Hey, for real, I was so upset. None of you

was falling out. I just couldn't help. But look at it,
like when we filmed last week, you weren't like, hey,
grease that back, like, no stragglers.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
What do you put in that thing?
Speaker 2 (02:37):
It always I got like a Redkin leaving conditioner and
then I put a little, a little, a little jail
on top so that way I don't get the flyways.
If I'm gonna be on camera.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
I was again you talk and when I look at you,
it's just Clay Matthews highlights going through my head, right,
So it's hard to stay focused.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
I'm not gonna cap your fuehead.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Bro Hey, I mean I yeah, that was it? That
wasn't it?
Speaker 3 (03:07):
A lot of changes.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Will Compton has no hair on his face except for
his eyebrows, and Delaney in the last seven days has
established a lisp.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Is that something that you can take out?
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Yeah? Yeah, I can take it out.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
You don't want to take it out for the show? No,
because you did? The lisp is crazy.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
I know, I like it. They gonna love it.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
They don't love it, but I'm gonna keep it.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
One do you fucking ugly? Bro?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I just can't stop looking at you.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
It's your forehead, It's like it Doesne came down a
little bit.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
That's fine, that's a that's a very like that's a
cold take. Think everybody loves it. Everybody I heard everybody
loves it. Josh Pate loved its.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
Doesn't of course? Yeah, he's bald.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
It doesn't look that bad.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
No, I mean he ugly, but yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Say Cincinnati, Hey, well, so what are we doing?
Speaker 2 (04:04):
We are we growing it back out now? Or is it?
Does we have to shave it as part?
Speaker 6 (04:09):
This?
Speaker 5 (04:09):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (04:09):
This?
Speaker 2 (04:10):
So? What do you feel like when you get to
that awkward stage? What are you going to do?
Speaker 5 (04:13):
I don't know. If you know he was undefeated on
his picks. He needs to keep it for the rest
of the year.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
Yeah, the when I go to bed at night, yeah yeah,
yeah yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Last week on the show, Clay you brought like a
ninety pound wheel of cheese, like, this is it. I'm done.
I'm no longer the guy anymore. But then you sent
a picture yeah yesterday if you had a wig shop, yeah,
and said no gifts this week. So what are you?
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Sad? Things? You had a Saddam.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
Stopped Hey, So I stopped by. This was gonna be great,
This was gonna be great content. I'm all about it.
I stopped by a wig shop and it was close.
It was my appointment. Only I was so disappointed though.
I was going to get you the claymaker wig. I
was going to get you something like Rick James, and
I was gonna, you know, get you on a fly. Yeah,
we can try again next week, but I was disappointed
that I didn't come through.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
I would love to see you next week. All right,
is ready to go? Delady? You want to talk about
how good the Dallas Cowboys defenses before we started?
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Go ahead, but the Bears? Are you back on the
Bears man wagon? No? Okay, alright, no, you're off now.
Speaker 7 (05:18):
No, I'm saying I'm not messing with Kayla.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
You're not doing what with him?
Speaker 3 (05:24):
He's not messing with Kayla.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Hey, people feared Mike Tyson with that list.
Speaker 7 (05:31):
Yeah, mines is made because of the grill. Don't get
it twisted. You just gotta pick it out because it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Where's the girl brought to his attention?
Speaker 3 (05:49):
And he won't be able to do without just.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Everywhere everywhere.
Speaker 5 (05:56):
I'm like, when you first, when you first got your teeth,
did you have a problem with the list a little bit?
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Uh No, it just felt weird that I teeth in
my mouth.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Man, not a lot of wins getting through anymore.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Hey, can you play with those in the game? Because
I see some? Oh yeah I do. I did, Like
they don't they don't come off. You can wear you
wear a mouthpiece over.
Speaker 7 (06:22):
I still wear a mouthpiece too well at the bottom.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Yeah, I used to rock those in the game.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Did you play better when you were?
Speaker 4 (06:33):
I think? I mean same ship?
Speaker 3 (06:36):
He swagged that from head to tell him if he
has a bad game, he don't know what it is.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
I didn't get the ball. If I had a bad game.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
That's true. When did you not get the ball? Besides
the career?
Speaker 4 (06:45):
A few games Washington?
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Because you was locked down, you got me? He was like,
what was a game where you were, like, you made
it known that you were pissed off that you didn't
get the ball. Whether you said something during the game.
Speaker 7 (06:59):
Or Kansas City Kans City game, I think you can
which one it was.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
It was it It was the past where Marcus threw
the past to itself.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
I was hot in the playoff game.
Speaker 7 (07:12):
Yeah, I went through my helmet and yeah, I'm sure
it's a clip because I saw the claip through the
helmet and damn near hit Corey Davis.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
I was who are the other receivers on the team
at the time. It was before a brow.
Speaker 5 (07:23):
Corey Davis his rookie year. He was drafted with fifth overall,
fifth overall, he drafted fifth overall. Other than that, Derek
Derek wasn't Derek yet. Derek was like becoming Derek.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Was that Derek's rookie year.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
No tweets back thirteen or eighteen wasn't eighteen?
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Eighteen was when I was there. So this was before.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
Yeah, yeah, this was before because Dylanny was the only option.
Because up until that point, we we end up coming
to get back against Kansas City when they played the
Patriots and Corey Davis had his first touchdown of the year.
Speaker 4 (07:55):
Yeah, first we had Russia Matthews, that's your boy, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Sean Matthews. Matthews the left the mid season. Yeah, because
there was they were, Yeah, they were. They were the
boom box boys. Each had a boom box everywhere they.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
Went, just absolutely battling for volume.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
I couldn't hear all times.
Speaker 7 (08:16):
Well, at one point he was. He was the second
leading receiver and that's really all we had. So you know,
you gotta you gotta jail with the guy who's actually
making plays.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
How many targets did you get per game average?
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Maybe ten?
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Damn really great?
Speaker 5 (08:32):
Wow, he really was at times.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Damn like handoffs too.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Once you left the NFC, I'm just like, ah and
then all that's why when I checked the stats check,
it like forty nine ers Delaney four hundred yards receiving Tennessee.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
He was the man bro we be in our breakdowns defensively,
Like when we played the Tennessee game. We always talked
about but it'd be like Delaney was shuggled, Like, hey,
you probably don't hear a whole lot about this guy
just because they're not in the media market. This is
one of the best tight ends in the league.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Thread he's he's the go to guy for everything.
Speaker 7 (09:08):
No, that's really how I went, you know what I mean.
Every time I told it, they'd be like, yo, But
no one knows because y'all games ain't really.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
No one watches back out game.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
Jack McPherson, Yeah, yeah, Jacks, the one that watched.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Nobody knows they like Tennessee you played for bro.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
When when I got here, like in OTAs and training himself,
like there'd be just like a handful of people on
the sidelines, just a handful.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Of reporters, just handful.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
It's like, I'm sure in Green Bay it's crazy, and
Washington it was crazy. There's people everywhere, and it's just
like you come here. I remember a Rack Poke because
he was in Washington with me for a couple of years.
He's like, hey, come, ain't nobody covering the Tennessee Tits.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
They didn't, They did not. I mean it's starting on.
It started growing, It started growing a little bit.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
You would say, yeah, I mean it started growing a
little bit. But when I hear like Cop talking about Washington, yeah,
and these other guys, the guys would come in a
lot and be like, no one talks about y'all at all.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
It's grown a lot. Yeah, the first time, it was
kind of like it was kind of like shocking start.
You almost felt like at ease because you felt like
there was not like there wasn't a whole lot of
pressure surrounding these.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
You got to think about it.
Speaker 7 (10:12):
But when you sign your deal, that's when they start
doing that press room. Like when you walk on and
they had that all the it was like it start
growing because I remember at first you walk, I'll be
like three reporters, Like am I man at a podium.
Speaker 5 (10:25):
Right right from the locker room.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
It was just talking to me.
Speaker 7 (10:30):
Now you know, you go out there, it was like
ten fifteen reporters out there. You go to a podium,
I mean you talk. But when when I first got there,
it'd be like three four reporters and you stand at
a podium like you got a question, you.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
Got a question, you got quote done? You know what
I mean.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
But now it's like it's like in Washington people write
stuff and say say it was like negative news. You
almost not know where the leak or anything is. With Tennessee,
it's like, Okay, who's telling.
Speaker 7 (10:54):
Paul Carsen Paul, Paul, Yeah, we already knew Paul. Paul
was the bad guy for the title.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
Yeah, Paul loved the of the villain at all times.
While we're on the TENSEI Titans. Since they're not getting
any love, what do you think they should do with
their head coach.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Man. That's a tough one.
Speaker 7 (11:10):
Yeah, I mean it's tough for me because I'm around
the Titans a lot so.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
And I'm in his face a lot. So I'm gonna
pass that one to you.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Listen, I'll be honest, I don't it would be more so.
Jack has been very vocal about it. It's like, I
hope they I hope they go on the road these
next three games, just get out in Nashville kind of reset.
It does order the national pols, the local polls, everything
else feels like like time's ticking if he doesn't do
something herself.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
And was that true that I read that he gave
up a He.
Speaker 7 (11:46):
Did, he stepped down from play calling past it, and
then we made the trade, which I'm not sure about
that trade.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (11:56):
You know what, sometimes you can't speak about what's going
on in the locker room because you're not in the
locker room. You don't know if that player was like
acting out, being disrespectful towards the coaches, saying, you know,
we've tried you never know what they made that trade?
Speaker 5 (12:11):
Or wasn't you did that all the time and you
were run forever?
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Yeah, but I mean I was balling though.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
It's a difference.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
You like you When you balling, they ain't gonna say shit.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
But I wasn't walking in the locker room, be like,
you're trash. You're trashed the guys, be like your ass,
like I don't know why you on this team, and
be like Ladia in October for the rest of the year.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
Get him out of here. Like I mean, like I said,
you pockets.
Speaker 7 (12:36):
Anytime I call you pockets, it's you taking money out
of somebody else's pockets by us keeping you on this team.
We could have asked somebody else who want to play,
who can make a play, But instead, for some reason,
they like you. I don't know why. Why do they
love this kid? I don't see it, you know what
I mean? Then I'm right all the time they cut them,
you know what I mean. I'm like, Damn, I knew
(12:58):
I was right.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
Yeah, you speak speaking of pockets? Whose pockets? Between the
Vikings are out the Steelers. Vikings are favorite minus two
and a half. Total points in the game is forty
and a half. Which one is pockets.
Speaker 7 (13:10):
I'm gonna pockets. I'm gonna say the Steelers are pockets
right now.
Speaker 5 (13:15):
Okay, right, I'm going Vikings, cause you're gonna take the Vikings.
Speaker 7 (13:19):
I'm gonna take the Vikings. You gotta look, they look
good against the Bengals. Don't get me wrong. Yes, the
Bengals didn't have their starting quarterback. They was out there
with Jake.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Browning browing Browning, Browning, he just, oh my god, what
three interceptions? He didn't look good.
Speaker 7 (13:34):
So you really can't speak off and say, oh, Carson
went looked a good against the Bengals, because the Bengals
just was assd Right, But you got Jordan Davidson is
coming back, Harrison Smith, Harrison Smith is coming back.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
I just feel like.
Speaker 7 (13:54):
Right now, the Vikings they're gonna be a tough team
right now, just in these couple of weeks, feel like
they on a high horse. They getting they got things going.
They threw through for some good some amount of yards.
Defense played great. This should be a no brainer. And
they playing in Dublin so it's home field for is
for both teams.
Speaker 5 (14:13):
So home field or wayfield you are looking, I'm just
looking at.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Neutral science, neutral field.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
It's a neutral.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Fielding teams pretty much a home game.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Fifty No, it's gonna be fifty fifth.
Speaker 7 (14:27):
You're gonna have everybody wearing all different types of jersey.
They don't know who the fuck on the field. They
just cheering whatever whatever. You know, a field goal, Yeah,
whenever it's the field goal, they cheer. That's this was
about that our pint. Yeah you've been out there before. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
You have, Yes, I have. We tied against the Bengals. Okay,
tent tackles, pick look it up.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
Yes, bro hold on, you played overseas. Yes, I thought
in twenty eighteen you had the little hammy, you a
little soft tissue that was with Tennessee. I know I've
never done it. I remember you being like, I've never
played overseas. I'm actually happy I'm not going.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah, because I had played overseas, and I'm like, I'm
kind of pumped on. You know, I don't have to
go to this game. But the injury, injury, it is.
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Especially especially when you travel on Thursday and Thursday.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
That's so, that's what that was the way. I didn't
go sixteen, No, it was eighteen.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
That's right, because yeah, because when you travel on Thursdays,
it's like you know, you practice on Thursdays.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Then you go and hit the plane. You're expected that's
supposed to be your.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Rest from when you land it's it's Friday morning, and
then you're going, yeah, you don't rest. Guys are trying
to find Ambien is trying to find some ways to sleep.
Then you get off the plane. You're right there early
Friday morning like a zombie like. Food kind of sucks
over there.
Speaker 7 (15:47):
Sandwiches, Hey, no offense like in London, No offense London.
But the food that Canadian bacon or whatever. I'm like,
what is this? You guys want to go get some fishing.
I would do McDonald's every morning.
Speaker 5 (16:02):
When I did that Netflix show, the production company was
based out of the UK, and they were trying to
argue with me about them having good food. But you
guys don't even have salt and you don't even season
your shit over there's terrible. There, no disrespect all the
friends of the UK. I do like the Vikings as well.
Carson Wentz playing I think is actually beneficial for the
Vikings right now. Anytime you have a quarterback that is
(16:22):
a first round pick ends up having turmoil in his career,
sent him to the school of Kevin O'Connell. He'll get
him fixed up right. The defense having as much takeaway
as they had, and then I like, I picked the
Steelers to with the AFSC North. They're two in one,
but they haven't rushed for more than seventy five yards
in a game. They all grilled in the red zone.
They're like, what's this that here? They're eighty seven point
five percent in the red zone scoring a touchdout, which
(16:43):
is awesome.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
That's good.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
I don't see them getting in the red zone a
lot in this game. I like the Vikings. I like
the Vikings with the points as well.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
I got Vikings in the points as well. You saw
Wan says. We talked about better equipped to run this offense,
more competent and more comfortable than JJ McCarthy, and it
showed they did a great job making concerted effort shutting
down the run. After that Falcons game in Week two
forced Jake Browning into you know those passing situations. Flores
On defense force two interceptions, that is, and then the
(17:11):
Bengals everything went wrong for them, but it also was
a big getting dearrisol Back at left tackle, their left guard,
their rookie left guard has been playing extremely well and
I think he just had surgery though, so he might
be out. They handed the ball off to Jordan Mason
a ton let him do his thing. There's but there's
now film on Wentz. So while I think the result
will be the same with the Vikings coming out on top,
I think it'll be a closer game. But you know,
(17:33):
Steelers defense twenty eighth in total defense, twenty seventh against
the run. I mean, I love a Rod he can
make all the throws he needs to, but they don't
have a run game Pittsburgh. That is, their old line
can't protect all that great. Their defense is getting old,
is not playing up to that Pittsburgh standard. I got
Vikings with minus two and a half.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
Yeah, I just don't see.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
I just I don't see how Pittsburgh wins offensive. You
already ratt on off all the stuff defensively for the Steelers,
like bottom five in every category across the league. Vikings
can run the ball well, O'Connell coach Phillips still be
creative and how they can attack the defense with Carson
Wentz getting a second start. I just I don't see
where Pittsburgh finds success when you watch the games. It's
(18:19):
like I'm ridling through their offensive plays and the only
time they kind of find anything is when they're throwing
perimeter screens. DK Metcalf really isn't getting much separation anywhere
unless you just throwing the ball on the outside quick,
or if you're in the red zone and you just
throw it up. You did have a touchdown last week again,
but it's in the red zone you're throwing it up.
But as far as him like getting separation, I don't know.
Maybe you can speak to this more because I have
(18:40):
no clue what I'm talking about when it comes to
wide receiver. But it's like even with Aj Brown, if
he might have not have the most explosive speed coming
up the line of scrimmage, but he does a really
good job when he's getting pressed on finding some separation.
I mean, dudes are kind of shutting down Dk Metcalf.
It's not like he's getting some acceleration with his speed
unless he gets into his tense stride down field. Man,
(19:00):
A Rodgers doesn't have the time to make those plays.
They don't run the ball well. They have to do
a lot of perimeter screens just to get stuff going
in quick game. And again, nobody's really open or creating
separational offensively, like I like the Vikings here, it's two
and a half points.
Speaker 3 (19:14):
Vikings are favored by two and a half. And Kevin O'Connell,
just to just this is just a stat for London. Now,
Kevin O'Connell internationally is four and oh, Kevin O'Connell internationally
is four and oh.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
It's wide receiver too. For Pittsburgh, the defense is I'm saying,
like Pickens and don't do that. I mean, be regretting
that that trade.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Oh, definitely Higgins right now, Higgens is the vibe you
felt when you know I bought into it.
Speaker 5 (19:43):
I loved buying into it.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Aaron Rodgers four thousand yards in the year DK metcalf
coming over from the Seattle Seahawks.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
But it's just it's not that.
Speaker 5 (19:50):
Man, everything you pointed to about Aaron Rodgers four thousand
yards I was. I was on that train with you,
and it felt so good. I think I kept hearing
about a Rod from other people because I don't really
know the quarterback position. Someone of what you're talking about
wide receivers is he is looking down at the rush
a lot more than looking downfield, because when you get
to that age at forty two years old, like you're
more cautious about getting injured. And so I don't know
(20:12):
what that means, but everyone's like, when that starts to happen,
that's the end of the quarterback. That's like when the quarterback,
you like, hey, he's gonna start to fall off a
little bit, which sucks to hear, but it's like he doesn't.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
He looks good though, he can make everything, but everything
is driven through him. And if you can't protect him
and you don't have a run game and you can't
sustain drives, yeah, like you're not going to go very far.
Speaker 6 (20:34):
On that.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
All twenty two bros. You just watch their offensive rhythm.
You just click on the offensive place and just watch it.
It's like, even if Aaron does that at times, it's
not like it's not like it's standing out.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
He's just getting nervous in the pocket.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
It's wide receivers aren't getting a whole lot of separation
to where it's just eventually the pocket's collapsing on him,
to where all you're having to do is these perimeter screens. Uh,
some play action, but it's just I just don't know
how they move the ball and win against an aggressive
Vikings defense.
Speaker 5 (21:00):
It's difficult to run the play action when you have
it rush for over seventy five years.
Speaker 4 (21:03):
And you know that's what Art like to do.
Speaker 5 (21:05):
That's how he needs to marry to run the pass.
He needs to have the pass just like the run,
and that's how you get guys to bite.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
But it must feel like DK's just like a decoy
out there. It's like they're just trying to find ways
to get Jalen warn the ball.
Speaker 7 (21:17):
I mean John who had a couple of targets last week.
I mean, it's just it's tough when you are an
explosive receiver like that like he is, and you know
if you if you give him any kind of cushion,
he gonna outrun you. So just what press them? If
you can press them and get that timing off, knowing
that the old line ain't good enough to protect for
Aaron shit, that's throwing that timing off regardless it ain't
(21:38):
gonna matter if the timing is perfect. He moving around,
he's trying to look down the field. It's nothing he
can do about that.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
You know.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
I feel like too, it's like, and again, I wasn't
a receiver, but it feels like even DB's they're not
even getting up there to press him in the first yard.
They're they're like using the five yard window to wind
let him get off the line because they know he's
not getting off the line that fast, or getting hands
on him a little bit in that fourth five yard mark,
and then there's just no there's no separation.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
But also, if you know about Arthur's offense, we don't
throw deep a lot.
Speaker 7 (22:10):
Situation there you go, so they every team, if they like, okay,
third down, they may go deep first and second, let's
sit at the five yard mark. He may run and stop.
He may run a deep stop, he may run a
slam like they they you know, when you come in,
you kind of already know what route you're gonna get
on certain downs. So I feel like that's what we're seeing.
But I won't be surprised if Aaron started feeding Metcalf
(22:33):
a little bit more. You know how he gets he
kind of almost like Aja gonna get upset if he
doesn't get the ball, So I'm assuming they gonna start
trying to give him the ball a little bit more.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
Nicol Buldra has this idea, we love play for an Ultra.
It's all about those little friendly competitions when an Ultra
is on the line.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yes, Like if we're running an Oklahoma drill, that's where
I take you down and claim my ice cold Ultra.
Speaker 5 (22:55):
We've all seen me and Will Compton in Oklahoma drill.
You know, I don't even know that.
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Is my money.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Uh see, that's exactly my point. Doesn't matter if it's touchdowns,
who's ping pong cornhole?
Speaker 5 (23:05):
Whatever?
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Bragging rights taste better with an Ultra.
Speaker 5 (23:08):
Superior is worth playing for. Michelo Ultra Superior light Beer to.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Go over to Baltimore and Kansas City. Yes, Baltimore Kansas City.
Ravens are favored by two and a half. Chiefs are
underdogs at home. The over under on this game is
forty eight and a half.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
I'm so confused, But I'm so confused.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
After watching the Ravens, which I did pick the Lions.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
You did, you did?
Speaker 5 (23:30):
You did them a lot. John Moore and a lot
of question marks about him. After the Packers game in
Week one and they go they drop forty Now how
many they dropped this past week fifty something. But they
went crazy against the Ravens, who is you know, bottom
three in total yards yards per game, I mean the
passing rushing like they are bottom three and all the
major statistics on their deep inside the ball when they
(23:50):
have aliens Rokwan Smith, Kyle Hamilton and they're just getting
gutted right up there to multiple drives. The Detroit lines
had multiple drives of ninety five yards.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Who wasn't playing on Kyle Vanoy.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
And Buquet.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
Players down?
Speaker 5 (24:11):
Two players down, but they're dude, they're giving up a
ship little point. So then you look at the Chiefs
and it's like, you know, they beat the Giants as
their first win of the year, and it's like they
win twenty to nine whatever whatever the score was, like
they but they like still like can really move the
ball whole lot. It's like death by a thousand cuts
and it's like.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
Yeah, you a lot of field goals.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
Look who they're playing though, I mean, you know Chargers
who look like world beaters right now. Three and oh
all divisional wins. Who are they playing forgetting Eagles who
you know, coming off a super Bowl and not Giants.
And now we go with right now yeah, yeah, I
mean like bulting two teams to three teams ship two
teams that are in the top five in the league
(24:55):
as far as like perceived best teams in the NFL.
So I think at this point they just need to
keep their head above water. You know, hope hopefully uh
or shee Rice will be back soon. Worthy, You'll get health,
more Simmons, will get more reps because they're gonna be
I know, they're still gonna be I actually got Baltimore
on this, So this is gonna be tough. It's gonna
be the first time I know.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
I'm just saying. I'm gonna say the Chiefs I been
like they played. They put the Chargers, they played. They
the Ravens also played to the offensess got.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
You're absolutely right, but that's why I wanted. These quarterbacks
will be one and three for the first time for
the Bills and the Ravens, though, just switching over, the
Ravens were one and two last year when they started season,
so this is less about the Ravens mean, when I
watched them offensively, they're so explosive. They scored forty forty
one thirty points. And even this last game, you know
they had that goal to go four downs, they turn
it over on downs. There's some missed opportunity to score
(25:45):
right there. Obviously, Derek Henry and his last three fumbles
have I hate to play this game, but you know
they're one and two. They very easily could be three
and oh defense, we talked about that. Yeah they're giving
up points, but I think that was more testament to
how good Detroit looked. Then it was hey, what's going
on with Baltimore? So I still I picked Baltimore to
(26:07):
be in the Super Bowl. Pick Lamar to a MVP. Obviously,
you know they're climbing up a hill right here, but
I got them beating the Chiefs. I think the Chiefs
just need to weather the storm, like they're playing these
killers right now, and you know, they just got to
hope they start clicking, getting in the rhythm, putting it
together that they've done for the last however many years,
and just win the games they need to win and
squeak in in that wild card.
Speaker 5 (26:27):
You know, when the Chargers just watching Lamar when Detroit
was spying him. There's like three or four open field
tackles where Lamar would do Lamar things. He'd make one
guy miss and there's twenty yards for him to have
and the Detroit linebackers, yeah, like we're able to get
him on the ground, no problem. They're good, bro, they
are good. They're flying all over the place. But Chiefs
(26:48):
defense is fantastic. They're the ones that aren't keep him
in the games at all time. So Chiefs don't have
weapons on offense. To me, this is an undergame. This
is under all the way. It's forty eight and a
half points. But I will go for the sake of
this show, I will go to the Ravens is watching.
They have more opportunity to be explosive. Changed the game
that way. No one in the world isn't hell more
than Derrick Henry. Yeah, mentally physically like he is. He
(27:12):
is truly in hell. I think he had like six
hundred carries last year and had three uh three funnels
on those. He's had forty four carries this year. He's
had three fumbals. Like he is. No one's beating him,
No one's beating him up more than himself. They gotta
get him going. It's gonna be a tough defense to
get him going. But I think at the end of
the day, the Ravens have more weapons, they are better personnel,
and they're gonna win this game.
Speaker 7 (27:33):
I don't know if y'all noticed this, but at first that,
like you said, that goal line, when they got down
there and they got stopped, Derrick Henry was pissed when
that last play was for Lamar to keep it.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
He shook his head.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
As soon as he got the play, he liked, well,
didn't they give it to Derek Henry Three plays in
a row at the goal line right there?
Speaker 7 (27:49):
Every time he was stopped got hitting the backfield, I mean,
because they was trying to give him like pitches to
the side, Like I'm just.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Run powerward downhill?
Speaker 7 (27:58):
Yeah, like what just run power So like with that
being said, though, they need to get the receivers involved.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
Man.
Speaker 7 (28:04):
They gotta get Flowers involved. They gotta get Hopkins more catches. Man,
he's playing, well, just get them out there. Throw them
the ball like we used to give them jump ball slants.
Just let this man make plays. He's making the plays.
We gotta feed those dudes, and then likely is coming
back even though they'll give me rong. Andrews had a
great catch in that game where he called the first down.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
That was awesome.
Speaker 7 (28:27):
But I think likely coming back that gives them another
dynamic of having that.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
So I don't know the Chiefs. I don't know what
the Chiefs are right now. You know, they trying to figure.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
He's a question if the Chiefs lose this game or
they're dead.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
No, I don't think they're dead.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
I just think expectation needs to be this this this
is gonna.
Speaker 5 (28:47):
Become like a wild card team.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
Now, like as far as dynasty and everything else, It's like,
I don't even think that should be the expectation. If
I'm looking at both the Chiefs and the Ravens, like
which team watching both these teams watching their pone because
I agree they've played great they played great teams, But
it's more like the Eagles and Chargers are teams. It's
like understanding how to win. I don't think they've tapped
into what their potential can be offensively to Whereas the
(29:11):
Ravens have played the Lions and uh in the Buffalo Bills,
so where those are absolute killers on the office side.
The Lions had that down week in Week one, but
now they the Governor's off like they look like the Lions.
Speaker 3 (29:22):
They look like the Lions last year.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
I feel like the Ravens have just played against better
opponents to where it's like, yeah, the defense is kind
of questionable right now, to where this is like a
gbot for them to kind of get rolling. If there's
a team more likely, like looking at the product go
one and three out of the Ravens and the Chiefs,
I think it's more so the Chiefs. I'm taking the
Ravens this game. And just a fun little stat Chiefs
Owen three is home underdogs. Owen three is home underdogs.
Speaker 5 (29:48):
Big stat guy today, you just gotta put.
Speaker 3 (29:50):
Them out there and they look good. Two games.
Speaker 5 (29:57):
It's kind of hard.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
It's kind of hard not to just hard again, It's
like Chiefs have been struggling to move the ball and
like just scoring not necessarily like move the ball as much,
but they have to get creative with quick, quick game
and everything else likely coming back. I do think that
adds a good dynamic for Baltimore defense. They got the leadership,
they got the guys on that side to where they understand.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
They understand what's going on right now, they have to
get it right.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
Yeah, and Harball is very critical and in this postgame
press conference is being like, yeah, our run defense is awful.
We have to do a better job tackling. We have
to do a better job filling gaps. And him being
there for as long as you have, having the culture
that he has, I can see them turning that around.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
A big one. Yeah, humphree.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
The Chiefs a strong run team.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Yeah, Hamilton on Smith, like they got that that side
of the ball, they're gonna get going.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
It's gonna be a good Battleoly coming back that when
when's that elite pass rush coming back?
Speaker 4 (30:41):
Are supposed to be this week? I think he may
come back.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
We watch they'll get the win now because he's back.
Speaker 5 (30:47):
Maybe have to protect. I mean, they give up seven
sacks against the Lions, so they have to be able
to protect what they shots down. Feel like you're talking
about like they have to hold up.
Speaker 7 (30:57):
But you know those sacks were not like Rush. They
were like Lamar doing Lamar.
Speaker 5 (31:02):
Shape by the by the sword your Lamar. You're like,
how many times has you know somebody gotten beat quick?
He makes that guy missed it's you know, eighty eight.
Speaker 4 (31:10):
The game down the field, right, Definitely, he's.
Speaker 5 (31:13):
Gonna run around a little bit like you got to
as office time.
Speaker 3 (31:15):
You look at him.
Speaker 5 (31:15):
He's been doing this week.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
Do we know he's gonna do this?
Speaker 5 (31:17):
Yeah, Block, We're we're all going to go three for
three on this Oh maybe not this game.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
Packers of Dallas, Green Bay of Dallas.
Speaker 5 (31:25):
Yeah, I was. I was looking at Packers in Dallas.
I think we're all Yeah, I think this is the
worst possible situation for the count.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
This is that is not good because this feels like
a no brainer.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
Yeah, Ceee Lamb out.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
But Packers favored on the road six and a half points,
the over under on this game forty seven and a half.
Speaker 4 (31:42):
I mean, look, give me over.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Well, you ain't touching the game, no, I said, you know,
I touch it. Yeah, I got packed.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
You said give me the over?
Speaker 2 (31:48):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
But I was saying, like, this is this is no brainer.
He's out.
Speaker 5 (31:52):
Ceee Lamb's hurt. What's that week? George Piggins your number one?
Speaker 4 (31:58):
Now, George pig run game is not that great at all.
Speaker 5 (32:02):
What your defense is.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
Horrible is the worst horrible Already on the hot seat,
after week three, he should be, he should be. It
looks it's not like you don't you have like inferior
guys out there. It just looks like guys are becoming
uncovered or wide open, like what's going on but your.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
Film and it is it's inferior guys with zero creativity
and just nobody making any type of play.
Speaker 7 (32:29):
I mean, the owner jinks them. He said the defense
is better off without that person. Like now you're starting
to see that was a fucking lie.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Michael Parson's coming to Dallas.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
Yeah, oh, he's about to go ere.
Speaker 5 (32:40):
Shaun Gary is already gout four and a half sacks
in the league, Like.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
It's Michael Parson's coming to Dallas is about to be cool.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
We're not even talking about the Packers lost. I mean,
how do we feel about that?
Speaker 4 (32:50):
That to me.
Speaker 5 (32:52):
That you wipe yours right, like, no one's going seventeen
to no, No, I'm going to drop one some bullshit.
Josh pay on our Call show had a great coming
about like it's better to lose early so you kind
of cant course break to figure it out. It's like, yeah,
you get that one out of the way, so now
when you go into a game that you should win
later in the year. It's like, hey, remember this, remember
the Browns, Like we should not have handled ourselves like that.
(33:13):
Michael Parson said the best, he goes, Yeah, sometimes you
should the bed.
Speaker 4 (33:16):
I didn't think the.
Speaker 7 (33:19):
Packers was going to play like the Browns though, Let's
just be honest, like they were slow.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
I'm like, what this and you know too though, but
like as a staff, what a game to come in
after in team meetings and everything else, just to be
like you are not who you think you are. Oh
yeah right, like losing everything like that, Like you can't
just show up.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
I don't care if the Browns whoever, you can't just
show up and win a football game on Sunday. And
that game proved it. Everybody's urgent now and again, Mike,
Michael Parson's coming back.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
You just yeah, you just wish that, you know, the
Packers could have won that maybe ten three, ten ten,
but they kicked that final field going like all right,
let's quit reading the press clippings. But like you said,
I don't put much into it. I thought it was
gonna be closer because they didn't have as much to
play for. As silly as that sounds, but you got
the twelve o'clock game. But how about that Browns defense,
Miles Garrett. I'm going to consider him early contention for
defensive Player of the Year. But even they're two. Uh,
(34:07):
there are two draft picks this year and Mason Graham
as Mason Graham and Schweisinger from walk On at UCLA like,
he's looking good out there. Their defense is like one
or two in every statistical category. So you go from
the best defense to arguably, if not the worst defense.
I think it's gonna be a seven on seven match.
I think Jordan Love goes off this game. Mike is
coming back, He's gonna get his I think it'll be
(34:27):
good for football him coming back and Packers getting a
big win in Dallas.
Speaker 5 (34:31):
Yeah, it'll be a seven seven, it'll be one side.
I heard a fun a whole lot in this game.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
I heard like a fun stat with the Mason Graham
because you sit there and it's like, oh, Miles Garrett,
his defense, everything else, and then I realized, like, oh yeah,
they did draft Mason Graham. Like you the usual pass
rush win rate for a defensive tackle is like nine percent.
Mason Graham is winning it like north of forty percent
and rushing the passers.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
Winning that rookie is here Miles though, Is he right
next to Miles?
Speaker 5 (35:00):
I'm sure they Yeah, sure they move either way.
Speaker 2 (35:03):
He's probably not coming from the inside.
Speaker 6 (35:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
So you got Miles coming off the edge and him
coming up the middle.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
Like that's a that's a that's watching.
Speaker 5 (35:11):
Yeahs. The Ravens a couple of weeks ago was the
more impressive thing I've ever seen in my life.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Did you see that? You see the clip from this
last week when he's chasing after Jordan Love and someone
like looks, he goes, I beat him so bad.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
He screams, run Jordan's roll. I've been beat so bad?
Speaker 3 (35:36):
Like Marcus, is that what happens?
Speaker 5 (35:40):
Like, say, what did you get? Beats? Let your boy know,
because there's been a couple like when you when you
miss and you like you're leaning, you turn around and
you just see the quarterback his back like this.
Speaker 8 (35:51):
You're just like, don't even know what the are you
doing standing in there like this is.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
You get them on film? Because you just see the
whip like yeah, it's like it's like a lean one.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
It's bad.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
Do they ever talk about like they can hear your
now there, they can hear you.
Speaker 5 (36:15):
There's one specific game I remember we played the Eagles
after they won the Super Bowl, and it was early
in the game and I was leaning on my hands
and Brendan Graham got me with a quick swipe and
it was like quick. It was a quick one, and
I remembered around be like Mark ass and he's like,
we'll get to the sideline and he's like, thank god
you said something because I heard you and I got
the BA.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
You see Jordan's start running.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
Yeah, yeah, they got to get out, like.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
This is gonna be bad.
Speaker 5 (36:44):
This is this is a perfect game for all, like
the casual watchers to see the Packers fall to the Browns,
being like Packers are terrible. This is this is a statement.
My Packers are going to go and drop a fifty
burger on the Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
They might cover the.
Speaker 3 (36:58):
Over on their own.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
I just hope they play well away. We know they
played great at home. So listen, let's see what happens.
Speaker 8 (37:07):
Six.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
Why you had to tell me that six and oh
at a T T stadium including Super Bowl BLV oh Man.
Speaker 4 (37:16):
May have to switch it up.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
No, no, no, he's saying that to good Stephanos, Packers
have won SAT You're gonna switch it up here.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
Every time I hear a good stat, I have to
go with the opposite.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
Switched up.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
I didn't say that, go help, I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (37:30):
I think about it, dude.
Speaker 4 (37:32):
No, I know they ain't got the kids.
Speaker 5 (37:33):
Is gonna get like fifty targets.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
Said, I can't.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
I can't rely on pickings.
Speaker 5 (37:40):
Okay, that's one whole bunch first round.
Speaker 4 (37:44):
I'm going I'm going Packers. I just said the stat just.
Speaker 3 (37:48):
Six and a half points though. All they got Dallas
gotta do.
Speaker 5 (37:50):
Is cover right back door cover. Man.
Speaker 4 (37:52):
I got you fucked me on the last one on
that with the fucking Viking.
Speaker 7 (37:56):
I mean with the Arizona the Arizona game, because I
was just like, I was like, I want to move
the line.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
No, just just take the plug, take the take.
Speaker 5 (38:05):
The line was one and a half.
Speaker 3 (38:10):
We're talking Niners, Cardinals.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
You got I got it right. I don't even know
what the fun was.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
You're trying to say, I messed you up at the
Falcons game, but we won that game. You messed me
up with one gwn his Falcons Vikings.
Speaker 5 (38:24):
Yeah, because that's when Clay gave a great stat for
the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
Oh yeah, Lamar didn't work out?
Speaker 5 (38:33):
What yeah? So you take You're taking the cow I'm taking.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
I'm sticking with the package.
Speaker 5 (38:40):
You're You're sitting bottom right now at five hundred.
Speaker 7 (38:42):
I'm sure this is what happened every time, and then
I'll be at the top when the show over with.
Speaker 4 (38:47):
That's just how it goes. What are You're at the bottom?
Speaker 5 (38:52):

Jets at Dolphins Dolphins. A favorite miss two and a
half total points in that game is forty four and
a half.
Speaker 4 (39:28):
Anybody got a coin? Yeah, for real?
Speaker 2 (39:31):
For real, I don't think it's a coin, sass.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
I mean, they play good against Buffalo. I know you're going.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
That's one of them. But I'm just saying, like, yeah,
Dolphins look good against Buffalo. They hung to game. And
if Buffalo's some of y'all Super Bowl picks MVP picks, like,
there has to be something. I know it's a divisional game.
They also, I know it was just a one possession
game versus New England, but I'm looking at the Jets
secondary versus like Miami speed aside from Sauce, who didn't
(39:58):
have the greatest game last week, like they look equally
as apt as Dallas, and so I see them getting
the ball out there, and I see one of these
Miami games where they put up points and there's just
speed guys Tyreek Hill Waddle streaking down the field.
Speaker 5 (40:12):
I love that thought process of hey, we got speed,
they can get downfield toua multiple times, try to throw
it deep and there's just auff. Yeah, but just go
in there and just stop then drop.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
But that's Buffalo's d we're talking about.
Speaker 5 (40:25):
I'm talking about the ball in the air in general,
I'm talking about two a tongue of I Lowa and
the ball in the air.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
So who you got, man?
Speaker 5 (40:32):
I have the Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Okay, I got a Dolphin.
Speaker 5 (40:35):
I mean, yeah, I just this is a game I
do not care about. I probably will not watch. You know,
Dolphins are gonna throw it every single play. But yeah,
give me the give me the speed on the perimeter
over the Jets. Dolphins can't lose too.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Dolphins lose. I mean, we can see, we can see
our first fire into the year. We can see some
pieces getting shipped out Tyreek Hill happening before.
Speaker 8 (41:00):
I think that.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
Yeah, but I think he's bought himself some.
Speaker 5 (41:02):
Time and like, yeah, because they played them competitively.
Speaker 2 (41:05):
They did, they did, I think. But here's the thing.
I think the first week kind of shook everybody's confidence
in McDaniel's playing the Colts because the Colts have historically
for the past several years been the Colts. Butts look
like world. Daniel Jones playing well, coach looked good. Yeah, yeah,
but the Jets hold up? Is t starting Taylor? He's starting?
(41:32):
Does it matter between him and Field? Wednesday? But Fields
did not play with.
Speaker 5 (41:41):
They're essentially the same player.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
Yeah, no, they're not. I think that was more of
a testament to Pittsburgh's defense in Week one because I
I I drank the kool aid to the Jets. Justin
Fields looks like that guy, and then was it Buffalo
Buffalo though, But it wasn't even Buffalo. He was like
ree for ten or something.
Speaker 3 (42:01):
Defensively against the Ravens, it's like, oh.
Speaker 5 (42:03):
Ship, there was nothing, but then it's against the pass
all last year their bottom bottom of the way, so
like how much better they were they were gonna get.
Speaker 7 (42:11):
I mean, I'm not gonna go obviously, I'm just saying
I just wanted to see Dolphins.
Speaker 4 (42:17):
I can't believe again.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
So if Justin Fields is playing, are you going Jets?
And if Tyron Taylor's playing.
Speaker 5 (42:22):
Are you going?
Speaker 2 (42:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (42:23):
So I'm gonna do that.
Speaker 7 (42:24):
If Justin Field's played, I'm gonna take the Jets, and
then f t Rod play, I'm gonna take the Dolphins.
Speaker 5 (42:29):
All right, there you go.
Speaker 3 (42:30):
We're all aligned here, We're aligned on the I mean,
it's just the game. Is just anybody take the Chiefs?
Speaker 4 (42:39):
Oh you're talking about? Every pick was the same?
Speaker 3 (42:46):
Every pick?
Speaker 5 (42:47):
God, I mean, buddy, Bengals Bengals up here, Bengals at
Broncos Broncos are minus seven and a half. Total points
is forty three and a half.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Broncos Broncos Broncos.
Speaker 4 (42:59):
I mean yeah, I mean what are we supposed to do?
Speaker 5 (43:09):
Wait?
Speaker 4 (43:10):
These are mondayball games?
Speaker 2 (43:12):
Do we have to do them?
Speaker 3 (43:13):
Clump?
Speaker 4 (43:13):
We gotta watch them? We got to watch them.
Speaker 5 (43:19):
I mean, Bron's defense looks nice.
Speaker 3 (43:22):
Like the Monday Night just changed the whole script.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
Now we have to watch I men talking about how
bad the Bengals are and just how screwed they are
that they don't because they don't have a run game
Jake Brown and can't bail them out through three picks
what two weeks ago into the Vikings whatever team that
they played, and then two picks last week? Like I said,
they haven't been able to run the ball. Burl's not
there to bail him out. What about the Broncos though,
(43:47):
Broncos bo Nicks. I'd rather just shift the conversation. We
all think Broncos is gonna win, but at one and two,
like two losses by one possession, by whatever it is
the last two games, like are they who they were?
Are they building upon last year's bo Nick's gonna take
that next step because that's what I noticed in the
game versus Chargers, Like there's still a big difference between
(44:08):
Justin Herbert and bow Knicks as far as leading those
teams to you know, hopefully a super Bowl or whatever
it may be, playoffs.
Speaker 5 (44:15):
That he's a big bon Knicks guy. Here's my concern
about Bonnicks. He sets the record when he comes out
of college from most starts in college. And so my
fear is, like, is this just bow Knicks at his
maximum potential right now? When you look at a guy
like Justin Herbert, it's like he's in the do any
walk our top five quarterback category. You know, he's thrown
for a billion yards, he's the fastest to however many yards.
And then Harbball comes in and you see like the
(44:37):
conference whatever it is with Harball and Herbert, it's like
or his quarterbacks. It's just like there's a level of joining,
a confidence that comes out and you're seeing a new
level of play from Herbert. And so for this game,
them being minus seven and a half, like that seven
and a half always scares me a little bit because
you know, anything can happen. But I think, you know
(44:57):
the defense they're getting, they're like fifty percent pressure rate.
You know, they have sixty three pressures on the year.
Speaker 3 (45:03):
Their defense is really good.
Speaker 5 (45:04):
I think bo Knicks is going to be able to
move and get around and get some yards on the
ground himself and be able to throw it around. So
I will I'm gonna take the Broncos.
Speaker 3 (45:12):
I just think he's got sixty pressures.
Speaker 4 (45:15):
Broncos I got him. I got him in.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
Ninety two total pressures on the year and seven Yeah,
which is the highest in the NFL.
Speaker 5 (45:22):
Number fifty point four pressure rate on the you got
your percentages.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
The second highest is the Packers, which we know what
their pass rush is, like they have eighty two on
the year. Like this is the Denver defense is for real.
Speaker 3 (45:34):
And I.
Speaker 1 (45:37):
Get the sentiment of the bow Knicks or if you're
I don't think it's much of a comparison with bow
Knicks and Justin Herbert to mean, I don't feel like
bow Knicks had.
Speaker 3 (45:44):
Like an all world like area of talent when he
was coming out. It was just like some some it factor.
Apparently he has that Sean Payton loves.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
And when I go back because I'm a massive fan
of Colin Coward too, and I was listening to him
talk about it. He kind of has the same opinion,
like are we seeing him like at his ceiling? Maybe
this is what we get with bow knicks. And when
I when I watch a tape of the Chargers game,
I see a lot of bad situations that the Broncos
got themselves in when you're wanting bow knicks to make plays,
(46:14):
like a lot of times they had ten penalties on
the game, and when you look at success with bow knicks,
like penalties killed them ten. I had ten in prinses.
But when you're looking these third down situations, he's in
third and twenty, third and twelve, third nineteen, third and eleven,
third and thirteen. He missed a big throw in two
minute at the end of the game where he just
overthrew them just a little bit. That was third and ten.
But when they're sitting there in third manageable, like they're
(46:36):
they're moving the ball. He missed the third and three inaccurately. Uh,
But they're in bad situations like when they're trying to
move the rock to where they get a good play
and it's coming back and they're getting penalties for it,
so as long as they clean it up discipline wise,
like that defense is for real.
Speaker 3 (46:50):
You watch Justin Herbert.
Speaker 1 (46:52):
Against the Broncos defense, Like bro Broncos are able to
get a lot of pressure. I know they're aggressive and
they do blitz a lot, but a lot lot of
times on third down they're rushing with four guys, they're
getting pressure with just four rushers, and coverage wise, they're
mixing and matching whether it's too high double robbers, like
they're taking away a lot of throws to where there's
a lot of tight windows. Justin Herbert is just a
(47:12):
hell of a talent. Like there was one where he
like you know, he's getting out of a pressure and
then like throws it across his.
Speaker 3 (47:17):
Body in the end zone. Yeah, the defenders should have
made the play on that ball. They end up getting
a touchdown.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
But all to say is like Denver operates defensively like
they know exactly what's going on to where you've been
a part of those defenses, to where if the offense
is checking, the defense has such a good beat on
what's getting checked out of or what they could be
checking to to where the defense is checking as well,
like they're all on the same page. As a Singleton
who's their middle linebacker communicates very well. They all communicate
(47:44):
well once whether it's a.
Speaker 3 (47:45):
Tap on the head, a hand motion, everybody across the
ward in the back seven is doing it.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
They're all on the same page. The defense for Denver
is for real. I like them this game just again
because it's like a lot of bow Nick's talk. Denver's
not like playing up to the expectation, like everybody thought.
They had that penalty where he should have won against
the Colts. You know, they lost a tough game here
against the Chargers where there's a couple of missed ops
with bow knicks. But again, a lot of it is
situational bad penalties that set up behind the sticks a lot.
(48:10):
I like the Broncos here. They just got to get back,
like they they just can't beat themselves in the early
down situation.
Speaker 5 (48:15):
The Chargers game too. The Chargers went up ten oh
on them and they had seventeen unanswered points. Yeah, they
had three drives in a row. Whe they're be able
to put points on the board. As much as people
want to hate on bow knicks, which I have kind
of done a little bit is like he can still
get the job done. Obviously, gonna have some inaccuracies here
and there. Everyone's going to have them, but I think
on the defense to keep them in games. Yeah, and
he has the ability to make explosive plays on the
(48:35):
offensive side of the ball that can take them over
the edge and win those close g.
Speaker 1 (48:39):
Yeah, the questions are there about bo Nicks, and I
think they're fair, but it's like when you're just when
you're just breaking down the tape of the offense and
everything else, there are a couple inaccurate throws where you
know he's gonna want to back, Hey you wanted to
rip one over the middle where he had a dagger,
where it's like, hey, don't hesitate, just like let this
thing rip.
Speaker 5 (48:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (48:54):
So I think those questions are fair, but I think
like there's just he's been in a lot of third
and long situations because they've gotten penalized, right right, So, Broncos, Broncos,
can you just go Jets?
Speaker 2 (49:05):
We're split on the next one.
Speaker 5 (49:07):
Yeah, if you're if you're on the fence, you should
go Jets. No, no, no, no, I can't, like I said,
and well, at least we all have similar records next week,
it's going to change a whole lot. This is probably
the game that will change. It's the true Classic game
of the week. Every Sunday's got games, but only one
fits just right. This is the true Classic game of
the week, True Classic. Listen, boys, I'm wearing all True
Classic right now. This is the Pima T shirt. Grabs,
(49:29):
the arms, grabs the soldiers, grabs that little bird chest
to mine right there, and they got this nice little
curve on the side, A nice little curve that gives
you a little more flash without having to spend a
whole lot of money on it.
Speaker 8 (49:39):
Right now.
Speaker 5 (49:39):
You can find True Classic at Amazon and Costco, Sames
Club and Target nationwide, or online at true Classic dot com.
Forward slash bustin let's enjoy fit off. Eagles at Tampa
Bay Buccaneers Jalen Hurts versus Baker Mayfield. Eagles are favored
minus three and a half. Total points in the game
is forty four and a half points Baker may Field three.
(50:02):
Uh what last minute comebacks or yeah, game winning drives,
thinking that's what that's what it was with three game
winning drives in three games this year. Eagles down. I
mean there was a twenty six to what was it, Clump,
you're a huge Eagles fan.
Speaker 4 (50:16):
Yeah, they're.
Speaker 5 (50:18):
Twenty six to seven, twenty six to ten, where they
were down by a lot. The Rams had twenty six
at half, they had twenty six at the end of
the game. And then they Eagles end up throwing being
able to throw the ball, they let a j unlock
another just throw it to a leven.
Speaker 3 (50:33):
Yeah, the off half one compared to offense and half
to completely different.
Speaker 5 (50:38):
And I know that Tampa Bay beat them last year,
and I know that's in Tampa Bay and the heat
in Dexters gonna make a one to ten one of
the three games for that game. But it's like, if
they didn't have the game against the Rams that they
did last week, I would probably go Tampa in the situation.
But seeing the second half of the Eagles where Sirianni
go walks in, he goes the second half is the offense.
We are the offense we can beat where you can run,
(50:59):
run the ball, and you get throw the ball. Allowing
Asian to do more than just a couple of slants
here and there is incredibly helpful. So I think they
take that second half game plan and they say, see
we can to Jants, you can do it, go to
Tampa they do that, I will be taking the Eagles
in this game.
Speaker 3 (51:16):
I think, just to get off the across the board.
I'm going Tampa Bay just to get.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
Off, just to get off, just because again I think
injuries in Tampa Bay, a lot of injuries in Tampa Bay.
Speaker 4 (51:25):
But this is done because I want to go Tampa
to But.
Speaker 1 (51:31):
We're getting You're getting three and a half points at home,
and it's going to be north of one hundred degrees.
Speaker 5 (51:36):
You got Baker Mayfield, got maker Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 3 (51:39):
Eagles got a.
Speaker 5 (51:39):
Lot of weapons.
Speaker 1 (51:40):
So I think Buckier, Bucky Irving, he'll get going. He's
going to continue to get better. Yeah, he's going to
continue to get better. They're going to continue to open
up the offense through him. But Baker Baker, Yeah, he's
been playing well. Rookie oh yeah, oh.
Speaker 3 (51:53):
Yeah, is nice. Yeah, he's he's a beast. Bro.
Speaker 1 (52:00):
You know, it's gonna be a fourth quarter game and
all these game winning drives and all this mojo around
Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 3 (52:07):
Give me fucking Baker Mayfield in the fourth quarter against
the Eagles.
Speaker 7 (52:10):
You know what I think I'm all right with you, bro.
Like Taylor said, it ain't no team gonna go undefeated
this year.
Speaker 4 (52:16):
This may be the way.
Speaker 5 (52:17):
The week they take it a they should have took
it all last week.
Speaker 4 (52:20):
They should have. They should have.
Speaker 5 (52:21):
I'll tell you what. The kicker for the Rams, if
I ever see him, I'll assault him because I had
the Rams.
Speaker 4 (52:27):
I know I was sitting there and a half in.
Speaker 5 (52:29):
That game and they bought that kick and the kicker
just stands there, does nothing. Could have made a tackle.
Speaker 1 (52:35):
He thinks the game over, Well, the game was, but
he should have known everywhere he still covered.
Speaker 5 (52:45):
Bro, just hit an ankle. He didn't even move. I
think he took literally three steps and has watched him
run and it's like, yeah, the game's over. But I
have some count that my FanDuel count is riding on
you tackle. He's just probably thinking a fucking another block kick,
like yeah, get the up still out?
Speaker 3 (53:07):
He was big boy was he was moving.
Speaker 5 (53:09):
And Tristan as of right now, Tristan Wurf's is still
out as well.
Speaker 2 (53:13):
Have they said any name out Godwin.
Speaker 5 (53:17):
On track?
Speaker 2 (53:18):
What about on the eagle side lane? Johnson? What's the
latest he should play too?
Speaker 1 (53:22):
But he got hurt.
Speaker 5 (53:24):
If Lane Johnson can't play, they need to get rid
of it.
Speaker 4 (53:31):
As a fan.
Speaker 2 (53:32):
As a fan, I want the Bucks to win. I
think it's good for football. Baker Mayfield is one of
the most fun and exciting quarterback, especially what he's been
able to do over the last three weeks. And you
saw what they were able to do at Raymond James
last year. Buddy threw for damn near four hundred yards.
But they had Mike Evans, they had Godwin. They're not
going to have this time. And their left tackle. I
think there's just too many injuries right tackle. Sorry, too
(53:55):
many injuries to overcome. So I'm rolling with the Eagles.
But I hope I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong as
a fan, but I'm not. I can't be wrong.
Speaker 9 (54:04):
Something something fun to look for. The Bucks brought Desmond
Watson on the practice squad. He's the guy who weighs
four hundred and forty pounds.
Speaker 4 (54:15):
Oh, they brought him back.
Speaker 9 (54:16):
Also weighs almost four hundred pounds. Try to stop the
touch push with eight hundred pounds in the middle. So
that'll be fun.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
Is he is? He game?
Speaker 9 (54:26):
But it looks like they brought him back just to
see if they could stop the.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
Touch what's his way?
Speaker 5 (54:30):
That did?
Speaker 4 (54:31):
He did?
Speaker 7 (54:31):
He?
Speaker 2 (54:31):
He lost away? He lost? Are they asking to put
it back on though? For this week? Maybe he's still
want to take this squad.
Speaker 9 (54:37):
He still can elevate, You can elevate for like I feeling,
they will elevate him and we will see if that
stops the touch push to four hundred pound guys.
Speaker 5 (54:45):
In what a perfect time for the Eagles to run
something else out of here?
Speaker 4 (54:49):
That fake pitch, Yeah, a fake. What I'd be.
Speaker 1 (54:53):
Nervous about is if it's a touch push on the
goal line, because that's a pretty far jog to get
out there in that package.
Speaker 8 (54:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (54:58):
True, you have to be around fIF you know what
I mean, get in there.
Speaker 5 (55:03):
Just wheel amount of the mask.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
Put them out there tired already. So this is okay.
Speaker 5 (55:09):
Finally we have a game to go split on Tampa.
Speaker 2 (55:14):
We both bought the Bucks Eagles.
Speaker 4 (55:17):
That's the only one we want to say.
Speaker 5 (55:18):
I would be going Bucks this week if it wasn't
for the Rams game, because that second half, like the
turnaround that they got checked, that was essentially their Packers
Brown game where it's like, hey, you guys aren't as
good as you think you are, but they were able
to fix it that halftime as opposed to you know,
after the game was over, the.
Speaker 4 (55:33):
Two of you are either going to go undefeated or
completely defeated this week, or.
Speaker 3 (55:38):
We can just go through it.
Speaker 5 (55:39):
Oh yeah, yeah we can all we can go one yeah,
go one loss or one win.
Speaker 3 (55:48):
And what I don't like about it either because it
just it just feels and never work out this way.
But we have all the favorites. Yeah, besides that.
Speaker 2 (55:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (55:57):
I had like a parlay two weeks ago and I
picked all favorites on the neton on the noon slot,
and I hit all favorites with the points. Yeah uh,
you mooded, liney.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
Yeahney right, good check.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
It's like Bengals getting seven and a half, Cowboys getting
six and a half. The rest are field goal games.
Speaker 5 (56:19):
Yeah, I bet the Boys part live hand up. I
suck at this right now. I suck at this right now.
And my pick t Mac for the Panthers would make
you think, well, he hasn't score a touchdown this year, tyl,
why would he score a touchdown? N He's playing the Patriots. Okay,
they're awful for the air. I like t mac if
you guys want to cut right now to the NFL draft,
(56:40):
and he goes, that's a good opportunity. This cat, I'm
telling you he's got to get one eventually. Why not
this week?
Speaker 4 (56:47):
My man catches everything.
Speaker 7 (56:49):
But when they getting that a zone, they're getting that redzon,
I don't know why the fun they ain't throwing.
Speaker 5 (56:55):
That ruck right, it's stud I know he's good at football.
Speaker 3 (57:00):
He is the man can catch bro Yeah, jesus, I
got Josh Jacobs.
Speaker 5 (57:05):
You know what, say, that's a great pack. There isn't
There'd be more egregious than that, though, would be Jonthan
Taylor doing who you got Jonathan Taylor?
Speaker 2 (57:15):
So I was keeping track at home. I've hit the
last two weeks and we'll make it a turkey right here.
Give me Jordan Mason on the Vikings broke one hundred
yards two touchdowns last week, headed over to Ireland Dublin
against a bad Sincy team. He's gonna do it again.
Speaker 7 (57:31):
Yeah, that injury helped him so much, Matt Steelers team
because he was there both.
Speaker 2 (57:37):
Behind you understand North right like Ord.
Speaker 7 (57:43):
Especially, they had the great White Hope. So he wasn't
going to be able to start there. Coming to the
Vikes really helped out great White Hope. Oh, Christian McCaffrey,
because when Jordan.
Speaker 4 (57:56):
Was up there like he a beast.
Speaker 2 (57:58):
Oh time about in forty nine ers, Yeah, he's a
Beatn't know why they traded.
Speaker 4 (58:01):
Him away because they got they got.
Speaker 2 (58:04):
Yeah, but if you're looking at the forty nine ers
injury history, Oh, Nick Bosa. By the way, Nick Bosa,
I changed my NFC West pick. I mean, I know
the three and other forty nine ers, but yeah.
Speaker 5 (58:15):
That's I think that's what's with the buck stops mag Jones.
Speaker 4 (58:18):
I told you this boy.
Speaker 5 (58:20):
He talked about a little bit so that a little
golf charity event, hoping couses this year.
Speaker 2 (58:25):
Hey, I've been telling you.
Speaker 8 (58:26):
I know.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
He picked right, Yeah, I pick looks goods look good too.
Speaker 4 (58:32):
I know, I know Divisual look good. So I'm like,
now I'm sitting here like, fuck, who's gonna win it?
It's a toss up. Arizona looks good like all.
Speaker 5 (58:42):
Everything that James Connor just went down their whole Oh yeah,
damn didn't. He just breaks Johnson Jr. He's questionable for
the game as well.
Speaker 4 (58:50):
He broke his ankle right bro.
Speaker 5 (58:52):
He yeah, he said, Yeah, he's fucked hoping it was
just a spring.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
I think everything in his knees torn, his knee or
like it looked like his knee or everything in his ankles.
Speaker 5 (59:05):
Yeah, knee and below it's gone.
Speaker 4 (59:06):
I mean.
Speaker 5 (59:09):
Clip you don't really see, but you can see his
foot at the bottom.
Speaker 2 (59:13):
It's face.
Speaker 4 (59:15):
That's what I said. I'm like a couple of players
whenever y'all just drink off.
Speaker 5 (59:20):
Harrison Jr. Can't cats right, He's got the yips. You
see the games like asking him questions. You can just
see the defeat on his face. If I'm if I'm
the Cardinals coaches, it's like we gotta feed him early early. Yeah,
I hit him a couple of like bubble screams. Okay,
but you see it works. Quack back back, go live
with Larry Fitzgerald, his daddy.
Speaker 4 (59:41):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (59:42):
He don't need his dad right now. Hear from his
dad right ar.
Speaker 4 (59:48):
Larryfer Gerald gonna come at him crazy though, Larry frid Jer,
I know that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (59:53):
But the family down right, now, state down right.
Speaker 3 (59:56):
You saw what I was it.
Speaker 5 (59:58):
Roman Wilson said about him, though, Oh you don't remember.
After the Hot State game at Michigan a couple of
years ago, he goes, you know, you don't want to
people want to wear the Louis Louis Baton thousand dollars cleats.
But really, I see you out there. I see the film.
You're not tough. You're not him. He was talking about
Marmon Harrison Jr. He's playing somewhere, he's gritted out on
(01:00:18):
special teams. Well he's doing He's on the Pittsburgh No
catcher opportunities, no drops though either, Yeah, no drops either.
Roman Wilson ten year NFL VET future, good jump. I'm
(01:00:39):
this closest flipping all my picks till the one seventy seven.
If I'm gonna do it, I will let you guys
know before Sunday kicks off.
Speaker 4 (01:00:48):
This is the This may be the week because all
these games has just been like see, this is.
Speaker 5 (01:00:55):
Why I feel like favorites are good. Is like every
year there's like a wonky week in last week, the
week you think it was last week. It was the
week with the you know Rams kind of doing what
they did. Oh yeah yeah, and then the Packers los
into the Browns. It was just a weird week.
Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
Getting whooped by the Lions.
Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
Yeah no, and it's like, all right, this is where
everything kind of like resets a little bit. So I
kind of like favorite picks this week. Everyone kind of
like recalibrates and if it didn't happen to them, they're
pointing and be like, see those guys, we don't want
to be the Packers this.
Speaker 4 (01:01:22):
Week the fourth quarter? Huh the same.
Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
Who's to say that's why we play the game? Put
the ball down on Sunday?
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Yeah, parlay all the favorites. It's plus forty three forty.
Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Three really with the with the points though.
Speaker 3 (01:01:37):
I'll see what's up.
Speaker 7 (01:01:40):
Favorites, money line, No, the spread, that's where it gets Harry,
That's where it gets Harry.
Speaker 4 (01:01:45):
Yeah, always Harry with the spread.
Speaker 5 (01:01:49):
Thursday, we will be streaming Seahawks Cardinals.
