. We

(06:38):
will get back into the Cowboys at five o'clock. The
new Netflix docu series is out America's team, The Gambler
and His Cowboys, So at least you can look forward
to that Cowboys fans. But coming up next in the
weekly weekday update, who are you allowed to shoot and
from where? We'll discuss next
