Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travis and buck
Sexton Show podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Welcome in Friday edition Clay Travis buck Sexton Show. Appreciate
all of you hanging out with us. Buck out with
his lovely wife Carrie on vacation. He will be back
on Monday with me. But in the meantime, we got
three hours of fun rolling your way to take you
(00:25):
into the weekend. A lot to discuss. Let me give
you a little bit of a rundown of where we're headed.
Betsy de Vos is going to join us at one
thirty to talk these ridiculous and absurd new Title nine
regulations that have been propounded by the Biden administration that
would effectively endorse the idea that what matters is not
(00:48):
your actual gender, but your gender identity. It's a direct
attack on women's sports. We've been expecting it for a while.
We will talk about that with her at two point thirty.
From the Daily Wire, Matt Walsh. Many of you know
him from the great movie that he made, What Is
a Woman? He also does good rourk at the Daily Wire,
variety of different aspects there. He will join us at
(01:11):
two thirty to roll into the weekend. All of that
a lot of fun. We've got several different stories that
we will be covering. The NPR head this new crazy
woman previously rigged Wikipedia. I want to make sure that
you guys hear the audio so you know the impact
that she's going to have in her new job. I
can't believe this is real, but it's a perfect Friday story.
(01:35):
Joe Biden claimed that his uncle was eaten by cannibals.
I've been not making this up. This really happened. The
White House now says he died in a plane crash. Instead,
we will discuss that Biden tried to go to a
gas station in Pennsylvania, and now they are running ads
to let you know that Joe Biden, he's not a
(01:57):
dementia riddled an adult imbecile. He's actually very very sharp.
We will play that for you. Plus my buddy Stephen A.
Smith continues to tee off on Joe Biden and make
the case for why Donald Trump is continuing to grow
his support, particularly among minority voters. We will discuss all
(02:18):
that and more, but I wanted to start with all
of you. This caught me by surprise yesterday when we
finished the show, there had been two jurors removed from
the Trump jury, and I said that it felt like
things were spiraling out of control there. Then after we
got off the air, they had a rapid level of
(02:39):
success and they managed to seat all of the new
jur jury here. So we now have I believe the
number is twelve jurors seated one alternate in the Trump
criminal trial. They are on track, they say, to start
this trial on Monday. Court is taking place to they
(03:00):
are trying to get more alternate seated, up to six
total alternates. But those alternate jurors would be in the
courtroom and they would be watching, but they would only
have a say in the outcome of the case if
other jurors, that is, the twelve initially seated jurors were
(03:21):
forced out. And we now have pretty good biographical descriptions
of all of the jurors in this case, and I
wanted to walk through them with you, as Buck and
I did when there were seven seeded. A big part
of how a case is going to go, particularly one
like this where we know there is a rigged jury
(03:42):
that is likely to be very much in favor of
Alvin Bragg. The state of New York and opposed to
Donald Trump. I want to run through what we know
about the twelve jurors that have been seated at this
point in time, and I'm reading from the New York Times.
Jur Number one works in sales, lives in West Harlem.
(04:03):
This is our Irish buddy. Uh. He said. He enjoys
outdoor activities, gets his news from the New York Times,
watches Fox News and MSNBC, which I'm sorry, sounds like
you're lying to me if you say you watch Fox
News and MSNBC. Unless you're me or Buck and your
(04:24):
job is to analyze the media. I don't think there
are actually very many people who watch both of those.
He said He's heard about some of former President Donald
Trump's other criminal cases, but didn't have an opinion about him.
Juror one's going to vote to convict. Okay, just based
on this biographical sketch, Irish guy who lives in Harlem
(04:47):
claims that he gets his news from Fox News and MSNBC.
I'm sorry, this guy hates Trump. He's going to vote
to convict. This is my analysis. By the way, people
out there go say, Blake Travis told you exactly what
all the juries are gonna germ members are gonna do
he's jury tampering again. Put him in handcuffs, put him
(05:10):
in prison. So far, I've not been arrested. Trust me,
you'll know if I am arrested. This is my opinion
analyzing based on the biographical information provided by the New
York Times, which is where I'm reading this from. Jur
two works in finance, lives in Hell's kitchen. He said
he likes hiking, music concerts and enjoying New York City.
(05:33):
He said he follows mister Trump's former fixer Michael Cohen
on social media, but he also said he follows figures
like Kelly Ann Conway. He said he believed mister Trump
had done some good for the country, adding it goes
both ways. I'm sorry if you follow Michael Cohen on
(05:57):
Twitter you hate Trump. This guy is not voting that
Trump is not guilty. I'm sorry you follow Michael Cohen.
That should be a strike to me. This feels like
the first two guys here are definitely likely to vote
(06:18):
that Trump is guilty. Jur three, works in the legal field,
lives in Chelsea. Said he doesn't follow the news, but
when he does, he reads the New York Times, the
Wall Street Journal, and finds articles using Google. He said
he was not very familiar with mister Trump's other criminal cases. Again,
(06:40):
this is a guilty verdict. I think we got three
bad jurors for Trump so far. Jur four engineer from
the Upper West Side, asked how he was during jury selection.
He responded, I'm freezing. When a warrior asked if he
had strong feelings about mister Trump, he responded, no, not really.
(07:03):
Now evidently the courtroom has really been cold. So that's
kind of a funny answer as you kind of break
down here. But I don't buy into the idea that
anybody sitting in a jury pool in Manhattan doesn't have
strong feelings about Trump. When you say no, not really,
(07:23):
it feels to me like you're covering things up. Jur
five works in education and is from Harlem. She said
she tries to avoid political conversations, doesn't care for news.
She said she appreciates mister Trump's candor. President Trump speaks
his mind. I would rather that in a person than
(07:45):
someone who's in office and you don't know what they're
doing behind the scenes. Black woman in education from Harlem.
She is not voting, not guilty. I'm sorry. Ur six
works in technology, lives in Chelsea, gets her news from
the New York Times, Google, Facebook, and TikTok. Oh God.
(08:08):
She said she probably has different beliefs than mister Trump,
but quote, this is a free country. I you know,
young woman gets her information from TikTok, disagrees with Trump,
but believes it's a free country, lives in Chelsea. I
think we're oh for six guys, first six jurors. I
(08:29):
think we are oh for six. Now let me bring
in producer ally who didn't know I was going to
pull her up here. But you live in New York City,
You've lived in New York City for a long time.
Is there anything in these first six jurors biographical details
that you think I'm missing or as they are being
(08:51):
described and as I am reading them to you from
the New York Times, are you with me that this
does not sound like a very favorable jury pool to Trump.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Absolutely not, And having just done jury duty myself like
two months ago, I don't have a good feeling about
this at all.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
No, And there's nothing that is from these first six
jurors that, as someone living in New York City would
make you think for a moment just based on the
neighborhoods or any of these descriptions, Oh, that could be favorable. No,
absolutely not. Okay, this is not good. All right, So
that's the first six. I'm going to hit you the
next six in a minute here. But I want to
tell you a story too. Ali just said she had
(09:31):
done jury duty recently. I do think there's a significant
factor here that I'm going to discuss in a little bit.
It is there are two lawyers that have been seated
on this jury pool and they weren't stricken. You have
the ability, as the defense or the prosecution to just
strike jurors that you think are going to be uniquely
(09:53):
disfavorable to you. And I have been on jury duty
only once in mon life. I've only been called once
and it was a mall Santa dispute. Guy was a
mall Santa and somehow he had gotten into a contract dispute.
I mean, he legitimately looked like Santa Claus sitting at
(10:16):
the plainiff table he was suing. I think it was
a mall over a contract dispute when he was playing
Santa Claus in the mall, Sorry, when he was This
was not the real Santa Claus. For the kids out
there that are in the car, Santa Claus was not
on trial, not the real Santa Claus. This was a
pretend Santa Claus, and so pretend Santa Claus is there.
(10:39):
And I actually got seated in the jury in the
jury seating area. I was going to be on this jury.
And then by mutual agreement, the plaintiff and defense lawyer
recognized me because at the time I was doing sports
talk radio and they both said they liked to listenstening
(11:00):
to the radio show. So by mutual agreement, they were
going to allow me to not have to serve on
the jury so they could listen to me talk about sports.
This is all one hundred percentury. That's the only time
I've ever been called and actually been into a courtroom.
I thought I would get knocked and taken off because
(11:20):
I am a lawyer. They didn't do that. They took
me off because I happened to do radio. It's very strange,
I would say, incredibly rare. When I come back, I'm
going to go through the other six jurors. This almost
never happens that you would have two lawyers sitting on
(11:41):
a trial usually they get knocked off. This trial super fascinating,
big gamble, I would say from both sides to allow
this guy to continue. And so I think this is very,
very interesting to contemplate. We'll talk about that in a moment,
(12:01):
but I want to tell you in the meantime, my
oldest son's out of town right now. He's away on
a school event until Tuesday. I just texted him when
I set down to start this show to check in
and see how his trip is going. So far, I've
been texting him. I was flying back from Seattle late
last night. I was texting him because he was on
(12:22):
the road. He was at the hotel. I trust Pure
Talk to stay in touch with my family. They are
absolutely phenomenal when it comes to allowing you to be
able to have great interaction with your family, and they
also save you a bundle in the process. For just
twenty bucks a month, you get unlimited talk text, plenty
of five G data, same quality of service as AT
(12:44):
and T, Verizon or T Mobile, but for half the cost.
My family relies on Pure Talk service. Average sized family
can save one thousand dollars a year. What could that
mean for you at the end of the year, when
you're getting all those Christmas presents ready, when you're getting
for getting ready for New Year, trying to take care
of the family budget. Puretalk can make a big difference
for you. Plus, they're located here in America. They respect
(13:06):
your values, and they can save you a bundle. Dial
pound two point fifty. Say the keywords Clay and Buck
to make the switch today you could be like me
and let you and your family stay in touch through puretalk.
That's pound two five zero. Say the keywords Clay and
Buck one more time, Pound two five zero say Clay
(13:27):
and Buck, inspiring.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
You to seek out the truth the Clay Travis said
Buck Sexton show all right.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
Rolling through the jury that the first six I said
is not good. I'm struggling to find any positivity here.
You're seven, works in the legal field, lives on the
Upper east Side. He said he's aware of mister Trump's
other cases, doesn't have an opinion about his character. Said
he had political views on the Trump presidency, agreeing with
(13:56):
some policies and disagreeing with others. Again, not a big
not a big fan of jury number seven either. And
I think the extent that I'm talking about the fact
that there are two lawyers on this case. If you're
a lawyer in New York City, I think the political
pressure on you to vote to convict is going to
(14:18):
be off the charts because there are very few lawyers
who work in law firms that would even represent Trump.
His defense attorney had to leave a big law firm
because they were so angry at the fact that he
was willing to represent Trump. This is a big issue
in the law that doesn't get a lot of attention.
(14:41):
How woke law firms have become is off the charts.
Their diversity quotas in terms of the lawyers who represent
companies now you don't hear a lot of discussion about this.
A lot of law firms require diverse represent now and
(15:01):
or the clients require it. They don't require the best
lawyer anymore. They want there to be twenty percent minority,
thirty five percent female representation. It's crazy. As somebody who
worked in a law firm and as someone who employs lawyers,
I don't care about anything other than are you the
best the legal representation that I can afford. It's crazy.
(15:23):
Dur eight Upper East Side, worked in finance, said he
reads the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and watches
CNBC and the BBC. He enjoys fly fishing, skiing, and yoga.
During jury selection, he said he had no opinions or
beliefs that would prevent him from being impartial. Ali, you're
(15:45):
the yogay. Do you think that anybody that you work
out with in doing yoga in Manhattan other than you
would be willing to vote not guilty for Trump on
a criminal trial.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
Ooh, that's a tough one, Clay.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Is it hot yoga? Does the yoga matter? If you
think hot yoga or is cold yoga is more likely
to be favorable than Trump. I don't think it's looking
good yoga. Like there are a few hobbies that I
see and I say, you are not going to be
a Trump person. Yoga is one of them. And I
know I'm gonna get deluge from all the yoga people
(16:22):
who are big Trump people. Now you're in a substantial minority,
especially if you're in New York City.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Okay, Yeah, there's New York yoga, and then there's yoga
and other.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Places that I wouldn't say the same. Yeah, like Birmingham,
Alabama yoga might be different than New York City. Yoga,
but we're talking about New York City yoga right now.
Jurre nine works in education from the Upper East Side.
She said of Trump, he was our president. Everybody knows
who he is, adding that when he was in office,
(16:52):
everyone was kind of talking about politics. Yeah, that's a guilty.
I mean, this is not a good jury. Businessman who
lives in Murray Hill. Ali, where's murray Hill? What does
that tell us?
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Actually, that's not far from me in the East village.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Okay said he doesn't follow the news, adding, if anything,
it's the New York Times. Said he likes listening to
podcasts on behavioral psychology, adding it's my hobby. Said he
does not have a strong opinion on Trump. All right,
those are the first ten. I'm not feeling good about
any of them. I felt good yesterday a little bit.
(17:32):
Not anywhere near very optimistic right now. I would love
to hear from Trump's defense attorney if he's optimistic about
any of these guys, honestly or gals. But we will
break down the rest of this jury when we come
back officially seated, could start hearing evidence on Monday. Hugely
(17:52):
important jury, the biggest and most important jury since the
oj Simpson trial, and I wish I knew that some
of the that signed up for Chalk, because then I
would say, hey, you know what, Maybe they listened to
Clay and Buck. Maybe they're worried about having more testosterone
in their life. Maybe they're willing to stand up to
all the wooses out there who were trying to rig
(18:14):
our election. Maybe they love American democracy and want to
stand for a Republic of justice. But I don't know
that any of them have high testosterone. I don't know
that any of them take chalk, but boy, oh boy,
I wish they did. You should go check it out
choq dot com. In the space of just three months,
you can increase your overall testosterone by twenty percent. Did
(18:37):
you know that right now you have half the testosterone
of your grandfather or your great grandfather in that forever.
Get signed up today, fight for truth and justice with
testosterone at chalkchoq dot com. My name Clay Betsy DeVos,
former Education secretary under Donald Trump. New Title nine rules
coming out. I want to make sure that you guys
(18:58):
all understand them well. And I figured there's nobody better
to explain where we are and how things are changing
than Betsy Devas, so thank you for joining us. I
know you fought battles over this a great deal in
the Trump administration. But for people out there who were
kind of following this, what are the changes that Biden
(19:19):
is trying to put in place? What is he trying
to undo that you fought to change, and what.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
Is the latest sure Clay Well, first of all, thanks
for having me and great to be with you. So
the Title nine Rule, as we all know, it was
passed more than fifty years ago to give women specifically
equal access to education opportunities, and over the years most
women have commonly known those to be associated with sports
(19:46):
as well. During our administration, we did a rules process
and came out with a rule that has the force
of law that really brought fairness and evenness, predictability, and
justice to what had happened during the Obama administration because
of a move they made to essentially create kangaroo courts
(20:09):
on campus. Yes, an individual would be let you know,
charge with something and one person would start from an
investigation to doing the whole process to to you know,
be the detective, the prosecutor, the judge, the jury, and
the executioner. This rule that the Biden administration has just
(20:31):
come out with again goes back to that model. It's
one of the most outrageous parts of the of the rule,
but it also is only a part of it. They
have taken dramatic steps further to the left on every
part of this rule.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Okay, And for people out there who may not be
familiar with this, the kangaroo courts that you're referencing, a
woman could accuse a student co ed, a woman could
cure he was a male of sexual assaults. Sometimes they
weren't even allowed to cross examine. And they would have
these Title nine investigations, and they were kicking a lot
of boys out of school, and there was no real
(21:12):
ability to actually determine whether or not there was any
improper conduct there. You guys tried to at least put
the breaking news. On sevent ten, wor.
Speaker 4 (21:24):
Jeff McKinney in from the WR newsroom with some extraordinary news.
Apparently we have a case of self immolation outside the
courthouse where the Donald Trump trial is underway. A man
set himself on fire just a couple of moments ago
outside the courthouse. There's a park in sanity there right
outside the entrance courthouse. The man set himself on fire.
(21:47):
At last viewing, the fire was burning the man in
the middle of that blaze. Precisely why he did that
is unknown. We can only assume it's related to the
Donald Trump trial, the hush money tr It's underway in
the courthouse there, so we're following that jury selection is
now complete. They selected all the alternates. UH. The latest
(22:09):
news though, is tragic. This man is setting himself ablaze
outside the courthouse where Donald Trump's hushmary trial is underway.
So with that sobering news, we send it back now to.
Speaker 5 (22:22):
Clan bookstration has put out is really at its base
anti women. It really is the first time that the
Title nine law, meant to help help encourage and give
opportunities to women, is actually going to be used to harm,
not help women. And that goes to all of the
(22:44):
UH sports related issues, and they're, you know, they're they're
radically rewriting a half century of protections and opportunities for
women and replacing them with radical gender theory only to
appease Biden's far La space.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Okay, and for people out there who that sounds confusing too,
let me see if I can sum it up and
you explain if I'm basically getting it. Title nine was
initially created to provide equal opportunity to women in sports,
and so a university out there that is giving let's say,
one hundred and fifty scholarships to men, would also need
(23:21):
to give one hundred and fifty scholarships to women. Basically,
it's peg to the overall enrollment of the university to
allow women's athletes to be able to be treated in
a similar fashion from a scholarship perspective to men. My
understanding is that what the Biden administration is now doing
is saying Title nine also encompasses gender ideology. That is,
(23:44):
if you are a man pretending to be a woman,
you should be considered based on your gender identity to
also be a woman. Is that part of what they
are doing now in terms of the way that they
are applying Title nine.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
Yes, absolutely correct. It will require boys to be allowed
in girls' bathrooms, locker rooms, and private spaces starting as
early as elementary school. It will make it a violation
of federal civil rights law to call someone the wrong pronoun.
It puts women's safety, privacy, and competitive opportunities at total
(24:22):
risk in sports and We've seen it happening on team
after team across the country. Now the Biden folks will
claim this isn't the case, but that is exactly what
they are putting into this rule, which will become the
force of law and must be stopped. But that is
exactly what will happen. They're trying to be cute and
(24:44):
call it something different, but you read the text and
that is exactly the bottom line of what will be
the case.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
So let me just I mean, this is crazy, I
think for a lot of people out there. So this
would mean that the Biden administration is trying to protect
a man who identifies as a woman from being able
even if he still has full male genitalia, to go
into a women's locker room, because he is claiming that
(25:13):
he is a woman.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Correct, That's exactly what it does. I mean, this is bonkers, Yes,
yes it is.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
It is.
Speaker 5 (25:24):
It is totally pandering to the far left wing of
their party base, and it is an election year ploy.
It's a regulation, a rule that must be stopped either
by Congress or in the courts. But it is it is,
you know, truly a something that nobody really needed, no
(25:48):
nobody needed, and very few people wanted it. Hits been
demanded by the far far left wing of the Democrat Party,
and Biden made it clear from the get go that
he was going to have that direction as soon as
he took office.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
You may have seen the video, and we're talking to
Betsy de Vos, former Education secretary of Donald Trump. You
may have seen the video of Dawn Staley, South Carolina
women's basketball coach, saying that she believed effectively this far
left wing ideology, which is that if a man decides
to identify as a woman, that she believed that man
(26:25):
should be eligible to play women's college basketball. That cliff
went viral.
Speaker 5 (26:31):
It is inconceivable to me that anyone involved in women's
sports would hold that view. We know that the vast
majority of people see it otherwise, and I think that
will be soon made clear. You know by Congress. Congress
has an opportunity to use the Congressional Review Act authority
(26:53):
to stop the rule. I hope they will do so quickly.
You know, the rule we put in place during the
last administration was serving students well, and it was based
on what the Title nine law actually requires. This administration
has taken a law and stretched it to the uttermost
ends of incredulity, to make up new definitions for sex
(27:20):
as gender identity, and to inject all of this radical
gender theory into a law that has, over the years,
meant more opportunities for women. This, like I said, is
the most shockingly anti woman move that I think could
(27:40):
have been made.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
How many women understand this in your experience? Because I
get fired up about this from just a you know,
I came out of the world of sports, so the
idea that a man should be able to compete against
a woman in women's sports is completely crazy to me,
in the same way that when I coach twelve year
old little league, the idea that a sixteen year old
should be able to play again to my kids is crazy.
(28:03):
How many women really understand this? Because I think women
are being taken advantage of, And I keep waiting Bessy
for the Feminist for the title nine activists, for them
to be willing to stand up and say the ultimate
male privilege, since that's something that everybody wants to focus on,
is a man saying that he's a woman and requiring
that everybody treat it as the truth, even though we
(28:25):
all know it's a falsehood. Where are all these women
that claim to care so much about actual women?
Speaker 5 (28:32):
Well, I think they're all out there. I think many
of them are afraid to speak up. But we're hearing
from more of them as they've actually experienced having to
compete in different venues today. And I think, you know,
if this is not immediately turned back, I think we're
going to hear from more increasing numbers because it's becoming
(28:53):
increasingly common, and more women are going to quickly realize
that even though it might sound like it's good and fair,
in reality, it is not fair for a woman to
have to compete against a biological male and have the
same expectations from each of them.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
If people are fired up about this, and I've got
the sense that a lot of our listeners will be,
and we're talking to Betsy de Boss, former Education secretary,
and the Trump administration. What should they do? What should
women and men out there who are hearing about this
for the first time listening on the radio right now?
What should they do? What would you encourage them to
do to take action against this?
Speaker 5 (29:34):
I encourage them to contact, get a word into your
members of Congress, your congressmen, your senators, and urge them
to use their congressional authority to implement the Congressional Review
Act to put a stop to this rule. This is
going to be an important issue going into this fall's elections,
(29:54):
and it's going to be a tough question for people
like Senator John Tester and Bob Casey and Shared Brown,
all in seats that are at high risk For the Democrats,
I'd like to see them come out and defend this
rule and the implementation of this rule and be able
to justify it in a way that their voters are
(30:16):
going to embrace. It's not going to happen. More and
more people are going to become aware of exact what
the exact implications of this are. And you know, this
is a eighty probably a ninety percent issue in the
minds of American people. The American people, the very few
people who support this notion of you know, biological males
(30:40):
being able to have full access to women's sports locker
rooms and other private spaces just because they've decided that
they are a woman. It's not it cannot stand. I
also want to say that for those individuals for whom
this is really an issue, there is a way, and
(31:01):
let's be talking about that those who are trying to
defend this but do not destroy women's sports, and do not,
you know, put to an end the absolute intent, original
intent of Title nine by implementing what the Biden administration
is trying to do.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
Here and quickly. Shouldn't Joe Biden himself have to explain
what he believes here? I don't think he's ever been
asked directly. I've never seen it. Do you think a
man should be able to identify as a woman and
compete in women's athletics? That's a very simple question. I've
never seen anybody ask him that question. Don't you think
he should have to directly answer it himself?
Speaker 5 (31:40):
Absolutely he should. Absolutely he should. I'd like to hear
his answer and like to hear his justification.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Thank you so much, Betsy de vous You're doing great work.
We appreciate you taking the time to help clear up
what is a messy situation that many people out there
just can't believe is real.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
Well, thanks so much, Clay and I appreciate airing the
issue and having the discussion about it.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
No doubt we're going to keep at it. Thank You's
Betsy de Vos, former Education secretary in the Trump administration.
And actually this ties in with why I was just
out in Seattle. I landed back in Nashville. Hello to
all of you watching on the Clay and Buck vip
feed on video right now. You may think, okay, it
looks a little tired. That would be accurate. I landed
about one am coming back from Seattle last night. But
(32:27):
I was really excited to be out in Seattle to
speak at the Hillsdale College event there, and what I
was talking about was how woke politics took over sports
and I can't think of anything woker than the idea
that you can be a man and win a women's championship.
And actually talked about that a great deal. At the
Hillsdale College event, their president, doctor Larry Arn, got to
(32:49):
sit next to him at dinner. Fabulous guy, really fascinating.
I told him, I want to go visit the Hillsdale campus.
I've never been there myself. I want to go visit
because I was so impressed by what they are doing
to teach everybody about the importance of American history and
American values. And I also want you to be able
to experience that by checking out Imprimus. Over six million
(33:12):
people they said, Now get the Imprimus newsletter. It's free.
Most current issue is out right now and it focuses
on the failure of DEI in society, not just in manufacturing,
but in medicine, education, other industries as well. Imprimus will
give you a smart constitutional commentary from conservatives like Christopher Rufo,
(33:33):
Victor Davis Hansen, Heather MacDonald and doctor Larry arn himself.
If you don't already get it, we get it at
this house and I love it. It's free. My parents
love it. Clayanbuck for Hillsdale dot com right now. Go
to clayanbuckfo Hillsdale right dot com right now and you
will get Imprimus sent to your house for free. That's
(33:55):
Clay and Buck for Hillsdale dot Com. Sometimes all you
can do is laugh, and they do a lot of
it with the Sunday hang Join Clay and Buck as
they laugh it up in the Clay and.
Speaker 1 (34:07):
Buck podcast feed on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you
get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Welcome back in the Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. Appreciate
all of you hanging out with us. Final hour of
the week fourteen hours up. Fifteenth hour now underway, we'll
be back on Monday. Buck on vacation with his wife Carrie.
He will be back on Monday. We'll be back in
together here. As theoretically the Trunk Talk trial will be
(34:34):
set to go. Several different things that we have talked
about throughout the course of the program so far. I
ran you through the twelve different jurors that have been
seated so far for the Trump trial, the biographical information
that is out there about them. Why I am not
optimistic based on the data that is out there about
these individuals that have been seated. Now, maybe others will
(34:58):
disagree with that. Some of you called in and said
that you do. And by the way, we'll take some
of your calls. Eight hundred and two A two two
eight eight two. As it is Friday, We're going to
be joined by Matt Walsh in the third hour of
this program right here. In about thirty minutes, you just
heard from Betsy de Voss, former Education secretary under Donald Trump,
about the absolutely insane new regulations put in place by
(35:24):
the Biden administration which effectively expand Title nine to include
men who are pretending to be women. This is a
staggering thing that I talked about in my discussion at
Hillsdale College, I want all of you to ask yourselves this,
(35:45):
Why has no one asked Joe Biden about this? If
you had to point to one thing in America right
now that crystallizes how broken things really are in this
country in terms of falsehood being accepted as truth, is
there anything that is more pertinent or more exemplar, more
(36:12):
exemplifies this situation than a man can tell you that
he is a woman. And if you do not immediately
accept it, you're a bigot. This is bonkers. This is
crazy even by left wing Democrat party standards. And how
(36:35):
is it that you haven't had Biden himself have to
answer this question. You may have seen me some on
social media because people have come after me since OutKick
had a reporter, dan Zak Shesky went and asked Don Staley,
the women's basketball coach at South Carolina, do you support
(36:57):
the idea of men who identify as women being able
to play women's basketball? And she said yes that she did,
and people came after me and came after OutKick like crazy.
Such that now with the headline that I read anti
(37:18):
gay sports writer's rage tweet, homophobic sports writer Klay Travis.
How is it homophobic to believe that women's sports should
only be made up of women. How has Joe Biden
not been asked by a single member of the media,
particularly now that his administration is defining Title nine to
(37:42):
include men pretending to be women. How has he not
been asked that basic question? Joe Biden loves to talk
about his athletic career, about all the sports that he
used to play. How has he not been asked directly
in three and a half years whether he believes men
should be able to compete in women's athletics. Not one
(38:07):
interviewer has asked that question. Not one member of the
media has asked that question. How has Joe Biden never
been asked this question and never had to respond? And
how have we reached a place where something that is
fundamentally untrue many of us are supposed to acknowledge it
(38:31):
as truth. I talked about this in my address at
Hillsdale College. Once they can get you to a mint
something that you know is untrue, they have broken you
(38:52):
because as soon as you will admit one untruth, there
are many others that will follow. If you will say
a man is a woman, then you will say a
man can breastfeed. You will even be willing to say
pregnant person instead of pregnant woman. Women are being erased here,
(39:20):
and I'm just so fired up about it because it's crazy.
You can't be transgender. You can dress up and pretend
you're something other than what you are. People might be
kind to you and call you by a different name
(39:42):
if you ask them to do so. But as soon
as you are saying I'm a woman and I should
be able to compete in women's athletics, you're then requiring
me to submit to your delusion and to your lie.
And I know gender for some people is so you're
(40:04):
so nervous about having to talk about it. Biological reality
exists in the same way that time exists. I am
speaking to you today, and I am forty five years old.
If I told you that I was twenty five, or
(40:24):
I told you that I was sixty five because I
was transage, you would think I was crazy. If I
told you that, as a forty five year old, I
identified as an eleven year old boy and I tried
to play Little League baseball, you would want to have
me committed to a mental institution. I would be an
(40:50):
incredible eleven year old baseball player. I would wreck those kids.
I'd batflip, I'd hit home runs all the time. I
might be, humbly the greatest eleven year old baseball player
who has ever existed. At the age of forty five,
this is ridiculous. This is hyperbole, but this is crazy,
(41:13):
and most of you out there are saying, yeah, you know,
this would be crazy. And you don't even have to
be a forty five year old identifying as a little leaguer.
I'm coaching little league baseball. If somebody showed up with
a sixteen year old, every parent would flip out. I
just last summer, some of you will remember, went up
to Cooperstown, New York's fabulous, phenomenal place where the Baseball
(41:35):
Hall of Fame is. They have Little league tournaments there.
You have to bring the actual birth certificate, not even
a picture of it, your actual birth certificate to prove
that your kid is eligible to play twelve U. I
know this because I lost the actual birth certificate in Cooperstown,
(41:59):
New York. My buddy who's the head coach, handed it
to me. Somehow I lost it. My wife was not
happy that I lost the original birth certificate for our
twelve year old. That's how much of sticklers they are
about the age of the kids that play, because if
(42:21):
you're fourteen or thirteen, or god forbid, fifteen or sixteen,
you would be way better at twelve U and people
might be willing to cheat, and so you have to
bring an actual copy of your birth certificate to demonstrate
your age. The birth certificate that I lost, turns out
it's not that hard to get a new one. Not
(42:43):
the argument that my wife wanted to hear when I
told her that I didn't know what happened to the
original birth certificate, but just in the event that you
ever end up the dad at the Little league tournament
who loses your kid's birth certificate, it's not that hard
to get a new one. If you said, hey, hey, hey,
I'm not worried about transage. I'm not trying to be
(43:07):
a Little leaguer, but instead I want to be the
president of the NAACP. I'm going to be black, I'm transracial.
People would lose your mind, lose their minds. Rachel doles
All tried this in Spokane, Washington. I would love for
Joe Biden to be asked do you think a man
(43:28):
should be able to win a women's championship? Whatever? His
answer is, if transgender works and is real, why is
transage in transrace not a thing? What's easier changing your
gender or being like Elizabeth Pocahontis Warren and lying about
(43:50):
what race you are? Lots of you out there don't
even know your racial background. You haven't done the full
d analysis. You don't know if your family's German, you
don't know, if your family is as British, you don't
know for sure if your family is Spanish. There are
(44:12):
lots of people who get that DNA analysis and find
out that what they thought isn't true. Elizabeth Warren claims
she was Native American. It turns out she was one
oney twenty fourth Native American, less Native American than the
average white person in America today is. Yet she claims
she was Native American, got jobs from it for years.
(44:33):
Transrace isn't a thing. She couldn't have come out and said, oh,
you know what, turns out I'm not Native American, but
I am transracial. I feel like I'm Native American. Therefore
I am, and all of you have to pretend that
I am. Can't be transaged, that would be ridiculous. Can't
be transrace that would also be ridiculous. Isn't it actually
(44:56):
less ridiculous than being transgender? It'd be way easier for
me to argue that I'm an Asian man than to
argue that I'm an Asian woman. Gender is actually far
more significant than race or age in many respects, because
a lot of times you can't tell how old somebody
(45:17):
is based on just looking at them. You can always
pretty much tell whether somebody's a guy or a girl.
This is all crazy. If they can get you to
admit this lie, then they can get you to admit
many other lies. This is about destroying the family. This
is about tearing down the fabric of the country. I'm
not exaggerating here. Why has Joe Biden not had to
(45:40):
answer questions about this given what he's doing with Title nine?
And why are so many women out there who claim
to be feminists and who claim to be supporters of
women's athletics and have fought for much of their life
to try to give equal opportunity to women now so
quick to argue, Oh, that man who's pretending to be
(46:02):
a woman walking around in high heels in a short
skirt with a penis Why are they so quick to say, oh,
you're a woman too. Oh yeah, I know what you're
talking about when you claim that you're having periods, you
claim that you want a breastfeed, that you want to
have a baby. But this is madness, This is insanity.
But this is what's going on right now. We'll take
(46:23):
some of your calls. Matt wallsh who knows all about
this so he did a great documentary on it, will
join us at the bottom of the hour. But in
the meantime, I want to tell you all about my
friends at Legacy Box. They will help to ensure that
your family memories are preserved forever, whether they are on
film reels, whether they're on VHS tapes, or whether they
(46:46):
are out there right now on old photos. Before you
had all these photos on your phone. I'm reading off
my phone right now. They can see it on video.
You had hundreds of photos that you had to go
out and get developed. Remember getting those getting those old
photos that you used to get at Walgreens or whatever
(47:06):
pharmacy you would go to. You had to go pull
go look through what all those photos looked like. You
didn't get to see them immediately digital style to see
what they were going to look like. What have you
done with all those old pictures probably in photo albums somewhere?
Do you know they're not preserved forever, They're not digitally
preserved forever, and they could be in danger inside of
(47:26):
those inside of those places where you're keeping them, the
acrylic can start to get onto your pictures, they can
start to destroy because they will degrade over time. Why
not preserve them forever? With Legacy Box. They return every
last photo to you when they're finished, along with brand
(47:47):
new digital files, and they'll do it for seventy five
percent less than other companies. Go online to legacy box
dot com slash clay to get started. That's a legacybox
dot Com slash clay where you can find their best deals.
One more time, legacybox dot Com slash Clay.

The Truth Compass Pointing Do right every Day The Clay
Travis and Buck Sexton Show.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. Appreciate all
of you hanging out with us, thanks to Matt Walsh,
thanks to Betsy de Vos Buck. We'll be back with
me on Monday. Looking forward to that as the Trump
trial will officially be underway. By the way, I'll be
on Fox News here in a few minutes with Martha
McCollum as soon as I finish the show. If you're
(48:38):
thinking to yourself, you know what I need more Clay, Well,
you'll see me there talking soon on Fox News and
Again News. The jury has been fully in paneled. You
can go back download the podcast. I broke down the
biographical detail provided by The New York Times of the
twelve jurors that have been seated. There are also six
(48:58):
alternate jurors, and I would make a prediction that they
will definitely need to go into the alternate jury pool
at some point in time because I think they'll have
to remove some jurors because they will find out that
they were not truthful based on social media profiles or
other aspects of this trial. That would be my prediction
that they will end up in the alternate pool. I
(49:21):
also want to say it's Friday. I love you guys
the amount of support that you have shown for Crockett Coffee.
This is bucking Mind's coffee company. It's truly off the charts.
And if you like this show, and if you'll love America.
And if come Saturday or Sunday, you do what I do,
which is sit down and read the news to start
(49:44):
your day, and you know that the news is not
all going to be ideal, but you want to feel
a little bit better about things. Why not support a
coffee company that believes America is amazing, the greatest country
that's ever existed in the history of the world. Believes
American history, while imperfect, is the story of triumph of
good over evil, and believes that America is the greatest
(50:09):
and best hope for humanity in the history of the
entire world. That's why we named our Crockett company Crockett Coffee,
named after Davy Crockett, who explored the Wild Frontier and
helped to gain Texan independence from Mexico, among other things.
Encourage you to go check it out Crockettcoffee dot Com.
(50:31):
Would mean a ton to us for you to sign
up and subscribe and start off your day with our coffee.
I mentioned that Biden is the biggest liar who's ever
been in the White House. I truly believe that is
the case. If you go look at all the lies
that he has told. They're still continuing this just happened.
When I said that Biden claims that he ran for
(50:53):
president because of the Charlottesville very fine, people lie Listen
to Karine Jean Pierre questioned by Peter Doocey try to
reference it yet again when he asked about anti Israel protests,
here's cut thirty one.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
What does the president think about young people in America
saying things like we are all a moss and long
live amusay.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
I will say, Look, this is a president that has
been since he's been in office, and the reason why
he ran has been very clear about what he witnessed
in Charlottesville. Let's not forget what we saw, the anti semitism,
the bigotry, the hate that we saw in the street
of Charlottesville, which as I just stated, was one of
the reasons that he decided to run. And no president
(51:37):
has taken more action to combat anti Semitism than this president.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
And so you know, in our.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
National strategy, we make clear that when Jews are targeted
because of their beliefs, because of their identity, or when
Israel is singled out because of anti Jewish hate hatred,
that is anti semitism, and that is completely completely unacceptable.
Speaker 2 (52:02):
It is interesting that Charlottesville, which was an anti Semitic
protest in many respects, became a huge constant attack on Trump. Meanwhile,
all of the anti Jewish protests that are taking place
all over the country on a regular basis are not being,
(52:23):
to a large extent, attributed to Joe Biden and the
failures of his administration. One incident in Charlottesville Trump is
defined by and they can lie about for years and years.
We've had now six months of anti Jewish protests all
over this country, the highest level of anti Semitism that
(52:44):
I have seen in my life, and almost no one
is holding the Biden administration responsible for it. That I
think worth contemplating. Love you guys, appreciate the week you've
spent with us. Buck. We'll be back with me on Monday.
Have fabulous weekends. We'll talk to you then.
