In Hour 3 of the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, the hosts deliver a gripping and emotionally charged breakdown of the official charges filed in the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA. This hour centers on the press conference held by Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray, who announced seven criminal charges against Tyler James Robinson, including aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering. The prosecution confirmed that the motive was political, citing Robinson’s targeting of Kirk due to his conservative views, and revealed the state’s intent to seek the death penalty.

The show provides extensive coverage of the legal details, including Robinson’s alleged efforts to hide the murder weapon, discard incriminating clothing, and instruct his roommate to delete texts and remain silent. The rifle used in the shooting was found wrapped in a towel, and shell casings were etched with disturbing messages. The hosts emphasize the premeditated nature of the crime, noting Robinson’s target practice boards and online confessions in Discord chats. They also highlight the presence of children at the event, which led to additional charges for committing a violent offense in front of minors.

Clay and Buck explore the broader implications of the case, including the radicalization of the assassin, who reportedly became more aligned with transgender activism and anti-MAGA sentiment. The hosts criticize the mainstream media’s initial attempts to mischaracterize the shooter’s political leanings and argue that the left’s rhetoric—particularly the notion that “words are violence”—has created a dangerous climate where political assassination is justified by extremists.

The hour also features an interview with Nate Morris, a U.S. Senate candidate in Kentucky, who was closely associated with Charlie Kirk and had Kirk’s support in launching his campaign. Morris condemns the radical left, calling out the transgender movement’s connection to recent political violence, and urges accountability from the mainstream media and political institutions. He positions himself as an America First outsider aiming to break the grip of establishment figures like Mitch McConnell.

In closing, the hosts briefly touch on breaking news about TikTok’s potential acquisition by Oracle, Silver Lake, and Andreessen Horowitz, signaling a major shift in tech and national security. They promise continued coverage of the Kirk case and related political fallout in future episodes.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
How right, everybody. Third hour of Play and Buck kicks
off right now. They have said they're going to be
announcing officially the charges for the alleged assassin of our
friend Charlie Kirk. Will bring you that live when we can,
should be within minutes. I think they've set up for it.

(00:21):
It has not yet started. They've got a feed going
out to Provote, Utah where they also may give some
updates into the case. Certainly they'll have more for us
on the legal positions that are being taken by the
prosecution at this point in time. So we are we're
monitoring that closely and we will bring that to you
as soon as we have it. I wanted to also

(00:43):
bring you cash Bettel was up at the up at
the Capitol Hill today and he is getting some well
what you would expect from some Democrat members of the Senate,
and he really had just had enough with Adam Schiff.
He decided that it was time for the gloves to

(01:03):
come off a bit. And this is what it sounded like.
Place the American people to believe that.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Do you think they're stupid?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
No, I think the American people believe the truth that
I'm not in the weeds on the everyday movements. In
what I am doing is protecting this country, providing historic
reforce and combatting the reponization of intelligence by the likes
of Europe. And we have towerlessly proven you to be
a lawyer in Russia Gate in January sixth. You are

(01:31):
the biggest brought to ever sing the United States Senate.
Disgrace to this time and an.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Utter calend I'm not surprised.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
I'm not surprised you continue to lie from your perch
and put on a show so you can go raise money.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
For your sharoo.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
You are political buffoon at best.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Get him cash, get him. I like it. I think
strong case to be made that Schiff is certainly, in
our era, the most disgraceful and dishonest member of the
United States Senate. I mean, there's some close competition, but
Schiff is a particularly oleaginous and disreputable figure.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Clay, yeah, and also just a proven liar.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Some people you disagree with, I'll give you an example,
Bernie Sanders. I think Bernie is wrong on pretty much
everything that he says economically.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
But I respect the fact that he believes what he.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Is arguing for, and I think he is an honest
in many ways advocate for the political philosophy he espouses.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
I mean, he's are socialists with four houses, but other
than that.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
But I at least respect that he's not trading completely
in falsehoods. I mean, Schiff was on correct me. If
I'm wrong, you remember this better than me. I think
Schiff was on some of the intelligence committees, and he said,
I've seen clear evidence that Trump is basically a Russian assets,

(03:00):
I mean, just a blatant liar, and he used his
position as the legitimizing basis for the lies that he told,
which is worse to me than just being wrong to
directly lie and use your perch on that intelligence committee
and claim, hey, I've seen a lot of things that

(03:20):
the American public has not that prove that my position
is correct, and it's all been proven to be just lies.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
And so I do think Cash calling him out there.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Is among the as among even the hypocrites, a high level.
And we should reinforce again that we are waiting for
the live press conference where we may get quite a
bit more information about the charges relating to the assassination
of Charlie Kirk. That press conference in Utah is being

(03:53):
brought to us shortly.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Have we already played the cut from cash from the
from up on the Hill with the Senate talking about
the broad network of groups? Do we already play?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I think we did.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
I think that was that Senator Hawley saying that there
was at least twenty people in that discord chat and
maybe more that were involved in potentially having advanced knowledge
about this attack. Now, remember, some of these prosecutions can
be very difficult because the defense that a lot of
these people could have is it's an online message board.

(04:26):
People lie all the time about everything. I didn't think
this was real. I didn't believe the guy when he said, Hey,
I'm gonna go kill Charlie Kirk. It's people lie all
the time on these message boards. You don't know who
they are. And so I think proving knowledge and some
intent of knowledge and all of these different aspects could
be very challenging to bring additional charge.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Worth noting that before the horrific assassination of Charlie, the
story that was a gut punch in its own right
for all of us was the murder of Arena, the
Ukrainian refugees on that light rail in North Carolina. You
know that the judge presiding over that the guy that's

(05:11):
on video stabbing order death, they've sent him to a
psyche vow he may not spend a day in prison.
I mean he'll be in some kind of a mental
health facility. Yes, you know, for the criminally insane. I
don't think they call I don't know what the terminology
is they use for that. Now they used to That's
what they used to say.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
We need to bring back insane asylums. That's one thing
that I think we should be doing. I was just
walking around in New York City. I was on the phone,
and the number of times in New York City now
that a crazy person just walks by screaming on the street.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
I don't remember that being normal. I mean, you live
here your.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Whole nights now, and in Midtown Manhattan there are more
people clearly in like drug induced stupor just like lying
on the street. I mean not even you know, like
kind of just plopping down and deciding that they're going
to have their fentanyl high. It's all over the place here,
and this is the thing that people talk about. Wait

(06:08):
do we have the is this the press conference is starting?
Let's go to this press conference.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Questions to that, but I understand that you're under pressure
and have a lot of different questions, and we'll try
to answer them. We're joined today by our sheriff, and
our prosecution team and our county commissioners. That Jeff is
going to be the only one speaking right now, and
I'll introduce right now County Attorney Jeff Gray.

Speaker 6 (06:44):
The murder of Charlie Kirk is an American tragedy. Charlie
Kirk was murdered while engaging in one of our most
sacred and cherished American rights, the bedrock of our democratic
republicblic the free exchange of ideas in a search for truth, understanding,

(07:07):
and a more perfect union. It is also an offense
against the state and to the peace and enjoyment of
the people of Utah and of all those who visit here.
But Charlie Kirk's murder also strikes a more personal and
intimate court. Charlie Kirk was first and foremost a husband

(07:31):
and a father to two beautiful young children. He was
a son, He was a brother and a friend. Like
all murders, the senseless and needless taking of Charlie Kirk's
life has shattered the lives of those he loved and
those who loved him. To Charlie's wife, Erica, his two

(07:55):
young children, his parents, his family, and his friends. I
express my sincere condolences and offer my heartfelt prayers on
your behalf. I also want to express my concern for
everyone who is at Charlie's Turning Point USA event at

(08:16):
the university or University, Utah Valley University, and all who
have been impacted by this tragedy. As County Attorney, I
am charged with bringing justice to those who offend our laws.
I am charged with bringing justice for those who harm

(08:38):
for those who are harmed. I am charged with bringing
justice for Charlie Kirk. I am committed to these aims.
I take this responsibility seriously. Today, after reviewing the evidence
that law enforcement has collected thus far, I am filing
a criminal information charge Tyler James Robinson, aged twenty two,

(09:03):
with the following crimes. Count one, aggravated murder, a capital
offense for intentionally or knowingly causing the death of Charlie
Kirk under circumstances that created a great risk of death
to others. Count two felony discharge of a firearm causing

(09:26):
serious bodily injury, a first degree felony. The state is
further alleging aggravating factors oncounts one and two because the
defendant is believed to have targeted Charlie Kirk based on
Charlie Kirk's political expression and did so knowing that children

(09:47):
were present and would witness the homicide. The state is
also charging defendant with count three of instruction of justice,
a second degree felony, for moving and concealing the rifle
used in the shooting. Count four obstruction of justice a

(10:11):
third a second degree felony for disposing the clothing he
wore during the shooting. Count five witness tampering, a third
degree felony for directing his roommate to delete his incriminating texts.
Count six witness tampering a third degree felony for directing

(10:34):
his roommate to stay silent if police questioned him. And
count seven Commission of a violent offense in the presence
of a child a Class A misdemeanor for committing homicide
knowing that children were present and may have seen or
heard the murder, and did so based on Charlie Kirk's

(10:56):
political expression following the press conference. I am filing a
notice of intent to seek the death penalty. I do
not take this decision lightly, and it is a decision
I have made independently as County Attorney, based solely on
the available evidence and circumstances and nature of the crime.

(11:22):
Because we are seeking the death penalty, the defendant will
continue to be held without bail in the Utah County Jail.
Turning to the ten page information, these are the allegations.
On September tenth, twenty twenty five, at approximately twelve twenty

(11:45):
three pm, Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking
to a large crowd on the campus of Utah Valley
University in Orum, Utah. Police found the suspected murder weapon,
a Bold Action in thirty six rifle, nearby. Over the
next approximately thirty three hours, police conducted a manhunt for

(12:11):
the shooter until the evening of September eleventh, twenty twenty five,
when Tyler James Robinson surrendered to police at the Washington
County Sheriff's Office. DNA consistent with Robinson was found on
the rifles trigger. After shooting mister Kirk, Robinson hid the

(12:32):
gun discarded the clothing he wore when he fired the
rifle and told his roommate to delete incriminating text messages
and not talk to police. Children were present at the
time of the shooting. The shooting, Turning Point USA, a
nonprofit organization founded in twenty twelve by Charlie Kirk, organized

(12:57):
a public outdoor event to be held at noon on
September tenth, twenty twenty five, at UVU.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
The event was.

Speaker 6 (13:06):
The first in a series of similar events to be
held at college campuses nationwide. Mister Kirk is a well
known conservative activist, famous for these type of events where
he discusses various political issues and debates with audience members.
His events and comments have garnered a significant number of

(13:29):
supporters and drawn the ire of many who disagree with
his political views.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
So we have some updates there the big takeaway, and
we'll break down more of this for you momentarily. They
are seeking the death penalty for the assassin of Charlie Kirk,
and there were other charges discussed there, which we will
get into in just a moment discussing how they're they're
taking as they should the most. All of the above

(13:59):
approach many different counts, but top count capital murder, a
death penalty offense. We will discuss this more here momentarily.
Whenever there's a conversation that includes the word abortion, it's
an awkward one. It's not easy for me to bring up,
especially going with all the things going on these days,
but we have to understand that the pro life community

(14:21):
has to take action, and there are babies being lost
every day. That's why our friends at the Preborn Network
of Clinics are so critical, so important their work day
in and day out, because at the Preborn Clinics they
offer hope, life and support for moms and their babies
in the womb, and they offer this with a level
of understanding and compassion that that pregnant mom may not

(14:42):
get anywhere else. The Preboard Clinics also provide free ultrasounds
that introduce a mother to her baby, and that moment
when mom sees the tiny heartbeat on that screen can
change everything. Over three hundred and fifty thousand babies have
already been saved through this life giving work. It's happening
every day, but they need your support. Just twenty eight
dollars a month. Twenty eight dollars a month can save

(15:03):
a life. That's the price of an ultrasound for a
mom who is coming into that clinic under duress thinking
what should she do?

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Well.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Preborn is there to say, let's introduce you to your baby,
and let's encourage you to have that baby come into
this world, to give that baby life. Dial pound two
fifty and say the keyword baby. That's pound two five zero.
Say the word baby. Or go to preborn dot com,
slash Buck, Preborn dot Com, slash Buck.

Speaker 7 (15:30):
Clay Travison, Buck Sexton, Mike drops that never sounded so good.
Find them on the free iHeartRadio app or wherever you
get your podcasts. Jeff Gray, the Utah County DA continuing
to talk and lay out all of the details of
the charges that they have now filed in Utah for

(15:54):
the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Seven different charges, the most
significant of which was count one aggravated murder, a capital offense,
meaning you can charge for the death penalty, and later
in this press conference, the attorney, the district attorney here
said he is going to be seeking the death penalty.

(16:16):
He also said the motivation was Charlie Kirk's politics. No bail,
no surprise given in this case, and there are additional
charges including witness tampering. When this individual asked his roommate,
a reported man transitioning to a woman, to delete all

(16:37):
techs and remain silent if questioned to witness tampering charges there,
So what we are still waiting for, and again he
is now describing the writing on the bullets. Is buck
actual motivation for the charges and to what extent those
will be laid out. We are monitoring this in real time,

(16:58):
and that is I think the most significant aspect potentially
of what is being said.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
He did say it is because of politics, so that
now is on the official record from the prosecutor here. Clay,
I think, now every state is different. I think Utah,
I know it's a death penalty state. Generally it is
lethal injection, but I believe if they cannot get the
lethal injection chemicals, it is a firing squad second option state.

(17:25):
And people before two thousand and four who chose, because
this is how long these things can take, chose to
have a firing squad instead of lethal injection. We're allowed
to make that determination for themselves. But they are absolutely
going for the death penalty here, and they absolutely should.
I mean, can't be a more clear instance, I think

(17:48):
of when you would need to use that ultimate sanction
of the state. We'll come into more of this year
in just a second, but we do love good ranchers
in the Sexon household. Every shipment that are on it
feels like Christmas Morning with a whole lot of meat.
Good ranchers get their proteins from American ranchers and farmers.
No antibiotics, no hormones, no seed oil. This is the

(18:08):
kind of food you want to serve your family. And
I know because I serve it to mine. Carrie and
I eat good ranchers all the time. Clay, he's got
good ranchers at home, and he's actually had good Ranchers
steak night at my house in Flora. So I'm telling
you this is delicious, top quality meat. You're gonna love it.
Get your own subscription. You can get twenty five dollars
off each month. You can also get free shipping and

(18:31):

swap the gift each month. Try something new. Go to
good ranchers dot com. Use my name Buck as your
promo code. To get a one time forty dollars discount
plus the twenty five dollars ongoing discount in future month.
That's sixty five dollars off plus free meat for life
every month. That's code buck at good ranchers dot com.
Go to good ranchers dot com code buck. We've got

(18:53):
Jeff Gray, Utah County District Attorney speaking still about important
stuff from the Charlie Kirkis Fascination Investigation place.

Speaker 6 (19:01):
The only thing I left was the raffle. Was the
rifle wrapped in a towel. Remember how he was engraving bullets.
The fin messages are mostly a big meme. If I
see notice bulge UWU on Fox New, I might have
a stroke. All right, I'm gonna have to leave it.

(19:23):
That really EFN sucks. Judging from today, I'd say Grandpa's
gun does just fine. IDK, I think that was a
two a two K dollar scope. Wink wink, Robinson Robinson again,

(19:44):
Delete this exchange again, Robinson. My dad wants photos of
the rifle, he says, Grandpa wants to know who has what.
The Fed's released a photo of the rifle and it
is very unique. He's calling me RN not answering Robinson.
Since Trump got into office, my dad has been pretty diehard.

(20:07):
Maga Robinson. I'm going to turn myself in willingly. One
of my neighbors here is a deputy for the sheriff. Again,
you are all I worry about. Love that came from
robinson roommate. I'm much more worried about you. Robinson, don't
talk to the media. Please, don't take any interviews or

(20:30):
make any comments. If any police ask you questions, ask
for a lawyer, and stay silent. The search for Robinson's residence,
police executed a search warrant on Robinson's residence. During that search,
police discovered a shell casing with etchings like the etchings

(20:50):
found on the shells in the rifle near Uvu. Police
also found several target boards with bullet holes in Robinson's home. Now,
as I stated in the beginning, when I read those allegations,
these are allegations, and like the evidence set forth in

(21:15):
this statement, those allegations, what you've heard from the media,
even from state and federal officials, has not been tested
in the crucible of a jury trial. I understand the
public's desire to know the facts. My own family members

(21:36):
have pressed me for information. Why are we reluctant to
share the details of the investigation itself and comment on
the case. Because I want to ensure a fair and
impartial trial. I became a prosecutor because of my love
for the ideals of this great country and the principle

(22:00):
embedded in our constitution the free exchange of ideas and
opinions is critical to this great American experiment, I.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Think, So let's untack some of this here. For he
went in here, Jeff Gray, who's the Utah County District Attorney.
At the very top, as we discussed, he says it
is a capital murder issue. They're they're going for the
death penalty, and then he laid out a whole bunch
of other charges, obstruction, felony, discharge of a weapon, all

(22:29):
of that is part of the case. But obviously this
really is just going to Hinge on the capital murder
charge because if he gets that, he's facing the death penalty,
So nothing else really matters for his incurs for his sentencing.
So something else I thought was interesting from the one
as he said that there was definitely a political motivation here,

(22:51):
so we can we can stop with this nonsense you're
hearing from some people on the left that, oh, we
don't even know, we don't know what his politics are.
His family said that he had moved to the left
in recent years, and Robinson was very upset that his
father was so pro Maga. So he was upset that
his dad was pro Trump because he was obviously not

(23:12):
pro Trump because he was a left wing maniac. He
also did have a trans boyfriend girlfriend, you know, a
trans man dressing as a woman who's also a furry
that he was living with. Was his girlfriend or his
what you know, however you want to phrase it. That's
confirmed here by the Utah County District Attorney. Something else

(23:32):
I thought was interesting, though, Clay, from this, I'm wondering
what what your biggest takeaways were from this press conference.
He's telling people to be silent after the fact, almost
seeming like he thinks that that's going to matter. I mean,
he's he left quite a trail and had said on
all these chats, I'm the guy who did it. If

(23:53):
you're writing I'm the guy who did it, then telling
somebody else not to say anything to police just seems
like a very strange position for well, he's an assassin.
I mean, I guess we can't get into his mind,
but that just starts struck me as odd because that's
another charge that he faces now, is the obstruction charge.
Not that that will make really any difference.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
Yeah, look, there are a couple of things that stood
out as we were playing that audio. Yes, my guess
is that he thought, because he's probably not most of
these Discord servers, I think you have a screen name,
it's not like your actual name. So I think he thought,
probably I can brag and get away with things on
a social media account, obviously not being aware of how

(24:34):
trackable sometimes that can be. But all of this evidence
marshaled as it was just laid out. A lot of
it is the text message to this boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever
you want to call it. That really basically is going
to lay out exactly why he was motivated. There was
an element of hey, I don't want to see myself

(24:56):
on Fox News or I don't want them to be
reading what I put onto the bullets. Necessarily, Again, to
your point, Dad was very pro Trump, and that upset him.
He had written a confession underneath the keyboard inside of
their apartment. It sounds like I had a chance basically

(25:17):
to take out Charlie Kirk, and I did it political
in nature. I don't know how much. I actually went
into our studio here in New York to check and
see if MSNBC was covering this. I think it's going
to be very hard now for people on the left
to say, oh, this is a super right wing They've
tried to say this right They've tried to say this

(25:37):
is a super right wing zealot. They killed him because
they weren't he wasn't right wing enough.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
I say they're arguing their hope play was that they
could put that disinformation out there in advance of it
being more official like this, to really delude as many
people as possible on their own side that somehow this
was not a man, not a person of the left.
I would also say the strange gait that was talked

(26:03):
about the way that he walked on surveillance because he
had he hid the rifle in his pants, so that
is how he got the rifle close to the close
to the venue. This is this As much as an
open and shutcase can exist, it feels like this is one.
He's facing everything from capital murder to obstruction of justice.

(26:24):
Witness tampering, felony, dis charge of a weapon. There's all
these different charges. I wonder how quickly they will proceed
with this and what the in the Usually the appeals
process can take a very long time. So let's say
he is found guilty this though, maybe a time when
they try to move more quickly. Yeah, you don't have

(26:45):
somebody who faces you know, who is for twenty years
on death row, which can happen. So we're watching all this,
but pretty much at this stage every Oh, he had
a target board with bullet holes in his home, so
he was practicing. So people that were saying, well, is
he someone who had spent some time, you know, zeroing

(27:05):
in and understanding the functions of this, rightfle The answers, yes,
So this was a very much a premeditated He was
training himself for this, He was preparing for Oh.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
The district attorney, we need to get this audio, said
The mom said that her son became more pro gay
and trans rights oriented in the past year as well.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
We need to get that audio.

Speaker 1 (27:30):
But think about the mentality here for a second, Clay.
This is really something that's stuck out to me, is
these people and it's not just this guy Robinson, who's
the assassin other people who are calling for violence against conservatives.
There's something that one is the issue that the most
upset about is the trans issue. That's one. Yes, you

(27:51):
see this over and over again. The trans issue is
more upsetting them really than anything else. The other thing, though,
is they will say I have to, like this guy
was saying, I have to do this horrible thing because
of all the hate. Yeah, you're going to shoot someone
because of hateful words you think the other person is hateful.

(28:12):
I mean, you know the thing, this is a this
is deranged. I mean, this is a crazy thing to
work toward.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
I think it's also important, though, to come back to
the foundational element here.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
This is all directly connected to two things. To me.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
One, the idea that words are violence because his deluded
mind believes that because people Charlie Kirker others say things
he doesn't like, violence is the answer to this.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
That is point one.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
Point two is to me, as we look at this attack,
the left has a massive issue with labeling people as
Hitler and Nazis. They're calling us Nazis because that is
the justification for them to kill us. I think a

(29:00):
lot of people need to hammer this home. It's not
because to a large extent, they believe that we are Nazis.
It's because these people then take that as an excuse
if you did think that someone was Hitler.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
For rash now for why we can be violent against you.
You're a Nazi, so we're allowed to catch that's right.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
Yeah, And so that's where this rhetoric has actions that
lead directly to this.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
We'll talk about this.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
We got Nate Morris who's running for Senate in Kentucky
and Charlie Kirk was with him for the launch of
the campaign. We will talk with him, find out what
his experience with Charlie Kirk was like. To close out
the Tuesday edition of the show, I'm going to be

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show again. Reports
coming out about the charges. We go up to Kentucky
to speak with Nate Morris, who's running for Senate there
and Nate, I know it's a quick turn here, we
had breaking news, but we want to make sure that
we gave you an opportunity here. You've known Charlie for
some time. He was involved in helping to launch your campaign.

(31:00):
What is the last week been like for you?

Speaker 8 (31:04):
Oh, it's been a tragedy and like the rest of America,
we've been grieving our team as a campaign, and Charlie
was involved almost in everything we did, in our messaging
and the way that we went out to Kentuckians. And
as you know, Charlie was a big believer that the
young people of this country could change it, and he

(31:25):
obviously saw that in our campaign and was part of it.
And it's just it's been terrible and tragic to watch.
But I believe this is a new beginning, and I
think Charlie's work is just starting, and I think that
his death marks the new beginning of a revolution we're
going to see in this country.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Nate, thanks for being here with us on Clay and Buck.
You are obviously somebody who, as you're going to be
running here for the Senate in Kentucky, has to think
about what the dialogue should be going forward, or how
we should handle our politics. What do you make of
the conversation and right now about whether there should be

(32:02):
accountability for off the hinges rhetoric stuff that's really outside
versus the both sides ism that we see. I mean,
where do you come down on that?

Speaker 8 (32:13):
Well, the radical left, they need to take a hard
look in the mirror. They have blood on their hands.
And we've seen this over and over again, and these
shootings that are particularly connected to the transgender movement in
our country. This is a systemic problem. And between the
dialogue and refusing to call out these shooters and the

(32:35):
patterns that we've seen over and over again because of
political correctness or pushing a political agenda. It's cost people.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Their lives in many cases.

Speaker 8 (32:43):
And in Charlie's case, he was assassinated because of what
he said and what he believed. Hard stop and the
left refuses to say exactly what's going on here in
our country. And the left has carte blanche to make Christians,
to make Conservatives, to make Republicans into these demons that

(33:03):
they make us into the mainstream media. And we've got
to stand very strong and demand accountability from the mainstream
media and from all of our institutions that have tried
to marginalize us and put us in danger over and
over again.

Speaker 4 (33:19):
Transvoy friend involved here, I just want to read a text.
I had enough of his hatred. This is the alleged
assassin of Charlie Kirk. Some hate can't be negotiated out.
But just talked about this as we went to break
but Nate can you believe that the left has convinced
itself to such a degree that words are violent that

(33:42):
the response to words that they consider violent is now death.
I mean, that is basically the logic under which this
guy operated.

Speaker 2 (33:52):
That's exactly right.

Speaker 8 (33:53):
And look at the rhetoric that we see on X.
Everything is justified to the radical left made us out
to be evil because we disagree with them, and they
give their self justification to take any means necessary within
their own hands to strike violence against us. And that's
absolutely crazy to think about that we live in a

(34:15):
world like this. I mean, you know, one of the
things that Charlie would often talk about, this isn't a
society that we're living in that's left and right, Democrat
and Republican Clay, this is good and evil. We are
fighting evil every day as conservatives and people that believe
this country should be strong, and people that are connected

(34:35):
to the America First movement. And look just last year,
our president was nearly assassinated, not once, but twice, and
the radical left continues to perpetuate this violence against people
who believe what we believe in, people who stand for
what we stand for, and we can't take it anymore.
We cannot accept it.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
No doubt at all.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
Nate, I'll give you an opportunity here we're closing up
the show. You're running for Senate. We know that's a
very competitive primary that's going on, but I'll give you
an opportunity to tell people why you're the right choice
to replace Mitch McConnell in the state of Kentucky.

Speaker 8 (35:13):
Well, thank you, well, absolutely, and I'm glad to be
with you and to get to talk about my friend
Charlie Kirk. I'm so honored and humbled when he came
to me and said I'm going to endorse you and
help you launch your campaign, and that's put us on
a tremendous trajectory to introduce ourselves to the people of Kentucky.
But I'm running in the America First Lane as an outsider.

(35:35):
I'm not a career politician. I've never run for office before,
and I'm running to break the reins of Mitch McConnell
and the stranglehold that he's had on Kentucky politics for
the last forty years. And my two opponents are McConnell acolytes,
and we cannot send the faith of the establishment Rhino
movement in Washington, DC. We cannot send one of their

(35:56):
accolades back to DC because we know career pol psisions
have run us off a cliff and Charlie knew that,
and I'm so proud that it was the first to
endorse us, and we're going to honor him by winning
this thing and continuing.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
To fight every day like Charlie would have wanted.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Nate, appreciate you being here, Nate Morris, US Senate candidate
in Kentucky. Nate, good luck to you and thanks for
coming on the show.

Speaker 4 (36:20):
Some breaking news in other arenas as we go to
close the show today, Buck, You're beloved. TikTok evidently going
to be purchased per The Wall Street Journal by a
combination of Oracle, silver Lake, and Jurison to control TikTok Us.

Speaker 2 (36:36):
Per the Wall Street Journal.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
I'm sure that will be a topic of some interest tomorrow,
but we appreciate all of you hanging out with us,
and we'll be back tomorrow with more on all of this.
