Hour 1 of The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show, guest-hosted by Brett Winterble from News Talk 1110 & 99.3 WBT in Charlotte, North Carolina, delivers a fast-paced and insightful discussion on the state of American politics, culture, and the economy as we head into 2026. Brett opens by contrasting the energy and optimism surrounding the conservative movement with the stagnation and radicalism dominating the Democratic Party. He argues that the left is still clinging to outdated policies reminiscent of FDR-era economics, citing Joe Biden’s failed debt forgiveness plan and regulatory overreach as examples of a government obsessed with “priming the pump” rather than fostering innovation and freedom.

Winterble highlights the dramatic turnaround under President Trump’s leadership, emphasizing four key pillars driving the administration’s success: economy, culture, faith, and strength. He points to recent positive economic indicators, including falling inflation rates that stunned analysts like CNBC’s Steve Liesman, as proof that removing government interference has unleashed growth. Brett also underscores America’s renewed global respect and stronger border security, contrasting this with the chaos seen in progressive strongholds and elite institutions, referencing recent unrest at Brown University and the Bondi Beach attack as symptoms of failed leftist ideology.

A major theme of the hour is the resurgence of faith and traditional values in American politics. Brett plays a powerful clip from Vice President J.D. Vance’s Turning Point USA speech, where Vance calls for a “true Christian politics” that prioritizes family, dignity of work, and care for the poor while condemning corporate outsourcing and immigration fraud. Winterble frames this as a moral and spiritual battle for the soul of the nation, arguing that Trump’s policies have ended the cultural war on Christianity and restored principles that resonate deeply during the Christmas and Hanukkah season.

The hour also features lively listener calls tackling critical issues such as midterm election strategy, GOP unity, and kitchen-table concerns like skyrocketing food prices. Callers stress the importance of candidate recruitment, voter turnout, and fighting back against entrenched political corruption. Brett responds by explaining Senate procedural realities, including Mike Lee’s remarks on cloture and the myth of the 60-vote threshold, while urging conservatives to stay engaged and proactive.

In closing, Brett reflects on America’s enduring promise and the need for moral clarity, historical perspective, and cultural courage to preserve freedom. He reminds listeners that the conservative movement’s strength lies in its ability to persuade and unite, not retreat into hopelessness. This first hour sets the tone for a day of spirited conversation, blending political analysis, historical context, and calls to action for a movement energized by faith, freedom, and the fight against radicalism.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
He's heard on News Talkie and ninety nine point three
WBT and Charlotte, North Carolina. Please welcome Brett Winterble filling
in for Clay and Buck.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And it is a pleasure to be with each and
every one of you. Very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah. It
is great to be behind this microphone and spending this
much time with so many great people across. As Rushwood
famously say, the fruit and playing are, you know, one
of the things that I'm looking at. And it is

(00:35):
a pleasure to be with you because the politics of
the day, the politics of the moment, are really pointing
in one particular direction. I don't know how many of
you had an opportunity to sit back and to enjoy
the TPUSA coverage in between the professional football and the

(00:58):
college football from over the last number of days. But
if you look at the momentum, if you look at
the energy, if you look at the likelihood of the
direction in the world of politics, we are seeing something
very interesting. I'm old enough to remember, as cliche as

(01:22):
that sounds, but I am old enough to remember when
the Republicans, or the Conservatives, or the people who were
more affiliated with that sort of a mindset would sit
back and say, well, you know, next man up, next
man up's got to be this guy.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Next man up has got to be that guy.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
We just gosh, we just we seem to have difficulties
in recruiting great candidates. The table has completely flipped in
this regard. If you look at what the Democratic Party,
what the Democratic affiliations are doing, what they're looking at,

(02:04):
what they're pushing, what they're talking about, it is literally
the same thing that they have talked about since Bill
Clinton was president, since Jimmy Carter was president, since.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
All of those times.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
The thing that I think is so interesting is that
the energy is with the youth, and the youth is
with freedom, not the pinko kami.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Leftist sort of stuff that's going on here.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Like if you go back, if you go back to
the bad old days of the Biden administration, and you
saw all the stuff that Joe Biden sort of threw
out there on policy, right, we had transgender policy, we
had sexuality policy, we had all of these things that
were happening as part of the zeitgeist. But you know

(02:57):
what else we saw over there. You saw the same
old thing that had been utilized since nineteen thirty three.
And that's not a reference to Hitler or anything like that.
It's a reference to FDR and spending, spending, spending, And
what did you see. What was the signature thing that

(03:20):
the former president Joe Biden did, debt forgiveness? Remember those days,
you folks that work for a living, You folks that
didn't go to Georgetown, didn't go to Brown, didn't go
to any of the elite institutions of the United States.
You saw all of these people, the higher earning people

(03:45):
who were getting bailed out for their underwater you know,
underwater basket weaving and for all the stuff that goes.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Along with that.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
And it did nothing for the American zeitgeist. It did
nothing for the American outlook. It did nothing. It was
just another hookup. It was let me give you more
free stuff. Let me give you more free stuff like Solindra,
Let me give you solar panels. Let me get rid
of gas, let me get rid of natural gas, let

(04:17):
me get rid of nuclear.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
The the energy right now in the.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Economic agenda of the of the Trump administration is full
steam ahead, period because they understand in that administration, I've
been to that administration three times in the last year.
They understand that it's now or never. It's now or never.

(04:46):
And what you have on the other side with the left,
it is a grouping of people who sit back and say,
when am I gonna get my dot dot dot? When
am I going to get the hook up? What am
I going to get the payoff? Where am I going
to get in all of these things? And it's absolutely

(05:07):
incredible to see that they're still buying into the nineteen
thirty three agenda. Oh, it's we're in a We're in
a terrible plight. We have got to prime the pump
a little more. To just see the incredible inflation numbers

(05:27):
coming down last week, it was so scary to Steve
Lessman over on CNBC that he sat there saying, wait
a minute, hold on these numbers.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Can't possibly be right. It says that the inflation is
going down.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Yes, the grand lesson of Ronald Reagan was do no harm.
You know the old the old quip where they would say,
I'm from the government, I'm.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Here to help you.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
When you look at this and I listened to clam
Book every day. When I hear them breaking these stories down,
I mean, is it is a remarkable thing to be
alive and to be part of talk radio in this
day and age. By the way, if you'd like to opine,
we're certainly happy to have you here. Eight hundred two
A two to eight A two eight hundred two A

(06:18):
two to eight eight two. So the economic picture, the
challenges that we are we are seeing that are slowly
going away with an open border policy that is now
done with a go get rid of the bad guys,
which is working very very well.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
You look at our positions around the world.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
The United States of America is respected more now than
even I would argue during the original Trump administration itself
when you look at what is happening, when you look
at the different approaches, when you look at all of
this stuff, it is firing on all cylanders. And what
are the cylinders economy, culture, faith, and strength. You look

(07:12):
at those four pillars of this administration. You look at this,
the four pillars that are out there right now, you
can conclude one thing that is not to be denied.
There is not one particular person who is standing out
on the left trying to sell you a plan that's

(07:37):
going to work for you. And my gosh, I just
saw in the last twenty five minutes that they're not
even talking about impeaching Trump at this stage of the game.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
That's a big deal. Now.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
They do have something going for them, if you want
to give them a little sliver of credit. They're good
with the radicalism, they're they're good with with with the
crazy talk. They're great with recruiting socialists and communists. Mom
Dami comes to mind. But you've got a whole bunch

(08:13):
of foot soldiers that are now out in different blue
cities and blue states that are looking to get them,
get them to to the to the winning side. And
the winning side is not those progressives, communists, socialists, the
allegiances that that are happening there. Because what happened last week,

(08:35):
when you look at what happened at Bondai Beach, and
when you look at what happened at Brown University, you
see chaos at the highest levels of government and chaos
at the highest levels of academia. People are happier now
today than they were a year ago. People are happier

(08:58):
here today than they were two years ago, three years ago,
four years ago. And all it took was taking the
boot off of the economy and letting it go. I've
never understood why the default position of the progressive left,

(09:23):
of the commie left, of those sorts of folks is
that we must restrain innovation, we must restrain people choosing
what they want to do with their lives. They're not
smart enough to understand that. I would challenge the farmers
in this country, the pipe fitters in this country, the

(09:46):
labor groups in this country, I would challenge each and
every one of them to say, you know what, We've
had enough of regulation, We've had enough of government, We've
had enough of that. And it's an old cliche, saw
I know that for a fact. But what we're seeing
happening right now in the American in the American experiment,

(10:09):
is one half of the country has decided that the
thing that was sent away with Donald Trump's presidency right
when he was coming into office, what you see on
the left is hopelessness. Gavin Newsom's not even pulling twenty

(10:29):
percent AOC's actually somebody who is being looked at as
a potential person to make a run for the office.
They have no bench, and what bench they have is
very radical and very scary to normal Americans. One of

(10:51):
the things that I always love to do first thing
in the morning is to go and put on C
Span right and just listen to what people are saying
in the country. What they're saying in the country is
we are being heard for the first time. Now you
might not agree with the things that they're saying, but
they're being heard. There is a way to stitch all

(11:12):
this together and create something very different.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
And the youth vote is.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Going to be incredibly important as these college kids come home,
some cases having to deal with what just happened at Brown,
but in other cases, they're coming home and they're starting
to think for themselves. They're starting to say, listen, we
have got to take an approach that is going to
be better for us. Who is going to save us? Well,

(11:38):
the answer to that question is you are going to
save you, and we are going to save you, and
we are going to save ourselves. And I know what
you're thinking, Well, that sounds like a Kamala Harris word salad. No,
it's not, It is not that at all. What we're
seeing happening right now in this time is energy. The

(12:00):
energy you put in your car, but the energy.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Among the youth.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Going back to Turning Point USA and the gathering yesterday,
but also obviously for the rest of the for the
rest of the days.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
That ran up into that.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
JD.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Vance came out last night and he said something that
I thought was absolutely glowing and it was awesome, and
it was his position on faith, the importance of the
importance of having faith in this country. Cut number one.
Jadvans on religious freedom at TPUSA.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
Even our famously American idea of religious liberty is.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
A Christian concept.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
Because we're all creatures of God. We must respect each
individual's pathway.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
To that God.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
But over the last fifty years, there has been a
singular focus a war that has been waged on Christians
and Christianity and the United States of America. And let
me say, of all the wars that Donald Trump has ended,
that is the one we're proud of.

Speaker 6 (13:07):
Stuff.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Now, think about that for a second.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Okay, once upon a time there was one of these
things where people would hear that and they'd say, yeah,
that's very Yes, that's very but we need the economy,
but we need this, But we need that. Right now,
you've got it firing on all cylinders. That is what
is happening right now. When you look at the approach

(13:35):
that's being taken right now. You cannot survive if you
sever it from faith, because how are you going to feel?
How are you going to discern? How are you going
to believe? If they say, yeah, economy's great, don't talk

(13:56):
about faith.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
It's written on your heart, It's written on your spirit.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
That's very clear to anybody who pays any attention, regardless
of any of the faith tracts where people are spending time.
And so in this season Christmas, as we are about

(14:21):
to conclude Hanukkah, when you think about all that is
happening here, it is happening because it has gelled together.
It has not been blown apart. I know there were
some controversial things that were said at TPUSA, and I'm
well aware of that, but you should think about what

(14:44):
we could be in right now had Trump not get elected,
had Trump not do the one Big Beautiful Bill, had
Trump not get involved in these different sort of skirmishes
around the world to try to bring about peace. This
is a very interesting time time. And I don't mean
that in like a curse that comes about from from

(15:04):
the folks over on the Socialist Convention Center. Okay, I'm
talking about these sorts of things that are hugely important
when you take.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
It in the aggregate.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
But t all right, what we're gonna do is we're
gonna get a break in here real quick. And then
I've got something else that you definitely want to hear.

of the opportunity that all of us have in this

little bit here and I see folks are queue it
up on the on the line to have their say.

(16:34):
We will certainly bring you back in in just a
couple of minutes here stick around. Want to hear from
all of you, of course. My name is Brett Wittable.

hands down, no doubt about it. So we're going to

My name is Brett Witerble. We'll get that break.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
In and we'll be back right after this. Welcome back on,
Brett Witterable. Good to be with you for Clay and Buck.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
What a beautiful song makes you feel the season. Let's
go out and talk to Bill in Massachusetts. Bill welcome
to the program. What's on your mind for claim?

Speaker 9 (17:32):
Buck Brett? Nice job as a backup quarterback. The Ravens
could have used you last night.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (17:41):
Hey, it's nice to see all the speeches on the
turning point event. But I really think the Republicans have
to start focusing heavily on the midterms. If they don't
get that, then the President will lamb deck and it's
going to be hard to push anything from then on.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
That's my point.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Okay, So let me ask you a very quick question.
What is your number one priority? If I'm letting you
have a conversation with the president, what is your number
one priority on the midterms?

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (18:10):
Pushing good candidates get out there and start getting people
to vote. That's that number one party registration, get people
out there voting.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Have you ever thought about running I'm not being a
wise guy, but have you ever thought about getting involved
like that?

Speaker 9 (18:25):
I would love to in Massachusetts, but all nine districts
up here.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Yeah, yeah, I got you, I got you. Okay, very
fair point. I hope you have a merry Christmas.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
Bill.

Speaker 2 (18:35):
Thank you for calling in on the show, and I
appreciate the back and forth. Yeah, great stuff from Bill,
Let's go to Jerry in Florida. Jerry, welcome to the Klaimbuckshow.

Speaker 10 (18:46):
Yes, good morning. It appears to me that Trump is
doing the best job he passes we can under the circumstance,
if the circumstances being that at least ninety percent of
the Republicans are on the Democrat side and are against
Trump and want to stop his policies every way they can.
And that's because they just as corrupt and on the
same gravy train as the Democrats. We're starting with fun

(19:09):
when he makes sure that Trump can get his people
appointed while they're on break, so he calls them to
session every day. The Blue slip is still going on.
They're doing the Republicans are doing everything possible to help
the Democrats. What are you gonna do? You're gonna vote
them all out? I wish we could, but it doesn't
appear that that's the case or that's going to happen.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Okay, all right, that's a fair point. I appreciate you
calling it on the program, and so I'm going to
take what he just said and I'm going to apply
something to it here. Okay, Mike, can I get cut
number nine? This is something that everybody should listen to,
because the Democrats have been very effective in doing a
little bit of a little bit of sketchy play here.

(19:55):
And this is cut number nine Mike Lee on kloature
and the magical sixty votes go.

Speaker 11 (20:01):
Friendly reminder, it doesn't take sixty votes to pass legislation
in the Senate. It takes a simple majority. It takes
sixty votes to force debate to come to a close.
But there are other ways of getting to a final vote,
a final vote casted a simple majority in the Senate
that don't involve cloture. All you have to do is

(20:22):
keep debating until nobody shows up the debate, or until
everybody has exhausted their right to speak. They can only
speak twice on the same discrete legislative proposal on the
Senate floor during the same legislative day. The same legislative
day can be kept open for days, weeks, even months,
if that'ssary it has in the past. There are other

(20:43):
ways of getting there. Well, we can't continue to see
the sixty vote cloture standard as synonymous with what's required
to pass a bill in the Senate. That's not how
it works. It's not how it was designed. We can
do better.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Okay, Now that's an important point.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Everybody thinks it's sixty votes, right, you gotta get sixty,
You gotta get sixty, you gotta get sixty. Well, first
of all, Number one, if the president wanted to, he
could try to blow up the filibuster.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
I mean, you could get rid of it.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
If it feels like it's a desirous approach that you're
gonna be able to actually get enough stuff pushed through.
You know, you could probably try to do that. But
nobody is talking about what Mike Lee says on this
particular issue, which is, hey, you can only speak twice
on that particular issue on a particular day. So what
you do is you leave the debate open and exhaust

(21:35):
these people, make them come in and actually do the
stuff that's blocking the current policy. But let's go back
to what we heard from Jerry there a second ago.
They're all Democrats, all the Democrats, and the Republicans are
like that is absolutely not true. There are a number
of people who are real pains, and the fact of

(21:59):
the matter is those folks don't want to play ball
the way we would traditionally do.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
It go back to World War two for a second.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
All right, you think about Winston Churchill, you think about FDR,
you think about the French, you think about these allies
that we had.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
To work with. That's the problem.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
You have people that are too chicken to take the
stand and to do what they want. Because the gravy
train is very, very attractive to all of these people,
and so when you look at what they're offering up,
you have to actually just bring in more people who
are going to come in and support you on that side. Now,
how do you do it?

Speaker 4 (22:38):
Boy?

Speaker 3 (22:39):
I wish I had an answer.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
I don't know how you do it, because you got
to get in there and twist arms. You got to
get the president to call them to the White House,
sit them down there and tell them how they've got
to do the things that are beneficial to the American people. Because,
as you heard from the first caller, they said, he said, listen,
you got to get on the good foot to try

(23:02):
to win this mid term. And if it's if he's
not gonna win the midterms, then what's planned. B Let's
go out to talk Kevin and Idaho. Kevin, Welcome to
the clam Buck Show. It's a pleasure to be with you.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
Well, thank you for taking my call, and thanks for
keeping the ball rolling for us guys that are sitting
in the pickup more than we're working.

Speaker 12 (23:28):
I got you.

Speaker 4 (23:28):
But any anyway, the first of the program, you said,
you know, we've kind of been fighting this this left
eye didology since nineteen thirty three, Fdr. Not it even
goes further back than that. I think that once you
study the Lincoln and assassination and the reconstruction after the

(23:49):
Civil War, yep, if that would have went a little
bit different, we probably could have retarded the evil that
were you know, involved with now. But you know, there's
always going to be evil. So I don't want to
say it was botched, but the reconstruction was botched after

(24:09):
the Civil War, and so we've really been fighting it
even since then. And if you want to get nerdy
about it, you can go back to what George Washington
and Thomas Jefferson thought of Alexander Hamilton. They didn't like
him because there was that seed there of you know
that that no better way to put it, yeah, no,

(24:32):
no ideology, but.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Yeah, yeah, well he was he was very much he
was very much somebody who wanted bigger government. Bigger and
you know, bigger institutions that were going to happen.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
I really appreciate the call. Thank you very much for
the call.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
By the way, you know, it's interesting on this occasion
that he was just talking about, you know, this day
in eighteen sixty four, General Sherman gave President Lincoln the
city of Savannah for Christmas. I don't ever want to
go back to the Civil War scenario or any of
that sort of stuff. We have the ability to persuade

(25:08):
more people than we have ever had in our human lifetime,
and that's the important thing that we have to remember
all the time. We can persuade people. Ronald Reagan was
once upon a time a Democrat, and he chose not
to be a Democrat.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
That's one of the things that.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
We've got to pay very close attention to, because when
you sit back here and you say, all right, everything
is going.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
To pot it's really not.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
It's just a matter of putting in the work to
bring these people along. And that's really the secret from
all of this. Here a Spencer in Houston line too.
This is a really important point that he's going to make.

Speaker 12 (25:49):
Go ahead, Spencer, Well, Brett, first, I remember you fondly
from the Rush days. Thanks, anybody is in heaven with
a spirit helping us save our country, it's Rush looking
down on us.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Amen.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (26:03):
Anyway, I'm seventy years old and I have ancestors who
were born in the eighteen eighties and I remember them.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Wow.

Speaker 12 (26:11):
I looked at their diaries and I'm going to tell
you another story. And in their diaries and in the conversations,
the idea that government would help these people run their
lives was like a Martian coming down to speak to them.
Their moral countess was different than ours. And John who

(26:33):
said that our government was designed for a moral people.
And this is what Donald Trump and Janie Hans are fighting,
that it is a moral spiritual war, that only that
kind of people will embrace freedom, others will be Mamdani.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Look, that's that is true. I will I will grant
that to you absolutely, what you just said. But if
you go and see what we heard from JD. Vance
and I want to I want to leave you on
the line and I want to play this, Okay, Mike,
this is could be cut eleven. This this is important stuff.
Listen to what JD Vance said yesterday though.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
And this is the moral truth we strive to center
in our work in the Trump administration and in this
great movement of ours.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
A true Christian politics.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
It cannot just be about the protection of the unborn
or the promotion of the family, as important as those
things absolutely are, it must be at the heart of
our full understanding of government. Why don't we penalize corporations
that ship American jobs overseas because we believe in the
inherent dignity of human.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Work and every.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
Person who works a good job in this country. Why
why have we worked without the help of Congress to
restrict a one be visus for example, because we believe
it is wrong for companies to bypass American labor just
to go for cheaper options in the Third world. We

(28:17):
help older Americans in retirement, including by ending taxes on
Social Security, because we believe in honoring your father and
mother rather than shipping all of their money off to Ukraine.
We believe in taking care of the poor, which is

(28:38):
why we have Medicaid so that the least among us
can afford their prescriptions or to take their kids to
see a doctor.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
And it's why we are outraged at the.

Speaker 5 (28:48):
Injustice of Tim Waltz allowing Somalian immigrants to defraud that
program to the tune of billions of dollars and ought
to go to Americans because that's to.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Who it's Therefore, now I can tell you that's the
fight right there, right am I?

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Am I wrong? Or am I right? Spencer?

Speaker 12 (29:10):
You're right, You're absolutely right. And can I tell you
one thing really quick, go ahead. One of my ancestors
was born in eighteen eighty nine, s be ninety seven.
His grandfather was born in seventeen ninety seven. I have
breathed the same are with a man who breathed the
same are with a man who was born when George
Washington was alive.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
That's amazing, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
That is amazing, and that's the unbroken heritage of people
who believe in this country. Spencer, God bless you. Thank
you so much for being on the show today. Check
it in from Houston.

Speaker 3 (29:46):
I mean, it's such an important point.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
We have an unbroken promise that we we as the
American people, have the ability to do anything that we
want as long as we want to do it and
as long as let's be honest, as long as it's moral.
We should not be supporting immoral things, right, and and

(30:10):
so when you when you look at what's happening, and
I'm going to get into this in the next hour,
I want to. I want to break this down for
you guys. You look at what the president is doing
in South America. You look at what the president is
doing to try to stop the communist run that has
that has been you know, basically taken everything apart in

(30:31):
that time and in that place. What we're seeing is
something incredible. All right, I want to get a break
in here. My name is Brett Whitterbowl. I'm in for
Clay and Buck. It is a pleasure to be with you.
Eight hundred and two A two two eight A two
back after this.

Speaker 7 (30:44):

unite us.

iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcasts.

Speaker 2 (30:58):

place I'd rather be. Eight hundred and two two eight
eight two. And we have got incredible folks who are
spending time with us here today, and we are inviting
you to be a part of it as well. Let's
jump out and see with Bill in Colorado Online one Bill.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Welcome to the program.

Speaker 6 (31:20):
Hey Brent, how are you.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 6 (31:22):
Thanks for being I just wanted to say, you know,
the left is really reporting on the feuding within the GOP,
and I would like to say that, you know, the
feuding is healthy and it's actually allowed within the GOP.
Aren't we the party of free speech?

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (31:40):
And I know any kind of feuding within the Democratic
Party is shut down immediately. I think what we see
is actually what the party's supposed to be doing, arguing
issues and arguing points. I may not agree with them,
but sure they're doing the right thing by having a
free speech.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
It's very true.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
What what if I were to say to you, what
is your number one issue? If you if you had
the ability to, you know, put a put a wand
over it, what what would it be? What is your
number one concern right now?

Speaker 6 (32:13):
My concern is the cost of food. Period. I go
to the grocery store and it just it breaks my
bank and I would love to see food. And then
after that, immigration, of course, that seems to be the
heartbeat of America. But I'm tire of paying eight bucks
a pound for ground beef.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Yeah, and they did.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
They have come out and said, like, why that's the
case because we ended up with a bunch of infestigation
that took place and unfortunately, uh that that's that's where
things are going. But look, that is that's a very
important that's that's a kitchen table literal kitchen table issue
as opposed to the missing chair and all the thing
that Joe Biden used to talk about all the time

(32:53):
that was nonsensical and throwing people out of the military.
So thank you for the call, Bill, I appreciate that.
H rate take and I hope you have a very
merry Christmas. Let's go to Jean in beautiful Pennsylvania. Jeane,
Welcome to the program.

Speaker 13 (33:08):
Hello, Hello, sob I'm a lifelong Republican and one of
the things you upsesked me about my party, yeah, is
we never seem to fight back.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
Oh oh, I think you're seeing fighting back. I think
we're seeing it. We got plenty more straight ahead. Don't
don't go anywhere. I'm Brett wittererbule in for Clay and
buck back after me. H, I still have to I
got thirty seconds, all right, So let me tell you
what we're gonna talk about when we come back. When

(33:44):
we come back, I'm gonna give you a little history
lesson and a mystery lesson. Seriously, this is what I
love about this. It's a pleasure to be spending this
time with you. Don't go anywhere. You're listening to the
clay and buckshe h.
