Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies, Joma, Welcome to the NFL the locker room.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
As always, I am joined by Clay Matthews, will Compton,
Delaney Walker, and my name is Tayla one. This is
a big week, A lot of games here, a lot
of games. They'll be discussed. We can talk about those
while during the show. Let's take a peek at last week.
Someone put week through here. Week two we two, says
Clay Matthews. Very nice, four and two. That was really good.
Delaney five and one. I wonder what that one was.

(00:22):
Maybe it was the chemistry between Ben Johnson and Cable Williams.
We'll get into that a little bit.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Taylor one five to one, and we little Willie two
and four. Wow.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
And if you check in the college football one as well,
it was about the same actually even a little bit
better in the NFL. Let's get into it this week,
big excited this before we get going, though, subscribe unsubscribed, resubscribe.
It's very important if you like to show you like
the stuff that helps us out a bunch. Put the
pumpkin in the chat. We are so close to Spooketober.

Picture this.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
You're watching the game, maybe a Thursday night livestream with
the boys. Someone just houses sixty yard bomb and now
you're thinking, bro, this over is about the hit boom.
You can bet it live right there on your phone
while you're still losing your mind.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Defense just picked off the QB jump on that live spread.
That rookie receiver just torched the secondary twice in a row.
Smash that at anytime, touchdown, prop, red zone turnover, you
know they're kicking a field goal. Live bet that sucker.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I'll tell you guys this, like when we do these streams,
like it's really fun, Like the whole group chat goes.
We hit a bunch of parlays.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
And literally I just blind.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I'm like I just every parlay that comes in, I'll
hit it, hit hit it. But something about like you know,
this week Bill's first drive does what's an ending? Like
this person having stee ktches on this drive like that
gets you juiced up every single drive and it kind
of just makes it a little more fun. Especially a
game like this week this Thursday seems like it's going
to be a nasty, nasty blow up, and.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
It's always too It's like when it's just a primetime game.
It's the only game on TV that's where you're just
so body.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Focus is right there. Yeah, because on Sundays.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I don't know about y'all, but when I have the
four screens up and one of them happens to be
a red zone, I don't know. I overstimulated. You've been
too much for my infant brain to handle.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
It's hard to keep up with. It's like you're following
the games, but you're not like actually watching the game.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
And I know we had to get into the show,
and we know that Clay is kind of he's punted
on the idea of doing entertaining intros.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
So I want to check in on you. Wait I can.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Okay, first of all, that's not true. That's not true.
Give today who are you?

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Who are you? Every week? That's what I want to know.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
I'm me, I'm me every week. I want this to
be the last time that I continue that I am
the glue guy for this locker around.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Oh, you can't do that.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
So you gave me some heat last week, So I
come bearing fruit this week. Okay. I know it's Will's
birthday come nineteenth, right, Yeah, yes, It's Will's birthday. So
and I know you've been all in on the packers
even before the Mica trades. So I just wanted to
get you something. Can we have the boys bring it
out real quick? I just got you just a little something,
nothing big, just something to show my appreciation.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
The ultimate I think it's going to go right there.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Okay, perfect?

Speaker 3 (04:22):
So that is all that is eighty pounds of parmisano
reggiano straight from because you've been all in. Yeah, you
feel that grease, Yeah that means that means that's a
block of cheese right there. It's been aging for years
and years, so you can see this all and you
know it's legit when it's got this, you know, the
little roll parmesan. So I didn't bring the tools today.

(04:44):
I brought but we'll have to crack it open sometimes.
So yeah, this this right here though, the inside, the
heart of the cheese. That's what kings and queens used
to eat in the in the eighteen hundreds.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Being a packer's legend. Is this something that just sits
in your basement or do you have to buy this yourself?

Speaker 3 (04:58):
I went out got this especially for you. Where did
you get that? Birthday to you? Because you're all in
this is this is you know, my way former packer,
being all in. I thought you'd love something like this.
You have to break it over. That's I didn't forget
about you guys, too. Is just a little small. I
just I got a little past these down. Just some
cheese curds, just some cheese, Delaney. I don't know if

(05:21):
you're lactose and tolerant or not, but I know this. Hey,
parmesan the resaant no latos, no latos?

Speaker 5 (05:27):
Where did you get that from? The usually don't like selling.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Those bigger than boys just chilling there.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yeah, no, this is from Italy.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
From Italy.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
I'm telling you from Italy.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
It's expensive. I'm telling you all your watched the show
the cheese Claves got I asked my wife. I said,
She's like, yeah, bring some home. So I'm gonna need
at least we cut it open.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
I thought you I just thought you'd take the top
off so you can mix.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
The all brother you can. I mean, you can use
this just eating it raw with you know, nice fruits
and jams and preserves.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
I'm not that you know who loves.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
You could rewards.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
It's a great starter pack forards for the next sixteen years.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
Of his life board at a party, not if it's
been sitting there all day.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
They're literally dried meats and cheeses, but like they're good
to the day.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
I mean a lot of people then coughed and touched over.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Every time.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Yeah, all the food.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Yeah, like before we get it, like you brought up
like germs and stuff. What's your stance? I'm double dipping?

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Oh I don't do it. Yeah, I'm not. Have you
double dip?

Speaker 4 (06:37):
If we're sitting there and you see Taylor double dip,
what's happening in your brain?

Speaker 1 (06:43):
What do you do?

Speaker 5 (06:43):
It's his? That sauce is his?

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Like, but are you saying anything or you just like
like that's not.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
Washing your hands after you taking number two? Like it's disrespectful.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Oh you see, I never want to disrespect. You would
never try to disrespect.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
It's like disrespect.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
It's like you it's like you're taking the number two
coming out the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Double dips before like you don't mind something else double dips.
What if they like noses running they got a call, Well,
then I might like think all right, so maybe it's
just a blanket statement. No double dip.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
I think can be situad don't show themselves.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
I'm sure.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Yeah, right, sit over there, just take a nice little
twosie walk out.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
I know it happened. Like, I'm like you probably what's.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Your stance on washing your hands in a public restroom,
whether it's number one umber two? I think it's discussed
in public wrests. I won't. I'll wait till I get
in the car. I got my little anti back out there.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
You ain't washing.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
I got anti bacterial soap in the car, so I
don't wash them if like I'm going to a public bathroom.
But I'm also I grabbed the paper out of the thing.
I touched the door knob with it, you know, throw
it away. So and I listen, I know what I got.
I'm clean. You know what I'm saying. I don't know
about you. You need to wash your hands out the words.
I think that speaks volume. Yeah, I'm bubble boy over there. Yeah,

(07:59):
I'm I'm weird about the hair washing.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
I am with you.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
I washed my hands in the bathroom in public because
I have this like I'm always grabbing my mustache. Yeah,
and his fingers being so close to.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
His mouth, ta you get worms? Can't have it? Yeah,
have the kids that realized it's very easy to get worms.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Yeah worms, what type of worms?

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Worms?

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Yeah, earth worms.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
I've never had your kids of what's that ham hand
the mouth? Now, that's that's real contagion, That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Like, so she's gone.

Speaker 7 (08:26):
We got to show up to our sponsor form.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Energy form energy derive from world ging t.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
I love that it used to be cats all the
time that used the.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Bathroom in America's dairy land. Okay, the bathroom and.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Like I'm like, oh no, I was gonna use the
hands sand they're lying. I'm like, what but I got
in all the cars though. You know you ain't gonna
you rather use the hand sanitizer then you wash your
hands the handside Tiers is just like the film.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
You ain't really cleaning your hands.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, you shop is for getting like dirt and grime
and whatnot. But the ninety nine point nine the alcohol
is what kills the germs. So what's you know, like,
what's more important to kill germs?

Speaker 6 (09:02):
Can you wash your hands and put the hands.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Look like you can?

Speaker 1 (09:06):
You guys from California?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Yeah, just germs all that thing?

Speaker 1 (09:12):
You a little bit? How about it's your fingernails.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
I just cut him this morning.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Yeah, yes, you're cute.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
I've seen you on a tractor before, going twenty feet
down your driveway thing.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
You see me work.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
You see the hours on it, and you've had it
for four years. Yeah, I love Cama. Endorsement is not
a good look for you, but I kind of want
to track you for it. Yeah, I do.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
You said you was about to ask me something. You
was like, yo, what and then Taylor.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Yeah, bears Williams, Oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
They look good rightelling.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Hey, their first drive though, they they did look good.

Speaker 6 (09:54):
Look, look, look, long story, guys. I'm gonna just tell
you all what happened. I was frustrated. I pulled out
Tommy gunn let it off in the front because I'm like, dude,
I said, all this ship and this food and posted.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Like I shot a gun off because you were that man.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
I was hot because I already knew what was about
to happen. I already remember it.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Was about to have I went and said that he
said this man then posted me on this food.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
Chopped up just a bear segment just me.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Yeah, yeahlady, like you gotta know like you have that
type of take that's gonna come back to you.

Speaker 6 (10:31):
I mean, I get it, and I thought they was
gonna hold me down.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Literally five and one, but you were going vikings until
you gave a status. You're just throwing darts at the wall.
You said Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson have a good chemistry.

Speaker 6 (10:48):
I never said they had a good chemistry. I said
the team was playing good.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
I think you did say cave off like I said.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
He said he said something about Ben Johnson cal I
said that may not be true the way they played,
But deep down, I just can't fuck with Caleb right now.
Like I'm a shot like dog. I was riding with you.
I was riding with you, but now I.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Ain't fucking with Bears are owing to you have a
twelve point five percent chance of making the playoffs, So
it's very there. It's very likely that they're not going
to make the playoffs this year.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
In the just don't say that about the Chiefs.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Hold on, ye no, no, yeah, hold on.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
If we're big on like college football, you just did
a better college football mission Nebraska playing this week. I
bet for you if the Bears make the playoff, would
you paint your fingernails.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
If they make the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Yeah, like Caleb, Yeah, of course.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Can they say Caleb on them?

Speaker 5 (11:41):
No? No, they came out and say we'll do that.

Speaker 6 (11:45):
No, Daddy Bear, No, why would I put yeah suspect
as it goes. The painting of the fingernails is a
lot for me.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
I wouldn't put it past you. What I mean when
I played with you like you like to, I.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Never got I could, I could never got.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
You went on, you took between.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
I never tried it out. You got me twisted.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Between O t a's one year you left and came
back for camp and you go I went to Israel,
Hebrew Israel?

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Right now, like you make this, what does that have
to be. I'm just saying, like your fingernails, I don't
think it's.

Speaker 6 (12:24):
Not my daughter's painting. My daughter's painting them. I'm a rockie,
like straight up. If my daughter paying them, I'm rocking them.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
So have your daughter paying them if the Bears.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
If the Bears go to the playoffs, I have my
daughter paying my nails.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
We'll get into the Chiefs, by the way, because we
have them on the slip today. But we have right
now straight up NFC West Showdown, Cardinals two and Niners
too and.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Talk about seeing the board that preseason. What was the
only he.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Talking about who was gonna be playing?

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Mac Jones his boy too. I know'st the powerhouse of NFC.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
Sou They're not the power.

Speaker 6 (13:04):
At the powerhouse right now. They used to be though,
Yeah they used to be.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
Yeah, yeah, they used to be.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
So who you got?

Speaker 6 (13:11):
Yeah, forty favorite, y'all go first, because it may change
my opinion, but go, y'all go ahead.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
That is wild. I like the forty nine ers in
this game.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
I know we're missing George Kittle right now, but you
break down the film with the forty nine Ers versus
the Saints, the offensive line, no one runs a better
zone scheme than that offensive line. Kyle Shanahan understands manipulation
of games the way he runs the outside zone and
then all of a sudden hill duo right down the middle.
He's got blockers that will go and block from all
day long. Juwan Jenny's got the shoulder, but he's still

(13:45):
playing CMC, still doing this thing. And then like the
thing I love is Robert Sala and his ability to
get eleven guys on defense to play as hard as
fast they do. Because for the most part. You look
at the forty nine ers defense and it's like, oh,
Fred Warner, I know who that is, Nick bosterwhere that is?
And then it's a lot of like, oh shit, who's
that guy? Oh, who's that guy? But it's really just dudes.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Flying around the ball. Cardinals.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I mean, they haven't had more than three hundred yards
of total offense in both their games.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
All three of their.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Corners are out, and so when I just look at
this at being an at the forty nine ers, I
just see them starting this season three and oh that's
how I feel.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
No, I feel you. I like your opinion.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
I'm rocking your opinion. You had, you know, all the
good points right there. To me, it's like Cardinals are
an overhyped two and oh beating the Saints and the
Panthers by just a few points in each game. I
like Rob Salad. I love how he has the defense
flying around right now. It is it sucks that, you know,
Mac Jones, he did step up and he's he played

(14:46):
an incredible game with brought pretty out. Hopefully he can
keep that up. Leaning on c MC, last I saw
CMC was on the injury the injury report. Okay, I
thought so too well. I saw the Q next to
his name. I didn't dive into it too much. I
like the Niners, though, I like the Niners at home,
and it's one and a half, I'm taking the Niners.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Does the Cardinals sweeping the forty nine ers last year
have any both times beat them one way or the other.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
What if their secondary didn't bad shape? Because like I
kind of like Kyler Murray, like other than the one
player he got against the Panthers, like that, he's playing
good ball and he's so shifting and.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
You got Bride what Marvin Harrison Junior, James Connor still Paris,
Harris Johnson show the show but off stack.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
So I got forty nine ers, I got forty nineers.
I think like you said, their secondary, you got three
guys out. Matt Jones aired it thirty nine times for
a career high. Like I think Shannon lean on him
the quarterback whisper.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
They come out of that game where they start the
game against the Saints, like they threw the ball three times.
They go three and out, but it shows Shand's like, oh,
we got a guy that can go and facilitate the
ball the way we want, Like.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
We can still play the same offense that.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
We want to, similar to like a Jyden Annuals if
he's out Mark going in.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Oh yeah, it's like off. It's still the same.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
We lose this game, We're going to lose this.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
We're all I look over, we're all undoubtedly on the.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Night pump Fish.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
Cast here.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
We're dead.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
We're done.

Speaker 6 (16:18):
You got, I got the Cardinals. I just wanted to
hear everything. You jokers had the same.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
So much I get.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
I wish Hey Cardinals defense though Delaney haven't let up,
haven't given up one hundred yard rush. No, Josh Sweat
had that huge play to start the game Offlas Campbell
is still balling doing it at thirty years very he
closed out the game.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
He closed like Clais Campbell, like you have a lot
of respect to him.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
Fourteen years, Yes, for the damn there pushing eifteen.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Buddy, he was like seven years in league when I
got That's what I said.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Yeah, I played, just counted this.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
Yeh yeah, I mean maybe I played.

Speaker 6 (16:59):
He was it never got back in Arizona. Back in Arizona.
But look like he said, they ain't. They allow seventy
eight rushing yards per game with a three point eight
yard per carry. I mean that defense right now, they're
gonna ship that rundown. Yes, they do have banged up
back a backfield, but if they can get to him
before he throw the ball, it's gonna be a tough.

Speaker 5 (17:18):
Game for now.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
And like you said, Kyle Murray's been exciting just running
all over the field.

Speaker 5 (17:22):
He looked like a little little person right say.

Speaker 6 (17:32):
He likes the way his legs holding the ball like
all crazy, but he exciting.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
I love he do look like a babble. His head
is huge.

Speaker 6 (17:43):
But I'm taking I'm taking Cardinals plus one and a half.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
You know I'm not gonna say, yeah, I'm taking I'm
taking the Cardinals. I'm gonna leave it that. I ain't
gonna second guess myself.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Good.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Don't like I was wanted it.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
I wanted to move the line, but I know how
you guys are about me moving the line.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
If you were to move, if you were favorite, and
make them more favorites than.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
Going No, I was gonna take the money line, no half.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
It was like five and a half, six and a half.
He wanted to go the other way. Yeah, saying gusy yourself,
we're does not know what you do that? Yeah, the
Cardinals plus twelve and a half this week. Same he
put me on that as well. I'll think the Cardinals
plus twelve and a half.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
I'm all about winning, guys, Yeah, you're about winning.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Yeah, Petty's on the dollar. You're like the Canadian currency
out there, dude. Next game, Bengals at Vikings, the Battle
of the backups. Vikings are favored at minus three. Total
points in that game is forty two and a half points.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Who picked this game?

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Who picked it?

Speaker 5 (18:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (18:44):
Who picked this game?

Speaker 1 (18:44):
To clump?

Speaker 2 (18:47):
I mean, did you got Carson Wentz going at it?
Jake Brownings four and three as a starter, he was
pressured seven out of eight times. He went seven for
eight one hundred and fifty two yards.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Like some exciting stuff.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
Did go off their connection, you know, Mark.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
T Higgins Henderson, It's like it leads the league in pressures.
He's fourth in the league pressure, fourth in the league pressures.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
He's fourth in the league pressures And hey, goo ahead.

Speaker 7 (19:14):
The reason I picked this game?

Speaker 4 (19:16):
All your careers have had backup quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Oh that's a good points, smart, a good point quarterback.
Can I be honest about how I felt when we
had a backup quarterback.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
I was so delusional. I thought we were gonna win
every single game.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
Oh unless. I never thought we.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Went You guys think we had Seneca Wallace coming at
one point and any like tours growing off his bone,
and after like when a Rod went down, it was
just like, oh, no, there goes our season. Like Matt
Flynn balled out early in my career, he got a
big contract off what he was able to do, and

(19:54):
I think to and eleven the last game we were
fourteen and one, and he came man through for like
six touchdowns five hundred yards. You gotta that was when
he went up to Seattle or excuse me, that's when
he got the contract from Seattle. And then they brought
in Russell and Russell ended up starting over him the
very next year. But after that it was tough.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
It was tough sledding. Yeah, I never thought we lose.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
In San Francisco, we had Alex Smith and then Kaepernick,
so it was just like either one, we was gonna
win the game.

Speaker 5 (20:24):
With those two dudes.

Speaker 6 (20:25):
You are top the bottom such a great Yeah. We
have backups on backups, That's what I'm saying. We have
backups on backups on back up a backup.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Yeah, I know it's such an important position too.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
I know I've been there.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
It's such as John.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
But look he started over you towards the end there.

Speaker 5 (20:47):
No, he did not ankle was broke. I broke my ankle.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
But you can see. You can see it in camp, like, oh,
they're starting to favor this young cat.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
Yeah, we can see in camp because he's never out there.
He's in the training room hanging out.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Coach came in another off day when the lady broke
his angle. The next season, it was like, we go
to walk throughs and you bring a stool out behind
the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Nah, I'm a game, I'm a ball out on something.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Y'all go ahead and do this dumb shit. I know
I block.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
They'll come over like what you got to do.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
I'm like post you are, like, yeah, I know you,
I know you on top of I'm over there telling jokes.

Speaker 5 (21:27):
Come I see him walk up, watch out he coming.
Well what you got on that play? Are cut off?
Oh yeah, you're paying attention.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Like the easiest coaches coaches.

Speaker 4 (21:36):
Coach, I'm curious if the if the Vikings feel like
you know, if you might lose the starting quarterback who
you don't know if it's like the guy, Yeah, Jaji
McCarthy had an incredible fourth quarter of Week one, didn't
play very well in Week two. It's like when he
goes down and Carson goes in, Like, I wonder if
the the locker room feels excited about Carson getting a
shot because you know, the Bengals due like the Bengals.
It sounds like it's the situation with the team or

(21:58):
with like the Niners and stuff to where Brown and
he's been proven that he can step in for Joe
b and play at a high level.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
I wonder if it's the same.

Speaker 5 (22:05):
For the way Carson Wentz. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
I think Carson Wentz is more prepared to run that offense.
And this is only going off I know he started
one game last the last game for the Chiefs last year,
but I think he's more prepared to run the Vikings
offense than JJ was.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
Me too.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
I don't think there's anything controversial about that. I just
think JJ maybe he does sit for the next three
I think they're going to go overseas for the next
two games after this, Like, let Carson run the show.
They have a whole week prepare. It's not like they're
throwing Carson in in the middle of a game. Like
I think O'Connell's going to game plan for this, and
I see the Vikings beating the Bengals. I see Browning
did play well last year. He did play well, but

(22:39):
he also turned the ball over three times. So if
they can limit those the Bengals limit those turnovers, then
I think they got a chance. But I just don't
see it happening, especially just you know a little stat Delaney.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
I know you like them.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
I like him too, but last six seasons past protection
efficiency or rankingscuse me, twenty ninth, thirtieth, thirtieth, twenty seven,
thirty second, and twenty eighth are the Bangs. They can't
protect their quarterback. There's gonna be pressure on them. You
got a backup coming in. He's gonna turn the ball over?

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Is it a Bean Ginkle? Is he coming back this week?
He still got a Rumors are swirling, rumors are us? Yeah.
I think it makes me nervous about the Vikings.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
They blitz thirty eight point nine percent of the time
drop back passes, and Jake Browning has proven he's really
good against blitz this that that worries me. Vikings are
also thirtieth in the league when it comes to giving
up pass yards and you have massive weapons.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
On the outside for you and the perimeter. I think Joe,
if I'm Joe.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Burrow, I might be getting a lawyer right now because
he's probably the only quarterback that can go and sue
his team for not protecting him over the last four
years and win that battle. But like the Bengals are
looking at their quarterback being like, he's done it.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
We've seen him do it. He went four and three as.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
A starter for us. We can be successful. The Vikings
are probably thinking the same thing. But I like the
Bengals in this game.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
Is Jayden gonna play? Is he office suspension? Was it
two games? Suspension? Three?

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Oh? Addison?

Speaker 5 (23:54):
Three games?

Speaker 3 (23:56):
Jordan Jordan Adison, Yeah, you call him James Jalen Jaylen,
I don't know Jaylen Adison.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
But I'll take the I'll take the Bengals.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
I like the Vikings. I like the Vikings at home.
The defense, yeah, I like the defense. And again it's like,
uh JJ's I mean he's young. This is essentially his
rookie year. Being injured all last year. Still you look
you look at uh, you look at Danny Dimes too
in Indianapolis.

Speaker 6 (24:19):
Like the.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
Moment he had a couple of weeks ago where he's
talking about the preparation of O'Connell. He feels like he
got better with the short stint with the Vikings, Like,
I just believe in O'Connell, coach Phillips, that offensive, the
way they prepare, the way they game plan and everything else.
I think they'll have a solid plan against the Bengals,
and Bengals are very questionable defensively outside of past rush
moments from Trey Hendrickson.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna take that.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
Getting better than the turnover margins they did.

Speaker 5 (24:45):
Yeah, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna take the under
and a half.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Well, pick a team too, just for the sick of
the show. That's his pick though it's the gambling show.
He likes the under, Like, okay, that's great. I also like,
if you were to pick a team, we don't have play.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
If you like you love the under the under.

Speaker 6 (25:04):
However, I would definitely take the Vikings if I had
to take the Vikings because Carson Wentz is just proving quarterback.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Perven quarterback got cut.

Speaker 5 (25:13):
They we all get cut?

Speaker 1 (25:15):
How many not me? I walked away?

Speaker 3 (25:17):
I got cut?

Speaker 5 (25:18):
You lying.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
I tried to play. I was banging on the door.
They would let me in. I was gambling.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
That means they don't want you now.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
But I didn't get cut.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
I was going in to get signed like and then
it's like, all right, but how did you get off
the team?

Speaker 5 (25:32):
Contract ran out?

Speaker 3 (25:34):
Contract ran out, and you went out on your terms.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
Went out on my terms. They was trying to sign
me in the off season too. Teams is trying to
sign in the off season too. They were like, nah,
we got something special on busting with the boys.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
I mean you didn't win that battle though he had
worked out for you. Show the NFL who's who.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
Take that minimum contract and shoved up your asses. Boys,
I'm gonna.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Stay look at these rookies now as.

Back to the episode.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Raiders that Commanders.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Here we go Commanders our favorite minus three and a half.
Raiders just lost the Chargers. Commanders just lost the Packers.
What gives? What happens here? Austin Eckler, Mark Hilles see
it on his face.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Yeah, when it.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Happens, it's heartbreaking. Is Jada Danio's gonna play? If he
doesn't play? Are we gonna be okay? Because Marcus Mariota
and then when he came in the game he bawled out.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Gino Smith looks good. Asha Dente doesn't look so hot?
Right now? Does you figure it out? This week? And
gets the defense that.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Was suspect last year in the rush? All questions that
will be answered by Will Compton right now.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
I think this is big. It's a big win by
the Commanders. I think they got punching the mouse last
week against the best team in football. Obviously, Packers are
up there. You got the Bills, you got the Eagles,
but they got hitting the mouth last week against the Packers.
Their run defense has improved tremendously since last year. They
have some pass rush. To me, it's like even if
Jane Dniels doesn't go. I love Marcus Mariota in this situation.

(27:30):
You see what he came in last year. He played
very well in the Raiders defense. Like when I was watching,
when I was trying to catch up on the Monday
night football games the next day by watching see how
Herbert was dialing it up the pressure, the pass rush
that the Raiders had. I'm sitting there watching the film.
In the back seven looks brutal for the Raiders.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Guys.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
You know, two guys shitting in the same Cokecaine standing
next to each other in the zone areas, guys not
picking up crossers, guys. Just it honestly does not look good.
I love the Commanders in this game, big too, but
I'll take him minuster and half. I just think the
Commanders that again. You you go to Green Bay, you
get hit in the mouth. I love Dan Quinn. You've
heard about his cult. You hear about his culture all

(28:09):
the time. I think they're gonna be ready to go
there and they're gonna love like playing at home, hosting
the Raiders. Raiders gotta travel. Raiders also a tough one.
Gino Smith and that and that Chip Kelly offense. They
can't do it all old line of struggled big time,
pass protection, struggled ashing genty was picking up pass protection.
They can't get a run game going with them, And
I think, uh the I was about to say the
Redskins the Commanders are built. They're not gonna get better

(28:33):
against the Commanders in that defense.

Speaker 5 (28:35):
Yeah, as Brock Borrowers is gonna play this game.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
He came out all right, I think the last game,
but he was a little.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
He's gonna play in front of the show. Seen his mentality.
They asked, would you do anything for He said stick.

Speaker 6 (28:47):
No, that's what that's like with him. When he's healthy
and naked, they got him. He makes all the plays
on there. We know that for a fact. He helps
the Raiders make plays. If he's not healthy, it's gonna
be tough for the Raiders team and be successful on
the offense.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
He's the key player.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
Yeah, I think if you want to be successful as
a Raiders, you have to be able to run the
ball and protect on third down. Like those are two
keys that you can ever and both those right now
are not. Like the offensive line has to do a
better job in blocking. But Aston Genty, you watch the film,
he's missing a couple of holes here and there. And
then if you are the commanders on a third and
six plus, you are in a great position because you
have four guys rushing the passer and then you take

(29:22):
a guy like Frankie Luvu who you can put down
in a three point stance, you just drop him back
that they did with Durwin James, where the charges playing
the Raiders find the man's side exploit the back because
asking Genty hasn't proved that he can be he can
protect in pass protection. Yet they ran a lot of
great games where you have four offensive linements sliding one
way and keeping the right tackle one on one. And

(29:44):
then you take Frankie Louvy or Durwd James the situation,
you pick him and then Genty's got to pick up
that that head that's pressure all day.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
That's something that you look at. It's like, how do they.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
Handle that situation? You have to have a back that's
able to step in protection. You can't slide rson L's
the whole time. So when you getting third down, what
you're going to get in a football game. I love
Commanders over Raiders instance, I think I think Gena Smith's
left on, but I like the Commanders as well.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
Three and a half do we feel like because when
we watched that game last night or whatever it was
Monday Night Chargers Raiders, it felt like the Chargers were
winning by a pretty good margin, but the score was
closer than it was until Herbert hit that you know,
sixty yard bomb. So my question is, are the Raiders
closer to being a better team than what was put

(30:32):
on put out there? Because I'm having a hard time,
like I think I'm gonna go with the Commanders. I
wanted y'all to speak first, but man, they looked uninspired
on Thursday, and that was before Jaden supposedly hurt his knee.
So I don't know if like the Packers are just
that good on defense, or if they just had their
number or what you know. I just feel like the
Raiders they played at least the game looked closer to

(30:53):
me than the Chiefs did against the Chargers in Week one,
so I think the Raiders are closer than what they
put out there. I mean, obviously see what Gino throwing
three picks a couple just just he just threw away
balls there. I think it's closer. But man, I got
the Commanders too, But I just I don't feel real
confident about that pick. But I like if Marcus Mariota
goes in there just to pick, get him on the
edge a little bit, because if Jaden can't run, you lose,

(31:16):
you know, that dynamic ability. Last year, What's what you
saw last on Thursdays. He ran for like seventeen yards
or something, and I'm waiting for him to get on
the outside, you know, keep the Packers honest, and he
just I mean between the pass rush and that zone
defensive Packers were playing like he just couldn't get a
pass off in their dB. So I don't know, I
think if if he loses that ability, if he plays
this week, Jayden Daniez doesn't have the ability to run.

Speaker 5 (31:38):
Like I feel like Marc is gonna have a package though.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
I think they know his mobility is low, so we
no Jaden, so we're gonna see probably two quarterbacks. See
Markets come in for the rollout plays, getting that momentum going.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
I don't know if.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
Market, if they had that game plan, I'll always set
the Raiders in that sense because if you have to.
The whole phrase is like if you have two quarterbacks,
you actually have a quarterback, like, you need one guy.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
To be in there.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
He's got to feel the game. He's got to even
if it's just a handoff, being in the rhythm of
a game. I feel like it's so important for quarterbacks
then just having a guy out there for couple plays,
switching in and out, it just makes it so choppy
when it comes to how smooth and christ you can
make a game plan go.

Speaker 6 (32:16):
I just feel like Jayden don't want to sit out
even though he's hurt. Like even in the past time
when Marcus was playing, he did not want to sit out,
but he had to. He said it like I wish
I was.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
He's a competitor.

Speaker 5 (32:25):
H he's a competitor. Oh no, I got the commanders.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Give me the commanders the board.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
But if we get to sit We were watching we
were watching this underneath coverage in their depth and zone
drops and everything even on even on.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
A quick steps.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Guys are getting like full depth, like it's it's not
it's not pretty.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
No, I think the Raiders are gonna be okay. I
think they're gonna be okay. They're just behind where the
you know, like you saw Harball with the Chargers last year.
Now he has a generational talent and Herbert whereas you
bring in Geno Smith. But like, I think they'll be okay,
But I don't. I think they dropped this one this week.

Speaker 8 (33:03):
The Raiders first contact when they rush the ball, when
Ashton's running the ball, that they averaged the first contact
behind the line of scrimage.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
Because he don't jump, he just runs into the person.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
His eyes his eyes are a little big right now.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
You can tell he's he's it's a different animal when
you go from college the NFL, of course, and a
lot of guys get it picked up right away, like
well Compton did, and a lot of guys it takes
a couple of years.

Speaker 6 (33:22):
Well, you know he said it, I like contact. Theayler
was like, yo, why, like you're getting hit?

Speaker 3 (33:27):
He like, well, I like that first run yeah, as
but yo, that spin move some times.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Yeah, this is gonna be a fun year for backup
quarterbacks might be the year of the backup quarterback, Mac Jones,
Sam sam Donold goes from Minnesota. Now he's in Seattle.

Speaker 5 (33:46):
Well Jones back jail.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
Everyone's kind of resurrecting the career. Baker Mayfield might be
my favorite.

Speaker 6 (33:51):
Sometimes you just got to go to a different organization
because it may be that offensive coordinator who's holding you down.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Who says, who says Marcus doesn't have a big comeback,
who says Marcus isn't it a championship level quarterback?

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Generational talent. When he was coming out, he.

Speaker 6 (34:04):
Was he was, you know, he got you got you
gotta beat the funk up at the Yeah, that's beat
the fuck up.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
Well you say it like that.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
But yeah, because they're a line or what his first year, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:16):
I mean it was it would be from the left
tackle play, but definitely uh and he took some hits.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Man who was the sun.

Speaker 6 (34:25):
Roofs Ruth played with Marcus.

Speaker 2 (34:29):
Yeah, twenty nine years the Titans had three tackles left.

Speaker 5 (34:33):
Tackle tackle plays.

Speaker 9 (34:34):
What you're saying, not like the Packers with their quarterballs.
Yeah you're right, yeah you go, hey, Yeah, you're right,
Packers for life. Man Eagle bro, I got you a
block of the state of wisconstant.

Speaker 4 (34:48):
Behind you will Rams and Eagles behind Eagles favored by
three and a half.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Over under on this game is forty four and a half.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
This is two elite teams right here. This is a game,
a twelve o'clock game too. What are we doing here?
I don't want it to get mixed.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
I think people were sleeper on the Rams this year
and everyone's like Eagles will just pump.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
On the real Stafford looks starting to find Davante Puka
continuing to be pooka out there. Their defense looking phenomenal,
just littered in the top ten boards on offense defense,
looking like a better team than the Eagles. Looking the
play the Eagles, I think they both have a tremendous

(35:28):
pass rush, Rams defense number one scoring defense. Like, I
think this is gonna be a fun game. But went
back looked at those two games last year in which
they played the Rams. You know who went off. Sakwan
had over two hundred yards rushing in both of them,
four touchdowns, all of them for over sixty yards. I
think it's gonna come down to explosive plays. But I

(35:50):
got the Eagles like it was kind of how I
bet the Chiefs last year and to somebody knocks you off,
proved to me that the other team is better, and
they're they're going to the link, They're going to the link,
and I just I think it comes down to explosive plays.
If the Rams can stop the run, and the Eagles
haven't looked as good as where they finished last year,
and the Rams were the only team to give them

(36:10):
a test in the playoffs before you know, they beat
the Commanders and the Chiefs. So I like the Eagles.
I think it's going to be close, but I think
it comes down to explosive plays.

Speaker 8 (36:19):
Really, nine and two in their last eleven games, only
two losses, I'm definitely are nine and two in their
last eleven games, including postseason. Their only two losses have
both been to the Eagles.

Speaker 5 (36:33):
I'm going with the Eagles. Now, thanks for that'st give me.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
The Rams with the points?

Speaker 3 (36:39):
What are the points again?

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Feels feel that pass rush that the Eagles have, like
you know, this has a good pass rush? Is the
Houston Texans on both sides? Maybe probably a better one.
No one does a better job of getting the ball
out more accurately than Stafford with with somebody in his face.
And also you look at the defense that has studs
everywhere for the Eagles, like, but it's who's across from

(37:03):
Mitchell that's the person.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
That's gonna get explored all day.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
And the Rams have the weapons to do that because
they got DeVante Adams and they got Pooka Nukula. Like
you can't double both of them. You've got to give
help somewhere. And I think Stafford is a guy that
can get the ball out in the perforset.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Amount of time. He can throw it accurately, deep, intermediate, short,
like he's.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
A guy that you just never question. I thought Blake
Corn look kind of nice last week time. I understand
in a tough position.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
So you can see the Blake Korm. You know why
they got him out of Michigan. You could you could
see it as.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
He's he started getting Selvay said, I want to get
Blake Corn the ball more and they were very clear
about that and wanted to get Devanta Adams the ball.
You could tell both those things shut out Clump anytime
touchdown Devonte Adams. But like Korm is starting to find
himself as as a rusher in this league. And that's
gonna be only help Stafford getting the ball out. All
those things you need a good rushing attack and then

(37:56):
also head coach play injured planner fashion you eat away
and inflammation on a plane getting into the link probably might.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
Be in the boot, probably too tough for the boot.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
Players are gonna see that. They're gonna rally around it.
I like the Rams.

Speaker 5 (38:12):
Literally got hurt standing on the sideline.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
Hey, happens to a lot of guys. Maybe maybe he
saw the highlight of Ray Broide. Wait, it was like a.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
Camera his last year to Yeah, Camar like gets hitting
the sideline and this old guy who's like guy with
that little yellow orange penny on I.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Picks up his leg. He's like yeah, yeah, yeah, like
a time out.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
His ass one there.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
The next week, Sean mcday is.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
Sean McVay about the security guard.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
Here to protect he doesn't have injured smoking Newport.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
I'm just saying, dude, Sean mcday being injured is a
big deal in this game.

Speaker 5 (38:59):
Very I gave it that.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
It's a big deal on this.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
So Delaney and I got the Eagles, you two got
the Rams.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
Yeah, they're gonna happen, Carter, It'll be the Rams.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
Hope they don't running the ball this year. The Rams
in these two games.

Speaker 5 (39:13):
They're they're not a big run team.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
But they are the fourth best.

Speaker 5 (39:18):
And passing, yeah, they passed the ball a lot. I
mean Pooka.

Speaker 6 (39:20):
They just just throw it to him, let him just
makes them happen.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
The Rams are good against the run, though, they do
relatively well against the run.

Speaker 5 (39:28):
But what about the touch push.

Speaker 2 (39:30):
Last year they didn't know Yeah, if it's it's third
and one or two, Like you're can assume that's gonna.

Speaker 3 (39:35):
Can we can we talk about again?

Speaker 1 (39:37):
So we need some launder field with this touch bush.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
I agree. So last year I was I thought it
was like I think when the Packers came out first,
probably on behest of the league, you know, saying hey,
we don't want to touch push anymore. I thought that
was like like a cowardly thing just to get the
play out. But after watching it, I'm like, I think
I'm done with the touch push man, Like, well, I
want to see them run, Like just just admit what
it is. You're too successful at the play. Like nobody's

(40:01):
gonna get hurt, nothing's gonna happen. But it's too hard
to officiate as well, like just get rid of it.
Let Philadelphia feel good about themselves, saying, oh they we
we ran this so well. We had to get rid
of the play and just get back to what looks
like normal football instead of a.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
Trophies by getting like, hey, you did a really good
job with that play. If I'm the Eagles, I'm keeping
that playing anyway.

Speaker 3 (40:20):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (40:22):
When he's what I'm saying is play we gotta go out.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
I'm also saying like it's like it's too hard to initiate,
Like I sound like I'm making excuses now, but also
when it was third and one and fourth and one,
like I remember ray Lewis hitting Darren Sprolls when he
was playing for the Ravens in the backfield on like
a third or fourth and one to seal the game.
I want to see that. I don't want to see
a scrum to win the game. Chris Jones on the
other side, you know, yelling at us, hurts and whatnot.

(40:50):
I'm just saying, like that's the only game you're going
to see do it though? Is the Eagles?

Speaker 5 (40:54):
You The Eagles is the only team who really does it.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
Who can do it. Everybody's trying to replicate it.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
They can't do it.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
But the competitor, the competitor, everyone's going to think. You're
not going to stop it until one day somebody will stops.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
One day they go enough is enough and they figure
out the sauce that needs to happen to stop the
jumping over. Then and only then you let it walk
away like that is it? And for you to sit
here and say they're too good at.

Speaker 3 (41:21):
It, it's just it's the purest in me, it's the purest.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
So we're talking about Peiss is man versus man, glad,
but but to say.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
Reps, if it's man versus man, that's different. But you
you include the reps who had a horrible weekend, horrible
weekend talking about but that that pass interference against uh
Travis Hunter, that roughing the passer? Who was that against Carolina?

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (41:48):
Not against against the Cardinals? Like just horrible calls up
and down.

Speaker 10 (41:51):
But.

Speaker 5 (41:53):
Says make refereeing great again?

Speaker 3 (41:56):
When was it ever? I'm assuming and Dlaney you got that, Delane?
Would you ever be a referee? Would you ever be
a referee if they paid you? Well, here's I here's
what I think here's what I think. I'm talking a

(42:18):
farm system for retired x NFL players. You come in there,
they give you a nice salary. Your full time four
oh one k NFL will match it. You've seen the game.
You understand the speed of the game, you understand the
intent on roughing the passer and passing their ference. You
understand when there's a minute left. Like I think, we
get some x NFL players and I don't know what

(42:39):
it is. Maybe they need to play three, four or five,
whatever it may be. But you make them full time employees,
give them big salaries, getting those four to one k's,
all those Pete Rosell's everything we get. We don't know
what it means, but you see the little indicator going up. Though, yeah,
I hope I left till sixty five. I'm telling you, like,
that's what we need to have. And I think you
get more people who are around the game rather than
part time teaching yours, attorneys whatnot, who understand the game a.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
Long time job. For sure.

Speaker 5 (43:06):
It's actually.

Speaker 6 (43:09):
Actually players, no, no, it's actually NF x NFL players
going into officiating.

Speaker 5 (43:15):
That is actually.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
There's nobody who understands understand I look at the civil size.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
I'm sitting in this at this with Delainey. Could you
imagine him sitting on the sideline being like, hey, that
was good and then got bro I think so he's like, yeah,
you're probably right, Hey that's a good.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
Point, and then like literally, but hey, imagine this Jurgens
Nebraska courhust Girl of Night, Will Comptons in the back.
He sees them yanking a boy in the corner, Will grabbing.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Will is a man on the shields, He's a man.
They're in the Super Bowl fourth and there's there's an
obvious d p I and you're like, I gotta let
it go, gotta let it go.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
The only game you can't trust me to officiate is
the game.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
Okay, conflict of bitches they are? You have that in
the NFL when they get referees who post on social
media about their favorite team and Whatnot'm just a NFL
play many not us right here, Guys who had to
established career, made a little bit of money, but maybe
writing you know, the tweens of that three to five
guys looking to make some more money, Guys who want
to stay involved in the game. I think it could work.

Speaker 5 (44:17):
I'm the type of I'll be like, yo, I'm letting
y'all play this game.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
That's exactly that's my point. There is reason reason delays ahead.
Reffle Man, what is you doing? I told them I
was want them play.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
You have to take it up. There's no foul on
the place. He's a dude. Just get a yank by
his face mask, no foul.

Speaker 3 (44:36):
I'm trying to offer solutions.

Speaker 1 (44:37):
You're there, be like, hey, Delaney, Walker's head officials do businesses.
Business is being done. The first one's on.

Speaker 5 (44:42):
Hey, they're gonna love me.

Speaker 6 (44:43):
Every super Bowl you gotta get.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
You're me and my crew.

Speaker 5 (44:47):
They throw the less flash, they let you play. They
come in.

Speaker 3 (44:49):
I'm's crew right and talk to you.

Speaker 5 (44:51):
Hey, I saw that. Next time I got to throw it,
so be careful.

Speaker 3 (44:55):
Yeah. Yeah, it's just almost the same. And the quarterback Yeah,
the roughing calls. I'm gonna be on your crew on.

Speaker 6 (45:03):
The rough roughing quarterbacks. Yeah, we gotta throw those. But
everything else, I'm letting y'all play.

Speaker 1 (45:08):
You know what to do?

Speaker 2 (45:08):
Is it like Saudi Arabia doing a flag football game? Rady,
you two to be that.

Speaker 1 (45:14):
That would be awesome, Tom Brady, let us do it.

Speaker 5 (45:19):
I promise you I'll be cut.

Speaker 1 (45:23):
Point Eagles Rams Eagles Rams.

Speaker 5 (45:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
I like where we said. I like what we're saying
on this one.

Speaker 4 (45:28):
I like it too. And get rid of the touch push.
Don't get rid of the touch push unless the officiating changes.
What's the thing to you? You're you're an offensive lineman
and you you on the line?

Speaker 5 (45:35):
I was never what's the whole?

Speaker 1 (45:37):
Yeah, but like what's what's the rue?

Speaker 4 (45:39):
People are posting like the pictures from up top and
it's like all the offensive line is crossing with the center.

Speaker 6 (45:46):
Where do they have to We supposed to be like this,
it's supposed to be like a wing. But they like that,
So you're supposed to be back.

Speaker 2 (45:53):
That's crazy line of the center. Your head is on
the belt line of the center. You have to be
at least that forward. When it comes to being that up,
it's like yay, you're like if you're on the ball.
There's really no rule that I'm aware of that is like, hey,
you can't be this far forward. Nless, it's like clearly
over the line because while comes it off of the
line and you want to be back, figure out what's

(46:13):
going on.

Speaker 1 (46:14):
That's what you get A lot of tackles or like
and you're thinking, you're.

Speaker 4 (46:17):
Thinking you just can't have your head beyond the ball
or like like.

Speaker 1 (46:22):
You can look down and you can see I'm good,
but there's there's no zone where you have to be back.

Speaker 5 (46:27):
No, you can't be too far back.

Speaker 4 (46:29):
Yeah, there's nothing when I'm talking about just when I've seen,
like we're talking photos of over the top being like
all this, the offensive line is like beyond some point
in the center.

Speaker 3 (46:40):
Now, what do you think they're teaching them? I guess
I have to go back and listen, Like is Jalen
Hurts doing like a first sound type thing because you
see the guards leaving before the center, Like have they
taught the center like hey give it a give it
like a little millisec before you snap it to let
the guards get off. Because every time the guards were
getting off first that you can't tell me that was
by happenstance.

Speaker 1 (46:59):
Well then you yea guy like the guard and the tackle.

Speaker 3 (47:03):
But they're going so like I'm wondering if the center knows,
like if you get you know, a push by our
specifically the guards, maybe the tackles too, then.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
It's gotta be the middle. Middle is the only way that
play works there.

Speaker 6 (47:16):
When Kelse was there, he used to snap me before,
and they not used to him. That's why this new
center ain't snapping the last Kelse used to be like.
It was almost like he was jumping off sides when
he snapping, he and dive into the ground.

Speaker 5 (47:28):
They it's just not.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
You're in a full splitter stance. No fair dodger. But
could you imagine they do what you did? Like, hey,
you guys won that. And then twenty thirty years from now,
where there's a photo framed of two defenses in the
Super Bowl lined up like this, Someone's gonna sit back
there and be like, man, that's when football was football,
and you took that away.

Speaker 5 (47:48):
I mean football has already been. It's not football.

Speaker 3 (47:51):
I'm the one who's lobbying quarterbacks give him a little
extra when there in the ground, giving them a step.
I'm the poster boy for that, all right me?

Speaker 1 (48:01):
Yeah, how do you feel about the new kickoff rule?
How they line up everything? You hate? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (48:06):
Hate? It looks ugly.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
It looks it does I just think about the Super Bowl,
the ball being kicked off, the cameras going off, people
running back. Yeah, and it's like everyone's stationary and then
there's a zone.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
Leave it in, leave it in, leave the pushing.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
They wanted to take the kick. They wanted to take
kickoff all out of the game.

Speaker 3 (48:25):
So this is the what are the interest statistics on
this this new kicker, because I know it's coming out
a lot more.

Speaker 5 (48:30):
No one's getting hurt really though, because it's one.

Speaker 3 (48:32):
On one block that opening week. But he got his knee.

Speaker 5 (48:35):
Oh yeah yeah, one on one blocks.

Speaker 1 (48:37):
I see the kickoff lineup, like, I don't even look at.

Speaker 3 (48:42):
Running back zoom the Patriots. For that was a fun game,
I know when I talking about the Miami Patriots, but
it's bad at that point.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
One game we gotta talk about is a True Classic
Game of the Week, True Classic game of the Week.

Speaker 4 (48:53):
Every weekend's got games, but only one fits just right.
This is True Classics Game of the Week. This Game
of the Week is brought to us by True Classic.
You guys know the boys. Taylor every Thursday on ESPN
National Television is always rocking his Pima black T shirt
from True Classic Boys, also rocking the pants from True Classic,

(49:14):
the little button down short sleeve collar. Thank you man.
Got the hair going. People talking about my receiving hairline.
That's a different story for another time. Find True Classic
at Amazon and Costco, Sam's Club and Target nationwide, or
go online at trueclassic dot com. Slash busting, look good,
feel good, play good. Let's get to the game of
the week, Monday Night football, Detroit Lions at the Baltimore Ravens.

(49:38):
Right now, the Ravens are favored by five and a
half points. The over under on this game is fifty
one and a half. A lot of people say, A
lot of people's are over. A lot of people say
to take the over. I will be this show. I'll
pick a team, but I will be taking the over
in this game. Just a little personal boy there. I'll
be on the FanDuel sportsbook gap I'll hit the over. Okay,

(50:00):
how do we feel about this game?

Speaker 3 (50:01):
Clay Matthews lamar twenty four and four against NFC teams
and on Monday Night twenty two touchdowns, zero interceptions. He's
built for primetime. Here's what I'm gonna say, though, outside
of statistics, Like you look at the Lions, and I
said this last week, you looked at when the Lions
played the Packers. The Packers had more to play for.
We talked about home game here in their one and

(50:21):
five divisional record all last year, the trade for Micah.
Now you get the Lions coming home, it's their first
home game, They're coming off a tough loss. Ben Johnson
coming back. They play like world beaters, score fifty plus points.
Jared Goff, those were five touchdowns. They look like they
don't need Ben jons step. They didn't miss a step.
They looked Jerry Gouger personal, sure, but it was that

(50:44):
their super Bowl was that their you know, reason to
get up. Now we got to go back. The Lions
got to go back on the road at the Ravens.
I just I think it's still too early to make
a decision on the Lions, like what team they are
this year. Maybe it's just the Packers are just that good.
I think it's too too small of of a sample serving.
But I like the Ravens. I picked them to win

(51:05):
the Super Bowl. I picked Lamar to win MVP, and
they could very easily be two and off it weren't
for that collapse out there on Monday or Sunday Night
football whatever it was one week one. But man, I
like the Ravens. I think them going home like to
see Derek Henry get back going on. We had like
twenty something yards this past week, but I think it'll
be I'm taking the over. But I got the Ravens

(51:26):
as well.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
You don't talking about the Ravens, No, I like the Ravens.
I think the Ravens are really good. Put on the film.

Speaker 2 (51:37):
You put on the film with the Ravens and the Browns,
and it's like going into half to seven point game
then ended.

Speaker 3 (51:41):
Up divisional games. I think you throw throw out all
the stats.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
The third quarter, you get into that, they rush you
down to the goal line, end up having a false
start penalty, end up in the five. They have four
players to get it into the en zone, they can't
get it, end up having a big interception by number
two of the Ravens, and then they end up having
an explosive play and getting it in the end zone.
Then it starts a steamroll for him, Joe Flacco, like
he's getting chased down all over the place, but he's
he only had a couple of sacks and it's like

(52:06):
he's holding the ball for three four seconds. Like the
pass rush really wasn't you know, unless they're bringing extra guys,
what was really coming in. The thing I like about
the Lions is them in twelve personnel. I think obviously
of San La Porter, but you also have brock Wright,
who's a guy that like he's going to be your blocker,
your first and foremost. You're Delanney Walker winner the forty
nine ers, Like he's going to put his face, his
hand on the ground, his face in your face, over

(52:26):
and over again. Then he sneaks off and gets himself
a couple of touchdowns. But the movement in the pocket
of Jared Goff, his ability to put the ball in
the place he needs to be. With Almond Ross Saint Brown,
I love the way that offense operated, and it's like.

Speaker 1 (52:41):
Okay, we checked the box.

Speaker 2 (52:43):
Everyone kind of calmed down about this offense, and it's like,
now you have to go play his jogger. Notut the Ravens,
who are the best put together team in the AFC.
And he looked at the Lions and their defense, and
early in that game, when the Bears are running the
ball from a perimeter standpoint outside the tackles, they were
having success. The coaching staff making in game adjustments. Before
even half, you see them charge to run those perimeters,

(53:06):
those tackle pin pull schemes. Brian Burns thirty two, comes in,
puts his head on the ball, turnover right there, and
that's when it starts to steamroll. That's what I love
about that coaching staff is like they're not waiting to
have time to make adjustments. They're waiting to, Hey, we'll
see if these two series what we have and make
adjustments accordingly. And so I like the Lions in this game.
I like the Lions a lot. I think I'm rocking

(53:30):
Lamar on primetime.

Speaker 4 (53:31):
Yeah, because because the big the big thing too with
the Ravens, like they turn it on like in the
fourth quarter of the second half, Like you know, the
urgency in that building right now is how do we
start fast? How do we get going in the first
half and play against the tough Detroit Lights team. It's
like who even knows what Detroit is going to be
this year? It's like do they play when they play
the juggernaut teams, they kind of fall. When they play

(53:52):
the bad teams, they whoop them. Are they kind of
in the middle tier? Like are they going to continue
this success against the Baltimore Ravens defense. I don't think
they have a whole lot of success against their defense.
And I also see like a big sense of urgency
to come out hot and start fast versus bringing this
game into the fourth quarter when we start blowing everybody
out right. And again it's like the statue pulling Lamar
Jackson in prime time. I just think Monday night football

(54:14):
in Baltimore, in Baltimore, and I like Baltimore to cover here.

Speaker 5 (54:18):
And then you gotta look at Derek Harry.

Speaker 6 (54:19):
He comes out quote we'll see on Sunday, gets twenty
something yards, no touchdown.

Speaker 5 (54:24):
I feel like he's bumbled again too.

Speaker 3 (54:26):
Oh well, maybe that guy in his head.

Speaker 6 (54:30):
So I just see this is like a game he's like,
I'm about to show everybody what I got.

Speaker 5 (54:35):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (54:36):
Yeah, but you felt that this week too.

Speaker 6 (54:38):
I thought it would have been against the Browns. But
the Browns do got a good defense. We acting like
they not.

Speaker 2 (54:43):
Miles Garrett, the best pass talking Garrett, a good defense.

Speaker 6 (54:50):
You feed off of that. You feed off your defense
feed off you know how like when you got that
dog that's out there just grinding.

Speaker 5 (54:56):
You kind of like shit, I'm next, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 6 (54:59):
You feel that like that's how I used to be
on offense, Like when Derek or DeMarco used to bust.

Speaker 5 (55:04):
I'm like, it's my turn. Give me the ball. I
want the ball. You got to you know what I'm saying.
Right that, don't you feel I have a.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Chance to bust the touchdown?

Speaker 4 (55:20):
It's like, man, ain't nobody catches? Hey, coach, give me
the ball. Yeah, he was excited about that play.

Speaker 2 (55:25):
I wasn't a best receiver, I think statistically ever, no
one hundred percent catch to the.

Speaker 1 (55:30):
Ball turn into a touchdown. That is not true.

Speaker 2 (55:37):
You were a hell of a weapon, but like percentage,
I blow your ship out of the water.

Speaker 6 (55:42):
If I did trick plays like you too, I will
score touch It was a trick play.

Speaker 5 (55:46):
It was a gimmick, but he blocked first.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
It did ran out for it's ever heard of a
wide delay before allright, were you going to Ravens.

Speaker 5 (55:56):
Yeah, of course, Ravens.

Speaker 3 (55:57):
Raves.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
Ravens.

Speaker 3 (55:58):
Ravens look great when they're on time. When they're on time, Right,
there was a.

Speaker 2 (56:03):
Couple in that game where it wasn't and like, yeah,
Aiden hutches in. It is not Miles Garrett eight hundred
had one seconds game. A couple of pressures, but one
of those pressures was a bomb that turned into an interception.
Like they've got they can get pressure. They have that
Campbell kid who's running all over the field side on
the sideline. He's getting his nose bloody. With the offensive line,
I'm not in love with the Ravens offensive line. I

(56:25):
think the Ravens officer line knows they have two aliens
in the backfield that can kind of make things happen
for them.

Speaker 1 (56:30):
But I'm not in love with the grit there.

Speaker 5 (56:32):
I mean, they did play the Bears.

Speaker 1 (56:33):
Who's who's the Ravens' best rusher? No disrespect that Kyle
v Annoy.

Speaker 3 (56:37):
He has he's right now.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
He hurt.

Speaker 2 (56:40):
Yeah, he had twelve half saxsast year, but golf and
it's fucked up.

Speaker 6 (56:45):
The dude got twelve sacks, more sacks than I ain't
gonna say his name, but he played for Green Bay.

Speaker 5 (56:51):
He got way more money than him. And this man been.

Speaker 6 (56:53):
Doing it consistently for thirteen years.

Speaker 1 (56:56):
How many times he had twelve a half sacksons career?

Speaker 5 (56:58):
Maybe two?

Speaker 1 (57:01):
But he's I like Calvin, a friend of the show.

Speaker 5 (57:05):
The show.

Speaker 1 (57:07):
I like Calvin.

Speaker 2 (57:08):
Kyle Vanois is great at taking advantage of opportunity when
the players, but like from a one on one like
you are you fearing him like a Miles Garret Max Crosby.

Speaker 6 (57:18):
No, you're saying it like he the dude at the
bar that got to get the drunk chick, Like he
gotta take advantage of opportunity, to.

Speaker 1 (57:28):
Take advantage of.

Speaker 2 (57:30):
He understands the game at a very high level to
where he knows where the ball is going to be. Like,
I have a lot of respect for he's smart. Athletically,
we're not talking about.

Speaker 4 (57:39):
No, he's not athletic, right, like you're talking about an
elite roster on Baltimore. You're not sitting there circling Calvin
or you got a little defense. We're still circling Michael
Parsons even though he's not even playing every step of
the game.

Speaker 6 (57:53):
You know that when he come in, we need to know,
Like with this guy, they're gonna be like man, they're
gonna be like, hey, he got a high, high motor.

Speaker 5 (57:59):
He ever gives a.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
Disagree, disagree, He's He's a very opportunistic player.

Speaker 1 (58:05):
He knows how to play the game.

Speaker 5 (58:06):
So you say he give he don't he take plays off.

Speaker 2 (58:09):
I think he knows when the plays with the opposite
way of him. I think he knows when this That's
what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (58:15):
He did like a guy that never takes a playoff.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
Is Aiden Hudgerson, a Masx Crosby, a Miles Gear who's
just like they're just a bull in a China shop
over and over again. You look at Kyle Vanoy, like
if they like run like a Randaller or Lamar, you know,
with the line rolls and they fake the handoff, they
roll back the other way and he's in the front
side of that play. Yeah, Like you could go to
the wide on the on the screen and see that
he's jogging. And it's not a disrespectful I truly mean

(58:39):
this is like he knows when his opportunity is there,
when he knew he He's a guy that like knows
when the line sliding, knowing there's four sliding away, you
have a one on one isolated.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
Pass rush here. He knows. Good guy, a good neck
up guy.

Speaker 2 (58:52):
And I have a lot of respect for that and
and what he's been able to do. But you're not
You're not putting on the film and going fuck man, knowing.

Speaker 5 (59:01):
This week he can change the game.

Speaker 3 (59:04):
Well, he's not playing this week, so we could just.

Speaker 6 (59:07):
But let's can we be honest and say, if we
put all of us right now, we put up game film,
we'll have you can find at least one or two
plays we were either walking, jogging or is.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
This all the back half of our career? You don't
find a pleasantly out of gas. I'm still making plays
when I'm out of gas.

Speaker 3 (59:25):
You look at the last week, that was one of
the worst highlights.

Speaker 4 (59:30):
I'm still productive even when I'm doing and I'm actually
it just looks like I'm this man is running a
five four.

Speaker 3 (59:38):
He's not interesting getting the ball whatsoever? Buddy, who is it?
Josh punch Taylor's friend punches it out and you just
fall on and get the crowd starts roll. Yeah, like
so was it in slow motion?

Speaker 2 (59:53):
Told me opportunities to player knew the player was he was,
he would go get it, he was.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
I'm a dude.

Speaker 4 (01:00:00):
That what de Laney was saying. He tries hard, he
never gives up.

Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
To play man. You're really trying. Good for you, You're
trying to, like a.

Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
Good job man to play over effort wise, though, going
back to my effort was low. We need all right,
we'll get we'll get we'll get back to what.

Speaker 7 (01:00:27):
He has two solo tackles this year and zero sax.

Speaker 3 (01:00:32):
Two games. Yeah, he heard two games and he didn't
play last game, so he's played one game. He probably
got hurt during that game.

Speaker 1 (01:00:37):
So let's this.

Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
Is this is not this is not an indictment on
his character and his effort. Like he is a great
football player. I believe that, but I'm just saying, like
we're talking about tears here and he's not in that
one elunteer and I know he's going to see this,
and I feel bad.

Speaker 5 (01:00:54):
I respect, but your effort.

Speaker 6 (01:00:57):
My effort was never low unless it was a backside
play and it was already past the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 4 (01:01:06):
Okay, all right, listen, guys, we're all here now, well
done playing the game.

Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
Yeah, Michaelo Boultra has got this idea that we love
play for an Ultra. It's all about those little friendly
competition when there's an Ultra on the line.

Speaker 4 (01:01:22):
It's like if the boys are playing big, Yeah, I
take you down. I claim my Michelobultra.

Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
Right, and everybody knows if we were to play pig,
that would never happen. That beer would be mine. But
that's exactly my point. It doesn't matter if it's touchdowns, hoops,
ping pong, corn hole, whatever. Bragging rights taste better when
you have an ice cool Ultra Superior is worth playing
for michelob Ultra Superior light beer.

Speaker 1 (01:01:42):
Hey, little bonus, little bonus.

Speaker 4 (01:01:45):
Game I forgot to talk about was a Sunday night
football game, Chiefs at Giants.

Speaker 6 (01:01:49):
No one cares Chiefs favorite by five and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
The over under on this game is forty four and
a half.

Speaker 3 (01:01:58):
Chiefs on start knowing three. We said they weren't starting
going too Actually I did say they were starting doing
Chiefs can't start owing three, they won't start oh.

Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
And three three and against the Giants' is done. Yeah,
it's done.

Speaker 3 (01:02:09):
They're still a wildcard team.

Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
I know.

Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
Were you saying earlier?

Speaker 5 (01:02:12):
You said there they won't make the playoff?

Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
Seems to start oh and to over the last and
how many.

Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
Teams have won two Super Bowls in a row? What's
the stats on that? Or been to three Super Bowls
in a row.

Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
But we ain't talking about the past. You're talking about right.

Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
Now, No, you are talking about the past, because you're
bringing up.

Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
Literally I'm not talking with the past. Yeah, but there's
no data on how many super bowl in how.

Speaker 3 (01:02:36):
Many there has to be because the Chiefs just played
in three super Bowls after they said it's impossible.

Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
They never started owing two, they've started owing to fourteen.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
He said, bro, I'm man, we're so like, I'm asking
what the statistics are if you're saying it's damn near
impossible twelve and a half percent to make the playoffs
when you start ohing two, I'm asking it be three
four years ago when you say, hey, what are the
chances the Chiefs make the super Bowl the next three years?

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
Four years ago, I think everybody was like, probably pretty high.

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
Yeah or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
Statistically teams listart owen three since nineteen ninety was just
thirty five years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
It's two point eight percent.

Speaker 5 (01:03:10):
Okay, oh nice? Did you ahead?

Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Or sounding myself like it was always talking about what
three is?

Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
A pop? Stuck right here?

Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
I still think the Chiefs are I picked the Chiefs
to win the division.

Speaker 5 (01:03:27):
But you said that earlier though, right what that.

Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
The Chiefs is gonna win?

Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
You know?

Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
I said I picked them to in the division. It's
looking tough right now at O and two what's the
chance of them winning their division?

Speaker 5 (01:03:37):
Oh that's a good one.

Speaker 3 (01:03:38):
Four okay, all right, so there's a chance I got
the I mean, listen, I'm not gonna jump ship. But
like it looks like the Chargers are you know, it
looks like the right but I got would be two.

Speaker 4 (01:03:51):
Now, if they didn't get them, saying.

Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
You scored one points in both games, they'd be.

Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
The Chiefs are the Look at the two teams they played.
They lost by one score. Whereas I believe before that
when we were doing our futures picks, you had said,
like they can't keep winning like this, and perhaps these
are those two teams. But are these two games like
they play the Eagles, they play the Chargers, who look
phenomenal to phenomenal teams, Like, let them play some giants,

(01:04:22):
you know, and stack those wins up.

Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
I shoot versus Russell was fun.

Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
The wall, that was just defense by Dallas.

Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
I just think neighbors one hundred hundred and seventy six
yards watch.

Speaker 3 (01:04:33):
That was a fun game to watch.

Speaker 1 (01:04:34):
Russell Wilson out of nowhere, dangerous.

Speaker 2 (01:04:37):
Rus wasn't a nowhere like Russell. Wilson has always been
known to feel like a beautiful, beautifuld ball.

Speaker 4 (01:04:41):
But like what I'm saying the conversations last week and
throwing Jackson Dart, yes speaking, yeah, when are you throwing
Jackson Dart? And then he goes off for over four
hundred the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (01:04:50):
Because I got the Chiefs and I think the Giants
are one more lost closer to starting Jackson Dart. I
don't see the Chiefs is in this one.

Speaker 2 (01:05:03):
Yeah, I think I agree with everything you're saying. I
think Russell Wilson bought himself some time with that last game.
I think it's more of like defense on the Cowboys
side breaking down a lot more than Russell Wilson wheeling
and dealing like you still don't have a run game,
you're still like that.

Speaker 4 (01:05:18):
That was Chiefs got a better pass rush, they got
a better second level.

Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
They have a better DC.

Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
If one thing the Chiefs has to live by right
now while they still have Rice out and all these
guys like they've got to have a defense is reliable.
That's showing they can do that consistently. They did it
all last year, they did the year before, Like Spags
is not going to have these miscues with the Giants.
Like but to me, this is not about you know,
the Chiefs covering minus five and a half, Like, Chiefs
need to cover a big Chiefs need to have explosive

(01:05:45):
plays down the field. Chiefs need to figure out a
way to get tough and like run the ball efficiently
and like take shuts in the field, be productive, like
show like hey, we're still here because you go and win.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
This game comes down to a field goal.

Speaker 3 (01:05:58):
You know, the Chiefs were there last game. If it
weren't for that that interception on the goal line, what
was the score before that? Before that play that would
have tied it. And I'm saying they're going in a
little angle route, Travis can't get his head around fast enough.
Beautiful pass by Mahome. Mahomes is still Mahomes Still. All
I'm saying is they go to tie it right there. Meanwhile,
you can tell the mantra of the Eagles in the

(01:06:18):
second half is like, let's not screw this up. I mean,
I don't how many times Jalen hurts through the ball.
I threw for one hundred wins one hundred nineteen yards
a game. So they're just trying to play good situational
clock management team ball just to win games. As opposed
to doing what they did last year. Run for two
hundred yards, Jalen scoring his feed, Like, right now it

(01:06:39):
looks like they're playing not to lose, then they already win.
I don't want to talking about the Eagles here, but
I think the Chiefs it just shows how close they are.
I know that we're talking about scoring more points, but
like very easily could be two and er right now
if they score more point. Okay, but there's still that time.

Speaker 1 (01:06:59):
Un that's why we got you for the show. That
kind of that kind of.

Speaker 3 (01:07:04):
Gifts apparently are done.

Speaker 1 (01:07:06):
Now you're you're saying I'm done.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Maybe if you were a little nicer than me, I'll
get you You the cheese curts.

Speaker 6 (01:07:15):
Yeah, but he tends to if Kelsey makes that catch
me talking about different Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
But there's still a lot of time.

Speaker 3 (01:07:23):
Yeah, but opening up a little bit more, That's all
I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
Right.

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
Here's what worries me about the Chiefs being successful the
rest of this year is when you get into situations
that you are right now, where you don't have a
lot of weapons in the perimeter, you have to run
the ball. If you're a team that has kind of
you're running the ball has been these like really short
quick throws, which no one does a better.

Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
Than Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
Like toughness is a thing that's earned, like a callous
and you can't just go and be like, Okay, now
we're going to run the ball down your throat. That's
not something you can just go and do. And so
that makes me really worried about this offense in a
big way. I think the defense is gonna keep them
in games always, but like to think we can get
another super Bowl team.

Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
It's still squeak, no big big.

Speaker 6 (01:08:04):
I mean, I want to take the chief, but I
gotta moved a line on this that I gotta moved
a line.

Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
What happened? Do you guys are falling asleep eating cheese?

Speaker 3 (01:08:13):
You're trying to move the line you I can't.

Speaker 5 (01:08:17):
I just I can't. I don't feel if you hit it.

Speaker 6 (01:08:22):
I don't so comfortable taking the cheasee that mine is
five and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
Good takes Good.

Speaker 6 (01:08:30):
Said, we can feel comfortable taking the cheese five and
a half.

Speaker 5 (01:08:33):
I just don't feel you got the giants.

Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
And a half.

Speaker 4 (01:08:40):
Right.

Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
So this is this is one on one on one right,
I'm looking at something and people are saying Chiefs are
going to win this game by more than five points.

Speaker 1 (01:08:47):
I know, and you're going I don't like that, So
then you would take the other.

Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
Team who you can take to lose by less than
five points.

Speaker 5 (01:08:55):
Why is your ship squeaking?

Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
That's the protein in it? Look it up, Look it up.
It's the protein in there. So this is this is
this is cheddar right here. Before they press it into
a mold, they just they take off the curds off
the top. Talking about the protein structure. When you start
biting into it, it's got that squeak. I'm telling you, bro,
this is Giants are Chiefs from Wisconsin.

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
This cheese puts my fake chee. It's gotta have something
for the word going off.

Speaker 5 (01:09:21):
Giants plus five and a half?

Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Here you go here, I was ones actually go with you?

Speaker 5 (01:09:30):
Huh, there's to go with you?

Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
How about this bet the boys parlay?

Speaker 5 (01:09:35):
Though?

Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
How about it? How about this bet the boys parlay
last week? Clump, we didn't do well this one.

Speaker 3 (01:09:43):
Hey, Jalen got his touchdown. You should have stayed with
scored and then he had a great game.

Speaker 5 (01:09:54):
He had a great I know.

Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
It was I'm still rocking with Javonte Williams.

Speaker 3 (01:09:57):
So we're doubling down on beyond this week. Taylor, Yeah,
double all right.

Speaker 1 (01:10:01):
You first off, r y A Shakers drafting him. He's
been crushing for.

Speaker 5 (01:10:08):
Nuts.

Speaker 1 (01:10:08):
Yeah, we're chewing up.

Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
He'd been going nuts touring on.

Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
We have two guys are suspended still, so we're in
a good position. Robinson a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
You mean give me almen raw? I mean last week,
I play the odds, brother, I mean, he looks so good.
He looks so good, like when they're on time. You're
talking about Ravens' if they don't have a pass rush,
like he's wide receiver number one there, he's gonna get
his chances. They're throwing giving him a ten plus attempts
a game, like, yeah, if you're playing the odds. Wait,

(01:10:37):
did I just say I am playing the odds? You
put the odds, brother, the odds of that. He's bawling
the odds of that hill ball up because he's playing
so well. Give me a bra. Who do I have
in week one? Did I hit on that? Thank you?

Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
You've missed yet.

Speaker 5 (01:10:55):
He did not score?

Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
Sure that wasn't week two.

Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
This week.

Speaker 3 (01:11:01):
That's because Kittle got hurt. I switched from DeVante. He didn't.
But Kittle got hurt. So that's not really my fault.
So I'm in raw. I got him this week, Josh pay.

Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
It's not your fault, their fault.

Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
Well, now you got hurt, like I didn't see that
gonna happen. That's white boys. We get soft tissue injured.
I had never had a soft tish. Well you didn't.
You just weren't explosive enough.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
Well that's weird.

Speaker 3 (01:11:25):
You were just like a four eight right, Hey, you
know what the two first stuff?

Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
Don't do that, Hey, don't take away by two thousand
and nine combine.

Speaker 3 (01:11:38):
Check this out for explosiveivity if that's a word. Hey,
you know who ran the fastest ten yards split at
the Combine amongst all positions. Percy Harvin one four not
one four eight ran the second fastest. Your boy right here,
one four eight, ten yards split off the line. It's
got me drafted in the first round. That's potential.

Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
Your lesson to.

Speaker 3 (01:11:59):
I'm just saying you're an explosive guy.

Speaker 6 (01:12:01):
I'm an explosive I got I got Jonathan Taylor, So sorry,
what was your forty explosiveness?

Speaker 1 (01:12:11):
Your score is a nine point six eight, Hey, that's
pretty good.

Speaker 5 (01:12:15):
What's that is amazing?

Speaker 7 (01:12:16):
That's yours.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
You're an elite athlete. Your combine. Make sure make sure
make sure you in the mic, your combine.

Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
It is your relative athletics score nine point six eight clay, which.

Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
Is that's that's elite.

Speaker 7 (01:12:29):
Actually Taylor Luwan's ten point zero? What actually can be
just throwing that out?

Speaker 3 (01:12:36):
What was Jake Matthews not that high?

Speaker 2 (01:12:39):
Listen, Jake's Jake's still playing, so like, obviously you take
him six overall, but like you, we ain't doing combine numbers.

Speaker 6 (01:12:46):
You knowwhere we'll talk about because I'm not the wrong way.

Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
He was eyeing me up to I remember the combine.
He was looking me up and down. I said, hey,
go ahead and watch this kid.

Speaker 7 (01:12:57):
Jake Matthews was nine point five.

Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
Man, he's doing you're twelve. Yeah, you're twelve.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
You were linked and they wanted me back. I just
said I didn't want it. You know they want me
said I don't want to play no more.

Speaker 3 (01:13:12):
Can we get some more risk? Or what was will?
Did they have an n A in there? Or what
did you go to combine?

Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
I just he goes, hey, you were elite man.

Speaker 5 (01:13:24):
It was nankey. What was Will's n A?

Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
I didn't know that. I didn't mean disspect. I didn't
know if you went to the combine or not.

Speaker 1 (01:13:32):
Eight oh the sevens.

Speaker 3 (01:13:34):
What's the percentages of a guy who was seven point
two eight lasting ten years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:13:40):
Rascore? Damn?

Speaker 7 (01:13:45):
Delaney's was seven point two two.

Speaker 1 (01:13:47):
I am Will got a better rascal than you.

Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Wait, wait a minute, wait a minute, this guy squeaky cheese,
didn't Hero said again?

Speaker 7 (01:13:55):
Wills was seven point two eight, Delaney's seven point two two.

Speaker 3 (01:13:58):
I think when you transferred like there was listen, I
only ran the fucking forty at the comb Why didn't
you do anything else?

Speaker 5 (01:14:05):
Because I was I was a receiver. They wanted me
to be a tight end receiver.

Speaker 6 (01:14:10):
Yeah, Wade coming out two thirty eight, Wow, and they
wanted me to do tight end ship and I'm like,
hell no, I'm just gonna run the forty and they
got me drafted.

Speaker 7 (01:14:20):
You lost to a guy just shoveling cheese in his
mouth right now?

Speaker 3 (01:14:24):
Who who he's retired?

Speaker 5 (01:14:26):
Who was he drafted?

Speaker 6 (01:14:28):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:14:28):
Okay, clearly a mistake in less than nine years. Clearly
they were wrong.

Speaker 5 (01:14:32):
They obviously wasn't wrong about me.

Speaker 7 (01:14:34):
Delaney did run the four fort nine four four nine.

Speaker 5 (01:14:37):
At the combine official official?

Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
Would you run four or five four? I think, Hey,
after the ten yards, I looked away, Oh like I
never had a round forty yards. I ran ten yards
of the courter.

Speaker 5 (01:14:49):
You know you're I know, you know you not?

Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
Who're out there now?

Speaker 5 (01:14:54):
The people who taking those charts are fucking.

Speaker 3 (01:14:58):
Same PFT people.

Speaker 5 (01:14:59):
Yeah, Clay ran what you ran?

Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
Ford, But you're two tenths of the second faster than
when I was three hundred and twelve pounds.

Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
Would you wait to combine?

Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
We think you're two forty seventy pounds more than you.

Speaker 3 (01:15:14):
That ten yards split? Bro, you have a line six days?
What was his ten years? Ten yards split?

Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
Ain't running short?

Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
No, no, no, you're reading. You're reading from the combine,
the US. You're reading from the product.

Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
You're reading from the pro Dame.

Speaker 3 (01:15:37):
Bro, that's Wikipedia.

Speaker 5 (01:15:39):
You're here, question my gangster.

Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
Get I want to hear this.

Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
For real?

Speaker 3 (01:15:46):
Hey wait, what was him?

Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
What was him? One? Six seven?

Speaker 2 (01:15:48):
They're both wrong, it's not oh so he's it's the
second faster me on the ten and according to Will,
I'm pretty quick.

Speaker 3 (01:15:53):
It's not that's wrong. The Internet's wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:15:55):
The Internet is wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
The Internet's wrong on that one. Hey, Will's a dog
delay any fastest. Fuck, you're pretty good and I was fast. Like,
that's pretty good according to the stats. I'm better, bro
like you. Probably you probably moderate your own Wikipedia page
right there.

Speaker 2 (01:16:11):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
