Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ah, Yes, Happy hump Day everybody. It's the world famous
been in Skin Show ninety seven point one The Eagle.
Thank you for tuning in today and every day. Thank
you for making us a part of your daily routine.
All hands are on deck today in studio. I'm Ben Rogers,
joined by Jeff skin Wade, Kevin KT Turner and Christina
Little Baby corn Bread Ray and we're excited about today's show.

(00:21):
We got a good one for you. We got some
movie news coming up. We got a Christina's cookie jar.
She's got another rock war happening. She gotta let us
know about KT is gonna take us to the Amazon
or to Amazon the app we'll have around the sports,
we got some TV news.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
We'll cuss the Cowboys. We've got a lot to get into.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Speaking of the Cowboys, I want to talk about a
couple different things now. When I went to Vegas, I
placed a wager and the idea was that if the
MAVs win the Championship and NBA Championship and the Cowboys
win the Super Bowl, then I think it was the
odds were so crazy. I put down one hundred dollars

(00:57):
bet and I think I win like thirty grand it happens.
It says if you win your set for life, and
you know, it feels like it would be more than that,
doesn't it. I feel like the Cowboys somehow have a chance.
I get MAVs do too, man, And after what happened
on Monday night, the reality of the Mavericks, it's a

(01:19):
complicated situation. All anyone wants to know is are the
Mavericks going to trade Anthony Davis? Answer is, now, is
there anyone out there who wants Anthony Davis in his contract?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
And can he stay healthy?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
There's a lot of different and is it just better
to trade him the off season when it's a lot
easier to trade a giant contract like that, unless you're
the Mavericks and really want to do it mid season? Yeah,
you know, anyways, tough man, Yeah it's tough.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
These things are tough.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
But let's just say that they can't find any takers
for a D and let's say that Kyrie comes back.
Let's I mean, I don't know, they would be a
very good basketball team if healthy. Man, look at Ryan
Nimhard's numbers as a starter. Just project that out and
you're good dog. Anyways, I you know, maybe that doesn't

(02:07):
happen for me, but I am. I did have a
lot of fun when I was there, and I did
have a lot of fun dreaming. And you know, I
consider myself to somebody who has good fantasy football knowledge
and skills, and so I am taking some of my
fantasy football energy and the idea of being smarter than
everyone and when it comes to that to prize picks.

(02:28):
And so for Thursday night, I'm I'm very excited about this.
Here's what I'm looking at for Thursday night. I want
to I would just want to walk through some of
this with you and see if you guys agree with me. Okay,
So Dak Prescott Prize Picks has him at one point
five passing touchdowns, So you got to pick either less

(02:48):
or more.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Everybody feel comfortable with more.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
I definitely took more on that because I think if you,
I don't know how many games you have to go back.
I don't even remember the last time he was less
than that. So I have six of these I got
to get right. So that's number one, Okay, So I
went more on one point five passing touchdowns from Dak.
Number two, Dak Prescott two hundred and sixty nine point
five passing yards.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
More. I went with more.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
More. Okay, there's two to sixty nine point five, yep,
so's he gonna get two seventy? I thought I saw
that Detroit's passing defenses giving up two hundred and seventy
one yards a game and they're starting cornerbacks out for
the year. Yeah, yeah, more. It's a massive game for
the Cowboys. This is gonna be a statement win.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
He he does less than that on games where the
Cowboys lose or when they're beating bad teams. But when
they're like the last couple of games against the Chiefs
and the Eagles, over three hundred yards, it's gonna be
a shootout.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, ceed Lamb, they've got it at seventy nine point
five yards.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I'm going with more. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
I looked at that and I didn't know which way
to go on it, because it really is that's a
that's a good number to where you scratch your head
and go home, because a lot of times they'll force
feed him the rock, but it's a bunch of you know,
ten and fifteen yard dink and dunks, and then they'll
throw one forty five yard pass to Pickens, right.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Ben just to force feed us the rock all the
time telling us about that.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Such a great man. I think I hope he does
run for president. Have you guys seen that Mma movie?
George Pickens five point five receptions more? Ooh that's tough. Okay,
okay more George Pickens.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
In his last five games six nine, six seven? Did
you do the thing with your hands?

Speaker 1 (04:39):
No?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
I didn't do it. Were you playing with boops? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
George Pickens point five receiving or rushing touchdowns?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
More? Good job. Now you have to take one thing
on the same team.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
So obviously I'm focused on the Cowboys here, and so
that brings us to Jamiir Gibbs, which is the sixth
and final thing with regard to this that could make
or break it for me.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Now, I love Jamiir Gibbs.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
He's absolutely carrying me this year in the highly prestigious
Ryles Cup Fantasy football League. Jamiir Gibbs seventy seven point
five rushing yards. Now, this is complicated because the Cowboys
have three good defensive tackles. People aren't running the ball
and the Cowboys anymore. However, Jamiir Gibbs is a beast.

(05:22):
He might be the best running back in football, and
he breaks long runs all the time. So even if
they somewhat keep him in check, I think he's gonna
I think he's gonna be able to eclipse that. And
so based on the love I'm giving Jamiir Alabama's finest,
maybe the best running back in the league, definitely in
the discussion, I'm going with more on seventy seven point
five rushing yards.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
That's where it gets tricky.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
I was looking at that number and he's coming off
a big game, and like you say, he's been good.
But here's the problem. The problem is that if it
is a shootout, then both teams go to the air
and don't know what the Cowboys run defense is.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Currently.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
We think we know, but Kat has point been tested
that much. So it's one of those deals been where
like let's say Detroit gets the ball first and just
marches down the field and scores, and then Dallas is
playing from behind, then I think you're good.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
It's just one of those things where I followed his
season really closely because he's carried me, so I watch
him all of his games, and a lot of times
he'll have like fourteen or fifteen carries for like one
hundred and fifty yards. It's like, what, dude, he doesn't
even have to get the ball that many times to
have an outstanding day.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I think you're gonna have a nice fantasy run there, dude.
I'd be curious to see what our friends over at
Prize Picks have on Ross Dwelly and Tom Kennedy. Those
are two guys that Detroit is going to have to
throw the ball to. Now O. Rossdwlly got he got
to some red zone snaps at tight end. It's the
third tight end.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Tom Kennedy off the practice squad had like five catches.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Keep an eye on those guys. Okay, okay, my.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Click to pick, I feel like you should be Yeah,
I feel like you should save all that for five
oh five and we do cussin the Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah all right.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I posted these selections on my Twitter account on x

(09:16):
We're gonna be at the Pluckers in Addison. Come join
us three to six. That'll be the last pair of tickets.
We have to see bad Omens for the week, so
an added bonus to go along with your wings and
your beer. But right now it's time for this.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Track, another edition of things Sin is Tracking.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
I got a bunch of quick hit stuff here, but
I want to start today. In the Athletic they had
an oral history of Maxi Kleba's air ball layup.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Oh my god, it was bad.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I saw it and I saw Lebron cracking up on
the bench, and it was just a god, what happened
to our guy? No, no, no, it's funny. So he
took it all very well. And as it turns out,
somehow Gabe Vincent, who was a backup guard for the Lakers,
remembered in two thousand and seven when JJ Reddick had

(10:08):
an airball lap nice. So the point of the article
is that and this ended up being a good thing.
It's embarrassing for Maxi, but they turned it into the
entire team loves Maxi, and that airball layup won them
the game because the circumstances where the Lakers were blowing
out the Pelicans, and then they just stopped. They started

(10:30):
playing with their food and stopped painting attention, and they
lost all their momentum. And they had gone four straight
possessions without scoring. And then suddenly Maxi has a potential
and one driving layup and he finger rolls the layup
and it goes backwards okay, and then the announcers are like,
oh my gosh, the rim jammed him up, and then

(10:50):
they replayed he goes. It looks like he just didn't
have enough to get it there. They're trying to be
nice about it. And then to Ben's point, they cut
to Lebron, who's laughing so hard covers his face, and
then Maxi has to go to the free throw line.
He makes both free throws. When he makes the second one,
DeAndre Ayton gives him a standing ovation on the bench.
And then the Lakers got all their mojo back and

(11:12):
blew out the Pelicans. And so then they they go
in there and they talk to like nine different people
and they're all talking about, man, we love Maxi so
much and his energy is so good. We couldn't stop laughing.
And it reinvigorated us and He's the reason we won
that kick because of his airball lamp. So if you
have not seen the clip of it, go watch it.

(11:33):
It's very funny, and then take the time to read
the article. It's great stuff. It is really good.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
I hate that that's now going to be his basketball
legacy though.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Yeah. Yeah, going on his tombstone, air bawled a finger
roll lap.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
The ball goes backwards. It's crazy. It is crazy.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
He's going forward and the ball he blew the bunny.
It's so funny, dude, it's so funny. Anyway, So that's
that all right. About two weeks ago, we were talking
about fringe cable channels and I talked to you guys
about watching AXS and you know, we were watching The

(12:13):
Greatest Mysteries and rock music, which Christina, it's really good
fodder for your cookie jar, it really is. But last
night I was slipping around and I think this is
a staple of KT and Christina's teenage years.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Fuse TV. Yes, have you ever heard of fuse TV? Ben,
It's fuse TV.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Like what they show a like super cuts and kids
doing skate tricks and stuff and wild videos.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
No, there is a name for that though, okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
No.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Fuse TV was the Canadian MTV, and so they used
to show music videos.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
It was twenty four to seven music videos, no commercials ever.

Speaker 1 (12:53):
And I seem to recall the times that I stumbled
across it. It was definitely like emo rock and yes,
and maybe that was just the time period of what
was happening.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Six yeah, five oh six. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
So I hadn't thought about fuse TV in a million years.
But as we talk about, things reinvent themselves in the
streaming air. So I'm flipping around. I try to find
things that I can fall asleep to within five minutes, Like,
all right, what is just good white noise? You know,
you know, all the things you recommend would put me
to sleep in five minutes. The Robin Noodle documentary is

(13:25):
great to sleep too. So I saw and I didn't
even realize I was watching Fuse TV, but I saw
Freddie Mercury something and I was like, all right, it's
probably some documentary, and I put it on and start
watching it. And there's a style of documentary. There's documentary
that's theatrical, and then there's documentary that's made for cable,

(13:47):
you know, the style I'm talking about right, Like, it's
the way they do the crime scene stuff where they
repeat the same thing going into the.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Break and out of the break, right movies.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Yeah, the grease and rejoins, constant resets, constant rejoins, bad narration,
talking heads, the same talking head comes back in the
next break.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
I mean, it's it's that filling time. Yeah, they're filling time.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
And so then when they went to a commercial break,
I realized I was watching Fuse TV because I hadn't
thought about it in forever. And you can get their
content guys on Fuse TV and Fuse plus.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
The Grassy episodes on there.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
I don't know, maybe if you want to see early
Drake because it is very Canadian. But but I started
thinking about the fate of old cable channels that used
to just crank back in the day, so many like
Fixer Upper channels, Cuban Head one didn't he Axsy still
have it or not? I think he sold it. I'm
pretty sure he sold it. Remember Robert Wolanski did a

(14:50):
movie review show on it.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Oh yeah, dude, I remember that. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
I mean Wolansky would go to all the big film
festivals and have I remember watching Robert Wolansky sitting down
with h Now I'm blanking on the name of the
drummer for the police, Stuart Copeland. He had a whole
interview with Stuart Copeland at sun Dance. They're sitting there
on a you know, there's snow everywhere. It's it's amazing.
But yeah, those channels used to thrive, and now they're

(15:17):
all dying because to send Robert Rolanski to a film
festival with a camera crew.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
And all the expenses that go.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Into that, yeah, you're not gonna make up the money
and the ad sales in it.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
So it's like, right, we're not gonna do that.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
And so I thought about that, and I was like,
how do those things continue on? And now I'm on
a mission. I'll see what I can find out. How
many cable channels that we used to scroll through a
decade ago now have their variation of Fuse plus.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
How many of them have.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Streaming apps or some sort of streaming platform or some
sort of plus.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
And I'm dying to know how well fuse plus is doing.
It changed our identity to survive, Yes, because it's not
Emo music Vine anymore. Clearly. I mean that Whitch one
plus Max probably exists.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
It's gotta So that's my next research project. As I
still look, I still have AT and T to that
I do. I still have AT and t U verse.
So I'm still going through channels looking at International ghost
Hunter or whatever pops up in the middle than I am.
You know, Hey, here's my Junkyard sale. You know all
those shows that used to be everywhere. There used to
be a whole industry of reality television shows. Everyone had

(16:27):
the gas Monkey guy, for example, he's still doing stuff.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Yeah, I just don't know where it is. Maybe there's
gas Monkey plus, I don't rich.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
All right, there you have it. There's things Skin is tracking,
Christina's cookie Jar coming up? Why Peta is coming after
Alison Chains? But next we got movie news. I will
review the movie Bogonia. Next, Happy hump Day everybody. Christina's
cookie Jar is coming up momentarily, Why Peta is coming
after Alison Chains? Will go around the Amazon coming up
at four o'clock, and then we'll talk a little sports

(16:55):
at four fifteen.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
But right now it's time for this.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Top the.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Sting, the Giant Icle, the Moon. Right.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
So when I went to Los Angeles, I was able
to download a movie and watch it on the plane,
which is the best way to go because it just
makes the flight fly on by.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
This is a two hour movie.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
It's called Boona and it's a movie that Kat highly recommended.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
And all you told me and.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Told us is that it was a weird movie and
it absolutely delivered every bit of that. Let me just
say one thing that he told me that impacted me
going in, and he wasn't the only one. There was
another person that told me that's going in, I think
it's as good as one battle after another.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
So I was taking that knowledge. It wasn't just Kat,
it was KT. But I'll tell you I did not
like it as much as one battle after another. But
I said it's very close. You said very close, and
so did this other person. So I went into the
movie with that thought in my brain. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
I think the way you said it, if I recall,
or the way it impacted me with what you were saying,
was that there would be oscar buzz that might be
more significant from this movie or might threaten.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Yes, Leo and everything absolutely anyway.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Plot follows Bee keepers, Teddy and his cousin Don Jesse
Plemons plays Teddy, and they kidnap a pharmaceutical CEO played
by Emma Stone because they believe she is an alien
secretly trying to destroy humanity, and so I don't want

(18:35):
to go too deep down the rabbit hole because I
don't want to give up too much of it. But
it's basically phenomenal acting by both Plemons and Stone, and
I did love the movie. I didn't enjoy the ending
quite as much as the beginning, but it's really well
done and it's a good m night Shyamalan curveball thrown there,

(18:56):
and definitely the acting is stellar, but I didn't like
it near as much as one battle after another.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
What do you want to say about it, Kevin? I
do agree with you that we did not need in
the last five minutes of this movie to just five
though the last scene, okay, the last reveal did not
need to happen in my opinion, but it's some people
might have liked that part of it. It takes it.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
It takes it to a completely different sphere of what
you're watching. Like it's literally like ninety five percent of
the movie is one way, and there are some subtle
hints as to what they're going to do, but when
they do, what they do. It's a completely different viewing experience.
I would say it's a one to eighty and it's

(19:45):
not like a who Done it kind of thing. It's
just like, oh, this is a completely different film than
what I was thinking I was watching.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
I still never felt like I knew what was going
to happen, which I do appreciate that and you have
like little ideas, but I never was about what was
going to happen. And I will just say this about anything.
If you're going to give me a movie, it's two hours,
and I never get bored. Hell yeah, oh yeah, that's
whatever it is. I mean, I'm heart stumping every scene.
It's never boring. That's fair.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
I did never get bored, but I did know exactly
what was going to happen.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
I was.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
I was still a little bit surprised when it did happen,
but I felt like that was the direction that it
was all funneling. It reminded me in a way of
the substance with Demi Moore.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Right now, whereas it's just.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Wild af and so out there that you can't predict
exactly you know what's going to happen, but you can
tell it's something Weird's coming.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
But it was good.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
It was It was definitely worth the price of buying
it for my flight. It's just I don't think it's
anywhere near. You know, the DiCaprio movie. There's a thing
that they talk about in you know, media studies where
they talk about, uh, there's deconstruction, and when deconstruction happens,
a lot of times it happens for what they call
re inscription. So in other words, here's a movie of

(21:03):
a like a Western, I'm gonna have I'm going to
break down the Western and what it means, and then
at the end of it, I'm ultimately going to reinforce
everything that is the Western. That's what a deconstruction is.
They show you all the parts, show you why they work,
and then they reinscribe it to you. This is why
you like Westerns. This happened, okay, there is ultimately, Like

(21:24):
when you're watching this movie, you're thinking, okay, or at
least I was thinking. This is a very crafty commentary
on Internet conspiracy culture and how it affects people, you know,
much in the way Summer of Sam is about the
climate of fear. This is about the climate of being
isolated and buying into conspiracies on the internet when you're
by yourself, and then they do something that totally reinforces

(21:47):
the idea of why people do that and what it
means to them, and it is like, okay, so what
is your reason for making this movie?

Speaker 2 (21:54):
That was wild? But it is incredibly entertaining, and you're right.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
The acting is phenomenal, the acting, and you could see
either either one of them getting some big time award
for it, and even both yeah, maybe both I wouldn't
be fantastic. We highly recommend it. Kati still undefeated in
pop culture recommendations. Pagonia gets the job done. Christina, we
are you gonna take us in the Cookie Jar?

Speaker 4 (22:19):
I have another rock war for you guys. This time
it's Pet versus Alison Chain's next.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Problems Heads and for Christina's Cookie Jar.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
So I do first want to mention I told you
guys just Monday that Flea was about to release a
solo album. He released a song just yesterday. I listened
to it this morning, and it's actually pretty awesome?

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Is it instrumentals?

Speaker 4 (23:07):
They're singing Towards the end, it's more jazzy cool, And
it starts with this really cool bass obviously, but then
there's some trumpet that comes in. And seriously, I don't
consider myself a jazz lover, but when I was playing it,
I was like, man, this song is awesome.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
You reminded me the other day of when I first
got into James Addiction and the Nothing Shocking record came
out when Ben and I were in high school, and
I remember looking at the credits and seeing that Flea
played trumpet in it. Yeah, and that was one of
the things that just always stuck out to me. It's
like a real simple little trumpet part or whatever. I
was like, Flee plays trumpet. That's weird, and I hadn't
thought about it in thirty five years, and then you

(23:44):
brought that up.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
The other year.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
You're welcome, and I do think you would like this
song as being a jazz fan yourself, So check it out.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
It's called a Plea by Flea, A Plea by Flee,
A Plea by Flee. Skin.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
You've always been a fan of Karl Malone and the
jazz and everything. Yeah, that's my guy, especially what he
did when he was in college.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Okay, so PETA People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals,
go ahead, Katie, I'm glad you're gonna say.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Katy face.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Then Allison Chains a letter and it says, dear Jerry, Seawan, Mike,
and William coming to you with a wonderfully strange request
from us at PETA. Would Alison Chains be willing to
go by Betty in chains across social media for a
month to spotlight a dear elephant who literally spends her
life in chains just a month.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
On social media.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Now, a little backstory on sweet Betty the Elephant here,
because now I'm kind of on Pete's side. Really, Betty
the Elephant has been with the Card and Circus for
fifty six years, basically her entire life in chains, and
so they had an elephant expert just check up on
her recently, and apparently if she doesn't go to an
elephant sanctuary soon, she could fatally collapse.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
My god, all because of Alison Chains.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
No, but she'll collapse unless she but but she's.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Getting the no.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
It's yeah, it's like the elephant version of atrophy, right sure,
Like if you're you know, and when you're like bedridden people,
they stop losing their muscles, don't work right the chains
all the time. Can they take an elephant that's been
in captivity for that long and just release it in Richardson.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
I mean, I would think Peter would know that if
that's okay or not. But yeah, they're saying that she
needs to go to a sanctuary, and so they're just
bringing awareness to it.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
I've always it's always creeked me out to see elephants
at the circus, just because you've seen the social media
clips of them stomping on people right right ow Ham. Yeah,
you know the the other thing that I just realized,
why this is good, not that the elephant is going
to collapse, but good that Pete is doing this. I
had no idea that Alison chains a new lead singer

(26:01):
after Lane Staley died, So this is really pumping life
into their career. You just read off four names like, well,
they didn't say Lane, so at least they know he's dead. Yeah,
I didn't know Alison Change was still a band. Yeah,
this is great for them. Betty is saving their career.
This is where Peter's missing the mark a little bit though.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Instead of telling everyone else what to do, why don't
you go do something that's good man?

Speaker 1 (26:21):
They missed the mark. They need to do better. They
need to do better. Okay, changing the band name Alison change. Literally,
no one's thinking about that often. No ever is not
gonna help this elephant.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
Well okay, No, I kind of agree with you, Kat
because I'm like, okay, so you just want awareness that
this is going on. Well you got it now because
it's in the headline. So they don't really need to
do anything now.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
People that are in their fifties that were really into
grunge in the early nineties are now thinking about this elephant.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
This is a legit story that's in afternoon Drive in
a top five market to millions of listeners all across
the globe on the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
And we play Alison Chains on our station. So what
can and Peter do to help? Because now we're just
doing their work for them.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
No, I again, I do agree with you because I
had to go to Google. I was like, okay, so
what can I do to help this sweet little elephant
and Betty And there is a whole list of things.
You just google it if you want. We'll do PETA's
work for them.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
So the understand, which is good job, Thank you. There
it goes all right. Coming up next in the news quickie,
We're gonna take us, Kevin, it's time to go around
the Amazon. I cannot believe they're going to try to
do this next.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
Give me that moves, quickie. So I've got two stories
as we go around the Amazon. First of all, Amazon's
trying something in two cities called Amazon Now. Is this
like the new Netflix thing that they're doing down the
street the Netflix store? Yeah, it's not quite like that

(27:49):
Netflix store. I've heard is gonna be pretty awesome though. Yeah,
I want to go. Is it open next week? Next week?

Speaker 1 (27:54):
They're having some big media party next week where you
can go get a sneak preview.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Yeah, but it opens next Thursday, okay, the eleventh. Yeah.
So they're they're trying us in Seattle and in Philadelphia,
and if it works, they're going to start to move
it to other big cities. I would assume we are
high on the list. Amazon Now is basically, you order something,
there's a three a dollar ninety nine cent uh delivery fee,

(28:22):
and you have whatever you order in thirty minutes. Oh
with drones. You know, I didn't say that in the article,
which I would assume it is drones. But he's in traffic.
How could you get anywhere in thirty minutes and w that.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Doesn't make sense to me how they can execute that,
and it's not doesn't seem like it's enough money.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
I mean, we're they're starting with you know, we're talking groceries,
which they're wonderful, very nice people. My neighbors to the left,
they're never outside. They order food all the time. They
only vote Democrats or order whatever, all the food. It's
it's crazy. There's so nice. When I do see them outside,
which is rare, they're very nice, but like they're not leaving,

(29:07):
coming and going a lot. Now across the street from me,
it is an older lady, very old, hot, just very old.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
She coming and going. Oh, doesn't stop what Firs's going here,
going there, moving around all right?

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Think about this.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
This This tells you that Amazon feels like as they
dominate Earth and to get ninety percent of old business,
they're like.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
There's still a market we need to get.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
We need to go after that market that wants something
in the next thirty minutes, and we're going to lose
money doing it, because there's no way that makes sense
for them for four ninety nine, for four and nine
to get something immediately they're going after because you can
have groceries delivered by whatever, AGB, Kroger or whatever. I
think they all pretty much deliver groceries. They're saying, no, no,

(29:53):
we got to stomp that out too. We need that
business as well.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
You know, it's interesting.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
I'm listening to what you're saying, Ben, but I couldn't
focus because I was thinking about why Kevin just brought
up his neighbors to the left and to the right
in the middle of that Amazon story.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Yeah, thirteen ninety nine is the delivery fee. If you're
not a prime member. Yep, Okay, they want you to
be a proud That's how the subscribed to our stuff.
We'll see how this goes. We'll keep in contact with
our sources in Seattle and Philadelphia to tell us how
this goes. Now we have a Texas element to this though,
because the FAA is investigating Amazon after one of its

(30:29):
delivery drones snapped an Internet cable in central Texas. Oh man,
it was dropping off a package in Waco and one
of the propellers got tangled up in a cable line.
And then there's video of it that shows the cable
being snapped and the drones trying to make the soft
landing in the customer's yard. There's no injuries, but there

(30:50):
were internet outages widespread in the Waco area for hours
because of this. Dude, that's kind of like pluribus. Yeah,
it is all I kept thinking about us. Yeah. Yeah,
the drone elements there's fascinating. There's also the coyote wolf
element that's fascinating as well.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
I'm just like so fascinated as to how long is
it worth being alive?

Speaker 5 (31:15):
You know?

Speaker 1 (31:15):
I mean, there's like so much stuff that I don't
want to be around for. We're getting close, AI, It's
happening so quickly, and I look at some of this
and go, Okay, when do I want to be dead
and just miss all that? I think, just you least
want to be around long enough for sex robots, okay?

Speaker 2 (31:29):
And then right after that, don't we have all? You
have one?

Speaker 3 (31:33):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (31:33):
No, we went to school. I would never What do
you mean you would never? That's not something I would
partake in. Why this is not something I would do?
What do you mean It's not like Burt Reynolds would
pose nude. I wouldn't do that, right, Well.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Why are you always shopping Why are you always browsing
and asking us pricing questions about different options?

Speaker 2 (31:52):
You don't know where I shop?

Speaker 4 (31:54):
Also Christmas gift ideas, that's why he's doing it.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Do those things use luber oil difference?

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Yep A lou isn't oil two four.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Three? Yeah? All right, there you have it. That clearly
ran out of uh ran out of firepower. There coming
out next and around the sports we get you ready
for MAVs Heat and play you the greatest sports song
of all time. That's just three minutes away. Don't go anywhere.
That's next right here on the Eagle Ben and Skin
Show ninety some point one. The Eagle be listening, gonna
give away those bad Omens tickets. You're gonna need the

(32:27):
iHeart app.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
You know how we do. If you listen to the
Ben and Skin Show.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Also make plans to join us Friday in Addison at
the Pluckers right there off belt Line. We'll be there
from three to six doing the show. Come hang in person,
get your weekend started right. But right now it's time
for this.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Now this go around the sports, KGD quints as.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
All the sports. Yeah, I want to give you guys
five minutes to talk some MAVs stuff. But first Solane
Kiffin left Old Miss, went to you and all of
his players. I mean, he says in his statement that
his players wanted him to stay. Now a huge report,
and his players are like, that's not at all that's
going on. He's a good riddance home. I see you, budd,

(33:11):
I love that now. A few weeks ago there was
a controversy because a reporter said this in a podcast,
you can't turn a hoe into a housewife. Lane Kiffin
took that literally, went up to the guy and said,
you call me a hope. Come say to me in
here and see what happens. Nice. That's a threat. Oh,
that's a threat. They throw down. They did not throw down.
The guy looked like a character from the Goonies. Yeah

(33:32):
he did. He was He has a boyish face.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
He looked like he was twenty, but he's forty as
and he totally backed down or was terrified.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Yeah. So then Lane is the expression when he calls
someone a ho, that's just wrong. Like the guy was
making a reference to something that you clearly don't get. Well,
there's a song going around that's just amazing. I think
it's one of the great sports Songs of the Year.
At least it's called Lane Kiffin is a bitch. Lane
Kiffin as a hoe on ninety the Eagle. Here's a

(34:00):
bitchyki okay queen on his team. Then slip Goda do
play kipping. There's a bitch billy keeping the talk that
hop about Autumn World joke. Look out what is man's hey?

Speaker 3 (34:13):
James lying to add up Queen honest team on over
the playoff, sending gritty Queen's got the bitch love.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Gay gone bro, we gonna be just fun talking gas
going man games all the time.

Speaker 6 (34:32):
Kivin.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
There's a bitch Dinny Kivin bit quick on this team.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
Then slip the don't you have that in your head
for the next week, I didn't bouncer fund my house
doing lean Givin, it's a bitch. Uh So that's a
heater playing Kiffin. Update for today Maps Heat Tonight Here
ninety sevent won the Eagle home the Maps. Yep, you
guy's gonna wat he wants us to take it over.
Watch Hell yeah, I'm gonna be there.

Speaker 3 (34:57):
Dog.

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Oh, it's home game.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
It's a home game. Now you want to hear something crazy?
The Miami Heat are. They have scored one hundred and
forty points five times already this year. Well bring oh
my god, we just beat the Nuggets, so bring it
and tell you that it's you brought that up them
and the Nuggets have been flipping for most points scored
per game Miami's there's a stat called pace and it's

(35:18):
basically how many possessions do you average per game? And
they they average their pace is higher than any team
in NBA history since they've been keeping the stats starting
in nineteen ninety six, okay, which just means they're either
getting up and down the floor or they take shots
quick in the shot clock. So it's like constant pressure,

(35:40):
constant pressure, constant pressure. Do you have a good feel
for what's going on with Derek Lively's injury? Uh, I
don't have anything. I think he was in a boot
yesterday and I know he had a stress fracture, and
I believe that the team was at odds. I mean,
there's been a lot of chaos with regard to me

(36:00):
and everybody in the training department, I guess, or some
of the I don't know, but it goes way back
and even to it goes way back. But the idea
that he had a stress fracture. Did he maybe come
back too early? I remember Nico saying, no, no, this
is good news.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
We caught it.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
And then I don't know, but he remember so.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Last year, probably around February, I don't remember the date.
I have to go back and look at the story,
but he was listed a day to day and then
he was listed his game time decision and then later
that day they said he's got a stress fracture.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Yeah. And so basically.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
The internet and media were like, wait a minute. See,
this was even before the story came out about the
infighting between that Belton dude who replaced Casey Smith. And
then they brought in this other head of training that
they got from the Celtics. I blinked on he was
above Belton. Yeah, but he didn't hire Belton.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
No, he's gone.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
He didn't have the right credentials or something right. And
this guy, the other guy, is still with the MAVs.
Ok he's the guy that was talking to Patrick Dumont
about Anthony Davis. Okay, because remember Anthony Davis and Nico.
According to reports, this is not my reports, this is
Temcmana's reports. Nico and Anthony Davis wanted to come back,
and then that guy who I'm blanking on his name,

(37:15):
and Patrick Dumont said no, no, no, no, no, we're
gonna wait on this.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
So that caused a lot of problems, and because there
was already so much questioning of what Nico was doing,
that became even more magnified because it's like, you traded Luca,
you don't even have the right medical staff, you ran
off Casey Smith.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
You know, it was all of that was just piling up.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
And so the bottom line is that with players the
size of Derek Lively that are built like Derek Lively,
when you start have stress fracture, you start getting upset,
like as a fan or as an organization because traditionally
that does not work out well for guys that length,
that skinny, you know, bones like that, it's it's generally

(38:03):
not a good thing. Like real Famously, the guy that
was drafted one spot ahead of Michael Jordan Sam Bowie,
he had those things. And then when you're that size,
it's like, well, when is that supposed to get better?
As he starts growing into his body, but you know
he because he's in a boot. I think that's and also,
you know, he had ankle surgery this summer and supposedly

(38:25):
there's a bunch.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Of swelling going on. But man, the modern.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
No offense to Jason Kidd, but the whole way that
they handle medical stuff is like just from the outside, like, man,
this is such a waste of time.

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Why are we even like you're telling us nothing?

Speaker 1 (38:40):
Oh, I mean when they talk about things and then
we asked the coach and he goes, I'm not I'm
just that's medical hippolaws and such, you know, So it's like, well,
are we going It's whether or not. Like a Sham's
or a McMahon gets to a player's agent and he
tells him what's really going on. Otherwise you don't get
real information. So ad playing tonight, you think, yes, I do. Okay, dude,

(39:02):
his numbers are insane. When he plays, he is so
freaking good. Yeah, And I also I think Gafford and PJ.
Washington Junior have a strong chance of being back. I
haven't seen the reports as of today, but they're kind
of like they had a good chance to playing.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
Man, they got a little momentum going right now.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
If they beat the heat, man, that's that's gonna be
great because they got a tough weekend coming up. Well,
will the big store in the NBA right now is
will the Thunder set the old time win record? And
then and they're already super young, And then get the
Clippers lottery pick. They may have two top ten picks
this year. All right, there you have. If there's around
the sports, we'll cuss the Cowboys coming up at five.

(39:38):
Coming up next in the TV news, Stranger Things is
setting records.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
We'll talk about that show and more next. So Netflix
is up to stuff. Clearly. We talked you about the
new Netflix store opening at the Gallery of Mall next Thursday.
Stranger Thing this is back on Thanksgiving with four episodes,

(40:02):
and they're going to have the final three of the
entire series will drop on Christmas Day. The numbers are
insane for the last week, so I'm just going to
give you guys just a little heads up. The number
two most watched thing on Netflix in America over the
last week was Kevin Hart's new stand up special with
nine million people. I considered watching that, and then twenty

(40:25):
seconds later I stopped thinking about it. Yeah, same, So
nine million is number two.

Speaker 1 (40:31):
How many people you think watch Stranger Things the newest
season thirty five million higher.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
Wow, I Oh, let's do it this way. Who's up next? Been,
You're up next?

Speaker 4 (40:42):
Fifty million higher, sixty million lower, fifty five higher, fifty
eight million higher, Oh, fifty nine million hire, fifty nine
point five million higher, fifty nine point eight million lower,
fifty nine point seven million lower, fifty.

Speaker 1 (40:59):
Nine point six million, fifty nine point six million. People
look things So God, I'm good at this. I watched
the first one last night. It's an hour and eleven
minutes long, and it's way too long. You can clearly
see that David Harber and Millie Bobby Brown don't like
each other.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
Oh they're refuting that Kevin Wow. Chemistry on the screen
is what it is.

Speaker 4 (41:22):
But they got over it right when they were doing
the press for this season, when they're like, oh, no,
we're good, we're best friends now, when it.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Was time to get over it, Yeah, they overdid It's
what they did.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
I think David Harbor is in bon Jovi now, so
I know this was a big deal to my daughter
who's about to be fifteen. So I bet all the
young people are way into this and for them it's
been a part of their whole journey, right, Yes, it's
a six year journey.

Speaker 4 (41:47):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (41:48):
Like that, maybe even longer than that. But you know,
for me watching it, I liked the production value. I
liked the nostalgia. But man, I fell off at some point,
just kind of quit watching it. And I tried to
back in and watch it, and I'm like, Okay, it's
still vibe and elements and all this stuff, and then
I just ended up like reading text messages and tweets
and stuff, and I was like, oh gosh, I'm not

(42:08):
paying attention.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
So let's think about this. Do you know what year
it came out? Twenty fifteen? It did twel Okay, so
it's been going on for a decade.

Speaker 1 (42:17):
So we had we talked about I remember when we
talked about it on the fan the first time because
it was my wife.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
That was like we were driving back for It's a
Stranger Things. I loved it. You guys have me onto it. Okay.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Then Ben befriended David Harbor. We had him on the show,
so that happened all on the fan. So the last
time I watched the show was season two and the
girl who's married to Bon Jovie's son was a teenager
and she still had a shaved head, and so I
have not watched it since. And my kids, to Ben's
point our way, they've plowed through all the episodes. My

(42:50):
son is like holding up a foam finger, dude. It's incredible.
And I'm sitting here trying to make the decision do
I want to go back and watch season three and
season four then watch this, And I'm like, but these
kids don't look like kids anymore, and that's going to
bother the f out of me.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
That's definitely. It's a hard thing to like because now
they introduced in season three and four some younger sisters,
and now they're getting older too. It's very strange. It's
very hard to like. You get you just gotta you
gotta just take yourself saying that they're in high school
and you just have to tell yourself that. To me,
it's kind of like The Walking Dead. I'm like, I

(43:27):
know what the premise is here, and it's going to
be the same premise every season, every season, so I
don't really want to. I don't care anymore. They get
in a pickle, eleven gets them out of the pickle,
and then but now underground and the upside down there's
a military base, so things are, things are heating up.
I'm a little bit of a completist, like I. It'll

(43:48):
just bothers the crap out of me if I have
an unread email.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
But you know what you're dealing with right now, right
This is a common phenomenon known as Gary Coleman syndrome.
So Gary colem And was going to remain the same
size no matter what. So when different strokes started and
was like, Okay, this is cool. And then three years
into it, it's like, why is willis five times bigger
than Yeah? Then what's his name now? And so it's

(44:14):
weird when one guy stayed a little bitty Arnold. Arnold
stayed a little bitty and then everybody else grew and
it worked for Webster because he didn't have any siblings.
We know what they're doing for a Euphoria Season three
Euphoria on HBO, they would let me guess gay sex.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
Well, I'm sure that we live. There's so many dogs
in that show. But they are advancing the store. They're
taking it to real time. They're in college now, okay, okay,
sween and run it back like they're all in high school.
Sidney Sweeney's doing OnlyFans in that, right, Uh?

Speaker 4 (44:46):
Is she?

Speaker 2 (44:46):
I think she's an old one. That's what I read.

Speaker 1 (44:47):
Which that's the number one thing you can tell me
to make me watch the show. That marketing is working,
you know.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
I think what you could tell a lot about Euphoria
is I feel like Zendaya like doesn't want to do it,
but Sidney Sweeney absolutely does want to do it. A
about that other little Mexican cheerleader, yal, she's not that
big of a deal anymore. I mean really, it's Jeded
Abbatow's daughter is a bigger deal. And Maud that her
name made that sounds right.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
Jacob Lord's the other guy. He's Frankenstein. Yeah, he's good.
And I didn't know he was British. I saw an
interview with him.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
He's in that. He's not He's in that British movie
where that guy gets in the tub and starts licking
the drain.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Now that's Saltburn. Oh yeah he is that?

Speaker 3 (45:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (45:26):
Absolutely is there Oxford guys, Yes, that Frankenstein thing. He's
really good in that, is he? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (45:32):
That's on Netflix right now. It's it's not I don't
want to oversell it, but it's worth maybe watching. If
you're in a drought, everyone watch. Yeah, I don't know
about that, all right, coming up next just three minutes
away from the today game, surprise.

Speaker 2 (46:03):
We do know that Trayvon Diggs is out for tomorrow's game.
There's a lot of talk about it maybe getting out there,
but he's going to be out for tomorrow's night's game.
Tyler Geyton, your right tackle, your left tackle will be
out for tomorrow night's game. So will be the Nate
Thomas game. Nate Thomas, the Travis Frederick Blocking Hunger Charity
Foundation Long Drive champion. Huge man had like three point

(46:25):
fifty incredible, and he's played well. When he's played, he's
played very good. Your game time decisions will be Jadeveon
Clowney and Malie Cooker, two guys. They need to keep
the defense, you know, doing what the defense has been doing.

Speaker 1 (46:37):
Do you guys agree that currently Quinn Williams and over
shown are two of their five best defensive players?

Speaker 2 (46:44):
Yes, okay, yeah, they're two best, right, Yeah, And Clowny's
their best pass rusher probably, I mean, Don mes Rick
has been good, but clown he's been pretty awesome.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
Yeah, one year mid season you want to get off
the couch. Deal been pretty good. It does make me one,
why does he like for the last five years he
goes and plays one season and then bounces. So I'm like,
why is that? Because I'm center thinking do they want
to bring him back? But I'm like, man, he's got
this tendency to do one.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
Thing in like a lot of it's probably just like
pretty decent. Maybe I can hit my incentives that drives
him a little bit.

Speaker 1 (47:18):
And I don't know he's in he's old now, so yeah,
I just think he doesn't want to play till October.

Speaker 2 (47:23):
Yeah, I don't think he wants to go to camp, right.

Speaker 1 (47:26):
You know, man, they are in such a great situation
and Jerry Jones deserves so much credit. We kill Jerry
all the time, but some of these moves have really
paid off. And if you like, I still think it.
You know, it screwed their season, especially at the beginning
of the season by trading Micah on the eve of
the launch of the season.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
He's their best player.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
But I really like the way things are now and
I wish, you know, and if overshown had been healthy
and they had Quinn.

Speaker 2 (47:53):
Williams from the jump.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
I mean, maybe maybe we're not talking about what a
long shot it is for them to make the post season.
Maybe they're you know, maybe they're winning the NFC East
right now. But I really feel good about where they
are and where they're going. But have you guys stopped
to just like, uh, look at what the overall net
net of the trade is now? Like if you look

(48:16):
at not now, just the way what they gave up
and then what they acquired and then gave up to
get Quinn Williams. But if as the dust settles, like
the overall net net of are they better off now,
especially if they're able to sign George Pickens with that
money that they were going to have to pay Micah?
Are they better off without Micah? Basically is what I'm asking.

(48:36):
I think a lot of it's going to come down
to to see what happens no offense KT with the Packers.
I mean, I really don't think it's outrageous to think
that the Cowboys have a better or the Packers have
a better first round pick than the Cowboys and.

Speaker 2 (48:49):
They get both of them. It's not crazy at all.

Speaker 1 (48:51):
I don't think it's games is tough, and I think
if that happens, then you're going to feel really good
about how it ultimately worked out. Honestly, both teams are
because they each have quarterbacks who are top five MVP candidates, right,
So there's something I think that goes into it. Jordan
Love and Dak Prescott have been incredible.

Speaker 2 (49:07):
Yeah. Also, Matti Eraflus should get credit after we dumped
on him for two months, and he should have been
dumped on. But like to come back from all that
time off and lose a defensive player who was getting
snaps in marsh On Nealan rist In Peace. But to
sit there and play Kenny Clark, Quentin Williams and Osa
and you didn't have to, it's not the conventional thing

(49:28):
to do. To play them all at once has been great.
Now here's two things the Cowboys need to prove, because
I do. I am a big believer in this one.
You haven't done it on the road yet. The Raiders
game does not count as a home that's a Cowboy
home game, yeah, and the Raid at home. But the
Chiefs and Eagles, we need the signature road victory in Detroit.
Detroit needs this game, yeah, very badly too. The second

(49:49):
thing that I still am not sure that they've done.
They have done it, but I'm not sure that another
team has tried it. No one's really tried to run
the ball on them yet. So while we think they
could probably stop it, why hasn't anyone tried it? Probably
because they're like Quinn Williams is there. It's not gonna
be good for us, but I still need to see
it proven by a team who is like, no, we
are going to push you around, and that hasn't quite

(50:12):
happened yet. And the Lines are a team who probably
would try to do that. Yeah, you can't lose this game.
They're gonna be missing their starting corner, their best starting corner,
their tight end is out, their backup tight end is questionable.
They uh, and he loved throwing to his tight end.
Tom Kennedy is a guy who they throw the ball to. Now,

(50:32):
let's pull him off the practice squad and like, no
one's ever gonna cover him. They also, uh, their center
was gonna try to come back, but he failed the
physical so he can't come back. He was like a
really good player, And I'm on Ron Saint Brown is
a game time decision. I think they're just saying that
I don't think he's gonna play. It was a bad
ankle injury that he had. You kind of you're the
healthy team now, Like that's a very small injury report.

(50:55):
A report for a team who's playing their third game
in eleven days. We got the two guys are out
and one we don't care that he's out.

Speaker 1 (51:02):
In Trayvon Diggs, you know, you said something there, and
it's kind of weird to talk about this thing because
it's an intangible but I do think a big factor
in there coming together was how the team pulled together
around the kneel and death. Because there's things that happen
in teams journeys that you that are hard to account for,

(51:25):
and then people start looking around and believing in one
another differently, and it's an abstract thing and it's hard
to prove, and so you know, it's whatever, we're just
theorizing on something. But if you look at the timing
of all of it, them having the break, him passing,
and then adding to the team and then getting those
guys back, that's a lot of re energizing and feeling

(51:47):
differently about yourself collectively, and then looking around the room
and going, all right, we're gonna play for each other.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
We're gonna play for our fallen teammate for sure.

Speaker 1 (51:55):
And I think it helps when you're sixty million dollar
players having this type of season Dax's having.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
Yeah. I mean, he's third in the odds to win MVP.
I mean, and you know he has been.

Speaker 1 (52:07):
You know, he came he was a brunner up to
Lamar Jackson a couple of years ago, had the catastrophic injury,
you know, came back. He's got the huge contract, and
it would be real easy for him to just not
be as good and not care as much or whatever.
But dude, that guy is everything you want out of
your franchise quarterback.

Speaker 2 (52:25):
And I didn't think.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
You know, each quarterback who comes down the line is
gonna get more money, obviously, but I never thought that
that contract was going to look as good as it does.
I mean, he's worth every penny.

Speaker 7 (52:36):
Man.

Speaker 2 (52:37):
Tomorrow night's gonna be so fun. Can't wait, can't wait?

Speaker 6 (52:40):
Baby?

Speaker 3 (52:40):
All right?

Speaker 2 (52:40):
Coming up next in the weekly Weekday Update, where you
Gonna take us Kevin.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
Well, a lady in Royce City was trampled by some
geese yep, Ben in skin Show ninety one point one
the Eagle. Don't forget Friday doing the show three to
six at Pluckers in Addison. We would love to see
you there. That'll be the last chance you to win
back Omens tickets. Well one that comes and joins us
on Friday at Pluckers, We'll be there from three to six.

(53:05):
But right now it's time for this.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
Are you excited?

Speaker 5 (53:14):
Featuring veteran news anchor Katie fun tweets Christina Ray is
vindicated Here seventy two year old Royce City woman is
in a Dallas trauma center now after your familys is.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
A group of geese knocked her to the ground and
repeatedly pecked her while she was feeding ducks at City
Lake Park in Royce City. Pegged, pecked. Oh, that'd be
a different story. Why was she feeding the duck It
was part of her normal routine. Okay, she goes out
there and feeds them all the time. So she didn't
want to feed the geese too. No, these are geese.
That's a great point you made.

Speaker 4 (53:46):
Well, that's what I'm saying, like, if you're feeding the ducks,
feeding the okay, she was feeding the geese too.

Speaker 2 (53:52):
And then she went to aggressive. This is what you
don't feed the animals. What about ducks, though, you don't
feed the ducks either. Ducks ducks are cord God.

Speaker 4 (54:00):
I get so frustrated. I went to the park just
this weekend. There are signs everywhere. Do not feed the
ducks or the geese. There's signs because.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
They start attacking the food. That's what happened here.

Speaker 4 (54:10):
And then they started attacking you even if you don't
have food, because they're expecting you.

Speaker 2 (54:14):
To feed them. Do geese have sharp teeth? They're scary.
I'll tell you that. She fell, tried to get up
and flee, and the geese chased her down, trapped her
to the ground, and she was unable to move. She
has broken her pelvis. He's got internal bleeding. This this
is a bad story. How old was she seventy two? Yeah,
that's that factors. So, Kevin, why are you making so

(54:35):
many jokes about it? I haven't made too many jokes.
The jokes I would make about geese are about the
rock band that everyone's creaming over right now, and it's
like their new album's not that great. There's their last album,
three D Countries spectacular.

Speaker 1 (54:49):
I thought this story was that the band Geese was
playing Royce City, and now that I realized what the
story is, I'm sad about it.

Speaker 2 (54:55):
Yeah, then let's pivot to something more uplifting.

Speaker 1 (54:58):
Well, I do want to say this, speaking of Geese,
I went back and I've watched Top Gun Maverick again
for the thirty ninth time.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
Doesn't do it for me anymore?

Speaker 1 (55:07):
Oh no, yeah, abradatized to it just because they forced
that line talk to me Goose in it too many times. Yeah,
they did it twice, and it never should have happened.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
It was too pretticable.

Speaker 1 (55:17):
What if there was what if there was multiple ghosts?
And so he said talk to me Geese. He says,
Tom Cruise goes talk to me Goose when he's trying
to set some speed record. And then his son later,
who doesn't even know that any of that ever happened
or it was traditioned at all, goes talk to me Dad.
Oh no, oh man horrible. Yeah, yeah, we can't have that.

(55:38):
I'm not gonna watch Top Gun Maverick.

Speaker 7 (55:40):
Now.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
I was gonna watch it this weekend, but now that
I know there's the talk to me Dad part, I've
taken two outlets reporting on this one story where a
raccoon broke into a liquor store, got hammered and passed
out in the bathroom drunk. I've sped up the local
news so it sounds funny. Here's the local news report.

Speaker 7 (55:58):
Over the weekend, A rowdy raccoon broke into an ABC
store in Ashland, trashed bottle after bottle of liquor, and
then was found passed out drunk in the bathroom in
Maaggie Glass Espending in Ashland and I getting to the
bottom of what really happened with this boozy bandit and
Maggie from the pictures. I saw this raccoon not sipping
on the white clause it looked like he went after
the hard liquor.

Speaker 8 (56:14):
We wanted to dive deeper into the story, and our
investigation reveals this mass bandit.

Speaker 2 (56:17):
May not be a first time offender.

Speaker 8 (56:19):
This raccoon breaking into the store through the ceiling, damaging
the security system on his way. Virginia ABC telling us
there was around two hundred and fifty dollars worth of
spirits damaged. The raccoon ending up of all places, a
sleep next to the toilet and the employee bathroom I.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
Was just like, that is the funniest thing I've ever seen.
At least he got to the bathroom when he passed that.

Speaker 8 (56:33):
After a few hours of sobering up, he was alert
and unharmed, minus probably the worst hangover of his life.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
He was then released back into the wild.

Speaker 8 (56:39):
This animal very well, maybe a serial stealler. Neighboring business
Rise Marshall Art says they too have fallen victim to
a raccoon break in. It was up in the cross
face like in the ceiling, and it went through in
our break room and it got into all of our snacks.

Speaker 2 (56:48):
It was all over placed.

Speaker 8 (56:49):
I was sent a lot of messages from my coworkers
actually today saying what if it's the same raccoon? So
what do you think I would think?

Speaker 2 (56:54):
So you can't make it up.

Speaker 3 (56:55):
It happened.

Speaker 2 (56:56):
Okay, that was a good end. They handled it.

Speaker 1 (56:59):
Before we com on this, I would like to show
you actually the Associated Press handled this story.

Speaker 6 (57:04):
Broke into a close Virginia liquor store and drank alcohol
from the bottom shelves over the weekend. An animal control
officer says, the rack on Saturday passed out next to
the store's toilet. The officer says, The raccoon then sober
up after a few hours, official says, they release him
back into the wild.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
Is that the same woman that got attacked for the geese?

Speaker 7 (57:29):
No?

Speaker 2 (57:31):
No, that's so good, dude. I think I didn't get
the testimonials. I need the eyewitness accounts from the people.
So I appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (57:42):
I like, Okay, so there's a distinction, because I was
real curious about it. It sidetracked me. In the first story,
they went out of their way to say that the
raccoon shows the employee bathroom to pass it. I know,
which I felt like that distinction was unnecessary. Damn how
VP store AP just said the store bathroom. Yeah, just
make you think about You're like, okay, why did the
raccoon specifically choose the employee bathroom? I don't understand. And

(58:05):
AP one other way to point out that it was
next to a toilet. Yeah, and they went out of
their way to put some music behind it. Yeah, yeah,
which is a little strange.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
So there you go. Good job, Kevin, Yeah, well done, Kevin.
All right, there you have it.

Speaker 1 (58:18):
There's the weekly Weekday Update coming up next. It's a
segment we do ever once a while called. Can I
ask you a question? And the question is how up
to date is this particular show? We'll find out next
this Friday at the Pluckers and Addison. We'll do our
show live PM at Pluckers and Addison, and we'd love
to see you hang out with you, give you a
big hug and maybe squeeze your butt.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
Just don't know how it's going to go. Can't promise anything,
but right now it's step for this. Can I ask
you a question? Can we hijack another fifteen minutes of
your day or so? What is the ideal camping season?
How are you feeling about your team these days? You're
in your truck right now, aren't you? Are you doing
anything this weekend? How does the vinyl of the seat
feel it gets your scrout? What we're prototypes?

Speaker 1 (58:59):
Do you like?

Speaker 2 (58:59):
Little kid? What's the most important thing I should know
about you? You achieved greatness? What were your parents like?
What are you looking forward to? Were there more poisey
guys on the Cowboys than other teams? Are you a
bigger Cowboy fan or a never fan? Did I cause
you grief? Okay, so I have a question for you guys.
Shoot before I pose it, though, I would like for

(59:20):
you to have a pen and paper ready, right game,
I'm going to ask you a question in a second.
This question also, you're going to be thinking about yourself
and your showmates, because I have the top ten trending
topics on YouTube from the year twenty twenty five. So
I want you to write down, first, how many of
the top ten trending topics on YouTube and twenty twenty

(59:42):
five have you heard of? How many of ten? Oh,
we're guess be heard of?

Speaker 1 (59:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (59:47):
Okay, all right now. And the other column, I want
you to think about the two other people. So Ben
you would write down, for Christina and Skin a combined
out of twenty how many do you think they've heard of? Gotcha,
and we'll add up these numbers. Okay, Skin you would
do Ben and Christina. Christina you would do Ben and Scan.

(01:00:09):
How many of these trending topics have you heard of?
So okay, just check them off, one at a time
if you've heard of them. Okay, because these are the
top ten trending topics on YouTube in the year twenty
twenty five. Squid game, in fact, say check if you
if you have check check check roadblocks check. No, I

(01:00:33):
heard of it, but I don't know what it is.
But you've heard of it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
I have heard of it. I've heard my kids talking
about it. Yeah, I would say, check it if you've
heard of it? All right, No, you've not heard of robots?

Speaker 7 (01:00:42):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
Dang, So what is that for their column? For me,
it's just one of two.

Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:00:49):
Well we'll get her totals in at it later. Yeah,
k pop demon hunters? Check, heard of it? No, I've
heard of k pop but that's it. You haven't heard
the demon hunter aspect of K pop? No? Okay, brain
rot I'm an example of it, but I don't know it.
So you've heard of it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:10):
I know those two words, but if they're a thing,
one heard of that thing? Well, there's two words together,
which makes it a compound word. I'm saying. If that's
a thing, I haven't heard of that thing. You've never
heard of brain rot.

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
I've heard of.

Speaker 1 (01:01:20):
Brain and rot just used sure. I mean I can
understand the implication, but that's what I'm saying. If this
is some thing that exists out there, there's trending right No?

Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
No? No?

Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
Yeah, So none of you've heard of brain with No,
I don't really know what it is.

Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
I guess I don't understand the context, Like why would
people be searching brain rot? There must be something going
on with it that I'm unaware of.

Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
The well they're searching brain rot right for brain rot,
like your brain?

Speaker 1 (01:01:47):
Brain rots existed for decades? Why this year is what
number searched for? Okay, Charlie Kirk check yes, yes, Sorr
heard of Charlie Kirk love boo boo check yes think
thankfully because of that meeting we were in the.

Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
Only reason I agree.

Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
But then after that meeting, I saw it everywhere. It
was crazy because they brought it up on meeting out
of us. We need to have more more meetings where
they're telling us what's what's trendy? Yeah, Nintendo switch to check? Yes, No,
you never heard the Nintendo switch. I mean I know
the Nintendo Switch. I wasn't aware that there's a new
one out and that's trending.

Speaker 2 (01:02:23):
My basis plays it all the time. I feel like
that's a half check for Ben because he has heard
of the Nintendo switch. Half check half polish uh cookie
run Kingdom No what No? But I want to go there?
Yeah me neither? Okay, Next, is this is number nine
here blue lock, no no, nope, which is not a

(01:02:45):
blue waffle or a blue flame, thank you? And then
number ten cat's.

Speaker 5 (01:02:49):
Eye no no no.

Speaker 4 (01:02:53):
And after those last ones, I want to give myself
brain rot because I've actually like heard brain rot. Yeah,
the last ones you mentioned, I've never heard my Well.

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
Like, I've heard of brain rot, but not why people
would be searching it in twenty twenty five, Like it's
a compound word that exists, but why are people searching it?

Speaker 4 (01:03:08):
I do not know.

Speaker 1 (01:03:10):
So if you're asking me if I've ever heard of
brain rot, sure, but not to the point where people
you know.

Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
What it is, Okay, Okay, you don't need to know why.
Okay you know what it is? Okay, Okay. What are
your numbers here? Six? Six, seven?

Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:03:27):
I hate it more than Ben four? Four for Ben Ben,
Ben would be the more more trendy of all three
of you. I agree. So wait, Ben had four, I
had seven? Would you have kra six? Okay? What did
you have down for your other What did you think
the others would have? I had eight for them? Brote twelve?

Speaker 4 (01:03:48):
Oh, I wrote seventeen for you guys you had kids.
I was like, oh, Yeah, they've heard their kids say.

Speaker 2 (01:03:52):
All of these things. So Kat's Eye is a member
of a K pop groups.

Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
You've heard of, the K Pop Demon Hunters. I think
Ben just didn't know their name. You saw k Pop
Demon Hunters on Saturday Night Live, I don't know. They
performed and they were in a sketch with Bow and
Yang and they all came out.

Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
And it was like one of the top watch shows
on Netflix. Oh yeah. Blue Lock is a Japanese manga series. Okay,
I don't know what that is. It's a form of anime. Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
Cookie Run Kingdom sounds bad as some type of game
that appears to be some type of brain rock, Christina,
Cookie Run Kingdom. The cookies are kings and queens and uh,
I don't really understand it, but it's definitely a role
playing video game. Does it have the captain Queen of
the Push Them Together Club? Amanda Seafreed?

Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:04:46):
Uh no, the rest you guys all knew. Oh, christ
he didn't know Roadblocks. Can you guys explain Roadblocks to Christina?
I can't explain it. Yeah, I just have heard my
kids talking about it. It's like it's a game where
you build stuff. You know like Minecraft. It's like Minecraft,
but it's different. To make it all come full circle,
there's a roadblock game or experience called steal a brain rot.

(01:05:09):
Oh wow, brain rod is nothing more than just I'm sitting.

Speaker 1 (01:05:14):
There vegging out. Yes, yeah, riding your brain. Yeah, like
what TikTok does to.

Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
You is power washing brain rot eh. Yeah, yeah, it's
necessary when you get stains on the brick.

Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
You guys know l boo boo the Nintendo switch to
All right, so you guys knew most of them. Yeah,
it's pretty good. All right. I knew seven. Just to
stand I'm not ahead of the game here. No, I
knew eight. I knew cats. I was in K Pop
Demon Hunters. Yeah, how about that?

Speaker 5 (01:05:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:05:42):
All right, there you have it. There's Can I ask
you a question? How did you do at home or
in your car? Be sure to text in let the
general no. Two one seven eight seven one to oh
five three, say hey general, here's how I did, and
give the number coming up in just three minutes. It's
the Big Finish Variety's Bad List of the top one
hundred comedy movies of all time.

Speaker 2 (01:06:01):

But right now it's time for this and that's big,
really big mess, some gross to it, A bad list
that we're going to pick apart. Here guys, Variety put
out their top one hundred comedy movies of all time.
Let me just say in advance that I saw a

(01:07:30):
news story about a week ago about this. I've completely
forgot what was on it, but I remember being offended
by the top choice. They decided to put a bunch
of old movies in there, too, so I pick up
I run it through the gamut. Here ninety nine is
Wayne's World eighty eight's anchorman, so you kind of see
where they're going here. This is an old time Yeah, okay, Oh,

(01:07:51):
by the way of the Jerk ninety two, figured you
do it like that? I love the Jerk? Have you
seen that kt? I bet you, I bet you would
like it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:59):
I think it's one of those that me and Ben
will recommend you guys old movies, and you, guys, roll
your eyes and don't watch it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
I think you would really like The Jerk seventy three
Napoleon Dynamite.

Speaker 4 (01:08:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
If you're sitting there telling me Wayne's World and Anchorman
and Napoleon Dynamite are in there, that's good. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:08:15):
Okay, let me ask you guys, how would you rank
those three movies? Your personal preference ben Wayne's World, Anchorman,
Napoleon's Dynamite, Napoleon's Dynamite. I would say Anchorman is the best,
then Napoleon Dynamite.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
I think I would go in that order. What do
you guys think, go Napoleon Dynamite, Anchorman.

Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
Oh wow, I'd have Anchor, Wayne's World the Napoleon's Dynamite.

Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
I really do think over time, I prefer Napoleon's Dynamite
to Anchors. Man, I love them both, but if they're
just if they're both on, I think I'm gonna watch
Napoleon Dynamite.

Speaker 2 (01:08:52):
The Nine's A's Fincher, a pet detective out ahead of
all those out.

Speaker 3 (01:08:56):
Wow it is.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
It's good when you're twelve years old, though. It's a
great movie.

Speaker 1 (01:09:02):
No, okay, got ten solid minutes and this is where
I began, because they slid in at number sixty six.
Eddie Murphy Raw and I don't know that we can
be doing stand up specials. It wasn't a special, it
was a full movie. It was a full movie in
the theater. Raw was a theatrical release, as was Delirious. No,

(01:09:22):
Delirious was not, but Raw was. I feel like we're
still it doesn't matter what anything can be released in
the theater. I see what you're saying, Scrubs at the theater.
It feels like a different category. It's stand up comedy.
It's not a scripted movie.

Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
I got you. It's not a scripted movie.

Speaker 1 (01:09:38):
But if you were alive during the time, it was
a huge box office success in the theaters.

Speaker 2 (01:09:43):
Maybe that's what they're going off of box office success.
Airplane sixty two Okay, solid movie that was brought up
on yesterday show, Big Number sixty What.

Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
I mean, it's a good movie, but it's not better
than the comedies, like any of the ones that we
I mentioned. You know what, it's probably a better movie,
but it's not funnier. Fifty four is Elf.

Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
I would not have Elf over Anchorman, Wayne's World, Napoleon, Dynamite,
or Big for that.

Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
It is a good movie I saw yesterday on Social media.
The reason that they didn't make ELF two is because
Will Ferrell and John Favreau hated each other.

Speaker 2 (01:10:22):
Is that right?

Speaker 1 (01:10:23):
I saw that yesterday. I can't confirm it, that's true,
but Maya Ball saw it, okay. And so Favreau was
going out the door as Will Ferrell was coming in.

Speaker 3 (01:10:30):
Right.

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
How many seasons did they cross? If any?

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
Huh? Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:10:34):
Not Favreau. I was thinking of love it.

Speaker 1 (01:10:36):
It's my bad, okay, yep, screw oh cowboys, screw me.

Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Number fifty one Skin Being John Malcolvick.

Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
Again, probably the greatest movie of all time, but one
not you ahd of it on this list? Number fifty
The water Boy an artistic classic.

Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
The water Boy is great, but man, it is not
deserved to be on this list.

Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
And I'm telling you, Adam Sandler guy, well, it's great,
but it's not that good.

Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
I'm a Jerry Reid guy. It was great.

Speaker 1 (01:11:08):
What about when the Fonds pulls his pants down and
shows the Roy Orbison tattoo?

Speaker 2 (01:11:13):
Yeah, you don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:11:15):
I would love for you. You'll never watch it. I
would love for you to watch Being John Malkovic. And
then just so you can see the Chair Company influence
because it's overwhelming. Uh, missus doubtfire number forty four, Christina, Damn,
it's not even a top five Robin Williams movie.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
Zoolander forty which I don't like at all. I never
liked Zuelander. Zoolander's fun to quote, it's very fun to quote. Zuelander.
Was that the model one?

Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
Yes, yeah, there's some good parts to it, but it
doesn't deserve to be higher than those other movies. It's
in the Dodgeball realm. It's a movie that's out there.
That's fine. Yeah, but twice as good as Anchorman in
Napoleon's Dynamite. No, it's definitely not number thirty eight. The
hardest I've ever left in the theater, The Nutty Professor.

Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
But it's the.

Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
Original one, Ohry Lewis, So I don't know, you know, yeah,
thirty five School of Rock, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:12:07):
It's good.

Speaker 1 (01:12:07):
It's I don't know that it's a belly laughing comedy
as much as it's a sweet movie. Probably better to me,
better than maybe all the movies have mentioned, but not funnier.
I think even the way Ben just said it, that's
what big is. Yeah, like big in School of Rock
are kind of in the same realm. They're sweet movies.
They're sentimental, they're well made, and they have some funny parts,

(01:12:28):
but they're not fall down comedies. Is there a category
kind of cause it's kind of like rom com, but
it's like a family calm famcom. It's a fam commam coom.
You know, whole family watched it. Oh that was sweet,
nothing edgy. I'm gonna start a convention called fam Con
and you just come. You know, all the great families
right there. You can get autographs.

Speaker 2 (01:12:47):
Thirty Austin Powers. Yes, all right, it's good. It's good.

Speaker 1 (01:12:50):
Still not better than all those twenty eight Richard Pryor
Live in Concert. I was gonna say Live at the
Sun's or Live at the sunset strip.

Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
I don't know. It just says live a concert. No,
it's incredible set strip.

Speaker 3 (01:13:01):
Is it a movie?

Speaker 2 (01:13:01):
Here's a stand ups. It's a movie.

Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
And it was in the theaters and it was after
he set himself on fire freebasing cocaine. Wow, it's incredible. Yeah,
I don't think it should be on this list either.

Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
Twenty six Borat Yes, yes, spectacular.

Speaker 1 (01:13:16):
If you told me that was the top ten comedy
of all time, I wouldn't argue with yeah, twenty four Bridesmaids.

Speaker 2 (01:13:22):
I mean, it's good, but it's not better than all again.
It's just it deserves to be on the list.

Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
Like in the nineties, I think it recently, Yeah, it's
good right behind forgetting Sarah Marshall. It could have been
left out of the top one hundred, twenty two's Caddyshack.
Higher all right, twenty super bad, great movie, it's awesome,
so we're doing.

Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
It spinal tap at eighteen Let's Go. I was wondering
where Monty Python was just waiting for it. That's maybe
a little too high for it. That takes us to
the top ten, where we have groundhog Day. That's a
phenomenal movie. It's a good movie. But is it funny? Yes,
it's funny as hell? Is it the Is it funnier
some of those we've mentioned now? No, But it's a

(01:14:02):
great army. It deserves to be on the big list.

Speaker 1 (01:14:05):
Nine Young Frankenstein hilarious, barely remember it you die laugh
and seeing it again.

Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
It is Fargo, which is good but rarely funny. To me, Wow,
I did not think Fargo was that funny. I agree.

Speaker 1 (01:14:19):
The only movie that I would definitely classify as a
straight up comedy from the Coen Brothers is Raising Arizona.
But there's a lot of funny minutes, funny moments in Fargo.
But to me, it's more of a drama. That's like
the chef thing being on the comedy Yeah like why yeah?
Seven is duck Soup Little Groucho Marx, I don't know it.

(01:14:41):
Number six Money, Python and the Holy Girl. Yes, that's
a good place on this list.

Speaker 2 (01:14:45):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (01:14:45):
Number five waiting for Guffman. Too high, Yeah, too high.
It should not it should not be higher than spinal
tap Er.

Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
Best in show. Number four The Great Dictator. Uh that
is Charlie Chaplin. Jeez, why he's doing Hitler? Is it funny?
I mean, if you like silent movies and you think
Charlie Chaplin's a genius, which he is? Off my list? Yeah,
Variety's list sucks. Number three Annie Hall, it's great. I
prefer hilarious, though you broke a rib. I prefer Manhattan.

(01:15:15):
But it's great. I mean. So they're supporting Woody Allen
as we all should, for his comedic sensibilities and what
he's done to further comedy writing. Number two. Some like
it hot, little Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemon Were you
struggling to breathe because you were laughing so hard?

Speaker 3 (01:15:37):
On he saw.

Speaker 1 (01:15:39):
There's a lot of pressure on them to save their
terrible list here, but I have a feeling this will
be awful.

Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
You're not gonna like it. Our guess is for number one.
I can't remember where was Tutsy on the list. It
was up there somewhere. I shouldn't mention it. Tutsy's one
of the old time great twelve Yeah, it's what it
should be there. What are we missing? Madison?

Speaker 7 (01:15:59):
I know, and I.

Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
Remember it's a movie that's a more modern movie. But
you're like, wait, what is that an eighties movie?

Speaker 2 (01:16:09):
The Naked Gun? Number one? Yeah? Is it just because
they redid it recently?

Speaker 1 (01:16:14):
And I don't know it's the original? It shouldn't be
higher than Airplane. I gotch The Naked Gun the original
like within the last three months, and it was funnier
than I remember. But yo, it is not a top
twenty comedy of all time.

Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
Badless variety and that there's a variety of other websites
you can go to.

Speaker 4 (01:16:34):
Again.

Speaker 1 (01:16:35):
And that's exactly what Kat said when he looked the
geese dead in the eye after feeding them, and he said,
you suck on my toe and they took him up
on it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:46):
Christina, you gonna stick around before the MAVs game for
an hour? All right? Hang out with Kray before MAVs heat,
right here on the eagle. There you going, well, so
I'm gonna get some cheeks after this horse college run.
