Hour 1 of today’s Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show dives into a packed lineup of breaking news, political analysis, and cultural commentary as we head into Thanksgiving week. Clay opens the hour discussing record-breaking Thanksgiving travel trends, with over 82 million Americans expected to hit the roads and skies. He shares personal travel plans and sets the stage for a busy holiday week. The hour features major breaking news from the White House: President Donald Trump continues the annual tradition of pardoning Thanksgiving turkeys, Gobble and Waddle, in a ceremony filled with Trump’s trademark humor. Clay reacts to Trump’s remarks, including jokes about Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, and highlights the president’s ability to make even ceremonial events entertaining. From there, Clay pivots to political developments in Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District, spotlighting a controversial Democratic candidate and urging local listeners to stay informed ahead of next week’s election. He emphasizes the importance of this race and contrasts far-left rhetoric with mainstream values. The discussion then shifts to President Trump’s first year in office, praising his administration’s achievements on border security and crime reduction. Clay underscores how Trump’s decisive actions have led to the most secure southern border in decades and dramatic crime declines in cities like Memphis, where murders are down 50%, assaults down 40%, and robberies down 60%. Nashville is also seeing historic lows in violent crime, reinforcing Trump’s “law and order” success story. Clay frames these wins within the EBC strategy—Economy, Border, Crime—that defined the 2024 election, noting that while border and crime issues have been largely resolved, the economy remains the key challenge heading into 2026 midterms. He candidly addresses lingering inflation concerns, rising consumer costs, and the political implications for Trump’s second year in office. Internationally, Clay breaks news on Trump’s behind-the-scenes peace negotiations. Working with Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, Trump is reportedly brokering a potential Ukraine-Russia peace plan, following successful mediation in Gaza. Clay explains how Trump’s “deal-maker-in-chief” approach could deliver historic global agreements, even as skeptics question long-term security guarantees for Ukraine. The hour also includes Clay’s cultural commentary on gender and sports, reacting to a viral story about the “world’s strongest woman” title being revoked after it was revealed the winner was biologically male. He calls this a sign that common sense may be returning to competitive athletics. Finally, Clay closes Hour 1 with a humorous but heated debate on airline etiquette, labeling seat recliners as “travel terrorists” and sparking listener reactions through talkbacks. This lighthearted segment adds levity to an hour packed with serious news and sharp political insights.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travis and Buck
Sexton Show podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Welcome in Tuesday edition Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. Appreciate
all of you hanging out with us as we roll
closer and closer to Thanksgiving. Buck is out today traveling
to New York City, Mom Donney Land. He'll be in
with me tomorrow, as we will be hanging out with
all of you on Thanksgiving Eve.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
If you are in the midst of travel, godspeed.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Today is the busiest day in advance of Thanksgiving. Travel
expectations that around eighty two million people will be traveling,
ninety percent of them on the roads be safe, ten
percent of them in the air be safe, which would
be a record number of individuals traveling for Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I will be.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Among them, as will many of you. We leave tonight,
me and the two oldest Travis boys to head down
to Florida. I'll do the show with you guys from
there tomorrow. Rest of my family already there, and I
know many of you probably listening to us right now,
have begun your travel. So hopefully we can keep you
entertained and keep you enlightened and informed as well. Major

(01:14):
breaking news expected shortly from the White House. President Trump
is going to pardon the two turkeys. We will have
that breaking news from the White House soon. In fact,
President Trump and Milania have just walked to the White
House rosterum to begin the process of pardoning the turkeys,
a annual tradition. Donald Trump Junior has already tweeted, which

(01:39):
is very well played that let's see. I want to
make sure that I get his official his official tweet correct,
but that, let's see, I'm pulling it up that he
expects how long till a leftist federal judge reverses the
turkey's pardon.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
That is very, very funny.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
We will give you that incredibly important breaking news. All right, Produce,
I don't even know if producer Ali is joking about
this or not. Were you, in fact, Ali, you can
come on the show the earliest you've ever been on
the show. Is this a joke or were you invited
to DC for the Turkey party?

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:16):
No, I was.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
I got the official invite last week.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
This is real.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
The White House they they they've reached out to you
and said, Ali, we love all the work you do
on Clay and Buck.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
You are invited to the White House for the Turkey parton.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Well, they weren't inviting me. They were inviting the show
specifically to come to DC for the Turkey Pardon.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
How did I not hear that we have been invited
to the Turkey part in? This is a gobble and waddle.
According to Fox News, this is a big deal. So
we do we reject the White House on our invitation
to the Turkey part in?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
I actually did not respond.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
This is really funny.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
How many times have we been invited to the What
did you tell Buck that we were invited to the
Turkey party?

Speaker 5 (02:56):
I think I.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Texted you guys last week, or maybe I just texted Greg.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
I don't think we knew. I'm gonna have to get Buck.
I'm gonna text Buck and be like Ali's holding out
of us.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Have we get invited to so many things? And I
probably tell you five percent?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
How how I know? I mean, I'm gonna have to
fire you again?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
How often are we invited to the White House and
we don't hear about it? This has this happened more
than once?

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Well, if it.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Involves Trump, you always hear about it. But you get
invited to a lot of things.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Well, I appreciate all the invites, most of which I
never hear about, according to producer Ali, so I can
honestly say I didn't even reject the invites. So that
is the president gobble and waddle, we would be there.
Preducer Ali doesn't know this. I'm gonna be in DC
next week for the FIFA the World Cup. They're having
the Kennedy Center. Trump is presiding, I believe, uh with

(03:48):
Fox Sports over the World Cup soccer draw where everybody
finds out which group they're in. I believe there's forty
eight World Cup teams. Now, for those of you who
hate soccer, Apollo ess to start the show this way,
but we're going to have the World Cup as part
of America's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. There will be
the World Cup going on this summer all over North America,

(04:10):
a little bit in Mexico, a little bit in Canada,
and they are going to draw all of the different groups,
which should be really cool. So we'll see how exactly
that ends up going. And again we're rolling on the
Turkey Pardon, which we were invited to, which we have
evidently not been able to attend. All right, we got
a bunch of things that I want to run into.

(04:31):
We've got the crazy chick who's running for congress in Nashville.
There keeps being more and more crazy things that she
has said. We talked yesterday with Matt Van Epps. This
race is in one week and again I'm just going
to beat the drum here because I think a lot
of people don't know. If you are listening to us
right now in the Nashville area, in the Clarksville Fort

(04:52):
Campbell area, all the way down to the border of
North Alabama southern Tennessee, this likely is your congressional district,
and so the seventh congressional district in Tennessee they have
put forward. The Democrat Party has a woman who makes
AOC seem like a crazy right winger. This is how

(05:12):
much of a leftist, insane person she is. We'll get
into that a bit. Our buddy Ryan Gardusky's going to
join us in hour two. Senator Mike Lee is going
to join us in our three. Let me hit you
with this. I was thinking this last night as I
was getting ready for bed. I was thinking about the

(05:33):
fact that I'm very thankful for the world that we
live in right now, that I'm thankful for the ten
months that President Trump has had in office so far
and all the tremendous successes that he has had. But
I was thinking back to we spent a lot of
twenty twenty four telling you that the twenty twenty four
election was as easy as EBC, economy, border crime, and

(05:58):
if you look at in the first year, and I
would give President Trump and a if you look in
the first year the border, no one even talks about
the border anymore. Do you remember it wasn't very long ago.
In the fact, that was at the end of the twenty
twenty four election cycle. Democrats were all screaming, there's no

(06:18):
way to fix the border without congressional action. And then
President Trump got into office. He pulled his pen out,
and we have never had a more secure southern border
right now than what we have right now. Okay, so
he has solved border issues. The number of illegal immigrants
in the country, probably probably over a million of them

(06:41):
have left, maybe two or three million. It's still not
anywhere near as many as we need. But there has
been a substantial deportation through ice, but also a voluntary
decision by lots of illegals to say Hey, you know what,
maybe I'll decide to go back to my country. So
the e EBC, the border is fixed.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Crime.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
I want to take some calls from some of you
in Memphis, because nobody is talking about this story by
and large in the media, but I think it is
one of the best stories that is out there right now.
Congressman Jim Jordan shared this data this morning, Memphis crime
style stats. And again, everybody focuses on Chicago. Everybody focuses

(07:26):
on DC a lot to talk about a variety of different,
bigger cities than Memphis. But this is an extraordinary success.
And Memphis is a great test case because Memphis is
in a red state. Where I live in Tennessee, it's
a blue city. But to the credit of the Mayor
of Memphis, much like the mayor of DC, to be honest,
the mayor Memphis said, hey, I don't really love this,

(07:49):
but I'm willing to try to work with the governor
of Tennessee. I'm willing to try to work with the
President of the United States. There is a recognition that
based on some data on a per capita basis, Memphis
has the highest violent crime rate in the country, and
we have to do something to protect all the innocent
people in this community. And Jim Jordan, you're hearing very

(08:14):
little about this since the FEDS and since the state
started working together in Memphis.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Listen to this.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Murders down fifty percent in Memphis, assault down forty percent
in Memphis, robbery down sixty percent, very little attention. Think
about how transformative this has been for many Memphians out there. Again,
the city's not big enough. Those of you who live

(08:44):
in the middle part of the country kind of know
how this is. If it doesn't happen in New York
or LA, it's like it doesn't register on the national
media scale. Rush used to talk about the drive by
media all the time. Anything that happens in New York
City or LA, everybody rushes in covers with a fine
tooth comb. But lots of things happen in the middle
part of the country where I live, where many of

(09:05):
you listening to us right now live, and doesn't get
very much attention. And I saw those Memphis numbers and
where I live in Nashville. You know, murders are at
a sixty year low in the city of Nashville. I
mentioned this yesterday. Buck was talking about it. One way
to tell I always say this is a city safe
or not is how many young women feel comfortable there.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
If you're in a place where you drive through.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
And young women are out jogging around the time that
it's going to be dark, you probably live in a
really safe city or really safe part of a city.
If you live in a part of the city where
there's no young women that are ever out on the
streets anywhere near dark, where nobody's out jogging, you probably
live in a really unsafe place. Nashville because of all

(09:52):
the bachelorettes, and some of y'all probably have yourselves, or
your daughters or your granddaughters.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
It is the bachelorette capital of America.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
People come to Nashville because it's safe, because girls can say, Hey,
we're gonna go to a bunch of bars, we're gonna
go sing on the stage, karaoke, We're gonna have an
awesome time.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
They call them the WU Girls. Here.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I'll play an audio of Afton Baine, who wants to
represent Nashville, going after them. But there's an overall tremendous
trajectory right now. The border is fixed, crime is declining
at rates of rapidity that we have not seen in
a long time. A lot of you out there listening
are police officers, And it turns out when you let

(10:30):
police officers do their jobs, and when you put violent
criminals behind bars and you keep them there, it turns
out that cities get a lot safer. I know, go figure,
it's wild. What's left the economy? It's easy as EBC.
Trump is delivered in a way that I don't think
anybody even could have anticipated.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
On the border.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
On crime, the nation is moving towards the safest it's
ever been. The economy is the challenge as we look
forward for twenty twenty six. And I think that actually
underlines the relationship that you saw between Trump and Mom
Donnie in the Oval office last week. What's going on there?

(11:10):
Why did they have a brofest? It's because Trump recognizes
that the politics of twenty twenty six is not going
to come down to the border because it's fixed. It's
not going to come down to crime because to a
large extent, people are starting to feel safer, and Trump
has made it safer all over the country. It's going

(11:30):
to come down to pocketbook issues and how people feel.
Now stock market's near record highs and So those of
us who are out there that have four to h
one k's that have stocks, if you check your stockholdings
at the end of the year, you're probably going to
be pretty happy with what the results have been. But

(11:51):
I come back to the thing that just makes people angry.
It is this cost of goods because Biden was so bad.
The biggest challenge that Trump has now as we move
into year two, and I'm going to be hammering on
this a lot because I think the White House sees it.
But this is what they have to address. Everything costs

(12:13):
too much. In your head, just things cost what they shouldn't.
You know how you have in your head kind of
running calculator if you're sitting down at a meal. I
talked about this last week. I took my son to
Subway and we spent nearly thirty dollars the two of
us on a meal at Subway. In my head, that

(12:36):
meal should cost twenty dollars. Everything as skyrocket. I've talked
about when I take the Travis Boys my three kids
through the Chick fil A drive through, and it costs
over fifty dollars for us to get Chick fil A.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
It's way too much.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Prices rose so rapidly that there is a visceral anger
out there in America that crosses party lines from everybody
that has to pull out their wallet, that has to
pay for goods in this country. I feel it, you
feel it. Things cost more than they should. That's the

(13:12):
issue in twenty twenty six, and that is the biggest issue.
I think of the disaster that was Biden. Most of
us out there, and I'll put this in my camp,
and put myself in this camp, have never seen inflation
rise as quickly as it did.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
In twenty twenty one, in twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Two, and the cost of goods skyrocket as quickly as
it did. Now, some of y'all out there, you'll live
through Jimmy Carter, and so you know what that experience
is like. And I'd be curious to hear from some
of you how long did it take for those fixed
cost goods to start to get used to those prices
and for the Reagan Revolution optimism in the economy to

(13:55):
really take root. I wish Trump could run for reelection
in twenty twenty eight, because I think the answer is
by twenty twenty eight, based on the decisions President Trump
is making, I think the economy is going to be
firing on all cylinders. Can't run for reelection. It might
be good for jd Vance, might be good for Marco Rubio.
We'll open up phone lines eight hundred and two two

(14:16):
two eight eight two. But again, twenty twenty four was
about EBC diseaz as, EBC economy, border crime. Trump has
delivered on border, He's delivered on the crime, but the
economy is now going to be the flashpoint, the cultural
litmus test in the mid term in twenty twenty six,
and Trump's ability to deliver on that issue is going

(14:37):
to determine what happens in the Senate, what happens in
the House, and what happens in a ton of governor's
races all over the country. We'll talk about that quite
a lot again.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
Buck.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
We'll be back with me tomorrow on Thanksgiving Eve. But
I've got you guys rolling through the Tuesday edition of

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Welcome back in Clay Travis buck Sexton show. All right,
President Trump, as only President Trump can, has pardoned the turkeys.
But listen to what he said as part of the pardoning.
This just happened at the White House. The invite that
the event that we were invited to that we didn't
even know we were invited to listen.

Speaker 7 (16:54):
After a taro and very rigorous investigation, Bye, Pam Bondi
and all of the people at Department of Justice, the FBI,
the CIA, the White House Counsel's Office, and the Apartment
of Everything. We have a Department of everything, you know
that is I think that's called.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
The White House.

Speaker 7 (17:16):
Into a terrible situation caused by a man named Sleepy
Joe Biden. He used an ano pen last year for
the turkey's pardon. So I have the official duty to determine,
and I have determined that last year's turkey partons are
totally invalid, as are the partons of about every other

(17:38):
person that was pardoned other than Where's Hunter. No Hunters
was good? That was the one part and pamp that
was good. Right. The rest of them are all invalid.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
I don't know what the hell.

Speaker 7 (17:48):
You're going to do about that, but that's now we're
going to take a little at the joking. That is
a mess.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
But they're hereby Nol and Voyd.

Speaker 7 (17:56):
The turkey is known as peachin blossom last year, have
been located, and they were on their way to be processed,
in other words, to be killed.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
But I have stopped that.

Speaker 7 (18:07):
Journey and I am officially partning them.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
I mean, come on, uh. Trump even makes the turkey
part in fun. We'll react to that a bit more
when we come back. But in the meantime, he said,
Biden's turkey pardons were auto pin probably because Biden doesn't
have any energy. Are you dragging right now? As Thanksgiving
gets closer? Are you going to be the first family

(18:32):
member to fall asleep on the couch as soon as
the meal is over because you don't have the energy
that you used to have? Are you going to be
unable to run around and play in the family Thanksgiving

the meal. Maybe Chalk could help you have the energy

back in Clay Travis buck Sexton Show.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
By the way, Trump continued at the.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Annual Turkey parton He also said that he was thinking
about calling the turkeys Chuck and Nancy, but he didn't
want to do that because he did not want to
pardon Chuck and Nancy.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Here was Trump just a few minutes ago.

Speaker 7 (19:32):
The turkey's being pardoned today go by the names of
Gobble and Waddle.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
When I first saw.

Speaker 7 (19:37):
The pictures, I thought we should send them. Well. I
was gonna I shouldn't say this. I was gonna call
him Chuck and Nancy. But then I realized I wouldn't
be partning them. I would never pardon those two people.
I wouldn't pardon them. I wouldn't care what Malanie had
told me, Darling, I think it would be a nice
thing to do.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
I won't do it, Darling.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
He also said in more serious news, and this is
a very positive, positive story. I hate to get ahead
of it because obviously Vladimir Putin is involved on one side.
But there are reports out there that Ukraine has agreed
to a peace plan. Now obviously Russia has to agree

(20:22):
as well, but I don't think this has gotten enough discussion.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
So the way that they solved the situation in Gaza
and were able to get a ceasefire and the hostages
finally released, was they put Steve Wikoff and Jared Kushner
in charge and they just said, basically, you guys are
deal makers. Jared Kushner I think gets no credit. He's

(20:48):
one of the best assets Trump has had. He's just
a deal guy. Jared Kushner. For those of you out
there that are video game players, he just bought Electronic Arts.
They make the Madden video game. They used to make
the Feet video game. If you got kids, call of Judy,
I believe that's Activision. If you got kids, they play
FIFA video games that they play EA video games almost certainly,

(21:10):
but instead of having all these bureaucrats who sit around
all day and just have meetings and never get anything done.
Trump has got actual deal makers, guys who sit at
the table and say, how do we get to Yes?
Trump is the deal maker in chief. And so they
started with Russia, I think, with the recognition that Russia

(21:31):
is the most difficult part of this deal, and they
set down secretly in Miami.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
This is really very funny.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
I think more of this story should be told with
Coffin Kushner, who just lived down the street from buck
in Miami. They get the Russians there and they sit
down with them and they say, hey, what does a
deal need to look like in order to get done
from your perspective? And the Russians probably set there and

(22:02):
himmed and hawed, But eventually they came up with a
twenty eight point plan that would be acceptable to Russia.
And then they went to Ukraine and they said to Ukraine,
this is the plan that can end the war. And
Ukraine says what, Oh, no, this is totally unacceptable.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
And they said, okay, what do you need?

Speaker 2 (22:27):
And my understanding is that they now have a nineteen
point plan that Ukraine has agreed to so they got
Russia's plan. They actually got Russia to say, what do
you want? What does a deal that you would agree
to look like to end this war? And then they
went to Ukraine and they said, hey, here's Russia's plan.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
What does a deal to end this war look like
to you?

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Vladimir Zelenski and Zelensky they come back with a nineteen
point plan that now Ukraine has agreed to, and how
they will go back to Russia and look, I'm optimistic
they're going to get.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
This deal done.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
And if they do, and again I'm optimistic, They've been
close before. It seems like the first thing you have
to figure out in any deal is what makes one
side happy and what makes the other side happy. Trump
is the mediator in chief here. Some of you probably
have been involved in mediation. Maybe it was a divorce,

(23:28):
maybe it was a employment dispute, maybe you were involved
in a big lawsuit. Any of us that have ever
been involved in mediation, it is the prelude, oftentimes to
actual trial. I've been involved in mediations quite a lot
in my legal career. You sit, in my experience, in
a room, often by yourself, you're counsel, You're involved in disputes,

(23:53):
and a former judge, usually it's a former judge in
my experience, is going back and forth trying to figure
you're out, how do I bring these two people together.
That's basically what Trump is doing right now. That's what
he's deputized Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to be able
to do. And they got it done in Gaza.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
I think they're gonna get it done in Ukraine.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
And basically the outline is this, Russia wants a substantial
portion of the territory that they have taken right now.
It's not a surprise. Ukraine wants security guarantees. So that
is basically what they want right in order for this
war to end. And it seems like the definition of
what a security what a security protection, what a security

(24:40):
guarantee looks like I'm using quotation marks for those of
you watching on video because it's a term of art.
They're not gonna get NATO membership, but they are going
to get some form of quote unquote security guarantee, and
in exchange, Russia's gonna get land. Now, the concern of Ukraine,
which is a good one, which is a valid one,

(25:01):
which is a legitimate one is well, as soon as
we agree to this peace proposal, Trump's going to leave
office and Putin's just gonna invade again. So what Ukraine
wants is a lasting piece where they are aware of
what their land is and they have the ability to
defend it, that they have the ability to protect what

(25:25):
is theirs, and they don't have to worry that in
three years when we get another weak Democrat in office
like Joe Biden, was that Vladimir Putin is not going
to decide just again, Hey, now's the time to go
get the rest of the country. That's a valid that's
a valid concern, that's a valid goal. And so the

(25:45):
fact that we are inching closer to.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
A piece there.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
I know, we talked about economy, border crime, border crime
directly related to United States, to good old USA. Obviously
the economy too. But while doing all of that, Trump
is also simultaneously negotiating the largest number of global peace

(26:11):
agreements that we've ever seen, and I just I don't
know that he has truly elite communicators out there making
the case of how phenomenal this first year has truly been.
I'm being honest with y'all, and by the way eight

(26:31):
hundred and two two eight A two. I don't know
that we've ever seen a more effective, consequential, and transformative
first year in office of any president in my life.
I can't think of anyone that has come in. Again,
I'm forty six, so this would go back. I know

(26:53):
some of you are like, oh my god, you're a baby,
and others of you are like, you're an old dude now,
And I get it. I'm middle aged. This goes back
to basically nineteen eighty. I don't know that we have
ever seen a more successful first year from a president.
And that doesn't mean that he's perfect, but when you
consider where we were with Joe Biden and where we

(27:14):
are today, it is extraordinary what he has managed to
do in these first ten months. He has transformed on
a level that we have not seen before. An incredible job.
Here's more from Trump. By the way, this is pretty funny.
This is vintage Trump. It's talking about JB.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Pritzker.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Violence continues, unfortunately, to plague the city of Chicago. Cut
twenty six. Trump says, I don't like to talk about
people being fat cut twenty six.

Speaker 7 (27:47):
I looked at the various cases granting mercy discovering that
the terrible trauma that everyone's going through. And I had
a little bit of a Pritzker joke. I was going
to talk about priscer in size. But when I talk
about Prisco I get angry because he's not letting us
do the job. So I'm not going to tell him
my Pritsker joke. They have a very cute little joke.

(28:09):
You know, some speechwriter wrote some joke about his weight.
But I would never want to talk about his weight.
I don't talk about people being fat. I refuse to
talk about the fact that he's a fat slab.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
I don't mention that.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
I mean, come on, this is at the pardoning ceremony.
I don't know that American politics is prepared or when
Trump steps off the stage. Just how boring and plotting
and inconsequential much of our politics is compared to the

(28:47):
Trump warp speed that we have all gotten used to.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
All right, I'll take some of your calls yesterday.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
I will maintain my argument that as we prepare to travel,
many of you are terrorists in the choices that you
are making when you travel. In particular, as I stare
directly into this camera and speak quite clearly into this
golden microphone. All of you that are going to recline
your seats this week as a part of global travel,

(29:19):
you're all travel terrorists. You are destroying the knees, the space,
the ability for people to travel in peace and comfort.
You are airplane travel terrorists. Not the kind who blow
pigs up, but the kind who blow up decency in

(29:41):
the friendly skies. I'll put a bunch of you disagree
with that, even though I'm completely right. We'll play some
of your talkbacks there. You can always talk back variety
of different topics. Producer Greg will check them out and
you can make sure that you are on your way
to letting everybody out there know what you think about
every topic under the sun. But I want to tell

(30:01):
you right now that our friends at Birch Gold make
a tremendous difference. You know, gold has hit record highs
this year, and one reason it's hit record highs is
because we're constantly having to deal with the fact that
the currency is being devalued and people want hard, physical
assets for all time. I was just in the Vatican
City and when we when we were touring, they said, hey,

(30:26):
you know, back in the day. Think about this before
there was electricity, which I didn't really think about. They said,
you would be blown away by the amount of gold
in so many of the portraits inside of the Vatican.
Our tour God. He said, you know why that might be,
He said, think about when you were walking with a torch,

(30:46):
when you were walking with a candle. Gold was the
universal sign of wealth in the ancient world. But also
it would catch the flames and beautifully reflect and illuminate
on the walls. Has that never even really thought about that?
The fifteen hundreds, the sixteen hundred's actual gold embossed in

(31:09):
many of these different wall paintings, in many of the
different relics out there. Because gold was the universal sign
of wealth, it was something that translated across borders. It
was a sign and a value that was acceded to
around the world. It still is today and it's why
it's hitting record highs. And Birch gold can tell you

(31:31):
that gold could make sense in your portfolio as well.
I've got gold in my portfolio. Do you have gold
in your portfolio? If you want to learn more, just
text my name Clay to ninety eight ninety eight ninety
eight to get your eligibility and for a free infoKit
on gold. Your opportunity for free gold with purchase ends

(31:51):
November twenty eighth.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
Don't wait again. It's super easy.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
Text Clay to nine eight nine eight nine eight right
now and check and see if gold in your portfolio
could make sense with Birch Gold. That's nine eight nine
eight nine eight Clay right now. Patriots Radio hosts a

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Welcome back rolling through the program here on the Tuesday edition.
Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. I mentioned
that I was going to play some of you terrorist
airline flyers reclining your seats, and I'll hit some of
those in a moment. But I was just reading during
the commercial break. This happened down in Austin, Texas. The

(32:51):
world's Strongest Woman was actually a man. I can't this
is real. They just had the World's Strongest Woman competition
and they posted the photos and the videos. It was
a huge dude who decided to identify as a woman
and had become the world's strongest woman. They just stripped

(33:15):
him of his title. Maybe sanity is returning after all.
When they discovered that it was actually a dude, I can't.
Some of these stories, like these headlines is from the
New York Post.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
I just shared it.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Some of these stories I look at and I say this,
this can't be the world in which we are living.
Last night, as I was getting ready for bed, I
was watching the Metals Stand and it looked just like
the Comedy Central South Park episode where the macho man
Randy Savage talks about transitioning the character who is winning
the women's championships. This was a giant dude, I mean

(33:51):
a monster of a man. He looked like the Mountain
from Game of Thrones, and he had just won the
Strongest Woman in the World competition. And in Texas of
all places. I know some of y'all are going to say,
Austin Clay at a Texas. Okay, still Texas. And to
their credit, somehow they didn't know this was a dude,

(34:12):
and when they found out, they kicked them to the curb.
Oh man, we got a ton of different, really interesting calls.
I'm going to hit some of these when we come back.
Everybody stick with us, but I want to play the
terrorists out there that are trying to defend themselves. Producer Greg,
I think we have a B and C people doing
the talkback last night trying to defend themselves.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
You're all travel terrorists. Listen, hi clan.

Speaker 8 (34:34):
But I love your show, but today you really made
a faux pas. I got to call you out on this.
If you're not willing to give up your economy plus
seat for somebody that wants to sit next to a
friend or relative, why should I resist leaning back in
the chair that I paid for with that functionality. Maybe

(34:54):
you don't realize this, but not all seats on the
aircraft can recline, and the ones that are cheaper.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
I don't even know what economy plus is. Buck said
that I don't know all these different airline seats. I
fly Southwest Airlines. I am going to be on Southwest
Airlines tonight. If you are on a Southwest Airlines fly
this is why I try to sit in the front row.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
My wife gets mad.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
She does never want you have the boarding passes and
she never wants to sit in the front row because
you can't sit with a laptop or a bag. You
have to put it above you because there's no seat
back in front of you to put your backpack or
laptop or whatever it is. I sit on the front
row when I can, because no one can recline directly
in front of me there. And if I can't do that,

(35:42):
I actually try and profile who are the people that
are likely to recline their seats the most. I want
to sit in the aisle. I'm not saying I'm a giant,
but that's my goal. Your travel terrorist, cut Bee, who
we got talk back.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
I'm going to call you out on the reclining seats.
If I pay for that seat and I want to
recline it because I'm gonna I'm in a long flight
and it makes me more comfortable. Hey, sorry if it
inconvenience with you, but that is not my problem.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
It is, in fact your problem. You're a terrorist, cut
Seat Caroline.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Terrorists here, thank Clay, lighten up.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
You're not that tall.

Speaker 5 (36:19):
Just recline your seat and it'll be the same distance
as plus.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Before you're going. It's not true, and then I'm inconveniencing
someone else. Your choice to inconvenience me puts me in
the position of having to inconvenience someone else as a
civilized non airline terrorist. I try to avoid inconveniencing people,
even when you are basically sitting in my lap, even

(36:44):
when you have declined your seat to the point where
I can't even move, and I might as well be
cuddling with you because we're basically sitting in the same seat.
You're wrong, I'm right, More reactions, lots of loaded lines
when we come back.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Thanks for hanging with us. To day is Shay and
play

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Buck play Travis and Buck Sexton on the front lines
of truth.
