Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ben and Skin Show ninety seven point won the Eagle.
It is September eleventh. It is an emotional day in
the country's history. We'll talk about our experiences on that
day coming up in the big finish in thirty minutes,
but right now it's time for.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
This are You Excited.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Day Day?

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Featuring veteran news anchor kt fun tweets.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I don't love doing this story, but it was the
top story on all of the local news outlets last night.
A motel manager got attacked and was eventually decapitated by
an employee, good God, after an argument yesterday at the
downtown Sweets Motel that's over there alf Samuel Boulevard. So

(00:50):
the guy is a thirty seven year old named your
Danis Cobosmartinez. Okay, he's got a murder charge coming. The
lady he killed was the hotel manager, Chandra lasting Nagamalaya.
That's the name. So basically, there was another person there
who was I guess cleaning as I'm assuming like a

(01:13):
housekeeping type of thing, and that witness told police that
they were cleaning the room when the manager approached them
and began speaking to them about a broken broken washing
machine at the motel, but she was speaking to her.
The person who's talking to the police, and the guy
who did the decapitation was getting upset, like, why aren't

(01:37):
you telling me? It sounds like he's a little crazy.
He's got quite quite a track right now.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
The guy who decapitated a lady over a disagreement might
be a little crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
They have on surveillance camera him using a machete. Oh so,
why are you supporting this guy? Oh no, no, no
support here. This one's a rough one. She took off.
The hotel manager takes off like he ran after her
once he caught her. Oh god, he kept going and going,

(02:08):
and uh, I said, I said her. I'm so sorry.
It was a he. Chandra just is a female name.
It was a he. What Chandra is a he in
this case? Yeah? That was the hotel manager who.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Was Okay, so it was not a man killing a woman.
It was a man killing a man.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yes, I would like to apologize for that. I just
assume when you see Chandra, I don't know any guys
named Chandra. No I do. Now, I guess I.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Don't really know any ladies named Schondra either, But it
does you know, I get it. The so you were
talking about there being surveillance footage of this, and I
was thinking about this this morning. Uh. You know, we
had the conversation earlier in the day about you know,
Charlie Kirk's murder is all over people's timelines and I like,
go out of my way to not watch it because

(02:54):
I don't want to watch violence like that. I don't
even like violent movies, much less real life violence. And
those people that are CSI folks man, they have to
deal with a lot.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Oh yeah, that is sensitized to it.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Yeah, and you have to, I know, you have to
put yourself in a different headspace to deal with that
sort of stuff. But I can't imagine working the case
and having to watch the beheading footage on surveillance camera
over and over to get clues, right, to get.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
Yeah, yeah, well you don't need that many clues on
this one.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
That's true. That's true, they have.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
But I know what you're saying, like you're you're constantly
looking at horrific things, yes, like like watching the Charlie
Kirk thing yesterday makes you want to vomit. You know,
it just breaks your heart in a million ways. But
it's also just very difficult to watch and imagine if
that's your job all day, every day to look at that.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Yeah, like they're gathering clues right now for that. I
watched it once and we'll never watch it again. The
Charlie Kirk thing. I don't ever want to see that again.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
They said that he put the head in the dumpster.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Oh, like as I can. Yeah, for what trash removal?

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Like an ultimate show of disrespect or like the evidence or.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
I think he knew they on Wednesdays trash comes trash
right hotel?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
The hotel?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Was this a nice hotel?

Speaker 3 (04:18):
I don't feel like it, but Samuel Boulevard.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Every Sweet Sin I've been to is pretty banging.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, I guess. So this guy had a bit of
a record. He had a don't say. He was charged
with indecency with a child and assault body injury twenty eighteen.
He had why is he out? They were dismissed due
to insufficient evidence. And I believe in innocent until proven guilty.
So until you do it on a security cam, yep. Yeah.

(04:47):
He was also arrested in twenty seventeen after he attempted
to carjack a woman while he was naked.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Okay, why is this guy not incarcerated like that's like
a horrible track record.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
I feel like the legal system has failed us.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And I would not at all victim blame here as well.
But also has he employed at that hotel?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
They may not do background checks.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
We hired you KT, We didn't look to see if
you've decapitated anybody?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
True? Yeah, could you could have?

Speaker 3 (05:17):
All right?

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Possible? That is a shocking story.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Been in Skin Show ninety seven point one The Eagle
coming up next. It's a list that's on your lips.
It's the top five Texas brands. We'll talk about him
here on The Eagle.
