Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome Back.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
In Hour number two Thursday edition, Clay Travis buck Sexton
Show still unpacking what exactly we learned from the twenty
twenty four election. Now that Nevada and Arizona have been
called for Trump three hundred and twelve electoral votes landslide.
That is the biggest electoral majority for a Republican candidate,

(00:25):
as well as the popular vote since George H. W.
Bush in nineteen eighty eight against Michael Dukakis. It is
an extraordinary day. I'm still smiling walking on air. Many
of you have been reaching out to us talking about
how much Rush would have loved this, and we know
that he is enjoying it looking down from above, as

(00:49):
many of your friends and family who might not still
be here are doing as well. Just an absolute red
wave tsunami that swept across the entire nation.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Every state got redder.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
And that's despite the fact that Kamala Harris spent a
billion dollars more to a large extent on her campaign,
plus all the propaganda media in her favor.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
But Buck, I'm diving into this.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I want to hit you with some numbers because I
haven't seen anybody actually look at how close this was
to Kamala Harris winning the electoral College even though she
lost the popular vote.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
And this matters.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Because going forward, I want us all to enjoy this
race and this win, but I also want us to
recognize how close it actually was. Okay, so listen to this. Wisconsin.
Trump won Wisconsin by thirty thousand votes total. Now Biden

(01:51):
won Wisconsin by twenty thousand votes total. Our good friend
Ron Johnson talks about it. There's not much margin in Wisconsin,
and Eric Hovdy unfortunately is going to lose Wisconsin by
about thirty thousand votes.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Buck.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
He ran a hell of a campaign, But that's how
close this margin is. Every one of you really truly
matters in a consequential level all over the country when
it comes to Congress, when it comes to Senate, when
it comes to the elections, everywhere, but in the presidential race, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania,

(02:25):
and Michigan have outsize influence. So Trump wins Wisconsin by
thirty thousand votes. Pennsylvania Trump won by one hundred and
thirty thousand votes. Our friend Dave McCormick won by about
thirty thousand votes. And there's a lot of media out
there that listen, call the damn race. What are they
waiting for?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I was going to say they haven't called it yet.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
No, No, I don't know what they're waiting for. That
needs to get called. They need to stop doing the Hey,
let's see if we can shake the bushes and find
more votes. He's up thirty thousand votes, he has one
call it. I don't understand what's going on there. Trump
won by one hundred and thirty thousand. McCormick won by

(03:08):
thirty thousand. Michigan. Trump won by eighty two thousand votes. Okay,
that if my math is right, and my math is
not always right, because I'm pretty good at the verbal side,
not always great at the math side. That means Trump
won by two hundred and forty two thousand votes out
of one hundred and fifty million cast. Because if Kamala

(03:31):
had won, Look if one hundred and twenty one thousand
of you changed your mind in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan
and had voted the other way, Kamala would be the
president elect right now. So I want to talk about
how great it is that we won, but I also
want to talk about how as landslide of a win

(03:55):
as this was it still is right there in the margin,
and so going forward, we won, but my goodness, we
should not be cocky. Got to do a great job
in twenty four to bucks point the twenty twenty eight
presidential election.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I know we're enjoying.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
This is going to kick into ernest by twenty twenty seven,
and Democrats are going to be licking their wounds and
they're going to be trying to come back finding a
way to win. Trump is not going to be an incumbent.
It's going to be a wide open election.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
And when you.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Actually look at the data, as much as we love
the red what I call the Trump Wall going up,
he's now won all three of those states, two out
of the three elections. This is still a very much
in the margin race. And all of you who busted
your asses in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan, we got across
the finish line, thank the Lord, but there was not

(04:47):
a huge margin there.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
This is why we can spike the football this week,
and I think that they deserve it. I'm usually one
for sportsmanship, and of course we're just rhetorically having fun here,
right and you know, be nice to your sad Democrat
neighbors and you know, don't don't push it into their face.
But this is we're talking here, we're family. We can
have a little fun with this one. And they deserve

(05:09):
it because of what they've done to Trump and what
they've said about Trump voters. And I have no I
feel no two ways about them.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Men.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
All that said, we're a fifty one to forty nine
country at best right now. Okay, so this isn't it's
not gonna last long if we don't get things done.
To me Clay, the greatest things that have opened up now,
one is the defeat of the machine in its get
Trump at all costs mission. I think that's absolutely essential

(05:41):
because if law fair became the norm, and it would
have if it had been successful against Trump, oh, then
elections don't matter. If they're just going to indict anyone
who's a threat to the system and lock them up
or try to lock them up, then having people count
votes is absurd. Go look at any dictator or any
actual authoritarian regime anywhere in the world. What is the

(06:02):
one thing that can't allow people to gather public support
and power out in the open. They lock them up. Okay,
So lawfair is the end of the whole thing. This
was a defeat of lawfair by Trump. Now it's also
the adults are going to be in charge, and there's
the possibility to I think brought in the Trump coalition

(06:24):
and do great things that strengthen not just the country,
but also strengthen the Republican Party around with it. Essentially, Clay, now,
we've got to show the goods right now. We have
to actually get policies enacted and through that a solid
majority of the American people find to be a reason
to vote Republican. And that's where, you know, that's the

(06:47):
next phase. Because there's no restling on Laurels here. You
don't have to send us the emails about you know, well,
we got to get ready for the midterms. We know
it's a fifty to fifty country. Really Trump made it,
you know, fifty two forty eight this time. But who
knows what the future is going to be. But there
are those issues. I mean, Clay, you and I were
talking about the most effective here you tell everyone I
thought this was fascinating analysis. The most effective ad Trump

(07:09):
ran was on an eighty twenty issue.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
We look, this is one that I will say I
have seen move the needle in a massive way for
OutKick and I never would have thought this would turn
into an issue. The idea buck that we're even having
conversations about the Democrat Party having embraced the concept of
men pretending to be women should be able to win

(07:35):
women's championships. They've gone so far far pro trans that
the vast majority of Americans just looks at it and
says this is bonkers. The single most effective ad, according
to the New York Times, that was run during the.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Twenty twenty four election.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
If you're a football fan, a lot of you saw
it getting run over and over and over again every
time I watched an NFL game, every time I watched
a college football game, it was the we are for.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
That Democrats. Let me let me make sure I get
it right.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Kamala is for they them, President Trump is for you.
Broke through in a stunning way. It ranked, and I'm
reading from the New York Times article. The ad ranked
as one of the Trump team's most effective thirty second spots.
Missus Harris, leading Super PAC, says it shifted the race

(08:34):
two point seven percentage points in Trump's favor after viewers worked.
And here is more from the New York Times article
about that ad and how effective it was. The anti
trans ads cut to the core of the Trump argument
that Missus Harris was dangerously liberal, the exact vulnerability that

(08:55):
her campaign was most worried about. And here it continues
buck The ads were effective with black and Latino men,
according to the Trump team, but also with moderate suburban
white women who might be concerned about transgender athletes in girls'
sports and listen to this, Democrats struggled to respond. At

(09:16):
one point, former President Bill Clinton, who by the way,
big football fan. I bet he just saw these ads
watching football, told an associate, we have to answer it
and say we won't do it. Clinton even raised the
issue in conversations with the campaign. He was told by
Kamalist people that Trump ads weren't necessarily having an impact,

(09:38):
according to two people familiar with his conversations.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
So, and this is what the left is having to
reckon with. The Democrats are having to reckon with right now.
It became Democrat party orthodoxy that men can get pregnant,
Democrat party orthodoxy that a biological man should be able
to win a women's gold medal in the Olympics or

(10:03):
play in a women's professional athletic League, such that it
was the expectation of the base and the apparatus that
all Democrats must affirm that right. I mean this is
it became an article of faith, even if you didn't
believe it. As a Democrat, you were expected who's who
has This is what I tried to get out, by
the way in the Bill Marshaw.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
And then they're like they're yelling at me.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
But I said that you won't get a Democrat to
come on TV and say only women can get pregnant.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
They will not do it.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
The point here isn't that it's about transissues alone, although
that's a part of this clay. The real point is
the Democrats, as a point of party orthodoxy, embraced insanity,
embraced untruth, anti truth, embraced lies, mandatory lies. And I
think for normal people that's really unsettling. And you can't

(10:51):
tell people that you're this great, moderate, caring party if
you're going to say insane stuff like a two hundred
and thirty pound dude smash such a volleyball into some woman's.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Face because he thinks he's a chick and breaking her
nose is okay.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Normal men, even a political or not particularly interested in politics. Men,
normal men hear that crap and they say, you're insane.
And the Democrat Party mandates that insanity. And they paid
a price.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
And look, I run out Kick sold it a few
years ago to Fox. But Buck, what does it say
that OutKick is the only sports centric website out there,
the only sports centric media company that actually is willing
to take the public position men pretending to be women
shouldn't be in women's sports. It's a sign of how

(11:42):
captured even something like sports media is by Democrat orthodoxy
talking points. Because most of the men who work at
those companies ESPN, CBS, NBC and all these different sports
companies know. And I have to be careful not to
curse how much bs this is. But we were talking
about this. There is a mind virus that has taken

(12:04):
over much of the Democrat Party, and even when people
recognize it, it's like criticizing the dear leader. You aren't
willing to break with orthodoxy. Look, there are some things
that Republicans are gonna end up doing that You and
I might come on and say, hey, you know what,
I don't think that's necessarily the best move, because free
speech is alive in the Republican Party doesn't exist in

(12:25):
the Democrat Party. They have terrified and cowed so many
people who know better into arguing for things that are
fundamentally untrue that they've opened an incredible opportunity to speak
to audience that otherwise might not be open to Republican
arguments through the prism of men competing in women's sports
or men can get pregnant. I mean, this is crazy

(12:48):
town talk, but that ad Trump is for you, Kamalis
for they them may well have won him the presidency.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
I know, totally A student now is a totally agree
just laughing because we got to play this thing that
we're you and I have been sending back and forth.
There's someone and look there's a person who's a self
described political analyst.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
We're just gonna you guys, you know what, You've got
to hear this. Okay, this was from election day at
five pm. We need to we need to play it.
We need to play it. We come back.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, I don't through. Yeah, Okay,
you're you're killing it. I didn't want us to blow through.
Ah a segment here, play this. You're gonna love this bucket.
Finish your teas because it is an ideal one. Thank you, Clay. Yes,
we're gonna come back on the other side of this brick,
and you will. You've just got to hear this whole thing.
It's I mean, you will hear it, and you will giggle,

(13:41):
and it's all in good fun. Although I don't think
the analyst finds it very funny, but we will all
find it very funny. Trust me all right now into
something serious because as you know, the issue of life
is front and center in our politics, as in the
pro life community's mission of saving as many lives as possible.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Democrats went all in on abortion. Now they didn't get
their way in the election, but there are still so
many states where abortions are happening at a tragic pace,
day in and day out. What can we do right
now to help save lives? You already voted right well,
you're not going to wait four years or even two
years to try to support life. You could support life today.

(14:20):
You can take action right now. That's where the Preborn
Network of Clinics comes in. Preborn provides all kinds of
love and support and care to expectant mothers who are
making that choice between whether to give life to their
baby or choose the other path. And once they introduce
them to that baby via ultrasound, the odds are overwhelming

(14:40):
that that mom is going to choose life, and then
Preborn will help that mom for two years after the
baby's born to make sure they're up, up and going
and food and medicine and whatever they can give them
that will be helpful. It's really amazing work that they do.
It's a great organization and they entirely rely on donations
from you the pro life community. An ultrasound cost Preborn

(15:02):
twenty eight dollars, So if you can donate twenty eight dollars,
you would be sponsoring an ultrasound for a mom today
or maybe tomorrow. If you can sponsor five ultrasounds, that
would be one hundred and forty dollars. All of this
goes toward their mission of saving babies lives. Using your
cell phone, dial pound two five zero and say baby.
That's pound two five zero, Say baby, or go to

(15:24):
preborn dot com, slash buck, Preborn dot com slash b
u c K sponsored by Preborn.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
Stories are freedom stories of America, inspirational stories that you
unite us all each day, spend time with Clay and
find them on the free iHeartRadio app or wherever you
get your podcasts.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show. All Right,
amazing tease as we went to break in the last segment,
you are going to love this. What is this woman's name, Buck,
I don't want to name her like she's a she's
a left wing political analysts. Supposedly she was going out
to buy alcohol to celebrate Kamala Harris's win. She recorded

(16:08):
a video about lecturing a Trump supporter she saw.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
This is amazing. Just kick your feet up and enjoy.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
We're closing in on almost five pm Eastern time, and
I've been trucking everything that's been going on across the
country today. And my most important encounter was when I
went out to get my champagne. I was talking to
the guy in the store, of course, asking him did

(16:35):
he vote, and he said he did early voting, and
he asked me if I early voted, and he asked me,
you know why I was getting the champagne, and I said,
because I'm going to be toasting Madam President tonight. And
he just looked at me with kind of like a
smirk on his face, and I said, you know she's
she's going to win this, right He said, oh, well,
it's very very close, and I said, no, it's not.

Speaker 6 (16:58):
Says, well, what do you mean.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
I said, no, it's not. The women of America are
making their voices heard. Reproductive rights is what it all
comes down to, and the women are voting in numbers
relative to men that are unbelievable. She's won this. And
I said to him, she's going to take every one
of the swing states plus O plus Iowa. And he said, oh,
but the numbers are so close. I said, I'm a

(17:20):
political analyst. I'm telling you right now, the numbers are there.
She's taking this election that I've said to him, you
realize And he didn't tell me who he voted for,
but of course I knew, and I said, you do
realize you wasted your vote, right, And I didn't care.
I've walked out with my bottle of champagne and happily

(17:41):
walked home.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
Bye bye.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
This may be my favorite clip that we have ever
played in the history of the show. And I want
to hear from that liquor store guy, if you happen
to be listening to us right now and you remember
that in and you sold that bottle of champagne. I
would love to hear from the Trump voter who got
laughed at and let him react that Cliff is amazing.

(18:09):
It's up at Clayanbuck dot com. I'm gonna tweet it
out right now. I can't wait to share that.

Speaker 1 (18:14):

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Welcome back in Glay, Travis Buck Sex did show. We
are headed down to the great state of Florida, where
man we talked to a little bit ago. I think
on the first day of early voting in Florida, if
I'm not mistaken, Senator Rick Scott has won comfortably.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Let's start here.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Senator, you've won every race by like one point that
you've ever been involved in. If I remember correctly, in
your entire political career, what was it like to win
by double digits?

Speaker 1 (19:24):
I mean, this is a new experience for you.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
I think it was all the play in Buck showIn
the first day of early voting. I mean, like Trump did,
Joe Rogan, I did Clay and Buck and I won.
We got We got nearly six million votes. We won
by one point four million votes. So we won in
Miami Dade County. We won in by ten points. We
won in Ostiola. So Hispanics are Republicans. Yes, love Florida.

(19:50):
La Florita is Raja. So I've been putting a lot
of effort into his fanic votes since I showed running
twenty ten and I gave people reason vote for ma. Guys,
I want your kids like I want my kids like
my mom wanted me to have the chance to live
with the dream of the country. I thought, it's as
simple as that. We all have our family, we want

(20:10):
them to have a chance. So I think Florida is
the center of the Republican Party, and I think the
rest of the country I will to watch what we're doing,
because we could teach.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
You a hell of a lot about win elections as
you were campaigning, and congrats, Senator on your reelection, as
you were campaigning in this state, my home state. Now,
I'm part of that Florida Revolution, that Florida miracle of
people who fled communism during COVID to try to find
freedom within this country. But specifically speaking to the Hispanic

(20:37):
and Latino population here, what was it that was motivating
as you see it, what looks to be about a
ten to fifteen point slide toward Trump in this election,
you know, extrapolating that out from what you found in Florida.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
I think what's happened with Hispanics is that, you know,
I put a lot of effort into this thing, both
starting back in twenty ten, Trump put effort in the
Hispanic vote, and what's happened is Hispanics have looked and
looked around and said, who's better for my job, Who's
better for my kids? Education? You know, if you look nationwide,

(21:15):
almost ninety percent of Hispanics are fed up with the
public school system because they think that it's not helping
their kids get ahead. Hispanics want to live in a
safe community. And so what they figured out is that's
really the Republican issues, jobs, your kids, education, public safety.
So I think that's what's happened. But part of it

(21:35):
is show up, you know I did. I did about
twenty percent of my events while I was governor and
then and the Senate, and in this you know, expanding
Hispanic businesses, Hispanic chambers. So you know, you know you've
got to meet a fonodors, those doctors, says Finos, and
we important the part of me and the other thing

(21:57):
you do is help people when you should, Like when
the hurricane happened in Maria. Are in the Puerto Rico
Maria in twenty seventeen, I opened up relief centers in
the Miami in Orlando Airport. I waived license licenses, I
gave Puerto Ricans in state tuition. They came in and

(22:18):
became teachers immediately, they became man, they became a lot
of different jobs that required licenses. They eventually they had
to get them. We got an into our school system overnight.
It's four and twenty five thousand Puerto Ricans come through,
and I think they're appreciative that somebody gave a damn
and we're the only state that did it. So I
think that's one of the reasons that's I mean, I

(22:39):
won Ostilo County, which.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Is unheard of.

Speaker 6 (22:46):
It's a it's a majority Puerto Rican and it's because
I did my job. I mean, they are American citizens.
We ought to help them. So I think people vote
what's good for them.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Senator Rick Scott with us big winner on election night,
I'm going to get to the next question, which is
about who should be Senate Majority leader and how that's
going to play out. But I want to read a
statement that just came down from soon to be Senator
Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania and let you react on this.
Senator Scott, I'm not sure if you've seen this, but

(23:21):
they just said. The McCormick campaign released the following statement
on the outcome of the Senate race. In Pennsylvania, McCormick
is up thirty six seventy nine votes, with more to
come as Ruby red Cambria County is still outstanding. While
votes continue to be counted any way you slice it,
Dave McCormick will be the next United States Senator from Pennsylvania,

(23:43):
said Elizabeth Gregory McCormick communications director. This is one of
the last races in the Senate still outstanding that will
get Republicans to at least fifty three.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
So with that in mind, several Senate majority seats is
not going to be some thing where the hopefully the
VP has to break ties very often. Mitch McConnell is
stepping down. Who, in your mind, Senator Scott should be
the next majority leader. How do you see it playing out?

Speaker 6 (24:13):
Well, I believe I'm going to be the next majority
leader because I believe what I've been talking about is
exactly what Republican senators want. I've been talking to my
republic colleagues, as you know, I ran against McConnell back
in twenty two, and here's what they want. They want change,
they want they want to be part of the Trump mandate.

(24:33):
They want to be treated as equals. They wanted to
have a real agenda to get things done. They want
to be part of a team. They want they know
we need to work with the House. And so that's
what I've been talking about. It I've been talking about since
I ran against McConnell. And and they know I'm a
business guy like Trump. They know I've got a great
relationship with Trump. They've got they know I have a

(24:54):
great relationship with the Speaker Mike Johnson. And here's what
business guys do we get results? How do we do it?

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Well?

Speaker 6 (25:01):
We have a purpose, we build a team, we write
a plan, We measure ourselves constantly to get a result.
Guess what. That's what. That's what I talked to my
republant colleagues. They're frustrated. They want to get something done.
And the approach of the day, you know McConnell, Schumer approaches.
You know, we don't get anything done. May I've been

(25:22):
up there six years. It's been a pain. And uh,
but I mean I can't get them. I can't. You
can't get a vote on something. You can't, you know,
because we just all we do is nominations, and we
have problems. We got almost thirty six trillion dollars with
a debt, we've got open border, we got high inflation,
we're not adding full time jobs. We got problems. So
this idea that but we're just gonna come up there

(25:44):
and have lunch and do a couple of nominees every week.
That doesn't get it for most most of my colleagues.
And so I think I'm gonna win because because this
is what we all know we have to do. Our
country is in trouble. That's why Trump won. He's got
a he's got a he's got a mandate. And I know,
I think my colleagues know that I'll have a plan

(26:04):
to get Trump's nominations done. I'll have a plan to
get Trump's agenda done. I'll have a plan to get
the tax cuts done. I'll have you know, I'll have
a plan to get stuff done. So so I'm I'm
what I'm doing is basically responding to what my colleagues want.
So what I did is I went around and talked
to him. I I you know, I went down and

(26:26):
talked to him and said, what do you want? How
do you want? How how do you think this place
ought to be run? And what would be important to you.
A leader is not a dictator. A leader is organizes
people to work together for a better cost. So my
job is to do just what I built the largest
hospital company in the world. I built a bunch of
manufacturing companies. My way I did that is I had

(26:47):
a purpose and I worked. I worked it every day,
and I measured stuff to get a result. And so
that's what That's what my colleagues want, and that's why
I think I'm going to be the I'll be the
next majority of And it's not for it's not for me,
it's for them, and it's for Trump's agenda.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
We're speaking to Senator Scott in Florida, and Senator's assuming
you do become majority leader, and it certainly seems like
that's a very good, strong possibility. What you mentioned the economy,
you actually have private sector business experience. One thing the
American people I believe will benefit from dramatically in the
next iteration of the Trump administration is having people in

(27:27):
very senior roles, including the President himself, who understand how
business works and understand how to build wealth and prosperity
on a broad scale. What would you want to see done?
I mean what is something that as Senate majority leader
you could point to concretely. I mean you mentioned tax cuts.
What kind of tax cuts? We talk about energy? What
should be done on the legislative side. I mean, I

(27:48):
know some of it is legislating and some of it
is deregulating. But what is top of the agenda. I mean,
give us some concretes.

Speaker 6 (27:55):
So here here's what. So in when I was in business,
because frustration was not my competition, my biggest frustration wasn't
anything other than government because it was just like a
black hole. You couldn't get an answer. They had stupid rules.
So when I was governor, I promised seven hundred thousand jobs.
When I was run in twenty ten, Florida had a

(28:16):
bad economy at the time. I got one point seven
million private sector jobs less. We drew sicize government and
how do we do it? Really? The truth is Number
one was not the tax cuts. We did one hundred
tax cuts. Number one was the permitting times and the
radiatory environment. You could we have five water management diustries

(28:37):
in Florida. It could take few years to get something
you were entitled to. I got that down in most
cases to less than a week. You were entitled to
a license professional license, which is still thinking forty seven days.
I got that down to a day. So it's one
it's permitting, two it's regulatory. And then you say to
yourself what don't we need? You know, what's fees don't

(29:00):
we need? What taxes don't we need? And you constantly say,
how do we do that? Because guess what, we're competing globally.
So if if nobody walks into a business and says, I,
you know, I heard it to be longer at that permit,
so I'll pay a little bit more. Or I heard
that you you've got to comply with more regulations, I'll
pay more. Oh, I heard you've got some fees with
local government of your stay. Government doesn't pay a little

(29:22):
bit more. So we've got to understand in business, we
are competing globally. I want American jobs and then we
and we can't. We've got to stop China's unfair trade practices.
We gotta stop stop. The most basic thing we got
to do with individuals is stop buying new crap, Stop
buying nothing, go go cold turkey. They want to destroy

(29:44):
our way life. So the way I think about it
is is what I'm going to do is I'm going
to make sure we win the leaders race, and then
I'm gonna sit down with Trump and Mike Johnson and say,
would say, Okay, what do we want to get done? Okay,
let's write a plan. Un let's work it every week.
And it's something that's not working great change. And so

(30:06):
but I know, I know that the types of I
like all tips scouts, But let's think about the ones
that have the biggest impact. It's the ones that make
us globally uncompetitive. That's the biggest taxes we ought to
be doing. And how do we get people to invest
in American businesses? Because if you want more American jobs,

(30:26):
you want more Americans to start to businesses. If you
want more American jobs, you want you want people to
build their plants in America. And so you say, okay, So,
which you know that's how I would, That's how I
will think about it. But if the leader's job is
to take the best ideas and organize the Republicans to
come together with the best ideas, you can get enough

(30:48):
votes to pass the legislation. Because if you don't get
enough the votes to pass the legislation, you have great
ideas and nothing happens. The job of the leader is
to bring people together to get something accomplished.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
No doubt.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Now, what's the time frame for the leadership decision? And
how many people do you expect will be running? Ultimately,
it looks like there's going to be fifty three of
y'all that sit down and make a decision about who
should be the majority leader. What's that process to look
like and what's the timeframe?

Speaker 6 (31:19):
Well, it's by our bylaws, it's supposed to be in January.
But what they've been doing since McConnell's been around, they've
been rushing the vote. So the vote is now going
to be next Wednesday, which is really unfair to our
new members because you know, they don't know how the
process works, and you know, and for a lot of
it's like me, I've been going through a campaign. It

(31:44):
is my campaign season. So anyway, they're scheduling the vote
for next Wednesday. So what I've got to do to
win is that I'll have to get a majority of
fifty three, so I'll get to get twenty seven votes.
And so I'm talking to my colleagues about how I
my job is, how do I help you get what
you came up here to accomplish. Everybody's got a everybody's

(32:05):
got a why they're there, right, I got my why.
My why is I want every kid to live the
dream I live, right, So everybody's got there why. My
job is leader will be Okay, what's your why? How
do I get you? How do I get you to
get that accomplished? So I'm so what I'm doing is
I'm talking to my colleagues about you know what you know,
how I can how I can help them get what

(32:27):
they want to get accomplished. And and then you know,
I do what I do in my business life. I'm
going to win, and then I'm going to go do
it and I'm going to make all my My job
is to make all my colleagues really successful. Just like
in business, if all the people worked with me were
really successful, I probably did fine.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Senator Rick Scott big winner in the state of Florida
running for Senate majority leader now with fifty three at
least Republicans going to join him in making that decision,
and it should be should be outstanding to see. Good luck, Senator,
congrats on the big win, and we're happy to have
helped you get that landslide down in the free state

(33:08):
of Florida.

Speaker 6 (33:09):
All right, thanks, have a great day.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
We'll do for sure that Senator Rick Scott in the
mix for Senate Majority Leader. We'll see how that plays out.
It's gonna happen very soon, replacing Mitch McConnell. You heard
his pitch there. Look a lot of people out there,
maybe struggling a little bit with the testosterone in their lives.
Maybe even some white dudes for Harris have made the
switch and come over, started to get some testosterone back

(33:33):
in their life, and they're like, you know what, a
clay and buck. They make a little bit more sense
than I thought before the election. Hey, maybe dudes shouldn't
be winning women's championships. Maybe Jeff Bezos out there is
part of our big Miami listening base. You just heard
Senator Rick Scott. Maybe who knows, Maybe we've even got
Tim Cook listening now congratulating Donald Trump. Maybe their secret

(33:54):
Trump supporters. Maybe they've got a little bit of testosterone
in their life. If you need more testosterone in your
if you need a little bit more energy, maybe you
stayed up super late. Crockett Coffee hasn't gotten you over
the finish line. How about twenty percent extra testosterone in
three months time with the mal Vitality Stack. That's what
Chalk can do. If you just go check it out

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Great nineties tunes. They're bringing it back.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
That's the thing to make you go, I'm talking about Hey,
just what about those total voting numbers? Like again, when
the data is all in buck only fifty seven percent
of California's votes, according to the tally right now have
been counted yet. I mean, this is crazy too. It's
not a swing state, but there are a lot of
congressional races that still matter a great deal. Let's take

(35:21):
some calls here, by the way, coming up the most
the most amusing explanations of from the left of why
Trump kicked their asses.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
We'll get into some of that. You're going to enjoy that.
Trust me, it's gonna be a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
We've got one in particular that Clenn I are both
excited to dive into John and Atlantic City.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
What's going on? John?

Speaker 6 (35:42):
Hey? Buck?

Speaker 8 (35:43):
Thank should taking my call? I just want to I'm
very excited, man, I am so.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Happy joined the club.

Speaker 8 (35:51):
But I'm just I'm wondering. I haven't they'll be talked
about it, but do you think that he's going to
ask for the resignation of all these attorneys and the
Justice Department? Because I know Bill Clinton did it, and
I know George Bush did it too. George Bush got
some pushback of discrimination or something like that, but he's
got every right too.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
I think Trump should have his people in all US
attorney's offices all across the country.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
No question. What do you think?

Speaker 2 (36:18):
I think a caller is raising an important point. I
said this before the election that if Trump won, to me,
the single most important decision he made even more important,
I think, honestly than vice president, is who is the
Attorney General going to be? Because we have got to
clean up the Department of Justice, and I'm not sure
who that pick's going to be. That to me, though,
will give you a really major indication about Trump two

(36:41):
point zero and what exactly the cabinet members are going
to look like the most important they got to clean
that place out. I agree with the caller, we got
to get a real talented badass there.
