Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show. Appreciate all
of you hanging out with us. We are rolling through
the third hour of the program Friday edition. Buck is
out today. I'll be back with me on Monday, traveling
with his family. All of you are having fantastic weeks
so far as August begins, and we get ready to
(00:21):
roll into the weekend and encourage you to go download
the podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Make sure you don't miss a single moment.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Yesterday we had a ton of guests on, including President
Trump in the third hour. If you miss that, you
can go listen to that. If you search out my
name Clay Travis, if you search out Buck Sexton Boom,
you can go listen to that interview. We also talked
with Riley Gaines, who's an OutKick employee, speaking out about
crazily the fact that there shouldn't be men and women's sports.
(00:48):
I can't believe this is a real issue going on
on a day to day basis, but it is. And
we also talked with Auburn men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl.
Earlier today, we talked with David Afoon, who is the
publisher of The New York Sun about what's going on
in Israel. We're scheduled to be joined at the bottom
of this hour by Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn. But I
(01:11):
want to hit a couple of news stories that are
out there as we are starting the final hour of
the week, fourteen hours up into the fifteenth hour. And
by the way, maybe some of you are feeling a
bit like you're dragging. Maybe you need a little bit
more pep in your step. That's what Crockett Coffee can
do for you. Buck and I are excited to have
(01:33):
this company and have it thriving and be building a
coffee that loves America.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Can you believe it?
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Someone who actually believes that American history is good and
that the study of American history is one of triumph
over great turmoil and tempest. And that's why we named
the company after Davey Crockett. So if you are a
fan of American history and you like great coffee and
you want to celebrate the history of America, then you
(01:59):
should be can crack at coffee every morning like both
Buck and I are doing. All right, we mentioned breaking
news out there. They have nominated Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris
is officially now the Democrat nominee. They're not waiting until
the convention. You'll recall that they were trying to get
Joe Biden nominated, and they were trying to rush it through,
(02:21):
that all of that was underway, and so it is
now a foregone conclusion that Kamala Harris is going to
be the nominee of the Democrat Party and that she
will be going head to head against Donald Trump. Now,
the question is, and we should not underrate that she
never received a single vote for president of the United States,
(02:46):
that over fourteen million people voted for Joe Biden, and
that none of that mattered at all. That Democrats, who
claim that they care so desperately about democracy, as soon
as they recognize Joe Biden was going to lose who
they cut bait, kicked him to the curb and elevated
Kamala Harris, who no one selected. I'm not sure and
I don't believe frankly, that she would have been the
(03:08):
nominee if if they had actually gone through a competitive
primary process. And whether you love or hate Trump, he
went through a competitive primary process and beat several mega
qualified candidates that I believe would have been very good representatives,
Rhonda Santis, Nikki Haley.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Maybe you voted for someone else. Trump beat them.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
The Republican Party selected Donald Trump as its nominee through
the ballot. Kamala Harris was elevated through big donor manipulation
and pressure on Biden forcing him to step down. She
never has received a vote for president of the United
(03:54):
States in her life. When she was an actual candidate
for president of the United States, she dropped out before
votes started being cast in twenty twenty. She didn't run
as president in twenty twenty four. Yet here she is,
roughly ninety days away from the election, with the potential
presidency in her hands in a way, in a manner
(04:16):
that we have never seen before. It's the most anti
democratic process to select the nominee in any of our lives.
That's important. We can't understate the significance of the way
she has risen to the nomination. But she now is
going to be charged and will be soon making her
(04:37):
pick for vice president. Who's that pick going to be?
As I am speaking to you right now, as I
am discussing it, this is the presidential sorry, the vice
presidential odds. It appears that she is going to pick
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, fifty one years old, won a
(05:01):
comfortable election in twenty twenty two to be the governor.
Andy Basher, the governor of Kentucky, is in distant second place,
followed by Tim Waltz, the governor of the state of Minnesota,
then Mark Kelly and Mayor Pete Botage edge That is
(05:23):
the top five candidates. But again, Josh Shapiro sixty eight
percent chance to be selected, nobody else above twelve percent.
So I think Josh Shapiro is going to be the pick.
I would be surprised if he's not, because the math
is pretty simple. And if Kamala Harris picks Josh Shapiro,
(05:45):
she's going to be picking the person that I think
is most likely to deliver the state of Pennsylvania to her.
And significantly, there is virtually no pathway to the presidency
for the Democrat nominee Kamala Harris without winning Pennsylvania. Now,
if you look at the board, she trails in Georgia, Arizona,
(06:08):
and Nevada, all three of them. All three of them
are states that Trump is in pretty solid position to win.
If Trump were to win those three then all he
would need to do is either Omaha. I hope you're listening,
either win Omaha, which would get him to two sixty nine,
(06:31):
or win one of three Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. All
three of those states right now are a toss up.
Generally speaking, I feel like they're all three gonna go
the same way. In other words, Trump's gonna win Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin,
or Kamala's gonna win Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin. It's possible they
(06:55):
break up, and this race is so close that all
three of those states don't go in the same direction.
But they went in the same direction in sixteen for Trump,
they went in the same direction in twenty four Biden.
It feels to me likely in twenty twenty four that
they're all going to go the same direction, one way
or the other. So Kamala is thinking, if I pick Shapiro,
(07:18):
I can pretty much take Pennsylvania off the board. That's
her thought. Traditionally, vice presidential picks don't matter very much,
but in this strategic imperative, Kamala is saying he's so
popular in Pennsylvania that he will gain me enough votes
to win that state. If she's right, then the entire
(07:39):
election would come down to Michigan in Wisconsin. Now the
wrinkle here Shapiro is actually getting attacked from the left.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Do you know what? He's getting attacked for.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Being Jewish in particular. I just saw that he's being
attacked for not being pro Palestine enough. They're going back
to things that he wrote in college. This is a
story right now. The Philly Inquirer has an article from
(08:15):
Josh Shapiro. Palestinians will not coexist peacefully. Shapiro wrote, they
do not have the capabilities to establish their own homeland
and make it successful, even with the aid of Israel
in the United States. They are too battle minded to
be able to establish a peaceful homeland of their own.
(08:37):
So this is intriguing.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Is it the case?
Speaker 1 (08:43):
And by the way, I've been a lot of you
who heard that kind of nod your head. You're saying, yeah,
I kind of agree with Shapiro's perspective there on Palestine.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
I do too.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Is it the case though, that the left wing of
the Democrat Party, the Rashida Talibs, the AO sees the
elon Omars has become so anti Semitic that if Kamala
Harris selects Josh Shapiro, there could be a rejection of
(09:14):
that pick on the left that ends up costing her,
in particular, maybe the state of Michigan, because Michigan has
a large Jewish and a large Arab population. And if
you look at the margin of the state of Michigan
in twenty twenty, if Kamala Harris loses Arab voters, Trump
(09:37):
might be able to win the state of Michigan. So
she could simultaneously elevate her chances of winning Pennsylvania while
detracting from her chances of winning Michigan because they're such
an anti Semitic base now inside.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Of the left wing in the Democrat Party.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
And this is why I've always said that while we
talk about political spectrums, in some cases it's actually a
political circle because the far right has got anti Semites
in it, the far left has got way more anti
Semites in it, and they actually agree on that perspective.
(10:18):
Something interesting to think about. Right we tend to think
of far right far left, but in some cases the
far right and the far left actually make common ground,
and disliking Jewish people is one of the elements there.
Now it's far more ascendent in the left than it
is on the right. But it's kind of a fascinating
dynamic at play right that Josh Shapiro could be a
(10:40):
good pick for moderates and independence but a bad pick
for base turnout on the left. I guarantee you that's
the primary discussion that's going on in Kamala Harris's camp
right now.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
And I want you to think about this question.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
What would the media be saying if Trump were about
to pick a Jewish vice presidential candidate and the reason
why he was loath to do it was because there
were too many anti Semites in the party be a
number one story in America. Trump trying to pick someone
a Jewish guy to be his VP, but there's too
(11:18):
much opposition from inside of his own party because Republicans
are all anti Semitic and they won't stand for a
Jewish nominee.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Now, I want you to think about.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
This because some people don't recognize how much political parties
can shift. Lieberman was the pick Senator for al Gore
in two thousand. He was Jewish. There wasn't any major
pushback inside of the Democrat Party that I recall over
(11:50):
al Gore picking a Jewish vice presidential candidate. Here we
are nearly twenty five years later, twenty four years to
be exact, there may be a Jewish vice presidential candidate
on the ticket and Democrats are upset on the left
wing because he's too pro Israel. Tell me that the
(12:13):
Democrats have not substantially evolved, when that is the perspective
under which this may or may not end up happening.
Just think about it. Just think about this situation when
we come back. I'm going to hammer it again. EBC. Baby,
It's all that matters, It's all that's going on. It
(12:35):
will win no matter who Kamala.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Picks as VP.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
And by the way, I hope she listens to the
anti Semitic basis of her party because I think Josh
Shapiro is the best pick she could make. I hope
she picks Mayor Pete. I hope she picks Andy Basheer.
I hope she picks Tim Waltz. All of those guys
I think would be a drastically inferior pick. Maybe I
shouldn't have even said that, so I don't want to
give him ideas. I think Shapiro is the clear best pick,
(13:02):
but the fact that it's not a slam dunk is
because of all the anti Semitism inside of the left
wing of the Democrat Party right now. It takes real
confidence to tell your company you want to reduce your
salary to just to token a dollar a year and
instead accept a new form of compensation. That's what Buck's
good friend Porter Stansbury's done. He's the CEO of a
highly profitable financial research company. He's so confident this plan
(13:25):
is good for all of you that he's sharing it
in an online video. He's doing that because he wants
you to consider following his approach. Porter sees a new
form of money in America. It's making some people very wealthy.
You don't need to be a CEO to obtain this
new kind of compensation. Thousands of Americans in different full
time roles have already started to be compensated in this
(13:46):
new form. Every American legally entitled to use this not
so well currency, but few know much about it. But
now Porter's hoping to change that. Check out Porter's latest
detailed presentation online at secret Currency twenty twenty four dot com.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show. Appreciate all
of you hanging out with us. We're just talking about
who Kamala could pick as VP. Josh Shapiro under attack
from the left for not being sufficiently crazy when it
comes to the issue of Israel and how that might
impact things. But if you missed me opening the show,
(14:49):
I said, this erase is not actually very complicated at all.
It comes down to something very simple EBC, economy, border
crime hit that every single time, and that is super important.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
All that matters.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
It's going to make the decision in this race. It
is the essence. Now, there are other things. He came
on the show yesterday and he pointed out, Hey, men
shouldn't be fighting against women, and I can't believe that's real,
and some of you have asked questions about that. By
the way, the Boxing Commission determine that two female putting
(15:31):
female in quotation marks boxers actually have x y chromosomes,
that they are biologically male even though they are identifying
as female. Now, this gets into the particulars of their lifestyle.
Sometimes children are born, babies are born, it's very rare,
(15:55):
but they have sex markers of more than one sex.
That is their kind of intersex. For lack of a
better way to describe it. Usually that and I'm not
an expert on this, thankfully, but usually there is still
a chromosomal identification. In other words, in this case it's
(16:16):
x y, but it is a bit of a biological
middle ground. What has happened here, according to the Boxing Commission,
is these are biological men who have been identifying as
women and they are then dominant athletes. Now this has
happened before. There's a woman by the name woman by
(16:39):
the name of Castor Semina who has identified herself as
a woman her whole career, but she has so many
male characteristics that she's not allowed to compete as a
man in the Olympics. Basically, it would appear that these
two individuals are in a similar proposition to that. That is,
(16:59):
as a baseline rule, if you have x y chromosomes,
you are a man. But in these particular countries, Algeria
and Taiwan. These individuals may have been somewhat intersex, and
they have now determined that their x Y they're bigger, stronger,
and faster than your average woman because they are more
male than they are female.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
It's messy.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
It obviously does not happen in men's sports, because if
you were a woman with some male characteristics, you wouldn't
be big, strong, or fast enough to compete at the
highest level. Another one of these boxers, though, with those characteristics,
this time from Taiwan, beat up a woman and is
advancing in the pursuit of a medal. And it is
(17:42):
my opinion, and is the opinion I imagine in most
of you, that someone with x Y chromosomes, that is
a biological man, should not be competing in the Olympics
as a woman. And so that is that update. I
got some questions from some of you about it. That
is a further explanation of the biology behind the boxing
matches that we have seen captivate the country for the
(18:04):
past couple of days. I want to tell you right now,
Tunnel to the Towers Foundation cares about the families of
the first responders and those who defend our freedoms. Christopher Chambers,
one of those individuals, enlisted in the US Navy later
graduated from seal training. No easy feat conducting a night
time raid on a ship that was transporting very destructive
items from Iran to Hooti forces in Yemen when he
(18:25):
was reported missing. Lost his life in the line of
duty that night. He was just thirty seven years old,
and he left behind his wife and a young daughter.
Tunnel to Towers provided Christopher's family with a mortgage free home.
The foundation honors the legacy of those who've made the
ultimate sacrifice or severely injured while serving our country and
our communities. Donate eleven dollars a month to Tunnel to

Clay Travis and Buck Sexton on the front Lines of Truth.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Welcome Back in Friday edition play Travis buck Sexton show
Buck out with his family. We Back up with Me
on Monday. Joined now by senator from my home state
of Tennessee, the official Republican nominee in the wake of
yesterday's primary in the state of Tennessee, Senator Marsha Blackburn Senator,
you've got your race coming up. Thanks for joining us
here on this Friday. But also you know the importance
(19:19):
of being in the majority.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
So we're We've.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Obviously spent a lot of time talking about Trump versus
Kamalin now and I'll probably ask you a bit about it.
But how optimistic are you as you look at the
larger board of available races that Republicans are going to
take back control of the Senate And what would it
mean for your ability if you were a part of
the majority as opposed to the minority.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
Yes, indeed, And when you look at the races that
are on the board Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania,
West Virginia, wiscon Son, you see the opportunity for Republicans
to win in each of these states, Michigan, which is
(20:03):
an open state. But what it means is that we
have to be diligent in getting our message out and
talking about what it is going to mean to have
Republicans in charge. Because whoever is the majority in the
Senate sets the agenda. It also allows us to block
bad nominees. You know, the Senate is in the personnel business,
(20:27):
and we're the ones that have to confirm all of
the judges and the ambassadors and the executive appointments for
the administration. So being able to block people that are
not qualified, being able to block judges that are not
(20:48):
that have never been a judge and are wanting to
go to the federal bench. So it makes a big
difference in We are hopeful with President Trump in the
White House, we will be able to do a lot
of good work on government reform, right sizing the federal government,
getting spending under control, which by the way, has been
(21:09):
the big driver of inflation, the out of control government spending.
Of course, secure that border, and deal with the crime
and the gangs that have come into this country, and
take care of our veterans. Right now, the VA has
a one million case backlock. One million. And we also
(21:31):
want to make certain that our allies around the globe
know they're an ally and that our enemies fear us.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Senator Blackburn, you were in the hearing. I believe it
was on Tuesday, the most recent. The Secret Service Acting
director is speaking right now. You pursued and help to
get the current Secret Service director out. I watch these videos.
I mean the Fox News has a new one that
I'm sure you've seen of what looks like the guy
(22:01):
with the gun running across the roof while Trump is talking.
You've seen all the failures that occurred. I've said, this
can only be gross criminal negligence or intent, that is,
they intentionally failed. It's hard to believe the second could
be the case. What consequences are are therefore, at minimum
(22:21):
a gross criminal negligent performance by everyone entrusted with protecting
President Trump.
Speaker 5 (22:28):
Well, these individuals need to be fired. The Secret Service
works on two different things. One is counterfeiting and the
second is the personal security. And that is the security
of right now, a total of thirty one people, and
that is your current president, vice president, their family, and
(22:51):
then your former presidents and then a few people in
the administration that have had death threats. So that is
the group that personal security is what they are tasked with.
And you know, Clay, as I've said many times, this
(23:12):
isn't like you missed your budget numbers or you didn't
get your casework quota complete. When the Secret Service messes up,
people die. And that is exactly what you saw in Butler, Pennsylvania.
And to this day, we still do not have the
action plan We do not know who cleared Donald Trump
(23:36):
to go on that stage at six o'clock when an
hour prior they had noted a suspicious person, and at
five point fifty one they deemed him a potential threat,
and at five point fifty three they alerted the sharpshooters.
So how could anybody clear the former president? How could
(23:58):
they do that? And we have to be mindful of that,
And those are some of the answers we're wanting to
get from the Secret Service.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
When you, I know your mom and a grandma, A
lot of people out there are really concerned about what
their kids see online and parents try to be as
forthright and in control of that as they possibly can be.
You guys are starting to address that in the Senate.
What have you done and how do you think it
might help?
Speaker 5 (24:30):
Yeah, the Kids Online Safety Guide, which is the legislation
that Dick Bloomenthal and I have led in a bipartisan
manner for about the last three and a half years.
We passed it on Tuesday with a ninety one to
three vote and passed it out of the Senate. It
was a huge win, absolutely tremendous win for us, and
(24:58):
it will now go to the House. What this bill
will do is require your social media platforms to do
safety by design. You know, we have all sorts of
product design requirements on products in the physical world, but
we have no requirements in the virtual space. So this
(25:23):
is a first. It also will require a duty of
care from these social media platforms. They must open up
their algorithms, they must submit to an annual audit, and
they have to have a toolbox for kids and parents
so they can adjust these algorithms to determine what the
(25:47):
child is seeing from the virtual space. You know, there
are laws in the physical space. You cannot take a
child to a strip show, a bar, a casino, you
cannot sell alcohol, tobacco, pornography to a child. But in
the virtual space, they're exposed to this every day, to
(26:10):
the pornographic images, to people that are pushing suicidal ideation,
to eating disorders. They're meeting drug dealers, alcohol dealers, sex traffickers, pedophiles,
and it is ruining the lives of our children. And
(26:31):
people have said, we have to put something in place
so that we aren't just allowing kids to be exposed
to this. We have to have some parameters. So this
is the bill that we'll do that, and we are
looking forward to seeing it finish in the House in
(26:52):
September and then move to the President's desk.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
We're talking to Senator Marsha Blackburn. You served, i believe,
alongside of Kamala Harris for a couple of years in
the Senate. Now that she is the nominee, what do
you think based on your knowledge of her, from your
experience about the race against Trump, and whether she's qualified
or able to do the job of president.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
Yeah, you know, it's going to be the same group
of policies that you have had with Biden Harris. She
is going to continue that. And look at her record.
When I was ranked the most conservative member of the
US in twenty nineteen, Kamala was ranked the most liberal.
She is for defunding the police. She is for ending
(27:40):
cash bail. She has given to these bail funds that
get criminals out of jail. She thinks that police should
be treated like criminals and criminals should be tagged as victims.
She has been the borders are where she failed miserably.
She didn't even go to to the lower Rio Grande Valley.
(28:02):
When she went to the border, she went to al Paso.
She thinks that all ten million illegal aliens should be
given free health care. They should be given the right
to vote. As a matter of fact, she would do
away with private health insurance for everyone. She thinks we
need to go to government run health care and nobody
(28:25):
has private insurance. Everybody can only have whatever healthcare the
government says that you can get. She is for ending
all oil and gas production in the US and for
passing the Green New Deal, and she would pack the court.
(28:47):
She is for allowing boys in girls sports. These are
her positions. She is the most radical leftist person who
has ever been on the ballot and run for president
in the United States.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Senator Blackburn, congratulations on the Republican nomination.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Ninety days. We'll congratulate you on another term in the
United States. Senate. Hope you have a great weekend. Thanks
for spending time with us.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
Oh you got it. Everybody can follow the campaign at
Marsha Blackburn dot com.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
And if you're at Tennessee and you can vote for
Marshall like I am. Talk to you again soon, Senator Blackburn,
appreciate the time. Look, you just heard Kamala Harris dissected
there in terms of what she actually believes. Marsha Blackburn
said in twenty nineteen she was rated the most conservative.
Kamala Harris was rated the most liberal. If you think
(29:40):
maybe some liberals could use a little bit more testosterone.
If you watch Joe Biden wandering around on the White
House lawn on a regular basis, and you think to yourself, boy,
that guy ain't doing well, Maybe it's just you. Maybe
you're sitting here at two forty five Eastern on a Friday,
and you're like, man, I don't know if I've get
two and a half more hours of work in me.
(30:02):
Maybe you've already cut out of work and you're on
your way home right now. Yeah, I can see you
because you don't have the energy to work another couple
of hours. What about a little bit more testosterone in
your life? Thanks to Chalk, all natural male vitality stat

Time, I mentioned that Seaton, the owner of Chalk, was
down in South Florida late at night. Everybody's got a
early morning turned. You know who was still there seating.
He's got great energy them Figger vitality. Testosterone not an
issue if you do have that issue, if you'd like
to be the last person at your community engagement, if
(30:39):
you'd like to be able to have the energy to
run out to your kids or your grandkid's events coming
up this weekend and not be thinking, man, I can't
wait to get into bed and sleep for fourteen hours
like Joe Biden. Maybe you could add some chalk to

It's been another busy, crazy week.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Appreciate all of you hanging out with us and encourage
you as always go subscribe to the podcast, make sure
you don't miss a moment. I thought I'd finished with
some fun little drama inside the household here.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
So I was down on the road.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
As I mentioned with Buck, we were with a lot
of advertisers for several days to start the week. We
were down in South Florida. Come back home and there's
a controversy inside of the house. It seems that my
thirteen and nine year old who are on summer break
and have been playing a lot of video games, probably
like your kids or grandkids have, especially with the new
(32:25):
college football video game is out. In fact, I bet
a lot of you listening to me right now have
been playing that college football game yourself, regardless of how
old you are. Also, then Fortnite, a lot of MLB
the Show Major League Baseball fans here. The kids are
big Braves fans, and I've adopted the Braves as my
team as well. Turns out, unexpectedly a hole has shown
(32:49):
up in the wall near where the video games are played,
and my wife saw it first.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
Ask the boys.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
My oldest boy has been away at camp, so he
is He has got a great alibi.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
He was not involved. Oldest son is safe. She asked
the thirteen and the nine year old. What happened?
Speaker 1 (33:09):
Should be noted that like a lot of boys that age,
they are constantly wrestling and constantly throwing balls around games.
Sometimes a remote video game controller will get thrown in
anger over the game cheating. That's a direct quote the
game cheating. And so she said, what, boys, how did
(33:31):
we end up with a hole in the wall? They said,
the cat did it four foot high on the wall.
So I came upstairs and I used to play judge
dad when they were really little and they would get
into arguments with each other. I would say, Okay, you're
going to stand in front of me. I'm the judge.
(33:52):
You make the case for what you believe your brother did,
what he did wrong, and I will listen to You
can't talk while your brother talks. It's like a Joe
ud make your case and then your brother can make
the case, and I'll rule and find out who's telling
the truth and split the baby like King Solomon and
so I said, hold on, you're telling me that one
(34:13):
of the cats. These are not, by the way, leopards.
This is not a Florida panther, this is not a
We are not keeping tigers or lions inside of the
Travis household. These are Bengal cats. And I'm not a
fan of these cats in the first place. So probably
somebody's gonna clip this and put me alongside of jd
Vance and the childless cat ladies are going to be
(34:33):
after me too. Not Travis. Choice was not mine. During COVID,
my wife had the boys, when they were out of school,
give a persuasive speech on why we needed cats, and
I was out voted in my house four to one.
So I am not in favor of them. Having been there,
I will say, however, the cats putting a hole in
the wall through and I said, well, how do they
(34:55):
do this? They said, I guess, Dad, I guess they
just ran full speed and rammed their head into the
wall and broke the wall. I said, this is you guys, understand,
this is like the worst argument that anybody has ever made.
I do respect the fact that they were willing to
(35:18):
not sell out each other in some way, that they
were aligned as brothers should be. The comments to this
are really funny. But I said, hey, you know you guys,
I'm going to put this on Twitter and I'm going
to let my Twitter audience vote on whether they believe
that you are telling the truth or not. And my
(35:40):
nine year old, you know, I said, here's your story.
Let me I'm going to read it to you. You
confirm yes, this is your story and that this is
what you are saying. And I said, how do you
think this is going to go? Do you think the
followers of America Clay and Buck at Clay Travis on Twitter?
Do you think they're going to leave you? Do you
(36:01):
think they're going to find your argument to be persuasive?
And they were convinced. They were like, this is a
great argument. They're definitely going to buy into what we
are trying to sell here. So I put it on Twitter.
Over thirty thousand of you have voted and eighty five
percent said no, they're lying, fifteen percent of you said
(36:23):
they're truthful. And I just wanted to close with this.
My nine year old, right as I sent this, said,
the world will believe me. The world will believe me.
The world does not believe me. But I close with
that story to tell you guys this. Enjoy your families,
have fantastic weekends with everybody, and hopefully your cats don't
(36:45):
put big holes in your wall right by.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
The video game systems either. See you guys on Monday
on Clay and Buck
