Speaker 1 (00:00):
Third hour, Clay end Buck kicks off now play on
a flight back to Nashville. We were having a great
time over the weekend and into inauguration Monday. Great to
be in our nation's Catholic Yesterday, I think I can
finally feel my fingers and toes after having to walk
a few miles around all the barricades and the street
(00:20):
closures and everything else. But it was worth it. I
could feel the glow the warmth from all of the
assembled Trump voters on the streets of DC. Trump supporters
all over the place. It was like a Super Bowl
team celebrating the big win. And the cold wasn't going
(00:42):
to slow us down, even though it was like six
degrees last night or something, or felt like six degrees
last night. But it was a fantastic inauguration. I think
everybody had a really enjoyable time that I saw on
spokes to so many of you. Was great to see
a lot of you. We are so gratified, Clay and Ongen.
People come up and say they listen to the show
(01:02):
every day. We're even the most gratified. And people say
they listen every day for three hours if they can,
which I really appreciate. That that's the that's like the elite,
elite level of Clay and Buck listening is the all
three hours every day when you can you know, sometimes
you know you got to do something. But that's what
the podcast is for. By the way, if you ever
(01:22):
miss it, you can listen anytime on demand Donald with
the iHeartRadio app and check out the podcast. So, as
we've been discussing today, Trump has absolutely hit the accelerator
as soon as he stepped into the car, into the
driver's seat here of this presidency and is doing an
amazing job so far, an amazing job so far. And
(01:47):
I think here we go. We've got Trump signing all
these different executive orders. He has also purged this is
New York Post, a thousand Biden appointee appointees. And this
is what I was saying, it's important, this is a
lesson from Trump's first term that people like me remember
(02:09):
I have voted for Donald Trump three times in presidential elections.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Right.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
That just gives a sense of how long this has
been going on. Three different times. I've cast my vote
for Donald Trump twenty sixteen, twenty twenty, twenty twenty four,
and in the beginning back in twenty seventeen. I remember
he brought in people. They were outsiders, and the advantage
of being the outsider, well we all know what those were, right,
(02:34):
not not encumbered by the ties to the swamp and
the fealty to the bureaucratic machinery of DC and all
the rest of it. The downside, though, is, oh, there
are so many ways that the system, the swamp and
all the bureaucrats try to prevent the kinds of policy
(02:58):
change and sweeping decision making that Donald Trump needed to
get going. So that was a challenge. It was getting
the right people in place, and also not having the
wrong people in place, which is where this purge of
the Biden appointees I think really comes into play. Our
(03:23):
first day in the White House is not over yet.
My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of
identifying and removing over a thousand presidential appointees from the
previous administration who were not aligned with our vision to
make America great again. This was on truth social Let
this serve as official notice of dismissal for these four individuals,
(03:45):
with many more coming soon. You're fired, you know. And
so Trump, with his usual rhetorical flourish. Here, let's give
you some of the people who are on this list
that are now gone. You have Brian Hook from the
Wilson Center for Scholars, Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President's
(04:11):
Expert Council, Mark Milly from the National General, Millie Right
from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, and Jose Andres from
the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. He's a
restaurant tour in Washington, DC and very left wing and
very anti Trump. They are gone now, they are their
(04:34):
services are no longer needed. I know Millie's portrait has
also been removed from the Pentagon. It was up for
two weeks and it has already been taken down. So
they aren't They aren't just talking a big game this
new administration. They are taking action. And that means, as
(04:57):
I said, the right people and not the wrong people
in these decision making places in these agencies. Because this
was a strategy that unfortunately they used with some success
in the first Trump administration. You go back and remember this.
They they had people in the particularly places like the
(05:18):
State Department, initially with Rex Tellerson at the helm OH.
I should note Marco Rubio ninety nine to zero confirmation
vote for Secretary of State. So I mean as resounding
a consent from the Senate as you could possibly get
(05:39):
from Marco Rubio. So that's good for him. A Senate
Rubio seem to be Secretary of Rubio has had has
had quite a run, hasn't he in the Senate? And
then he ran against Trump? And I think that a
little rough there, and now he's Trumps secretary of State.
I always think this goes to a side of Trump
that doesn't get enough attention, which is the magnanimity that
(06:02):
he has toward people who want to be a part
of the mission and are willing to do what it
takes now and are willing to say I was wrong before,
I was wrong about you, sir, or I was wrong
on this issue, sir or both. But now I get it,
and now I want to be a part of the
team and I want to help. I mean, this even
(06:24):
applies to JD. Vance, who was very open about the
fact that he was a not a Trump supporter at
all in the twenty sixteen election cycle and has obviously
come around to the point where eight years later, here
is now as the vice president to Donald Trump. So
these are all indicators for me, I think for everybody
watching of the growth, and I would say the maturity
(06:49):
of the system that Trump is bringing to bear to
change the existing system of DC. Right. The team around
him and the people that he has bring in, they
learned some tough lessons from the first administration and they
are implementing right now those lessons. And this is really
(07:11):
really positive for all of us to see. And this
is what I was hoping the opening twenty four hours
of Trump's second term would look like. And there's so
many things that he has been pushing for and talking about.
You know, one of them, I'm just gonna say, you know,
the TikTok deal. We haven't really focused in on this much.
(07:31):
This is cut ten Uh. He has given a reprieve,
it seems to TikTok. I can tell you this TikTok
is still up and running and going and Trump is
figuring out what exactly is going to happen with it.
But this is quite a change from where things were.
This is cut ten play it.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
I may not do the dealer, I may do the deal.
TikTok is worthless, worthless if I don't approve it, and
has to close.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
I learned that from the people that own it.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
If I don't do the deal, it's worthless, it's worth nothing.
If I do the deal, it's worth maybe a trillion
dollars a trillion. So if I do the deal for
I'm talking about doing it for the United States.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
If I do the deal for.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
The United States, then I think we should get half.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
I think the US should be entitled.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
To get half of TikTok, And congratulations TikTok as a
good partner, and that would be worth you know, it
could be five hundred billion dollars.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
The numbers are crazy.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
So it looks like TikTok is going to there's going
to be some sort of a deal with this. It
is going been where we find that TikTok is a
huge platform. I know that even among conservatives. It's funny
I have more people that I have agreed with my
position than I realized recently because the BAM was coming up,
(08:48):
and that Ran Paul and I agree, Elon Musk and
I agree. There are a few others who just are
not comfortable with this idea, that banning to that this
threat to ban, and that there are other ways that
this could have been handled that. There's a bit of
hysteria around this, and I know people and I get
all the emails disagree with me. It's a Chinese spying app.
It's in charge of our propaganda. I don't actually think
(09:11):
that's true. As somebody who uses TikTok every day, I
see no Chinese propaganda on it. Okay, So I don't
use it every day, but when I do, when I
am scrolling through TikTok, it's maybe this is just because
the algorithm understands me so well. It's cooking steak puppies,
tactical tips for firearms, workout tips and and history stuff.
(09:35):
So yes, TikTok apparently does know me quite well. But
I don't see how these aren't things that could have
been addressed without having to pass this legislation. Remember Trump
didn't do this, Biden did this, and Republicans went along
with it in the Congress. So I think that he
is going to save it. I think that that's going
to be interesting. What other thing that came up? I
have not forgotten about this. Remember when there was the
(10:00):
the stories were just all over the place about these
drones that were popping up. It was The biggest thing
in the country for about a week was there were
all these drone sightings happening, and the government said they
don't know what it is. He said, it probably is nothing,
and then people said, no, no, it's something. They said, okay,
it's something, but we don't know what it is. The
whole thing seemed like a mess. It seemed like a mess.
(10:23):
Something was going on there. Well, Trump has has this,
has cut seven, has ordered his White House Chief of
staff to find out what the heck was going on
with all those drones. I think it's I think it's Sarah.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I would I would like to find out what it
is and tell the people. In fact, i'd like to
do that.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Could we find out what that was?
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Susy? Okay, yeah, why don't we find out immediately? Maybe
I can't imagine it's an enemy or there would have
been you know, people would have gotten blown up all
but maybe they were testing things. I don't know why
they wouldn't have said what it was. I had a
lot of them flying over at Leinster, which is interesting.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
It is interesting. I would also say this that that
we will get answers on this is a good thing.
And I my sense is that it won't be a
particularly that the answers won't be all that interesting. I also,
and I'm just telling you, I could be wrong. I
think on this I won't be I know that Trump
is going to release information about the JFK assassination and
(11:32):
a couple of there are a couple of other things
that are in the in the stack of old but
still classified that there's a lot of interest in and
some conspiracies around whatever may be about. I haven't seen.
I was not an important person in the CIA. I
was just a worker b in the CIA. But I
(11:53):
have not seen the JFK files or anything. So I
could just say that right off the bat. I think
when this stuff does eventually get released by Trump, releasing
it is the right thing. It's not going to be
very interesting. I know it's very disappointing to hear. I
know people think and they believe, Oh, it's good, we're
gonna find out that, you know, our own government had
JFK killed or something. We're not. In my opinion, I
(12:13):
could be wrong. We'll see. The good news is we
don't have to argue about it. You don't have to
convince me one way or the other. Because we'll see
when this stuff is released. I'm just telling you, they'll
get your hopes up that it's going to be really interesting.
I think it's going to be pretty boring. And I
know this, or rather I believe this, because I have
an understanding of government's ability to come up with the
(12:36):
most obscure and pointless justifications for keeping things secret. I've
seen them do it. I know how they do this stuff,
and they get very fixed on it for things that
are pointless, for things that are no one cares about.
There's oh, no one can know about this, or no
one can find Usually if it's if there's even just
a hint of government embarrassment for an agency, they'll try.
(12:59):
And by the way, that's against the classification guidelines. They're
not supposed to do that, but they do it all
the time. So I believe one, Trump should release the
JFK files. Two it won't be very interesting. So and
mark me down on this one. I will hold myself accountable.
(13:20):
If there are bombshell revelations that come out of that,
I'll be the first to say that I was wrong.
But I mean, I knew that there wasn't gonna be
anything in Trump's tax returns. I know only Democrats thought that,
but that was the most obvious thing in the world. Oh,
the federal government already has it, but we're going to
find out that he's doing crazy stuff in his tax returns.
That it was absurd, right, it was secret because it
(13:42):
was private, because that's the right of any American citizen
to not have their tax returns just leaked out to
the public. Although as we know that somebody did leak
some of Trump's tax returns. So those are some other
things that are in the offing right now, things that
are going to be happening here imminently that some are
more important than others. But the doc band, the release
of information and getting rid of some of these Biden
(14:05):
Democrat holdouts. Trump can find great people aligned with the
mission for every appointee role, and there's no reason to
allow people who are opposed to the Trump mission to
stay in a government appointee position and keep doing what
they're doing. So, yeah, that's that's something that I was
very pleased to see. You know, we witnessed history yesterday
(14:30):
and a renewed pride in our country and people are
talking about a golden age. With that pride comes a
respect for our founding documents, including the US Constitution, but
how well do you actually know it? For a lot
of us, it's been a while since we were in
school learning about it, which is why our friends at
Hillsdale College created an incredible learning series for anyone at
any age to learn it all over again. It's free
(14:51):
and you can register at Clayandbuck for Hillsdale dot com.
The professors at Hillsdale not only have Constitution one oh one,
they also offered dozens of other subjects too, like the
Roman Empire, Winston Churchill, the greatest books ever written, so
many topics. They're nearly forty series in all, and they're
all free. Hillsdale has produced each one with high quality production.

get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Welcome back into Clay and Buck.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
You know.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Gonna happen, but sure enough, there were there's already been
some pushback on Trump and on everything that's going on here,
this time coming from a a national prayer service. Well,
we'll get to you here at the bottom. But the
(16:05):
first family and the second family, right, Trump and his family, JD.
Vance and his family lectured by a member of the
clergy about some things, which is, let me tell you,
not stuff that they need to hear. It's not appropriate.
But the Democrats are gonna get increasingly desperate, I think,
(16:30):
and you're going to see things get pretty ugly from
some of these pundits, channels, public figures, you name it,
who are just they're furious about the fact that Donald
Trump has won this sweeping victory. They don't really know
what argument to make. What are they gonna say it
should have been Biden? Well, we all know what happened
(16:51):
with Biden. They lied about his dementia and then we
caught them and then it was too late for them, right,
And then they put forward Kamala Harris, who is a disastrous,
a disastrous candidate. So I'm sorry because I said Kamala
in the primary. They put forward Kamala as the general
(17:13):
election candidate, and she was absolutely terrible. So they have nothing,
nothing going on there, and I think that they're gonna
get desperate. They're gonna start saying things. They're gonna start
saying things that to me are more and more off
the wall. Eventually they will coalesce around some kind of
(17:37):
a message. Eventually they will have I think it'll be
around deportations. I think that's the most likely scenario. So
there we have it. We'll we'll dive into this some more.
I want to play the audio I didn't have time
for you. I'll play the audio from this National Prayer breakfast.
You can hear what I'm talking about. We'll get to
that here in a moment. Keeping your family safe as
job number one. Saber security products can help get the
(17:59):
job done on Saber has safeguarded more than one hundred
thousand people over the last fifty years. Their pepper sprays
and gels are made in the USA. With hundreds of
thousands of reviews averaging four point seven stars, Saber Home
Defense Projectile Launcher stands as the ultimate choice for protection.
Sabers projectiles pack a serious punch, and even if you miss,
they create a six foot pepper cloud upon impact, causing
(18:21):
inten censor irritation for anyone within its reach. Plus, Saber
is the only zero point six to eight caliber launcher
with a seven projectile capacity that gives you up to
forty percent more stopping power than other brands. Protect yourself
and your family and say fifteen percent on Sabers mega

four eight two four safe. That's eight four four eight
two four safe. Welcome back in here to Clay and Buck. Okay,
so let's talk about this National Prayer Service that just
that just happened. You have. This is at Washington National Cathedral.
(19:10):
It just happened this morning. So last night's amazing executors
coming through a lot of really positive things moving, things
moving in the right direction. And there was a a reverend.
I believe I'm trying to find the right designation for
the individual speaking here, a member of the clergy in
(19:33):
the National Cathedral. I think addressed to their to their faces.
The president, his wife, vice president, his wife, family members
all gathered there and this is what she decided to say.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Listen to it in the name of our God, I
ask you to have mercy upon the people in our
country who we're scared now. There are gay, lesbian and
transgender children in Democratic, Republican and independent families, some who
(20:10):
fear for their lives. And the people the people who
pick our crops and clean our office buildings, who labor
in poultry farms and meatpacking plants, who wash the dishes
after we eat in restaurants, and work the night shifts
in hospitals. They may not be citizens or have the
(20:31):
proper documentation, but the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals.
They pay taxes and our good neighbors. They are faithful
members of our churches and mosques, synagogues, widara and temples.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
Yeah, afraid for their lives? Why are they afraid? What
is they're being afraid for their lives? Have to do
with with Donald Trump exactly and the new administration. I'm
talking now about the members of the LGBTQ plus it
really just trans individuals. There's Trump is actually the president
(21:16):
who ran and held a gay Pride flag up on
stage when it was running back in twenty sixteen. Has
many members of the gay and lesbian community who are
senior in his administration. So they tried this for a while,
but I think actually the I'm trying to think of
(21:37):
which which letters specifically here, but the gay community, the
lesbian communities country, Trump is not anti them at all,
takes note, has taken no actions that are against them.
Is the fact, quite warm, welcoming and supportive of them,
and brings them into his administration. So so that just
doesn't work that trying to fold it all in together.
It's on the issue of men and women are men
(21:58):
and women and the tens component of this where the
left is upset. But I just think, first of all,
this is wildly inappropriate. I know people say, oh, they're
just calling for mercy. Remember the left calls for mercy
while they're smashing you in the face. Right, the left
claim to be the Democrats. This whole mindset, these progressives,
(22:19):
however you want to describe them. They claim they will
claim victimhood while they are victimizing you. And that is
very much something that we have to be aware of.
You know, they will use your empathy against you. They
(22:40):
will they will say, oh, no, I just I just
want to be I just want to be treated like
a human being. I just want basic rights I just
want they make these entreaties, but really what they want
is for you to be a party to a lie.
They want you to go along with their madness. They
want to use the state, the authority of the state
(23:02):
and state power to oppress your rights, your actual constitutional rights.
And I think we've all had enough of this, but
it wasn't surprising. Oh and then on the point about immigrants,
I look, a lot of different religious a lot of Christians.
I'll speak about it in the Christian context, A lot
of different Christian religious leaders, Catholic religious leaders in this
(23:24):
country are effectively open borders. I mean, they are particularly
I think wrong on this issue because they are excusing
violations of law that are violations of our sovereignty as
a nation. And at the same time, they don't say, well,
(23:46):
the government, you know, here's just a quick way of
putting this. They will claim like, if you don't, if
you don't want illegals by the millions to come into
the country, you're not being Christian. This is a version
of what you'll hear you're being a Christian. And then
(24:06):
you try and you say, well, hold on a second,
do they ever complain about the fact that the government
under threat of imprisonment, takes arbitrary some of money. They
just come up with this, right, I mean, yeah, it's
legislation or whatever. But as we know, the tax code
is a mess and it's in many ways very rigged
and very unfair. But they will demand payment, and if
(24:29):
you don't pay, they'll put you in prison. They don't
have any problem with that. Right. They take your freedom
away and ruin your life as an American citizen if
you don't want to pay your taxes. But people that
want to come here illegally and get access to what
those taxes support and pay for, and get access to
(24:49):
welfare that they're actually not legally even entitled to. All
of this, you see, it's it's only the one part
of the issue that they want to begin to address
and not the rest. Anyway. Look, I don't think Trump
cares that some member of the of the clergy or
whatever was lecturing them about this, But it just goes
(25:10):
to the hysterical tone that so many people have. And
just because somebody is doing it from behind a whether
it's a Roman collar or vestment of some kind or
whatever it may be, it does not mean that they
have a handle on what's actually best for the country
right now, and they should probably stick more to the
(25:31):
spiritual and less to partisan politics. But it's not a
surprise that this is going to happen, and you're going
to see a lot more of this. In fact, on
the media reaction to this, this is what I thought
was particularly funny. This is Stephanie Rule over at MSNBC.
I don't even know anyone's watching MSNBC these days. As
you all know, I have stopped watching Mourning Joe. I
(25:53):
have stopped watching Mourning Joe because it is boring. Now
they are not havingston meltdowns about the looming fascism in
the end of America and all this stuff, So now
it's just kind of a watered down Democrat news broadcast.
But Stephanie Rule was over there, and she well listen
to what she has to say. She's an MSNBC pundit.
(26:15):
Plate twelve.
Speaker 5 (26:16):
It is day one of the second Trump administration. Donald
Trump has been president for a grand total of eleven hours,
and he wasted no time imposing his will on American government. Tonight,
he announced he was pardoning or commuting the sentences of
virtually everyone involved in the January sixth attack on the Capitol.
That includes Stuart Rhodes, remember that name, the founder of
(26:40):
the Oathkeepers, and Enrique A. Tario, the former leader of
the Proud Boys. Both of these men were tried in
federal court and convicted of seditious conspiracy. The conspiracy. Donald
Trump also signed an order redefining birthright citizenship.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Wasted no time imposing his will on American government. Yeah,
you mean, he's president and he signed executive orders. Now,
I mean, this is this is why we have elections.
So you put this person in charge, you make this
person the president by the will of the people and
trusted with powers because of the vote of the people,
(27:19):
and then they make that individual. In this case, Donald
Trump makes decisions that are in line with hopefully the
promises and the base of governing philosophy that they brought
to bear in the election cycle. And that's exactly what
we are seeing. And the opposition to this, I think
(27:39):
is hampered on so many levels. Or the efforts to
try to undermine these early days of Donald Trump's presidency
they're very weak. I mean, the efforts are like little
squeaks from way up in the rafters or you know,
way up in the bleachers or something. I mean, there's
(28:00):
no unified, cohesive anti Trump messaging in existence right now.
There's just whining and bitterness from people who didn't want
this to happen and who really take no accountability or
responsibility whatsoever for what has gone on here with their
(28:24):
own party, which is the degradation of the Democrat Party
into one that is willing to put a dementia patient
not only in office and lie about it while he
is the President of the United States, which what they
did with the Joe Biden, but then to continue that
lie deep into an election cycle and then have it
(28:47):
undone only by the plane reality of the obvious decline
and dementia that we all saw in that debate, and
then as we know, the whole Kamala debacle. She's a unique, untalented, uncharming,
incapable politician. And so sure, yeah, this is where we
(29:08):
are now. We have Trump in part because yes, there's
a lot of great ideas and he's brilliance of Trump
and the political powers he has and everything, you know,
the skill set that he brings to very yes, that's
all true, of course, but also what the other side did.
They lost their minds, They acted like a bunch of
(29:30):
crazy people. From the top down and all the way across.
They acted like a bunch of lunatics. And there are
consequences to that as well. It turns out that the
American people, when confronted with a party that has decided
it will lie, it'll make lies about clear things, about
(29:55):
the most obvious things mandatory. There is a pushback to that,
and there are people who say enough is enough. And
this is why you've had so many Democrats crossing over.
You know, they're upset about Wait, where is he? It's
Brad Stelter. Is he back at c it ED? I
think he's back at c it ED. They got rid
(30:17):
of him and they brought him back. I don't know why,
but they did. Here this cup thirteen, calling this the
inauguration of the Oligarchs. Play it.
Speaker 6 (30:26):
This was the inauguration of the oligarchs. It was a
turning point in American history to have these men, these
tech CEOs, almost front and center with Trump, and not
just at the ceremony. We're also showing scenes from the
weekend at some of these parties, some of these galas
where Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos and others were hanging
out talking shop. We know Elon Musk is the tech
ceo closest to Trump personally, but these other moguls are
(30:47):
trying to make sure they are cozying up to the
incoming president as well. And I think we should take
a stock at this and say, why are these men
so rich? Why do they have so much power? It's
kind of because of us. We're the users. We're the
ones using their platforms, We're the ones buying ads and
products on their place. So that is where the power.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
Yeah, enough of stella now, but but the inauguration of
the oligarchs. These are all people whose companies and as
individuals in many cases, we're supporting Democrats until about five
minutes ago. I mean, Elon Musk has been red pilled.
He has changed because he's seen what the Democrats do.
He's paid more attention by his own admission to what
Democrats and what wokeness has done to this country. But
(31:23):
Jeff Bezos Amazon, Amazon kicked Parlor off of the Internet
effectively in the twenty twenty election cycle, remember that we
were talking about at the start of the show. And
you know, I just think that it's so it's become
so clear to people as well, in part because of
X and the ability to share information more freely. Now
(31:43):
it's become so clear to people that Democrats there's no
standard they apply to any of this. You're not an oligarch,
you know, George Soros is a philanthropist because he supports,
with huge amounts of money, very left wing policy that
undermines this nation to its core and at its foundations.
(32:05):
But you know, he's a philanthropist. But anyone worth billions
of dollars who even aligns with the right on some
issues is, as Bernie Sanders would say, an olive gaw
because they have no standard. They just want power, They
just want their team to win. I'm almost at the
point now where I feel like a boxer who can't
(32:27):
find an opponent. Who am I to fight with in public?
Speaker 2 (32:30):
Now?
Speaker 1 (32:30):
What is the message from the other side? Who are
they going to put forward to try to convince the
American people that Donald Trump is not going to do
a great job, does not have a great agenda. Right now,
it's a deafening silence for the most part, Like I said,
a little bit of chirping here and there, but they
(32:50):
got nothing. You know, Starting this week, we're going to
see a lot of legislation and a busy agenda from
President Trump's new administration. And as excited as we are,
long term problems this administration is going to have is
addressing our national debt. It's a huge contributor to our
inflation problem. Massive issue. It's not easily solved. Even as
President Trump and others are effective at reducing the size
(33:11):
of government, It's going to be a long time before
we can even balance a budget, let alone start to
really hack away at the thirty six trillion dollar debt.

Let me closing up shop here momentarily on Clay and Buck.
So please go subscribe to the Clay and Buck podcast network.
So many great shows on there. I saw Scooter Dixon
in DC. She's got a podcast. There's got Sean Parnell,
our friend Ryan ger Dusky. It's a numbers game, great
data breakdowns of the political and political world. Then beyond
(34:36):
go check that out. So just go to Clay and
Buck on the iHeart app or forget your podcasts and
check that out. I knew I was. I knew I
was poking the bear a little bit with the comments
I made about the JFK files. Okay, I know, I know.
Oh everywhere, Oh it's gonna be it's crazy. Let me
tell you a little secret about this. Well, for you
(34:56):
know what, first we get here's Salt Lake listener on
our talk back here. This is AA so play this one.
If there was nothing there in the JFK files, then
why the delay in releasing them? If it's just boring information? Well,
like I said, one government is not always rational or
(35:16):
reasonable at all of it. It's usually not rational or
reasonable about this issue. I could be wrong, but I'm
saying I could be wrong on this. Maybe it's gonna
be awesome, huge revelation. Here's the bigger one. If something
is really really interesting and it is secret, it does
not stay secret for long. Stuff happens to show. Maybe
(35:40):
they can suppress it for a while. Maybe they can,
but you know they're going to have to go to
really extreme lengths. I'm what I mean is if somebody
was able to if there were files that proved I
can't believe we're talking conspiracy theories, Yester show you know
what one of these days, if there were files that
proved that the US government was involved in and taking
(36:02):
out a president, right CIA or whatever, somebody would say
something and would have come forward with the files. In
my opinion, I don't think what's really think about so
many I could sit here and talk to you about
so many different things that were so secret at different point.
Now it's all it comes out. It's very hard, it's
not impossible. It's very hard for the government to keep
(36:24):
a secret that's really interesting for a really long period
of time. I'm just one of Buck's theorems. You get
dis Look Trump, we don't have to argue. Trump's gonna
release it. He says he's gonna release it. He's gonna
release it, and we shall see. But if I'm right,
I'm gonna say I told you so, all right. I
just you know, because a lot of other people, oh
my gosh, when you see these files. I'll tell you
(36:48):
when there's something really interesting in my mind going on,
I don't think that's the one. I'm gonna go scroll TikTok. Now,
see you guys tomorrow
