Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome everybody to the Thursday edition of The Clay Travis N.
Buck Sexton Show. Gonna be just me Buck solo today
because Clay making his way back from his really fascinating
and powerful trip to Israel. He's going to be out
today and tomorrow, back with us all next week. So

(00:21):
I have the con today. Let's dive into it. A
lot going on, my friends. You have more of the
aftermath of the assassination of the United Healthcare CEO and
the left acting even more unhinged that I think many
of us anticipated. We'll discuss some of that. Actually, Clay

(00:44):
was on the Piers Morgan Show and there was a
woman one of the panelists, a leftist. You know what,
I won't get ahead of myself, but they're saying it
out loud. They're saying stuff that you wouldn't expect anyone
who makes a career sharing their thoughts in pub loo,
what'd say. But when it comes to this United CEO,
there's a lot of that going on right now. Christopher

(01:06):
Ray's resignation and the assent of our friend Cash Patel.
That's also getting a lot of attention right now, understandably,
So I think Cash is the man for the job.
Cash is going to do great things at the FBI.
I have a lot of faith in him. I mean,
you have some real all stars in this Trump cabinet,

(01:30):
and that's gonna be necessary because there's a big mission
ahead for them. Also, some stuff on DEI US Appeals
Court ruling on NASDAK diversity rules for company boards. Guess
what an appeals courts and the Fifth Circuit said no, sorry,

(01:50):
I know you're trying to be not racist, but that's
kind of racist. Actually, you can't just say you need
certain people and certain colors are certain genders on a
company board. Because we'll spend some more time on that.
And I gotta say, the fight over all the cabinet
stuff that's going on right now, it's not a fight
on the right where United Trump is going to get

(02:13):
his picks through. I believe all the ones that are
in contention right now are looking good. They tried to
throw the kitchen sink at Pete Hegseth, but he laughed
in their faces. They ambushed him. He fought through the ambush,
flanked the enemy, and now they have thrown up their
hands in surrender. God bless Pete. Happy to see it.

(02:33):
The biggest challenge the administration faces. In my mind, the
biggest challenge that Trump faces to save the country is
this issue of illegal immigration, the mass importation of illegal aliens.
As you know, this has been a primary topic on

(02:55):
this show as for the whole time Clay and I
have been parted up. It has been one of the
most important issues to me. Certainly for the last eight
years or so, I've been following this very closely. You've
been down to the border multiple times to see for
myself what a disaster it is. And we haven't exaggerated

(03:16):
this problem at all. In fact, the New York Times
had to come out with this. This is just in
the last twenty four hours because they realize that the
game is up. They can't hide this sort of stuff anymore.
They tried to lie to you about this to help
Kamala Harris win and before that, to help Joe Biden
get four more years. That's how disgraceful the Democrat media is.

(03:40):
But when I've said things like the worst border ever.
I was on Bill mahershows, you know a couple of
months ago, I said Trump is certain to win. They
all laughed. I pointed at them and said, yeah, we'll
see about that. And I said, it's the worst border
that we've ever seen. You've had probably ten million people
have come into the country legally, and they say, oh no,
that that's not true. This is the New York Times headline.

(04:03):
Recent immigration surge has been the largest in the history
of the United States. The numbers in the Times analysis
including legal and illegal immigration, but sixty percent they say
are illegal. To be clear, these numbers are low. But
here's what the numbers tell you. That this is currently

(04:27):
a surge under Biden of eight million plus in the
United States. As I've said, I believe it's over ten
million based on any realistic interpretation of the numbers because
of god aways and visa overstates and other things. But
eight million people. And they're playing games with the leg
legal versus illegal part of this. They're overwhelmingly illegal. What

(04:50):
they're doing is saying if they have a temporary legal
status because they're faking an asylum claim, they're probably not
counting them as illegals or trust me, however they're doing it.
They're juicing the numbers. I don't have access to their
internal data on this. All I can tell you is
eight million is low. It's more than that. But here's
the critical context. There have been more people coming into

(05:14):
this country, overwhelmingly illegally, than at any time in our
nation's history, including the booms and immigration, which by the way,
were always temporary and controlled. But eighteen hundreds, not early
nineteen hundreds, Ellis Island, all of that, all of that,

(05:36):
more people have piled into this country now than during
the great migrations, so called great migrations of the past
that brought you know, my ancestors here after the potato
famine in Ireland in the eighteen forties. That was on
one side of the family. It brought a lot of you,
your families from from wherever, all over the map when

(05:58):
it came to migration, and those periods and not quite
as global as it is now, was overwhelmingly from Europe.
So there's that. And of course there were there was
the enforced or the forced rather immigration of slaves to
America and then their freedom after the Civil War. But

(06:19):
when you look at the great uh you know, the
enslavement and transfer of people and then their freedom after
the Civil War, when you look at the great waves
of migration, what has happened here in this country in
the last eight years is a bigger number, on a
bigger scale than we have ever seen before, and the
Biden administration knew it, they welcomed it. We have to

(06:43):
figure out what we're going to do. This is a
stunning moment for the country because when you're talking about
numbers on this scale, it's impossible for them to hide
at any more what's really going on. Right It's impossible

(07:04):
for them to play games with Oh, it's not as
bad as this administration. With the administration, you have to
think of this in terms of the social and political
changes that have been going on in the country because
of this, the drain on revenue, the drain on the
taxpayer's purse, and this is all going on as a

(07:28):
as a function of choice by the Democrat Party. This
is all going on with the idea that this is
the America that we now all live in. We live
in a country that does not have borders. We live
in a country where anyone can come here and they
have the same rights to our resources, to to our courts,

(07:56):
to everything as people who have been here, born here,
families from here, or people who came here even legally
through our immigration system. This is an unprecedented flood into
the country, and overwhelmingly it is people who have disrespected
our laws and committed a fraud against the American people.
They are not they're not asylum seekers. If these individuals

(08:19):
are asylum seekers by the numbers, then it means anybody,
we better get ready for a billion people to arrive
in America over the next twenty thirty years, whatever it is,
because everybody should be allowed to come here from any
poor country that doesn't have to They don't have to
have any skills, they don't have to share our culture,
they don't have to share our language. It's just you arrived.

(08:39):
Democrats want to give you free stuff and get you
voting as soon as possible. And they say, oh, but buck,
they can't vote. Really, if we amnesty all these illegals,
you're telling me that the Democrats aren't going to make
them voters as soon as possible. Of course, there have
already been efforts under way for Democrats to use their

(09:01):
ability in local elections or use their power for giving
illegals the right to vote even though they know they're illegal. Right.
They thought about this one in San Francisco. They've thought
about this in some other cities. They want to do
this as soon as possible. How is this not treason
against the country, But how is this not the most

(09:22):
egregious betrayal that it's not just Biden. I don't want
to make this just about Biden. Biden, as we know,
is the figurehead. Biden's not even really awake. Biden's not
even really the guy calling the shots. We all know it.
They just just send him on some trip to Africa.
The guy fell asleep in the meeting. No one cares.
It's commander in chief. No one even cares. This is

(09:46):
the system that the Democrats have created. This is the apparatus.
Bring in as many illegals as possible from all over
the world, make the American people feel guilty if they
don't want to take them, lie about the numbers, lie
about whether they're legal or not. And the entire media

(10:06):
apparatus as well that created this, created this narrative, created
the groundswell of oh but come on, you know, we're
a nation. We're a nation of immigrants. The Statue of Liberty,
the poem give me you're tired, you're week, all that stuff.
That media apparatus is on its back right now because

(10:26):
people have woken up now. The good news is that
we've woken up. The bad news is that it took
this the biggest infusion of illegals in the history of
the country in a four year period, the most wide open,
worst border we have ever had in our country's history.
Tens of thousands of criminals. I don't just mean the
illegal Crossing Act and illegal status in the country. I

(10:49):
mean murderer's rapists. Look at the numbers. These are government numbers.
While Biden is still in office. He has sold out
the country. The Democrats have sold out the They have
blurred the lines of what it even means to be
an American. What is it to be an American? If
you get to come here, have access to our like
I said, resources, rule of law, our courts, our schools,

(11:12):
our hospitals are everything, and you're not even supposed to
be here. And in some cases they're people that the
home country doesn't want them either because they're criminals, because
they are predatory to their fellow human beings. They have
a history of disrespecting and breaking the most clear and
necessary laws. And then they come here and they join

(11:33):
you know, trenda arraguar or whatever or they're already a
member of it. This is what is going on, and
this is why it is so important for the Trump
team to come in and do everything in their power
to turn this tiede back. They If they fail in
this mission, it will not be possible to say that

(11:55):
the Trump administration has achieved its mandate. They have to
do this. This has to be right away, day one,
a focus and all hands on deck effort, because as
soon as if you don't stop this, First of all,
it's going to continue to happen at not the level
it's been under Biden, but you're gonna still have a
lot of illegals piling into the country. And then beyond that,

(12:19):
as soon as Democrats get an opportunity, they're going to
do this again right because they're not going to change
fundamentally as a party. They've made their gamble. I think
they lost this last election in large part because of
the immigration issue, because it was so obscene, it was
so over the line, so obvious that they didn't care
about our borders. So now they want the payoff, and

(12:39):
the payoff is mass legalization. It's amnesty for tens of
millions of people, it's amnesty for everyone. And anyone who
has come here and says I want to stay, and
you're not even wanted to ask why or what are
you bringing to the table, or what about the fact
that you broke our laws to come here. No Democrats
have a plan in mind. If they're able to execute

(12:59):
on it, they transform the country. And that's not an
exaggeration when you're talking about the biggest surge of migrants
into the country in history. And mostly you know, they
always jumble the numbers. Yeah, it's not all illegals. Obviously,
we take in a million legals year after year, which
is a lot, by the way, in this country. A

(13:21):
million legal immigrants, and you know they've respected our laws
and they're welcome, they're part of the American family. The
number doesn't have to be a million for all of eternity,
I might add, you know, we might decide a lot
of legal migrants are like, yeah, we've had a lot
of migrants, maybe it's time to change things up. But
the illegals, this is just simply a function of Biden
kicking the doors wide open. And we have never seen

(13:42):
anything like this before in the history of the country.
Even the New York Times is saying it and the
number of people in this country who were actually born
in income from another country is at an all time high,
higher than it was in eighteen ninety fifteen percent of
all Americans were born somewhere else. Just to give you

(14:05):
a sense of how rapid the change has been. And
this was all by design. They wanted it, Biden, the
New York Times, the Democrat Party, MSNBCC, and then go
down the line, all of them. They wanted this, And
now here we are, and it is on Trump and
his team to fix it. Look, if you're an investor,

(14:26):
whether occasionally or really deep into the markets, you know
it's tough to find good practical insights from people who
really know Wall Street. But I want to tell you
a name that's out there. Brad Thomas. He's a savvy investor,
an expert in the world's largest asset, an asset that's
bigger than stocks and bonds combined. He's previously been an
advisor to the President and of LAID. Brad has a
mass more than a billion dollars in business transactions. Today,

(14:49):
Brad Thomas is on a mission to help everyday investors
with their own stock market performance. He's opening membership to
his research in a whole new way. It begins with
his top investment opportunity, which could deliver huge gains at
this new Trump administration moves into the White House. Brad
insists that it's one of several investments you gotta move
your money into before the end of the year to
position yourself for the upside. Check out this website, do

(15:12):
your own due diligence and research. See what Brad has
to say. Go to brad alert dot com. That's Bradlert

That website is Bradlert dot com, paid for by wide

(15:34):

All right, welcome back in. I mentioned Tom Holman before
the hoarders are This is a guy who has been
on the front lines on the border issue. Talk to Talk,
walk the Walk. He knows this backwards and forwards. He's
the right man for the job. There are a number
of just fantastic picks. And by the way, when I

(15:57):
say who the fantastic picks, are. That's just my opinion.
Trump's staffing up a lot of great people all over
the place. Right. You know, if I tell you who
I think should be on the NFL All Star Team,
it doesn't mean that there aren't other NFL players who
could also be on that team. But Tom Holman is
absolutely fantastic. And I guess they call it an all
pro team worse Clay all pro, right, not all start whatever?

(16:20):
Same thing. Oh, I am doing prize picks later. That's
going to be fun. It's like the Oscars. I'm going
to open the envelope. I don't know what it says,
so get ready for that. We've got Tom Holman here
saying what he really thinks about what has gone on
with his border and I hope you picked up in
the beginning of the show. I mean, I legitimately and

(16:40):
truly believe that what the Biden administration has done to
this country is lawless and treasonous and horrifying by allowing
this and encouraging this massive open door policy for illegal
aliens to pile in. Tom Holman feels the same way.
This is twenty two.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Sorry war the uniform. I became a nice agent first
ice director that actually came up through the ranks, right.
President Trump put me in that position, who I think
is the greatest president of my lifetime, by the way,
and the tragedies I've seen, you know, I've talked to
young girls as young as nine that were raped multiple
times by members of the cartel. And you get on
your knees and talk to a little girl that had
everything innocent and pure rip from her, she would never

(17:21):
be the same. It moves you. I've held many dying people,
I've held many dead people, and talked to a lot
of women and children that were sexually assaulted. And it
all could be prevented if we secured a border, secure
the border, safe life. So yeah, I wake up every
day pissed off with what this administration did to the
most secure border in my lifetime. But thankfully we got
President Trump coming back and we'll go secure the border

(17:42):
once again and saved lives.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
You already said there. Tom Homan wakes up every day
pissed off with what this administration did to the most
secure border in his lifetime. It was a choice they made.
This wasn't an natural disaster. It's not like a big
hurricane came somewhere that the that the Biden White House

(18:05):
wasn't expecting. Okay, they wanted this to happen. It happened,
and now they act like, oh, who could have ever known?
We all knew. The illegals certainly knew. They were showing
up wearing Biden t shirts. Remember in the early days,
there were these caravans coming in and they'd say, why
are you Here's because Biden's gonna give us amnesty. They
weren't wrong. Biden wanted to. And this is the same

(18:29):
country where we have a tax code that's tens of
thousands of pages. We have so many thousands and thousands
of federal criminal statutes. And I'm talking about from minute
things right, things that you say, wait, that's illegal, and
you're all subject to that. You know, you're all subject
to the whims of the EPA and what you can
do with the wetland I EA a little pond in
your backyard. You better obey or else they'll destroy you.

(18:53):
They'll take all your money, maybe they'll take away your freedom,
Separate you from your family, family separation. This country will separate.
Look at all the JA six are separated from their families,
overwhelmingly for nonviolent crimes. Overwhelmingly for really not doing much
of anything. We're standing around. Where were the tears in
the media for their families, for their wives or husbands

(19:15):
and their children, lives ruined and destroyed. What's the rule
of law? Oh yeah, sure, the rule of law. They
really care about that. Speaking of which, Biden just pardoned
another fifteen hundred people today. He's going on a little
pardon extravaganza, single day act of Oh I'm sorry, no,
but he commuted, commuted the sentences of fifteen hundred people,

(19:39):
as I say, pardons. Wow, I was going for it.
Commutations are announced for people who were released from prison
place in home confinement America. Okay, blah blah blah. Point
is here, fifteen hundred commutations. You know, I've been saying
that how important it is to have Trump come in
and handle the immigration issue, securing the border and deporting

(20:03):
illegals and starting with the law enforcement priority of illegals
who are in this country who are truly a threat
to your safety, and to mind, the illegals that we know,
because they've been arrested numerous times, will inevitably increase in
their criminal activity and could even lead to horrific horrific
situations like the rape and murder of Lake and Riley. Right,

(20:26):
that illegal was aim custody in New York. Oh, but
they had to let him go. Can't actually help the
FEDS enforce the law. Where else do you see that?
Let me tell you they're still doubling down on this.
San Diego County supervisors just voted for their sheriff department
to do even less than they already do. It's basically

(20:47):
nothing to prohibit cooperation with the FEDS except when it
comes to illegals. Progament immigration authorities. When it comes to
illegals for the most heinous crimes imaginable, maybe then they'll
help out. You know, if they get an MS thirteen
like Cartel hitman, maybe then they'll do something to help
the Immigrations and Customs off fort enforcement authorities. But short

(21:09):
of that, you know, drunk driving a few times put
a few Americans in the hospital because some illegal without
a driver's license gets wasted for the third time and
you know, runs his car into it. He's, you know,
doing the driving Americans won't do. We got to keep
him here more law abiding than Americans. It's all propaganda.
We all see that now. Right the whole. Oh, pick

(21:31):
this case, pick that case. Either the law is the
law or it isn't. And they have decided when it
comes to illegal aliens, the law is not the law.
This is a big sympathy, propaganda and manipulation contest. I
think Americans have had enough of it. I truly do.
I think that they have decided that when I say Americans,

(21:54):
there's always going to be crazy. You know, I can't.
I can't uncrazy the twenty to thirty percent of America
Frikans who believe in like transsurgery for miners and have
actually convinced themselves that Kamala was not a total moron.
And you know, I can't change their minds and I'm
never going to be able to. But we when we
have something like sixty seventy percent of Americans really all

(22:16):
on the same page, and when it comes to legal aliens,
we do. It's in the sixties, depending on the poll
you want to look at, and if it was framed properly,
I think if people knew more, it'd be more like
in the seventies or maybe even getting up into eighty percent.
But solid majority of Americans have decided or have woken
up to Some of us have known all along, but

(22:37):
other people are figuring this out, that this is an
unsustainable situation, and that when you have local authorities who
are saying things like we're going to try to make
it harder for federal government to enforce the law. Aren't
they part of America? Why walk up to the line

(22:59):
of obstruction? You know? Would they do this with other things?
Would they do this with other laws? Why does the
law not count here? Does Congress not have the right
to pass laws, federal laws that are binding on all
fifty states about the status of people in this country?
Of course they do. Do we really even have a country?
If this continues, we have more of an economic zone,

(23:21):
no sense of love, patriotism, even cultural or linguistic affinity
for traditional America. Have you just come here from wherever,
start getting your start, getting access to in the NGO
industrial complex, you know, welfare benefits through one means or another.

(23:42):
Then we're making great Americans. How exactly? The first thing
they learn is scan the system and you'll get free stuff.
That's not going to work out very well for us
over the long term. More and more people have recognized this,
that is a good thing and I bring you then
to why they're so obstinate about some of these Trump picks.

(24:04):
And yes, I know this is a habit I'm going
to have to break. I'm gonna have to stop watching
Morning Joe. I really did. I became an habitual watcher
of Morning Joe and it was fascinating, isn't it amazing?
They were telling us for months that Hitler stood a
real chance of winning the election in this country, and
apparently Hitler won, and like everything's fine, you know what

(24:26):
I mean, no no problem, stock markets booming. You know,
Elon just became the richest person in history. He's almost
halfway to being a trillionaire. You know, things are going great.
Everything seems like it's going in the right direction. Not yet,
I know, they got to come in and fix things.
But the optimism is there, right, there's a lot of
optimism in ways that you can point to. How are

(24:47):
the markets doing? And what a small businesses feeling? What
are big businesses? What is everybody feeling? But it's so
weird because I think they told us that Hitler was
going to win, and they really used that to you know,
what's going to happen. So within a couple of years,
they're going to pretend that they never said this stuff.
It's gonna be just like COVID. This is what I've realized.

(25:08):
This is why it's so hard to enforce accountability with
these Democrats. Whatever they were saying, once some time has passed,
they'll just just gaslight you. I didn't say that. Give
it a couple of years. Morning, Joe will be like,
can you.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
Believe that people were saying Donald Trump was actually like
Hitler or a fascist. That's not the kind of rhetoric
this Democrat party needs. I can't believe people were doing that,
you know, just waft his hair over to one side
as he says it.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yeah, I gotta tell you. They are shockingly dishonest over
there and a lot of these regime media outlets, but
they were okay, they were talking about the Trump picks
this morning, and they're still convinced they're going to be
able to stop some of these picks. This has cut
twenty three talking about the ones that are really upsetting them,

(25:58):
gabbered hag Seth Patel. I want to talk about why,
but here's what they're saying.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
Play The cls hard for me to believe, even in
this cinical age that Republicans who have spent their entire
life concerned about the intelligence community and building the intelligence
community and giving a damn about the intelligence community just
like the FBI, are going to go ahead and vote
for somebody like Toulsey Gabbert, who they openly said, we
are very concerned about her statements that sounded supportive of

(26:25):
a sad and very concerned that even Russian media considers
her to be a close ally of Vladimir Putin, again
just repeating Russian talking points. I find that hard to
believe that they're not going to be four Republican senators
to vote no with her, with Hexitt, and yes with
Cash Pattel, a guy who said he's going to close

(26:46):
the FBI on day one.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
They're delusional. I mean, this is delusional. There's no way
these three are going to get through because Republicans have
the votes, and I think it has become clear to
these Republics and senators with Gabbard, Hegseeth and Patel, if
you want to keep being a Republican senator, you don't
want to get primer, you don't want to lose your job.
These are people who should get through. These are people

(27:12):
who have the resume and the background to do these
jobs well. And I would also just note, think about
some of the people who have had these jobs in
the past under Democrat administrations, particularly are we are we
supposed to be impressed? What was one of the problems
of Trump's first term He listened to and he admits this,
I'm not you know, casting as version throwing stones. I

(27:35):
think this is just some of the people they brought
in were a little swampy or a little two machine establishment,
and it didn't work out. Talking Trump term one, you know,
the kind of people who would run a place like
the pentagona, would run a place like the FBI. But
look at Christopher Ray. Christopher Ray was the choice of
the FBI from within the FBI. How'd that work out

(27:57):
for us? We had FBI agents raiding mar A Lago,
you know what I mean? We can kind of see
how this is going, can't we? We understand what has
happened here. They're upset about Gabbert, Hexath and Patel because
these are people who will not be cowed into silence.
They will not be tools of the establishment. They will
not be frightened by the Democrat machine into abandoning the mission,

(28:24):
and therefore they're a threat. They're a threat to their
power and what they haven't yet figured out, really, or
they should figure out over at Morning Joe and these
other places. I know, I'm addicted to left wing media now.
I just keep watching it. It's amazing entertainment. These people
are insane. But what they haven't figured out is the
more they show us who they think the threats are,

(28:46):
the more this election, this red wave, this Trump two
point zero base knows that these are the people that
you want to get through right. The angrier there are that,
the more clear they make their opposition, the more we recognize, Oh,
we definitely need these individuals. I mean cash, We definitely

(29:07):
need cash to be at the FBI. I don't want
someone going in there doing business as usual. I'll take
some of your calls here coming up eight hundred two

dot com and on behalf of our friends at Hillsdale College.
In the words of Tiny Tim, a Merry Christmas to
us all, God bless us everyone.

Speaker 5 (30:18):
Sometimes all you can do is laugh, and they do
a lot of it with the Sunday Hang Join Clay
and Buck as they laugh it up.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
In the Clay and Buck podcast feed on the iHeartRadio
app or wherever you get your podcasts, some of you
who have been poking me on this one, and I
think it's worth us having a little discussion over first,
what the heck is going on with these drones over
New Jersey, you know, Jersey. What's happening here? I don't know.

(30:50):
People are asking me. Look, you gotta remember I've I
officially left the CIA in uh oh gosh, twenty eleven.
I think so, yeah, maybe it's maybe it's the end
of twenty ten and a drone technology as well as UFOs,
that's all. You know, that's a long time. I mean,

(31:11):
that's that could be like light years difference, right, So
I don't know. People ask me this. I don't know.
I wish I wish I had. I wish there was
a dare I say, Harry Potter like book of Secrets
or Wisdom or something in the CI that's got like
Area fifty one, jfk assassination, all these things, and I
had access to it. But no, it was not that cool.

(31:33):
It was not like that. And yeah, they did not
give me you know, exploding cuff links or an Aston
Martin with machine guns in it. That was really disappointing.
By the way, because that would have been cool. I
don't know, but I do know that something weird is
going on. And here's what we've got with this. Every
news outlet is essentially covering this, and if you haven't

(31:57):
been paying attention to it, there have been hundreds of
reports of drone sightings in the sky in New Jersey
and a lot of like video of this too. And
I guess it used to be. Now there are other
people who are much deeper on the UFO stuff than
I am. I just want to I want to assert

(32:17):
this some of my conservative brethren. What is the female
for brethren? Is it's cistern? Is that right? Anyway? Some
of my conservative brothers and sisters out there are way
more into the UFO thing than I am. And I
will say a rare point of contention within the Sexton family,

(32:37):
who generally see eye to eye on things, got a
family of great patriots. About half of us think that
there are UFOs that are extraterrestrial life, and half of
the Sexton's are on my I'm the skeptic, so I
am if Scully is the skeptic right and Moulder is
the believer, Am I right in that? So from from

(33:00):
the old X files days. I did watch it as
a kid. I just don't remember it very well. I
mean those a guy who's a girl that are alien
stuff like that. I'm on the very skeptical side of
the not that you don't see things or what. Clearly
people are seeing things, but I just don't think that
there's little green alien man or any of that kind
of stuff. And it wasn't there. It wasn't long ago.
They actually had a was it in somewhere in Latin America? Right,

(33:25):
They had the remains of an alien and they were
they were trying to pass this off and people are like, no,
it's real, it's real, Like, I'm pretty sure it's not.
I'm pretty sure it's not. Anyway. Yeah, So back to
what's going on here with the wow sistern is the word.
I just learned a new word that I didn't even
know that was a word. See, we learned together. That's

(33:45):
one of the great things about this show. I want
to learn stuff to talk to you about it, and
that means I have to learn stuff all the time. Honestly.
Side note, in all seriousness, one of my favorite parts
of this job is that I can constantly justify reading
whatever book I want, and taking the time to dive
into any topic because the more I know, the better
I am as a radio host, the more information I have.

(34:06):
So I do love that, right, I mean if I
were like a structural engineer building bridges or something very
important job. But I don't think it's you don't get
you to show up and be like I was reading
about the siege of Malta fifteen sixties and let me
tell you about it. So yes, I've learned a new
word today. And I also have learned that the Pentagon

(34:28):
is apparently saying that this isn't their stuff. So we
know that the UFOs aren't officially speaking from the Pentagon.
Now that they could be, they could be not actually
telling us the truth, wouldn't be the first time here
is let me just put this out there. We have
members of Congress, like Congressman Jeff Van Drew has said

(34:51):
that Iran. You know what, here is a United States
Congressman from New Jersey explaining what he sees or what's
going on here with these drones over the sky in
New Jersey. It's got twenty six play.

Speaker 6 (35:04):
Iran launched a mothership probably about a month ago that
contains these drones. That mothership is off.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
I'm gonna tell you the deal.

Speaker 6 (35:13):
It's off the east coast of the United States of America.
They've launched drones. Is everything that we can see or
here and again, these are from high sources. I don't
say this lightly. Iran made a deal with China to
purchase drones, motherships and technology in order to go forward.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
The sources I have are good.

Speaker 6 (35:33):
They can't reveal who they are because they are speaking to.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Me in confidentiality.

Speaker 6 (35:37):
These drones should be shot down, whether it was some
crazy hobbyist that we can't imagine, or whether it is Iran,
and I think it very possibly could be. They should
be shot down.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Okay, this is a United States Congressman saying he has
sources who have told him that is that there's in
a Ronnian drone mothership off the US east coast that
is the hub for these drones to be in the
sky in New Jersey in a is that is that possible?

(36:15):
It sounds a little sounds a little off to me,
but I don't know. And here's what I do know.
I do know that there was a Chinese spy balloon
that was just kind of flying over the us for all,
Remember that one just sort of just oooh, just going
over the US in our airspace, and no one knew
what to do about it or what. Just just Chinese

(36:36):
spy balloon flying over the United States taking pictures of stuff.
I know that droned. So this is where I like
to start on these things. There's the stuff that we
know and can talk about, and then we can get
into the theories. And by the way, I want, I
want realistic theories or explanations about this. If you call
and tell me that you yourself were kidnapped by little

(36:57):
green men, they experimented on you, I don't think we're
gonna put that on the air. So if you have
a real theory about what this is, especially if you
have a background in I don't know, aeronautics, aerospace, and defense,
whatever it may be, let me know and call in
to us and tell us what you think is going
on here. Because here's the If it's not foreign, which

(37:18):
we have been told by different reports now, and if
it is not American, what is it. I don't believe
that it's actual aliens, just to be clear, but I'm
also highly skeptical of all that stuff. I agree with
Elon Musk on this, the guy who's actually putting rockets
into space. He's like, if there was intelligent life that
we had already been in contact with, we would know.

(37:40):
This wouldn't be a hard This wouldn't be a hard
thing to figure out. Oh I know. Oh gosh, I'm sorry. Team,
you're gonna get the emails. You're gonna get over this one.
How dare you, sir? How dare unidentified unidentified flying you
a unidentified aeriel? What is it UAP? Now that's the
new one they use UFOI. Can't we just say UFO

(38:01):
unidentified flying object, unidentified aerial phenomena? I guess because it
can be like a light or something. It's not necessarily
an object that is real. Of course, we have evidence
of that. We have pilots, military pilots and others who
have said they've seen stuff that's that's very funky. Funky
is not the scientific term, but it is a term
that I like to use. That's all. That's all. Well,

(38:23):
I'm good, but we don't have any evidence of actual
foreign space aliens or anything. Look, I don't talk about
UFOs on the show. I don't get that deep into
the stuff because I think it's generally a waste of time.
But when there are drones flying over US sovereign territory
and we know that there's something going on and no
one seems to have a real answer about it, I

(38:44):
do think that that is something we should demand some
answers for right. The drones, according to NBC News, take
that as you will, which are not hobbyists but commercial,
commercial grade devices. According to many officials have smart concerns
over privacy, security, and public safety. Since the first sightings
in mid November, Eyewitness reports, social media videos, and officials

(39:08):
confirm the drones are up to six feet in diameter,
can quickly go from emitting eerie lights to no light
at all, and often avoid detection. This is NBC News.
This isn't you know, UFO, slash, Unidentified alienslash dot com
dot net. You know this is a news site. The

(39:29):
unexplained drone sightings and the lack of information about them
are prompting uncertainty and frustration from local officials and law
enforcement agencies, who say agencies like the FBI and Homeland
Security aren't doing enough to be transparent with residents. At
a Wednesday briefing by Governor Phil Murphy's office governor New Jersey.
A representative from Homeland Security joined via Skype to speak

(39:50):
alongside state officials on the issue. The FBI announced it
was opening an investigation, did not have a representative present.
Little information is available, so just no one is saying
there aren't drones. I haven't like that. So there are drones,
although tell us is what they're not, but they won't

(40:10):
tell us what they are. I think that's a little weird.
Something smells on that, right, there's there's an issue here,
and here's something else that I know. I know the
Jeff Andrew comment about Iran and the mothership whatever might
sound crazy. Iran, Russia, China, and North Korea our work

(40:31):
are more enmeshed and more intertwined over the last four
years than at any time I think. Ever. Those countries
are doing more transfer of military technology, obviously, oil business,
all kinds of stuff they are. And when you're talking
about Russian and Chinese and North Korean technology and mixed

(40:56):
in with you know, whatever Iran has in the pot,
there could there be some stuff that is much more
advanced than what we would be used to from any
one of those countries. There could be some stuff we
haven't seen yet. You know, you can't tell me that
AI is the future and going to change the world
we live in and make computers smarter. I mean, this

(41:19):
is a very basic way of approaching and make computers
smarter than we ever imagine was possible beforehand. And then
also tell me that there aren't advances in aerospace and
missile and weapons technology, drone technology that are going to
be incredibly rapid and seem very space age, if you will,
in the near future. Like these things all line up.

(41:42):
But I also think that on this issue, the fact
that the government still seems to believe they can just
tell us, yeah, you know, we got nothing to say
on that, or we don't have to give you answers
on that. No, you really do, you really do. We
have to know what's going on here. And I think
that we've become a little too particularly in the Biden era,

(42:08):
we become a little too complacent as a country about
true foreign adversaries. I don't know, maybe because the president's
son was getting millions of dollars from China, it certainly
didn't hurt China certainly didn't hurt. I think that's something
we can all agree on, all right, I'm gonna take
some of your drone calls on this one and emails,

(42:28):
VIP emails, remember, go to clanbuck dot com signed to
be VIP. But this is bizarre, honestly, and it does
remind me of the frenzy around the Chinese spy balloon,
which eventually they just did to say, yeah, China's taken
photos of all of our sensitive stuff from way way
high up in the sky. And what do we do
about it? You know, what are we going to do

(42:49):
about it? I mean shooting down these drones? Could we
even do that if we wanted to? What do we
shoot them down with? I don't know, or maybe I
do know? Can either confirm nor deny? All right, Prize
Picks time, Everybody, make your holidays bigger and more fun

Clay and find them on the free iHeartRadio app or
wherever you get your podcast. Chris Buck today and tomorrow.
Sorry that's third person, but I am Buck and he
is me. Clay will be back Monday, so we'll be
back in action Dynamic radio duo doing our thing. He's

(45:43):
just coming back from his really interesting Israel trip, which
we've been talking to him about all week. But it's
a bit of a flight, as you know, a little
bit of a little bit of a jaunt to get
over there and get back. So let's dive into the
situation here of the Brian Thompson murder and what people

(46:04):
are saying about now. Brian Thompson was the United Healthcare CEO.
United Healthcare, a massive company by revenue hundreds of billions
of dollars, and he was assassinated in cold blood right
in mid town Manhattan, right next to our New York
City radio studio. And the reaction to this has been
surprising to me, not only because of the ferocity of

(46:28):
the anger on the left toward this individual and the
support for the assassin, the alleged assassin to I have
to say it every time people say it's alleged, but
I mean, come on, like, the guy was found with
the gun and all the stuff. So the alleged assassin
of Brian Thompson's getting all this support. You know, I'm
gonna tell you something. I do not know Jimmy Kimmel.

(46:51):
I only know his work, but from what I know
of his work, he's a disgrace. He's not funny. He
seems like a nasty fellow, not very bright. And I
want you to hear this is on a late night
comedy show, supposedly comedy show with terrible ratings. The king
of late night comedy is, in fact Greg Guttfeld. So
congrats to Greg. And he'd built that really from square

(47:15):
one back in the day on red Eye. First cable
news show I ever did was red Eye with Greg Guttfeld.
I'll never forget it. Greg, very talented guy, and he's
he's the king of late night. I mean they can
try to say, oh, but what about Colbert, what about Kimmel? No, no, no,
they were given those other guys were given massive platforms
that they destroyed. Greg built his platform over at Fox

(47:37):
into the show that it is, and congrats to him
on that. But you know, it helps to be funny
when you're doing comedy show, and Jimmy Kimmel's not funny.
And I want you to hear what he says about
the United Healthcare Assassin. This is cut twelve. Play it.

Speaker 7 (47:51):
This isn't a change between two of our producers. We'll
call them Alphaba and Glinda. My TikTok is flooded. My
mom chain's going nuts, that's my TikTok. Everyone is obsessed.
People are saying in New York Cheery has the power
to find him innocent because we all love him. I'm
not mad at him. Please tell me you're as obsessed

(48:14):
as I am with this handsome CEO killer. Yes, so
many questions like can.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
I fix you?

Speaker 7 (48:22):
And Veronica says I need him so bad?

Speaker 1 (48:25):
No, like so bad, so so bad.

Speaker 7 (48:28):
Okay, so I would visit him in prison and bake
him cookies, maybe perhaps more, but I haven't thought that
far ahead.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
So why is is funny? Right? I mean truly, what's
clever about this? A lot of people are saying this stuff.
Why is there this sort of forced laughter around it?
Brian Thompson was murdered by a coward from behind. I mean,
this could happen to absolutely anybody who's completely defenseless walking
down the street in midtown Manhattan to New York City,

(48:59):
and he's just ordered in cold blood. I mean, just
such a such a cowardly act to begin with, and
you know he wasn't killed instantly. I mean imagine in
the man's terror when they're the first bullet I think
might have hit him the knee or was it the back.
You know, as he's bleeding out there on the street,
has no idea what is going on or what has

(49:20):
happened to him, and the people will think this is
so funny. People are laughing about how great this this
man by the way, this man's union guy. He's not handsome. Okay,
everyone can calm down. I don't talk about people's looks
because I think that that's generally not a part of
my job. And obviously, you know, glass House don't want
to throw stones. I get it. But this whole thing
about how he's so hot is bizarre. It's some really

(49:42):
excuse to kind of cozy up to and worship a
very evil act by a very deranged person. Deranged thing
to do. Deranged. Yeah, people are talking about the healthcare
system right now. You know what's going to happen to
change it? Nothing? Nothing? You know why, because people don't
want to be honest about what really goes on in
our healthcare system and what they think they should get
and what they demand from it. But put that aside.

(50:04):
Put that because it's a huge issue. It's a huge issue,
and it's not popular to talk about it in an
honest fashion. I think because it's like the debt. You know,
we all think the debt is a systemic risk to
our economy, and it is thirty six trillion dollars. We
all think that it is reckless and irresponsible. It is,

(50:25):
and then whenever you want to actually do something about it,
everyone goes, whoa, whoa, whoa, get your hands off my government,
my government money, my government benefit, my whatever, my entitlement,
you name it. Okay, well we're the problem. Not popular
to say, but we are the problem, right and meaning
the American people writ large, you don't have to say no, buck,
I'm ready to tackle this. And I know you, but

(50:47):
I mean Americans, this is something we vote for. These people.
It's like, why do we have such crap senators in
places like Texas? Not Ted Cruz the other one. You know,
why do we have in some of these red states,
Ted's great, some of these states that are so read
you have terrible centers, terrible governors because the Republicans in
those states in the primary ere their own care and

(51:07):
don't pay attention. They vote for somebody who's a fraud.
And you know, this is what we get, right, I mean,
this is this is the you know, we can complain
about it, but it's our own team doing it. So
with healthcare, it's the same thing. We say we want
to fix it, but everybody also wants to pay twenty
dollars when they go to a doctor. I just want
to pay the co pay. I don't want to have
to pay for health care. Why healthcare is a service?

(51:27):
Should you be able to get insurance for that service
like you do for your car? Yeah? Not everybody could
afford to write a you know, the average car now
is thirty five thousand dollars or something like that. Might
even more than that now, it might be closer to forty. Yeah,
if you're in a wreck and your car gets totaled,
you can't Just a lot of people can't just write
a check for that. I get it. Most people can't
write a check for that. That's why we have car insurance.
Shouldn't be the same thing with health you know, Yes,

(51:50):
if somebody gets you know, brain cancer, we should have
world class care for them and they should be able
to be treated. And that's but that's what health insurance
should be for, not you know, Oh, I'm going in
to get my blood pressure check. You should this should
be paid. We should pay for these things. I know,
but this is massive change in the system, and you
try to talk about this and there's so many scoundrels.

(52:11):
You've got the UH ambulance chasers, you drive up costs everywhere.
Try to get obstetrics care in some of these states.
Try to find an obgyn. Going through this right now
with my wife because my wife is pregnant. We're expecting
in April, as you know. Very exciting, thank you, But
it's very hard to find a good obgyn in a
lot of places because they're all getting sued out of

(52:32):
business by ambulance chasers. It's what happens to it reformed,
that would be a good idea, right, That would be
something that would help price transparency, knowing what it costs.
Also no longer allowing hospitals to say, oh, you have
a plan, you pay this. You don't have a plan.
You played ten you pay ten times as much what
it's the same service. So there are ways that we

(52:53):
could fix this. Okay, put that aside. This thing of
I don't like how an industry is going. So I
have any simple whatsoever for the premeditated murder of a
prominent symbol of it is is Bolshevik insanity. And I
know some of you disagree. I'm well, if you're talking
about Bolshevik insanity. And when I say, I don't know

(53:13):
how many of you agree or disagree. Some of you
written in emails that I'm going to get to you
in a second here, and I just disagree strenuously. And
we can agree on ninety percent or ninety five percent
of stuff and on a few things not agree, and
that's fine. But I'm going to tell you when I
disagree strenuously. It is a monstrous and evil thing to
kill Brian Thompson. It's not just illegal, it's very illegal. Obviously,
it's a it should be a capital crime. There should

(53:35):
be a death penalty attached to this. There's not. But
it's a it's also evil to do this. And I'll
explain why that is. I'm not just going to throw
the words around. I'll explain and then people can agree
or disagree with me. But this is the kind of
stuff you expect from leftists. I want to start with that.
Here is a woman named Brianna Joy Gray who I
actually debated on healthcare at politic Con many years ago.

(53:59):
She's honestly, she's just not very knowledgeable about anything. She's
kind of a standard leftist talking point socialist person. I
get it. And here she is telling you what she
really thinks about the assassination of Brian Thompson Play twenty eight.
Do you feel any empathy for Brian Thompson in his family?

Speaker 5 (54:21):
I have infinite empathy for any individual as a person
in their personal capacity, as his role as the CEO
of United Healthcare. I'm afraid I'm with the overwhelming majority,
bipartisan majority of the American people who say I am
saving my empathy for people who are much more vulnerable,
much more vulnerable, and a lot and have caused a
lot of life.

Speaker 6 (54:39):
So to be clear, you don't have any empathy for
him after he was executed.

Speaker 5 (54:42):
I personally don't.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
Do you hear that I have no empathy for this
man who was executed? What did he do? By the way,
if you look at his story, you know he's a guy.
He's like a kind of an all American guy. Grew up,
didn't have rich parents when I went to state school.
You know, built his way up, worked a bunch of
different jobs, And you don't have any empathy for him

(55:06):
because some lunatic who's bitter and it is a crazy
assassin guns him down in the streets of New York City.
This isn't this is a thing that crazy people say.
This is nuts. And and here I'm gonna I'm gonna
give you.

Speaker 2 (55:21):
Now.

Speaker 1 (55:21):
You might just say, well, these are leftists, and they are.
I can come, I can come out in a second
here with some people who including listen to the show.
Got some emails people it's say, look, I understand why
there's all this sympathy for this sympathy for the assassination,
not for the guy who was killed. This is nuts.

(55:42):
And also I just want to establish this right now
for everybody. If your moral principle is, and I think
it's an immoral principle, but if your framework for this
is I don't like what's going on in this industry,
Therefore people are going to have, you know, terrible things
should happen to them. Let's just put it that way,
all right. So then, how do people feel about abortion clinics?

(56:05):
How do people feel about transgender surgery for miners? How
do people feel? Go down the list of things of
industries of businesses that are legal, are lawful and have
some pretty nasty outcomes. I mean, you know, worse than that,
but just for our purpose, it's pretty nasty situations. So

(56:27):
can people take their law to their own hands? Is
that what goes on? That that's going to be the
way that we handle things. No, this is how a
society devolves into chaos, anarchy and violence. We have to
have lines here. And if Brian Thompson was doing wrong
as CEO, people should sue him or sue United and
take it to court. And out of people say, oh,

(56:48):
but what about it takes too long and all these
other things. We stop electing people that are promising you
free healthcare, and you know, stop thinking that to anybody
who agrees with this kind of or you know, sympathizes
with this whatever, stop thinking the government's gonna fix your problems.
That's an unconservative principle. The government is not going to
fix this. In fact, the government has made it far,

(57:11):
far worse, just as it does everywhere else. And for
people say, what about all these denials from the healthcare companies. Okay,
if we didn't have if we didn't have them and
we had the system that we do, you know, you'd
have the government doing it. You'd have a government bureaucrat saying, yeah, no,
I'm not going to approve this surgery, sorry, just like
they do in Canada, Just like they do with the
National Health Service in the UK. You have people sitting

(57:32):
around for years in misery. Our health outcomes for the
actual procedures are actually better than what they are in
these other countries. The entire world gets a free ride
off of our R and D for the most part
when it comes to big farm and drugs. By the way,
I'm not not something like big pharmacial how dare you? Uh?
But I'm just trying to be realistic about this because
I see this this is coming on the coming from

(57:54):
people on the right now too. Well, yeah, he's a
really bad you know. The he had it coming, that
he had it coming attitude from people is gross. It's wrong,
and it's not conservative, it's it's not rule of law based.
And I think it also just feeds into exactly what
the left wants. The left wants this right now. The

(58:15):
left and the Democrat Party feed on narcissistic malcontents. That
is their base, people who don't take accountability for why
their lives aren't what they think they should be people
who are bitter, people who want to blame others, and
people who want to act out like babies. That is
the base of the Democrat Party. We are not that.

(58:36):
We cannot become that because then they win, and they
are the ones who say things like, yeah, bad CEO
is gonna get God sometimes and that's okay, just morally,
obduse wrong on every level. And for somebody to go
on Peers Morgan show and just tell it like that,
you know, some leftist commentator to go and say that

(58:58):
is grotesque. We cannot become the enemy because we live
in an imperfect world. We're always going to live in
an imperfect world. And if anyone want to call in
a fight with me on this, by all means. But
I'm not saying that United Healthcare isn't maybe denying far
too many claims, so we don't need to fix things whatever.
But you just can't go and shoot people because you
don't like the way a company is lawfully functioning in

(59:19):
the United States. That's it. I mean, I've already heard
all these stories from second third hand about you know,
this CEO or that CEO is scared. Now they're going
to get protection what about their business, what about their competitors.
This leads down a very dark pathway, and I think
we need to be very clear on this is wrong.
This is evil. This is not how you do things.

(59:42):
This is how communists do things. This is how authoritarian
leftists do things. It's not how we do things. All right,
This Christmas, as we celebrate the gift of life, you
have an opportunity to share that same gift with a
pregnant mother and her unborn baby. Imagine a young woman
when facing an unplanned pregnancy, feeling alone and unsure of

(01:00:03):
what to do. That's where preborn ministries are most helpful.
They operate preborn clinics nationwide. Every one of these locations
is set up to welcome these moms and provide hope
and support and help them get to know their unborn
child with the gift of an ultrasound Because so often
for mom, meeting that unborn baby via ultrasound, hearing the
heartbeat of her baby baby makes all the difference. And

(01:00:24):
if that mother was contemplating an abortion, making that emotional
connection with the baby in the womb so often leads
her toward the decision for life. One of these women
is Deanna. She already had eight children and she was
in a tough marriage. The thought of another child was
more than she thought she could bear. She tried to
order the abortion pill, but thankfully it never came. At

(01:00:45):
eighteen weeks a long, Dianna visited a Preborn Network clinic.
While getting her ultrasound, her baby moved her hands as
if to wave at her. That was all Deanna needed
to see. The decision was made for life. This Christmas,
for just twenty eight dollars, you can help save life,
and thanks to a special matching grant, your gift is doubled.
To donate, dial pound two fifty and say the keyword baby.

(01:01:07):
That's pound two fifty, Say baby, or go to preborn
dot com slash buck that's preborn dot com slash b
