Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome in everybody to the Wednesday edition of the Clay
(00:03):
Travis and Buck Sexton Show. We are here in NYC
and have much discussed with all of you across the country.
Thanks for being here with us. We have the continued reaction, commentary,
and investigation in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination.
(00:24):
Some details from that case specifically, also some of the
reactions you're seeing, for example late night TV show that
the Democrats the left are living in a fantasy world.
Beyond that we have Barack Obama has weighed in on this. Now, yes,
we'll discuss Obama making his first public remarks on Charlie
Kirk's assassination, and we'ill see how I think, Clay, some
(00:50):
Democrats are starting to realize that they are looking too
crazy and it's a threat to their power. I don't
think that it is a problem for them ethically or
morally so much, because I just don't think the Democrat
blob thinks in moral terms. It thinks in emotional mob
mentality terms. But I do think they realize if they
(01:11):
don't tone down the crazy a little bit. Some of
them realize this, not all of them, obviously, but I
think they recognize the whole gameplay is people like Schumer
and Pelosi are out there and Obama are out there
trying to tell Democrat donors and more normy Democrats. It
gives them an excuse to continue to be Democrats because
(01:31):
they say, how crazy could it really be? Chuck Schumer's
been in this game for forty years, Nancy Pelosi's been
in this game for like one hundred years. You know,
how could this? And they're really just what Joe Biden
was as president, a facade for the radical leftism. They
are a psychological trojan horse, or maybe a psychological pivot
(01:51):
point for people because they allow them to think that
their party is not radical. They allow them to convince themselves, oh,
Democrats aren't really that crazy. So we will dive into
some of that, some of that reaction, but I wanted
to start with. Oh, and Clay had his stephen A
debate yesterday. I was there. I did tell Clay, you know,
watch watch out for the left hook, you know, make
(02:14):
make sure that you go for the body. And mister
Travis acquitted himself very well, I must say, on stage,
did quite well. It was I would say, was really
just a friendly exchange.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
More of a converse.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah, yeah. And and by the way, I all do
credit to stephen A for being both respectful and you know,
well eloquent clearly, but respectful and eloquent uh in the
in the exchange as well. So I wish there'd be
more of this. I wish people of relatively similar standing.
You know, you're a big name on the right and
(02:46):
have a following in this show, and and OutKick and
stephen A, you know, obviously has a big following at ESPN.
You guys disagree on some stuff, you agree on some stuff.
I wish this was much more common. So that's something
we can talk about later. There are so few places
now where, and in the aftermath of the Charlie assassination,
it just feels like where can we have these open
(03:08):
form debates and discussions. So we'll get into all of that.
But first up here, Clay, I'm gonna I'm gonna read
this to you a little bit. And there's been some
reaction to this in the in the news media as well,
that we will discuss. Do not worry. We we read it.
We read it in all night and then all morning,
and we're aware of what has been said by some
about this exchange. So this is from the shooter Robinson
(03:31):
to his trans furry roommate lover. I think that's the
I think that's an accurate discussion transferry roommate lover. I
was looking for the word. Yes, I was like, paramore
sounds like I'm, you know, writing a you know, like
a romance novel or something. So teen furry trans lover
and I'm sorry, uh trans furry lover. Whatever, you get
(03:52):
what I'm saying. Uh uh Here he is Robinson. I
am still okay, my love, but I'm stuck in Orum
for a little while longer yet, shouldn't be long until
I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still.
To be honest, I hope to keep this secret till
I died of old age. I am sorry to involve
(04:13):
you. You weren't the one who did it, right, The roommate says,
I am, I'm sorry. I thought they caught the person. No,
they grabbed some crazy old dude. They interrogated someone in
similar clothing. I had planned to grab my rifle for
my drop points shortly after, but most of this this
side of town got locked down. It's quiet, almost enough
to get out, but there's one vehicle lingering Clay, your
(04:36):
reaction to that. Let's just start going through this, you know,
piece by piece. What's your sense of this? This text
exchange between the shooter and his lover.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
I think a lot of times this is the case
you play moron or intent, and this guy, according to reports,
was very smart, did fantaststically well, ninety ninth percentile on
the Act, got a scholarship to college. I would think
(05:07):
that he would know that every text that he is
going to send is going to be reviewed, admissible and
used against him. So my first thought is and that
this is just me being someone who's been involved in
investigations before. If you truly had committed a murder like
(05:29):
this and wanted to keep it secret, the worst thing
you could do is text all of these things to anyone.
Probably would at least make a phone call, because you
can always argue and lie about what was said in
the phone call, and you can be like, no, it
didn't have anything to do with the Charlie Kirk situation.
It seems very strange to me that your first thought
(05:50):
would be to put in writing that you are responsible
for this, So moro on or intent is what I
immediately come to.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
So the roommate verse says, and again I'm reading from
these texts that have come out. The FBI has released these.
Why Robinson, Why did I do it? Roommate? Yeah, I
had enough of his hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated out.
If I'm able to grab my rifle unseen, I will
have left no evidence going to attempt to retrieve it again,
(06:19):
hopefully they have moved on. I haven't seen anything about
them finding it. Let's pause for second here. Clay left
no evidence? Is I mean? You know what I'm saying,
Like this guy he had prints all over the rifle
he left the right, left the rifle behind. You thought
that the that the FBI wouldn't find. I know, he's this.
I'm just saying he's supposed to be so smart, Hi,
(06:41):
he know high sat or act. Rather, he thought the
FBI wouldn't find the hunting rifle that he used to
kill this guy that he left at the scene. I mean,
that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
I agree with all of that.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
So again, to your point, something weird is going on.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
More on or intentional text, I think is the question
that you should have in your head, you know, is.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
He trying to establish a text based record of well,
this person had no idea, that's whatsoever? Me no idea
that I was going to do this. I want to
you know. And it's interesting because I think there's a
lot of inference here that at least the shooter was
driven to do this at some level by his clear
(07:24):
I'm not you know, he's having a sexual relationship with
it with a transferring person, and so it's interesting that
he would have done this but not told that person.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Also that he would have done this not told that
person and decide to tell them in text again, wouldn't
this be something that you would make a phone call about?
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Totally? Totally? So I agree with you that we're reading
this through to you, to all of you, so that
you can know something doesn't add up here. Okay, here
you go. I've had enough of it. We was talking
with this yesterday. Enough of his hatreds. You're gonna kill
somebody because you don't like his words and you think
he's the hateful one, and these people there insane? All right, roommate,
how long have you been planning this? A bit over
a week, I believe I can get close, but there
(08:05):
is a squad car parked right by it. I think
they already swept that spot, but I don't want to
chance it. So he was going to go back to
the scene, Clay and try to take this rifle. Robinson.
I wish I had circled back and grabbed as soon
as I went to my vehicle. I'm worried what my
old man would do if I didn't bring back my
grandpa's rifle. I don't know if it had a serial number.
Obviously it does, but it would trace to me. I'm
(08:27):
worried about Prince. I had to leave it in a
bush where I changed outfits. I didn't have the ability
or time to bring it with I might have to
abandon it and hope they don't find Prince. But how
will I explain losing this to my old man? I
left the rifle wrapped in a towel. Remember how I
was engraving bullets. The messages there's a lot of f
words in here. I'm not going to read those, obviously.
The messages are mostly a big meme. If I see
(08:48):
notices bulges on Fox News, I might have a stroke.
All right, I'm gonna leave it why would you do
this unless you were trying to create a narrative that
you wanted to create, right, Clay, I mean that.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
Yes, I mean I think the only reason to do
this again, he's either a moron and he believed there
was no way to track text messages and he believed
that his lover was going to delete all these text
messages and they would never be uncoverable, or he wanted
there to be a record of all of these things
(09:20):
to make it look like he was acting completely alone.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
So which is it?
Speaker 3 (09:25):
And look, sometimes people behave as morons, So I think
you can make the argument, hey, he was a moron
in the way that he acted in the wake of
an assassination. What I come back to over and over
again is if all of this was true, would you
text it? It seems very strange not to call someone.
(09:45):
And I understand some of you out there who have
kids and grandkids may the reality might be they don't
talk on the phone as much as you or I
might have, But wouldn't you FaceTime if you were gonna.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Also the way yeah, absolutely, but also the way that
it's written strikes me as a little bit weird. Just
the it feels very it feels very formal. Uh, it
feels like this is almost like a courtroom transcript.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Why did I do it?
Speaker 4 (10:15):
Well?
Speaker 2 (10:16):
I did.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
It's because I had You know, there's there's this. This
isn't really how people, certainly twenty somethings speak.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
It feels like he's making a record, And I think
the most likely So you ask me so, and I'll
get your reaction on this too. My most likely take
here is he's trying to make it look like he
acted entirely on his own and nobody else was involved,
and that is why he has been so direct in
(10:43):
providing all of this information to the UH to the FBI.
There's also the possibility that a part of him wants
credit and this was his way to ensure that he
got credit. Look, there are multiple different angles you could
take on exactly why he did it. To me, the
most likely is to try to make people think this
(11:03):
was entirely me and nobody else was involved.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Yeah, I think that that's certainly what makes sense. What
we're seeing here doesn't make much sense to me. It's
very straight. And also that that we're told this guy
is so smart, but that he lacks the technological sophistication
to understand that they would see all of this stuff,
and that he like the notion if you're worried, here's
(11:27):
my thing. If you're worried about leaving evidence behind, why
would you write a confession online?
Speaker 2 (11:33):
This is It doesn't It doesn't act.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
I don't want I don't want to leave the rifle,
but I did. It is what this guy literally, I mean,
this is what this guy's doing here. I mean, clearly right,
that's bizarre. So you have this pretense of I think,
I you know, the shooter thinks he can get away
with this heinous crime, but he's also confessing online and
to your point, not even in a phone call. So
there's either something funky going on here or this kid
(11:55):
is actually somehow a moron, even though he got good grades,
which that wouldn't be the first time. Yeah, it just
doesn't add it doesn't add up. It seems very intentional
to create a narrative here. And I would remind everybody
of what was said yesterday by Cash Patel, and I
was talking about you know what, actually, Clai, can we
come back to this many I was saying that we
(12:15):
need them to go online and see what's going on
in these dark corners of discord on the internet. FBI
is doing that. Looks like FBI is using the gee
Hottest counter terror playbook to go after these left wing
trantifa terrorist types. You know what, we can discuss what
the name will be. But I do think that they
(12:36):
recognize that this is necessary and there's some we're gonna
find out some really chilling stuff online from what's going
on here all right. Speaking of online cyber scammers, they're
out there, they're all over the place. But the rise
of AI, they're finding really creative ways of tricking you.
The bad guys, unfortunately, are smart. They'll use AI to
construct believable emails that will trick you into clicking a link.
(12:58):
I get, Clay, Do you ever get I get these emails.
I've got a bunch of pase. I get these emails
pretending to be from major companies, pretending to be from PayPal,
pretending to be from Google. Oh you know it's from
the from the help desk, just click here. I get
them all the time. It is really easy to get
tripped up by this stuff. That's why you need to
have a LifeLock membership. It's like having a security guard
(13:18):
for your online info. Get a membership for an older
family member who might become might be even more prone
to these AI scams, but honestly have it for yourself
as well. LifeLock monitors millions of data points looking for
evidence that a scammer has your info and is using
it illegally. They leave and call people on the phone.
They have these robo cult to use AI to pretend
someone that they have someone's voice, they have a different voice.
(13:39):
And if you do become a victim of identity theft,
a dedicated US based LifeLock restoration a specialist will fix
it guaranteed or your money back. Easy. To help protect

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Come back in here to play and back. We have
been discussing the investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk
and where things stand right now. And Cash Btel was
speaking earlier at the House Judiciary Committee, and yesterday I
brought up that when I had done counter terrorism work
years and years ago, they would go into these extremist
(14:34):
chat rooms where people would, yes, they would share this
was all about Islamic terrorism, which I think you all know.
They would share Kuranic verses. They would say a lot
of mean things about Americans and about Christians and about Jews,
particularly about Jews. Now that's not illegal, but sometimes they
would then start to say, you know, maybe we should
(14:56):
start to plan something or put something together, and that's
where the conversations turned to something actionable for law enforcement
or at least further scrutiny. Perhaps he put an undercover
in place. Things like that, right so that I think
needs to happen, And that whole apparatus of tracking ideologically
(15:16):
based violence terrorism same thing that needs to be a
priority of the FBI. Because this guy, the shooter of
Charlie Kirk, he did not do this in a vacuum.
He had other people that shared his beliefs. He has
a lot of people from very high up actually magnifying
many of these beliefs. Just the fact that they use
the term genocide to speak about trans people. Not that
(15:39):
anyone's killing all the trans people, but they're erasing them
because they're refusing to live in their delusion, and that
is considered by the left a genocide. I mean, right,
you think about the way that the tortured logic that
is involved in all this. But here is Cash Bettel
speaking about what they're finding online already. This is cut twelve.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
Maybe most importantly, under the counter Terrorism and Domestic Terrorism
umbrella are nilis violent extremist and those that label themselves
seven six' four who wish to go online and convince
children to maim and mutilate themselves and commit. Suicide and
we are producing record numbers of arrests under that umbrella.
Organization we even.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Stopped an individual in the.
Speaker 6 (16:22):
Seven to sixty four network who wanted to conspire to
kill an adolescent.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Girl he is now in. Custody, clay there are lunatics
out there that believe in the same left wing As cash,
said nihilistic violent extremism of the, left and this is
going to be something that we have to face up
to and we have to defeat this.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Movement this is WHY i, said AND i hate to say,
it BUT i don't think this is going to end
With Charlie. Kirk this guy believes he's a hero and
he is willing to kill on behalf of as this
guy is and many other people on behalf of the
idea That trump is hit that we're All, nazis that
(17:02):
we're in a fascist. Dictatorship and that's WHY i think
the lies that are being told about this assassin on
the left are so significant they recognize that it is
debilitating to their political arguments among normal people if they
understand why this guy acted the way that he. Did
(17:24):
AND i JUST i don't even see this as being remotely.
Complicated AND i know most of you agree with. Me
if you spend ten years calling Someone hitler and calling
someone A, nazi and there are enough people that go
down the rabbit hole here and are willing to buy
into the argument that you're, making the logical extension Is
(17:46):
i've got to kill these. PEOPLE i, mean and this
is was back in the. Day we used to have
this as kind of a ridiculous. Debate but you would,
say would you kill Baby?
Speaker 2 (17:57):
Hitler?
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Right and people, say, oh it's a, bit and you'd, say,
oh but It's, hitler and you know what he's gonna
do In World War, Two and this was in the
Pre trump. Era you would have people kind of sitting
around at dinner table or you'd have a beer at
the bar and you're debating, this and these guys buy
into the fact That trump Is. Hitler they buy into
the fact that we're All, nazis and, frankly they're sharing
(18:19):
things That Charlie kirk never said to create this Cartoonish
hitler LIKE ss member criteria For Charlie, kirk and it
led to him getting. KILLED i just the fact that
there's not an acknowledgment of. This, now saying individual people
(18:39):
are responsible for the actions of others is more, challenging,
Obviously but people, say, oh, well there's violence on both,
sides and what did they point. To they point to
The Minnesota State legislator members who were.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Killed and then you saw that that guy had.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Written a sort of man festo and it was clearly
a crazy. Person there was no logic behind it at.
All the logic behind this guy's, actions while, perverse while,
awful they actually add. Up he believes words are. Violence
he Believes Charlie kirk was filled with hate and he
(19:20):
believes he is. Justified this killer does to Kill Charlie
kirk as a.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
Result this is also bringing it into The islamic terrorism.
Context they would justify the most heinous things imaginable by
saying we are under, assault they meaning The, west and
by The west they mean they call us crusaders And
jews right for THE, us And israel Great, satan Little,
satan all of that that because of the horrible things
(19:46):
they have done to, us anything that we do to
them is justified in retribution and to prevent more of
what they're. Doing so The jihannis philosophy, was we go
into a mark place and we, kill you, know fifty
people in some. Country even if we kill Mostly, muslims
Those muslims will go to. Heaven this, is by the,
(20:08):
way this is straight out of their straight out of their.
Beliefs and you, know trust, me we had cracked the.
Code we knew what they were texting and on their
phones and everything. Else the Innocent muslims that they kill
go to, heaven or if they Weren't jihattists, themselves then
they were going to hell. Anyway and they're, evil so
it doesn't Matter so the point, is and then if
they killed some other, people, right you, know Some, americans
or then that's like bonus to. Them they had an
(20:30):
entirely coherent in the sense that it, followed and it
was an ideology that was widespread that even had nation
state support at that, time depending on which countries you're talking.
About it wasn't just someone who was hearing crazy voices
that said go kill somebody like that happens. Too that
is a different, thing, right having a coherent belief system
(20:52):
that drives you to, violence especially one that's being amplified
from the very top of The Democrat party in this.
Country if you're calling your Ape Honan's nazis without, basis
which is what they've been doing for over a, decade
you are creating the grounds for somebody to feel justified
in murdering any of Those. Nazis that is what they have.
Done and they've created a. MONSTER i, mean this is
(21:13):
Doctor frankenstein's. Monster this is straight up what they have.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
DONE i think this is scarier than somebody being. Crazy
two points, one somebody who is. Crazy there's always and
unfortunately going to be a lot of crazy, people and
they behave in ways that are completely. Illogical for, instance
someone who is in the midst of schizophrenia might attack
and kill someone because they believe that there's some sort
(21:37):
of evil spirit involved in another body or something like,
that and you see it and you, Say, okay that
is someone in the grips of extreme mental.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
What's the what's the? Frequency? Kenneth? Uh what's that? Story who's?
Speaker 6 (21:49):
That you?
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Know i'm talking about rim?
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Song?
Speaker 1 (21:52):
No, no, no there was a there was a guy
who who didn't he push somebody or, something you, know
or he was hearing? Voices was It? Dan, yes it
was it Was Dan, rather, Right, Yeah Dan rather was
A i'm, Sorry i'm trying to remember the. Stories i'm
talking to. You Dan rather was assaulted by a guy
who is, screaming what's the? Frequency? Kenneth, yeah that's that's
neither right nor. Left that's a. Lunatic, truly that is a.
(22:14):
Lunatic there are lots of there's there's No New York
times articles saying if we don't find out the frequency From,
kenneth you, know all hell is going to break. Loose, no,
yeah so crazy. People thank you Producer. Mike by the,
way everyone's looking at me LIKE i was.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Crazy, yes crazy people behave in irrational, fashions and trying
to make sense of what they do is, impossible and
attributing their decision making to any individuals is difficult to.
Do this guy responded in a coherent and rational way
to the argument Of hitler in nazis second, Part. Puck
(22:46):
and this is the scarier part to. Me he's being,
celebrated and they'll play some audio for you where they're
trying to deny that this is. Happening but tens of,
thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people have gone
on Their, facebook book, Pages twitter, pages LinkedIn, profiles wherever you,
are TikTok on social, media and they have endorsed and
(23:08):
celebrated the killing Of Charlie.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Kirk that reminds Me. Clay we talked about the text
exchange which we, read and it feels just the, language
the whole thing feels tilted and. Weird and, Also i'm
not saying this guy was obviously some kind of a criminal.
Mastermind he had no record. Before BUT i just can't
imagine someone is so dumb that they think they've left
no evidence and then they're confessing online LIKE i don't
(23:32):
know what. World and also he thinks he's not going
to be seen on. Video he's caught on video many,
times you. Know, anyway the text exchange is very strange
to us for those. REASONS abc has a reporter Named Matt,
gutman And i'm just gonna let you all hear what
this guy. Is how this guy is describing the text
(23:52):
exchange between the evil assassin and his transferrey boyfriend girlfriend. Situation,
okay play.
Speaker 7 (24:01):
It we have seen an alleged murder with such specific
text messages about the alleged murder, weapon where it was,
hidden how it was, placed what was on. It but
also it was very touching in a way THAT i
think many of us didn't, expect a very intimate tortuit
into this relationship between the suspect's roommate and the suspect,
(24:23):
himself with him repeatedly calling his, roommate who was, transitioning
calling him my love AND i want to protect, you my.
Love so was this duality of someone who the attorney,
said not only jeopardized the life Of Charlie kirk and the,
crowd but was doing it in front of, children which
is one of the aggravating circumstances of this. Case and
on the other, hand he was speaking so lovingly about his,
(24:44):
partner so very, interesting As pierre said riveting press, Conference.
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Clay do you think for one second any employee OF,
ABC nbccbsc and in any of those news outlets would
refer to a text exchange between the shooter of the
of The black, church you, know the mass shooting in
a blackshirt In South carolina if he had texted his
girlfriend sweet things in one of the exchanges where he
was do you think that they would say that there
was of course not. Right there's a as they. Shouldn't
(25:12):
there's a bizarre sympathy here on display FROM, abc not ONLY.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
ABC i think we're gonna play a clip FROM cnn
last night where they're trying to now turn this killer
into a victim and, say, oh he was motivated by
his deep love of his trans, partner and he felt
rejected by his family At trump, supporters and so the
(25:38):
only thing he could do was.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Murder someone in cold.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Blood this is not someone who deserves in any way
empathy or sympathy or. Respect and, unfortunately when you are
on the left and you are a, killer people lionize.
YOU i, mean we didn't talk about it. Much but
on the street from where we are right now In
(26:01):
New York, city there were people on the street celebrating
when charges were dropped Against Luigi mangioni. YESTERDAY i think
dropping the charges was. Moronic but, Again i'm less troubled
by one person making an awful decision THAN i am
by the celebration of that person making the awful. Decision
(26:24):
which is the world in which we now. Live and
we'll play some of these cuts BECAUSE i think it's
important for you to understand what is being said about
this individual and the defenses that are out there for
him when we come. Back in, fact we'll play some
of those cuts for.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
You when inflation lingers and when we hear the federal,
deficit it's only going to grow. Larger do you ever
think to, yourself maybe now would be a good time
to buy, gold whether it's because you know it's time
to diversify your savings and retirement, accounts or to do

order both of them right now and be book nerds
just like.

Too mine's called, Balls How trump young men in sports
Saved america.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
And mine is manufacturing, delusion how The left uses, brainwashing
indoctrination and propaganda against.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
You both are great. Reads one might even say they
would make fabulous.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
Gifts, indeed so do us a solid and pre order
yours On amazon. Today welcome in. Everybody third hour Of
clay And buck kicks off right. Now we've got some breaking.
News are rate Cuts clay stock Market clay is fired
up right. Now we've got to go to the. Charts
we gotta go to the. Numbers buy, sell buy Sell.
Clay what's going on?
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Here, well first of, all the rates have been cut
by a twenty five basis, point so a quarter point,
cut the first in nine, months the first sense right
before the election when they tried to numbers For Kamala
harris And Joe. Biden but significantly two more rate cuts
a total of fifty basis points, expected which would be
(29:09):
nearly a full point overall in interest rates coming, down
and some of you out there, say, okay why is this?
Significant stock market by the, way setting another new all
time high on this, news borrowing costs just get way.
Cheaper so, if for, instance you are out there and
you're sitting on a thirty year mortgage or a fifteen year,
(29:32):
mortgage or you have been contemplating going into the housing,
market you are going to get, nearly according to The fed's,
forecast a full point decline in interest rates between now
and the end of the. Year that makes all houses
way more. Affordable it would suggest that mortgage rates WHICH
i believe are sitting on a thirty year AND i
(29:54):
don't have this open in front of me right, now
but around six point two percent and the fifteen that's
a thirty year and the fifteen year of five point
six percent or their. Bouts i'll pull them up and
give you the absolute latest numbers here in a sec
but that they would come down in theory if they
moved in conjunction with these rate cuts that you're talking,
(30:15):
about around three quarters of a point of interest rates
coming off before the end of the, year it would
set up the possibility of, refis which is significant out
there for those of you who got seven and a
half or eight percent interest because you had to buy
at a certain.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Time it might.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Also as you start to come back down closer to
five percent for some of these fifteen and thirty year. Rates,
buck it may also persuade some. People let's say you're
sitting on a three percent interest rate three to, five
some of you out there might, Say, okay it's time
to sell a. Home we need a bigger, house we
need a smaller. House kids have gone off to, college
(30:53):
we've had new. Kids we want to move into a
new school. District the housing market has been largely. Frozen
this is going to start to unfreeze it as these
rate cuts come back in to reverse the rate spikes
that were necessary because Of Joe biden's runaway. Inflation so
this is a very good. Thing stock, market as we
are reacting and sitting, here is up. Substantially the market
(31:18):
was happy with the guidance going, forward and all stocks
are setting new all time. High so in your four
oh ONE, k all these, things the general consensus and
trajectory is in a positive.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
Direction we told everybody from the beginning The trump economy
was going to be in. Fuego, Yes and even when
there was that moment because of tariffs where there was a,
little a little, blip little bit of, panic we were,
saying AND i give full credit To clay because he's
more more vociferous about, this but he was saying buy
the dip, essentially or hold, yeah don't don't, sell don't,
(31:57):
sell don't. Panic and if you have have it very
it's very. Straightforward if you have bet on The trump,
economy there's a whole bunch of ways to do that
as an. Individual but if you have bet on The trump,
economy you have been very nicely rewarded so far for.
That and doesn't that All doesn't that all make? Sense of,
Course trump is going to come in and do things
that move things in the right. Direction, NOW i understand
(32:18):
there's still sensitivity to, prices and prices remain high for
things like not for gas, comparatively but for. Food and
obviously mortgage. Rates mortgage rates are going to start to come.
Down that will be helpful. Refise, remember more cash in
your pocket at the end of the, month because you
have the ability to refinance at a lower rate means
(32:40):
that you're more able to handle those higher grocery store,
prices and you know there's there's a a push pull effect.
HERE i, mean things that that put more cash into
your pocket are going to be helpful with everywhere else
where there's been a. Pinch SO i think that's that's
all very very. Encouraging but let's let's dive in if
we if we can here, too and it's just one other.
(33:00):
NOTE i think because there's such an expectation After trump's
first term that the economy was going to be just really,
strong That trump doesn't get if this were A democrat
president with this market move over the last. YEAR i
don't just mean today with the rate cut and what it's.
DOING i mean over the last, year the first year
(33:21):
of a, term we'd be hearing all the time about
what a genius President harris is in the. ECONOMY i, mean,
really If Kamala harris was presiding over what we're seeing right, Now,
clay don't you think we'd be just Constant Washington Post
New York time stories about how brilliant she. IS i
never see that About, trump of.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
COURSE i will just point out as soon as the
stock market TURNED cnn AND msnbc stopped featuring it every
day back In, april when the stock market was going
down and when you had the announcements about the tariffs every,
day at the bottom of the, screen they had exactly
where the stock market. Is i'm telling you right now
(33:57):
as we are watching real time all time highs and
THE s AND p five hundred had just, HIT nasdak
just hit and the Dal jones all hit record. Highs
if that were happening With Kamala, harris it would be
the major banner THAT msnbc was running all the, time
THAT cnn was running all the. Time AND i understand
(34:17):
people who, say, well the stock market does not perfectly
reflect what the overall economy is a lot of truth to,
that but usually the stock market runs about six months
ahead of where the existing market.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Is that's where it's.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
Trading so traders now are, saying, hey this economy is
going to be firing on all cylinders by the time
we get into the spring and the summer of next,
year and that is what they are that's what they're working.
Towards so all this is very good.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
News, NOW i think we'd alluded to this, Before we
might have teed this up, before BUT i did want
us to talk about it a. Bit So Jimmy kimmel
is ON. Abc he's the late night host, there AND
i find him to be the most odious of those
late night. Hows Ah, colbert it is a toss, up
But Colbert show got, canceled so at least there's some justice,
(35:09):
there you have to. Hear, Now kimmel still has, WELL
i don't know if he still has even a couple
million people to watch the show a million and. CHANGE
i don't. Know, Question i'm not sure what. Viewership it's
nowhere near what it used to, be nowhere Near, gutfeld
nowhere near Gut. Felt so Here's Jimmy kimmel, saying, well
just listen to what he. Says play twenty he hits.
Speaker 9 (35:29):
Some new lows over the weekend with The Magga gang
desperately trying to characterize this kid who Murdered Charlie kirk
as anything other than one of them and everything they
can to score political points from.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
It that's it as one of. Them that is despicable
and mentally. Stupid false thing to. Say AND i don't
know what's. Worse he's intelligent enough to recognize the, falsehood
and he pedals it to his audience, Anyway Clay or
this is somebody who people are told to laugh and
(36:01):
clap for as part of some corporate media, entity and
he is he is honestly operating with about an eighty FIVE.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Iq this is WHERE i think it's.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
Challenging there was a calculated attempt on the left to
try to make it appear that this person who Killed
Charlie kirk was of the. Right and so if you
are someone who follows leftist Media New York, Times Washington, POST, CNN, MSNBC, ABC,
(36:33):
nbccbs basically anything But Fox, news The Wall Street journal
of The New York, post obviously this program you do
not get a full picture of what the news. Is
now we've played you audio FROM cnn AND. Msnbc there
is an intentional desire to try to avoid recognizing what
(36:55):
motivated this. Attack AND i hope that in the wake
of the announced, indictment which makes that argument virtually impossible
to make any. MORE i just wonder how much of
an experience of the whole world you. Have you AND
i when you Saw Charlie kirk, first we were live
(37:18):
on the air last, week one week ago today about this,
TIME i could see in your face something really bad.
HAPPEN i didn't know because we're constantly on our, phones hitting,
refreshed making sure that we're on top of the latest.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
News for all of. YOU i knew something was.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
BAD i didn't know what it, was but you AND
i off air immediately knew this is someone Killing Charlie
kirk because they hate.
Speaker 2 (37:39):
Him of, course it's not.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
Complicated you AND i experience a wide variety of. MEDIA
i think we understand the full scope of arguments that
people in media might. MAKE i don't think very many
people on the left. DO i think they marinate In Blue.
SKY i think they're On reddit. FORUMS i don't think
they see the arguments that people like you and. Me
and this is one REASON i wanted to do the
(38:01):
Stephen a, thing BECAUSE i think all the time about
how do we get better? Arguments Charlie kirk certainly thought
about this a. Lot how do we get arguments in
front of persuadable, voters people who are willing to change This.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Steve the Stephen a discussion that happened showed that he
has some familiarity, with and even some agreement with right wing, arguments,
yes which is which is. Heartening it's encouraging because a
lot of what you see are people on the left
who have you AND. I i could do this show
as a, leftist AND i kind of want, to like
(38:33):
For April fools one, day just come, on ALTHOUGH i
think people wouldn't necessarily.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
Rush did this Producer ali talked about back in the,
day we were talking about this off. Air he pretended
to be a Big Bill clinton supporter for What ali
like twenty minutes or was it a full?
Speaker 2 (38:47):
Hour she's going to look up how long it went.
On people lost their.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Mind you guys have to find, out you know, what
refresh my. Memory pull that clip for rist if you.
Can AND i WANT i want to leave you time
sit in and do the h, Maddowis oh my, Gosh.
CLAY i could sit here with some big framed glasses
and a man bund and a perhaps futurist FEMALE t
shirt and some sandals with, socks AND i could sit
here and talk about the patriarchy and white, supremacy AND
(39:13):
i could make all of their. Arguments in, fact you
AND i could sit here in advance as long as
we knew the topic in advance of like A Anderson
cooper Or mattow or any of those names doing a,
show and we could say what their position is going
to be on, right we knew they were going to
do both sides ism as soon as they, finish so
(39:34):
we have familiarity with the other. Side one of the
problems that is so clear on the, left and by the,
way there's data that shows this as, well they have
no idea what we really. Think they have no idea
what we really, say and we Meeting clay and, me
but also more broadly the, right they just don't get.
It AND i think they deep down they don't want
to get. It they prefer to be lied. To and
(39:56):
that's what you see going on right, now and that's
Why kimmel told that Life by the way you're telling
me is That Jimmy kimmel is an incurious. Moron like
there's only two options. Here he's an incurious moron or
he's just a vile. Propagandist So i'll accept that he's
an incurious. Moron but some of these, things the assassination
and assassination Of Charlie, kirk it's so clear what the
(40:17):
motivation was the second that had, happened because He's Charlie.
Kirk this reminds me of when we're all supposed to
think that THE covid virus appearing next to The Wuhan
institute Of virology In china was a coincident where they
were playing around WITH covid. Viruses it's a big, planet,
everybody you. Know the virus didn't appear suddenly In mozambique Or.
(40:38):
Bulgaria it appeared next to the facility where they were
doing this, first, right we were to believe that was a.
Coincidence now they're going to tell us that we can't
tell what the motive is With Charlie. Kirk of course
we know that we knew the motive right. Away this
couldn't be any more. Clear this is not. Hard but
they would rather lie to themselves and lie to each
other than handle the, reality which is that the left
(40:58):
has created a toxic political ideology that has infected the
mainstream of their party top, down and they don't want
to clean. House AND i think that this is, a
LIKE i, said a clarifying moment for the country about
who stands for What and.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
As long as they don't acknowledge this inside of their,
party the sad and scary and unfortunate reality, is and
that's what we've been saying for some. Time there's gonna
be More Charlie kirks because these people think they're heroes
and they're not being shouted.
Speaker 2 (41:29):
Down, now we haven't seen this since It.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
LOOK i don't interrupt, you but look at The luigi. Situation,
yeah this guy just murdered. Guy do you know what
happened At United? Healthcare and response to, this nothing except
for corporate security needs went. Up they've got A ceo
who's still running this. Business and this also goes to the,
babyishness the cry babyishness of all these socialists and leftists.
Play they're, all it should be, free it should be.
(41:52):
Free why isn't everything? Free or why isn't someone else
paying for my? Stuff because it doesn't work that.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
Way we haven't played aid this. Yet i'm curious to
hear this. Audio Barack obama evidently weight in outside of
the social media. Arenas do you want A harst time you,
want we will play it here in a little. Bit
i'm curious to hear what he had to. Say we've
got the audio for. You no matter where you, live
there's always the chance you've become a victim of a
home robbery stats show there two home break ins every
(42:19):

Fe you know them as conservative radio, hosts now just
get to know them as guys.
Speaker 2 (43:22):
On This Sunday hang podcast With clay And.
Speaker 5 (43:25):
Buck find it in their podcast, feed on the iHeartRadio,
app or wherever you get your podcasts he's.
Speaker 1 (43:32):
Running Gavin newsom is calling On democrats to do more.
Outreach Like Charlie, Kirk we've known this all. Along Gavin
newsom is the in my, view current standard bearer of
The Republican party with the most serious claim to The
democrat leadership and therefore becoming the next nominee for The Democrat.
(43:56):
Party AND i think that's very likely to be the.
Case I'M i want to give credit to who put
this out On twitter because he got An elon, retweet
so it's now gone Very Ben scalen AND i see From,
IRELAND i know this guy as this is ON x
BUT i like to credit people WHEN i can for their.
Thoughts Ben. Scalen he is a senior Yeah irish journalist and.
(44:17):
Commentator he, writes note there's not one prominent leftist anywhere
in The, west not Just america doing What Charlie kirk,
DID i e issuing an open debate challenge to all
comers and saying here's my. VIEW i invite you to
try and prove me. Wrong none of them are willing
to subject their views to that. Scrutiny That clay is
(44:41):
a critical point and it's something THAT i think is overlooked.
Here it's not just That democrats don't you accept, That.
Charlie What Charlie kirk was doing is the foundation of
The First amendment and everything. Else they are unwilling themselves
BECAUSE i think a lot of, them the smarter, ones
(45:01):
know they will. Lose, yes they have a lose on
women can have, penises like they will lose on climate
change is an existential, threat like they will lose on
these issues that are like religious fervor issues for.
Speaker 3 (45:13):
Them that's why they don't have open public. Forums and
that's WHY i was Saying Gavin newsom got exposed By Ron.
DeSantis the point Of charlie's events was that when you
argue leftist, points they look irrational compared to points on the,
right and the flip side would be, true which is
(45:34):
WHY i was, saying there is no left wing version
Of Charlie, kirk because to your, Point, buck it would
be somebody like you or, me a younger version of,
us twenty year Old clay Or buck walking up to
a mic and saying to left Wing Charlie, kirk how
can you say that it's fair for a grown man
(45:55):
to decide to identify as a woman and win a
women's sports championship that you can argue that it is,
well there are real, women there is no biological, impact
but you end. Up remember When Neil deGrasse tyson said,
that and we came on and we played that audio
and we, said this guy is supposed to be one
of the most brilliant scientists in the entire. World and
(46:20):
he went on because of left wing orthodoxy and, said
do we really know that men would be better athletes than?
Speaker 2 (46:26):
WOMEN i don't.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
Know, yeah we know, that we do, know mister, science
we do.
Speaker 3 (46:31):
Know but he got ridiculed for that. Take it was
him choosing politics and orthodoxy over. Science AND i think
what you would see if somebody had an open form
from the left wing perspective is it would absolutely ridicule those.
Perspectives by the, way credit To Jade vance. This we
told you we were monitoring the speech that he was.
Giving he just said, this which echoes much of what
(46:54):
we've said for the last.
Speaker 2 (46:55):
Week cut thirty. Eight AND i would like to.
Speaker 4 (46:58):
Think that whether you're A, democrat we're A, republican this
basic idea of young people gathering to discuss and, debate
that is the thing That we cannot let pass away
just because the leader Of Turning POINTS usa was gunned
down by an.
Speaker 1 (47:13):
Assassin AND i want to let you know.
Speaker 4 (47:15):
That whether you're A democrat or A, republican whatever your belief,
IS i will fight for your right to speak your.
Mind we reject political, violence and we reject the crazy
left wing radicals that gun down our Friend Charlie.
Speaker 2 (47:29):
Kirk let's talk to.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
One another and not try to suit each other down for.
Disagreeing is it nice to have a vice president who
is incredibly, eloquent, intelligent and forceful on the issues and
just gets, it you, know, honestly it's something THAT i
think we almost take a little bit for granted right.
Now But JDESUS jd is a political star in his own.
Speaker 3 (47:50):
Right, yeah and a super smart guy to your, point
and off, air we were saying, this and INCREASINGLY i
think it's actually very. LIKELY a part of me feels
like maybe sometimes after the, midterms if things continue to go,
well that we're going to SEE Jd vance And Marco
rubio announce a unity. Ticket, hey we don't need to
(48:10):
spend three hundred five hundred million dollars on a. Primary
let's put all of our resources behind. This let's let
The democrats, fight and let's go ahead and know who
our guys are going to be going. Forward i'm not
one hundred percent sure it, happens BUT i think there's
increasingly a lot of momentum there when.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
You think about the names that would also consider Being
republican contenders in the in the next election, cycle which
is not far. Away, everybody this is the thing we
have to keep reminding. Ourselves it's it's you, know in two,
years we're going to be talking about about who the
who the nominee will be on.
Speaker 3 (48:42):
All that fifteen months as soon as the midterms in
next year, o'clock not even, that everybody's going to start
to announce that's, Right.
Speaker 1 (48:49):
So it's going to come pretty. Quickly AND i would
just say, everybody, though who's in that, CONVERSATION i think
knows that they would also be welcome in a A
evans From Marco rubio And i'm you, know, however they
would do that welcome in that. Administration SO i think
all of the big names know that there's there's a
place for them if that were to be the. Ticket,
(49:09):
look we're getting a little bit ahead of ourselves with.
That but back to WHAT jd said, there here is my, Frustration,
clay AND i know THAT jd agrees with, this him
saying this is a good. Thing it's the right thing to.
Say defending the right to say things without fear of
violence in this country as critical as. Essential our team
(49:30):
isn't the team that needs to hear, it you, know
this is this is the. Issue our people will say
this all day long because that's how we, think you,
know and this is always across the board. Too we
don't chase. Politics and WHEN i say, we i'm talking
to people on the right in any, numbers with any
support of people who are ideologically aligned or ideologically. Similar
(49:51):
we don't agree with lying down to block. Traffic we
don't agree with yelling at people in front of their
families or just in general while they're trying to have a,
dinner yelling at. Politicians you, know we don't agree, with you,
know throwing riots that burn down or destroy neighborhoods or
loot stores when we're on hat like you go down
this list of. Things this could not Be this could
(50:12):
not be more. Clear but Mourning, joe your, boy Mourning
joe or as as Mister Mark levin calls him Mourning,
schmoe WHICH i think is quite. APT i must, say
Mourning joe says, this this has cut twenty. Six SORRY
i didn't give you much advanced notice on this, one
but there we. Go he got it.
Speaker 10 (50:32):
There resident of The United, states The Vice, President Stephen,
miller The Attorney general have been saying things that have
been extraordinarily, divisive and as we said yesterday with The Vice,
president sadly just not. True when he says that most
of the violence comes from the, LEFT i can say
this is somebody in the.
Speaker 1 (50:52):
Center, no it.
Speaker 10 (50:53):
Doesn't The Cato, institute a libertarian think tank funded by
The Koch brothers and run by people in association with
The Koch, brothers put out studies showing the overwhelming amount
of political violence In america has in fact come from
the fore.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
Right this is. Delusional first of, all no one on
the right takes The Cato institute. Seriously i'm just gonna
say this right. Now, okay they're a bunch of open
borders loans AND i DON'T i don't care What cato
has to say about. Anything you. Know that's that's part,
one that's just. Reality part two is this just goes
against everything that we, see everything we, Know and LIKE i,
Said i've seen them play this game. Before. CLAY i
(51:31):
was ON cnn in the error when we were having
The San bernardino terror, attack The Pulsny club terror, attack
the you, know you go down the list of all
these different the guy who drove his car on The
West Side highway and mow down a bunch of all
these je hottest terror attacks happening over and over and over.
Again and then they would put me on and they, say,
well look at. This you know that here's some data
that shows that there's more right wing terrorism than left wing.
(51:53):
Terrorism and they would include things like someone saying something
mean to a minority on a subway. Car, oh it's
like right wing. VIOLENCE i mean it's just not.
Speaker 3 (52:01):
Reality can you think of ANY i, MEAN i just
for all of you out, THERE i mean you had the.
CRAZY i think it's one billion. Percent the guy In
MINNESOTA i read as. MANIFESTO i, mean he's. Schizophrenic HE'S i,
mean there's some.
Speaker 1 (52:17):
Strategic with the guy who Shot Gabby, giffords who's just
he is like the what's the Frequency kenneth? Guy he's a,
psycho a psycho that isn't latching on to a clear
ideology with institutional support from real edifices in our.
Speaker 3 (52:32):
SOCIETY i can't even think of. One now they're gonna, say,
Oh Gretchen. Whitmer first of, all nothing really happened, there
and it seems to be primarily an entrapped. Situation but
if you just run through in recent, history obviously what
happened To, charlie if you think about what happened In
minneapolis at the school, shooting the trans, shooter if you
(52:54):
think about what happened In nashville with the trans. Shooter
are there lives to violent people In?
Speaker 2 (53:01):
America? Yes are they far too often? Violent?
Speaker 3 (53:03):
Yes but what political violence motivated by someone from the. Right,
Now i'll tell you what they did probably was they
counted every charge brought On Jane january, Sixth, hey this trespassing, Charge,
hey this this misdemeanor that was pled guilty, to and
they rolled all those. Together but as you pointed, out
the only person who died on that day was actually
(53:27):
unarmed and shot and. Killed, otherwise there was no actual substantial.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Killed in an. Actor people that had a heart attack
a couple of days, later and things like That Ashley.
Speaker 3 (53:40):
Babbitt they try to say six cops. Died they don't
actually give you the. Details BUT i, mean here here's an.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
EXAMPLE i remember the First trump administration there was, this
there was this movement of. Lunatics they Chased Ted cruz
in a restaurant ON dc and they were screaming at,
him and so that restaurant's Credit actually they were totally
Had ted's back and said you were welcome back. Here those,
scumbags you, know are. Not there are other, times, though
Where Sarah Huckabee, sanders she was at a restaurant In.
VIRGINIA i remember this and they and the restaurant owner was,
(54:07):
like that's, Right i'm with these lunatics who were shouting at,
you like, sorry you know you stand In.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
Virginia there you.
Speaker 1 (54:13):
Go. Yeah so did that happen under The biden years
when the restaurants were, open because we you KNOW.
Speaker 3 (54:19):
Covid how About Maxine water saying get in everybody's, face
which helped to motivate the fact that that was.
Speaker 2 (54:25):
Occurring how About Chuck schumer saying be.
Speaker 3 (54:27):
Careful basically out in front of The Supreme, court they
tried to Kill Brett. KAVANAUGH i, know everybody just pretends
that didn't. Happen the shooting Of Steve scalice and others
after the shooter said are Those republicans or? Not while
they were preparing for the softball.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
To the point that was made by That irish. Guy
this is why they can't have these debates in. Public
If Morning joe tried to have this discussion On Morning
joe with you or with, me they would be eviscerated
on their own show ON. Tv they would get. Smoked,
okay they would get, smoked and they know. It and
so instead of, saying maybe our ideas are, bad maybe
(55:02):
our arguments are, weak they just retreat further into an
echo chamber where they create an audience that is emotionally
emotionally unstable and can only hear what they want to
hear because they cannot present them with the, truth because
then they'll go somewhere, Else, right it turns into a
competition for the lowest common. Denominator they'll listen to some
(55:23):
other lunatic out there who will try to to justify these.
Things and you'll notice, also and this is true of
The charlie situation in really star. Terms but you've seen
this with a lot of other times, too they'll say things,
like you, Know charlie was a white, supremacist and you sit,
THERE i mean and put us the obvious things Like
candice was one of his first you, know stars Within
Turning point and they had a very close. Friendship and
(55:45):
there's a lot of things you could say right away
that would dismantle. This but, okay what's the racist thing
That Charlie kirk said that we shouldn't have affirmative, action
that it demeans people who The Supreme court agrees with.
That so so if now you're beyond the, pale if
now there are going to be people who justify violence
against you because you take positions that The United States
Supreme court has, ratified where does that leave, us clay
(56:09):
as a? Society where are We so the law of the,
land of The Supreme court of The constitution is so
radical to the left that you're allowed to be a.
TARGET i actually think that is where we.
Speaker 3 (56:18):
ARE i think one of the real questions that's out
there in the wake of The Charlie kirk assassination Is
Elon musk Buying. Twitter is that connected to the rise
Of Turning? Point Where charlie's videos were able to go more.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
Viral.
Speaker 3 (56:35):
TikTok we've got a potential purchase that's taking place By
Oracle Larry. Ellison we've read for you the apology basically
that came From comcast after the way they covered The
Charlie kirk. Assassination are there enough people in power that
are now embarrassed by the arguments of the left such
that they start to get shouted down from within their own.
(57:00):
Doors that's the QUESTION i think that that. Remains we'll take.
Speaker 2 (57:03):
Some of your.
Speaker 3 (57:04):
Calls we'll take some of your talkbacks to close out
