Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another episode of the Locker Room. I'm will
Compton them here with Josh Paid Taylorlwan Boys Rivalry week.
Throw the data, throw everything out the window. This is
all about pride. Maybe you're a fan somewhere thinking your
team doesn't have a shot. Say you're all Mississippi Sate,
Mississippi State fan out there. For some reason, you think
you don't have a shot this week. You have a
shot with all the drama over around Lane Kippin, there's

(00:21):
a shot Bam Oliburn. Maybe you're an Auburn fan right
now thinking you have no shot. Bam is playing to
get in the SEC title game. You have a shot.
Auburn Texas A and m Texas gonna be fireworks. Vandy
Tennessee is gonna be fireworks. And then we have the game.
Looking at my guy over there, Taylor, the only one
that matters to a certain somebody. It is gonna be

(00:42):
the most exciting game of the weekend. You may also
maybe you're a Georgia Tech fan thinking you might have
not have a shot. You don't have a shot against Georgia.
We have sixteen games we were breaking down today. Here's
their standings from last week all three and two. We're
all sitting there right around here, so what do we do.
We're gonna go. We're gonna throw sixteen games in the machine.
Let's figure it out this weekend. If you are watching

(01:02):
right now, make sure you are subscribed. If you are
listening on audio, Google, Amazon, Spotify, Apple, just make sure
you are following this channel. Leave comments, big hugs, shiny kisses.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I know you're gearing up for Thanksgiving, You're hitting the
grocery store, you're stocking up on seasons, maybe plotting or
Black Friday pickups. By the way, blackfrid will have one
of those, but you do not forget boys. We started
a weekend of college football ahead of us, and nothing
goes better with college football than a Boost with the
Boys profit Boost Token from FanDuel.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Guys, use your profit boost token, use bills your college
football parlay. Place that boosted bet. With your PBT, you're
able to shift the odds for a larger payout, and
we've seen some pretty crazy results this year.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
For example, Josh Bate, for example, we've got an eight
leg parlay twenty three eighty four odds.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
It's a payout of.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Twenty four thou eighty three dollars and seventy cents thanks
to a crystal ball at and a Booster with the
Boys profit boost token.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Visit fandom dot com slash busting to get a look
at this weekend's games and start game planning your parlay today.
Happy Thanksgiving, Happy.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, big odds. You brought it in your best
friend today.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Yeah you said it's rivalry week, right, Yeah, you said
this is the week you throw out all the numbers,
you throw out all the data, and immediately I bring
in numbers and data the models here this week three
and two. Last week could have been four and two,
which we can talk about in a second. But three
and two I got back over the hump, and I
leaned on the model last week, but I leaned on
it from memory this week.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I mean, we got to create some separation. It's Tuesday. Also,
we usually oose on Wednesdays. Last week, Josh Pate was like,
old Josh Pate does this. This Josh Pat's going here.
This Josh Pay is model Josh Pay. And I like that.
That's good.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah, I switched the thing up. You've been two and
three for every single week, and now look at you.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
I went moneyball last week. Yeah, and we could have been.
Did you go pait you Georgia Tech?

Speaker 3 (03:37):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I went You guys want Georgia Tech. I went Georgia Tech.
I went Georgia Tech as well.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
But when you watched the game kickoff, did you immediately
have regrets like I did when I looked.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
At the game on the thing? I hope the same
thing is when the game came on, I'm not watching this.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yeah, that's exactly what I thought. And here's another thing.
When the ball kicked off, did you think the same
thing I did? Immediate regret? Well, I got no interest
in this. I gotta be honest with you. Were good?

Speaker 3 (04:00):
No?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Oh yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Hey, by the way, guys. I got coffees for a block, uh,
courtesy of Lindsay.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
But earlier in the week they're like, hey, we're gonna
go over SMU. We're over a Littleville. Yep.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
So Tuesday night I got the computer, I got the
double chins out.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
I'm looking.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I'm trying to find as much data as possibly can
because I don't have something that can just plug stuff
in and just say, Okay, this is my answer.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I did the old fashioned way. You should get one
of these, Yeah, I should. I want to get one
of them.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
And I'm like, okay, I simu is my answer. That's
where I'm gonna go for the game. I'll wake up
at seven am and I had a text from Clump
being like, Hey, we're gonna go pick Georgia Tech. Are
you good with this? Josh and Will already said yes.
And then you had a text that said Josh already
said yes, and I.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Said yes because I just assumed both of you had
already said yes.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
God bless the wow.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
What was the clump, what was the logic behind the shift?
What was the swerve for microphone?

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Just felt like, you know, it's gonna be a great game.
And Pitt was gonna upset Georgia Tech. I thought you
guys just locked in. Luckily Will did take them money
line and did hit the pick. But SMU Louisville's terrible game.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
I'll tell you exactly what happened. Monday.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I go up to him with the sheet and I go,
why are we going over SMU Louisville. And he's like, well,
there's not a whole lot of great games this weekend.
I go, all right, we can just takeether goes. Well,
then we won't have as many games. It's like, yeah,
we'll have four games to talk about. And then that
was of the conversation and it ends up. I get
a text on Wednesday morning that is seven am, two
hours before we shoot the show.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
That is exactly how it went down. I'm driving to
work and I start sweating. As I'm driving, I'm like, man,
maybe we shouldn't pick that game. I think he's right.
And then I sent the text out to everyone and yes, sorry, if.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
We wouldn't, if we would only have four, we'd be
all be sitting here too, and too, there's nothing worse
like this. When we get Rivalry week, we get separation
Saturday once again, because we have what sixteen games. Thank
you very much. I appreciate that this is eighth in
the respect. Let's just throw darts at a board. Courtesy
of Josh bay Model.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Wow, this is gonna be Listen, we can do this
show as we find Week fourteen, Robert Wie Week, there's
only one game on this like that matters.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
There's a little one game one. I'll give it.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I'll give a point five as well for Iowa Nebraska.
The way George Kittle treated you on national television. That
is crazy.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
I'm sitting there, it's I forget what time it is,
maybe about ten thirty at night, and I'm studying for
these games, and I think I'm looking up because I
got a lot of fun facts about some of these rabbits,
some good some good history. And I'm sitting there and
I'm breaking down U n C NC State, trying to
find a little nugget. And all of a sudden, my
TV sitting at volume eight and I see Scott Van
Pelton and all I hear is like, I know you

(06:29):
want to address your buddy from Nebraska. We'll get into
that later this show. And I just like look over
to the TV. What the is he really about to
turn it all the way up to thirty two. Sit
there and wait, sit there and wait just for him
to say it. Just for him. I was like, I
know he's gonna come with some heat against Nebraska. George
Kittle did a great job. He cut a great promo.
That was a WW type promo. But you know he

(06:52):
loves Yeah. Is there anything you'd like to say back
to Jordan in this moment. We'll find out come come Friday,
because he's setting himself up in a bad way. Was
that we got He's in there talking about the Penn State.
You guys lose to Penn State by thirty and I'm
thinking in my head, you think we practiced one rep
last week against Penn State? Like this entire focus these
last two weeks has been out on iowall football. The

(07:13):
scout team was actually just drawing up for IOWAY. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Yeah, what Penn State was to Nebraska last week? It
was sort of like the Illinois Eastern Illinois to Alabama. Yeah,
you know, like you're Samford to Texas A and M.
It's just a tune up week.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah that that was a meaningless game and we approached
it that way. Oh, you like to get an oar
doozy approach. Yeah, there we go. They beat us by
one hundred. Yeah, you don't give a shit you did.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
You did take Nebraska as a lock last week, however,
irrelevant last week's because.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
I put it. He still put it in our show.
I'm just a fan. I'm like, yeah, we're probably gonna
mop this team. And then I find out afterwards, Oh,
we didn't practice any reps against.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Because you didn't make yourself the story. You stayed out
of their business last week.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yeah. Like, I'm gonna do me and I'm right with
the boys all day. Twenty four, seven sixty.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
The funniest thing you've said this throughout this entire Iowa
Penn State doesn't matter is the scouting thing. Because Iowa's
playbook is about this density. So for you guys to
take an extra week of scouting, the same four plays
they run.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Yeah, and then it's just drill, phy, physicality, drill.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
They have three runs and then three more runs at
the exact same blocking scheme with the quarterback running the ball.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
All they need to do is break one, because that's
what they did last year. They broke one play. I
think it was a screen to the running back. They
took to the house the biggest play, their only play
the game. They ended up beating this That might be
the most boring game. And I don't mean that disrespectfully.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Yeah, look like you just got to play great defense
and if whoever scores three first.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
I would Nebraska. This Friday is for the Sikos. Like
to watch punts, They want to watch defense. We need
Nebraska's run defenses show up because it's matchup and the
trenches is it's scary hours.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
But yeah, because they got a good guard, the good
guard and tackle that are like, we're all big ten
last year, I think with like all American preseason as well.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Yeah, it'll be fun. Iowa Hate week, Iowa Hate Week.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
So I guess there's one and a half games.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
I got a couple bones to pick with Josh. Where
we get good, I'll sit back the trouble job he
did with Lane Kiffin. A fan of it or not
a fan of it? Not a fan?

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Okay, explain to me why because I fell for it. Okay,
let's talk. You want to talk as if Josh is
not here right now?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Or do you want to add we can we can
do that. I look at Josh Payton and this is
the this is my north star of college football information.
Did you hold him to such a high standard. I've
been following this man for what two three years now? Yeah,
I've been I've been following that man for two three
years now, and I'm in the loure. I'm in his
twitter verse like I'm in the I'm in the know

(09:45):
with the jokes. Yes, I'm a fan. I see when
haters say stuff and I'm thinking myself, I know what
he's going to do here, and he does it. Like
I just I feel like I know this man's playbook.
So when he came out and tweeted whatever he tweeted
about Lane Kiffin, like I just found out where he's going,
all I gotta say is Wow, whatever it was, I'm like,
if there's one man in this game that would know

(10:06):
that answer and then would feel comfortable enough to tweet
something like that, it would be Josh Payton. So I'm
thinking this dude, No, So I text him like, where's
he going? Not a response? Same hit the tweets. A
couple of times. I was just like, Hey, where's he going?
And he hits me with whatever I said on Busting yesterday. Yeah,
read the text let me see here. Just take a minute.

(10:27):
I'm looking this up. As I take a minute to
look again, make sure you are subscribed to this channel.
Make sure you're leaving comments throughout this episode. We're gonna
have a lot of fun, talk a lot of ball,
he responded. When people tell you Link Kiffin is the
world's best show, I'll always remember there's at least one better.
Can I ask you a specific question?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yeah, between remember and theirs? Is there four dots or
three dots?

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Four dots? Okay, so you got the same one.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
So I saw that, saw it, and I have not
like I have heard whispers about this Josh pet guy
college foot bahlahlah blah, mostly from you and other people
for the last couple of years, but until Georgia I'm
sorry Oregon versus Ohio State last year when we met
him and like, Yo, you got to meet.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Josh P I'm like, why do I keep knowing?

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yo?

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Get the aviator. He's the dude in college football. You
got to meet him? So you like wing me over, Josh,
you da have him up. He is my boy. Tami, Hey,
good to meet you.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
And since that moment, I've been kind of following Josh
Pate and so but truly, I'm like, I'm not as
like in the world of the twitter s fere, but
I like, I watched him afar and I'm like, Wow,
this dude really is a man that holds himself above
college football like he is like when college football is
in a scared situation. They looked at Josh Pate.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
But also good enough, also good enough to know doesn't
take himself so seriously that he will get in the
gutter with some people and have some good troll jobs.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Perfect balance of serious and focus to where a head
coach would look at him like I'm gonna give this
information because I trust him, but still like turns around
is like is a boy in one hand.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
You feel a level of comfort when he walks into
a room, got a lot of influence.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
That's the perfect amount of balance. So I saw Josh's tweet.
I screenshot it. I said, top five clickbait, dot dot dot.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Where's he? Where's he headed?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
I emoji an hour later, oh four hours later, sends
me a text. When people tell you Lane Kiff is
the world's best troll, always remember four dots. There's at
least one better.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
I just I just remember, like whispering in my breath,
this cocksucker, because I fell for it.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
I fell for you thought, Okay, you saw the tweet
and we're like, well.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Coop dropped in the group chat information. Josh pay tweeted,
like the guy knows now I fell for it. Damn.
Do you want to bring him back in the conversation. Yeah,
that's what we bring it back in.

Speaker 5 (12:43):
Got the same exactly.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
I got a text that said, when people tell you
Lane Kiffin is the world's best troll, always remember four dots.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
There's at least one better.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Sorry you as quick what it as we think, or
you just have he roll index of responses.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
He is, but I'm sure his phone was blowing up
right when that moment happened. Had gold through group chats
like everybody's like, he knows, he knows, he knows. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Worst thing about this show when it airs will be
I sent that to like a dozen other people. They
will see this and I will be exposed even further
than I've been exposed this week so far. When you're
on one though, when you got a good line, most
of the time you give it to one person. I
happened to be in that unique position where I thought
I had a good one. Four hundred people were asking
me the same thing, and I just copy paste, copy paste,

(13:26):
copy paste, copy paste. Lane himself hit me up, Chris
Lowe hit me up, like a lot of really distinguished
true north stars of college football hit me yep.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
I didn't care.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
But when you two hit me and I realized what
I thought was clear sarcasm. Clearly a joke had not
landed to the point where both of you took it seriously, That's.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
When I went, uh oh, yeah, that's I will say.
It's like some of those networks, like they might have
those reactions, but there's something where they they're over on
the other side of the line, or they would get that
joke and that it comes back to you and they're like,
oh man, they didn't get it, Like I missed, I
whiffed on this troll. You got it everybody, Yeah, you
got everybody. It's up to everybody. You sent that copy

(14:08):
and paste too. Now to when you send them a message,
we just now have to be arm in arm and
just respond back copy and paste question mark. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
So it's my retirement from comedy.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
I'm done. I'm done until twenty twenty. I'm done. Yeah,
I'm I'm a journalist and miss you gotta keep swinging,
You gotta keep swinging. You don't missed it.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
There's been so many times in the show you've done
a joke and it's hit.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
Do you think I should miss more so that jokes land? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Do you think that my and of course I don't
take myself too seriously, but do you think that my
being above the fray, my integrity, my self proclaimed authority
over this sport.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Worked against me? I think it did.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Yeah, So I think I need to back off that
stuff about twenty five percent intentionally with Maybe that's what
I've been doing in every two and three weeks so
far this year, so that I can afford to be
a little more loose, a little more reckless, you know,
get a little sideways and turn four and not everyone
looks at the car saying, oh man, is he wrecking? Yeah, no,
it's just dirt track. I'm doing it on purpose. It's
the hero's journey.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Right. Let me ask you this.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
You said something in that in that little monologue there
that maybe you've been doing it all along with the
two and threes. Maybe this is the new Josh Peyton.
Now that we see at three and two. So you
have to ask yourself this, Do you want to be
a guy that does whiffs on jokes and trolls the
whole entire world but is positive every single week in
the gambling or do you want to flip it and
go two and three and always be able to read
the room correctly?

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Can I think on that? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Oh yeah, this is this is We can sit here
all day, we have nothing but time.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
My second bone to pick with you? Oh oh fauld
on lights were not going to the game, not going
to Michigan, Ohio State, And I saw I saw everybody
kind of coming after you too. They're they're labeling how
many times you went to Bam, how many times all
these SEC games you go to instead of the audience,
this is the only game that matters, and you got
Ohio State, Michigan that the heat. Just how insane this

(16:01):
game is and not everything around it.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
The greatest rebel in sports. But this robbery is at
its peak right now.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
No one needs to explain to me how big the
game is. For instance, I've been to the last four,
including a couple of years ago when Michigan won in
the snow in ann Arbor, it's a noon kickoff, so
you can get back to Detroit Airport and you can
get your flight home to Nashville.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
You see Taylor in the terminal.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
You say, hey, Taylor, say say, Because he's born in
the same flight as you, you've never brought it up
to his face until now, but.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
He just kind of big times you there. He came
and he had that one ready to go. I zoned out.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
I didn't catch everything you say because I was a point.
I'd be like, oh, Jack went to that game, the
Snow Game, and that's making his point. You're saying you
went to the Snow Game.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
I'm saying you became aware of me documented earlier today,
last year. But you first spoke to me two or
three years ago in Detroit Airport. You remember it was
the same day. You don't remember, clearly, let me inform you.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
It was the same day. Is this the Snow game?

Speaker 3 (17:05):
It's the Snow Game, but it's the same day as
the fourth and thirty one Iron Bowl ending. Because the
entire airport went crazy because we're about to board a flight.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Separately.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Clearly, you and I are about to board a flight
back home to Nashville, and that that Bama fourth and
thirty one play happened because I remember that was that day.
So whatever Michigan Ohio State game was that day, it
was the fourth and thirty one.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
You know, you have two mixed up because the Snow
game I had in my back pocket just now.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
I did not go to that game. Jack went to
that game. Was that twenty three Taylor was the game
that we I know, I know.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
And then when you said the Alabama, Mitch and I
were sitting in the terminal with a bag full of
candy after watching the game, watching that fourth and what
thirty one, watching that fourth thirty one in the Iron
Bowl in that terminal.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
So now you're I'm back with you. Was the snow game,
twenty one Snow game.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
I was also at that one, and then I was
at twenty two, and then I was at twenty three.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
I've been to the last four.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Yeah, I think by the way we can get into
how I am to be a better friend to you,
even though I don't know we were friends at that
time yet. So it's really not my bad at all.
You need to go to the game. You have to
have you been to the last four? Yeah, you have
to go to this oh, I said, where you're going?

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yeah? What was the energy? Yeah? What happened at the game?
Or we were saying what? Oh? I said? I said congrats,
and I said, hey, how are you doing?

Speaker 3 (18:19):
You can say hey, man, appreciate it, you know, like
you like you would any other stranger.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Do we know each other? Clearly?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
No?

Speaker 1 (18:27):
So you okay? So clearly? So have we met before
that moment? I don't think so. Okay.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
So a very handsome bald guy walks up to me
in terminal after my team just one was it two
or three in a row?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
That would have been three in a row, right, those
twenty three regardless.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
So I'm I'm in a great mood. Mitch.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
He's a he's a quote unquote state fan. We get
a bunch of candy. I'm like, hey, you'll eat your feelings.
I'll eat my happiness. Let's get in here and.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Eat this tea. Understandable. And you come up to me.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
We don't know each other, and you just say congrats,
and I say, hey, thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
No, there was no very much.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
Oh, thank you, thanks Bud. Like you would any usher
walking by, you just appreciate him. Man, thanks, thanks Bud.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
You see your stories following apart.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Dude, we could be two years down the road right now.
We could be two further years down the road. We
could have been first fight. We could have been two
years down the road if you would have.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Walked out to me and said, Taylor, Josh, paid great
to meet you, and I'd be like, yo, I think
I know.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
That name from somewhere, Josh. What do you do? Oh,
I'm the commissioner of college. Like. Oh, Bro, you're the guy.
You're the guy that people keep talking about all the time,
and you're on your web.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
You're crushing here. Hey, how to seat you? See this
fourth and thirty one going right now, right now at
the Iron Bowl. Why don't you say no, get a
little closer, get in here, and then we get on
my phone and we sit there.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Bro huh.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
And that's how our friendship starts. Friendship does the show? Hey,
congrats on the game. Keep walking because you tried to
play cool and I would have loved to be your friend.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Here's the problem.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
Neither of you, neither of you are going to understand
this because you're not introverted. You're not introverted. I pretend
I'm not on air, but I'm actually introverted socially, So
it's just not my DNA to.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Dude claims to be introverted as well, you're not. You
were not. I believe I'm introverted. You're introverted. There's no way.
He likes.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
He likes his home time, he likes his uh will
will likes to recharge with himself.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
I do.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
I don't like to be around like you know, that's
not being when you walk into a room, you're comfortable
in the center of the room if you're going to
be at all the time.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
I'm never comfortable in this. I'm comfortable if I know everybody.
Hm hmm. That's when I least like, you know, we
can do we can take a test. We do one
of those acronym tests. Any A Graham. Any a Graham
was like one hundred fifty questions eight wing six, something
like that. The moon, the moon. There's another one to
where it's like, uh, you know, it's just like the
alphabet and you take four of the letters, you put

(20:43):
them together. You got access right the moon, Ya, I
got no clue what we're talking about her. You don't
know your sign?

Speaker 3 (20:53):
I don't I know December December seven.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Please look up what you can bring up. You should
bring the date, the date you were born in location,
and they'll have this moon thing that like basically explains
you perfectly. Yeah, you're a star. There you go. What's
what's what's the what's the sign? I know it's not
a new thought. That's like, but when I plugged it in.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
No, Like, there's like a scorpios, a scorpion, A Leo's
a lion. A cancer is like a crab or some
shit like that.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
Sagittarius is like a unicorn or some ship.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
No, I think there's a centaur. Is there a sense? Yeah,
September nineteenth, nineteen eight, then I anybody anyone does? No
one have it center? That's dope it is.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
But you having the introvert conversation, I fully understand how
you would go, Hey, congratulations, that's you really getting out
of your wheelhouse and how comfortable you are.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
I laid myself on the line.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
It sounds like, well from an introverts perspective, absolutely yeah.
But if I saw somebody that I knew and that
I thought to myself, I'd like to be friends of
that individual. I'm also an extrovert, so I would definitely
just come up on you.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
So as an extrovert, you saw me say hey to you.
You received it, but really you ran it through your
filter and decided. I don't know if I want to
boy say hello to Pat Patrick?

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Pat, Hello, thank you. Yeah. No, it's been a it's
been a hard fought battle at eating. It's tough for.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
I mean, I mean vegetables. I'm I'm I'm on the
non Thanksgiving Thanksgiving plan right now.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
But you remember that mental toughness of being offensive Lineman
this moment to be able to move. Yeah, that I'm
gonna eat turkey. I'm gonna have mascutatos this week. He's right, dude.
That that's a problem is I'd become a bully eat.
I need to become the bully earth. Yeah, what's up Paton?

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Brother Patrick? I need you to do me a favor
right quick if you can. Yeah, I have no interest
in picking Ohio State in front of my good friend here,
so I'm gonna outsource it to you for later in
the show. Ohio State, Michigan. You have a pick yet
for this weekend?

Speaker 1 (23:08):
I can't get that right now. I got that place? Hey, Pat,
you remember our text exchange from last year, don't make
the same mistake. Don't make the same mistake. I have
not done done. What a time to turn it around?
You you stand up, shirt offs, start seeing mister brightside.

(23:30):
We're going blue a moment, God bless what up?

Speaker 2 (23:37):
What up?

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Ok? A thousand? He didn't say nothing, done done. He
didn't say nothing. He didn't say he didn't say he
didn't say anything. I heard him whisper him, but it
had to be. It was probably the WiFi. Yeah, yeah,
he didn't say any fair enough, got you? Okay, fair,
that's fair?

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Pat?

Speaker 5 (24:00):
Are you on TV this week?

Speaker 1 (24:02):
No? No, we're home. Do you want to stop by
today and talk about getting murdered by Kittle? Absolutely? I
would love to. Okay, okay, yeah that yeah, that works.
That's how we are right now. Yeah, that'll work for
the brother.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
I think if we went back in time and I
was fully aware aware of josh P, I would have
made a different decision there. Or maybe I'm just so
I'm winded by happiness in that moment. I'm not my
my best self.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
It was the day, so it was the day more
than it was me.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah, yeah, I would. I would.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
I would say that because I love where we're at now.
But just thinking the fact that we could be two
years ahead of where we are now. I can't go
into that thought process.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
It will just make me sad. Yeah, it's a long day,
long day, long day. We have fun, got a lot
of games to talk about, a lot of games to
talk about.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Right here, you guys are the game is talk about.
There's only one game that matters. There's only one game
that matters on that.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
And shall we kick it off? Let's do it, let's
do it? Any more bones to pick the josh? I
have no bones.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Think we emptied the clip this morning, glad I were
white leading everywhere.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
I would like to point out, and you guys know
no one noticed it. But no boot, no boot, no
reason to give a round of applause for that.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Fuck out. You can't you can't do that, and then
be like nobody do anything. You guys don't have to.
It's called sarcasm. Did you beat gout? Do you think
you beat gout? No?

Speaker 2 (25:31):
I think right now, I'm not gonna say what I
was just gonna say, but I think I'm on the mend.
Today is judgment Day. I got vans on. I woke
up this morning, I got into bed and I'm thinking myself,
Please God, no no pain. When I put these feet
on the ground and there was no pain, and so
I started walking. I was like to put these vans on,
and if tomorrow I have foot pain. There's two There's

(25:54):
two answers. One is I could probably never wear Vans
or Chucks again, and that changes my entire identity. And
two is I'm not out of the woods with goal.
Those are the two things that one does. So today's
a big judgment day. I'll keep you posted and please
do face group chat.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Yeah, please do yeah, copy and paste. We're gonna take
a quick break and bring you and shout out our

You wore a Form Energy candidate form Energy. We do
the work, drink form energy. Let's get back to this episode.
Here we go. We got the Egg Bowl Old Myths
at Mississippi State. The line on this game Old Miss
is favored by six and a half. The over under
on this game at sixty two and a half. We
have an announcement happening after the game where Lane Kippin's

(26:54):
gonna go. This is about as big of a moment
as it gets for Old Miss. They're gonna keep their
head coach after the game's over. Has all of this
drama is going to affect this Old Miss football team
who's sitting there, prime and ready to go for the
college football playoff. If they win this game in the
lane leaves as Ole Miss. You know what's the playoff
look like for them? Right? People are gonna say they

(27:15):
want him out of the plaoff. They don't have Lane Kiffin,
which is crazy.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
I mean, regardless, that's still a playoff worthy roster, is
it not.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
That's a great Josh pay question.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Look, I think so, Yeah, I think so. I think
that's more taught than something the actual committee. I mean,
do we really think the committee chair is going to
get on the TV on Sunday and say we did
like this team, but now that they haven't lost a
single player, but their head coach is gone. If he's gone,
by the way, then sorry, it's over.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
You're dead.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Bye right, welcome, welcome home, Bring him young, Just as
an example, do we really think that's gonna happen. I
don't think that's gonna happen. What I do think is
it's going to be a moot point because I do
think Ole Miss is going to win this game and
cover because I kind of view Mississippi State is out
of gas, which of course they would want to have
said live on air or recorded whatever we are today.
And I know it's going to be in the hype video,

(28:04):
and I know it's going to be shown around the building.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
That's okay.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
I'm down for providing fuel for an entertaining game Friday.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
I just don't know that we're going to get it.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
I think Old Miss they haven't been a victim of
the distraction like other teams have. Other teams have had
their head coach in the headlines and whatnot, and they
faltered down the stretch. Old Miss has just gotten better.
And Lane would tell you it's because my locker room's
kind of unaffected by this, Like my players are zoned in.
They know they could go anywhere a year to year two.

(28:31):
So it's not like the old locker rooms. It's kind
of a new age locker room. And I know he
said that it is press conference yesterday and a lot
of people scoffed at it. You can scoff out it
all you want to look at their results. Their results
kind of bear out what he's saying. Has some legitimacy.
Maybe it's just an Old Miss thing, maybe it's just
a la anything.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
I don't know. I think they're going to win and cover.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
So I'll take Old Miss all lay the points and
the model agrees for the record.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
I'm gonna also take Old Miss for the distractions. I mean,
lank If and everybody in the world could have packed
it in that locker room, could have had all the
destructions of the world and have a reason to drop
a game here and there, and they haven't.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
They've just gotten better. I think it's competitive for the.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
First half and then Ole Miss just really puts the
gas on and it's it's over in the second half.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Fun fact about the egg Bowl started in nineteen forty four.
It is the tenth longest uninterrupted series in the United States.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Don't you think it's strange that we were smack dab
in the middle of World War Two as a country,
and somewhere in Mississippi someone said, we got to name
this bowl game.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
We got no one here to play right now, but
we got to name this bowl. Why the Egg Bowl? Why?
I've known that answer? Do you have it? Fun fact?
I know, I was. I was. It was mainly just
Wikipedia pages. Then they call it like the Golden Egg something,
and I don't know the reasoning behind the naming of
the egg. You know what I mean that the chicken
come first of the egg. Yeah, let's just go as

(29:51):
is this rivalry game name? No one knows the answer,
just like the chicken egg. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
I would say that's the biggest storyline around this game
this week is just where did the what's the the
origin story of the rivalry Lane?

Speaker 1 (30:02):
If we got time, we can get to that, But.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
Really we got to get down to more pressing matters.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
I'm taking ole miss minut six and a half. I
think that is what an opportunity Lane Kiffin has to
become an absolute legend. I like to believe I've went
back and forth all the boys around the shop, like
is he leaving? Is he staying? I'm putting a posts, Hey,
you got everything? Why moving the goalpost? Then it's like
I hear that the nil the money depth is way

(30:26):
more at at Florida or LSU. Ole Miss is working
to make it as perfect. They've given him everything he's wanted.
Ole Miss puts out a statement he's gonna make a
decision after the game, after the Egg Bowl concludes. Then
you got another leak that comes out on Sunday or
Monday where it's LSU. Was it LSU has ninety million
dollars or was that one Florida? Either way? Either way,

(30:47):
there's a leak coming out saying all this money is
there there, they're prepared to offer him this deal. And
part of me just wants to believe that Lane Kiffin
is dragging everybody along and he's gonna chew to go
to ole Miss after they win the eight Bowl, he's
gonna choose to stay home, and he's doing everything he
can to drag LSU and Florida along because they are

(31:09):
opponents in the SEC and he wants to set them
up for as much failure as they can feel before
these dominoes fall and he goes back. He stays home,
He stays at Old Miss. Like what a legend I
love this man could be. I love that. But if
he goes elsewhere, in the ugliest way possible and the

(31:30):
worst way he could have possibly done it, he will
have ripped the hearts out of the chest of ole Miss,
that fan base, that school.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
There's no way he's getting out of the situation without
heartbreak taking place. Right, but it depends on which heart
he wishes to break. There's an easy story right here
for him to just be this hero. Yeah, it's true
hero villain right here, and being a troll, I mean,
the second best troll according to Josh spaces copy and
paste text. He I mean by him dragging along LSU
and Florida, like, this is the best job you can
possibly do. Get these guys to leave, believe, believe, and

(32:01):
then National Saturday is what December third, December two at
eleven fifty nine, announce that you're staying at ole Miss.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Yeah, go as far as to even after the egg
Bowl or maybe right before whatever. He just lets Florida
and LSU know. He tells both of them he's going
to like that league's happening Saturday boom, staying at Ole Miss. Yeah,
how about this?

Speaker 3 (32:24):
I had had a vision. Now, So if we're right,
if Ole Miss wins and they cover, let's say they're
up ten, they got the ball, Mississippi State's got no timeouts.
Fifty five, fifty four, fifty three, they're taking knees, they're
pouring the water on the sideline. What if the cameras
caught him drenched high five and everyone and you just
saw him go like that right there and then put
his phone away. And then two hours later, it was

(32:46):
reported Pete Nakos on three Sports Lane, Kiffin sent a
group text or maybe a copy paste text to both
Florida and LSU moments before the Egg Bowl ended, informing
them that he's staying at Ole Miss.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
You go back and you look at the footage.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
And you realize he sent that text before the clock
at zero.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
That's beautiful. That's link keffing texting me. Now it would
be it'd be nuts. I am interested to see what
decision he is going to make.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
Do we want to go on record as predicting where
we think he's going to go? I, of course know
but but do we want to go on the record
as predicting. You start, I wrote it down, makes you say, Wow.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Huh, you're gonna all right? Is it? It's what you thought?
I want it on record that I'm predicting. He stays
at ole, Miss hmm.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
I want it on record before or after I showed
you what I just showed.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
Either way, that's where I was going before. And I
gotta stay in ten toes down. Okay.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
A lot of people have been saying that like the
flip right there, A lot of people have been saying
that the old bait and switch and switch and hey,
the job could be open.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Oh I think that job is one hundred percent open.
One hundred percent open.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
All right, And Scott's honor, we will all be honest
about what we had predicted next week when we have
an answer.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Yeah, I'll keep this card. We have a second game
on deck. We have Alabama. We got the Iron Bowl,
Alabama had Auburn. The line on this game is Alabama
minus five and a half. The over under on this
game is forty seven and a half. A fun fact
to lead this thing up. Their first meeting was in
eighteen eighty three and in the early in the early
twentieth century, Birmingham was the leading industrial city of the

(34:38):
South in production of pig iron coke, coal, in manufacture
of steel booming, which led them to name.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
It the Iron Bowl. Yep, yep, we know the name
of that one. We know the origin story of the
Iron Bowl.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
Played it in Legit Field for a long. Do we
want to get Garrett of here, maybe give a couple words,
if he's prepared, if he's ready to go. Sorry, do
you want to give Gearrett on the mic? Geartt on
the mic? It's up, boys, Garrett.

Speaker 6 (35:13):
I'd like to put it out there that I think
Lane Kiffin is gonna stay at Old miss as well.
I think he's dragging Florida and LSU to deep deep waters,
just for the just for the bit, but for the
Iron Bowl. We all know what this game means. This
is a win and in for Alabama. You also have
to walk into the most voodoo place in the in

(35:34):
the entire world. Auburn started it last week by starting
a true freshman deuce night playing the mind games. They
also announced this could be true, true or false, But
now they're saying that they're going to start a different
quarterback for this game. So the head games have already started.
We know what we have to do. Will said it

(35:54):
last week or a few weeks ago for the Oklahoma game.
They got to wake up. They didn't wake up. Taste
your own blood again. Hopefully this is just Belta to
ask like it should be and we get in and
then we take care of business from there. But big
game this weekend. It's probably the biggest game that's coming
up this weekend, especially on Saturday. If you're if you're

(36:16):
a college football fan, you know how big this game is.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
It is the biggest.

Speaker 6 (36:21):
Game in college football every single year, sole title.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
Wow, well said you're a lot of people believe that
it is a great game. When you guys were talking
about your first meeting, like that fourth and long Alabama
Auburn fourth at fourth and thirty one, that was a
true like where were you moment the field goal that

(36:46):
Auburn returned for a touchdown. Like they've had some iconic
moments in this game. And it's being in just the
in state rivalry aspect of yeah, the N state rivalry,
who's going to own the state? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (36:56):
And like yeah, Alabama for so long has been so
good that Auburn's have these weird peaks and massive valleys.
But even when they have these valleys, it's like a
competitive game and it comes down to like this last
play at some points, and it's it's exciting. It's gonna
be a fun game to watch. I think there's a
lot of people in the South that are really excited
about this football game.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
I got. I think Alabama's gonna cover. I think, you
know the.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Voodoo games and mindsets Deuce is playing now he's not playing.
He freezes out who's gonna be the coach there? Everybody
wants Lane Kiff and there's no way operations Lane Kiffin.
And I just think Klin de Boor has has fully
understood the expectation and what he needs to do, especially
if this is a winning get in game, Like if
they lose this game, their season is over yep, and

(37:40):
they are done. And I think that that alone is
enough to propel you into it. Like a lot of times,
Alabama when they've fallen, it's been they've been undefeated, they're
they're you know, they're sleepwalking into a game. They've kind
of steamrolled everybody. They have the old Nick Saban teams,
This team knows like, if we don't get this done,
then everything we work for is just a wash at

(38:02):
this point.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
And so I like Alabama in this game to cover
minus five and a half. Yeah, season is a failure,
like this is. They have so many things on the line,
season being over, You're playing for a conference title, appearance,
you're playing for a college football spot. This is This
week is all hands on deck and in the Iron Bowl,
where the juices are already high, now it's even higher
for Alabama. I got them winning and covering, and I

(38:22):
like the Alabama Christmas tide. I'm looking at Auburn's going
to ruin their season, well they can.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
I think the jordan Hair Stadium voodoo stuff works against Alabama,
but not in the way people think. People think, Oh
that place is hon I've been to like a dozen
of these games at Jorden Hair Stadium. I'm well aware
of what they're talking about. And Bama hardly ever performs
well down there. But if you think about it, all right,
if voodoo was real, if black magic was real down there,
the last two times Bama's gone down there, they have

(38:51):
actively reached into Auburn's chest, twisted their hand and pulled their.

Speaker 1 (38:56):
Heart out Indiana Jones.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
That never would happen if you they were cursed in
that building. So I would argue, maybe the dynamics changed,
Maybe the talk should be, is there some kind of
extra hurdle psychologically Auburn's got to overcome. Auburn's gotta clear
in their own building. No one said that this week.
That's the way I would be thinking if I were
tasked with providing the motivation, providing the talking points in

(39:20):
the bulletin board material. But we're just tasked with picking
the game. So I'm looking at what the model thinks
because I brought it along with me this week.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Model loves Alabama. You gotta get one of those, gotta
get one of the Christmas. Right around the corner.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
Models got Bama win in by ten. I think this
number is low for two reasons. The Oklahoma game firstly,
has really made people look at Alabama's maybe a little
wobbly with good reason, but minus three turnovers in that game,
which is a stat from a predictive nature that we
think is randomized. And then the other part of it
is what we just talked about. There's this thinking that

(39:52):
of manjer and hair stadium like rivalry week, that's a
different game for Alabama. And so those two aspects have
brought this number down where I love it. I think, Alabama,
are you laying the points win and cover there by
over a touchdown?

Speaker 1 (40:05):
I think it's great value.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
However, that is all contingent on them starting relatively fast,
Like they don't need to be up fourteen to three,
they just need to start decently, no early turnovers, not
that situation where like Auburn's got a two to one
time of possession edge going into the half, because then
you're out in the deep end. Doesn't matter what a
computer model says. Black magic voodoo is real. But if

(40:27):
they get out to a decent start, Yeah, I like
him because I think Auburn's ability to score is going
to be pretty limited. Because the hidden aspect of all
this stuff is Bama's defense has played really well, played
really well, and as much as you know, one quarterback
looked good deuce night last week. I think this is
Ashton Daniel's game. I think that was always the plan
down there, is to sit him for I think it
was Mercer last week. Sit him for the Mercer game.

(40:48):
It's essentially two weeks to prepare for his Super Bowl,
for Auburn's Super Bowl. This is really what they have
to play for. They're trying to play spoilers. The beauty
of rivalry games. I think the Boar and Alabama going
in there winn and cover.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
I love it as well. Hey, I'm taking a text
at this point. We got Texas A and M. This
is a this a big business. Texas A and M
at Texas. The line on this game, Texas A and
M is favored minus student at. The over under on
this game is fifty one and a half. What does
the model think?

Speaker 3 (41:20):
Model thinks the number is almost dead on the money.
We got A and M winning by three.

Speaker 1 (41:25):
Okay, by the way, no real fun facts on this one.
Oh yeah, I was, I was. I was doing my
best here. Because obviously Texas A and M leaves in
what twenty eleven or twenty twelve to go to the SEC.
That's when the game kind of stopped. It was played
for a while. The first time was being played in
thirteen years. Yeah except for last ye yea. Yeah they
play last year. They play lest year, yeah, but in Austin.
But they did have a long span when Texas was

(41:49):
my fault. When Texas was was in the Big twelve.
They were trying to get it back. Like in two
thousand and eighteen, I want to say the Texas student
body had to vote for how much they wanted to
play A and M. It was like a ninety six
percent favorable. We want this game back. And they did
the same thing in early twenty nineteen. I believe in
February with A and M that favorability was like eighty
six percent. There's this gentleman from San Antonio Rep. In

(42:13):
San Antonio, I was trying to write a bill, didn't
get it, kind of died. The governor stepped in. He
was trying to get a build to pass. It kind
of died. But then once Texas joined the SEC, the
rivalries back and well so they were trying to student
by they were trying to take it into their own hands.
And like again around twenty eighteen, it was kind of
dying out. They couldn't get any widespread traction on it.
But now that they're both back in the conference, we're

(42:33):
getting this beautiful game and with implications at Texa A
and M being undefeated, who if they played the SEC?
People are asking myself, Buddy Texas on kind of a
hot streak right now with Archie Manning, like throwing the
ball around the yard. We'll get into that. But this game,
this game is huge because Texa's gonna be out there. Hey,
we got a three loss, we got a resume that

(42:53):
shows that we should be in the playoff. That's going
to happen. I love the chaos aspect of that. And
also is Texas A and M can they beat one
of these, you know, above the toward the top SEC teams,
because who if they beat Auburn, Misssippi State, Florida, Arkansas, LSU,
South Carolina strategically leaving Missoo out of there, missoos with
three loss, but Missoo is kind of their best win.

(43:14):
Backup quarterback, backup quarterback, Yeah, missoo, Yeah, that's where you're going.
I'm going Texas. I think this. I know I'm gonna
go Texas money line. I like Texas a lot this game.
I like Texas lot arch Manning. Here's a fun stat
with arch Manning in his first seven games, his first
seven weeks, four of them, most of them, he threw
for under two hundred yards. Since throwing for one hundred

(43:35):
and thirty two against Kentucky starting game eight, he's thrown
for three forty six, three twenty eight, two fifty one
and three eighty nine. He's had that he has eleven
touchdowns and two interceptions and at least thirty atten attempts
in each game. He's threw over forty a couple of
these games, and again in those first seven he only
hit thirty attempts twice, so they're let him throw the
ball around. Uh. The problem is Texas A and M

(43:56):
does have you know, the highest sack percentage in the country.
They will get after him a little bit. They're solid
in the trenches, they have a good offensive line, good
d line. It will be tough, but I like, I
love Texas money line here. I think this is the
first lost text A and M is gonna taste. And
then there's gonna be a little bit of question mark
a little bit, but a little bit of doubt about
this team being a top four team in the College

(44:16):
Wall Playoff. They'll have a chance to prove in the
SEC Championship, probably gets Bama. I think A and M
loses that game as well. Wow, your Dallas frauds A M.
I don't think A and M's frauds. I just don't
think they're they will maintain this level that everybody sees
them at, Like, I think they're a great team. They've
had Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think they're I think they're

(44:36):
a great team. You think an inferior schedule has propped
them up a little bit? Yes, yes, wow, making them
a little fraudulent, making them, yeah, in that aspect of
the top tier, a little fraudult. But I'm not saying
like this is a pig with lipstick, like they're not
a good football team.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
I do respect people. Yeah, frauds again, with the schedule
that they've had. If you look at a preseason, this
is gonna be this is a tough schedule. But now
the way the years played out, I'm like, all right,
I feel like I have a couple question marks with
they am. They've earned the right to be in all
these conversations, They've earned the right to be undefeated. Marcel
Read's earned the right to be in the Heisman conversation.

(45:09):
But I just have a little question mark about text
A and M, and I think it starts to get
exposed against Texas this weekend.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
You asked me one time, how do you sit there
and talk about college football alone for an hour and
a half. I feel like if we weren't here, you
could have gone another hour on this game. I've never
been more proud of you. We're recording early in the week.
You preface this entire prediction by saying, I really got
nothing on this game. Actually, let me just slip a
few things in there, and it's five minutes later, it's

(45:36):
seven minutes later. I know the origin story, I know
arch Manning's last four games. I know the political scene
in the late twenty teens in the state of Texas,
and how this game was tried to get back but
then the governor stepped in. I don't even feel like
you exhausted all your notes. I still feel like you
got bullets in the chamber. You made a really good
pick on the game. You just exposed Texas A and
M as total frauds.

Speaker 1 (45:57):
We're also saying they're not frauds. Any why they are fraud.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
I'll saying they're not fraud I'm just saying there's nothing
about the the t real Yeah, I hate everything about it,
not frouds.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
Respectfully, they can die this week. Not only will they
died this week, they're all gonna go next week. As well.
Will A and M still be in the playoffs? Yeah,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
AM's gonna lose her next two geez where he deserves,
but he still lose the next game.

Speaker 3 (46:22):
You thought if you thought the South Carolina first half
was something waiting, he plays out over four quarters.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
So with the utmost.

Speaker 3 (46:30):
Trepidation, could I tech Texas ay and him to win
this game and cover? Could I just present the counter argument?

Speaker 1 (46:36):
Absolutely? What's funny? Before you do say that, I was
looking at you. I kind of went from Taylor to
you and just in the background and caught my eye
when you just that random shot that went South Carolina.
I just see JP in a blurn my mission, just
shaking his head back there.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
JP is a king of like city out of my
out of my sight, and I just hear him multiple
times show crazy, makeing a lot of lip smacking noises
like JP's the king of just having a soundboard behind me,
I know exactly how GP goes out the show is
going at all.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
He's like a show, like an actual audience member out
there to where he's giving you reactions and everything else
he's got.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
When we when Josh was talking to me about whenever
the airport situation.

Speaker 1 (47:15):
I'm explaining my side. I just hear dB. It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (47:21):
He always hear him and he's not Mike, so so
you can't hear him on the feet because he's not Miked.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
We hear him.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
But when I dropped the South Carolina line, all our
heard was just an inflation.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (47:35):
The way I look at this is I've said, like
in five different an M predictions on the show this year,
I've said, Man, I love that they've won different ways.
They've won like a seventeen to six game or something
like that against Auburn. They won the forty one to
forty shootout against Notre Dame, so they they had like
all seriousness. They had that terrible first half against South Carolina,
came all the way back, so they've had to come
from behind, they've had to win the slugfest, they've had

(47:58):
to win the shootout. This kind of games where I
think that pays off, Like Texas on the road's really
really iffy. Texas at homes good team. So you got
to go in there building. You've been skating on thin ice.
It feels like a little bit, but you've kind of
made it. But what you're worried about is the Oregon
thing from last year. What if they're this year's Oregon.
What if they peaked really early and then they fade late,

(48:19):
which is a valid concern. I think that Texas has
three losses for a reason. And when I have a
team that I think has multiple ways to beat you,
including that pass rush, I know that's going to travel
and I know that that can give the Texas offensive
line fits. And I think I think there may be
a world where we watch this game if A and
M wins and covers, where we say, man, like that

(48:40):
first half AG at South Carolina sucked in the moment
for them, it may have been the best wake up call.
It may have been like the jumper cables to the nipples,
which you need sometimes. You need those sometimes, and I
think that was what that game was. So I think
they're going to go in there, not an easy win
at all, four quarter game. I think they're going to win.
I think they're going to cover, and they're going to
go to Atlanta. If if we'll see where you go.

(49:00):
If I'm wrong, if you're right, I don't think they.

Speaker 1 (49:03):
Go to the SEC championship game.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
I think the tiebreaker is Georgia would go, I believe
that's how that works.

Speaker 1 (49:10):
Is that is that true for sec guys? Is that.

Speaker 2 (49:15):
Yeah, b y us never come from behind conversation that
we get checked on real hard.

Speaker 1 (49:23):
So we got to make sure that.

Speaker 3 (49:27):
People like this would gladly take the airport snub over
getting a Brigham Young fact.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
Wrong because American prime evil. We know what they can do.

Speaker 3 (49:34):
We found out, we found out that was a documentary
all along.

Speaker 1 (49:36):
Yeah, Josh, if Georgia wins, Alabama wins and.

Speaker 3 (49:40):
Irrelevant, Georgia is irrelevant.

Speaker 1 (49:43):
Okay, okay, because it's not a conference game. It's Alabama wins,
and A and M loses.

Speaker 5 (49:46):
Alabama wins. There in Georgia's in if Alabama loses, and
A and M loses, Old Misses win, Alabama loss, A
and M loss Texas A and M is win or
Alabama loss.

Speaker 2 (49:58):
How did Georgia but how did Georgia and Ole miss
have the same outcome?

Speaker 5 (50:01):
To be clear, you say, oh, Georgie's and if they
win or lose, but they need Bama and A and M.

Speaker 1 (50:06):
To lose, they need both of them to lose.

Speaker 5 (50:08):
Correct A and M needs to win or if they lose,
then Alabama needs to lose, an ole Miss also needs
to lose.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
Okay, so that makes sense. If Bama wins and A
and M loses, it's going to still be It's going
to be Bama A and M lost. You hear that
explanation they lose either and okay, so A and M
could still get in if they lose as long Bama

(50:36):
loses Alabama or ole Miss loses.

Speaker 3 (50:39):
Okay, A and M is in with a win or
an Alabama loss and ole Miss loss.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
So they need both of those things to happen.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
So, in other words, if Alabama wins the Iron Bowl,
They're in.

Speaker 1 (50:50):
If and A and M's in no matter what.

Speaker 3 (50:52):
A and M is in if Alabama if they if
they lose, if A and M loses, then they need
al Alabama and Ole Miss to lose to get in.
So like even if so this would be if let's
just walk this through. So, if A and M loses
to Texas brain damage and Alabama loses to Auburn, it
would be A and M versus Georgia, I believe.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
So who's in the SEC Championship If Alabama.

Speaker 3 (51:19):
Wins, Alabama's in automatically if they win, A and M
loses that would be Alabama versus Georgia. It looks like
to me, yes, that's correct, it would be Alabama Georgia chaos.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
But honestly, if you think about it, if you're A
and M and I'm saying that they would lose the
SEC Championship, in this hypothetical world, you're sitting there as
an eleven and one team not going to the conference
championship game, waiting to see what unfolds the couch will playoff,
you're kind of in a better situation. Yeah, yeah, you
don't buy. But unless without a doubt in your mind,

(51:52):
you're you're thinking you're going to go in and win
the SEC Championship, which I'm sure A and M fans
do believe that.

Speaker 3 (51:58):
Think about if Old Miss wins the Egg Bowl and
Bama loses the Iron Bowl, and A and M loses
to Texas, Ole Miss is going to Atlanta. We're not
even talking about whether Lane's going to coach the playoff.
We're talking about whether he's gonna coach in the SEC
Championship game. Also, Mitch, you've got a really important email
from the Flag Football Committee.

Speaker 1 (52:19):
I want to check that I'm gonna I'm gonna go
a and M.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
I think I've been I have to look back at
the records, but I think every time, I've bet against
Texas every time, and I've been successful since Texas except
for I bet on them for I bet against Texas,
and I've been successful except for the Red River.

Speaker 1 (52:39):
Robbery show up. Yeah, so I'll think a M. I'll
take an M.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
I'll think Reid, I love all the things you said
about how many times, how many ways they've won.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
He's fourth in the Heisman nods at Vanduel coming into
this week. This is where I got to have him
make his move. Diego Papa made his move last week.

Speaker 2 (52:55):
Diego Pobby has an opportuny to make his move this week.
He is I think he has a chance to cement
it if he goes off because they turned into a
bit of an air raid off. It's going to introduce
the next game.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
Yeah, speaking of Pavia, we got Vandy this that we
got ourselves a game boys. Yeah. We interrupt this episode
to bring you the boost them with the Boys profit
Boost token. If you don't already know, the Boys have
a profit boost token available every college football Saturday. That's
a profit boost on any college football Saturday bet just
open up the FanDuel sportsbook AP this Saturday and look
out for the Boost Them with the Boys profit Boost token.

(53:25):
Vanderbilt at Tennessee. The line on this game Tennessee's favored
by two and a half. The over under on this
game is sixty five and a half. Just a little
fun fact because I thought this is a fun one.
I'm actually enjoying the fun facts. I don't think i'd
like it, and I like it. From eighteen ninety two
to nineteen twenty seven Vanderbilt when this game the inception
started of it. Vanderbilt went nineteen two and three against Tennessee.

(53:45):
Then Tennessee goes and hires a gentleman by the name
of do you know we're chef or do you know
do what we're talking about? In nineteen twenty six, Tennessee
hires this gentleman named Robert need to quote even the
score against Vanderbilt. And when Robert Neeland was the head
coach at Tennessee, because there's a couple of years he

(54:07):
took off, but he come back. Robert Neiland went sixteen
three and two. I don't war.

Speaker 3 (54:15):
I told you guys they were starting rivalry game names
in Mississippi coaches were going off to war.

Speaker 1 (54:21):
Yeah, do you think you know it's crazy?

Speaker 3 (54:23):
Is like the year he took off, they lose to Vandy, Yeah,
which makes you wonder did he regret it?

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (54:29):
What's crazy is these stats that we that you give
talking about how like nineteen hundreds, late eighteen hundreds, like
boys were men, and now it's twenty twenty five and
we're sitting here talking about college football.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
This is our job, is kicker publicly?

Speaker 2 (54:45):
I have I Borline cried fifteen times the last three
weeks is of Galt. These guys are going to war
and working in like steel mills.

Speaker 1 (54:55):
This deal their wars remaining the front line like this
cyber wars going on right now and we're sitting comfortably
in this. We're just kind of hoping everything works out.

Speaker 2 (55:01):
We have no idea, but there's wars taking place right
now via the internet.

Speaker 1 (55:05):
Yeah, American Prime never more real, that's very real.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
Dale Pavia. If he has a massive game against Tennessee,
he will be he will win the high school.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
It's going to be there to be had.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
It'll be there to be at Tennessee Neeland Stadium. We
were there for the Tennessee Alabama game. It was probably
the loudest environment I've ever seen in college football. Uh,
diego Pavia like he's taking the world by storm. Of
his mom's out there grinding on a pole during a
game going crazy, Like the whole Pavia family is just
going nuts. Theo Vonn has found himself in that situation.

(55:44):
I've been watching.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
Film with with Vanderbil and I I I'll use this
a few weeks ago, and I I doubted them that
boys yesterday, Like you just gonna watch film and you're
just gonna pick.

Speaker 3 (55:55):
I've been watching film on bandy and let me tell you,
these boys have never been more screwed.

Speaker 2 (55:59):
Also, there's a lot of s on film, But I
don't think there's a group of offensive linemen that play
the game harder than these five guys do. The transition
they've had diego through the air of the last couple
of games is the reason why I'm thinking Vanderbilt to
cover this game plus two and a half.

Speaker 1 (56:15):
I think they're gonna win.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
But oh jack, wow, but I got I think I
think Vanderbilt is gonna cover well.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
Can I ask your follow up question?

Speaker 2 (56:24):
And you already picked you already picked Michigan on the
bus because your feelings got hurt. That's not your true feelings.
Anger is a mask of pain, is a mask of sadness,
and you're sad right now.

Speaker 1 (56:37):
And that's okay. Onward, your medic clump, be medic clump,
go ahead. Tensions are high right here, Josh, you better
pick Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (56:53):
I gotta ask you a question. If Vanderbilt wins their
ten and two, do they make the playoff?

Speaker 1 (56:58):
Is your question? That's my question to you. Not if
Michigan beats A State. O Wow, is that the scenario?
There's gonna be a ten two team that gets let out?
I know, but it's so though. There'll be a lot
of these teams that are like ten and two will
have these you know, have their arguments.

Speaker 3 (57:17):
Miami bring you you know what's gonna happen if they
don't get put in.

Speaker 1 (57:23):
But we don't talk about that. Like even if Oho
State beats Michigan Vanderbilt being a ten or a ten
and two team, there's still a few different scenarios where
they don't make it. I think they're gonna be pissed.
I mean, they're gonna be in a bad spot. They're
gonna be in a bad spot. Wow, who you taking
in this game?

Speaker 3 (57:43):
Tennessee's laying two and a half? Is that the number
we're going with? Models got and winning by three? I believe.
Last week I was very scared for Vanderbilt, Like Kentucky's
made a lot of noise.

Speaker 1 (57:58):
They had won three in a row.

Speaker 3 (57:59):
Kentucky was quietly one of the hotter teams in the
country that no one was paying attention to. Then you're watching,
You're looking on Instagram and Diego's everywhere butt Nashville, and
you've got Clark Lee involved in every job but the
Vanderbilt job. And I'm worried about distractions. I'm worried about focus.
And they put the laser on Kentucky's forehead last week.

Speaker 1 (58:18):
There was never a.

Speaker 3 (58:19):
Doubt in that game to where I mean, Tennessee just
got a big win over Florida. Florida dead body of
a team. So they just went down there and beat
on it for four quarters.

Speaker 1 (58:28):
And that was fun. That was a nice tune up.

Speaker 3 (58:31):
I thought I was going to solidly be Tennessee here
as I walked in this morning. I'm only very slightly Tennessee.
And if I'm only very slightly Tennessee, in Diego and
Diego's mom and Theo Vaughn. Everyone's riding over there, and
a playoff spot's on the line. For all I know,
Vanderbilts is never going to be in this position again.
I'll go with you. I'll take the points. And Vanderbilt

(58:52):
went out right.

Speaker 1 (58:53):
I can't believe so Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
So just so Jack can hear this, Tennessee can win
still and we would still be right. We're picking Tennessee.
There's still an option where Tennessee wins.

Speaker 1 (59:02):
Yeah, but he just said right before you said that,
he says, I got Vanderbilt winning out right. Oh well,
that changes everything you are? You are taking? What's that?
Jack is geared up, ready to go, geared up? Look
I Jack, I do love you, and I'm a fan

(59:28):
of Tennessee football. I truly am in this game. I'm
rooting for a story, and the story that I'm rooting
for is Vanderbilt over these last two years, coming on
the scene in college football and becoming a team you
have to respect. And the only guy you can think
about when you think of Vanderbilt Comoros. You could be

(59:49):
on the East coast, West coast. You hear Vanderbilt it's
Diego Pavia and this dude right now sitting in the
top three in Heisman because he has about three thousand
passing yards, over six hundred rushing, thirty four total touchdowns,
and he's set up for a moment to walk in
Kneeland Stadium, one of the most hostile stadiums in the
country for an in state you know, probably isn't like
seen as much of a rivalry. This year, it feels

(01:00:11):
like a rivalry because Vanderbilt's a good football team and
Tennessee doesn't want to walk out of that stadium thinking
they just lost the little bro down the road. Diego
Pavia becoming the Heisman in this moment, having a game,
whether it's anywhere three to five touchdowns, having his moment
where he becomes the hero. Vanderbilt becomes this story to

(01:00:32):
where they're kicking in the door for the College Football Playoff.
They might still be waiting on the outside, but that's
the way I would love to see them in the year,
To see Pavia in his career, to see potentially Clark
Lee before he goes off to somewhere else. Not saying
it's gonna happen, but that is a potential and what
Vanderbilt's done over the last two years. I'm rooting for
that because if I look at Tennessee winning, Tennessee, they

(01:00:52):
want to win because they just want to beat down.
They want to beat on their little bit you want
to keep. There's no like real thing beyond this game
of Tennessee wins and for those like for those reasons,
that's why I'm going with Vanderbilt here. I'm gonna take Vanderbilt.
I'm not gonna take him to Discover I'm gonna take
him to win out right, because I'm rooting for the
story of Vanderbilt football, the city of Nashville, and Diego
Pavia to win the Heisman because I think it'd be

(01:01:13):
I think it'd be all the time and the.

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
You said, like, after this season, clark Lee most likely
leaves Diego Pavia goes and goes to the NFL, and
I think everything kind of resets back to where it was.

Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
There could be a clump and he's in the gutter
now with recruits.

Speaker 2 (01:01:27):
And he's stay committed to NIL. If Clark League goes
and takes a head coaching job somewhere else.

Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
And altimately all to say, if this five star courts.
If say they have an awesome recruiting class, say say
it doesn't reset and Vanderbilt continues to be a respected
team in the SEC. It's going to be because of
Clark Lee. Who's the who's the other guy that they break?
Because everybody talks about Clark Lee, But who's the guy
that also came with Diego, Tim Beck, Tim Jerry Kill,
Jerry Kill, Jerry Kill, Clark Kill. It'll be because of

(01:01:58):
those coaches and Diego Pavia put them in this conversation
and they'll get to carry on. That's legacy. That's a legacy. Yeah,
you're laying that.

Speaker 3 (01:02:08):
You could watch the Olympics or you could watch WrestleMania,
but if you want the story, you're more likely to
see it when you're watching WrestleMania. Like you want a
WrestleMania ending instead of an Olympic ending.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
I mean, the Olympics is real sport. The Olympics.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
It could get sideway as a guy could win by
ten stride links.

Speaker 1 (01:02:26):
You want the story, yea, And.

Speaker 3 (01:02:27):
The story would be Vandy climbing the ladder in Niland
Stadium and grabbing the belt with everything on the line,
and you forced big brother to play spoiler and they
failed in their own building. Yeah you want that.

Speaker 1 (01:02:40):
In Niland Stadium too. That atmosphere is going to be electric, man,
Yeah it is. It's gonna be awesome. So yeah, that's
that's That's where I'm rolling boys. The game.

Speaker 2 (01:02:50):
Oh, this is it right here, greatest Robberry and all
of sports.

Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
Do you believe that I will say yes? Yeah, I
will say yes.

Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
To bring you True Class sick. Listen the True Classic
Pima T shirts. The last three weeks, I've been in hell,
I've had a doubt, I've been in pain, and anytime
I'm feeling so down on myself, I go take the
Pima True Classic T shirt. I put it on and
I'm like, at least you have this T shirt to
make you feel better about what's going on underneath everything.
True Class that You can find Two Classic at Amazon
and Costco, Sam's Club and Target nationwide or online True

(01:03:21):
Classic dot Comports, Lash Busting, look Good, feel good, play good.
Every Saturday's got games. Really one fits just right. This
is the True Classic Game of the Week. Number one
Ohio State at number fifteen Michigan the game Ryan Dave
versus Run Moore, Ohio State. I think it's nine and
a half now, but it saysn't the card here it
went back up to ten and a half. All right,

(01:03:44):
Ohio State minus ten and a half. Total points in
the game is forty four and a half points. Two teams,
incredible defenses, one offense. They've got two millions on both
sides this game.

Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
This is one hundred and thirties. You want to give
an I gonna I was even gonna try to rub hey,
go ahead and stab like a spoiler. I'm going Michigan motherline.
All right, we can, we can do the pump up
things all that I want. But this game just means
these two teams first met in eighteen ninety seven. They've
played annually all but once since nineteen eighteen. The one

(01:04:15):
time they didn't was because of the COVID year. I
have a few COVID stats that are coming up with
these games have This game has been played at the
end of the regular season since nineteen thirty five, and
in two thousand, ESPN ranked this game as the greatest
North American rivalry in sports. Ever. That was it? Yeah,

(01:04:39):
I wish like the South kind of has some of
these some of these fun little tidbits and stories. I
feel like this the Michigan uh having all these games
since like nineteen eighteen, they played annually every year. Are
you familiar every year? Are over one hundred years? Bro?

Speaker 2 (01:04:55):
I know there's one hundred and thirty six meeting between
these two teams.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Root Beer was made in nineteen nineteen, thank you, same
year Hovey last name Hovey, yea Evelyn Hovey. The same
year that Evelyn Hovey was born, nineteen nineteen. Incredible, incredible?
Are you familiar with the Ten Year War? The years?

Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
What decade was this? This is nineteen sixty nine, Bo
sham Beckler. It's his first year at the University of Michigan.
They're ranked number twelve in the country. They go in
against the number one team, Ohio State against Woody Hayes'.
Woody Hayes as the head coach. Good years, Bo Schambeckler,
his mentor was Woody Hayes, and so he left to

(01:05:43):
go to the University of Michigan. They were, you know,
I think thirteen and a half point underdogs in this game.
They go to a Columbus. They have six interceptions in
that game and they end up winning that game. And
that is like the first spark of what turned into
like the ten year war that really set Like Ohio
State Michigan off onto like this hated crazy arrival. Like
in that time Michigan every time they run out of

(01:06:05):
the stadim there's one way into one way out in
Michigan State and.

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
You've been there before.

Speaker 2 (01:06:08):
And they hold up they hold up the M go
blue banner and every football player runs, they tap the thing.
Ohio State comes out first and they tear down the
banner during this time like that that type of way.
Ohio State beat the shit out of Michigan one time
and instead of kicking the pat they go for two.
What he has in his press conference after the game,
They say, hey, why did you go for two? And

(01:06:29):
his answer was because I couldn't go for three. Like
that's the type of pettiness and the hate that's taking
place in this game. Like the last USUE of the
last four years, Michigan has won this game. Before that,
Ohio State won eighteen out of last twenty. Was is
that a correc stat? Eight And the last twenty your
boy was part of one of those wins. Like this
game is everything and as much as you like, you

(01:06:53):
hate Ohio State. The reason why there's so much hand Besides,
there's a level of respect. Like last year, I sat
here with a shell of words saying we're going to
go in there, They're going to shock the nation. We're
twenty a half point underdogs. End up being correct in that,
but in that moment when you don't have a passing game,
it's like I'm kind of just saying things and like,
you know, staying in the battles box for my team.
They end up winning that game. Going after Ryan Day,

(01:07:13):
Like Brian Harline, it's his first year being the OC.
He's done an incredible job recruiting the wide receivers. Their
wide receiver year. They have Jeremi Smith, Cardinal Tate, who
are you know, top five picks in this NFL draft?

Speaker 1 (01:07:24):
Are they going to play? They're not.

Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
Jeremi Smith does a podcast every single week. His podcast
that came out yesterday, he said he's going to play
in this game, which is what you want to keep
this rivalry intact. There's like a there's so much that
rides on this game, and it's not just like this year.
If Michigan wins this game, they make the playoffs, and
if Ahio State wins. It's like they finally have done

(01:07:46):
something that has taken their national championship away in a
lot of ways. People every time when they won the
NAST championship, they able to celebrate. Everyone's like, yeah, but
you couldn't beat Michigan. You can't beat Michigan and against
a team that had no passing game, made you play
their version of football and you want and you cannot
beat them in a toughness battle, trenches battle. So now

(01:08:09):
Michigan's a better football team they were last year. We
have a quarterback that has gone on Rich Eisen and
said that you've never seen a quarterback like me. Goes
up to Lebron James says, y'all never gonna win again.
He's had a up and down year to say the least.
But our passing game is much better than it was
last year. They bring Matt Patricia from Ohio State. Their
defense is number one in all of college football. And Buddy,

(01:08:33):
as much as it seems like this is Ohio State,
like there's something about the winged helmet and Ryan Day
and his ability, he just goes he gets men in blacked,
his brain goes crazy, and this is I'm just telling you, like,
there's not a whole lot of things you can say,
we have this better, we have that better.

Speaker 1 (01:08:51):
But this game at home, this is Michigan. This is
Michigan winning this game.

Speaker 2 (01:08:59):
There's a worldhere. Michigan wins this game by multiple touchdowns.
I mean Julian saying, is he not a freshman as well?

Speaker 1 (01:09:04):
Sure is plays the first year starter.

Speaker 2 (01:09:06):
He is the first year start as a retro freshman.
Has he had his his freshman game? Has he played
in the game before? No, Like he's in the Heisman conversation.
He's in the Heisman conversation. Completion ready, However, he's got
two aliens, Like there's a world where he just funks up.
The same thing goes for branx under world, Like this
game could go crazy on both sides, but this game,

(01:09:28):
this game wins Michigan regardless of what the line says.

Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
I think he finds out the experience of this game.
But opening freshman quarterback opening with Texas. Obviously seasons played
out how they played out, But that feeling and moment
that he had there, I think he got a taste.
He got a taste to where it's it's not that
this won't be the first time he's feeling something like that,
it'll be the first one because he's experienced the experiencing
the game Texas. It doesn't come close to Michigan. Also,

(01:09:54):
this is like I understand I'm just talking about in
all of sports about for a freshman every.

Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
Day winter, spring, summer, you don't go a day at Michigan,
right Ohio State without hearing like we have to beat
in Ohio States terms the team up north. They're too
scared to even say our name, Like there's a there's
a there's a ticker in the weight room that counts
down to the second when we play as the game,
like you are told about it over and over and
over again. You can't step in these buildings and not

(01:10:23):
spend a couple hours there without hearing about the team
up North or Ohio State any of the stuff. It is, dude,
it's everything, it's everything. We should have won it in
twenty twelve, twenty thirteen. Yeah, now I will say this,
the line is what it is. If you guys want
to go, I'm not going to hold it against you

(01:10:44):
guys for the sake of your record or whatever. Like
there's no there's no bad blood.

Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
That's bate. No. I swear to God.

Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
I swear to God because I know your your computer
is saying the number is just right right now, So.

Speaker 1 (01:11:00):
It's all good.

Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
This doesn't have to be a trenches game where I
need everybody behind Like this is you guys, pick whatever
you want. We've seen how the last four years have gone,
and I expected to stay the status quo for the
last four years. This is not I'm not joking.

Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
I'm taking Michigan with the points, okay, respectfully, because I
am rooting for Michigan. You're my guy. I want to
see this like I would love to see Michigan upset
Ohio State again because as a as a third party,
getting to watch this hate between both fan bases unfold,
it's so entertaining to me. And if it happened again, like,

(01:11:42):
oh my god, there's just I just think. I think
about Ohio State and they're an incredible football team. Outside
of last week the performance you guys had against Maryland,
I'm thinking Michigan, like this game that's about to happen,
Ohio State is going to blow the doors off of
this team. The way you guys played last week and
the momentum that's shifting towards this game. I do believe

(01:12:04):
that Michigan has a shot to win this game. It's
so hard to not sit here and think about the
victory lapse. Similar to a few weeks ago when we
were talking about Alabama Vanderbilt, when the minute they beat Georgia,
there's not even celebration happening because they can't wait to
get their paws on Vanderbilt because of all the circles
that Vandy's been taking around Alabama. This one feels wildly different.

(01:12:29):
You got kids at schools re enacting the scene of
planning the flag in Ohio State, like Ryan Day, like
for the ego of Howe State to get involved in
last year's game and try to win in a certain
way physically because they knew Michigan couldn't run the football
and they wanted to kind of prove a point versus
like going out there and just winning the game and
playing to your strengths and playing Ohio State football then

(01:12:50):
walking away losing that game. This is a game that's
haunted that entire team, you know, obviously for the last
four years, but most importantly this last year year. I
do think Ohio State is just licking their chough to
put try and put both hands to get both hands
around Michigan's throat. But I'm riding with you. I'm taking
Michigan to cover. But just to caution Michigan fans, this,

(01:13:13):
this Ohio State team, in my opinion, is gonna come
out differently. I can't wait to watch this game because again,
I want fireworks, I want chaos. I would love to
see Bryce Underwood have a game because he had a
stretch here before this past week where he didn't throw
for a touchdown in a few games. Like I'd love
to see him have a moment because he is a
specimen of an athlete. Like this running game, continue to improve,
like going against an incredible Matt Patricia defense. Like again,

(01:13:37):
people kind of have a question mark with Ohio State.
They have an easy cupcake schedule, They've taken care of
business against the spread. They kind of handle all these
football teams. I think the biggest thing that it's hard
to just it's hard to talk about a team defensively,
but this defense is for real. I'm excited for this game.
Michigan with the points, this is going to be electric.

(01:13:57):
This is going to be electric.

Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
Ohio State the best rush offense they've played all year
was Penn State and their sixtieth in the country.

Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
There it is Michigan's top ten there it is. Yeah, yeah,
I mean we have six freshmen starting on offense.

Speaker 2 (01:14:13):
We don't have a player on our roster that's ever
lost to Ohio State. And Ohio State they don't have
a player on their roster's ever beaten Michigan. They don't
know the feeling, like you're talking about hands around the throw,
like Alabama knows what it's like to choke out Vanderbilt
with one hand. Ohio State doesn't even know how to
even go about the process to beat this team. They
don't have any player that knows how to do that

(01:14:34):
because they haven't in four years. To the point where
Jack saw seniors last year who could have gone to
the NFL. Multiple stayed for their senior year because we
have to beat Michigan. Michigan has eighteen guys get drafted
by the NFL. We cannot throw the ball and they
still lost at home.

Speaker 1 (01:14:51):
They can't figure it out, and opportunities there, and the
thing that makes this game amazing is, yeah, Michigan won
the last four haw State wins. This next one it's like.

Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
You guys are the king of castle right now, and
there's not like I will sit there with my shell
of a self and say, yeah, but we won the
last four, but it won't mean anything because the last
game that was one was won by Hot State and
that's just how it is.

Speaker 1 (01:15:15):
There's not like you don't own. But with this fan base,
it never stops and never stopped like if a haa
State wins this game, it ain't you're the king of
the castle, like it'll keep going that way. But then
it's just it's Michigan, like if they can't win the Natty,
they'll they'll be back. That's what makes this rivalry awesome.
It's beautiful, so many five stars gonna be this game
club God bless. What do you got on this game?

Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
Josh, I didn't say a word. I sat here ten minutes,
beautifully said. I didn't need to add anything. But I
could put my thumb up to my pulse right now
and it increased a little bit. You know how when
you're sitting down you can feel your heart rate. So
I feel it right now with good reason. Everything you
said about this game beautifully eloquently put it's spot on.

Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
I grew up in the South.

Speaker 3 (01:16:03):
I watched this game from a distance, but I didn't
get to experience it until twenty twenty one.

Speaker 1 (01:16:08):
I've experienced four of these.

Speaker 3 (01:16:10):
Everyone who's been a Michigan win, some say I'm responsible
for the street. I don't say that's some say that
I don't say that. So I've said I have a
Michigan problem. This has been the Michigan problem. I've picked
against them four years in a row. I've had really,
really good logic. But last year was the one that
really messed me up a little bit because last year,
if you put yourself in the shoes of Ryan Day.

Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
Of Chip Kelly, of Jim Knowles.

Speaker 3 (01:16:36):
Like, you've got an all star cast of coaches, you've
got all your players returning, you've got an all star
cast of players, You've got home field, you've got sun like,
weather's not going to be an issue. I remember the
forecast was bad earlier in the weekend. Then it clears
up and it's sunny it kickoff, so that's not going
to get in your way. And you're favored by three touchdowns.

(01:16:57):
That was supposed to be like an afternoon.

Speaker 1 (01:16:59):
That was a coronation.

Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
It was supposed to be an afternoon where you know,
Buckeye fans kind of came together. We're gonna have a
fun four quarters in the shoe. You know, we'll beat Michigan.
We'll finally get the stupid little streak out of the way,
and then we'll go on to the playoff. When the
game started to unfold last year the way it did,
and then it you know, you're still like it's a
close score at halftime. But I was in college station
because I was going to the Texas game, and I'm

(01:17:22):
thinking to myself in the hotel room, they're gonna pull
away in the second half, Like good for Michigan though,
for making this a fight.

Speaker 2 (01:17:28):
And I'm sitting there at halftime, like, hey, this has
been amazing, but the Jasse probably pull away in the
second half, Like every logical person in the world thinks.

Speaker 3 (01:17:35):
That because you hadn't played a great game. Michigan didn't
even play a great game. That was the thing I
took away from it is Michigan like clunked their way
to a win as a three touchdown favorite, which meant
Ohio State like there was something mental at that point
where they really couldn't get over the hump and win.
That game went into the fourth quarter. Pucker meter goes eight,
nine pucker meters at ten, and then you throw a

(01:17:57):
pick down near the goal line. That's supposed to be ballgame.
Michigan got close. This was a way bigger scare than
we thought it was going to be. But Jack Sawyer
picked it off. That's why you're a senior, That's why
you come back. That's his moment. He just defined his legacy.
This team's about to define their legacy. Three and out,
Michigan against the ball, A couple of key third down conversions,

(01:18:18):
kick the field goal, Ohio State's done. I've never been
more shocked, I don't think, given the circumstances, given the stakes,
I don't think I've ever been more shocked watching the
outcome of a game. And then I had to go
on air the next day because I had picked Ohio
State for the fourth year in a row, and I
had to own it. And I swore to myself that day,
don't care what's spread is next year, don't care what

(01:18:40):
the dynamics are.

Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
I will take Michigan. I've never wavered off that. I
don't care.

Speaker 3 (01:18:44):
I could give you thirty seven reasons why Ohio State
should win this game. I could have given you fifty
seven last year. I will no longer be proven wrong
by Michigan winning this game. If I'm going to be
proven wrong, it's going to because Ryan Day and Ohio
State frankly do what they should do. I'll take Michigan
to cover. I'll take Michigan to win a game and
have no problem doing it.

Speaker 1 (01:19:05):
Eighty two chance of.

Speaker 3 (01:19:07):
Snow in this game, Saturday high of thirty degrees and
twos Michigan football.

Speaker 1 (01:19:14):
And you know, because Ohio State they've been wildly successful,
like again, they'll be in the same position again next year,
I'm sure. But losing again to Michigan for a fifth
time in a row, that's a half decade we own
them then, that that is it's truly become a game
where yeah, throw like throw everything out the window, like

(01:19:36):
you don't know, Like there's this team. Now you can
start talking about curses, you can start talking about this,
that and the other game already nobody can wrap their mind.
Yeah yeah, yeah, but again, if it happens again, I
don't see. I don't see how you get out of it.
Maybe just a straight up trade. There was a coach like,
do you think Ryan Day being fired gets brought up

(01:19:58):
again if they can't beat Michigan.

Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
Which is crazy and I love love for you to
talk about the article you read. But there's a coach
from Ohio State. His last name is Cooper.

Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
I believe John Cooper, John Cooper.

Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
He had an incredible record as state, incredible. He went
one and four against Michigan, and he got fired because
the standard is to beat Michigan at a hot state.

Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (01:20:17):
Yeah, lost his job because he had I think he
had nine ten win seasons, couldn't beat up, couldn't beat Michigan,
and he got fired because that Ryan Day's record versus
Michigan one and.

Speaker 1 (01:20:27):
Four, Yeah, man, he could have there. There was the
worst record of ine Ohio State coach. There was a
there was an article last week that was essentially he
was breaking down Jim Trussell's record than how Urban Meyer
takes over at Ohia State. Urbamia does what he does
at Ohia State. And then the whole Ryan Day being
on third base like he's taken on a program where
who knows it because he's going to live up to

(01:20:48):
the standard. And the article basically proving right that Ryan
Day didn't live up to the standard. He exceeded it
and created a new standard for how much he's woned
Ohio State. But yeah, even that, Like for fans who
I think we're talking way too much about this game,
they don't get it, and yeah, they don't get it,
or they just hate And I see that, Like I
understand that world where you just hate seeing the Ohio

(01:21:09):
State fans and Michigan fans and all this pompous back
and forth arrogance. They're all hating each other saying X,
Y and Z. If you can just remove yourself from
that and see this game, for yeah, this is the
best rivalry for you never know what's gonna happen. It's
all the history behind it, the ten year war. Coaches
truly like it will It would get brought up. It

(01:21:31):
will get brought up Michigan beats Ohio State this weekend, like, hey,
do you fire Ryan day All because you can't beat
one football team. I'm gonna tell you that everybody across
the board hates they hate each other.

Speaker 3 (01:21:44):
I'm gonna tell you I don't like years from now,
when I think back about the twenty twenty four Ohio
State team, it would be impossible for me to think
about the national title without thinking about the Michigan game.

Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
Right, And you would? You would.

Speaker 3 (01:21:56):
You could come back at me and say, well, do
you say that about any other team that lost the game?

Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
No, no other team plays a game like this.

Speaker 3 (01:22:02):
That's but Ryan I have set every spring I go
to Columbus, Ohio. Every spring, I sit face to face
with Ryan Day. The past four years, I've asked him
about this game. The past four years, He's looked me
dead in the eye and says, that's part of being
the head coach at Ohio State. If you can't beat them,
that's part of it. I gotta wear that. I've got
to accept that. Like I'll give him credit. He's never

(01:22:24):
run from it, like he's never ducked it, so he
gets it. That's part of being Ohio State. When you
commit there, you know Michigan's on the schedule every year.
You know what the dynamic of that rivalry is.

Speaker 1 (01:22:34):
They don't take.

Speaker 3 (01:22:35):
Kids that don't get it, nor do they at Michigan.
So it fundamentally alters my viewpoint of your season. If
you lose this game, no matter what you do the
rest of the way. And I know, like a lot
of Ohio State fans tried to comfort themselves because they
went on to win the national championship, so they tried
to like devalue the impact of the loss. If it

(01:22:57):
were Michigan in that position, Ohio State fans will be
saying the same thing I'm saying right now. So it's
it's just the logo that you're wearing on the chest
that makes you take the respective side, because you know, goodwell,
if you're an Ohio State fan and you've run up
four in a row on them, but otherwise they're rolling,
and otherwise they went on to win a national championship,
you'd beat the first ones to say couldn't beat us, though, Man,

(01:23:17):
I mean, what does it really mean if you can't
win your biggest game? But then there's this man made
playoff because this game God created this game. Man created
the playoff. Okay, so you can't win the game that's natural.
You can't win the game that's been there since the
dinosaurs room of the earth. Basically, Yeah, I mean, we
created this college football playoff and it's really corporatized, and
you played in like these sanitized neutral site NFL environments.

(01:23:39):
Good for you. You got a third chance, you lost two games.
Because they expanded the playoff, you got another shot, and
finally your third time around the Merry go round, it
clicked for you, but you couldn't beat us. You'd be
saying that to Michigan. If you were an Ohio State
fan and you had lost four or and you'd won
four in a row, you'd be saying that to Michigan.
So I'm just telling you my viewpoint on it. I
grew up in Harris County, Georgia. I had no allegiance

(01:24:00):
to either team. It fundamentally impacts my view of a
team when they lose this game, no matter what they
achieve the rest of the way.

Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
That's how big the game is. Hell yeah, awesome. I
can't wait.

Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
And I just want to give advice, Like if you're
if you're up there, you know, and if you're an
Ohio State fan, you're a Michigan fan and you win
the game, congrats to you in advance. If someone says
hey to you in the airport, shut them up a
little bit after shut them up, You never know them
could be around the corner.

Speaker 1 (01:24:30):
We're going to get into the rest of rivalry weekend
with this rapid fire Ish segment. We have what eleven game? Yeah?
We eleven games to go? All right, the first one up?

Speaker 5 (01:24:41):
Do you want me to go through them?

Speaker 1 (01:24:42):
Yeah? Go ahead, michol Bultra Superior is worth playing for.
Right now? The record is I'm up? Is it seven
to six? Or am I up? I'm up to? Right? Eight?
I think I think Taylor's up to I'm eight and
six against will time out of time out. Now he's healthy.
Now now it's time to take the governor off on

(01:25:04):
this one. Oh yeah, now you gotta take me out?
Do you want to do the whole I'm going this? No, no, no, no,
because that one's like again you were we were talking
potential surgery. We were talking potential yeah yeah, this could
creep up to a smart big yeah yeah. Right, okay,
so you're healthy, you're walking. What is the record? Eight
and six?

Speaker 2 (01:25:19):
So right now eight six Superior's worth playing for, Michelobultrum.

Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
Yes, I needed that one. I need that Superiors worth
playing for. Happy Thanksgiving?

Speaker 5 (01:25:32):
All right, first game up? We got number four Georgia
at number twenty three Georgia Tech Georgia is thirteen and
a half point favorites over under fifty nine and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:25:41):
So this game is considered clean, old fashioned hate. In
eighteen ninety one, the first known hostilities with these two programs,
Georgia the University of Georgia. Their schools magazine declared the
colors to be old gold, black and crimson for Georgia,
and then they're one of their first coaches, his name

(01:26:02):
is doctor Charles Hurdy, felt gold, the coach for Georgia,
felt gold was too similar to yellow and the yellow
symbolized cowardice. Georgia Tech chooses old gold and white as
they as like a slap in the face to Georgia.
And then after their game and eighteen ninety three, two
years later, after this magazine and choosing the old gold

(01:26:22):
and hey it's cowardice, Georgia Tech chooses old gold as
one of their colors to slap George in the face.
They play in eighteen ninety three, Georgia Tech wins, and
coach Charles Hurdy, the coach for Georgia Bulldogs, removed the
old gold from their school's colors.

Speaker 3 (01:26:38):
You don't see official, you don't see teams changing their
colors anymore after a loss.

Speaker 1 (01:26:42):
Eighteen ninety three, I love it.

Speaker 2 (01:26:45):
I'm so glad you went through and did this while
George Kittle is body bag fires me up. I'm taking Georgia. Yea,
Georgia and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:26:54):
They're playing this game in Mercedes ben Stadium. Yes, they
are to give Georgia Tech twelve million extra dollars. The
trade off is gonna be George is gonna win the
game of cover and may be very they may be
right back in that building the next week to play
conference title game.

Speaker 1 (01:27:06):
Yeah, beautiful, ACC man.

Speaker 5 (01:27:08):
Next game number thirteen, Miami at number twenty four, Pitt
Miami six and a half point favorites over under fifteen
and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:27:14):
You boys take it. I got to do a forecast
check right quick. I'm gonna take so not a whole
lot of fun facts. This isn't like like Miami's rivalries
or is Florida State. Pitt believes they're in a rivalry
with Penn State Notre Dame. So these two schools playing
this is just like this just an ACC game. I'm
gonna take Pitt to cover here plus six and a half.

Speaker 2 (01:27:32):
I'm one and one betting against Pitt. We're gonna find
it on Saturday. I'm going to Miami minus six and
a half.

Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
Carlson Beck. Big game, big, big game on the line.
How is it gonna be in these big games?

Speaker 3 (01:27:45):
So everything's on the line from Miami here, we saw
Notre Dame go up there and handle Pitt. We've got
temperatures in the mid thirties. Here slight chance of afternoon
snow showers. We're gonna watch Miami in frigid conditions with
their season on the line. Just went up to Virgin
Unia Tech and handled business. Second consecutive road game, seventh
consecutive game they're playing. I've had this one circled all year.

(01:28:06):
I've been worried about them. But I will take Miami
to win and cover.

Speaker 5 (01:28:11):
Next game, Arizona at Arizona State, Arizona one and a
half point favorites over under forty eight and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:28:18):
Known as the Duel in the Desert. They played for
the Territorial Cup. It's the oldest rivalry trophy in college football.
It's been known to have a lot of different nicknames,
the Battle of Arizona, the Grand Canyon Rivalry. Not to
be confused with Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. Because I
was just about to say that, okay, yea desert Wars,
Cactus War, the Phoenix and Tucson Rivalry. The reason it

(01:28:39):
was called the Phoenix and Tucson Rivalry was due to
both schools being located in the state's two largest metropolitan areas,
with Arizona State being in Timpe Phoenix East suburb and
Arizona located within the Tucson city limits. I have Arizona
this game. I'm taking Arizona State, coach Dillingham. I arrived
with you brother. Also Charlie Ragel. Yeah, have you heard

(01:29:00):
about Charlie Now.

Speaker 2 (01:29:02):
I was watching one of the games the other day
and like someone was stepping in as a special teams coach.
Apparently Charlie Ragl was having health issues. He's got a
step away.

Speaker 1 (01:29:08):
I called him, texted him, no response back, So I
have no idea how Charlie's doing. Oh damn, it's heartbreaking. Yeah,
you speak hy, You've told some good skills. I'm without Charlie.
I'm not. I'm not in a position I was in football, So.

Speaker 3 (01:29:21):
Definitely I think the wrong team's favorite here. Arizona State
is going to win this game handedly.

Speaker 1 (01:29:25):
Right here to coffee place one of those little little
bluck boys.

Speaker 5 (01:29:29):
Next game, Clemson at South Carolina JP will be in attendance.
UH South Carolina's minus two and a half over under
forty six and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:29:39):
The Palmetto Bowl. It ran uninterrupted from nineteen oh nine
to twenty nineteen, making it the second largest our second
longest continuous rivalry in Division one football, only behind Minnesota
and Wisconsin. And why they had to why it stopped
in twenty nineteen.

Speaker 2 (01:29:59):
Covid up Minnesota. They have a trophy game against it.
I think everybody it's Florida Rosdale against Iowa. It's the
greatest trophy in sports.

Speaker 1 (01:30:08):
It's the only trophy I've got on my set. South
Carolina taking him to win and cover people have died in.

Speaker 3 (01:30:14):
This Robberry, by the way, it's the way it should be.

Speaker 1 (01:30:17):
Gp Like they do the tiger burn. Is it called
tiger burn? Tiger burn? And then they do like a
mock funeral for the cock. And in two thousand and
seven in an ocean house, I want to say they
were doing the tiger burn. It caught fired people. Yeah,
there were casualties. Could I just did they do it again?
I believe they taught they switched it to tear down

(01:30:38):
the tiger. The tiger teardown or something like that. Guys
they got back to Bernie do what Yeah, yeah, it
only happened that year. When that happened, they're like, all right,
let's just do the Tiger tear down. And then the
next year they went back to the Tiger burn probably
lost hunh.

Speaker 3 (01:30:53):
Wow, Terry Bowden Right, Tommy Bouten, Tommy Bouten, you have
never really lived until you've listened to when William Coompton,
dead serious talk about a funeral for the cock and
then you glance over and Clay Matthew's mouth is wide open.

Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
What they had a what for a what? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:31:12):
My fun you know he went six and zero on
our NFL show. Well, it's a lot of favorite money lines,
so no reason to clap. I'm gonna take South Carolina.
This is a ride with JP, This is you ride
with your boys.

Speaker 1 (01:31:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
Do you feel like you owe it to him? Because
I feel like I owe it to him?

Speaker 1 (01:31:35):
Uh? Yeah, I don't. I think I don't own nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:31:40):
I owe it to you. I love you. I've I've
said some things that make you deflate. I've said something
that makes you go, man, what are you talking about?
I'm picking South Carolina to win. Shane's got to have this.
Clemson has been hot, but that's okay. People thought they
were last year.

Speaker 1 (01:31:55):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:31:55):
South Carolina will win this game at home. They will
defend the cockpit.

Speaker 1 (01:31:59):
Also, I don't know if you heard the court here.
This is this is insanity. It's way different, it's way differ.
Did you give your pick? Did you give?

Speaker 2 (01:32:09):
Is not a real rivalry. It's not a real rivalry.
Next game, because Vanderbilt is good this year.

Speaker 5 (01:32:14):
Tennis Florida State Florida State at Florida Florida minus one
and a half favorites, fifty one and a half over under.

Speaker 1 (01:32:21):
These two teams first met in nineteen to fifty eight
and have played every year except twenty twenty. Dude to Covid,
I'll take Florida. I'm gonna take Florida State. Wow, you
like what you've seen from them lately? Huh Yeah, I
kind of like it a lot, and just knowing like
there's just just also bad taste in my mouth with

(01:32:41):
clump and this Florida bullshit and this fandom and trolling
and they got mopped by Tennessee. Like that's a good point. Fuck,
I'm just taking Florida State. You know, we've seen they
played in Friday last week. This is the punt.

Speaker 3 (01:32:55):
Oh, yes, we're special teams exchange they're dead.

Speaker 1 (01:32:58):
Yeah, i'll take. I'll take. You're going to Florida.

Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
We've seen some coaches sign extensions, like Luke Fickle signed
his extension, and all of a sudden, Wisconsin starts winning games.
So they did announce they're going to bring Mike Norvell back.
The statement essentially read, we can't afford to fire you yet,
we're gonna let you hang around one more year. A
little more worriedy than that, but that was the gist
of it. The model, for some reason, and I don't
know why, has this as like a sixty percent cover

(01:33:25):
probability for Florida State. So that reason, and that reason
alone is why I'm tailing you. Because I feel terrible
about this terrible So this game.

Speaker 1 (01:33:34):
I wrote down all the spreads and everything else this
game right here. I have both team circle yep, because
I do you know, I'm thinking, actually think you put
a next through both teams. But I'm gonna tall. I'm
so tired of this game not mattering. This game should
be a huge game. I know Florida State. I'll take them.

Speaker 5 (01:33:49):
Next game UCLA at number nineteen USC USC minus twenty
one and a half over under fifty nine and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:33:56):
So I searched far and wide for a fun fact
on this game, and this is this is all I got.
It is annually anticipated as the biggest college football game
in the state of North Carolina. Oh North Carolina. All right, wait,
you're doing my U c l A U s C
U n C H Is this U c l A

(01:34:16):
U s C. Behore my fault hold on my next one?
On my Look, that's fair Florida state. This is when
George came in and just we'll hock the world with me. Yeah,
uh so, which one is this? U C L A
U s C before you give it? Nothing on this team?

(01:34:38):
Nothing on this, I'll think the Trojans. I'll think the Trojans.

Speaker 2 (01:34:42):
Let me see if I circled anything much different team
at home, such a dominant team at home.

Speaker 1 (01:34:46):
There we go another one. U C l A U
s C. Both circled. So I don't really what's the
model think on this?

Speaker 3 (01:34:52):
U c L A plus the points thinks USC wins
comfortably U c L A plus the points If it's
twenty one, what are we getting?

Speaker 1 (01:34:57):
What number? We getting? Twenty one and a half. I'll
take you cl I'll take Ucla. I didn't realize it
was twenty one out u Cla plus. It's gonna win
though by two touchdowns. Ucla plus the points.

Speaker 5 (01:35:06):
Now will North Carolina at NC State.

Speaker 3 (01:35:09):
Headed the biggest game in California annually?

Speaker 1 (01:35:12):
Here I searched far and wide for some fun facts
on this game, and this is all I have. It
is annually anticipated as the biggest college football game in
the state of North Carolina. Wow, let's see what I
got here. I don't have anybody circled. I have on
the on the right, I have underwritten out. I'm taking
the under forty eight and a half? Is you runner?

Speaker 3 (01:35:34):
This is actually one of my favorite bets of the week.
I love North Carolina plus the points.

Speaker 1 (01:35:37):
I'll think plus points yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:35:40):
Next game number five, Oregon at Washington, Oregon is minus
six and a half over under fifty one and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:35:46):
The Cascade Clash, the Fight for the Forest. They played
for the John Barry Cup. It is one out of
twenty five of the most played rivalries in football history.
Started in nineteen hundred and in nineteen eleven, a quarterback
by the name of we Coil executed the bunk play.
The bunk play where he took off his leather helmet,

(01:36:08):
his yeah, his leather headset, hit it under his shirt
and pretended that that was the ball, and that's why
we were got him. You got him, They got him.

Speaker 2 (01:36:21):
Last week, I said that Oregon Dan Lenny does not
make a habit of covering. He's heard us a lot
on the show. He obviously proved me wrong texted him.
Solo said, Hey, good Win, way to cover. Just thumbs
up it. So I will take Oregon minus six and
a half.

Speaker 1 (01:36:35):
What's the model like here?

Speaker 3 (01:36:37):
Party kind of likes Washington model thinks the numbers about right.

Speaker 1 (01:36:41):
Jetfish's name is out there for some jobs just Steph
Wyatt's a.

Speaker 3 (01:36:45):
Little quieter, but jet If look, if I'm gonna mention
Lincoln Riley's name, I gotta mention everyone's name only to
be fair. Jetfish's name is out there. I think Oregon
kinda you know, like the downhill momentum thing is real
with them. This is a tough tri up up there.
I think defensively they're gonna limit Washington enough. I'll take
Oregon to win and I'll take them to cover anything

(01:37:06):
under a touchdown. And I will say I sat in
Oregon's team meetings Friday, and a lot of the talk
that you know, people like you have been doing about
their inability to cover it's been heard. Oh god, it's
been heard.

Speaker 1 (01:37:20):
Love that I'll go Oregon as well. Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving.

Speaker 5 (01:37:24):
Next game, LSU at number eight Oklahoma Oklahoma minus ten
and a half over under thirty six and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:37:30):
Cool, no real history here, fun facts, Oklahoma minus ten
and a half. Okay, My notes here say Oklahoma na
ist ten and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:37:38):
I think Oklahoma woman my two touchdowns. LSU seasons completely
mailed in half. The players aren't playing, and I mean
they got to go to Oklahoma for this game. I
don't even think they're interested in making the trip. The
newness has worn off a little. Interim coach Sugar High
has worn off, wore off quickly. I'll take Oklahoma. LSU
may not score ten and a half, so I think
Oklahoma covers ten and a half. Is this one of

(01:37:59):
your favorite bet It's not one of my favorites. Only
fifty two percent cover probability, but I personally like it. Okay,
he's freeing my boy. I know I talk about my
dad that way all the time.

Speaker 5 (01:38:11):
Second, the last game, Virginia Tech at number seventeen, Virginia
Virginia minus nine and a half over under fifty two
and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:38:17):
Is this a chaos game? I like a chaos game.
I like Virginia Tech here to cover any notes. No,
that's that's bullshit on me. I'll ride for chaos. I'll
do Virginia Tech to cover. I'll take Virginia Tech to cover.
Think Virginia wins by about six or seven. Final game

(01:38:40):
thirty the Commonwealth Clash. So what's referred to as.

Speaker 5 (01:38:46):
The final game on the slate Iowa at Nebraska Iowa
minus six and a half over under thirty nine and
a half.

Speaker 1 (01:38:58):
Underlooks good. Under looks good, so does Nebraska to cover.
Fun fact about Iowa. Nebraska's people can stand in bowl
states by straddling the line in the middle of the
Bobkerry pedestrian bridge over the Missouri River. Who's amongst us?
Fun fact?

Speaker 2 (01:39:15):
Who was born in the fifty states that are connected?
And you can probably do.

Speaker 1 (01:39:18):
That in most of them lie, but not on a bridge,
a bridge not over the Missouri River. Have you heard
about the four corners? Yeah? Okay, who was born four states?
You were born in Missouri. What's Willy C's record against
Iowa as a player as a player, Three and one,
two and oh Nebraska plus six and a half. Nebraska

(01:39:42):
money just like last week, Nebraska money line for Willy C.
For the people out there, everything else going on. Nebraska
to cover.

Speaker 5 (01:39:49):
Will is one and eight betting with Nebraska this year,
but two.

Speaker 1 (01:39:52):
And oh against Iowa as a player. Yeah, that was
that was crazy.

Speaker 5 (01:39:56):
That was a stat that clumps whispered in my ear,
you know.

Speaker 1 (01:40:00):
Clumps clumps in deep water with this whole entire company
right now? How am I one and eight? What's my one?
What's my one? I think it was Michigan? Which one
did I win? You guys are favored by two and
a half, and you guys won by three.

Speaker 6 (01:40:17):
Nebraska plus one and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:40:19):
Wock boy. Listen, I'm gonna get.

Speaker 5 (01:40:26):
Will Josh.

Speaker 1 (01:40:26):
What do you pay? All right? Taylor Josh? They covered
against us?

Speaker 2 (01:40:31):
C Oh no, no, whats this is it?

Speaker 1 (01:40:38):
Man. I'll climb in with you. I'll climb in with you. Nebraska.
You ain't in Nebraska, Hey, you ain't a Nebraska.

Speaker 3 (01:40:43):
Guy, give me Iowa. Give me Iowa lay the points. No,
I can't do it. Give me Nebraska. You're undefeated against
them as a player. Give me Nebraska fifty six percent
cover prop give me Nebraska six and a half. Right, yeah,
give me Nebraska.

Speaker 2 (01:40:59):
Okay, I'll take Nebraska as well because boys, Yeah, I
will Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:41:03):
Sawah heyweek GBR. That's the show. Great show, great show,
great show, big uck sidy kisses lead comments. We talked
about a lot of games. There's only one that matters.
Happy Thanksgiving, travel, safe tonight today, and let's win them
all this weekend them all.
