Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in our number two Clay Travis buck Sexton Show.
Appreciate all of you hanging out with us as we
are rolling through six days.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Until the election. Go vote, Go vote, Go vote.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
And Kamala had her final big address from the Ellipse.
Joe Biden was watching it from the basement of the
White House and doing an interview with Latino about comments
that were made during the Madison Square Garden rally by
a roast comedian and the media. Buck has tried to

(00:37):
turn this roast comedian comments, particularly about Puerto Rico, into
a major, huge, massive story, and Biden managed to step
all over that and actually call Trump supporters garbage, which
is far worse than anything that a comedian making jokes did.

(00:58):
But I think it's really important to illustrate how dishonest
the media is by playing some of their reactions to
Tony Hinchcliffe, who is a comedian again, a comedian who
does roast, by playing exactly what they said about a joke.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I was basically calling Puerto Ricans trash.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
The most repulsive racial jokes about Latino's disgusting and hateful.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
So incredibly crude, frankly.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Just too x rated to play here, extremely wild so
called jokes. Okay, So, Buck, do you remember when it
was only a couple of weeks ago, Donald Trump did
the Al Smith Dinner and we played a ton of
the clips there and a huge part of the Al
Smith Dinner is that you roast the people there and

(01:54):
then you maybe even roast yourself. And the media didn't
attempt to treat those joke. They said, oh, they were crude,
or they were unacceptable or whatever, but they recognized that
they were funny and that it was very difficult to
attack Trump for roast comedy at a roast. Well, then
they tried to argue that a comedian making roast jokes

(02:16):
was in some way an insult to all Puerto Ricans
and reflected on Donald Trump, and it was unacceptable and
it was racist and vile. You just heard all of
them reacting to it. So now what they are saying,
and this is important. I want to read some of
these headlines the Washington Post. How do you think they're
covering the Biden garbage comment?

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Buck?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Here is the headline, did Biden call Trumps supporters garbage?
It comes down to an apostrophe. This is their headline.
Republicans have long strained subheading for a new Hillary Clinton
deplorables moment. But Biden's defense is entirely plausible, trying to

(03:00):
argue that he didn't call Trump supporter's garbage that he
said supporter apostrophe s garbage and I saw this. This
is a funny tweet from uh. I want to make
sure I get this right. But Charles Spearing tweeted, I
walked into the kitchen this morning and said, the only

(03:23):
garbage I see is my kids, and when they started crying,
I tried to explain that there was an apostrophe. It's
very funny, but we all heard the audio, and can
we play that audio one more time? Because I think
the way the media covers this is as clear of
an indication of their bias and their desperate attempts to

(03:47):
cover for Kamala and Biden.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
No matter what.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Here is what Biden said in the Vote Latino interview,
which is impossible to miss.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
Or Puerto Rico, where I'm in my home state of Delaware.
They're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see
floating down there is his supporters. His his demonizational scene
is unconstable and it's not American.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
I mean, it's not even difficult. Buck.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Now, they changed the official White House transcript and they
said Buck, which I love this. We went back and
asked him what he was trying to say, so we
changed the transcript, which is the exact opposite of a transcript.
The transcript is supposed to transcribe. That's what it is,
what you actually say, not what you meant to say.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
You know, this is also such a tempest in a
teapot situation, mountain out of a mole hill, you know,
pick your metaphor. This is absurd that we are a
few days away from election day, fifty million people, I
believe clays over that number of votes, fifty two million,

(04:52):
thank you. Fifty two million have voted so far. And
we're talking about whether or not Joe Biden, who just
to throw things, Joe Biden who said I'm gonna put
y'all back in chains if a Republican is president. Joe Biden,
who referred to a guy as a dog faced pony
soldier and called some guy fat to his face when

(05:13):
he was asked a question when he was running back
in twenty twenty. Yeah, he would never call Trump supporters garbage.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
We know they're lying.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
We know it's absurd, but Clay I see this as
the fundamental point of all of this, or what's really
at issue. Kamala and the apparatus are trying to run
on the transparent and absurd lie that Kamala Harris will
work across the aisle, cares about what Republicans think, has

(05:42):
ideas that Republicans would even consider signing on for and
would be an effective, almost bipartisan presidency. That is completely bonkers.
There is no evidence for that whatsoever. Kamala Harris is
the person who believed Jesse Smolette, which means she's a moron.

(06:03):
By the way, Kamala Harris is the person who tried
to defame and destroy Brett Cavanaugh so that God forbid,
the law is actually a serious thing in this country
and abortion isn't some made up constitutional right anymore. She
is a vicious partisan. She raised money for the rioters

(06:23):
of Minneapolis during BLM two point zero, publicly in her name,
raise money for the rioters, and she's going to be
a bipartisan unifier. They are trying to fool simpletons who
don't know anything about politics and what has happened the
last few years with a massive campaign of lies, and

(06:45):
I just think it's condescending and gross. And that's why
Joe Biden saying how they actually feel is such a
problem for them.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
No doubt.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
And Kamala hasn't been able to distance herself in any
way from Joe Biden.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
And ultimately it doesn't matter at all.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I don't believe what people are saying in this closing stretch.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
You got to get out and vote.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
We're at the turnout phase of the election and Republicans
are doing really, really well. Ryan Gardusky, who we are
sponsoring at Crocketcoffee dot com now because we do not
believe in cancel culture.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
But just one thing about that real quick. Just I
know we're talked before. This is one of the reasons
before in this company, so that people that have great
insights and are brilliant and are building their name and
building their content can can monetize and aren't going to
get canceled for nonsense. Okay, Ryan, Ryan Gardusky is a
former Democrat. He's gay, he's not you know, he's not
a big aid, he's not a racist. He's he's just

(07:48):
a very smart guy who does good political analysis and
got a little sick of being pushed around so much
by the lunatics on CNN, and he let a joke fly,
No big deal. We stand with him, and you should
stand with Crockett because that's how this whole ecosystem works.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
You and I now are fortunate to have this platform,
be able to talk to this many people every day.
I'm fortunate that I started out kick, but anybody who
has ever built a media career has had to get
to the point where you can be confident you can
make a living. And what they're trying to do is
cut people's legs out before they can get to the

(08:25):
place where they make a living.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
I mean, they did this. You don't hear you know,
Bannon got out of prison yesterday. We haven't even There's
so much we could get into about the new cycles.
Bannon just got out of prison, Clay. While they're whining,
the Democrats are whining.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Trump is going to lock up his political enemies.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Trump has never done that, and they have repeatedly. They
have locked up senior advisors, including Navarro and Bannon to
Donald Trump's first administration. Can you imagine if someone tried
to lock up like Axelrod or Valerie Jarrett or something
and it's not for a crime unrelated to power. It's

(09:01):
for the non crime of not violating executive privilege because
a congressional which Hunt Committee says so Clay, it is
in outrage what they are doing.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
No doubt.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
And Ryangerdusky Crockettcoffee dot com Fight back, go subscribe posted
this today Pennsylvania absentee ballot requests. The Democrat ballot request
for absentees buck as I speak to you today, is
seven hundred and thirty three thousand behind what they got

(09:36):
in twenty twenty. Let me repeat that, they are seven
hundred and thirty three thousand today behind what they got
in twenty twenty. Republicans are going to exceed the number
of absentee ballots that they retained in twenty twenty. This
is important because the only way Democrats can make up

(09:59):
this total is if they show up in person. This
is absentee mail ballot requests. They are going to have
to show up in seven hundred thousand ish numbers that
voted in twenty twenty via absentee ballots or mail in person.

(10:20):
I just don't think that's going to happen. I don't
think Democrats are going to show up with ID on
election day and make up for the deficit that they
have in absentee and mail in ballots Republicans. For people
out there who say, oh, well, this is just because
of COVID, Okay, maybe seven hundred thousand of them are
going to show up and vote in person. Republicans have

(10:43):
virtually the same numbers of absentee and mail in ballot
requests in twenty twenty and in twenty twenty four. So
my point on all this is this is a really
good time and we just have to keep adding on steam.
Everybody out there has to vote. But the trend lines

(11:03):
are all moving in Trump's direction when you look at
actual early vote numbers. And I'm looking at the numbers
as opposed to the polls now, because whatever the polls
can say whatever they want, I want to see the
raw data. We're up forty thousand votes in early voting
in Nevada. We're up about one hundred and fifty thousand
in early voting in Arizona. We're up right now in

(11:25):
North Carolina about forty thousand votes. All of these states
do Democrat Republican polls. And by the way, in Florida,
Trump is probably going to win Florida by double digits.
Based on the early voting numbers. He only won Florida
by three in twenty twenty. All of the trend lines
are great. Early voting numbers in Georgia are phenomenal. And

(11:49):
for people who are worried that somehow there aren't going
to be enough people showing up on election day, the
low propensity voter numbers favor Republicans. Just show up and vote.
Show up and vote, and the good guys are going
to win based on all the data that is out there.
But again, you have to show up and vote. All right,

(12:12):
I want to tell you guys, tomorrow we're gonna have

Two guys walk up to a mic.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
Anything goes Clay, Travis and Buck Sex to find them
on the free iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Welcome back into Clay and Buck. We're going to be
diving in with our friend Carol Markois coming up here shortly,
so we shall discuss with her what's going on with
the Jewish vote in Florida and across the country. So
we're going to have that conversation with Carol Markwitz. Also, Clay.

(13:37):
You know, we talked a little bit about Shapiro and
what's going on there. Shapiro is a guy who I
think is already preparing for his twenty eight run. I
think he is cognizant of how things are going for
the Kamla campaign. Doesn't want to get too close because
it is probably gonna come down to Pennsylvania.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
We'll talk care about that. She also had this story.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
It's not getting very much attention, that there were some
ballots destroyed in Washington and Oregon and they there's something
about free Gaza and the police are like, we don't
know what the motive is.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
I'm like, well, I'm pretty sure it's not Trump.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Voters if the message of the ballot destroyers is free Gaza.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
So we will talk to her about that here coming
up in just a second.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
I think that will be a worthy Oh and we've
also got Eric Hovedy in just a little bit. I
want to note that, you know, I watched last night.
I watched the rally, I watched everything's going on, and it's.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Kind of funny to be clay.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
They're so sensitive about about the Joe Biden garbage comment.
Is it possible that that it's worse to be called
garbage than to be called a Nazi?

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Is that really where we are?

Speaker 3 (14:54):
And jd Vance, who's doing a phenomenal job out there,
this is cut ten. Jade Vance is saying, you know, basically,
how dare you go out there and call us Nazis?

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Play this one?

Speaker 7 (15:06):
So my message s toa Kamala Harris is Why don't
you try persuading your fellow citizens. Why don't you try
talking about how you're.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Gonna lower grocery prices.

Speaker 7 (15:14):
Why don't you try talking about how you're gonna undo
your own disastrous border policies. Do not dare go in
front of the cameras and call your fellow citizens Nazis.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
If you want to lead.

Speaker 7 (15:25):
This country, act like a leader and stop insulting your
fellow citizens.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (15:32):
They're so testy about the Biden garbage comment.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Oh you didn't say it, he didn't say But they
just spent.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
The last well really the last I don't know how
many years now, but certainly the last few days calling
all Trump supporters Nazis?

Speaker 2 (15:45):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (15:46):
Like?

Speaker 2 (15:46):
How ah?

Speaker 3 (15:47):
I think being called the Nazi is worse than calling
somebody garbage? Is what you say about them if you
don't like them, at like a sports event they're rooting
for the other team, Like, hey, you garbage?

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Calling someone a Nazi? Yikes?

Speaker 1 (15:58):
I think they would probably try to distinguish and say,
I didn't call all Trump supporters Nazis. I just called
Trump a Nazi, or not all Trump supporters, just the
ones who went to Madison Square Garden are the Nazis?
Even in Hillary Clinton's basket of deplorables things, She's like, Oh,
it's only half the Trump supporters. I said, we're awful
human beings. To say that they're garbage. I think it

(16:23):
goes to what you said in the first hour, Buck.
It's one thing to rip a candidate to shreds, but
when you take the next step of going after his supporters,
I think a lot of people take.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
A step back and say, wait a minute. Look, let's
be honest.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
There are lots of people that I am good friends
with who are voting for Kamala Harris.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
True, I went to law school.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Trust me, there's lots of lawyers out there that I'm
buddies with that are voting for Kamala Harris. They're not garbage.
I think they're making a poor choice. I think they
are not paying as close of attention to the issues
as many of you are. I think that they are
responding emotionally to Trump.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
As opposed to logically.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
But I'm not going to end friendships over who somebody
votes for for president or Senate or governor. And I
think anybody out there who does is crazy. That's actually
what Democrats do to me, not what Republicans do.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Right.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
I was going to say they're the party of hysterical loans, Like,
we don't do this, right, I mean, that's not how
we roll. Let's get Mike in Berlin, Wisconsin's he's a
little concerned about how things are looking up there. You know, Mike,
we got houffdy on later. But what are you seeing
in your home state?

Speaker 4 (17:29):
Hello, this is Mike new Berlin.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
Okay, you have one minute, Mike, go for it.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
Okay. I would not underestimate that CNN poll. And here's
why you don't think you fully appreciate the power of
the Democrat voting machinery in Dane County, where they collect
votes in every floor of every student residence, they have
picnics in the park where they collect votes. And if
every red area, which is most of Wisconsin, doesn't get

(17:56):
everybody out to vote, they can manufacture a lot of
Olustantine County.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Look, I mean, that's why everybody's got to get out
and vote. What Ron Johnson won state of Wisconsin two
years ago by about twenty five twenty six thousand votes.
It Trump, according to the final tally, lost to Wisconsin
by about twenty thousand votes in twenty twenty. It's going
to be close. That's why I'm telling all of you

(18:24):
to go out and vote early. Democrats have a great
get out the vote machine. Republicans have to match it.
We have the better candidate, we have the better argument,
but we have to win. Wisconsin listeners, Michigan listeners, Pennsylvania listeners.
Kamala's got to sweep the big ten states. If you
guys show up, then she can't.

Speaker 3 (18:45):

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Joined now by Carol Marcowitz. You got a bunch to
get into with her New York.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Post columnist, Florida resident now mother of three, also part
of the Clay and Buck podcast network. Encourage all of
you to go listen to her and her podcast, but
we are happy to have her join us now. And Carol,
You've had a bunch of interesting stories and or thoughts
up recently, and the one I want to start with
is we've talked about this with you for a while,

(20:09):
how Jewish voters are going to respond in the twenty
twenty four election, and you have a new prediction I
saw where based on conversations you've been having, and clearly
one of the challenges in general with predicting anything is
almost everything is going to be anecdotal on some level
when you talk about your personal experiences no matter who

(20:30):
you are, because you can't have tens of thousands of
people that you're interacting with. But what are you picking
up on, Carol? When it comes to the Jewish vote.

Speaker 8 (20:38):
Hi, guys, so nice to be on with you. Well,
I've been pretty optimistic but kind of measured about it.
Trump got thirty percent of the Jewish vote in twenty twenty,
so I saw him going up to thirty eight percent,
which is a large jump. An eight percent jump is significant.
It's also tough with the Jewish vote because we're such
a small percentage of the population, under one percent of

(21:00):
the country or about a little over one actually, and
it's hard to measure because it relies on exit polls.
Somebody who's voting Republican for the first time might not
want to tell an exit poster the truth. So all
of that being said, I'm noticing that a lot of
very well known Jews are openly voting for Donald Trump,

(21:24):
even if they have been liberals in the past, And
then other prominent Jews are just not talking about it,
which is also significant because they would be exactly the
kind of people who would be talking about who they're
voting for in other elections. The fact that they're so
quiet really makes me feel like he might break the
forty percent barrier.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Carol, when you speak to and you know, you and
I share a lot of right wing Jewish friends, But
when you speak to her around Democrat left wing Jews
in this country, do they disagree with the notion that
there is substantial anti Semitism, that is that has sort

(22:05):
of protected and coddled within the Democrat party, or do
they just not care? There are other things that make
them still vote Democrat?

Speaker 2 (22:14):
You know what I mean? How does that?

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Yeah, how does that decision making process go based on
your conversations within the community.

Speaker 8 (22:21):
For a lot of these people, being a Democrat is
their first piece of identity, So even before being Jewish,
they relate to themselves as Democrats, and that's a tough
thing to break. Look, I'm a lifelong conservative. I wondered
to myself if I woke up on October seventh and
it was Republicans dancing in the streets and being excited

(22:42):
about Jews being murdered in Israel, what would I think?
What would I rethink in my life? And it would
require a full rethink it wouldn't just be like, oh,
you know, I'm going to switch my party allegiance on
this one issue. It ends up being everything, because it's
not just about Israel, right, It's about antisemitism in America.

(23:02):
It's about being able to protect yourself in America. So
suddenly your views on guns will have to change. It
leads to all these different issues that it takes time
for people to change on. And I think that a
lot of these people again consider themselves Democrats to their core,
and it is a tough jump for them to make.
I hope that more of them make it, and I'm

(23:24):
actually proud to see so many people just openly changing
their position. There's a prominent Jewish influencer, Lizzie Savetski. She's
taking a ton of hits, but she's being very openly
pro Trump. I think of previous elections. I don't know
for sure, but I think she voted all Democrats. And
for her to say, look, this matters to me. This

(23:45):
man has made me vote for him because of his
policies and because of his ideas, it is a big
significant change from the past.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
We're talking to Carol Marko.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
It's Carol, a story that has not been getting a
ton of attention, probably because of some of the details. Chicago,
a Orthodox Jewish man I believe was attacked by any
illegal immigrant, and the man was verily anti Semitic. It
wasn't a random act of violence. It was directly targeted

(24:16):
at him because he was Jewish. For our audience that
may not have heard about this, you've been breaking stories
on it.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
What should they know.

Speaker 8 (24:24):
So his name is Tod Muhammad Abdalhi and he shot
an Orthodox man who was on his way to synagogue
on Saturday. He shouted Akbar as he did it, which is,
you know, a very common thing that Muslim fundamentalists shout
as they're committing crimes and attacking people. The story that
I broke, and that isn't anywhere else right now, is

(24:47):
that this Abdhali man is an illegal immigrant. He crossed
our southern border a year and a half ago. I
have this from a very solid tipster, but it hasn't
been confirmed elsewhere. Nobody wants to confirm more than I do.
I hate breaking news, but here we have. That's you know,
that's the role I'm playing here. So I think why

(25:08):
it's being underplayed A It's in Chicago b It's a
attack that should be called a hate crime, but for
some reason it is not. And Cee, we're a few
days out from the election. To have another illegal immigrant
commit a crime like this would be bad for Kamala Harris.
So the media is downplaying it. The Chicago politicians are

(25:29):
downplaying it. Everybody's kind of muted on this. I think
if it was happening at a different time, it'd be
a much bigger story. But they're trying to protect Kamala
Harris from her bad policies. And so you have a
quiet story like.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
This, Carol. You may not have seen this yet.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Bill Malugin at Fox News and Griff Jenkins have also
now confirmed your breaking story. Excellent, And what he just
tweeted out a little bit ago was, per four law
enforcement sources, the sus charged with shooting a Jewish man
as he walked to a Chicago synagogue is a Mauritanian
illegal alien caught and released in Border Patrol San Diego,

(26:10):
California sector in March of twenty three. Again, this guy
shot walked up to an Orthodox Jew and shot him.
And so that story again, Bill Malugin has put that out,
and so your aspect of that story. Fox News has
also backed.

Speaker 8 (26:29):
It up excellent. I also I knew he was from
Northwest Africa, but I didn't have the country, so Mauritania
just looked it up. It is in the northwest, So
I'm glad.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
I got that right, Carol.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
We're also all over the story about the destroyed ballots
in Oregon and Washington and how does free Gaza play
into all of this.

Speaker 8 (26:51):
So the device to that were in the ballot machines
that were devised specifically to burn the ballots and not explode,
which is an interesting point. They were made with thermite
and they were planted in these drop off ballot boxes. Now,
the thing is that these drop off ballot boxes, to me,

(27:12):
they're in peril even without a fancy device. I don't
know why this has to be the case. I think
that we should go back to a system where we
vote in a secure location and those ballots are secured.
These people who had their ballots burned aren't even going
to know whether or not they voted or not. And
these devices had Freegaza written on it. That story was

(27:35):
confirmed yesterday, and you know it's these are blue states,
these aren't swing states. So the idea that these were
going to be maga people burning these ballots didn't make
a lot of sense.

Speaker 7 (27:48):
Anyway.

Speaker 8 (27:48):
It feels very Antifa, very causing chaos, and the free
Gaza graffiti on the devices really adds to that impression.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Carol, have you voted early? We're now six days out.
Do you have a strong read again on what you
think is likely to happen in the election.

Speaker 8 (28:10):
I did vote early. Day one. I voted for Donald Trump.
I feel very good about my vote. I thought he
absolutely earned it, and I couldn't wait to vote, so
day one I went out there and I did it.
I'm feeling optimistic. I am somewhat of a superstitious I
was born in Russia, so I have a very superstitious gene.

(28:31):
I don't talk about it too much that I think
I'm feeling good about it. I think that he has
positioned very well to win. I hope their ground game
matches kind of the momentum that we're seeing around the country,
because that's really what it all comes down to. Getting
your voters to the polls is the whole ballgame. And
as long as they have their ground game really set
for Tuesday, and I think for this early voting numbers

(28:53):
are really going his way. I think we're going to
have a victory on election night.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
I hope that you are.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
What else would you tell people out there about the
podcast and how to follow you well?

Speaker 8 (29:05):
I have two podcasts on the Clay Travis and Buck
Sexton podcast network. I have the Carol Markowitz Show where
I ask political people non political questions. And I have
the podcast that I co hosted Mary Katherine Ham Normally,
where we break down the news of the day Normally
out Tuesdays and Thursdays, Carol Markowitz Shows out Mondays and Thursdays.

(29:25):
Love being on your network. It's been an amazing year.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
And by the way, Ali says she loves normally And
I know there are a lot of moms out there
that listen to this show that may feel like their
normal lives are not talked about very frequently. And I
think you and Mary Catherine Ham are being doing a
fantastic job of connecting with many of those people out
there that might not have an audience that they feel
like connects with them otherwise.

Speaker 8 (29:49):
Thanks so much. That's what we're trying to do here.
We're trying to have the normal perspective for normal people.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
What are your kids going to be for Halloween? By
the way, Tomorrow's Halloween? They are Are they gung ho
about this? Mine are, Yeah, it's it's gonna be a
big deal.

Speaker 8 (30:05):
So my youngest is going to be a caveman because
he likes to have no shirt on, and that's what
Florida Halloween is usually that. Yes, my middle son is
going to be screwed McDuck. He likes to have quirky costumes.
Nobody knows what that's good, that's great, not bad. And
my teenager, I think she's gonna wear a unicorn horn
and and pretend not to enjoy it. Took her treating

(30:27):
while her and her friends really actually like it quite
a bit.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
No doubt you'll have a good time down there. I
know the weather's going to be great weather. It's gonna
be great here. I can't wait.

Speaker 8 (30:35):
Big Halloween guy, excellent, what are you going to be?

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Laura and I were Ferris Mueller and Sloan Peterson. So
for anybody out there that watched Ferris Mueller's Day Off,
I was. I think it came off pretty well. And
we had a Halloween party on Friday, had a great
time and I'll be dressed up I think tomorrow for
some of the shows that I'm doing, and then to
help give out trigger treating and uh and watch walk

(31:00):
Around with my ten year old.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
So that's the plan here.

Speaker 8 (31:03):
Excellent, have a great Halloween.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
Hey you too, Carol, and we'll talk to you again soon.
Keep up a good work on the podcast and more. Look,
if you're out there, maybe you're gonna have a late
night on Halloween. I think a lot of you probably are.
And then maybe you have an early turn on Friday,
get into the office, chasing around kids or grandkids on Halloween.
Maybe you're just gonna stay up late, sitting on the

(31:26):
front porch giving out trigg or treats. Maybe you're watching
some of the World Series late at night. Maybe you're
staying up late for a lot of these college football
games that go all hours. Maybe you're just dragging a
little bit because you've been working hard through the election season.

your life. That is what Chalk does. C Choq is

Fight it in the Clay and Buck podcast feed on
the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
All right, welcome back into Play and Buck. We're gonna
take some of your calls v I emails coming up
here in the next hour of the program. And I
cannot believe we are just a few days away from
the big day. We're looking at all of the data,
all the numbers. Clay, I'll hit everyone with this as
we're going to return to our our top of mind conversation,
which is the election. Donald Trump has responded to the

(33:37):
Trump voters are garbage comment. We'll bring that to you
here in just a few minutes. I think you're definitely
gonna want to hear that Trump. Trump does not like
when his supporters are called garbage. I can tell you
probably going to be a little upset about it, but
we have that to dive into. I thought this was
interesting though. Clay Elon Musk was sharing this on x

(33:57):
which is his platform. Republicans take the lead in New
Jersey in person early voting GOP at one hundred and
forty four thousand, Democrat at one hundred and thirty nine
thousand last night. Now that doesn't include mail in ballots,
and when you include the mail in ballots, Democrats are ahead.
But I do think that it's more it's another data

(34:18):
point for Republicans have shifted strategy. People get it in person.
Early voting is the way to do this where it's legal.
This is what you do, and it's legal, you know,
in a vast majority of state. So let me hit
you with some of that data, buck because I just
pulled it up. Arizona Republicans right now have one hundred

(34:42):
and twenty nine thousand ballot advantage. North Carolina Republicans have
a forty two thousand ballot advantage. Nevada Republicans have a
forty two thousand ballot advantage. And by the way, in Nevada,
at this exact point last one election cycle, Republicans had

(35:02):
a forty I mean, Democrats had a forty seven thousand
ballot advantage.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
So they've completely flipped that. Again, we want to sprint
through the finish line. But a lot of the situation
now is Republicans aren't going to have to necessarily make
up hundreds of thousands of vote deficit. You guys have
gotten out. These are sometimes low propensity voters, and in theory,

(35:26):
this is going to allow the election day targeting to
be even more refined, even more targeted than it otherwise
would be. So the analogy I would use is we're winning.
It's halftime. You go in, you come back out, and
you don't allow them an opportunity to get back in
the game. You go on and dominate it. We're sitting

(35:48):
here six days out. I hope all of you are
going to go get your election votes in as early
as possible. Again for this targeting over the weekend phase.
But my goodness, there is a lot of reason for
great momentum. Keep powering through. It's looking good, but we
got to stay on it. And I'm just going to
say this. We are getting a lot of emails, Clay,

(36:12):
a lot of emails about the concerns about we'll just
say Shenanigans, because you know, nobody wants to get sued.
So what we have concerns about the Shenanigans. And to
the Shenanigans concerns, we say this, We're all aware. The
GOP is aware. Chairman Watley, for example, just you see this,
he's already bringing suit with the RNC in Pennsylvania because

(36:34):
some people say that they were turned away for early voting.
This is a different situation than twenty twenty. There's no
COVID for Democrats to hide behind. I'm not saying no
shenanigans will happen. I'm just saying they're not catching the
GOP napping this time. We're not going to be asleep
at the wheel this time. So I feel good about
where things are, even with shenanigans. My suggestion here at

(36:58):
this point is, instead of emailing us about shenanigans, find
three or four people and get them to the polls
to vote Trump and to vote for the Senate and
to vote Republican down ballot. Instead of sitting around being frustrated,
take action. Get out the vote. It's winning time. Get
votes out yours and others. Get people to the polls.

(37:20):
Make sure that you are doing whatever you can. We'll
be back. We'll give you the absolute latest, and we'll
head up to Wisconsin to find out what's happening on
the ground. From Eric Comdy all that more.
