(00:22):
coming up next. A local institution is closing, and maybe
we'll get into some U and T talk as well.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
But right now, it's time for this cowboy.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Surprise. All right, here we go Cowboys lines tonight in Detroit.
It's seven fifteen, it's Amazon Prime. You'll get al Michaels

(00:54):
and you will get Herbie. These guys have no chemistry,
so don't worry about them too much. Weird, it's almost
like they hate each other. Okay, so the Cowboys need
to win. Here's what happens if the Cowboys win. If
the Cowboys win, they what you need to know right now,
They currently have a twenty three percent chance to make
the playoffs. If they win, they jump to a forty
one percent chance to make the playoffs. If they lose,

(01:14):
they jump down to a nine percent chance to make
the player romo, Yeah, a romo. Now, if they won
the four games after, if they lost tonight and won
the next four games, they would be back to a
forty one percent chance, So they could still get close.
But they need it really badly and the lines are good,
but the lines are not good right now.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
They're hurt.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
They've had a couple losses to the Packers and the Eagles,
but again good teams. So I think tonight it's going
to be close, and I think it's gonna be fun,
and it would be high scoring.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
I am ready to have fun.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
And that's the way I'm looking at the NFL now,
and honestly that's why I'm looking at the MAVs right
now as well. Just have fun, man, you know, I
want to believe. I want to believe that this boat
is real, and it feels like it is. When you
get down twenty one to the Eagles and still win
that game, you beat the Chiefs, I mean, you beat
both teams in the Super Bowl within a five day stretch,

(02:08):
You're for real. And Dak is one of the best
players in all of football. An MVP candidate, He's a
top three MVP candidate. Your passing game is unstoppable in GP.
You've got a great tight end, you've got a great
running back, your offensive line's playing really well, you've got
a creative play caller, and you know your offense is
sitting on all cylinders.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
The only question was can this defense do anything?

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Quinn Williams has been amazing, and you add him in
with the two good defensive tackles you already had, you
get over shown back healthy.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Is Trayvon Diggs playing? Also, he's out tonight, All right,
he's out.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I still don't know what to expect from him. But regardless,
you've had a lot of reinforcements and new bodies come
in and suddenly your defense doesn't suck.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
But Treylon Diggs is practicing though.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
They just I think right now because Savone ravel it's
a tough name to say, Savone Raveil, their third round
pick has been good and he's playing.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Not gonna go too deep here on this his whole
life just.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Man corner man on man one on one press coverage corner.
And there's a lot to be said about how he's
like through all this is like a good classroom guy too,
because he's learning, like how to play zone for the
first time in his life.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Never played in college or high school really and not much.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
You know, a little bit here and there, there's a
certain place and uh, you know, they're kunt on him
to do a lot of that now and he's doing that.
And he's been playing like his knees holding up better
than people thought it would. And that's why Trevon Dicks
can't get on the field right now because right now
Carson has been fine.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah, I heard talking about him. He's really stepped up.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
I do think they will need Trevon Dicks at some
point one of those guys goes down.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
You're you're out of names, But this is line, this
could be it, and this is such a I wanted
them to tank. I thought they were gonna have one
of the top five picks in the league. They did
have the worst defense for so so long. You know,
Jerry shot them in the foot sabotaged their season by
trading Micah right for it starts. But I'll be damned.
The Quinn Williams trade changes everything. Overshown being back healthy

(04:11):
changes everything, and suddenly you have a decent defense. I
don't know who stops the Cowboys. How do you stop them?
If your quarterback and two receivers and tied end and
running back and offensive line and play calling are that good,
how do you stop them?

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Cowboys? Defense just has to be about average.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yes, And there's the only thing I worry about tonight. Well,
there's two things. And this is not even gonna worry.
This is more of just like no one's done it yet.
The Lions are gonna try to run the ball. Dan
Campbell wants to run it. He's a big wrestling guy.
He wants to go in and there and do is
We're just gonna s sumo you out, like we're gonna
physical you.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Are big guys. Are gonna be beefier than your big guys.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
And that might be a bad plan, But no one's
tried to do it yet since the quent and Williams trade,
probably because they're like, they have Quinn Williams, so we
shouldn't do that. I think that's the other thing. The
Lions have a statue at quarterback, which we've had Mahme
and Jalen Hurts running around. We've got a statue now
which means target, but he gets rid of the ball
and he lights up the middle of the field. So

(05:08):
Jamison Williams getting behind our linebackers and in front of
our safeties bothers me. Because if you are going to
say what's the weak point of the Cowboys, you go Jesus.
The linebackers and the safeties are not good, and we
know that having them better are is much better than
having the backups. But tonight might be your Logan Wilson
Kenneth Murray game like, which one of those guys takes

(05:29):
that job?

Speaker 4 (05:30):
We need someone to do it, Yeah, because.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
They have to be on the field at points in
the game and it's very frustrating. That's the parts that
bother me. Lines are got a lot of no names
catching passes for them right now? Yeah, there's a really
good chance for the Cowboys to win the game.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
The Cowboys have so much freaking momentum. Can they capitalize?
Is this real? Or does it all come crashing down?

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:51):
It's gonna be fun to watch.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Are you ready?

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Here's my pick to click? Cowboys thirty four Lions twenty seven.
Whoa I wrote down thirty three to twenty seven Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
O my god, love it, Ben, let's go. I'm gonna go. Wait,
what'd you say.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
Thirty four to twenty seven?

Speaker 2 (06:05):
And what she say?

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Thirty three twenty seven?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I'm gonna say thirty two twenty nine.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Okay, that's the three point spread. Yeah, yeah, you're trust
in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah, thank you. I'm a Vegas guy. All Right.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
There you have it. There's cussing the Cowboys. Good luck
to Jerry and the boys. Coming up next, it's a
weekly weekday update. A local institution is closing. We might
talk a little bit u in T football. All that's
coming up next

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
