having some locker room banter, and we have our NFL
Week seven slate Rams at Jaguars that's out in London.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
That is out in London. Note that.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Note that phillyot Minnesota, Indianapolis out in LA against the
Chargers Atlanta at San Francisco, Houston at Seattle, Tampa Bay
at Detroit. Last week. Here's how the record shook up.
Only one winning guy on the on the board. Go
ahead and read that one four and two. Everybody is
kind of close except for one guy, and his name
is Delaney than Mule Walker. He's fourteen and twenty two

(00:50):
on the season. He hasn't won. I don't think one week.
I don't think he's getting better. Maybe this is somebody
you look at if you look at all these records. Oh,
Taylor's doing a great job though the season. He's twenty
and sixteen. Willie c has been hot the last few
weeks since he shaved his head. He's twenty and sixteen.
You look at Clay, he's fifty percent right now. But
if you look at Delaney and this is the one
I want you to focus on. If you are a
fader here, you are twenty two and fourteen, which is

(01:13):
the best record amongst the group. We're gonna have a
hell of a show. We're gonna have a lot of fun.
Thank you for being here. Let's have some fun.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Nice jacket, Thank you listen. I might have been one
in five my NFL picks, but I'm one to know
in my eyes that's with this big Trojan victory over
the Wolverines, I'm so proud to be a Trojan today.
I mean, what a win. Yeah, Malakai Lemon probably gonna
be a top five pick. Maybe go walk on King.
I don't even know his last name, just calling him
King Rushes for what one fifty Yep, big win. They

(03:10):
should give him scholarship today.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
He should have a twin brother, does he yep? Six
foot two hundred and niney pound. I shouldhim during the enme,
did you watch the game?

Speaker 4 (03:18):
I watched it, but I was like celebrating too much.
I didn't really notice the intricacies in the nuances.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Going on out there. Congratulations you guys, you guys whooped
our ass.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Well, thank you.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
You had such an opportunity I did.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
But yeah, listen, man, you know, I just they they've
let me down on defense before, if I'm just being honest, USC,
but they played well, hundred dames, run faster you guys
are doing this weekend. And then hey, that's a big one.
That's a big one. And then what we got Nebraska
after that week?

Speaker 1 (03:47):
And then Nebraska that seems like a big bet waiting
to happen.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Huh, possibly the US. He is a tough.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Football that's a damn good football FAUL team right, so nice?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah he fits.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
If you took if you just said, we'll take that
game plan into every single game throughout the rest of
the year. You're probably gonna win last your games like
that is it hurts me to say that that was incredible.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Do you think USC has a chance gets Notre Dame?
I mean South Bend's been tough.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Yeah, I think Notre Name runs the Man coverage more
than any LA program.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
I love them this.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Weekend, and you loved them last weekend too. You were
the only one on this show.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I called the whole game.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
That's why when we was walking out and you guys
are trying to find a bet, and I just looked
at you.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
I said, Clay, I'm telling you should be confident on
this bet.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
You did tell me that. Well, I feel confident in
this jacket right now.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
You look good.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Thank you. These colors look good. Hey, get sitting in
the closet.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
For a side story.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Go ahead.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
So I'm at the park. Is it Sunday morning? I
got the kiddos at the park. Scotty's sleeping in the
truck and Ru's playing on the slide, so I'm kind
of balancing both back and forth.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
I cracked the window. Don't don't worry.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
I cracked the no go ahead. My wife is only
about it. I was like, sweetheart, this is a bond
Tera special. Like people come to the party and be, oh,
where's the kid? I always sleep taking a nap on
the car. All right, I guess that's normal. So I'm
sitting there. It's like Scotty just fell asleep. So I'm like,
all right, Carlas, crack the wind. I'll put it halfway down.
I'm standing right there by the you know, the slide
and everything else. But anyway, a gentleman run up to me.

(05:19):
I recognize him. This is one of the this is
one of my park dads. This is a little crew
that we always know we're going to be there. He
comes up and he's like, hey, I'm the head coach
that whooped Clay Matthews and the champions.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Oh wow, those are his words exactly, something like something,
but that's what he said.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
I was like, listen, Clay's been losing sleep over this,
and he he was. He was like you know what
he did? He said, you didn't want to accept the
second place trophy.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Your prize.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
I didn't take it.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yeah, he's got it sitting on his shelf too.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
He took first dances and.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Just let Clay know we had his number. That's shots fire. Damn.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
I appreciate you providing the fuel. I don't know if
that really happened, because I don't think it did. We
got a respect, But as a competitor, I'm logging it
all away.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
To a weekend.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
We were the Halloween party this weekend. Your game was
brought up.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
The flag football multiple people. I'm telling you like, it's hey,
I didn't get the invite.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Me or.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
They only want us on the show, but invite us
to Theotober fan wild one.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
That's got nothing to do with well, that's all.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
We got families too, lots of kids. We got family. Damn.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
That up to that's where we met the Achod's farm.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
And Lauren didn't give me an invite.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
That's where I was hoping you go with it. Yeah,
she didn't invite me.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
I'm over here asking her head you I'm over he's
on the road to come out.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
He was there.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
How's your pregnancy going? You know, oh you look great?
This and that. Can't get an invite, bab You can
blame my brain on.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
TTE, but I also say you're right because I juiced
that up. I told him.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
I was like, hey, if you don't mind, I'm gonna
juice thisself for Clay. But he was like, he's like, bro,
it was so funny watching how frustrated he was getting.
And he's like, and by the way, all the parents
give him shit. He's like, it's such bullshit. He's like,
he does such a great job with the kids. The
patience he has, the focus, he getting, the attention he
gives like each one, and I know he's taking a

(07:31):
lot of taking a lot of bulls. There's a lot
of you know, there's some message boards going on there
where it's like maybe you don't carry fourteen kids on
the roster. But he was saying, he was like, he's like, man,
he's like, Clay does such a good job with those kids.
And he's like, I'm close with all of my parents
and the kids that are playing, so I'm like a
little harder. I can kind of get after the kids
a little bit more because he's like, he's got great

(07:51):
relationships with everybody. And he's like, but Clay, you can
just tell he just stays poised. Like he's like if
you have a kid and they're playing for coach Matthew's
like you get it's good of a job as anybody.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Well, it's like I did handle that ass.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
But.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
Something like that, just the question did he play all
his kids?

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Hey, so's he's only got eight kids on his team,
so they play like they don't rotate. So I'm over
here trying to rotate.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
You know, I got parents because him, they got a
coaching tree. Now Himarento Cobb, like they was coaching the
team last year. Now coach Cob, he's broke off. He
takes the first graders, Clay has the kindergartens, and I'm
kind of asking coach Cob like how he kind of
breaks it down. He's like, well, we're seven on seven kindergartens,
five on five. He's like, well, Clay, he hurt himself
as he carried like fourteen on the roster. He said,

(08:36):
you got a cap it.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
At some point I was I was trying to be fair.
At the beginning the year, had sixteen kids sign up.
I said, how do I make this fair if I
split into two teams and say, oh, you got an
eight team and a B team. So I tried, against
my better judgement, kept too many kids, and then it
came back to buy me but you know what I'm
I'm I'm on the up and up now. I think
as we move forward, we have a competitive team, we
have a developmental team. It's not an eight team and

(08:58):
B team. And it depends what the parents want for
the kids. If you want your kid, you know, playtime
might be fair, might not be fair. Your kid might
only play offense or defense, he might not play you know,
who knows what it is. And then you have the
developmental where you know, you go out and wins and losses.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Something that pitched to the league because we were talking
to Keithley and Greg and kind of asking them their
opinion on Clay and I rotating enough kids in YadA YadA.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
We don't.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
We don't come across that because they have like a
like a they have like a twelve play game before
the game actually starts. So that was twelfth like a scrimmage, srimage.
Kids who might not might not play a lot. They
get twelve plays. Each offense gets twelve plays, and they
just play a short little game.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Before well this one you bring, you bring your team,
So it's not I think it's a they call WRECT
league or something where you're just giving random kids you know,
you can form your team, so really it's up to
the coaches. But it was a learning lesson. Yeah, I'm
glad that you know, my legacy is is living on
only a few short years in the coaching. But it's fun.
I have a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
He was grinning hear to year. He's like my boys.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
I got a lot of respect for that. I got
a lot of respect for that coach and their team.
His son is a studd. He's the one who beat us.
He lined up at quarterback. I had him schemed all game,
but they made some adjustments at halftime.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
He didn't have so not out.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
Coach just just put our corners in a little bit
of a blender. But we we ran out of steam
at the end, because you know what I'm saying, Hey,
though Matthews was playing safety, he was spying him all game,
ran for three touchdowns. Just at the end, we just
we just ran out of gas. They either made more
plays than we did or we didn't make enough plays.
You know, however, you want to look at.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Hop history for you and your playing career and your
coaching career aren't paralleled. Because you've said it. It's when
you you early in your coaching career, you're playing career.
You get to the super Bowl after that.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
But we won the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
To go back.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
We're close. We're close a couple of times. I'd rather
be close than you know, have my season in December
twenty ninth or whatever it is. Every year occurs that
to the.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
One game we got the Rams. I guess at the Jags,
I don't know if that's a fair move to take
away a home game from them, but whatever.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Jacksonville is the home team.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
The home team.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Rams are favored minus three. Total in that game is
forty four and a half points. Let me lay it
out for you guys, real quick. No, pooka nakua. Yes,
Jacksonville coming off a loss. I like Jacksonville in this
team to cover man good.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
That's good. Hell yeah it is.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
It is okay my turn Yeah. I think the Jags
that'd been one of the biggest surprises in the league,
and that's mainly because of the turnovers they create last
week bar Seattle, zero turnovers.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Great at taking care of the football is great.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
And if there's anything about that defense where they give
up a little too much. Twenty twenty four, Jacksonville gave
up the most passing yards this year, third worst, giving
up the third most passing yards. Guess who leads the
league in passing yards this year? Who Oh, Matthew Stafford
of the LA Ram. Now he doesn't that poop, he
doesn't have pooka. But you saw what that defense did
last week. Defense home, defense is good. Got a lot

(12:02):
of young talent energy, and what I was surprised about.
I'm gonna just take you back to the prior week
where the Buccaneers went out to Seattle. Seattle couldn't get
any pass rush on Baker Mayfield. I think he got
hit one time, one pressure through for three hundred you
know whatever he did up there. But this past week,
that Seattle pass rush, I want to say, seven sacks

(12:22):
they got after Trevor Lawrence pressured on fifty percent of
his his drop back passes. So I look at that
continuing with the Rams and the pass rush they have
verse Firron Young second in the league in sacks, and
you know, as an All Pro Pro Bowl inside linebacker,
I got I got to give a shout out to
Nate Landman, you know what I'm saying, like just an
absolute dog setting the franchise record with seventeen tackles. I

(12:45):
just I wanted to say that as you know, just
an inside backers just giving props out because I don't
know if you guys, like anyone else could see that,
but I did.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
And especially reading guard to guard when you're in the
middle linebacker, hey.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
S ball like balls?

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Yeah, just your name these Pro Bowls?

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Who are you taking?

Speaker 5 (13:06):
I'm not actually going with the Rams just I know
Pooka was hurt. I was questioning. It's just knowing that
Pooka won't be out there, but seeing what the Rams
defense is doing with that defensive front getting after it,
I feel like Trevor Lawrence is gonna be put in
the fucking Bowl and those dudes are gonna contain them
in And obviously the offense is still on fire. You

(13:27):
still got guys out there that can make plays on
the Rams. And having a quarterback like that is what's
the running back from Michigan? Is he gonna play Blake?
He was balling last week until he took that injury.
You think he goes out, He's out this week. They
got Kyron I know, I know, but having that due
but having that duels because they both they kind of similar.

(13:48):
But a little different. I think that gives that run
game a lot, a lot of purpose. But I gotta
go with the Rams. I just think that defense is
gonna be stout and that school will win this game
against the Jaguars in London.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
It's gonna be that defensive front.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
They only allow eighteen point three points a game, so
I think that's gonna be big.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
You went Rams, I got Rams.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
You take Jacksonville with the points here they are, they
have three points. They also they're like the home team
in London. They're three and one in their last four
since twenty twenty. Basically, they're three and one out in London.
They did lose their most recent one last year. But
I think this team's learning how to win. You had
a massive win against Kansas City. You drop one last
week against Seattle, who Seattle is a really good van team.

(14:31):
And McDonald's defense is really coming along out there in Seattle.
I know everybody talks about Sammy d and how great
he is it throwing the deep ball, but that defense
is starting to play really salty.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Now.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
That was a tough game for Jacksonville. I do think
they're learning how to win once they drop one. You
know those conversations are like in the locker room, they're
gonna try and get one back. They know how to
travel to London. Rams have been staying in Baltimore all
week long since they played against Baltimore.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
In that offense, is you know who is it? Cooper Rush? Yeah,
Cooper Rusper Rush, doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
They were handling them. We knew that the Rams were
going to take care of that game. But now going
out to London, I love Jacksonville here with the points
they Huntley.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Took over in that game, right, yeah he did. He
looks he looked better.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
All right, Jacks Rams, Rams, Yeah, yeah, him coming in
was a lot better. It's going to be because they
could run a similar offense. Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
We're not talking about Huntley.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Didn't Unty get a Pro Bowl when he ended up
coming in as like the third string.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Guy from anything, Right, I'm just saying.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
All right, Michel Ultra. They have this idea We've talked
about the last couple of weeks. It's playing for an Ultra. Now,
what is the record between you and I? I'm one
and four, Yeah, one and four rock paper scisors for
an Ultra. You got all the pressure.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
I'm four and one.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
You got all the pressure one two three shoot as
always one two shoot pressure. I'm not tune four Superior
spears Worth playing for Superior Light Beer, Mickel Bultra. Fun
little games, fun little competitions, get done. Let's get back
to this episode, all right, Yeah, Vikings Eagles our favorite
one and a half total in that game is forty

(16:12):
three and a half points. Boys, this is guy Viking's
written all over Kevin O'Connell. He has not decided who
the quarterback is going to be. Carson Wentz is dealing
with little shoulder injury. They pop the thing back in
this guy. He's a South Dakota guy. He's playing in
this game. That defense is salty. The Eagles are. That
foundation is cracked, The damn is about to give, the

(16:33):
water is about to flow through. They're great in a
passing defense, are great from a run defense standpoint. There's
just salty all the way around. And Carson Wentzel sling
that thing being at home I think is a big
win for them. I got them win in this game.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Revenge game for Carson Wentz.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Revenge game for Carson.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
We could be the one to let that to flip
that franchise upside.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
But I heard things about Max Brosemer. What's his name,
Max Brozman, the third string quarterback.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
I heard good things about.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Him if he butt him in work Vikings for the
Vikings like.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
You knew Mac Jones, I know talks and JJ potentially
being back this week or healthy. He hasn't made a
quarterback decision. Was the shoulders throwing one? I think this
is it wasn't throwing one because they put it.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
Dislocated.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Apparently dislocated. They puffed it back into place and he
went out and they.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
Said he was pretty sore in the last few days.
They said he's been sword in the last few days.
He hasn't practiced, so I'm not sure if that's going right.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Arm work man, right arm works. He's one of those
guys like if it's not if the bone's not shown,
he's playing.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Listen. I was going to come in here because everybody,
like you said, the foundation is cracking. You know, whatever
metaphor knowalogy you want to use. I was. I was gonna,
you know, sprinkle a little sunshine array of hope for
the Eagles. You look at their four wins not a
little over a week ago, the four and Okay, they
beat the Cowboys, tough divisional opponent, Chiefs, Rams, and Bucks,
all three teams who very well could be playing in

(17:59):
the Super this year, and then they have a tough
loss to Denver and then a quick turnaround Thursday night
versus the Giants. You look at their offense too. Saequan
was averaging close to five yards per carry. Aj Brown
had nine target six receptions for eighty yards. They looked,
I mean not so much in the second half, but
they looked decent. But I think that game is more

(18:21):
about I'm sorry, the Eagles game on last Thursday. Yeah,
in the first half. I think what I'm trying to say,
what I'm trying to get to, let me get to
the Giants. Did I misspeak or something. No, what I'm
trying to say is like that game was more about
the Giants and the Giants finding their their quarterback and
Jackson dark their franchise quarterback, their attitude and scataboo. They
obviously got their left tackle. Like I think they're good

(18:43):
for the future. But you can't ignore, like you had said,
all the quotes that are coming out there, Lane Johnson,
who doesn't provide a lot of soundbites talking about being
more consistent, Saquon talking about being too predictable, and aj
Brown talking about what meeting. I mean that guy releases
a quote every week that others have to answer for.
So you're right, You're absolutely right. But what I'm going

(19:05):
to say is I like the Vikings. If Carson Wentz starts,
give me the Eagles, because I'm not ready to quit
on him yet. If J. J. McCarthy starts, can we.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Talk about those games you said when they were four
and oh just a couple of weeks ago.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Yeah, let's do it.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
So Dallas Cowboys they played them, was that Thursday first game?
Ceedee Lamb catches that ball? I think I think the
Cowboys going to win that game. They beat the Rams.
They blocked not one but two kicks and then the
Rams went down to score. They were up what twenty
six to nine?

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (19:34):
At halftime Broncos or Broncos. What was the other one?

Speaker 2 (19:38):
That was real? U? Bucks? The Bucks?

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Bucks?

Speaker 4 (19:40):
Yeahception Baker?

Speaker 3 (19:42):
An interception by Baker he's going would have would have
been at the time his fourth game winning drive.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
He got it.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
I hear you.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
I'm saying, like the record looks good, but look a
whole lot worse, and they don't ask how they ask many.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
But that's like the Chiefs last year's championship medal. It
is finding a way to get it done.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
So you're way different.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Yeah, this four and two record for the Eagles is
a pig with lipstick. Taylor laid out they could easily
be one in five right now. Jalen hurts, you can
talk about how many, you can talk about how you
know Aj getting targets. Lane Johnson talking about consistency. AJ
Brown saying, you know what meeting rumor is? He just
he saw Saquon and Jalen talking. He kind of say, hey,
what's going on here? This is Vikings money line. This

(20:27):
is Vikings money line. I'm telling you the Eagles they're
in a very bad spot. If you watch the film
too on Jalen like a lot of it too. When
he's sitting back there baking a pizza. You're not getting
paid forty million dollars to baking pizza. You're getting paid
forty million dollars to sling the rock. And he's not
slinging the rock. He's choking that ball out back there,
or he's trying to scramble like he's got guys who
are open and he's just not letting it go. And
then schematically on offense, when you when you're watching them

(20:51):
go like go into the end zone, they get an
empty and throw a little quick out. They run the
same exact play. They don't have a lot of creativity
on offense. AJ Brown and they got cover zero A. J.
Brown's running wide open for a touchdown. This is Vikings
money line. It's Vikings money line. Them Eagles are in
fucking trouble.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
You think this They're gonna implode, like twenty twenty years.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
I think after this game there's a conversation being had
about who the quarterback is for the Eagles.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Dana McKee let him spin it. No, I think this
is It probably won't.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Because of politics and everything else.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
And money, Yeah, and money. There you go.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
The feeling of the team right now. Everything just again,
we don't know this for a fact, we don't know
this is me. It's just you know, spewing bullshit. But
my instinct says everything around the Eagles right now, everything
is pointing to Jalen.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Hurts that he's the calls of it all him.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
And that listen, the biggest piece that they're missing this
year is Kellen Moore, who's down in New Orleans. I
think they're having trouble offensively getting it going from a
schematic standpoint, but also with Jalen Hurts as well being
the quarterback of the Yeah, running game, you.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Look at you lo at them being predictable. It's like,
if you have a great off, it's the line you
can be predictable. We did that for a few years.
And it's like they're running between the tackles. One guy's
missing everything every time. Saquon Barkley is getting point eight
yards per carry before he's met with contact. Every yard
he's getting is earned, and that's bad. So you think
there's any solution, not a good stat for them.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
No, that's not bad.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Solution as Jalen just ripping the ball when he's got
the opportunities to risk.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
Is that Patulo change in is you know what I'm saying,
change in the plays they run? Is that getting rid
of him to send a message to the team. Is
that dealing aj Brown before the trade deadline?

Speaker 1 (22:33):
So like Orlovsky broke it down very well to where
we understand this game where they're very tendency based. When
the running back's deep versus the running back being in
line with the quarterback. Like a lot of those simple
tendencies are showing up for the Eagles. But also when
you watch the tape, so anything that can make a
bad coach look good or make the coach right is
a players making plays. There are opportunities whe Jalen can

(22:55):
let it rip and he's not even coaching aside. So
I think it's a openination of those things. If Jalen
starts trying to spin it, I think they're going to
be all right. Yeah, he's one.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Of those guys that's like he seems he's so afraid
to make Hey, go throw a pick right away, or
go throw a bad ball right away. It's like, Okay,
the worst case scenario happened. Now you can go out
and play a little free because it's like you're never
going to be perfect.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
He's got this, yeah, but he ripping it. He's just
not connected and we want.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
To the deep one with Smith wide up. I know
we in AJ. I mean people cauld say AJ slow
down or whatever. I don't think he's slowed down the
case was, but he's trying to rip him. It's just
he's overthrown receiver.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
And nobody like, you know, bro, it's like, you know,
we can throw better fifty fifty ball than what he's throwing.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
True, he's just miss he's missing a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
I don't know if that's just the talent aspect, the
risk of her stuff, whatever it is. But yeah, like
even the fifty fifty balls like he's missing, he's not
being accurate with that.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
So much about the offense, the defense, Jillen Carter's the
heal issue that he's.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
For this last game.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
He might be out for this game as well. They're
every one corner. He was out in the last game
with a hamstring issue. Doriy Jackson gets benched. The other
corner is so bad they bench him to put a
Doric Jackson back in. So you know, you have two corners,
you're on your third and fourth corner.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
And Darius Smith retired and after that game like I'm done.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Yeah, I better. He's one of their better rushers.

Speaker 5 (24:19):
I know in scatterbo how he just made those boys
look I mean punishing.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
The bond had a couple of you know, being an
All Pro linebacker.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
You're gonna get got, you gotta get got.

Speaker 6 (24:28):
But two times two times in a row.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
I got my moment. It's hanging in the stream room.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
Yeah, yeah, no, that's a tackle.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
That was a well Zach Bones, that was a tackle.
He just got lifted.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
Should should we go and move on?

Speaker 4 (24:43):
Yeah? I want to split it with the quarterback. Take
note of that. Give me the Eagles went what if
Max played? I'm not worried about him that. Yeah, he's
not playing.

Speaker 7 (24:58):
Board, He'll be quarter Jones Colts at Chargers.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Chargers are favorite one and a half total points in
the game as forty eight and a half points.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
I'm going Colts.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Yeah, I think it's the Colts too. They've only punted
six times this year.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Colts.

Speaker 5 (25:17):
Even though Joe Joel was back this week too, I know,
and Mac Max should be back to this week.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
But yeah, I think you're hurt. Who's the wide receiver
for TCU.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
He's had a break John.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Quin Johnson's He's he's had a hamstring like it's skill.
He's on my fantasy team to it breaks my heart,
but he's probably gonna be out as well. I mean,
Herbert is an incredible quarterback him and I mean latsid
himself a couple of jobs. But that last drive to
put themselves in the field goal range to win the
game last week was awesome, awesome, But I look at
this Colts defense is playing well. The offense, like I

(25:50):
just said, is only punted six times. I liked him
a lot. I liked them a lot. Last time they
went out to the West Coast, it didn't work out
well for them. I think they flip the script this time.
Give me, give me the Colts.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Their offensive line is so good. To just watch Jonathan Taylor,
the Mules favorite running back here averaging over one hundred
yards a game. And then you had Tyler Warren, who
I was introduced to when they when he played that
c last year. Like twenty receptions. But yeah, not only
is he making plays receiving, but they line him up
at full back back like you lead on DB's and

(26:21):
linebackers in the stretch game. And he's not afraid to
stick to his face in there. Dare I say top
five tight end right now?

Speaker 3 (26:27):
I mean a TV copy they were talking about, Hey,
this Warren Warren, this one he's going to be. He's
a Pro Bowl, All Pro guy this year.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
And he's got that long blonde hair too, so you
know he's a dog. You know what I'm saying. I
don't know about that. Okay, yeah, man.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
I thought all pro West Hollywood. What you got will.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
I am?

Speaker 1 (26:55):
I'm going Chargers here, China. Chargers mightus one and a half.
I look at who the Colts have played. It's the Dolphins.
They got lucky with the Broncos, they played the Titans,
they lost to the Rams, they beat up on the Raiders,
and then they got away with one at home against
the Cardinals, only beating in by four points. I think, yeah,
they do have injuries going on. Love some lab McConkie.

(27:17):
He's going to step up this game a little bit.
Even with their running backs out number thirty. I don't
know his name, but he toted the rock pretty well.
They got back to run the football after they ran
it only what fifteen times a couple weeks ago, and
it's just like, hey, let's just get back to run
the football. They do a good job of running football.
They ran it over twenty times this past game. I
think they're going to identify trying to establish a running
game against the Colts. And again, I think the Colts,

(27:38):
it's like they're five and one right now, But are
they a legitimate five and one team. Again, they lost
to the Rams. I think with Herbert coming in, this
is like an elite style quarterback. This is a team
that's going to formulate a good game plan to stay
in this game and at home. I like the Chargers
minus one and a half to cover.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Everyone always says that the LA fan bases always goes
super hard on Sundays.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
That's what they said. I don't know about that, Okay.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
I agree that the stablished run. The thing I worry
about is down to the third running back right now.
He was pretty salty, salty in Michigan to get judged
by the Titans.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
No, yeah, oh no, who was He didn't do a
whole lot, but yeah, thirty was toting it around.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
He is. I think Jorge's got a shot. And again
you got Herbert. This is the quarterback and the guys
that they've been beating up.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
True, very true. He a quarterback that's gonna put it
on his back. But I don't know the coaches.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
The coach look good right now they go six and one.
I just we all know the game. The game is
kind of built for the nine and eight, ten and
set ten and seven middle of the pack. I think
it correct itself a little bit, and Charges kind of
have to have it with the way the Chiefs are
playing right now with the Broncos kind of sitting at
the top of the division. Obviously the Raiders aren't doing
a whole lot, but the Chargers kind of have to
have this guy.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
They started out strong this year, real strong. Interesting, you're
going away from the Chargers.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yeah, I thought you.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
I thought this was like doing a Georges in the
situation for sure, I know, and.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
This is gotta have And they still came off of it.
I know.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
It's just after you know, I don't know. I just
I feel like the Colts is a better team. I'm
just gonna stick with my gut. And it's fucked up
because I'm actually about to be at the Charges facility
on Friday, so I hope they don't see it, and
I gotta let you in.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
They don't see.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
This, all right?

Speaker 3 (29:28):

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Sunday Night football Falcons. They laying and traveling over to
San Francis. Go uh Falcons underdogs in this game. Niners
favored by two and a half. The over undown on
this game is forty seven and a half. I'm so
lost when this game is injured.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
Yeah, they're injured, but they find a way. I know
they find a way. And you have the Falcons that
have to travel across the country and they're the team
that they're super hot and they're super cold. They have
a dominant win on Monday night. I'll tell you what,
There's not an offensive line that runs eleven personnel wide
zone better than that team.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Your boy j he okay, by the way, you know.

Speaker 4 (30:30):
You know he'll be out there on on Sunday, a
Sunday night.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
This is a war horse, bro, buddy, his age. I
watched the film. He is moving guys off the ball,
He's getting cut offs.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
He's cut off on that eighty one yard run.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
Unbelievable and he hey he did kind of get got
and gave him the reach.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
Around perfect, very savvy.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Yeah, that's that's.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
Where they're so dangerous. If they can have an effective
run game. There's I mean London out there, pits Is
out there, Like, they have a lot of guys that
can go and catch the ball, but they can keep
them in like sub defense and run the ball more
effectively than I've seen on film this year.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
The middle linebacker being out for the forty nine ers
that it's terrible cast.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Yeah, he had Delaney Walker.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
No, it was turned opposite way.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
It's located and.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Yeah yeah looking at the back view and he rolled
over that thing with side Yeah yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
Mind not yet.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
I bet against the Falcons twice when they played obviously
this past week and then when they played the Vikings
earlier because I think I was mistaken. I was I
was looking at uh Pennix, you know, as he's too
up and down. But what I should have been looking
ats Bijon and how the offense runs through him. So
as long as they keep giving him the ball running

(31:51):
for one hundred plus yards, you know, an extension of
the run game by just giving them dump offs and
whatnot for sixty seven or whatever it may be. Like
you said, Taylor, I think I think the forty nine
ers can't overcome all the injuries they've had. They've kept
it close, even the fact that they were in that
Buccaneers game. I mean, I mean Max still looked incredible
both in that game.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Injuries.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
Yeah, But I like the Falcons on this. I think
they keep that momentum over a huge win, all the
comments coming afterwards, We're here to stay, you know, you
name it. So I like them moving forward. I got
them this week.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
You're saying you don't know where to go.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
You go, Falcons, you go Falcons.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
You're seeing it right.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
But here here, this is what makes me worried. Is
I see the run. I see the outside zone. They're
essentially dominating the line scammers. You go to that wide
view and you see that line of scrimmers move two
yards in favor of the offensive line. And then I
go and show me, Hey, that fucking the offensive line
is incredible. And you brought up a great point. It's like, hey,
that front seven for the Buffalo Bills are undersize, and
like We're definitely outmatched. So I look at the forty

(32:49):
nine ers, like, are they great at rushing the passer
right now? No? But I mean their defensive line that
can stand up a little bit in the run.

Speaker 1 (32:55):
So I went to they and they are Atlanta right
now is the number one team in the league at
rushing the football. Their number one concept you already know
and you already said it. It is that wide zone.
They get you going ladder all. The offensive line is
doing a great job of cutting guys off. So I
go back and I clip it, I filter to where
I can watch wide zone against the forty nine ers.
This is a defensive line who tries to penetrate. They're

(33:17):
not playing the man. They're not stepping ladder on, playing
the man that you know allow backers to run free.
You lose your eraser, an absolute eraser in the game
with Fred Warner, like, this is a guy who can
correct things that are kind of going sideways a little bit.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
You lose that.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
Going along with a d line that tries to penetrate,
They're gonna get reached, They're gonna get scooped Ejohn's gonna
have his way. I love the Falcons here and Yeah,
they've been up and down, they've been hot and cold.
They seem like they're figuring out. I know how Danny
ohe absolutely hates them being in pistol. I think that's
kind of like why, you know, why are they in
pistols so much? But I think they're gonna continue to
get better in This defense is fucking nasty, bro now

(33:54):
number one pass defense in the league. And the Buffalo
Bills came in and they shut it down, held them
to like one to eighty, and you watch the film,
like the rookies, they're getting after it. Cayden ellis fifty five,
little salty boy out there with effort places, not only
effort plays, but lining up on the edge making spin moves.
And whoever they draft in the first round, it's number eleven,
I forget it.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
Walk what's his name?

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Jalen Walker's coming to live like the defense flies to
the football.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
This is Falcons. This's got Falcons written all over.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
I'm gonna go like it.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
I'm gonna go Falcons. Let me just give you a
little tidbit from an offense line standpoint where you're playing
penetrators versus two gappers, two gapping defenses versus the wide zone,
you're not gonna have a massive explosive plays because you're
you're running with the off it's line. You're going to
keep it, letting your linebackers do their thing. When it
comes to penetrators, it's harder to get more consistent runs,
but more times than not you have explosive ros.

Speaker 5 (34:41):
Yeah, because you penetrate, he gonna cut back back today
and he.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
One guy you get to cut off. I don't know,
maybe it's a salty twelve year vet left tackle Jake
Matthews get himself a nice cutoff on a penetrating. That's
when it's also sive, So it makes me like But
also when it comes to the penetrators, like the wide
zone is predicated, there's so many different things. But whoever
is the point of tack Let's say it's the left
tackles the point If he does not get moving the ball,

(35:05):
everything else gets bottled to where you can't cut off
and enough steps so you're getting hitting the hitt in
the back of the line of scrimmage. If these tackles
are able to get movement on penetrators, then he gives
a little more time on the inside to get those cutoffs.
I feel a whole lot better about that, but it's
it's always painful.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
Well that's why I see this game plan too.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
They may have a slicer just because of that, that
penetrator gets up filled on the place side played, that
slicer comes back and because they gonna leave that in
and then we picked that in.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Now that cutback is clear to cut back off of.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
If you're gonna have penetrators, you're gonna have to have
absolute dogs at the second level.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
I'm telling you. If not there, it's it's gonna be
a different team with you.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
I mean, Drake London been balling too, Like this is
Drake London.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
Fantasy, this former Trojan one hundred and sixty yards.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
Yeah, look at you your team.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Talking.

Speaker 4 (35:59):
But I like that play by him, Like I knew
he was going to take heat at the end of
the first half when he caught that pass. I'm doing
the same thing, like I'm trying to score, like just
being affy. I know his foot touched out of bounds
and I'm sure you know the critics might say otherwise
trying to get the three points, but I liked it.

Speaker 6 (36:16):
You are you becoming more a football fan I'm I'm like,
I'm right down the road. Like NFL, it's probably been like,
you know, take it, leave it.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
But now that USC, I think is playing like good football,
football is probably made it.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
There was there was a lull before Caleb Williams was
there in between whoever was before, and then now that
it's come back and it's all I mean, I see,
last year was a tough year. I think there was
like five or six losses, but no, I always I've
always supported them. It's just hard when you're losing four, five,
six games a year to you know what I'm saying too.
And for some for a school like see, you need
to be in the top ten at least just with

(36:54):
their pedigree and history.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
You're not.

Speaker 1 (36:56):
You're not built the same money losses on right, But
Caleb was transfer right, it was a transfer.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
But I'm just saying he is.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
Yeah, he was bawling until he until he got later
in the year when you know he started.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
Yeah, this is his junior year. He was incredible, incredible, junior,
senior whatever you wanna call it. His last year though
he still was playing unbelieva was like his stats weren't
the same, but the defense was they score fifty, they
give up fifty one. It was always a defense. So
the defense is just slowly tacking up to where you
know the offense is.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Let's talk about the Texans the Seahawks. Texans are at
the Seahawks. They had travel across the country. Seahaws are
favorite three and a half. Total points in the game
was forty and a half points. Keep it simple, kiss method, Seahawks.
People are gonna talk about the Houston Texans defensive line.
How are you able to rust the pastor The Seahawks
offensive line is one of the best in protecting against
the pass rush. They're one of the best. This is
a good and good game, Sam Darld give him a

(37:47):
little time with JSN. I love them, Yeah, I love them.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
In this game, home field a vanished strong pass.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
I did it.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
I would have loved the two and a half on
this one, yeah and a half.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Because the Texas their their offensive started to come along
and they just had a bye week.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
Correct is riding with you if you pick it?

Speaker 5 (38:13):
Wait, is o buddy coming back to that little is
the little receiver coming back?

Speaker 2 (38:17):
What's his name? Tank Dale? Is he back this week?
This is a hard one.

Speaker 4 (38:22):
This is a hard one, Bro. The Texans like their
three losses by combined thirteen points to the Rams, the Bucks,
and the Jacks. I know they started oh and three,
but you saw and I know they played you know,
uh Baltimore before their bye week, but they look good.
They put up forty four points C. J. Stroud two

(38:44):
hundred and forty four yards damn near perfect passer rating
their defense, and.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
You talk about their offense coming alive. I just looked
at their schedule. They beat the Titans twenty six to zero.
Not the most high flying are they? And they played
the Ravens. Have nothing confidence?

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Agree ain't going into the bye.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
You did win.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
Just went on the whole thing about McDonald his defense.
Every wants to talk about the Seattle offense, but their
defense is really playing. They got after the quarterback quite
a bit. Everyone's turning on it's at Seattle, to which
that means.

Speaker 4 (39:22):
Whatever the record is, check me on this. They lose
for whatever reason. They're like ten to one on the road.
They have not played well. Now it is a nine
o'clock game center, at least for US.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
Am.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
Bro, those fans are going to be liquored up. They're
going to be roaring out there. But bro, I'm the
bucks in the Seahawks, I'm so high on. But I
like the Texans with the upset here.

Speaker 2 (39:46):
That's what's up.

Speaker 4 (39:47):
Give me the Texans straight up, money line.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
You love it, all right?

Speaker 3 (39:56):
We were you last week?

Speaker 2 (39:57):
All right?

Speaker 3 (39:57):
I forget about that.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Give me got to chase it.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
You could chase it with the points.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 5 (40:05):
I'm going to Seahawks, Sam Darnold beast at home field,
a van in strong pass defense, pressure game is on point,
Seahawks taking this.

Speaker 1 (40:14):
That's all I needed to hear. Texans, Texas, thank you.
I think there's a world where the cover happens here.
It's just a late game, field goal game. Texans with
the points, Texans with the points.

Speaker 5 (40:28):
Prime time in Seattle, y'ah. Have you ever played in
Seattle on prime time?

Speaker 4 (40:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (40:33):
You have?

Speaker 5 (40:34):
Yeah, you know it's lit, and I know it's fucking lit.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
Didn't you pick off Rust Wilson in primetime?

Speaker 1 (40:42):
It wasn't primetime. It was an afternoon game. One pick
drop pick twelve. Russell Wilson had some name one one
drop pick six. Bro, why delayed to the flat and
Russ was just muffined it out there? And you saw

(41:05):
the goal line before you sew the ball.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
He knew he was going to drop that. Seattle game
was my middle finger game. It's my middle finger game.
He knew he was going to drop it. Though I
didn't drop one. You dropped two. Yeah, one when I when.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
I had to elevate and get a little high on
maybe a little out of my wheelhouse one on them.
We were double digit point underdogs in that game too,
offensive line injuries across the board.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
We went in there and beat their commanders.

Speaker 5 (41:34):
Was like you either beat the ship out of them
or they beat They surprisingly win the game.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
And you probably know the gift to this one where
I'm riding the horse. I never seen that, but you
saw you saw that gift. That's like one of the
more popular gifts on X.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
I don't know, celebrated talk about Will's career, Taylor.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
I celebrated so hard in this game.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
I rode the horse and then I did Steve Austin
fake beers all over it. Like I'm just and I'm
sitting on the bench, I'm looking at the cameras. I'm winking, okay,
as you.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
Went with the team win, Yeah, Bro.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
Seventeen sixteen, double digit underdogs.

Speaker 5 (42:09):
Win this game, this one. I didn't watch that game,
be honest.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
What'salking about True Classic? For a second? The True Classic
Pima T shirt and it feels amazing. Grabs his shoulders,
grabs his chest, and got a little curve on the
side perfectly for that. You catch a little wind, kind
of flip over the side, think, oh, that's such just
a regular T shirt. That's a Pima T shirt.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
That's what True.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
Classic has right there. Find True Classic got Amazon and Costco,
Sam's cull and Target nationwide, or go online at true
Classic dot com. Forward slash busting, look good, feel good,
play good. Back to this episode. All right, let's see
the True Classic Game of the week. Every weekend's got games,
but only one fits just right. It's this True Classic
Game of the Week. Got Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the
Detroit Lions. Baker Mayfield versus Jered Goff Lions five and

(42:51):
a half total points, get to two and a half.
I love the Lions in this game. I don't love
the number.

Speaker 5 (42:55):
I'm gonna let y'all pick, and I'm gonna go away
from y'all because I just want to show y'all.

Speaker 3 (42:59):
The bucks are the bucks are spicy. The Bucks are hot.
The Bucks are riddled with injuries right now. The Lions,
everyone thinks that the greatest team in the NFL. They
take they take an l last week. I'm gonna go Lions,
thank you. I'm gonna go Lions five and a half.
I know it's a it's.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
A big line.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
Take it please, but I think everyone's getting on Tampa
the way everyone's in in the Lions and the Lion
everyone kind of dips when everyone's like when you when
you start the Crown teams, that's when they take a dip.
When they started to take a dip. I like the
Troy at the Troy, I'm taking five and a half.

Speaker 4 (43:31):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (43:32):
Sorry, go ahead, Lions are gonna win by two scores.
Lions are gonna win by two scores. I think this game,
it seems very exciting. I think when the Bucks get healthy,
they're one of the best teams in the NFL. Definitely
one of the best teams in the NFC. But all
the injury is going on, and yeah, Baker's playing electric.
Still a couple of throws he misses on and I
just think the Lions too, like that was a heavyweight fight.
When you watch the Chiefs and the Lions, I said,

(43:54):
it wasn't This isn't a look ahead to a potential
super Bowl. The way that game was played was very
much look at at a potential super Bowl matchup. Chiefs
got to the red zone, what seven times, they score
on six of them, like they had a plan. They
were rolling, and they got a couple of situations in
the second half to where the Chiefs come out and score,
they make the Lions punt turn turnover on down situation

(44:15):
that happens for the Lions. They kind of just get
out of it. But they're gonna be hungry, They're gonna
be ready to go. I think this defense will be
a little too much for the Buccaneers. I think the
offense will continue to continue to roll because they look
very good. Chiefs just got them on a couple of
them where they made him punt at that time because
it was twenty seventeen, they're in the fourth quarter like
that game was still close. And again on the fourth
down that they didn't convert, Amen Rod just drops the ball.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
He's not going to drop the ball again.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
No. And also, the Chiefs not the greatest team in
the red zone. The defense the beginning of the year. Yeah,
all of a sudden going this time six out of
seven Chiefs look good.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
I'll tell you, Chiefs real good.

Speaker 4 (44:49):
I like the Lions. I like the Lions. I think
they missed. They had several got to have it play
starting with you know, they spend ten minutes driving down
the field. What's up.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
Till he's he's fucking fourteen to twenty three. He's like,
thank you, Like this is gonna.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
Be which is it? This is? He knows what I
tell him. It's good to go, bro, Like you know,
it starts with that guy to have it at the
goal line. Obviously, whatever happens with the illegal for mate whatever,
whatever the penalty was. They had that fourth down with.

Speaker 2 (45:19):
The penalty to catching the ball touchdown.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
Yeah, man, that was bullsh three points. You know, the
fourth down. They don't get it, but they got bullied
in that game. The reality is, so I see them
coming home playing the Bucks team that's just decimated. You
lose a Buka who's playing so well for them, and
you know Baker didn't didn't you know, miss a beat
with those with those Johnson and j Johnson. How about
that third and fourteen run of his so much bros,

(45:44):
a fucking dog. He's just two plays later he throws
that that I'm forgetting the Johnson.

Speaker 2 (45:49):
There were Friend of the Show T Johnson.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
Hey, did you see two where he was talking like
he said they started chating m VP.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
I thought they was talking about me, like I would
have his teammates, Like your quarterback is Baker man Ship.
I didn't even realize that.

Speaker 5 (46:05):
Give me, give me you already know where I'm going
from fading these guys.

Speaker 2 (46:12):
Straight up out the week.

Speaker 5 (46:14):
Hey, I'm just saying the Buccaneers is a sleeper team.
Baker is fucking unbelievable. They're not a sleeper. They're not
a sleeper. But you'all worried about the VP actually have
weapons on their team. They hurt, They will come in
know anyone people come in and they play. It's like
they don't miss a beat when players get hurt. The

(46:36):
Buccaneers have people come off the bench. What you supposed
to do as a scouting in a gym, you supposed
to find players who can come off the bench and
you don't feel like you're missing a beat. That's what
the Buccaneers have going on. And when you got a
quarterback like Baker Mayfield, who's taking charge, who is a
fucking dog. You play hard for him because you don't
want that dude going to the meeting be like, hey,
we don't want to put this man in the game.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
He don't know what the fuck going on. You don't
want to let it go down Like Baker Mayfield.

Speaker 5 (47:01):
I've been in those shoes, so I know the Buccaneers
is gonna take the lines.

Speaker 1 (47:06):
I feel you on the whole scouting department thing Buccaneers
money line.

Speaker 2 (47:09):
No, I did not say Buccaneers money line.

Speaker 1 (47:11):
Oh okay, sure, what is the spread on this five
and a half? Yeah, yeah, I feel you on the
whole scouting Next man up, look, next man up guy.
But you're talking about meccag Buka, Mike Effitt, Mike Evans,
Chris got Bucky, Bucky Irving, which again they can get

(47:31):
the run game going.

Speaker 2 (47:32):
To me, that's more of a next man up mentality.

Speaker 1 (47:34):
But some of those heavy hitters on the outside, the
rapport that you have with your quarterback on when plays
break down and knowing how your QB thinks and everything else,
I'm not doubting that they won't be prepared or study
and try to do as good as they can. But
again it's like there's a there's levels, No, because there's levels.
At some point, it's like if I'm on the Niners roster,
it's like, oh, will you see he'll be able to

(47:54):
come in and command the defense. But out there and
making eraser plays and doing everything else, that's the part
you lose. And I think that's what you have on
the offensive weaponsite with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Speaker 5 (48:05):
But see, I used to look at it when I
played for the forty nine ers, when Vernie got went
down and I was the starter, I'm like, we can't
it can't be a difference.

Speaker 2 (48:12):
I got to be able to run every.

Speaker 5 (48:13):
Play Vernie can run, and no one is gonna notice
a difference, like And that's how I looked at it.
So I don't know, I'm not I can't speak for
every player, but that's how it should be.

Speaker 2 (48:23):
When you come in the game.

Speaker 5 (48:24):
You should want to feel like, hey, it's no difference,
like I'm gonna be I'm gonna start in this league,
so I'm gonna come out here.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
I'm with any of the things you just said. I'm
sure every guy who's getting the tap on the holld
this week saying, hey, you're in for Mike Evan's, Chris Godwin,
Bucky Irving. Everyone's thinking the same thing you just said.
Difference between you and majority of the NFL outside of
your you know, your your first stream guys, is there's
usually a massive dropout drop off from a talent standpoint.

(48:51):
You were really well kept secret the forty nine.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
Ers, but you came from central Missouri. But I know,
but then you look at it.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
Every guy had to become that guy.

Speaker 5 (48:59):
Somehow he got thrown in the fire and he became
the guy.

Speaker 3 (49:02):
Right, And usually that happens when it's like, man, this
wide receivers out, let's put this guy.

Speaker 7 (49:07):
Like one guys down, four or five when four dudes
then when you went when they all down and that
them dudes come in and they make us not that
then another team like we gotta have him, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 2 (49:23):
That dude is a beat. He came in, He shipped
on everybody.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
But you're talking about it against the front seven like
the Detroit Lions, like we're gonna have those Baker Mayfield specials.
It's only gonna happen so many times against the Detroit say.

Speaker 2 (49:35):
The front four on Detroit Lions front four.

Speaker 1 (49:39):
You don't think the second levels dogs on the fly.
You're talking out of your talking out of right now.
They couldn't guard me. They straight you locked me up.
No one could lock me up. I'll locked you up.
Watched the whole damn field. Will couldn't even keep up
with me.

Speaker 4 (49:57):
Branch would have locked you up and socked you in
the face after.

Speaker 2 (50:02):
They have it.

Speaker 1 (50:02):
He'd been looking like juju that ain't had.

Speaker 5 (50:07):
Hey, remember when Miles Garrett hit me in the face,
was on his hand. I had him worried about me
the whole I'm like, you, bitch ass, My.

Speaker 2 (50:14):
Mirror was coming down.

Speaker 3 (50:15):
I was suspending.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
You played that game the Cleveland Brown when we took
we beat them home.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
Yeah, the first game of the year.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Oh yeah, you were suspended, right. He was on that ship.

Speaker 3 (50:30):
I got Jackson Smith and j in my you were
on fire.

Speaker 4 (50:36):
I bet the boys parlay. J S said, Hey, how we
do last week? I'm tired of how there's no accountability
when we put these out here. I'm just saying, only
one person here, Jonathan Taylor hit who I have because
he hit Josh Jacobs twice.

Speaker 2 (50:49):
Who I have.

Speaker 4 (50:52):
Only his point, did hit can we do can we
do a bet the boys.

Speaker 3 (51:00):
That these boys miss last week?

Speaker 4 (51:04):
That was last week? No, no, no, I hit an
arm and row and I hit on you know that
one dude earlier.

Speaker 3 (51:11):
Yeah, Clay said for the ship.

Speaker 4 (51:13):
Okay, there you go. So I'm three out of five,
three out of five, three three.

Speaker 2 (51:20):
It's week seven.

Speaker 4 (51:22):
There was a bye weekend there, all right. I got
where we are with the rest.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
I got one for you because we was talking, we
was breaking down that game. B John Robinson, B John
Robinson an.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
That was my second one.

Speaker 3 (51:35):
And listen, Jonathan Jonathan Taylor bullshit saga like, yeah, let
me pick Jonathan Taylor every single week.

Speaker 4 (51:42):
I'll be having fun because I like winning. I like winning,
but let's have some fun here with dog is a
motherfucking runner. He's a dog. Hey, I like Queen Shawn Judkins.
If I'm pronouncing that right from the Browns.

Speaker 2 (51:58):
Yeah, I like that pick.

Speaker 4 (52:01):
Yeah, j He ran for over one hundred yards. They're
giving the ball to him like a.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
Couple of games ago. Pittsburgh did a good job shut
him down. But I'm with you on Quinn Seawan.

Speaker 5 (52:11):
Yeah, no training camp. I mean they may have to
make a quarterback change. But we're gonna see.

Speaker 3 (52:18):
We don't see.

Speaker 2 (52:18):
Yeah, Cleland Taylor, js N.

Speaker 3 (52:23):
Jason.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
He is generational.

Speaker 4 (52:26):
He getting in there for the generation wide receiver one.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
He's good. Bro. The connection that him and have right now,
he getting it.

Speaker 1 (52:33):
It's just crazy to me that these quarterbacks, these elite
quarterbacks are the ones that have this arm talent to
just throw it like fifty sixty down field.

Speaker 2 (52:41):
That just drops in the bucket.

Speaker 3 (52:44):
Beautiful to see.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
Yeah, I just sit there rewinding, I slowed down. I'm like, bro,
it's crazy. They're just not breaking stride and they're just
dropping My kids.

Speaker 3 (52:52):
You see this, Like what look at that, bron.

Speaker 5 (52:56):
They don't appreciate it. Yeah, it's a beautiful site. Man,
It's like people chain smoking a cigarettes what day? Windows
up in the cars. Fucking beautiful site.

Speaker 3 (53:04):
That's a beautiful site.

Speaker 1 (53:05):
Great show, bet the Boshcarla Ay, Jonathan Taylor, b John Robinson, Queen,
Shawn Judkins, and JSM from Seattle.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
