"What happens when you mix a rock legend, a baseball icon, and a supermodel in the bleachers at Wrigley Field?"In this wildly entertaining segment of The Ben and Skin Show, the crew dives headfirst into one of the most hilariously awkward live TV moments in recent memory. Christina Ray opens up her Cookie Jar to serve a fresh batch of audio gold: Eddie Vedder, lead singer of Pearl Jam, absolutely three sheets to the wind during a Cubs game, trying to hold it together while sitting next to Anthony Rizzo and Cindy Crawford.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
Let's do the fop the.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Your heads from Christina's cooky Jar. Christine just needed Eddie

(00:37):
to set the stone there, or set the set the
tone there. So Eddie vedder, lead singer of Pearl Jam
and I'm glad kat gave away those Rangers tickets. He's
also a big Cubs fan.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Did you know that I loved the hubsct you can
say is a Rangers fan.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I was like, what, well, baseball, this is a baseball
music segment. So he was at the Cubs game over
the weekend Saturday, and they decided to bring him in
to help celebrate the retirement of what's his name, Anthony Rizzo?
Anthony Rizzo, And so I was gonna play two clips

(01:13):
of audio here because it seems to me that Eddie's
drunkenness just escalates real fast. So this is at like
the top of the seventh, they get the entire crowd
to sing take me out to the ballgame, right, And
so you're gonna hear them introduce Eddie, Anthony Rizzo and
Cindy Crawford of all people, to sing take me out
to the ballgame.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Everybody else, what's the pass?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
The name.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Had to be bad hair Our Harold Anthony Rizzo.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Here we go, hold on me.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Okay, so we don't need to hear all that, but
just the crowd. I wanted you guys to hear it
because it doesn't sound bad. They are in the stands
right now singing this.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
They used to back in the day. They would go
up in the press box with Harry Carey and it
was like, you wouldn't get that crowd noise. Yeah, but
that's cool that they're in the stands.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
They were actually in the stands singing and again, he
doesn't sound that bad. Well, then you have a field
reporter do a follow up interview with all of them.
They're all sitting still together in the stands and uh, well,
here we go today.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Though.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Is it like to get to enjoy this with Anthony?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Uh, I've never got to sit with my favorite player
in the bleachers.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
The stretch with him.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
What was it like seeing the stretch with him? What
was it like? Oh, I was terrified. You're terrified because
I didn't want them to up.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
She just looks at the camera like, oh god, oh god,
oh god. He's sounds three sheets to the way gone wasted.
And apparently that was at the bottom of the seventh.
So I don't understand if you got right after, if
you just started show for that or what.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
So it was. It reminds me of you, like beautiful,
what was that when they talked to do the j
is so drunk and they oh, guess you and it's
like you knew.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
He's not drunk.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
You didn't have to interview him. I wonder if she
started talking to him like maybe I shouldn't.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
And it's good for America to see Sexual Harassment five
on the broadcast though they needed to see it. Susane Colber,
can you Christian g play the first of that again
because you can hear it?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
It's bad. Yeah. Today, always it like to get to
enjoy this with Anthony.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Uh, I've never got to sit with my favorite player
in the bleachers. I can't even tell what.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
It sounds like a crazy accident, Like what is that?

Speaker 2 (03:51):
To sit with my favorite player in the bleachers?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Today?

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Always it like to get to enjoy this with Anthony.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Uh, I've never got to sit with my favorite player
in the.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Just have some weird accent. He added on to it.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Oh man, I'm gonna do.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Awesome. God, Oh you put a rock legend on live TV.
It's what you're gonna get, right, I get it up bump.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
And so here's what I think. I think he knew
that he had to sing take Me out of the
ball game, right, So he was waiting for that. And
then after that he's like, all right, now I can
drink and enjoy myself. And he was not expecting that
follow up interview.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Can you imagine the energy as a kid? Does a
young beloieve that it comes from your whole life and
they're like, Hey, here's one of America's hottest supermodels and
your favorite player and you're sitting with him in the bleachers. Yeah,
I might sound a little tongue tied too.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Right, it's really random, really funny.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
That is fantastic. All Right, there you have it. There's
Christina's cookie jar coming up next in the Hollywood Shuffle,
the oral history of one of the greatest scenes in
the history of television.
