Speaker 4 (01:00):
I worked out here one time.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
The gym's like a place where you can kind of
go escape and like get away from the noise, just
lock in for an hour or so. Uh, but you know,
when you gotta go, you gotta go. And I need
to sneak in some chess yesterday a little back, so
we got something done. Got it in this morning too,
so we're we're trending upwards. But yeah, I will be

(01:25):

want to have my headphones in. I was like on
Twitter and Instagram like still working stuff. But yeah, I
feel like when you did it here on Tuesday.

Speaker 6 (01:48):
Morning, I do.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I work here, work out here every Tuesday morning and
then by myself, and I'm able to like bring that
like speaker soundbar and I can have it like blaring

and I haven't been very good on Fridays.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
I work out in my apartment. But Brooks let up
on my story was like just how it wanted to
start my day.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
So I was like, come on, because he was he
had the wed you go I screenshot. I meant to
send it into the group chat. He likes, can't get
me in trouble.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I had like three or four people like DM me.
It's like you need to switch up the angle, Like
that's the point?

Speaker 4 (02:51):
What like right here, this isn't an accident, squad, Like.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
The reason I have this is because of doing this, right,
shouts shout out JP.

from striped up officials. Shout out you one of the
few people that have just given us some uh talking
points in like the comments and whatnot. So we're going
to go through all five of years today. We didn't
do enough preparation for today, so this is kind of
this is gonna lead cut up.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
We're gonna go through all five years today because we're
super prepared.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Like you, you're owed this.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
These are good questions that we want to answer.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Yeah, this is excited as.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
A great five first one and I feel like this
this could be a really good conversation childhood celebrity crushes
mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
And I also want people to know before we get
into that there's a wasp flying around up here fat
So if you see us looking around, maybe we're thinking.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Late October wasp.

Speaker 7 (03:52):
Maybe we're plotting how to kill this thing in the
show in the midst of danger.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
Yeah, true, the back of the bus wasp.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
For whatever reason, the first person that comes to mind,
I think it's recency buyas for me watching the show
right now, but when I remember watching Friday Night Lights
growing up, or like when I was in a like
early high school, middle school, not only Lilah Garrity, but
also something about jewels.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
Coach Taylor's daughter say jewels from before you.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
But let's let's keep it moving appreciate the millennial laugh
for jens X.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
But she like she's just she's not like, holy shit,
she's like hot, but like she's pretty, like.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
If I remember Jewels that much. It's in the same
sentence of Lylah garritty.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
I mean, yeah, it is for sure.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Because what's the blonde chicks?

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (04:42):
I think it's Tyra Tyra Tyra too, Yeah, Tyra Banks.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Close close second, I mean.

Speaker 6 (04:51):
Go ahead, missus Taylor to Connie Britton the whole cast. Yeah,
damn near damn. No. I'm just I mean, let's just
I am enjoying the show. Yeah, I'm enjoying rewatching it.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
That's fair. So your your your childhood crushes.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
No, I'm not saying. I'm just I thought it's just
kind of kind of be a conversation of like when we.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Blonde Girl interesting.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
No saying how when we like all the main characters
we hate just kind of like throwing people out there.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
I'm gonna get this eyelash off of you.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
I'd like to hear your come here good.

Speaker 7 (05:24):
I would like to go before I get stolen hold
on because I feel like this conversation has been had
like casually around the office.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
But mine is Jessica album like from the like O G.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
Fantastic four movies are like.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
What about one of my three?

Speaker 7 (05:41):
So I know that's why I want to go for
like those movies, like were my favorite movies, my favorite
superhero movies?

Speaker 6 (05:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Yeah, what was the other?

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Was it?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Blue? Uh?

Speaker 5 (05:56):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Deep blue?

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Deep blue? Yeah? But Complex did put up a post
of jesse Alba I was looking at earlier, Coop, I'll
send it to you.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
She looks great. And now to.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
Wait for what was you say, Chuck and Larry?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
No, okay, before you go there, good luck, Chuck, Yeah,
I have I'm just gonna do a tear talk.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
That's what we should do.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
Three.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
So I'm gonna go three Jessicalba. She had moments all
across my childhood. Number two, I'm gonna go Megan Good
specifically and stomp the yard absolutely just gorgeous. Yeah. But
my number one and like truly where I can identify
my sexual awakening as a young pre pubescent teenage boy,

(06:41):
was in I now pronounce you chucking Larry with Jessica
bial cool undresses. I can literally still see the color
of repainties in my head, and like, for some reason
that just did it for me, So yeah, that those
are my three Jessica.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Guy, Yeah, go ahead your turn and from that air
Jessica Simpson.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
I was about to say, if you're on Dukes of Hazzard,
I don't want.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
To I don't want to turn hatevil. But man, Jessica
Simpson had a historic fall off.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
All right, she was up at one point was so
was google her? Now I need to refresher Jessica Simpson.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
I know just the recent photo of her.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Yeah, I mean she got a little work done. It
doesn't look great.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
Little is an understatement.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Pull up that Dukes of Hazzard, Jessica Simpsons. Those are
all fantastic. I love the pull of Meghan Good. That
is a deep cut. I feel like Meghan Good. And
I'll use the movie Waist Deep with tyresee.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
Bad.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Matt's looking it up right now, Pull it up, Jamie,
Meghan Good. Jessica Alba just not listening. You must not
have seen the movie. Nice Rufe jack Ass. Yeah, yeah,

(08:13):
I do like the Jessica Alba play. I've always said
this one just I think solely because we share a birthday.
But Jennifer Andison Baddie always always cold man Damn, that's
tough because y'all took some really good ones.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
That's why I was trying to go as early as possible.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
We can share, go ahead, you.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
Can always obviously. I was about to say, making Fox
and Transformers.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Yeah, also one that also uh Brooklyn Decker, Yeah, and
just go with it.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
N just kind of in that early two thousands.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
Shout Andy Roddick, what to say?

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Yeah, you just said, yeah, he's married to somebody. Hove
who do you?

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Number one? First childhood Crush Care Nightly Nightly. Another sleeper
that I loved was I don't know, I don't really
know what other movies she was in, but Brandy and
Joe Dirt. Yeah. And then I also have a interesting
soft spot for like Middle of the Road, dumb rom coms,

(09:26):
chick flicks, slash like maybe even into the Hallmark world
of like the female main character in those movies. I
always find them attractive.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Oh just I got a generation.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
Yeah what about I know their name, but you see
them on some mid major movies You're like, oh.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
This is got I got to I think Cameron Diaz
used to be. It was about to say, smoking and
her personality obviously is funny a movie that I weirdly
loved growing up was Van Helsing and so Kate was it?
Kate Beckinsale?

Speaker 6 (10:01):
Yeah? Oh another one? Uh?

Speaker 1 (10:06):
And Scooby Doo the blonde girl and Scooby Doo.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Who's married to Freddy Prince Junior.

Speaker 6 (10:12):
Still, no, that's Daphne.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
I'm thinking it's Mary Jane that the Maggie kicks Scoob
out of the sea.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
For I thought you were going to deep cut on
Scooby Doo.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
Two.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
In the Reporter, the interviews fred.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
At the beginning a minute seven are attractive, she was.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
And I love that film.

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Series soil Velma though crazy.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
Good one, great one.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Yeah, you're a Star Wars guy though.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
I like that one.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
That's a good one.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Definitely.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Throw up there in the in the Hall of Grades.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Flood the comments with who you're Yeah, child, I'm sure
we're missing a lot of people, but let us know
who else we're missing.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Next question from Striped Up Official Favorite athletes growing up.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Number one jumps off Michael Vick.

Speaker 6 (11:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
I love Michael Vick's He was in Madden right when
our generation was getting into video games. The most fun
player to play with, the most fun player to watch
and just something the NFL had never seen before. I
personally had the black Michael Vick jersey, which I was
a proud owner of still amb.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah, fu just got a black one, a black Michael
vic jersey, and it's got you got it signed from
he got it through work and he's the biggest Falcons fan.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
So like it's sweet sweet Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
I know Michael vic jersey.

Speaker 7 (11:33):
When I was little too, I didn't even like the Falcons
that I had Michael vic Jersey I have.

Speaker 6 (11:37):
Are we gonna do? We just want to, like to
your talk, like the entire thing. We just want to
kind of throw out names.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Kind of like throwing the names cause I mean, like
growing up here obviously, like a bunch of mine are
gonna be from the Titan Yeah. So like Steven Eddie,
the freakon Curse, Like all those guys are awesome.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
I will say on that note, Chris Johnson just because
he was in an a era where the Titans were
not very good and for the first time since the
Steve and Eddie era, he put like a true name
for Nashville, got us in bigger media markets. The chop
a city juke it was.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
I mean, he would touch the ball and the you
would stand up because anything could happen. Yeah, outside of
the Titans, And this pains me, but I always loved
ed Reid and then I'm trying to think of like
some running backs outside of.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
I mean me, Jamal Charles being a Chiefs fan like
that kind of shows that I was a Chief finn
since since the mud got a jersey bow Dexter mccluster
brought like Megatron Calvin Johnson. I literally got a Calvin
Johnson jersey for Christmas and I wanted like just to
like wear it and like play football in the snow.

(12:55):
I also got an RG three jersey that Christmas as well.
Damn yeah, big ARG three guy back in the day.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
You don't like him Christmas at twenty thirteen, he was
jumping Yeah, yeah, I want.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
To throw a few out for like different sports.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
Because yeah, I gotta like it.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
MLB guys, Yeah, I'm Cardinals fancer, like Larry Fitz was
like right when I was like getting huge into football's
like that's why I'm a Cardinals fan. Larry Fitz also
grew up like a huge Tom Brady fan. I mean,
you either love him or hate him. I was on
the side that loved him so like watching him like
he I mean he was childhood and adulthood because he
played for fifteen million years, but like those two for football,
but then like growing up and like the DFW, like

(13:35):
Dirt Novitzky was huge, like and they were good every
year with him, like fifty wins minimum, and you know
Dirk is just like he's a Dallas great. And then
like baseball, Josh Hamilton.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
I was gonna say, the Rangers used to have some.

Speaker 7 (13:48):
Dogs and he was like he was so good and
and like he obviously had some troubles and his career
is a little shorter than it should have been. But
Josh Hamilton like going to Rangers games and watching him
like almost guaranteed he it's a home run.

Speaker 6 (14:01):
Did you ever read his book?

Speaker 3 (14:03):
I did, but I a long time ago.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
I read. I read his book like three summers in
a row for like summer reading.

Speaker 7 (14:08):
Yeah, he Josh Hamilton like he used to he he
had daughters. He stills daughters obviously, but they were like
the Samish age as my sister, and they would play
at the same like ballpark for their like little league,
and he would just be out there like playing catch,
like in between games or before games with.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Like all the brothers who had to go watch their
sister plays, Like me.

Speaker 7 (14:24):
And my brother, all the other guys like Josh Hamilton
would go like play catch, like football catch with he
was he was like he was cool but yeah, obviously
unfortunate that he had some troubles, but he was he
was a huge, like a star, so Josh Hamilton.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
I got Solomon Kalou. He played at Chelsea. He also
played for Ghana in FIFA World Cup. I loved him.
He was outside on the left or right wing, wherever
you wanted him. Khalu. Wayne Rooney was my favorite soccer
player growing up, Dragba. He was fun to play with.

(15:02):
Should there's actually so many Arian Robin, Yeah, ibro Ebra
is awesome. I'm trying to think specifically from that time. Seedorf,
Saydorf was crazy when you get him on the Legends teams,
Ronaldinho some of those. Yeah, Dwayne Wade for basketball. He
was always my number one guy. Steve Nash growing up.

Speaker 7 (15:24):
Steve Nash, I Steve Nasher when he was in Dallas. Yeah,
he was about to be my favorite player, like when
I was really little and then and then he just
let like he's gone, and then it was Dirk.

Speaker 6 (15:32):
Dude.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
The amount of times that I tried to do the
Jason Williams behind the back and elbow pass my driveway
was should have been illegal, and I wasn't even passing
it to anybody. Yeah, in my head, I'm just like,
that's probably getting there. I need to need that one's
to be a little bit more left. So I love
that one. There's so many athletes Lebron is like, because

(15:57):
I'm a Dwayne Wade guy. But yeah, true, but a
little later that's and it's not even that like I
like Lebron, but I was never like a Lebron fan.
I'm a Dwayne Wade fan. I just think Lebron is
the best basketball player of all time.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
That's fair.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
On the basketball realm Alan iverson such a huge influence
and why I started loving basketball at a young age for
me and my brother. My brother probably debatably loved him more,
but more of a respect factor if we're staying on
NBA mellow, but like specifically like two K twelve Melow
where he was just a corner assassin, just like Carmelo Anthony.

(16:38):
So for all the JIMT wise, yeah, Matt was wondering
and then and then in college and that as a kid,
but I loved Zebo so much on the Grizzlies. He
was just such an awesome dude to watch and I
just loved him. And this one is kind of out
there and not a specific person, but in elementary school
I loved the Notre Dame team that Charlie I as

(17:00):
the head coach, Brady Quainn quarterback, and Jeff Samarju's and
Jeff samarj was like my favorite player.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
Yeah, for a long time. And then what was he do?

Speaker 2 (17:09):
He goes to the MLB coach so honestly, which is fine,
But I just love that era of Notre Dame football
too for some reason. But yeah, there's so many good ones.
You can think.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
It's funny when you just like attached to like an
era of like a.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
Yeah, move into our actual teams, like yeah, we have
mentioned Tennessee where like South Carolina players.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
I feel like for us too, Like I feel like
we all played sports video games growing up, you kind
of just go to that era of like, oh, like
I remember playing MLB two K eight with like Jose
Rays and David Raight and like I was a Mets fan.

Speaker 6 (17:43):
Because of those two for.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Yeah, and like went to a Phillies Mets game because
of how big of a fan I was. But like you,
you're right, like you kind of just stick to an era, and.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
For me, like I think of those eras in video
game terms.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
Yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Think of my video the l Street like as a
kid and will just kind of like too young to
like really appreciate like the Miami Days and like stuff
like that. But then like you play them a video game,
you're like, no, like I've been here the whole time. Yeah,
in the secretly this.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Is gonna be a change of pace. But was NFL
Street better than the NBA Street.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
Has to be? I feel like that's not even debatable.
Great games like NBA Street, NBA Street Volume.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Two, Like I feel like I played Volume two.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
I think as a whole, I think as a whole,
NBA Street uh edges out NFL Street, but individually, NFL
Street the first one, outranks any version of NBA Street.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
I hate that I never got into it.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Man, it was all I played such a moment in.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Like I think played Volume two. I remember playing so much.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
It was cool, but like it just felt like the
grass Fix almost like felt too much, like they got
like there's a huge jump in like graphics cards, I assume,
and I just remember seeing it being like it's almost
when you see like the eight K camera on an
NFL game, like something feels off.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
I don't know, I think of work done too. I
loved War.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Yeah, dude, he was Yeah, Cadillac Williams.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Cadillac Williams, Michael Turner, He's I don't think he's in
the video game, but I'm naming dudes next one. Okay,
completely different change of pace. Best memories with our parents
before we get to that one?

Speaker 5 (19:40):
Should we we should make I think we should give
our favorite as kids college players from our teams, okay,
because I mean.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Eric Barry was such a legendes and like still is
the cancer goes back to the NFL, Like I think
he's such an awesome story and like you get somebody
who despises Tennessee and they still be like I respect
Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
It was probably probably that's probably mine from growing up.
I mean that song alone. Uh yeah, I mean I'd
probably second Eric Berry as a monster.

Speaker 6 (20:15):
Mine would maybe be Beanie Wells Cardinals legend.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Yeah, Beanie Wellsida, bean Wells Cardinals, Jersey.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
This is a deep well Alex Gonzalez number eleven on
Ohio State. Yeah, he was just like just I thought
it was so crazy that he was bald and he
was in college like you're supposed to but I thought
you got yeah. So and now he's like running for
governor of Indiana or something, so like he's.

Speaker 5 (20:44):
You gotta start campaigning for him on the pod.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
This was also like two three years ago when I
was listening to uh No. This is actually like five
years ago when I was listening to McAfee because they
played together at the colts. He maybe and I think
he's running for governor at in Ohio or was, but yeah,
for whatever reason, like just I remember his bald head
number eleven just out there.

Speaker 7 (21:04):
Yeah, I have a couple like pretty big one Like
obviously Oakham and State was on my radar when I
was like ten, eleven, twelve thirteen in that range. I
loved because it was like around the same time like
I was really falling love with football Denard Robinson and
I couldn't realize, like you know that was like he
they were good when he was there, relatively speaking of
how they had been and for me, like I just

(21:26):
see this dude, like I thought it was dreads look cool,
same REUSA like fits he was running around just like
looking back on it, it's so funny because I like
I thought, like, for sure, he's like the best player
I've ever seen, and looking back on it, like he
really was, Like he was good obviously, ye, but he
just wasn't like like he didn't play out in the NFL.
I got an NFL jersey at his But I love
Denard Robinson and like, but they were always just like

(21:49):
bad and then right it was all Taylor seems by
the way, like I'll go to middle school lunch table
and have to like fight for my life when Michigan
lost a game, I thinks a lot of Taylor, but
but you know who was there picked me up, like
right when football season ended, Trey Burke.

Speaker 6 (22:03):
YEA love Trey bow basketball.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Basketball. Trey Burke was so good.

Speaker 7 (22:07):
And I remember, if I'm sure y'all remember the famous
like game time three pointer against Kansas. I was at
that game. It was at Cowboys Stadium, huge venue, sweet
sixteen March Madison, number one Kansas, and in that game
was just like that's like a core memory of mine
as being at that game watching Trey Burke hit that
shot when they're down big, like with two minutes left.
All the Kansas fans around us were talking shit. But yeah,

(22:30):
Trey Burke and then yeah, like those two guys like
were my middle school.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
In your area.

Speaker 7 (22:36):
I know, it's kind of insane that they, like Cowboys
Stadium hosted Sweet sixteen. It was like they hosted the
Final Four the next year, but like Cowboy Stadium hosted
the Sweet sixteen, and it was it was fun core
memory Trey Burke.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
Yeah, I think mine. There's just so many because as
a kid especially, I was insanely obsessed with all of
the game Cock players and if I had to choose
a couple. Jasper Brinkley, he was a linebacker. He played
for the Vikings for a little while. But after a
Clemson Carolina game at Clemson, you can rush the field
after we won, and I went out on the field

(23:14):
and I asked him for his glove and he gave
me his glove and that was I mean, that was it,
Like nothing was gonna make my year better. Then I
went on Facebook the next day and I messaged him,
I sent him a friend request, he accepted it. I
sent him a message, hey, bro, you gave me your glove,
thank you so much, like you're my favorite player, just
the ultimate kid message, and he just replies back, appreciate you, bro,

(23:35):
And I was like, dude, I'm telling you. I was
so hype. I will always love. I'm like friends with
the most random two thousand and like five to nine
game call players who a lot of people don't even know.
But then other than that, I would say Sidney Rice

(23:56):
he was I got his jersey for Christmas. He was
my first ever game Cock jersey, and I begged my
parents to put his because he did s Rice on
the back, not just Rice. I begged them to take
it to an embroidered place, like, can you guys please
get this printed on because I want people to know
it's the Sydney Rice.

Speaker 6 (24:14):
Yeah, that's do.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
Those are my two.

Speaker 6 (24:16):
Should we go into the next year.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Matt's Niel.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Johnny Manziel was like, I remember I this was more
so when we were in college.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
That sucks, but I got I got like.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
Johnny Manzel because you're so young.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
Johnny Manziel had like a store for I think maybe
three or four months, like an online store, and I
went on his store. I had a bracelet from his
that said like Everybody's coming back from something, a sweatshirt
that had like.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
The money sign on like the sleeves.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
And then like a T shirt that had like the
dollar bill with his face in it. And I bought
all of those, and I I wanted I would like.
I actually messaged the store like when they were sold out, like, hey,
when is stuff coming back out?

Speaker 6 (24:59):
Because I was I wanted. It's so bad.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
I'm guilty of that.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
I still have a Johnny Menzel Browns jersey that I
bought his rookie year.

Speaker 6 (25:06):
That's sick.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
You have a five hundred dollars.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
That's wild. What was the next one?

Speaker 6 (25:14):
Best memories with our parents?

Speaker 5 (25:16):
With our parents?

Speaker 3 (25:18):
What do you mean?

Speaker 2 (25:21):
I have one off? I have one off the top
if like some of y'all probably even heard the story,
And I need to think of one that involves my mom,
just in case she listens and she's heartbroken that I'm
going to tell one about me and my dad. But
when I was living in New York before I started
working for Busting twenty nineteen Titans going this crazy playoff run.
But they were the last seed in the NFL Playoffs,

(25:43):
playing against number one Patriots. I'm living in New York.
I take a Greyhound to Boston. My dad ends up
flying from Nashville to meet me in Boston. We go
to the game. Titans handled business. It was Tom Brady's
last game ever as a Patriot. We picked them off
win the game, had awesome seats and just like that moment,
just like as being a Titans fan my whole life

(26:04):
and like going to games since they came to Nashville
ninety nine. It was such a huge moment, not only
like as a fan, but like for me and my dad,
like the guy who's like bought all the tickets my
whole life, and like for him to be like coming
all the way like that far just to meet me,
and like, I don't know if you've ever ridden on
a greyhound bus before, but it is not as cracked

(26:25):
up as you may think it is. And so just
like the journey of getting there and then like you
you basically are going just because you're close enough to
be like I need to go. You have no intention
to win or like expectation to win. You're like, we're
just I'm gonna have fun regardless and we end up winning,
and like it was just I have this photo of
me and my dad from like in the stadium, and
every time I see it, I just like get like

(26:46):
the biggest like bursts of like, man, I love you dude,
so but I also love my mom too. So if
you're listening, happy, I have so many good memories with you.
I just can't even think of him right now.

Speaker 5 (26:56):
You got time to think, Yeah, other people can go.

Speaker 6 (27:00):
I gotta think, well, do you want to go first?

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Uh, you can go if you want by I got
I got a few.

Speaker 6 (27:05):
I have what I was gonna do one with my
mom and my dad, so you can go, all right.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
I my like favorite memories.

Speaker 7 (27:10):
It was kind of like recurring, like we did it
every spring break and like this is maybe basically but
like just like going We would go to Colorado and
like as a family go skiing, and like when you're
like when I'm growing up, like middle school, high school,
like having something to do like like that with your
parents at the same time when we're just like a
squad going down the mountain was just like so fun
because like we all like we grew up like snowboarding

(27:33):
out there like whatever. And then would go and we'd
all be like nobody was left behind, like we were
all good, Like it was just a fun thing that
we all did together that was really fun. And then
I remember, like in elementary school, middle school, like the
excitement really elementary school of like getting my mom like
pull us out of school to like go to a
Rangers game and we'd go as a family a Rangers
game and like being like peace like everyone else that

(27:55):
they know I'm wearing my Rangers shirt and I'm going
to the Rangers game or like and I'm sure y'all
school the same thing, like having that special lunch table
in the back your mom or whoever would like come
bring you food and you could go see to the
special table with them, and then like you get to
bring one friend every time every time my mom that
before we did it and we had we were allowed
to bring one friend. So like I was at my

(28:16):
lunch table with my friends, like my mom would come
bring Chick fil a or something, and then I get
to put like one of my best friends to go back,
sorry everyone else, and we go back and have lunch.
Like that's just like a good memory, like cause like
it's such a small thing. But like when you're like
you see your mom coming food and you're like, oh,
this is like the best lunch ever.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
It's Tuesday. You don't even know what's going on.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
Just queen.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Those memories are so good, though.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
I'd sick.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
Yeah, my one for my mom, it's not so much
from like a childhood. But when I was moving to Charlotte,
it was me, my mom, and then my buddy's mom
who was moving down with the three of us. Flew
down to Charlotte early, like Friday or Saturday morning, and
uh to like go look for apartments and it was
just the three of us and like being like that

(28:59):
was the first someone's moving out obviously, and uh like
being able to just like take that big step like
moving out, having your mom there, and like obviously pretty
sure all of us are mama's boys.

Speaker 6 (29:10):
At least I'll speak for myself. I am definitely a
mama's boy.

Speaker 8 (29:13):
Uh sorry call back to mine, but yeah, like just
be like taking that like scary step, but also like
having your mom there and like kind of like in
some sort of way like you know it's gonna be
all right.

Speaker 6 (29:29):
That was cool.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
And then for my dad we went he took me
and I want to say, two other of my buddies.
We went to uh the Penn State Ohio State white
out when Ohio State one in overtime, and that was
just so sick. Like the four, like the three me
and two of my buddies and him all just kind
of there and like I feel like when you're with

(29:50):
your dad and you're at like a sporting event, like
hey Dad.

Speaker 6 (29:53):
Can we go do this? He's like, yeah, absolutely, whatever
you want. Like that, just it's just fun doing those
kind of things.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
For me. Oh man, there are there are so many,
but I get the one. Like the funniest moment that
stands out was one time my dad and I were
at the beach and we were bodysurfing and these were
some pretty intense waves for South Carolina beaches. I don't
know if there's a storm coming through or something, but regardless,
we were already having the best time. But then there

(30:22):
was like this huge wave that was coming that neither
of us were prepared for, and so I start swimming inside.
He starts coming at me. We run into each other
and the wave is like getting ready to crash, and
we're both trying to grab each other and like basically
throw the other out the way into the wave, and
so he gets mad at me, not mad, but he's like,

(30:43):
why are you trying to throw me into the wave?
I was like, you were trying to throw me into
the wave, and we were just it was just like
a dumb father son moment where you're just like both
try to throw each other under the bus. And we
just had the giggles the rest of the day. And
then with my mom it was the same thing. It's
like nothing sotill happened. But we were in Chicago because
my dad in high school, he traveled a lot for work,

(31:04):
so we went to Chicago one time with him, but
he was gone, and we were in a hotel room
by ourselves, two separate beds. Something happens that's just like
makes you laugh a little bit. And then my mom
and I had a laughing fit for like four hours
to where it's like four am and where it's like

(31:24):
it gets quiety. We're just like she's like, no stop.
I was laying there quiet and she starts laughing and
we were so tired the next day.

Speaker 6 (31:34):
But get the giggles.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
Yeah, it's just like such a wholesome mother son moment,
cause my mom and I are super close, Like when
I moved to college, it's only an hour and a
half away, but me and my mom it was basically
just us in high school because my dad would travel
a bunch during the week. And so when she dropped
me off and I'm not like really a crier like that,
And when she dropped me off and we were pulling away,

(31:57):
I was like we both just broke down because it
was like each other's best friends. And they was like, man,
we're really the air is over.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (32:04):
I was like, dang, I did not expect it to
hit me this much. That's cool.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
Yeah, I feel like my some of mine are like
little moments like I remember my dad coming to Alabama
my last year for the Iron Bowl and sat in
the student section and my dad is a massive Tennessee fan,
and I was like, dude, like we got to stand
the whole time, like you you know this, and he

(32:29):
had a blast. He like got down there Friday, Uh,
we went out and the next day he's on the
grill making jalapeno poppers. He's bought in, like loving being
the host. And then yeah, it was it was time
for the game. It was a night game, so it
was it was a long day, but he it was
a it was a good move for Jeff being a
balls fan coming for the Iron Bowl student section. I

(32:52):
just remember that being a whole debacle in itself, like
getting an adult student like a student ticket. Like I
don't even remember how we off, but yeah, it was good.
Like there was a buddy of mine hammered behind us,
like kept falling into my dad, and my dad eventually
just turned around and grabbed him. I was like, oh God,
just about to swing on this guy. He's like stand

(33:13):
in front of him, like he just basically switched spots
with him, and I was like, all right, you're you're
a trooper right now, I'd say with my mom, some
of my favorite memories are probably when she worked at
the Arena. So my mom was like one of the
first event coordinators when Bridgestone opened in the late nineties,

(33:33):
and I would just go and like run around as kid.
That was also the timeframe when wrestling was ruined for
me because I'd got to see rehearsal no, so that
was a huge bummer. Another like memory I have is
when the Nashville Cats, the old Arena football team, Uh,

(33:55):
the turf was down, and Backstreet Boys actually were out
doing doing rehearsal for their show and like throwing football
with those guys. So that was another random memory. But
those are two things that I just remember. But uh,
growing up running around that building was was pretty wild,
like some of the stuff that I'm sure I would
see all that stuff. Yeah, so those are those are

(34:17):
some fun ones.

Speaker 6 (34:19):
Not sentimental there boys.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Oh wait, hold on, I want to give my mom
some credit. It's a quick one too, and it's not
even like some you know, sentimental or like crazy memory.
But I come back home after my freshman year of
college and like you just kind of hanging around and
how much to do? And my mom's like, you want
to go play tennis? My mom's a really good competitive
tennis player. It has been for like twenty plus years.

(34:42):
And I'm like, yeah, sure. As we walk from my
house down to Berwin Academy right down the street, and
I'm like joke with my mom. I'm like, hey, like
I'm gonna go easy on you, like I'm in the
prime of my life, like a keep up. And she's
like laughing, and I'm like, why are you laughing? She's like,
you'll see and she beat me six six one, like
as like a fifty having year old woman. Just absolutely

(35:03):
she's not even moving. I'm sprinting everywhere. She's just placing
everywhere that I'm not. And I just remember like walking back,
like not even the slightest bit upsets being like, damn,
like those are my genetics, Like this is this should
hopefully play out maybe a positive for me, but had
a lot of respect walking home that day. Definitely brutal

(35:23):
to lose to your mom. But you're like, you know what,
if it's anyone, I'm glad it's you.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 5 (35:29):
I think the message in this whole thing is I
hear everyone's stories. This is before the dads some they
have to hit on. It's funny to see the moments
that we picked out and like your mom bringing food
to lunch, like you just hanging out with your mom
at the arena, playing tennis, moving like none of it
was these big things that they were doing for us.

(35:49):
It's all truly just being there, which crazy that that's
what that's what sticks with you. Yeah, just fun shout
out moms, shoutout moms and dads do.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
For the fourth one is what about your personality has
changed since working here. We'll do that one last, because
I feel like your favorite cartoon in TV shows growing
up is like just kind of throwing names out there again.

Speaker 4 (36:15):
Damn favorite cartoon in shows.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Growing favorite cartoon slash TV shows growing up?

Speaker 5 (36:21):
I mean off for a Scooby Doo.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
Of course, Scooby Doo rips. Did you guys ever watched
the Transformer animated shows?

Speaker 4 (36:29):
I think it was outside.

Speaker 6 (36:33):
I was outside too different eras Okay, we didn't have
to say it like that.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
I just was stayed in the flag. We're on a podcast,
we're talking.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
Did you all watch Danny Phantom or was that after
all time?

Speaker 5 (36:44):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (36:44):
Yeah, Danny Phantom. I was huge.

Speaker 5 (36:47):
It was the coolest.

Speaker 6 (36:48):
Yeah it was.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
Man.

Speaker 7 (36:49):
I had a little like video game on my DS
or whatever, Danny Phantom.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
You could switch between ghost mode and whatever. There's the
evil Danny Phantom.

Speaker 7 (36:59):
Me turn Yeah, Timmy Timmy Jimmy Neutrons.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
People when I grew up, people called me Jimmy Neutron
because I had such a big head.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
To bring that up the sore spot.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
Yeah, we don't need to talk about new Tron.

Speaker 3 (37:12):
Have y'all heard it?

Speaker 7 (37:13):
I heard you probably have. It was a cartoon network.
It was called Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
I love that show.

Speaker 7 (37:20):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that show. I like that was one
of my favorite cartoons.

Speaker 6 (37:28):
That show scared the ship out of it. Dog, Yes, Bro,
I would not. I would. That show would come on
and start to get scary part and I would just
turn it off.

Speaker 4 (37:36):
What about like ed Ed and Eddie?

Speaker 6 (37:38):
That was that was before like that was before my time, but.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
A little bit to give a nod to Eddie, I
mean it's right here.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
Yeah, rocket Power rock Power is awesome.

Speaker 5 (37:52):
Yeah, hey, Arnold, what is that?

Speaker 6 (37:56):
What's what was the Dexter one?

Speaker 5 (37:58):
Dexter's Laboratory?

Speaker 2 (38:00):
Yeah, Decks Recess was a good one too.

Speaker 5 (38:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
I never watched that one.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
I was a bit I liked. I like Sweet Life
of Zach and Cody.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Yeah, I was all the hits on.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
I wasn't car fan. Yeah yeah, Victorious.

Speaker 3 (38:15):
Wizards of Waverley Place, which.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Is that tap in there?

Speaker 3 (38:21):
That's a Raven Corey in the house.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Yeah, but you got to go before that, yeah with Raven.

Speaker 3 (38:27):
Yeah, yeah, that's a raven too.

Speaker 6 (38:29):
Did you like Sweet Life of Zach and Cody or
Sweet Life that Cody on Deck.

Speaker 5 (38:32):
I didn't watch on Deck.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
On Deck was made.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
This is the clear occasion of a different age for sure.

Speaker 6 (38:42):
Yeah, it's I feel like it's two totally different shows.

Speaker 4 (38:45):
I know one both of them I liked.

Speaker 6 (38:48):
I liked on Deck because I think I was too young.

Speaker 7 (38:52):
It was kind of like growing up with them, Like
you went from Zack and Cody to Sweet Life on Deck.
It was like a continue when you're in that.

Speaker 4 (38:58):
Relationship with him ended they got on the boat.

Speaker 5 (39:01):
When they got on Deck, I was still I was
still I was still young, and they got too big
when they had Kurt Warner on.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
They had Kurt Warner, Larry Fitz there.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
Now, I feel like, do you remember like those like
I don't know what would you call that, You're like
not a reality show, but like the real people. And
then like the like a celebrity like a Larry Fitzgeral
Wild come on and then every like the live crowd
audience could.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
Just live audience.

Speaker 6 (39:29):
Yeah, like just those.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
Those loved all those shows.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
George Lopez, George Lopez is good, fresh Prince, my favorite freshman.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
Bro TV was so fun to watch back then and now.

Speaker 6 (39:41):
It's just fucking woke media, dude, all.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
Right, and it's just to me, it's just a laugh
for those types of shows now it's.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
So formula base where it's like one popular thing happened
eight years ago was trying to recreate the same thing
different ways.

Speaker 7 (39:58):
Right, you know what's funny is like I totally agree
with all but like I also just don't dive into
what's on children's TV now, Like I have no idea.

Speaker 5 (40:03):
What's happening in the Fresh Prince world where it's not
really like a kids show, it's more of like a
middle school teenager. Yeah that, Like I don't know, I
doubt that somebody would come up with something as good
as Fresh Prince right now.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
Yeah, we were in the golden age because they didn't
have shows like that before. Like nowadays they're not as
good for sure. Ones for sure still Drake and Josh
it's up. Yeah, definitely here you crazy Steve.

Speaker 6 (40:40):
Crazy, Steve.

Speaker 7 (40:44):
Crazy Sea moving on to I Carly, I know when
he was the best character on that show. Yeah, one
of the best characters, Spencer, Like other ones like Boy
Meets World if you're like old like that, or Full House.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
I love full House.

Speaker 4 (40:58):
Full House was great. They were just good ones.

Speaker 3 (40:59):
Some on oh I love It's the classic.

Speaker 6 (41:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Actually I loved it until they made that podcast.

Speaker 3 (41:06):
Yeah. I didn't listen to the podcast.

Speaker 7 (41:09):
Yeah, it was like, yeah, they're like twelve, They're like, yeah,
we're just running around having sex.

Speaker 6 (41:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
Yeah, talk about when I gave you head that one time.
It's like, Cookie, shut up.

Speaker 5 (41:22):
That show, did y'all watch?

Speaker 3 (41:23):
We've mentioned it. Zoe one on one, I was.

Speaker 7 (41:26):
I wanted to go to school in Montana, like I like.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
Rico was a king in Hannah, Montana.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
Yeah, Hannah's older Branda, young little dude.

Speaker 5 (41:38):
Oh yeah, hustler.

Speaker 3 (41:39):
What's his name? Her brother Jackson Jackson.

Speaker 6 (41:42):
You know he was forty years old in that show.

Speaker 5 (41:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
Have you seen the picture of him in like Shack
the same age old?

Speaker 6 (41:47):
Yeah, forty.

Speaker 5 (41:48):
I don't think he was thirty.

Speaker 6 (41:49):
He was thirty and he's like mid to late he.

Speaker 5 (41:51):
Was like mid thirties.

Speaker 7 (41:52):
And there's a picture of him with like, yes, John Cena,
him and John Cena the same agent. Obviously, Johnson was
like Jack and like looks like a man. Yeah, he's
like playing a kid on the show.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
I thought, like Zoe one on one, like was shot
at like a fake place and then you find out
that's Pepperdine and like Brooks roommate went to Pepperdine.

Speaker 6 (42:11):
I'm like, so was it like the show? She's like
it was.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
Imagine how many times the average Pepperdine student like gets
like that reference, like, oh have you seen?

Speaker 4 (42:19):
I wonder what.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
Was I think it's well, I was gonna thought you say,
like admission, like what's the cost of it?

Speaker 4 (42:27):
And fucking no, that would be probably different word.

Speaker 6 (42:31):
Yeah, I jumped to exclusion.

Speaker 4 (42:34):
I'm trying to look up some other shows, the Grassy
I never I never never watched Family. I liked Oscar
Hit My Ride was great. I think afterhod.

Speaker 1 (42:49):
Did you got like this isn't necessarily like a cartoon
cartooner show, but like Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe growing up.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
Like uh Busters?

Speaker 6 (42:59):
But what was the food challenge one?

Speaker 9 (43:01):
Uh Pond Pond stars American pickers, those Discovery channels like
Untamed and Uncut on Animal Planet where like the animals
were like trying.

Speaker 5 (43:13):
To crocodile people.

Speaker 6 (43:16):
R I P.

Speaker 7 (43:17):
I was big on is Crushing It dancing. I was
big on Phineas and ferb too. Thing a little earlier
than that, rug Rats. I love Rugrats movie when they
go to Tokyo and like the d v D is
like this, like bright orange.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
I think I just still see it so vividly in
my head.

Speaker 7 (43:38):
But I also rocked with the backyard Igans. I just
saw that one too. I love the back.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
I like Oswald y Weeny.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
Backyardigans is always on at my dentist office. So that's
was sick.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
That gave me my imagination.

Speaker 5 (43:55):
Yeah, what was the what was the show? Well, another
one that was I liked was Invader Zim but the
show where the guy had a magic pen or pencil
and he could create Eld's purple crown. No, he could
go into this world where he would draw it, and
then he would go into this imaginary world talk about nah,
but that's probably where he's born.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
Dude.

Speaker 5 (44:19):
It was just like this magic pencil and it was
an epic show.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
I feel reason like it sounds very familiar.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
I know Kim Possible.

Speaker 5 (44:30):
Kim Possible is good Impossible, not kids.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
Next Door Kim Possible, Like anytime I think of that show.
My one my one college roommate, uh, was like talking
to this one girl in college and like, for whatever reason,
they just stopped talking.

Speaker 6 (44:45):
Then we went into their house for like a party
because everybody was there, and then they had like his
picture said do not let him, do not let him in,
and like underneath it said looks like rufus kim possible.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
So that's brutal.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
It was a dog.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
But I also love Power Rangers, like the animation and
the live action. The live action was incredible.

Speaker 4 (45:08):
Yeah, that was actually really freaking good.

Speaker 5 (45:10):
It's called it's called shock Zone.

Speaker 4 (45:13):
I almost ask you if it was Penny crayon.

Speaker 5 (45:15):
But I even think it's like an in between shows,
this thing would come on.

Speaker 6 (45:20):
I don't know if that looks familiar.

Speaker 2 (45:22):
That looks familiar.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
Yeah, dude, that's a that's a deep cut, deep cut.
That is a deep cut. Damn Yeah, dude, ben Ten,
I was actually huge.

Speaker 7 (45:32):
I was huge on Big ten on Ben Ten, dude,
I wanted to watch I think I had a toy
watch from that show.

Speaker 6 (45:40):
Like, oh yeah, yeah, exactly what talking about one?

Speaker 1 (45:43):
Yeah, I mean Pokemon yeah, Pokemon.

Speaker 6 (45:47):
Yu gi Oh I watched.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
Turtles.

Speaker 3 (45:51):
Oh yeah, I've been on that.

Speaker 5 (45:52):
That's why y'all got to get back on anime. That's
what you're missing out on.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Or you can you can soak in some American animation.
Rick and Morty solar opposites.

Speaker 5 (46:01):
Whatever you want.

Speaker 4 (46:02):
Bo Jack Horseman, bo Jack.

Speaker 2 (46:04):
Horsemans for family.

Speaker 4 (46:07):
I did just uh switching, I guess in the realm.
But I started Game of Thrones over last night.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
Your tweet. That's a hefty commitment, but wow, how fun
is it.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
I'm about to be following you on that.

Speaker 2 (46:17):
It was.

Speaker 4 (46:19):
The first three episodes.

Speaker 7 (46:21):
Yeah, I just watched it last year and I'm on board.
I just watched it last year and I'm about to
start again because Addie hasn't seen it, and I'm like, I've.

Speaker 3 (46:32):
Got like this time, like, yeah, it's a good time
to watch it.

Speaker 6 (46:35):
Foun and I got like two seasons in and then
we moved.

Speaker 2 (46:38):
M left the streaming platform there.

Speaker 5 (46:43):
TV. I don't know if I'm ever gonna watch it.

Speaker 4 (46:45):
Dude, you should.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
It's a scary commitment, but once you get in there, man,
it truly will change your life. It's it's speaking of
how we're like they're making the same you know, three
shows over and over. Game of Thrones is out of
that box.

Speaker 5 (47:00):
They truly all because there are some amazing shows right now,
but they're all like these.

Speaker 6 (47:05):
Long out commitment commitment.

Speaker 5 (47:07):
There's no twenty four minutes of genius anymore shrinking exactly.
So when those shows hit, it's like Boom finally.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
Got the new season.

Speaker 2 (47:17):
Yeah, actually January sixthdy.

Speaker 6 (47:20):
What about Stranger Things?

Speaker 5 (47:22):
I was twenty I like Stranger Things.

Speaker 2 (47:23):
I know people have their own thing. I like singer Things.
It just makes it. I just feel comfortable watching it,
like it just seems like I like it, like if
the weather's a little stormy.

Speaker 4 (47:32):
It was a great first time.

Speaker 2 (47:33):
I'm I'm on the side where I'm like, I'm ready
for it to be over. Yeah, but I will be
tuning in for the whole last season.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
But I will too.

Speaker 7 (47:40):
I can't believe I'm still going. They waited, Yeah, they
waited too long. They're gonna be like grown adults on bicycles.

Speaker 6 (47:45):
Who's like, uh, I know Will who played Will?

Speaker 2 (47:48):
Yeah he's good. Yeah, And like Millie Bobby Brown's like
married to uh bon Jovi, Yeah, bonjo And they adopted
some like kid from Nigeria.

Speaker 4 (47:58):
They old enough to do that.

Speaker 2 (47:59):
They're nineteen. So I guess if you're if you're eleven,
like worth like fucking fifty million, you can probably just
take whenever you want, whether it's a human or not.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Okay, but yeah, all right, last question, how has your
personality changed or grown since working at Busting? Shout out
Spiced official or Spice Official, Splice official, Stripe Stripe Striped Official.
Thirty minutes shout out Striped Official for all of these questions,
you are the best.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
Have you got more and more?

Speaker 6 (48:34):
Anybody else? Yeah? Anybody else? Just give us stuff because
we're down to talk about literally everything.

Speaker 4 (48:42):
Yeah, how personality has changed since working here?

Speaker 1 (48:46):
What about your personality has changed since working for Busting?

Speaker 6 (48:49):
With the boys.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
A lot less free time.

Speaker 6 (48:57):
I mean, y'all two have been here the longest.

Speaker 2 (48:59):
Yeah, I'd say death definitely for myself, Like a maturity
aspect when I first started. I mean not only just
from like being younger, from what was that twenty twenty
now it's twenty twenty five, almost twenty twenty six. I
just feel like I take a lot more responsibility and
like having like guys like Matt under me, and like

(49:20):
just a way that this whole thing's grown, Like we
have our own like you know, we have our own
Joe stuff like that, Like just like being intentional about
like being here. I enjoy that. I feel like it's
not just something that I have to necessarily. Like when
I first started, it was like, who knows where I'm
going to be in a year. Maybe I'll be working

(49:41):
with bust In, maybe I'll be in sales. Now I'm
very confident in my job security and knowing that, like
what I'm putting in here will directly affect you know, tomorrow,
next week, next month, next year mentality. So I don't know.
I think it's just more I've just taken much more
seriously and I feel that I'm taking care of more

(50:04):
than you know. When we first started. Obviously we worked
for free, so it's a good feeling to know that,
like the hours you put in and stressful nights definitely
worth it.

Speaker 4 (50:15):
So yeah, I mean I'll go off of that. And
I think in like what Jack saying too is from
starting with busting where it was to now like having
like a sense of ownership of like where it's grown into.
I know that's not really like how your personality has changed,
but if I could tie it into that going on

(50:37):
to like the maturity part of having ownership, believing in something,
feeling confident enough to like, you know, put your thoughts
and ideas into something that does get put on the
internet every day. I'd also say, hmmm, how personality has changed.

(50:59):
I don't know. I think maybe it's not something that's changed,
but has helped keep part of my personality is the
fun environment we have here, like all the humor that's
around every day along with the grind. So I'm glad
that that part of my personality has stayed around because
you can easily get like, and this is not a

(51:20):
shot anybody that has a desk job, but like sometimes
you can go into a job and you don't get
to feel like yourself. You're there to do the job,
and then you leave and then you get your life back.
That's definitely the pro of working here is you walk
in and you feel like you can stay the same person.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
I mean, like Thomas literally texted us front of the show.

Speaker 4 (51:41):
Yeah, Tom said Wards.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
Texas heard when we were filming the locker room and
he was like, Yo, what are you guys doing? Like
can I pull up? And like that's just kind of
like the environment ones just welcome to come hanging out
to office. But that is the environment we've created where
like guys who don't work here are like can I
come pull up? Say what's up to the guy.

Speaker 4 (51:59):
Yeah, I mean shout out Slade. Like Slade will just
stop by whenever he's in town, and that's what we want.
Like he doesn't message anymore. He just pulls up, says
what's up, and told you this.

Speaker 2 (52:10):
I was sat next to Slade. It turns out was
like what's up?

Speaker 4 (52:15):
I was gonna.

Speaker 2 (52:17):
The Red Rock or Jackson, who I went was to lose.
My brother came up to him, was like, hey, some
dude over there. Uh says he like sells like vintage
gears ands like like skate And I was like, Slay,
we were at the Red Rock. I never can see
him and then obviously me and him were sitting like
one set away from each other.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
But yeah, yeah, I would say, were you done?

Speaker 4 (52:40):
I don't want to do Yeah, yeah I was done.

Speaker 6 (52:42):
Yeah, I would say I was trying to think.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
But like it's I feel like with the growth of
like kind of the company, like you kind of grow
as yourself because I remember that like when I came on,
it was just it was you three and like on
that side with literally I'm wouldn't doubt it's that table
that the three of us, three of us were working
on and Jack literally worked in the back of the.

Speaker 6 (53:05):
Bus, which was I thought was crazy to me.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
Cool yeah, but like you you kind of come in.
It's like and I was a fan of the show beforehand,
so like getting to meet you guys was like God
was kind of star shook to begin with, but like
the sense of ownership that you kind of said, like
eventually taking over like the entire Tuesday episodes and stuff
from you and Blase and like thinking it was the

(53:33):
biggest task of all time and then slowly but surely
like creating that evidence that you can do it, and
like you're you get more and more comfortable with it.
So other than that, I would say, like my communication
I feel like has gotten better in a sense of
like when the first couple of times we would travel,
like you three, like knew everybody, I could talk to
anybody and like had no problem just going up to

(53:55):
somebody random and just starting a conversation that was not
me whatsoever. And I still like I'm not the best
at that, but like being around you guys, and being
around everybody and like kind of going out who we're traveling,
I feel more comfortable and like just kind of from
learning from you guys, being able to just go and
talk and have a conversation with somebody and just kind
of like be more outgoing in that sense and like

(54:17):
more comfortable, I guess in your own skin of like
having a conversation with somebody you don't necessarily know, somebody
random and just kind of like connecting with them for ten, fifteen,
twenty minutes like that.

Speaker 6 (54:29):
So that's how I would say my personality is changed.

Speaker 1 (54:32):
I would kind of before here, I would just go
if I'm out with friends, I would just stick to
my friends kind of like if I don't know you, like,
for lack of a better word, stranger danger type deal.
But like I would just keep to myself and keep
to my crew. But now I'm like more open to
more people.

Speaker 6 (54:49):
That's cool.

Speaker 7 (54:49):
Yeah, I don't i'd this one's hard to dance for me.
I think one of the big things is like maybe independence.
I don't know if that's the right word for it.
It's like a big reason I I left Texas. I
love Texas like everyone that I left behind, so to speak.
Because like when when I'm at Oklhom State that's very
close to where I'm from, you know, I'm visiting home

(55:10):
all the time. My parents are visiting me and my
brother every week for like game day, so like just
stuff like that, Like like I wanted to leave and
I had a little pits up in Atlanta, but I
feel like coming here like it got real, like okay,
like I'm here, like I don't have an end in sight,
Like I come here and I just kind of have
to figure things out. And that's what I wanted for myself.

(55:32):
And like that's just like a huge thing for me.
And I think I've gotten better at it, like I've
always I feel like I've always been kind of independent,
but I really realized like once I got here, like
having to manage a ton of stuff that otherwise I'd
have help on stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (55:46):
So like that's that's the way I feel like I've
grown a lot.

Speaker 7 (55:49):
And then also like still not great at it, but
like I knew what I signed up for. Not good
on mic 'or in front of cameras. I do not
like it look at you now, yeah doing the show,
but even even some moments still I'm like, dude, like
I want to come here out like I want to
do graphics and the and but like being forced onto

(56:09):
camera I think has been a good thing just overall
for like my personal development, So like that, I think
that's a big one because I think, like for sitting here,
like even this time last year, when I'm still ten
months in, like I still don't think I'd be.

Speaker 3 (56:24):
This comfortable on camera.

Speaker 7 (56:25):
So like, I think I've definitely grown that way a lot.
And then a lot of the same things Mitch said
as well, just like confidence and conversation and stuff like that,
and I feel like that just comes with like everything else,
Like it kind of just builds on everything.

Speaker 4 (56:38):
So yeah, I mean the being on camera and like
knowing that there's gonna be you know, conflict arguments. I know,
you could be the butt of the joke, you could
give a joke.

Speaker 7 (56:52):
That's another thing too, is like all my friends my family,
like they know that I don't, like they know that's
not in my personality. So I know they're watching, especially
especially like last year my first few appearances on whatever,
like vlog whatever. I'm like like, I know they're gonna
go watch it. And then i get like they're like, oh,
we saw you on the thing.

Speaker 4 (57:09):
I'm like, yeah, that's an adjustment, dude. It is real
because when we first started, like you would like barely
be on like they brought Jack on episodes to like
talk about shit or like read ads or whatever.

Speaker 2 (57:23):
You sound like you're on drugs, so why don't you
read these ads for us? And they wanted me to
be stoner Jack. And then yeah, the me and Gartin
didn't have like roles until probably at least a year
and a half into working, Like, I didn't do social
related roles until probably two years in, and I started
kind of like shadowing a guy. And then I've I've

(57:44):
felt like I've always had like a good grip on
the Internet and like knowing like what plays, and like
I've had Twitter for a long time, so I think
it just worked out. But yeah, it's wild, how like
the progression of just like the first year and a half,
I'm like, what what did we do? I just take
photos and videos and like that was it and like
you know edits and yeah, because I mean you chowed

(58:07):
for just interviews because Will and Taylor are playing in
the NFL. Yeah, it wasn't like you're going to the
shop every day. Very strange.

Speaker 4 (58:15):
It's like reps. Honestly, it's all just growth within the reps.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
Here way better now.

Speaker 5 (58:20):
Yeah, Yeah, I think I mean everybody has said a
lot of the things. I guess mine would be along
the lines of the evidence thing. I think I've always been.
I'm a naturally optimistic person. It's just that's sort of
just in my core. So I've always thought big. I've
always thought that I could live like a more fun

(58:40):
life or you know, than what they kind of tell
you you can live, and so this made that seem
very more real. But I would also say, even though
I was a big dreamer, it's given some more direction
to my dreams or like, this is a dream job.
But obviously I'm there's a lot of other things I
hope I can accomplish. And when I see people accomplishing

(59:00):
those things, whether it's Will and Taylor accomplishing it, you
guys accomplishing it. Guess do we have on accomplishing the
things that they're going after, it inspires me and it
gives me more confidence to go out after those things.
And so I guess I would say an increase in
confidence and going after my dreams like bigger than this job.

(59:24):
For sure.

Speaker 4 (59:25):
It is like a validating thing when you like work
somewhere like this, and you know, it's not the traditional
thing that all of our friends do, because I'm sure
we can all relate where you like get around a
certain group of friends and they're all like talking about
like accounting shit or finance stuff. I'm never asking them
questions about work. And sometimes I'll catch myself or I'm like, damn,

(59:48):
I probably should ask more, like how's work going, blah
blah blah. But most of the time the question is
directed to you. But it's because we get to do
something so cool. Yeah that it does. There is like
a sense of like reassurance of like you're saying, this
is really cool. We're pretty good at it. Now what
else can we do? Like what's the next level? Yeah,

(01:00:09):
trying on my accounting prints?

Speaker 1 (01:00:12):
You have my like my friends, some of my friends
are like they get mad at me for how jealous
they are of like what we get to do. And
it's like it is cool in a sense, but it's
also no, it's not fat. It's Dietrich because he's he's
in pietary he just graduated pedietary school. Yeah, but he's like, Dietrick,

(01:00:35):
I'm about to be rich, yeah for real. And like
he's he's like, what are you guys doing for work today?
I'm like, like we're just streaming due. He's like he's
obviously happy for me, but it's also like, fuck you, dude,
I'm trying to I'm out here.

Speaker 4 (01:00:52):
How many years of school?

Speaker 6 (01:00:53):
He just graduated last or this May and he's been
in Pietary school since we graduated.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
Very impressive, so.

Speaker 1 (01:01:02):
Shout out finishing it, but also like, you chose this
profession to go down, so you can't bitch and moan
about it.

Speaker 6 (01:01:09):
Yeah, own it?

Speaker 5 (01:01:10):
Oh yeah, yeah, you'll be the best at it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:12):
Yeah what no?

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
Yeah, Like some of my friends over the years, I
remember specific insinse where they were like, so, like what
do you guys just doing? Works? Like funk around all
day and like this was like not that long ago,
and like if someonere to ask you guys that it
would bug you because that is what the vibe like,
it's the vibe that we give off, Like from the content.
It's like, oh, we work at like, you know, a
low grade fantasy factory. Yeah, but like in reality, like

(01:01:38):
Monday through Friday, it's a it's a grind factory here
and there are twelve guys over there that are all
working on three four different shows apiece constantly just making
it work and again, awesome job. There's no complaints. But
it's not always just like throwing the football here, there's
some football throw.

Speaker 6 (01:01:55):
There's definitely some fucking round happening. But we're getting me.

Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
With programming out every day and yeah twice on two days.

Speaker 6 (01:02:02):
Yeah, there's at least.

Speaker 1 (01:02:03):
Three or four pieces of content content going out a day,
and like some people have to make that so the show.

Speaker 4 (01:02:10):
Shout at us and everybody for watching it.

Speaker 5 (01:02:14):
That's the best part I ever to take you for
watching this.

Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
I was just we signed out. I was about to say,
I gotta take a personal time out because Jared needs me.

Speaker 2 (01:02:22):
Like yeah, this.

Speaker 3 (01:02:24):
Episode twenty three Jordan Jordan episode.

Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
This was.

Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
The Michael Jordan episode of Inside the Bus. Thank you
for tuning in.

Speaker 1 (01:02:34):
Shout out Striped Official, striped Official, striped up Official, striped
Up Official.

Speaker 7 (01:02:39):
If y'all have like any questions, please like this was
I think one of the like more fun episodes.

Speaker 3 (01:02:44):
Answering those like it was a cool episode for sure.

Speaker 7 (01:02:47):
It's fun to like just shoot off stuff in conversation
like that because I feel like we all relate to
it a lot, Like we're not saying just obscure things
that no one's like, yeah, you know so more questions
for episode twenty four.

Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
Please drop comments.

Speaker 7 (01:03:00):
Episode Kobe oll Kobe episode and we will see on
the Kobe episode and me.

Speaker 5 (01:03:05):
Coop and G are going to to Columbia first top Caroline. Yeah,
this weekend, we got a link for some footage.

Speaker 4 (01:03:10):
We got a link. And thanks for watching the Vogue.
I saw a lot of the comments they want to
see eighteen holes of G. So we'll figure out how
to get that done. Peace.

Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
We'll see y'all next week.
