Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, second hour of play and Buck kicks off.
Now we're joined by White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly. Anna,
welcome to the program. Thanks for being here with us.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Thanks so much. Fuck, I'm so excited to be here.
And that's a great song you had on in the break,
by the way, I really enjoyed them.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Well, thank you very much. We try to have the
good tunes, the good tunes flowing. So a lot going
on this week and a lot of back and forth already,
Let's start with the economy tariff situation. What should everybody know?
Because if you you know, when I go to the gym,
for example, they have these different channels on. They do

(00:37):
have Fox on in the gym down here because I'm
in South Florida, but a lot of like the financial channels,
and it almost feels like they want everybody to panic
every time the President speaks the word tariff. What should
everyone know about the plan here and where we're trying
to go?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Yeah, so I will share there are three goals for
these cares right. Number one is restrictions. So we are
helping our domestic industries by pushing these exports, making sure
that American companies can send made in America goods all
around the world, making sure we're getting revenue from the
things we import. And then most importantly is reciprocity. So
in President Trump, finally, after decades, not just the past

(01:15):
four years, especially the past four years, but really decades
of unfair trading practices that have long took advantage of
American farmers and workers, President Trump is finally saying, look,
American farmers, workers, manufacturers deserve a level playing field. So
these tariffs are finally making sure that we are leveling
the playing field, enacting the same tariffs that these countries

(01:36):
around the world have imposts on us for years. This
makes common sense and it makes sure that American farmers
and workers are able to send their goods around the world.
And by the way, those revenues are paying dividends. We
had ten thousand new manufacturing jobs last month. We have
positive job growth in the private sector. That's what the
American people want, That's what we want in this building
is a strong economy in the private sector that is

(02:00):
benefiting from a level playing field.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Finally, what also is is your what is the feeling
of the President and this White House on how to
handle the slew of these judicial universal injunctions that have
come down. I told everybody before you came on an
that the Biden administration had fewer of these against and

(02:24):
it did some very unconstitutional and just aggressive, and I
would offer unlawful things in the executive branch. But more
in one month for Trump than three years of Biden.
Is the strategy here just to take it to the
Supreme Court? Does the White House say that there may
be other options down down the road? What should we

(02:44):
know about this?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Well, yeah, here's what we know. You're exactly right. There
were fifteen efforts in February alone by these activist judges
who seize the president's power of specifically hiring and firing
from the executive branch. We in this build believe, and
I think the American people understand that the president has
the authority to exercise the power of the executive branch.

(03:06):
That means hiring people, that means firing people, and ultimately
that means delivering on the American people's mandates to eliminate
wasteful spending, to shrink our federal workers, and ultimately make
our federal workforce more efficient. That is to the benefit
of Americans across the country who benefit from federal services. So, yes,
we have these activist judges enacting these fifteen efforts to

(03:27):
crample down on the president's authority. We believe that is unjust.
We believe it is unconstitutional, and we will continue to
fight back against their efforts to seize the power of
the President of the United States to run his own
executive branch.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
We're speaking to a deputy White House Press Secretary, Anna Kelly,
and CBS News reported this a day ago. Trump to
invoke wartime Aillien Enemies Act of seventeen ninety eight to
carry out deportations to Guantanamo. What can you tell us
about this?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Well, I won't get ahead of the president's buck, but
here is what I will say. I know there is
a lot of talk in the mainstream media about suddenly
they are concerned about mass deportations and the pace of that.
Guess what, we actually just found out recently that Biden
was fudging his numbers on these deportations. They were arresting
aliens and then letting them back into our country. That
is a universally unpopular policy. That is part of what

(04:22):
helps propel President Jumps to victory in November because American
people do not want these migrant criminals invading our country.
Here's what we do, no buck, we made thirty two thousand,
over thirty two thousand enforcement arrest in the first fifty
days of the Trump administration. To put that in perspective,
we made thirty three thousand I did at large arrests

(04:42):
in the fiscal year twenty twenty four alone. So I
won't get ahead of President's any specific policies that he
plans to impose. But we know that the President is
delivering on his promise to and ask the largest mass
deportation of migrant criminals in American history to stop the invasion. Because,
by the way, fourteen thousand of those we arrested so
far convicted criminals. Almost ten thousand have pending criminal charges.

(05:04):
So President Trump is doing what he protists. He is
getting justice for innocent Americans like Lake and Riley, who
like Jocelyn Nungerree, whose lives were brutally taken and unjustly
taken by migrant criminals who should have never been in
this country in.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
The first place. And I've seen some early data on
this and it's actually it actually comes from the Mexican
government side of the border. But we know that official
numbers already for illegal migrant crossings are way down. I
think ninety five percent plus is where they are. But
you know in a way that it shows that the

(05:39):
President is keeping his promise to secure the border, and
also that the previous administration intentionally allowed the border to
be wide open for anybody to cross over, and that
thankfully has come to an end. Do we have data
yet or can you tell us when we will?

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Though?

Speaker 1 (05:54):
On the plummeting sentanyl seizures at the border as well,
because I know that there's the government of Mexico has
been claiming that fentanyl seizures are also way down on
their end of things, right, So do we have some
data on the drug numbers coming down as well?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Well? So CBP Customers and Border Patrol regularly puts out
these numbers. Unfortunately I don't have them in front of me,
but I'm will be sure to follow up and make
sure that you can share those with our listeners. But
I will say, you know, the President has vastly different
messaging to your point about encounters at the southern border.
I remember, I'm sure you remember your listeners, remember when
migrants were coming into the border in early twenty twenty one,

(06:37):
saying thank you Joe Biden for this open border, for
with a stroke of his pen, ondoing all the border
security measures that President Trump took in his first term.
President Trump is finally sending the message to migrant criminals
around the world saying do not come here. He is
telling migrant criminals who already are in the country to
self support otherwise we will find you and we will
support you. The messaging is vastly different, and I think

(07:00):
that is why you see those vastly different numbers. And
we're also holding the countries like Mexico and Canada accountable
for the influx of sentanyl that has come into our
country killing Americans. That's part of the terrifles as well.
So all in all, President Trump is finally sending the message,
after four years of sailor under Joe Biden, that enough
is enough. We will not accept these migrant criminals entering
our country killing Americans. We also won't accept this influx

(07:23):
of sentinel that is also destroying families across the country.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Can you tell us about this news story. I think
it was Politico that put it out initially about the
clearing out of classified by USAID and also the status
of the USAID building. I think you had to do
a little cleanup on Aisle. Fake news on that one
for Politico and others what actually happened there.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Yeah, so there was a so as you know, I'm
sure your listeners know USCID that building is soon to
be occupied by Customs and Border Patrol thankfully, so the
USCID employees were a natural really clearing out the building,
vacating the building, and undergoing a very normal process to
dispose of classified documents. And by the way, as I

(08:08):
said in my ex post, which I'm sure is what
you're pointing out, many of these were courtesy copies, So
that means these are documents that originated from other agencies
and were sent to USAID by a courtesy And by
the way, I'll add, I want to shout out fake
news NBC. They actually reached out to me at three
fifteen for their story on this published at three sixteen,

(08:28):
and then we had to walk or clean up all
this fake news that was spreading around and sewing chaos
really across the country. But this was a totally normal
process meant to dispose of classific copies of classified documents
that already existed by the way electronically as well in
secure computer systems, total fake news outreach.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Do you feel like the media is trying to be
a little bit less rab it in their anti trumpsm
in terms of the media that's covering this White House
day in day out. Have you started to see perhaps
just an attempt to be more, if not even handed,

(09:08):
at least more professional in how they approach this or
are things still pretty rough for those who are clearly
opposing the president with their coverage, You know, Buck, I.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Don't think they know what to do with themselves, because
we are having fun. Truly, we are winning every single day,
and I think they do acknowledge, you know, the fact
that President Trump not only won the election by a landslide,
but he won the popular vote. He is implementing policies
that the American people soundly support, and so they can try,
they can push their fake news narratives, they can try
and poke hold in what he's doing, But guess what

(09:41):
the approval is on our side. The American people overwhelmingly
support his agenda. They see that he is delivering on
the promises he made on the campaign trail to restore
our economy, to secure the southern border, to restore our
standing on the world stage. This is what the American
people want. He is delivering on his promises, and I
think that fake news don't know what to do with it.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Remarkable. How is it to be right in the center
of center of all the action here for a presidency
that is already transformational one month and I know you're
super busy and you say you're having fun. Must be
exciting stuff.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
It is so exciting. And again, we're winning every single
day and we're having so much fun that fake news
don't know what they know. They don't know how to
cover it because they're used to actually covering a president
who actually does think. Every single day, he is signing
more executive orders than any other president at this point
in his first or his second term. He is delivering
on the promises he made and it's really fun. I'm

(10:36):
not sure if you knew this that I was involved
in the campaign as well, and so I was able
to be part of all these promises being made. Watching
the enthusiasm among all these Americans across the country who
are so excited to finally see change after four years
of failure, and it's extremely exciting to be part of
the process in really helping correct all the mistakes over

(10:56):
the past four years.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
White House deput Press Secretary and Kelly come back again soon.
Thank you so much for being here and keep up
the great work.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Thanks so much. Buss Talksian.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
There's a very telling video that's online, one you want
to watch. I was there for the event to witness
a prediction of what may come in the way of
our financial markets. I want you to watch it this weekend,
in fact, if you get the chance. While I might
have helped to organize this online video event, it was
actually my dad, Mason Sexton Senior, who made the prediction
regarding the financial markets. This is my father's area of expertise.

(11:28):
I think you'll find it really interesting and possibly very
beneficial growing up. I grew up in a household where
the stock market was a big deal because my dad
worked in the markets for decades. He created a name
for himself on Wall Street by his forecast. The most
notable one was calling the crash of eighty seven. His
predictions are too numerous to get into here, but he
called the crash in two thousand and nine as well.

(11:50):
This is a guy who sees what's coming, and you
can still see his prediction, his forecast for the future
when you just go to this website. It's free to watch.
Disruption twenty five dot com again free to go watch
the prediction and see if you want to take action
based on it. Disruption twenty twenty five dot com paid
for by Paradigm Press.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
Want to begin to know when you're on the go
the Team forty seven podcasts Trump highlights from the week
some days at noon Eastern in the Klayanbug podcast feed.
Find it on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Get your podcasts. I think the left and the Democrats
are having a tough time with this Trump administration, and
that's putting it a mile. They don't know what to do,
they don't know who to turn to. They are floundering
right now. They're having a tough one and over on well,

(12:46):
first of all, Chuck Schumer, this has cut six. Chuck
Schumer called Republicans bastards, really play six to.

Speaker 5 (12:55):
Have the conflict on the best bround. We have summed
up in a sentence that they're making the middle class
pay for tax cuts for billionaires. It's much much better
not to be in the middle of a shutdown, which
to divert people from the number one issue we have
against these bastards, sorry, these people, which is not only
all these cuts, but they're ruining democracy.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
I mean, do you hear this? He calls the bastards
and then he says they're ruining democracy. What does that
even mean? The Republicans are in charge because of our
democratic process. I know, we're republic, not a democracy, but
we have a democratic we have democratic elections within the republic, right,
so or you know, democratic ideals that we espouse within

(13:41):
the republic. The uh, this just doesn't make any sense.
This is what I mean by their criticisms. It's not
that I disagree with them. They are not even wrong,
you know what I mean. There's something really off about them.
I think that they're in something of an emotional tumult,
which brings me to Joy Behar, who is out there

(14:03):
to tell everybody that it is the right, that is
the the right is a bunch of snowflakes. Place seven.

Speaker 6 (14:10):
They should have countered. The Pocahontas thing is just stupid.
And by the way, there's sex of snowflakes on the right.
If you say anything about them there, they're going to
the lawyers in two selves, you know. But he can
call people any names that he wants.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
No, it is Joy Bayhart not very smart, doesn't comprehend
or or chooses not to understand that. It's it's not
that they can't call us names. They've been calling us names.
The Democrats have been calling us names for ever. Uh
and you know, names that are very mean, saying that
we are sexist or racist, or fascists or Nazis or

(14:47):
any of these you know Republicans. Right, that's how they
that's what they call us. No, though they're allowed to
do that, what they're not allowed to do is call
somebody like U, call somebody, whether Donald Trump or anybody else,
a crop say that they've committed a crime that they
have not committed. Right, That's I think that's fair, and
I think that that's why we have the laws we

(15:08):
do about defamation, slander, libel, that you can be civilly held,
held in held responsible for this stuff. But she doesn't
know the difference, or doesn't care to know the difference.
She's just bitter that they had to keep doing that.
Wasn't it amazing? For a while they had to keep
doing the the walkbacks of the things that they had
said on the view, like, you know, Donald Trump has

(15:30):
not actually been proven guilty of I think they had
to deal with Matt Gates too, you know, Matt Gates
has not actually been charged or that's Matt Gates not
only was he not guilty of any crime, never charged
with any crime. And yet the things that the left
was saying all the time, you know, that's that's not
a surprise. And then there's probably the most extreme version

(15:51):
of Democrat despair, which is coming from Congresswoman Maxine Waters,
who is out there telling everyone who will listen that
Trump is, in fact working toward a civil war. Play eight.

Speaker 7 (16:08):
This president is putting us in a position where hungry
people are going to be on the street, where nonprofits
who were waiting for their checks are not going to
get them, Where seniors waiting for their Social Security check
will not get it, Where poor families with children will
not get what they believe the government has agreed to do.
And so when that happens, what does trumpet state? Oh,

(16:32):
I believe he expects violence. I believe he expects confrontation.
I believe he's working toward a civil.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
War, working toward a civil war. You will notice something here,
Even including people like Schumer who have been in the
game a long time at a high level of Democrat politics,
these people are nuts. There's something really the elevator doesn't
go to the top floor. There's a problem here. They

(17:01):
can't just operate in the world that we're in, which
is so far from Trump pushing anything toward a civil war.
We're talking about cutting fraud in the government. We're talking
about not allowing the continued invasion of our country across
our southern border, Sayer straits for people, a booming economy,
not getting into any wars. These are all objectively good things.

(17:25):
They're objectively good aims that not only are helpful for
Republicans but for all Americans. And you could argue the
second order effects of this would be good for the
whole world too, And Democrats are just completely freaked out
about it. Still, they have convinced themselves of the impossible,
which is, even though Trump is doing nothing but good

(17:47):
things so far in office, he is still he must
be evil anyway. You can't give these people new evidence
or new thinking doesn't compute for them. We grew up
all known Whenlwaukee talking right. It was a fun toy
for some people a helpful tool for others to use
on the job. They help people stay connected on a campus,
for instance, or at a sporting event or inside warehouses.

(18:09):
So what do you call a walkie talkie like device
that connects to cell phone towers and operates nationwide on
an LTE network. Rapid Radios, which is the name of
the company introducing these great products to all of you.
Rapid radios are ready to work right out of the box.
Just one touch of a button, you can connect with
a person or up to two hundred at a time,
depending on what you need. No matter how many people

(18:30):
you want to talk with, a rapid radio in your
hand can connect you with people thousands of miles away
just as easily as one hundred yards away. Go online
to see for yourself. Go to rapid radios dot com.
You'll get up to sixty percent off free ups shipping
from Michigan, plus a free protection bag. Add Code Radio
and get an extra five percent off. These Rapid radios
walkie talkies have batteries with the five day charge and

(18:52):
they last when you need the most. Go to rapid
radios dot com use Code Radio or welcome back into
Clay and Buck. I had mentioned this in the discussion
we had with the White House Deputy Press Secretary Ana Kelly.
There's all this reporting out there from various news outlets
about Trump invoking the Alien Enemies Act of seventeen ninety

(19:17):
eight to carry out deportations to Guantanamo. Let me read
you a little bit of this because I read it
and I say, sounds like a great idea. This is
from CBS News. President Trump is planning to invoke a
wartime law known as the Alien Enemies Act of seventeen
ninety eight as soon as Friday, meaning today, to authorize

(19:40):
the summary deportation of some migrants, including to Guantanamo Bay,
escalating his government wide immigration crackdown. Multiple US officials familiar
with the plan told CBS News. The two hundred and
twenty seven year old law gives presidents the extraordinary power

(20:00):
order the arrest, detention, and deportation of non citizens who
are fourteen years or older and come from countries staging
an invasion or predatory incursion of the US. Mister Trump
is expected to cite the eighteenth century statute to order

(20:20):
these swift attention and deportation of suspected members of the
Trend de Aragua, a Venezuelan gang with prison origins that
his administration has designated a foreign terrorist organization. Officials have
made preparations to send suspected gang members to the US
Naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, soon after mister Trump

(20:41):
invokes the Alien Enemies Act. At mister Trump's direction, officials
have been detaining some migrants awaiting deportation at the naval base,
though the wholing facilities were left empty earlier this week. Okay,
those subjects to the Alien Enemies Act would not be
allowed to have a court hearing or an asylum interview,
as they would be processed under emergent and see wartime authority.

(21:02):
They would be eligible to be detained and deported with
little to no do process under Title fifty. Sounds great
to me. What's the problem. It's a presidential authority. Notice
how they have to report this in such a way
that this is on the book. Still, this is on
the book. Still the president still has this power. Now,

(21:25):
I want to compare the way that CBS. That's why
I want to give you the background of that, but
also the way CBS this eighteenth century statute. Do you
think CBS was doing that kind of massaging of the
issue when they were using the Logan Act as a
pretext to go after General Flynn as the incoming Trump

(21:45):
national security advisor. No, right, the Logan Act was suddenly
very important to all these anti Trump voices in the media.
Oh the Logan Act. Meanwhile, in its two hundred plus
years of existence, it has never one's been used to
prosecute anybody successfully and put them in prison. I think
there have been a couple of times it was even

(22:07):
used to bring charges. No one ever convicted. The law
is just kind of an old, dusty law that no
one takes seriously until you have to jam up somebody
in Trump world, and then you pretend, and then you're
James Comy sank to Comy, and you use it to
spring a trap on the incoming national security advisor. One
of the dirtiest download things, one of the worst things

(22:30):
they did to Trump in that first administration. Pretend it
had the FBI director pretend that a phone call between
the Russian ambassador and the incoming national security advisor for
a new administration is some kind of huge national security
concerned and he's running his own foreign policy. When you
look back at that, mccomby's a bad guy. He's just

(22:52):
a bad guy. And I know that's not a surprise
to you. You know that too. But who does that
to be the FBI director and abuse your power in
that way. Well, thankfully we've got Cash Battel as director
and now Dan Bongino as deputy director, and things are
going to get cleaned up and be a whole lot

(23:14):
better than they were. But the invoking of the Alien
Enemies Act of seventeen ninety eight, this will be interesting
because it is on the books. The President has designated
groups that are transnational narco terrorist organizations like Trenda Aragua
as a foreign terrorist organization. So if you are part

(23:35):
of a foreign terrorist organization, if you were part of
Al Qaeda, wouldn't you be able to be deported back
to your country of origin under this law? It was
used in the past. The government used it to surveill
and detain Italian, German, and Japanese immigrants in World War Two.

(23:56):
So the invocation to target migrant from country with US
is not actively at war as almost certain to face
legal challenges. They're saying, okay, well, so that means that
a terrorist entity operating in the US. Because we're not
at war with the country that the terrorists are originating from,
we can't send them back. We'll see how that one goes.

(24:19):
I think you're certain to have some of these activist
anti Trump judges shut this down if in fact they
do this. I think they're going to do this. I
think they're preparing to do this. I think that they're
going to use the Guantanamo facility. And this is one
of those things where they should just do it and
do as much of it as they can. And we
start to get to this place where how long does

(24:40):
the executive branch listen to one random federal judge somewhere
in overriding policy. You'll note that Trump in the first administration,
every time, even when it was the most obvious bad
faith judicial overreach, every time there was any kind of
a challenge the administration from a federal judge, you know
what they did. You know what Trump did. The tyrant,

(25:02):
the authoritarian hitler said Okay, we'll see you in court.
And that's why he completely abided by the system at
every turn, even when the other side was using the
system in bad faith to just slow him down. They
knew they were going to get overturned on a bunch
of the things that they and they did are the
so called Muslim ban, right, and then they Trump ended

(25:25):
up winning on that. Oh he can't do that wasn't
a Muslim ban, but whatever. They just don't want him
to be able to do anything, and that's the operating authority,
or that's the operating ideology, and they just abuse their
authority to that end. That is absolutely what we see
happening here. So, yeah, the Alien Enemies Act of seventeen

(25:47):
ninety eight, I think this would be a strong move
because you have to use the authorities that the government,
that the executive branch already has to the absolute maximum.
If you're going to wait a round for Congress to
work together on some of this stuff, it's never going
to happen. And that's what Democrats want. They want the
continued destruction, the erosion and eventual destruction of our national

(26:13):
sovereignty through endless violations of our borders, endless violations of
our immigration laws. And they don't want to protect the
American people and the American citizens specifically from the predations
of groups like MS thirteen and trendo arragua. They won't
do it. It's in their power to do it, just
like it was in Joe Biden's power to shut down

(26:36):
crossings at the border, obviously because Donald Trump has done it,
but Biden wouldn't use the authority that he had. Right.
It's a bit like if you have a sheriff in
your town, and the sheriff has the right to arrest
people for whatever it may be. If a sheriff just
chooses not to arrest anybody, you don't need a new law,
you just need a new sheriff. Well, there's a new

(26:58):
sheriff in town now. His name is Donald Trump. Also,
want to get to the situation in NATO here for
a moment, because the if the Russia Ukraine war is
able to be brought to a ceasefire by Donald Trump,
honestly anytime in his first year, and I mean maybe
even in his first six months in office, it will

(27:20):
feel almost like a miracle because there was nothing, there
was not even any movement toward this when Biden was
in office. So you will watch, you will see this.
I want you to pay close attention to the coverage
of this at every step because ending a war and
saving a lot of lives in the process. As I
have said to you, should be something that everyone is

(27:41):
on board for. Every American should be on board for that, right.
But no, maybe not, because you know, we have to
see about the territory that's gonna end up in which
sides hands and Slava Ukrainian all this stuff. It's really
just about they don't want Trump to have the win.
As you know, they don't want Donald Trump to be
in a position where he can say, hey, not only

(28:03):
am I setting up a booming economy and securing the border,
I'm ending wars that Democrats blundered our ally into with Ukraine,
or at least we're unable to stop our ally from
getting pulled into. And beyond that, they really just want
to make sure that Donald Trump doesn't get the w

(28:26):
That's it. Everything is just about stopping him. On NATO.
You'll notice that there are a lot of people who
think themselves really erudite on the issue of national security
foreign policy, and they always say that Trump is so
so destructive to NATO. This has been a thing that
has been said about him the whole time. Well, no,

(28:50):
maybe he just sees a system that isn't operating the
way that it should, and he sees member countries that
aren't taking the actions that they have agreed to take
to uphold their end of the bargain. NATO Secretary General
Mark Ruta had this to say, this has cut four
about what Donald Trump has been able to do in

(29:12):
just the last few weeks. Listen in I.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
Must say trem forty five, you basically you originated the
fact that in Europe be now spending when you take
it to aggregate seven hundred billion more even defense than
when you came in office in twenty six and twenty seven.
But that was tream forty five. But then when you
look at stream forty seven, what happened the last couple
of weeks is really secreting the Europeans committing to a

(29:36):
package of eight hundred billion defense spending, the Germans now
and potentially up to half a trillion next time defense spending.
And then of course you has k starting the here,
the British Prime Minister and others all committing to much
higher defense spand if you're not there, you need to
do more. But I didn't want to work to get
it with you. In a run to the X summer
to make sure that you will have a NATO which
is really infigurated under your leadership.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
Notice you're not hearing a lot of this in the
commentary circles, the New York Times, Washington Posts, all the
rest of it. Donald Trump, in a matter of weeks
has helped bring together an eight hundred billion dollar defense
spending commitment from NATO partners in the European Union, or

(30:24):
from our European partners in NATO. Eight hundred billion dollars
that wasn't going to get spent. Now it's getting spent.
He say, look, you got to up your spending. It
doesn't make Trump a bad guy or Putin's puppet or
any of this stuff for him to say that the
Europeans are allies who have promised to have sufficient spending

(30:47):
for their own defense. Stop freeloading off of America. Stop
saying America protect this from Russia and do it themselves.
Get ready to do it themselves more and more. That
is absolutely what should be happening here. You know, they
want to just fund their bloated welfare states. They can

(31:10):
do that on somebody else's dime, providing their defense umbrella
for them. Okay, they have to step up. He's right,
and Trump even said this, says, look, he wants us.
For NATO to matter, it has to be strong. NATO
can't be Oh, we can't do anything without America because
then it's not an alliance. Then it's a dependency. This
has cut three play.

Speaker 8 (31:32):
You have to keep NATO strong, you have to keep
it relevant. But the biggest thing we have to worry
about right now is what's going on right now. I
think the rest is going to take care of itself.
I don't see this. This was a fluke. This was
something that if we had a competent president, it would
not have happened. The man was grossly incompetent.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Yeah, NATO has to be strong, and Biden was grossly incompetent.
And he just would glad hand and have that stupid
grin and act like he has some foreign policy knowledge
that we all needed, that needed to be imparted upon
all of us or something. Joe Biden is an absolute clown.
And that's before the dementia kicked in, and his entire

(32:13):
record on foreign policy and his record visa VI our allies.
They always say that our allies are so worried about Trump,
and then you actually get to sit and talk to
some of the allies. They go, No, he's right, we
do need we do need European nations to be more
capable of defending themselves. The notion that, oh, if we
don't keep backing Ukraine forever, Russia is going to roll

(32:33):
over all of the all of the European countries militarily
is going to roll tanks through Germany and Poland. And
that's one insane, it's not gonna happen. But two, if
that were true, you know what should happen. Europe should
get its act together and be able to stop Russia
from doing that. They've got hundreds of millions more people
and a heck of a lot more money, so you know,

(32:56):
it shouldn't all fall on us. This is just Trump
applying common sense to big problems in the world, and
it's not common. If you hear the DC commentary, it's
crazy stuff. Okay, Look, for a lot of people, the
end of the week is a time to celebrate with
a great meal. You know what I had last night?
True story, Kerry and I actually had Burger night here

(33:17):
and the burgers are from our friends at Good Ranchers.
Absolutely delicious. I'm gonna tell you what I did. I
took one Good Ranchers burger and I put a bunch
of sauteed onions, and then I put another Good Ranchers

little bit of cheese on top and maybe a little
bit more of those sauteed onions.

shortly by Tutor Dixon, who has a great show on
the Clay and Buck podcast network, and we're going to
talk to her about her event with JD vance up

booed JD at a Kennedy Center concert. He's there with
his wife. What classless, classless jerks. Honestly, jerks, these people are.

(35:18):
JD is just JD is awesome. You know, I thought
he was the right pick for VP. Some of you
doubted me, but now you all know he's fantastic, a
great asset to the Trump administration. So yeah, we'll talk
about the event that Tutor's doing with JD on manufacturing,
getting the economy up and running, get those egg prices down,
get those rates coming down, get a lot of great

(35:40):
things happening here. It's gonna take a little time. Little
time also gonna take a little time to go refill
