Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome back in our number three Clay Travis buck Sexton Show.
Appreciate all of you hanging out with us as we
are rolling through the Monday edition of the program. Buck
will be back on Tuesday of next week. I'm in
solo this week as he takes a summer vacation before
all of the chaos begins to the extent that the
chaos ever stops.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
With what's going on right now?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
We've had a lot of great calls in the second
hour of the program discussing a massive gender gap that
may well determine who wins the twenty twenty four election.
Men are going to vote for Trump, women are going
to vote for Kamala. The margin of each and whether
Trump can pull more women or Kamala can pull more

(00:43):
men may well be the ultimate decider. Tommy Laren joins
us now. She is a young woman who talks to
a lot of young women for OutKick every single day
with her show.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Tommy Larin is fearless.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Tommy, you buy into this the that whichever of the
candidates can peel more of their non majority right, Trump
pulling more women or Kamala pulling more men may well
determine who wins this election.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
A million percent, and I hope that Trump has a
strategy to win over female voters. I haven't seen this
strategy yet, and we know that obviously his running mate
being jd Vance, and some of the controversial comments that
he's had about women in the past, they've really come
back to bite him, and that that is going to
stick with him. I don't think he's ever going to

(01:35):
be able to get away from that. Jade Vance isn't
and then by proxy Donald Trump. So I want to
see the Trump campaign bring out a woman. I don't
like the idea of Nicky Haley, but listen, bring out
Nicky Haley, bring out Tulcy Gabbard, Let's get Kelly and
Conway back in there. He needs to have a strategy
to win over women, and sometimes women need to see

(01:56):
other women to be convinced. It's a sad reality, but
the true campaign needs to do something.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Okay, So this is intriguing to me, Like they're calling
Tim Wall's coach Walls.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
He is a governor.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
He has not been a coach for twenty some odd years,
that seems to me. And they're focusing on his military service,
on the fact that he is a hunter. On the
fact that he wears camo hats every now and then,
it feels like they do have a strategy. I don't
think it's a good one because I don't think Tim
Walls appeals to that many actual middle of the road voters.

(02:30):
I think he seems very artificial. But what is the
Trump strategy? You mentioned Nicki Haley, you mentioned Tulsei Gabbard,
who on the campaign trail. Do you think would connect
in a really strong way with women, and how does
Trump go about deploying them in your mind to start
to have some impact.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
I think he needs to get them out there and
he needs to be campaigning with them. I think he
needs to send Nicky Haley to the suburbs and have
her doing events speaking on his behad. I think he
needs to have Telsey Gabbert doing the same thing advocating
for him, because up until now we've seen Donald Trump
make inroads with young people, but it's been young men.
You know, I'm a friend of theovonn i' thought the

(03:10):
Theovonne podcast was fantastic, But outside of me and my
other Trump supporting conservative friends, not a lot of women
are necessarily tuned in to THEO Vonn and they're not
going to take there maybe their electoral advice from THEO
Vonn or Joe Rogan or any of the men that
are obviously doing well. So he needs to have a strategy.
He needs to talk to more women, more female influencers.

(03:33):
I think putting his granddaughter back out on the trail
where she had that wonderful speech at the R and C.
That was fantastic. I know she's obviously pretty busy right
now committing to college, but he just needs to get
women out there speaking on his behalf next to him
at his events, because up until now we really haven't
seen that at all.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
News, by the way, breaking I love you probably have
seen Tommy the gambling markets. This is no great surprise
to you, but huge jump today in the odds that
Tulsi Gabbert is going to officially endorse Trump just hit
ninety seven percent, much like we saw with RFK Junior

(04:13):
right before he rolled out his official endorsement. What do
you think if this were to happen. We've had Tulsi
on the show a lot. I don't know if you've
had Tulsi on your OutKick show yet, but what do
you think the impact of someone like Tulsi on the
campaign trail could be.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
So I actually have Tulci on my show on Thursday,
so I'm very.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Ah good timing, very good.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Timing, Yes, perfect timing. Obviously I will be asking her
about all of this. But I think that Tulsi is
a secret weapon because Tulsi effectively ended Kamala's first try
as the presidency in twenty nineteen in just a couple
of minutes during that debate, absolutely eviscerated her. So Tulsi
coming out not only as somebody who can help Donald

(04:54):
Trump prepare for a debate, which we don't know if
that's going to happen now, but having her out there
as an advocate it. Obviously, a Democrat having left the
Democrat Party has the same appeal as an RFK junior.
It's all these Democrats coming out saying, listen, I'm a Democrat,
but the Democrat Party is so wild and woke now
i don't even want to be a part of it,
and I'm going all the way over to the Trump side.
That's powerful. Tulsi will have a huge impact on undecided.

(05:18):
So I'm really hoping that we get that announcement from her.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Uh okay, So my team is telling me, Ali, can
you pop up because I want your telling me that.
As we are talking, Trump just brought out Tulci Gabbard
on the stage with him in Detroit.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Yes, that's what it looks like. Fox cut away. So
we're getting confirmation on that right now.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Happened literally might have just happened as we're talking to you.
Tommy Trump is campaigning in Detroit, Michigan today. He was
in Virginia earlier and at the Tomb of the Unknown
Soldier in DC. Here is Shelby Talcott saying Tulci Gabbard
expected to formerly endorse Trump today at the National Guard event.
That is from Shelby Talcott, who is a reporter for Semaphore.

(06:05):
Aisha Hasni just retweeted it. So, Tommy, this goes directly
to what we were just talking about. Your interview with
her on Thursday can make sense. And by the way, Ali,
we can also reach out and see if we can
get her on again this week as well.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Here.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
But so you get Tulsi, if you get someone like
you said Nicki Haley, and I know people out there say, oh,
Nicki Haley, but she does have a lot of suburban
mom appeal that could start to maybe pull away some
of those female voters.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Absolutely, I think Nicki Haley. As much as I don't
necessarily like her, it doesn't matter if that's what we
need to win an election. So all of the conservatives
and Trump supporters that get the EU and the ick
by these certain people, I completely understand it. Listen, we're
not voting for them to be our president or even
our vice president. But then on the trail the helps
way independence at this point is needed. I think that

(06:55):
a lot on social media conservatives and Trump supporters exist
in this bubble where they think that they only need
to appease each other, and they're all voting for the
same person anyway, so it doesn't matter. We need to
reach across and get these people who don't pay attention
to politics every day, but they don't like some of
the things that Donald Trump says and does, and they're
really angry about the abortion of it all. So having

(07:16):
a woman out there, especially a former Democrat like Chelsey
big news great. I'm so happy that he's going down
this road and I hope that he continues.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Okay, you just mentioned abortion. It's the elephant in the room.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
When you look at data women eighteen to forty, eighteen
to forty five, whatever you want to say, who are
of child bearing age, abortion is overwhelming for them. The
number one issue. Men. I would say, even young men
Tommy and my experience, abortion's like seventh or eighth on

(07:50):
their issue. It doesn't connect with them in the same
visceral way. How do you handle the abortion issue? Is
Trump handling it? Well, what do you think he should
be saying? If he's going to try to peel away
some of these suburban moms, some of these young maybe
conservative otherwise women, but they almost have become single issue voters,

(08:10):
maniacally focused just on abortion.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Well. Jd Vance did it yesterday on the Sunday Shows,
which I was happy to see that he said, listen,
We're not going to sign a national abortion ban. If
it comes to Trump's death, which it never will, it'll
be vetoed and Donald Trump needs to say it. You know.
He did put on truth social and maybe even Twitter
that he was so great for reproductive rights and all
of this, and I don't know how effective that's going
to be, but just him and his own words saying

(08:35):
over and over again that I will not sign a
national abortion ban and being very clear about that, because
the entire DNC they put that on his doorsteps, saying
that he was going to sign a national abortion ban.
They've already set the narrative. So he has to be
very very clear that he will not sign a national
abortion ban. And the conservatives that are clinging to this issue,
I'm sorry, you need to get over it because we
need to win an election. And that's the hard truth.

(08:57):
You know, everybody wants this perfect conservative, evangelical candidate that's
pro life, that's wonderful. That's not what you have, and
it's never going to win an election ever, ever again,
at least you know, in my lifetime. So let's be honest.
Let's win an election and let's have Donald Trump out
there saying he would not sign a national abortion band.
That's the only thing he can do. But he has

(09:17):
to address it head on.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Tommy, you're in Nashville. I go out, not as much
as I used to, but when i'm out and there
are a lot of my wife's friends that we will
interact with for them again their you know mother age, right,
they're having kids. It's like nothing else gets through other
than abortion. I think there are a lot of men

(09:40):
and women out there with granddaughters, with daughters that are
just militant in terms of supporting Kamala that actually, if
you ask them about other questions, disagree with her on
almost everything. Is there a way to get them to
focus on other issues? You just said how Trump should
address it?

Speaker 2 (09:58):
What would you.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Say if we grandmas and grandpa's out there listening to
us with granddaughters. Same thing for parents, what would you
tell them that they should have a conversation with How
would they broach that with their daughters or granddaughters.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Well, I would remind them of the number of young
women who have been slaughtered by Kamala Harris's illegal alien
dreamers that she's let across the southern border. That's what
I would tell them. I mean, most of the victims
of what these illegal aliens allegedly have been doing in
our country has impacted young women. I mean, you can't
even go running in Georgia without being attacked by an
illegal aliens. So, and this is going to happen more,

(10:36):
by the way, for people that don't think it's gonna
there's millions and millions of illegal aliens. So there's a
pretty good chance that at least a percentage of them
are not going to be great people, and especially those
who evaded border enforcement altogether and are god aways. They
really don't want to be caught. So what are they
going to do? How much havoc are they going to
wreak in our country? Well, listen, they're going to go

(10:56):
after young, vulnerable women. So if you support women's rights,
you should support women's sports and not having men compete
against them and being in their locker rooms, in their bathrooms.
That's an important one. But also you should support border
enforcement because you don't want young women to be victims
of migrant crime. So those are two right there, on
top of not finding a national abortion band that would
be very effective.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
No doubt.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
And today we're talking about the thirteen heroes that were
killed in Afghanistan three years ago. The Taliban's completely taken
back over in Afghanistan. Women can't even look at men
that they're not either married to or related to. Now
they have to be wearing the burkas and everything else.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
You would think maybe the.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Left in this country that claims to care about women
so much, might be willing to recognize what the left's
abandonment of many different countries out there, and support of
people who've been attacking Israel actually leads to that's not
a bad point to be addressing either.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
No, it's not. But the unfortunate part about some of
these young people out there, they're actively in the streets
supporting Hamas, so I'm not again super confident that they're
really concerned what the Taliban is doing. So, you know,
that should be a no brainer. Obviously we should support
terrorist organization, but we saw outside of the DNC last
week the Democrat base out there supporting a terrorist organization,

(12:19):
so that's my concern. I do think that kind of
hitting the domestic issues is going to be more effective
because most people are concerned with what goes on in
their own backyard and in their schools. For the moms
out there, listen, you should be worried about what's happened
in your kids' schools. You should be worried, even if
you are woke, and even if you do love all
the social justice causes, you should care about the fact

(12:39):
that your kid's going to come out of high school
not knowing how to read and write proficiently. That should
bother you. Let's end the woke. Let's get schools back
to teaching people valuable life skills and life lessons, and
then we can have a more prosperous America. Even if
you are a liberal, I think everybody wants that. Go
back to how the liberals have decimated our schools, especially
through COVID and remote learning. Never let people forget.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
That, Tommy. If people want to hear more from you,
how can they find it.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
OutKick dot Com obviously on Monday through Friday one pm
Eastern and then of course on my social media at
Tommy Larren. And It's always good to be with you.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Clay, no doubt.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
And you can also see Tommy on many different Fox
News programs across the country. Tommy, thanks for making the
time today.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Thanks play talk to you soon for.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Sure, speaking to talk to you soon.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
You know who I talk to pretty much every day
on text message, sometimes during the course of this program.
My boys, they have a pure talk phone. In fact,
I've got a thirteen year old who is turning fourteen
next month. The rule that we have tried to put
in place in the Travis household that has worked so
far is you cannot get a phone until you're fourteen.
So fourteen years old get a phone. My thirteen year old,

(13:48):
who will turn fourteen next month, absolutely cannot wait to
get his own cell phone. He says, Oh Dad, this
is going to make it so much easier for you
to communicate with me. So if football practice get's changed,
just think how much better your life's.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Going to be. He's a good salesman, my kid.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
When you're able to just text me and I can
be like, hey, I'm getting out of practice a little
bit early, or hey we're on this field instead of
that field, you won't know how to find me otherwise.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Guess what. He's gonna have a Pure Talk phone. And
if I.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Trust puer Talk to save money and also to rely
on being able to be in touch with my sixteen
year old and my soon to be fourteen year old,
I trust him for my family. You can trust them
with yours, and you can also save a bundle in
the process. Why not go ahead and get Pure Talks
five G nationwide coverage every bit as strong as good
as any other carrier out there, but you're saving fifty

(14:40):
sixty sometimes more than that every single month for just
twenty five bucks a month. With Puretalk, you get unlimited
Talk text five gigs of data plus a mobile hotspot
for ten gigs of data, just slightly more enough to
be on the web for hours every day of the month.

saving now on your cell phone plan. That's pound two
five zero Pure Talk. Say Clay and Buck sent you learn,

Hang with Clay and Buck podcast. Fight it on the

(15:25):
iHeart Apple or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome back
in Clay Travis Buck Sexton show. As we are talking
with you. Tulcy Gabbard had taken the stage in Detroit
and officially endorsed Donald Trump. This is now the second
former Democrat. Remember Tulsea Gabbard ran for President of the

(15:47):
United States and in many ways is credited with an
epic takedown of Kamala Harris in the twenty twenty presidential
debates that we're taking place at that time. So Tulsi,
like RFK Junior to a certain extent, I would say,
like me as well, has remained committed to principle over party.

(16:10):
And now this is the second I would say, major
Democrat to flip and endorse Donald Trump against Kamala Harris.
I don't know how many more are going to come.
Who's the most prominent former presidential candidate to endorse Kamala Harris?

Speaker 2 (16:29):
That was a Republican. Did Mitt Romney do it? I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Mett Romney's such a loser. I don't even know who
he's endorsed. Maybe he's staying with Trump. I don't know
what he said. But I think these are two really
big additions for Trump. And I think Tulci is going
to have a lot of appeal. I think she would
make sense in a variety of roles in the cabinet.
She's been on this program, and every time she comes
on this program, we get deluged with many of you

(16:54):
out there who said Trump should pick Tulci as his VP.
There are a lot of you out there that working
to vote for RFK Junior. There are a lot of
you out there that we're saying Tulsea Gabbard as VP
would make the absolute most sense for Trump. Now she
is in as a part of the big Trump ticket.
So is RFK Junior. What did she just say on

(17:17):
the stage. We will play it for you when we
come back. Our team is grabbing this right now as
we speak. Also, who else could be out there? This
was hinted at a bit by RFK Junior as in
there are other people that may be unexpected that could
be joining the Trump team. Again, I like what Tommy said.

(17:39):
It's a big ticket, and you have to have a
big ticket in order to win a big election, maybe
the biggest election out there so far. We will discuss
with all of you when we come back. In the meantime,
there's a new credit card backed by Visa that supports
conservative causes with every purchase made. It's called coin, spelled

(18:00):
with a G as in coign. I've got mine. Use
it regularly because you get one percent cash back on
every dollar you spend. Most credit card companies don't consider
donating even a dollar to a conservative entity.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
Coin does.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
The newest nonprofit organization to receive their support is a
dog rescue and training organization called Rescue twenty two. They
rescue dogs and train them to become service dogs for
disabled veterans. Producer Greg told me today National Dog Day,
so another great reason to sign up for coin to
help out some dogs. Go to coin dot com. That's

(18:34):
coign dot com. Be sure to select Clay and Buck
and the how did you hear about a section on
the website coin dot com terms apply? Go to coin
dot com slash disclosures for full details. That's coin dot
com slash disclosures. Get signed up today and join us
with a coin credit card. That's coin dot com.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Sleeve.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Travis and Buck Sexton on the front lines of Welcome
back in Clay Travis buck Sexton show. Appreciate all of
you hanging out with us. We've been talking about how
Trump could reach out to women better, how he could
potentially extend a hand eight hundred and two two to
two eight A two Curious how many women women only
out there are going to respond to what we're about

(19:16):
to share with you. In Detroit, battleground state of Michigan,
Trump began the day at Arlington National Cemetery at the
tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the day that thirteen
soldiers were killed three years ago. As we withdrew from Afghanistan,
cowardly withdrawal, hurried withdrawal, that left behind billions and billions

(19:39):
of dollars of military that the Taliban military equipment, that
the Taliban continues to use to oppress women in their country.
Go figure, you would think that would turn into a
story Kamala Harris leading to an entire nation of women
not having basic human rights. But Tulsea Gabbert in Detroit,
as we're talking to Tommy Lairn about how better to

(20:00):
reach out to women, We've got a couple of clips
for you. This just happened. I want to make sure
that we play it for you. First, Trump introduces Tulsi
and let's go ahead. Let me make sure that I
get this, get this right. Cut twenty seven. Here is
Trump introducing Tulci Gabbert.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
And today I'm honored to officially welcome another true American patriot.
A seventeen year veteran of the Hawaii Army National Guard,
a four term Democrat congresswoman, very very popular, the former
vice chair of the National Democratic Party, and a twenty
twenty Democrat candidate for the United States presidency. You know,

(20:41):
she was a very good candidate. Every time she ran,
she was good, she did well. She decided to leave
she couldn't take it anymore. But she's very special. And
I didn't know this, but she was a lieutenant colonel.
That's not bad. Lieutenant colonel, not bad. I didn't know that,
you know, I just found out. I said, put it down.
You gotta put that down. That's bigger. That's better than

(21:03):
all the other stuff I read. But no, she's a
special person. She's got great common sense, great spirit. She
loves our country, and she loves the people in this room.
Tulsea Gabbard Tulsea.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Plase, Okay, the introduction from Trump there, and then Tulsi
comes out and gives an endorsement. Here is Tulsa Gabbard,
former Democrat contender for President of the United States, former
four term congresswoman from Hawaii, Tulsa Gabbard endorsing President Trump

(21:35):
over Kamala Harris.

Speaker 6 (21:37):
He exercised the courage that we expect from our commander
in chief in exhausting all measures of diplomacy, having the
courage to meet with adversaries, dictators, allies and partners alike
in the pursuit of peace, seeing war as a last resort.
The truth is, as we head towards our decision as

(21:58):
a country. In November the same not be said about
Kamala Harris. In fact, the opposite is true, and we're
living through this reality today as this administration has us
facing multiple wars on multiple fronts and regions around the world,
and closer to the brink of nuclear war than we
ever have been before. This is one of the main

(22:19):
reasons why I'm committed to doing all that I can
to send President Trump back to the White House where
he can once again serve us as our commander in chief.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Okay, so this is significant. I am huge.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
I talked to start the show about Brian Kemp, the
Governor of Georgia, coming together with Trump and putting Georgia
on lockdown, flipping it back from a red state from
a blue state to a red state, and OURFK Junior
on Friday, now bringing out Tulsa Gabbard on Monday and
having her endorse Trump. Remember Tulsi Gabbard really took it

(22:59):
to Kamala Harris in the twenty twenty presidential campaign. In fact,
can I get the crew to go grab the super
viral moment that kind of ended Kamala's campaign in twenty
twenty because everybody's kind of playing with kid gloves, and
Tulsi was like, uh huh, I'm just gonna go head
to head after Kamala Harris, and she actually attacked her

(23:21):
for lyeing about how she was handling prosecutions in California.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
She actually hit her from the left.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Now, I don't think that's the best way for Trump
to hit Kamala Harris. To me, you go after Kamala
Harris raising money in Minnesota to bail out the rioters,
the looters, the plunderers of Minneapolis in the wake of
the BLM protests. But Tulsi really socked it to Kamala.

(23:49):
And in the same way during the Republican debates, do
you remember Viveik and Nikki Hayley don't like each other.
Sometimes politicians disagree, and remember Nicky Haley called Vivek scum.
Sometimes politicians disagree and you can say, okay, that's a
policy disagreement. But these guys or these gals may really

(24:10):
kind of get along. Sometimes the nasty seeps through and
you can tell who really actually don't like each other.
I don't think Tulsia Gabbard likes Kamala Harris at all.
I think she sees her as a fraud and I
think Tulsa Gabbert probably would have endorsed Trump against Joe
Biden as well. But I think there's an eagerness to

(24:33):
this endorsement because she really sees Kamala Harris as a
fraudulent leader.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
And I think that Tulsi.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Will go out and be an attack dog on Kamala
Harris in an effective manner. And frankly, I don't like
to play identity politics, but I think that a woman
attacking Kamala makes, especially a minority woman, makes it way
harder for Comamala to argue and for her surrogates to argue, Oh,

(25:04):
that's just racism and sexism. I don't buy it in
the first place, but there are a lot of people
at the Washington Post, you guys know this, at the
New York Times, ABC, NBCCBS, MSNBC, CNN that as soon
as anything's negative is said about Kamala Harris, they'll allow
her to retreat into the surrogate argument of, oh, the

(25:27):
only reason that attack is happening is because of racism
and sexism. I think that Tulsi takes that away and
forces you to acknowledge the legitimacy of the attack because
Tulsi is also a minority woman, a younger minority woman,
by the way, which we were talking about young women

(25:48):
having major issues as it pertains to supporting Trump compared
to Kamala I think that Tulsi really offers the opportunity
to go after Kamala Arris in a massive way and
land some body blows that might not otherwise be recognized
if Trump or jd Vance are the ones levying the attacks.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
I don't think it's fair. I don't think it's right.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
I think we should analyze whether somebody has a truth,
truthful and legitimate attack, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, any
of those things. But I do think the way the
modern media covers identity politics related issues that this has
the potential to really register in a profound way. I

(26:34):
don't think it's another big coup for Trump, and I
also think it makes it harder to argue, Oh, Trump
is this right wing zelate? Well, wait a minute, he's
accepting RFK Junior's endorsement. Are the Kennedys notorious for endorsing
right wing zelots. To my knowledge, Tulsea Gabbard has never

(26:58):
endorsed a Republican caned it before to me. This speaks
to Trump's appeal in the middle part of the country
for people out there who just feel like things are
not going well in the country and are going to
make economy, border crime EBC, as I call it, based decisions.
I think this is a big coup. I think is
a great addition for Trump as we get ready for

(27:21):
that September tenth debate. Speaking of the September tenth debate,
there's a fight going on right now over some of
the parameters of that debate. I'll tell you the absolute
latest on that. Also close out the Monday edition of
the program with some of your calls eight hundred and
two two eight eight two.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
Again major breaking news in Detroit.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Tulsea Gabbard has just come out and endorsed Donald Trump
for president, joining RFK from Friday the Brian Kemp Union
as well. Trump is stringing together several good days as
we get ready for the official for many people start
of the political season, which is right after Labor Day,
when summer is officially over. Look those rain gutters along

(28:04):
the roofline of your home, they don't stay clean for long.
I mentioned I got three boys in my backyard that
actually end up being a lot of whiffleballs inside of
my rain gutters piles up. We had a flood during
one of the few it doesn't happen that often winter
storms that we got in Nashville. As the ice started
to melt, I was looking up in the gutters. I said,

(28:25):
why in the world is all of the water coming
down at this particular area. What's causing it all to
pool right there? Wiffleballs? I had to get out on
the roof. I had to climb along the roof get
the wiffle balls, which were frozen in ice, out of
our gutters so that the water as the ice was melting,
was able to come down the usual gutters. Now a

(28:48):
lot of people out there as we get ready for fall,
there's going to be a lot of leaves in your gutters.
Going to get on that ladder, have to climb up, risky.
How many times you get on that ladder, You take
a few steps, You're like, man, I'm pretty high up.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
I'll tell you.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
When I was on the roof of my house out
there trying to get woofleballs out of the gutter, I
was thinking, yeah, I don't want to lose my balance here.

Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. He calls
him in great by the way today focusing on young
voters discussing the huge gender gap. Love that Tulci Gabbard

(30:24):
comes out in the third hour as an official endorsement
of Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
I love that he, in theory is going to put
her out on.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
The road as a surrogate. We'll try to get her
on this week. By the way, also gonna get RFK
Junior on as well soon. I still have to say it.
I think Nicky Haley could help.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
I really do think having a joint event with.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Nicky Haley and having Nicky Haley endorse Donald Trump could
make a real difference with suburban female voters in this country.
And we are at winning season right now. If you're
complaining about anybody supporting Trump, you are not doing your
damnedest to get Trump elected. There may be people that

(31:10):
you disagree with on a variety of different perspectives. If
they come out and support Trump, they are on your team.
You ever been on a sporting team, I bet almost
all of you have where there's a total jerk on
your team that just gets under the skin of opponents,
and when you're practicing before the season starts, he gets

(31:34):
under the skin of everybody on your team too. Could
be a guy or a girl. Every single person who's
ever played sports knows this feeling tot you're busting your ass.
Somebody is a jerk on the team. Sometimes you have
to separate your own team from fighting with this guy.
And then the season starts and you got that guy's

(31:57):
back because he's on your side.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
This is that time.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
This is the time where the guy that might have
droven you crazy when the practice season was going on,
when primaries were taking place, all of a sudden, it's
go time.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
The actual season.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Is here, and you got to get those people on
your side and you got to have their back. That's
where we are right now. I wanted to play this
and we're going to take a couple of calls. Here
is Tulsi going after Kamala in a viral moment in
the twenty twenty Democrat primary. Now again, she hit her
from the left on the fact that she had prosecuted

(32:39):
a lot of black men, I think in particular for
nonviolent drug offenses. I don't think this is a super
valid way for Trump to hit Kamala, but I do
think that Tulsi could hit her here because she's a
former Democrat.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Listen to this.

Speaker 6 (32:55):
The bottom line is Senator Harris. When you were in
a position to make a difference in an impact in
these people's lives, you did not. And worse yet, in
the case of those who were on death row, innocent people,
you actually blocked evidence from being revealed that would have
freed them until you were forced to do so. There
is no excuse for that. And the people who suffered

(33:16):
under your reign as prosecutor, oh, you owe them an apology.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
So that was Tulsi coming after Kamala from the left
during the twenty twenty Democrat presidential debates. Now Tulsi, if
you just missed it in the last few minutes, has
taken the stage and officially endorsed Donald Trump. We got
a couple of callers who went a weigh in. Let's
start here, David in California, you're twenty four years old.

(33:44):
What are you seeing and hearing from people your age
as the presidential campaign rolls on?

Speaker 7 (33:51):
So I'm actually seeing a very interesting thing where so
Republicans have basically had to write off the well not
write off, but they've had to looked little less at
the black, black, and Latino vote. But for men who
are black and Latino, there's a lot more hype for
Trump then gets recorded. I think, yeah, whether that's just
silent or whether it just gets sucked on the rug.

(34:13):
But you know, I think if Trump leans on like
the young male minority vote a little bit more, she
can make some dangerous introads into certain states. And I
think that's that's hopefully something he kind of leans on
a little bit further along than the race.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Thank you for the call. I agree completely. I've got
a stake bet with Buck. Buck will be back on
Tuesday of next week. He's out for this week with
his family. Be back on Tuesday, right after Labor Day.
I think Trump can get twenty five percent of the
black mail vote. And if you actually break down the
blackmail vote, it's not older blackmail voters that Trump's getting.

(34:51):
People who are in their sixties, the seventies, their eighties.
They are longtime Democrat voters, back to the civil rights
movement in many cases. But the youngest guys, those forty
and younger, it's very close to fifty to fifty, even
with Trump ahead among some black and Hispanic voters. When

(35:12):
you look at younger voters again, I talked about Trump's.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Winning eighteen to twenty nine year old men.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
That never happens, never happens that a Republican candidate does
that well with young male voters. I think there's a
lot of reasons, but again, the challenge is on the
female voter side of the ledger, which is what Stephanie
in upstate New York is talking about. Hello, hey Stephanie,

(35:37):
you got a couple of twenty somethings.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
You said, Yes, I have two daughters, twenty seven, twenty five.
I actually they're they lean Democrat. I actually got them
to start following Telsea Gabbicks back in the twenty twenty election.
My girls live in Montana and the Seattle area, and

(36:03):
I'm convincing them to vote for Trump hopefully.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
So what's your primary pitch? We got a quick turn here,
We only got like a minute left. What's your primary pitch?
As a mom of a twenty seven and a twenty
five year old two girls.

Speaker 4 (36:20):
Well, a lot of twenty something girls listen to podcasts.
They should listen to Tulsi's podcast. I actually sent my
girls the podcast that Trump did with Coo Vaughn.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Yeah, made a little.

Speaker 4 (36:36):
Impression on them. And actually, my daughter that lives in Montana,
she has a friend that works on the Republican senator
campaign race out there, and she's helping me convince her too.

Speaker 2 (36:52):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
By the way, I'm glad you mentioned that Tim Sheehey
up now in Montana can flip control of the Senate.
Make sure you don't overlooked at Montana
