Speaker 5 (03:18):
Boys.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
We got the squad back together for real all year long.
Got Clay Matthews, Yes, Sir, had the bargain with him.
He wanted a new house.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
Yeah, private jets, Yeah, private jets.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
Jesus.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
Once Portnoy opened his mouth, you damn right, I came back.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
That's fair.

Speaker 7 (03:40):
Hey, but we had the recruit.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
We had the We had to host him on in
home visits at my house, at Taylor's house. Yeah, the
red too, that said Matthews on this I was shown
him my special team game trophies, like, hey, this is
what we collect when you join the Boys.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
We collect especially going to a winning program.

Speaker 7 (04:00):
No, I appreciate it and all seriousness though, I am excited.
I'm fired up. You think of guys like Sam Darnold
to the Seahawks, Geno Smith to the Raiders, but Clay
Matthews to the Boys, biggest off season free agent. So
that being said, we gotta we got an open locker here.
So I brought a few, you know, a few items
of mine just to you know, just okay, hold on.

(04:22):
So so you know, I come to work. So I
got the helmet.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
You know, that's that's when he was dumb.

Speaker 7 (04:32):
He never never it will were cool. Hey, I got
the you know, the custom cleats. Yeah, got the name Tame.
That's cool stuff, cool stuff. But but it's not just
about me. It's about the boys too, and I and
IM thinking about you guys, and well, I know you're
you're a big fan of these guys. You know, you're

(04:53):
kind of a deviant to you talk about your escapades
when you're by yourself. So I brought you a little
alone material. It's the tooth thousand and nine Sports illustrated
with your boys, Cushing and maul Luga.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
I know you're.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Right now sick the only like, I am very appreciative
of this. But knowing that your Clay Matthews and your
on this, I do feel like I should have all
three signatures. Yeah, that would truly make my young two
thousand and four self.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
We can do that classic President. I know when he
hits the President, he's like, but I would also like this.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
My birthday is September nineteenth, it's coming up.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Just so he just hand it back to him, be like, hey,
thank you very much.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
Did you take this out? The trophy case is so cool.

Speaker 7 (05:38):
You know my mom about like she went to Barnes
and Nobles about this. I was going through the through
the boxes, Delanna. I know it's tough working with Will
and Taylor every day. Sometimes you might need a drink,
So I got you a Clay Matthews like, hey, but
but always drink responsible. We understand that. Let's say you
skip breakfast, but you need a few beers on the job. Lucy's.

(06:00):
Lucy's are a thing in the past. Okay, but you
know what's in Hey, two thousand and ten weedies fuel
the sugar in hears greater than any nickotine pouch will
give you. All Right, So that's that's that's yours over there. Okay,
you're Hey, Taylor reached out to me this offseason. She said, Hey,

(06:21):
I'm really worried about Taylor. He's gone all the time.
He's playing grab ass with Dana. Hey, I know this
is what she said.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
This is I didn't this is what she said.

Speaker 7 (06:31):
You know, when the girls are upset, they're sad. Okay,
they cried themselves to sleep. So I got them a
plush doll that they can sleep so they don't have
to be scared anymore.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Oh God, bless that is you might.

Speaker 7 (06:46):
Speaking of girls? Uh you know, girl down here? Will
you know? I know you're a busy man too, and
I just want your girls to grow up and just
look at what a real linebacker looks like. And that's
one hundred piece Clay Matthews puzzle. We're gonna have a
lot of questions for you, you know. So yeah, I
just I'm just bringing you to.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
One hundred pieces.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Anymore than that I got.

Speaker 7 (07:09):
Okay, So we're going back to the USC days right here,
number forty seven. You see that Rose bull patch, So
I just add a little bit of color. But this
was the two thousand and seven Rose Bowl game. Any
idea who played the Trojans in this game?

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Illinois, the Michigan Wolverine.

Speaker 7 (07:26):
Hey, the lost Cushing defensive MVP, Dwane Jared offensive MVP.
Both from Jersey. This will look great in the locker
right there. Sorry, it's just it's part of the show.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
It's part of the show.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
A sure or anybody with anybody want to build out
the locker? Hey, want to rip the cord? Yeah, you get, sir,
get your more. He's got more.

Speaker 7 (07:50):
Last thing, I don't want to make this all about me.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
I'm not the boys.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
Okay, now this I needed a jersey. You know, we
got delaying these jerseys and and you boys. But so
this is twenty fifteen NFC Wild Card victory captain patch
right here, authentic. Any ideas who the Packers beat this.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Game, I'm gonna guess the San Francisco for.

Speaker 7 (08:10):
The Redskins commander was no more. And so thank you
for bringing me in. These are all random. I didn't
think about these at all. I just kind of picked
stuff out and uh, you know.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
No, that's an awesome jersey.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
You had four tackles in that game as the middle lineback.

Speaker 7 (08:32):
How many sacks? One and a half. That's like.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
You had, buddy, You got me leaking early.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
That was.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
Who played that game. I'm gonna guess the Niners you
played in that game.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
That was you.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yeah, hey, help me, what an introduction bringing it absolutely incredible.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
That was incredible.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
You've heard Alvier's man more pre Lay Matthews per Jeremy Clump. Boys,
we got a hell of a slate. AFC picks NFC
picks champions MVPs.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
We're building the other parlays. It's going to be an
amazing year.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Not to bring it back to Clay, but Clay did
win a Super Bowl. And since in the theme of
we're picking a super Bowl champion, we'll probably be talking
about the Eagles a lot. What is the mentality of
winning the Super Bowl and having big expectations going into
the next year.

Speaker 7 (09:25):
Well, I can speak from experience, as you know. Obviously
winning the Super Bowl in twenty ten, you know, we
were the sixth seed and we got hot. That's that's
how it is. It's the hottest team at the end
of the year. We weren't the best team, we were
the hottest team went on to win twenty eleven. Rolls around,
start off like Gangbusters, be the Saints. We go fifteen
to one all the way first round. By then we

(09:47):
play the Giants in the divisional round. They have like
the twenty seventh ranked defense. We fall flat on our face.
They they got out there a rod in our offense.
Who are those boys on the who are those pass
back in the day and your Justin and Tucker straight hand.
I don't think straight hand was after the Super Bowl?

Speaker 5 (10:09):
Is that it was that is that?

Speaker 3 (10:10):
When is that when the Giants were like the bottom seats.

Speaker 7 (10:13):
I think they wanted that year that was when they
beat beats.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
They beat the forty nine. Well, they beat the Patriots
and right the undefeated Patriots because we.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
Played then of the year we played the next they
whooped us and then beat the Patriots.

Speaker 7 (10:27):
Expect get the super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (10:28):
We lost the Super Bowl. He's in the super Bowl
twenty and twelve and they ran him back.

Speaker 6 (10:33):
Yeah, twenty twelve super Bowl Baltimore versus Francisco forty nine ers.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
What year was that? Twenty twelve?

Speaker 3 (10:40):
You also played the Packers that yere in the playoffs? Ye,
when they're a tackle that you broke, like a big
time tackles.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
What I mean?

Speaker 6 (10:46):
Yeah, Yeah, definitely broke one on you. Two thousand and
twenty twelve.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
The NFL. We all got play, we all get gone.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
I don't think it was that was beating us.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
I think it was more it was No, definitely, I
had just a little role in that game. Cap did
that off the team?

Speaker 7 (11:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (11:06):
It takes a team.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
Though. You can't be can't be great by yourself.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Thoughts of players of Kaepernick. I know he's still so
we'll see how that works out.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
Very selfless. Yeah, you know. I was just a team player,
special teams all around. The type of guy.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
Delaney was wild as how you were like the blocking title.
Vernon was receiving receiving, and you always ran twelve personnel
and I was either matched up and I always knew
when I was going against Delaney like I had that
you know what I'm saying, strap up a little bit.
But uh, Vernon wasn't really interested. He was getting the receiving.
And then you go to Tennessee and.

Speaker 6 (11:42):
They switched the role because we had Craig Stevenson. So
Craig was the blocker. When I got in, I knew
I couldn't out block him.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
That dude was he was yeah ox.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
So they was like, look, you're not he's going to
block you won't probably being in no run players. I'm like, okay,
I'm fine with that.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Quick story about Delaney man.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
When I first got there, he would always be walking
around in the backfield, not doing reps, but just talking
and talking about how y'all y'all.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Asst blocking, I can block anybody.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
I'm thinking, this motherfucker, he just catches it like He's
a great football player obviously, and I literally I think
like one day I went and watched him film, like
one of the coaches had like your special teams and
you're blocking.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
I'm like, where the fuck is this? Like why is
it he blocking? You're also getting triple covers?

Speaker 5 (12:24):
Yeah, but they wouldn't we have zero threats. I mean,
and he got paid.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah, he got paid like you don't.

Speaker 6 (12:29):
But it was like we don't want him in the
game blocking because the first year I got there, almost
got hurt blocking. Somebody like ran up on me and
I twisted my ankle and they was like you the
best player we got. You were never going back in there?

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Was Delaney is the only player we have here. You're
not blocking anymore.

Speaker 7 (12:50):
I mean you know you know.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
Eighty two in Bird Bird Yeah, and then you still
can't stop me. What are we gonna do this every time?
I'm just saying everybody understands, Like we played each other
one time and you had what fifteen yards total?

Speaker 5 (13:03):
In that game? We beat you?

Speaker 6 (13:06):
WILLI she covered you blanket coverage, okay, right, half Compton
and co locks down de Landy Walker and Cole there
you go and co Yeah, it took three.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
That's a that's a headline from BoNT Missouri in high
school for boys. Let's get this, Let's get some future picks.
Should we start in the AFC East.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
Yeah, Yeah, it's just started. We can start wherever we want.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Yeah, we sat where we want. I like the Bills obviously.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
I think I think the Bills here at some point
in Josh Allen's career, he has to get over the
hump of Patrick Mahomes and these other quarterbacks and make
it to the next step. We will talk about the
Super Bowl in a little bit. Going to Rochester, watching
the Bills, seeing how they operated, watching Josh Allen from
every single arm angle, like, I think he missed two
throws the entire day, and one of them was a drop.

(13:56):
He's got the moxi, he's got the bravado, he's got
the attitude. You get some additions like Joey Bosa back on,
you kind of switch him and Von Miller out, Tredevius
White comes in there. Only concern I have for the
Bills is Elijah Moore. You get him for uh former
second round pick.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
He goes.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
They're talking about how excited they are about Elijah Moore.
This guy is going to be the weapon, the speed
that they need at the Bills. Now, there's a couple
of articles that came out I believe it was yesterday
that Elijah Moore is having a tough, tough camp. He
might be want to cut candidate and might not even
make the fit three man roster. Insert the possibility of
Gabe Davis. His best years were at the Bills. I
got opportunity to talk to him. We're at UFC play

(14:34):
hanging out with Dana White and he he popped by.
He's like, I think I'm going with the Bills. I
think that's what that's gonna happen for me if he's
able to go there. I think Josh Allen has all
the tools.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
And they repeat again. In the AFC East, I.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
Feel like the only question mark is the wide receiver room. Yeah,
it's a you got Coleman, Josh Palmer, Josh Josh Palmer.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
And who Yes, Sure, I think that's really the only
question mark because I got the Bills taking the East two.
I do think the Patriots have a little dark horse shot.
I think they make it interesting, obviously very able, it's
the new regime everything else. But I think Drake may
in his second year. I think they got a lot
of weapons.

Speaker 6 (15:10):
I think they're healthy right now, we were talking, we
were out there at Patriot training camp.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
They feel good about everything. But you know, like Rabel,
they're gonna have some good culture wins in the first year.
They could be a dark horse shot because they don't
have too tough of a schedule and looking at all
those two teams very easy. But that would be my
only thing against the Bills is what is their receiver
room gonna How is the receiver room gonna produce with Josh?

Speaker 5 (15:35):
I mean, Josh Allen's a superhero.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
But another quest if we're staying on the category of
like what had the Bills up against him, it's their
passing defense last year wasn't. But they're very unhealthy, very injured.
It's kind of been that way the last couple. He's
coming back from a leg injury. You bring Joey Boston,
he's coming from the Chargers. It's like you're hoping that
they that the defense understands what's at stake. When you

(15:59):
have a guy like Josh Sean with the opportunity to
win a Super Bowl every single year, it's the Bills
play the Chiefs in the regular season, whoever wins that
game losing the playoffs, and Josh Allen has always kind
of won that regulationason game and lost in that playoff game. Yeah,
so it's time for them to make that step. I
do like the Patriots maybe taking second, and they're making
it a little bit interesting with the Bills. I think

(16:20):
when it comes to just the talent of both teams,
the Bills have that more cover than the Patriots from
a game playing standpoint, from a keys to victory. We've
been in that locker room. We understand that raves Helas
got dialed in every single time. I just don't think
they're there from a personnel standpoint just yet.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
Well, that's why I'm going with the Patriots. And it's
funny you say the person going to Patriots to win
the division division, I am taking the Patriots to win
the division. Like you said, a dark horse. I feel
like those guys are going to step up, especially with
Mike Brabel. Again, we all know Mike Brabel. We know
how fast he can turn the program around, just with
his mindset, of the defensive mindset, the culture he brings,

(16:55):
the leadership that he brings.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
He played the game he understands.

Speaker 6 (16:58):
He now to take care of the players, that their
players give them time off, wrest them so they ready
to go in the game. But I'm gonna talk about
them and not having the pieces. Well, they have a
lot of cap flexibility. That's the that's the big thing
right now. You know how Rabel likes to go and
find players that he can use during the season, and
if they have cap room, we can bring in anybody.
The sky is the limit. But they're helping them all,

(17:20):
helping them out. Drake mayout by bringing in an all
Pro receiver in Stefan Diggs. That's gonna help him out
being in safety blanket, throwing him the ball, getting him going.
They also have a young running back that's gonna be
Chris what's his name Henderson.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Some of the clips you've seen coming out of camp.

Speaker 5 (17:37):
It's crazy zone.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Even in team reps, like you can see just in
the red zone periods are gonna put too much out there.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
But he's going to be a weapon out of here
is going to be a where you know, Verbel likes
to run the ball. We all know that get the
get us going by running the ball, and then we'll
do some play action get some guys down the field.
But again, they do have an easy schedule. I feel
like the Patriots can sneak in there and take the division.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Listen, you talk about the salary cap, but it's like
that salard CAP's already kind of done for this year.
Stefan Daggs is an All Pro player. He's a guy
that we all look at. He's got the name recognition,
but he's coming off of an acl and he's had
a couple of tough years since he's left the Bills
a couple of years ago. Then you got the fourth
overall pick, Campbell, who's playing left tackle for them. He's
got the people hate on the shorter arms and all that.

(18:24):
I think everyone's happy with what he is. He's a gritty,
tough news guy that's gonna ballot out weekend and week out.
You're not gonna have to worry from an injury standpoint
from him in toughness. But it's like there's always gonna
be the learning curve you're gonna come across these aliens
week in and week out, and being a rookie starter
left tackle, there's gonna be some growing pains that they're
gonna have to Dean plan for to make sure that
he's taken care of when you get into those late October, November,

(18:46):
December games. So there's a lot of things working against them.
They're coaching staffs outstanding, they have players. I just think
the Bills have a little more grasp on the East,
especially for this year.

Speaker 5 (18:57):
You got Clay Maman.

Speaker 7 (18:58):
I'm just deferring to you guys having gone to camp,
haven't been with Rabe. I understand the pages, but I
think what you're saying, Taylor is I think they're just,
you know, the cream of the crop right now. Like
last five, you know, AFC East Bills ran it. I
think they're gonna do it again. I think with Josh
Allen at the Helm, you know, like you had said,
Bosa coming in and switching in with Vaughn like, I
just think they're too good. I don't think anybody else

(19:18):
in that division presents a problem. Patriots on their way up, obviously,
but I just think this year twenty twenty five, until
Josh Allen, yeah, until until you tell me otherwise. Yeah,
it's the Bills, and none of.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Us are even mentioned. The Dolphins either, I think they're
the most pointing throughout the offseason. Yeah, when McDaniels comes in,
I want to say, the excitement was there because he's
coming from this regime of that young tree out there,
of Shanahan, McVey, Lafleur, like they've all worked together. He's
bringing this over to Miami that first year they had
a lot of the creativity is on offense. He is
super creative. He's going to continue to be creative. He's

(19:52):
got a lot of weapons, he's got a lot of aliens.
But you just see on the outside looking in all
the internal stuff that's kind of went on to separate
with uh, the stuff in the.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
Media with Tua and Tyreek Hill.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
They're publicly talking about players being vocal about practice.

Speaker 5 (20:09):
To the reporters to where now the reporters are.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
Asking McDaniels And it's not like he's got a stature
and laying the log down on what practice is going
to be, like, hey, this is our culture everything else.
He kind of just kind of rolls with the punches.
I just I don't know if a respect meter has
gone down there. Again, I'm not in the weeds that much.
I just see what comes across my timeline, and I
feel like that's been what's been disappointing with the Miami

(20:33):
Dolphins because it felt like, especially a couple of years ago,
they were a team that could compete or be on
the rise with the creativity McDaniels coming in. But it
feels like I think the Dolphins are going to be
lasting division. I think Aaron Glenn's gonna bring some culture
wins and establish something with the Jets. I don't think
the Jets are going to be, you know, the number
two team in the AFC, in the AFC East, But
I think Aaron Glenn and the staff he brought over
with him from Detroit, I think they're gonna be a

(20:54):
little surprises of this year because they have they.

Speaker 5 (20:56):
Have a great deal.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
They have players on defense, they got some weapons on offense.
But that's kind of how I see the the AFC.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
I was, I was hanging there with you until you
said the Jets being above the Dolphins. I think McDaniels
is just he's too creative on the offense side of
the ball. You still have too, you still have Tyreek Hill.
You're missing your entire secondary from the year prior getting
Jaalen Ramsey, guys getting injured. Jayalen Ramsey goes to the Steelers.
But like the Jets are a franchise and they have
a they have an amazing fan base. However, I'm officially

(21:25):
gonna show me, don't tell me, because every single time
they have a new coaching staff come in with this
regime from this this team that won a bunch, they
had a great culture, they're going to steal the culture.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Just it just never shows up. And so like I
need to see something before I.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
See Yeah, But the only thing with Miami scares me
is Tula. Man.

Speaker 6 (21:42):
If Tula is not healthy, if he gets hurt, take
another concussion. We saw what we saw what the Dolphins
can do without him. They can't win a game. So
without him they're in trouble. So if this man take
a hit on his noggin again, here.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
Where are they?

Speaker 3 (21:58):
But also it's like talking about how important culture is,
like if you're going to be a team known that
a team that's known for creativity and strategy, I'm not
gonna say like being cute, but McDaniel's like, if a
strategy or something doesn't work one week, and this is
the feeling you get of the players and how they
the respect meter with the head coach or what goes
on in the media when everything kind of goes to

(22:19):
shit or doesn't go well one week, that affects the
rest of the season. Whereas you're gonna have you were
talking to it earlier, like Rabel turned around an organization
and his leadership and everything else, and like diving into that.
There's a team meeting that happens every morning to where
Rabel paints you keys of success in offense, defense and
special teams, and paint you a picture of how you're

(22:39):
gonna win the football game. Paint you a picture through
practice reps. Paint you a picture through your opponent and
who they've played against. This is why this is a
team key. This is why you have to affect the pocket.
This is why you got to get Lamar Jackson thrown
outside the pocket, get him thrown sideways outside the numbers.
We can't have these hashes open in the middle.

Speaker 7 (22:55):
Right.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
He paints you such a vision.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
And again, I only know how players are spoken about
Aaron Glynn and how he was a Detroit or how
they spoke about him at Detroit. I feel like culture
being established is a massive thing, and I feel like
where Miami's at, it's just gonna take one bad week
for it to kind of just go kind of go south.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
You got to you talk about being cute and all that,
like Kinsey Chiefs are like they are. They can be
cute when a short short yardage of situations where you
think obviously you're going to run, they'll get cute. Slash
a guy he goes out the backfield, you just think
it over to him real quick, and they get the
first down. They've created evidence that when they get into situations,
they're able to come through. McDaniels has not created the

(23:35):
evidence of being cute pays off consistently. I think Andy
Reid after the difference to any read and McDaniel's aside
from Super Bowls winning all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
But yeah, the cuteness.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Works, but you have to create consistent evidence for players
to fully buy in all the time on it.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
So I agree with you on that point. Well up
this episode real quick.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
But you form energy.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Foreign Energy delivers a best in class taste with natural
flavors and zero sugar.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Form.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
Managery has natural caffeinated derived from green tea. Form comes
in a variety of flavors. Talking about screaming freedom that's
rocket pop inspired. Yeah, grape Smash Blue Blitz, Orange Fury.
Perfect for those who love to put in the work
form energy. We do the work when your boys are
here studying for these things. What do we do crack
the top of a form energy slid that they down
were wired. We're moving x'es and o's, i's and w's.

(24:20):
Really computers out there. We do the work form energy.

Speaker 7 (24:22):
Back to this episode, is that your segue to the
AFC West though with the Chiefs or you want to, yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
See West, Like when we're sitting in the AFC West,
it's like one of my favorite divisions to kind of
look at Broncos.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
Oh yeah, Chargers, I'm going Broncos.

Speaker 7 (24:37):
I got the Chiefs. I think the Chiefs much like
the Bill. Okay, here's what I here's what I got though.
I got the Broncos and Chargers making the playoffs too.
I got three teams out of the AFC West making
the playoffs.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
You don't think you don't think you think the Raiders
get left behind?

Speaker 7 (24:51):
Yeah, yeah, let's go. I don't want I don't want to.

Speaker 5 (24:55):
I don't want your boys out there now.

Speaker 7 (24:57):
Yeah. No, Pete's out there and he's gonna.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
Chif Kelly OC you're Gino Smith, middle fingers coming out
of the coming out.

Speaker 7 (25:03):
Of the greater Nation is back. But it's the first year. Okay,
it's the first year. But here's here's what I'm saying.
Like the Chiefs are the Chiefs, Like there's no reason
to bet against them at this point. Like who if
they lost? Who are they? I know they're getting long
in the tooth with Kelsey, but like as as.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
The received, the receiving car is a suspect, but.

Speaker 7 (25:21):
Who is Buddy? Who got hurt?

Speaker 5 (25:22):
Is coming to means? And they are?

Speaker 6 (25:24):
So you got Rice gonna be suspended for four games,
Hollywood Brown, he stays injured. But checko, but checko, that's
the run game. Yes, Jamie Worthy is the only right now,
the only threat they have right now.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
Let's be honest for the Chiefs. Yeah, but yeah, seven
eight hundred l always going to be true. The Kelsey
gonna always be the truth. We know that.

Speaker 6 (25:52):
Yeah, Yeah, is a beast. Beast can play the slot,
play outside. Don't look like a tight end when he's
out there running routes. You want that, but again, you
still need receivers. I get it, they got exavier. He
can take the top off, but you're gonna need those
guys when they double team in either Kelsey or Xavier,
You're gonna need those guys to get open.

Speaker 7 (26:12):
I just don't see the Broncos or the Chargers. I
see them both being like a nine to ten win team.
And I see the Chiefs, you know, back up there
eleven or twelve. I think it'll be close, you know,
I think obviously with Harball, you know down there in LA,
and then you know the Broncos and Buddy from Oregon
what's his name? Yeah, both nick's playing well, I think,

(26:34):
But I still think they're chasing the Chiefs. I think
they close the gap that much more. But the Chiefs
are the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
You can't disagree with the Chiefs division.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
You got fifteen.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
It's more fun to look at the AFC West and
be like, we got Harball, Pete Carroll.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
Andy Reiders, Sean Payne, all on the same division.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
All of them have quarterbacks like people want to hate
on Jena Smith. Jenna Smith as a dog. Mitch the
other day put a little statup. I don't know if
you've a microphone, I don't know it right now, but
if you got something, do you have?

Speaker 5 (27:01):
What's that stat it was like.

Speaker 8 (27:03):
The last two or three years he's led the league
and completion percentage, and then like two years ago he
led the league in passing yards.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Attested that where is p Caroll love? He loves a
strong run game. He got action gent in the run game.
You go to the two offensive line, you look at
Harball and you're like he's doing Rich Eisen Show, sitting
there being like I've had having dreams, affirmations, I've done
ayahuasca in the desert, saying I've got to get Justin
Herbert to the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
How do you do that?

Speaker 1 (27:30):
By winning Super Bowls? Unique culture guy, and people are
buying in a year two. You look at the just
the culture for Jesse Minter from a defensive coordinator standpoint,
he took them from a below average defense to a
top ten defense in the NFL last year. That's gonna
be big time. Bo Nicks ultimate pro sean payin peanut
butter and jelly. They're feeling each other. My high stadium,

(27:50):
very difficult place to play. And also like the Chiefs
didn't have any big acquisitions during the during the free
agency process, like the Chargers went and got uh Mike
ah Becton, who no one's really talking about, won a
Super Bowl last year with the Eagles. Like was playing tackle,
realized he's not as light footed as he should be,
goes in and goes into guard and it starts playing

(28:11):
what's that? Who's a who's the all line coach?

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Stalwart?

Speaker 5 (28:15):
Is he getting moved back to tackling?

Speaker 7 (28:16):
No?

Speaker 2 (28:17):
No, no, you got too great that you got Rashaun Slater,
the kid from broke his leg.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
Yeah, he broke his leg.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
So I think you keep becking and you got to
keep him in that phone booth listen, keep him in
the phone booth area.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
Also shout out with Shaun Slater getting broke off one
hundred plus didn't get hurt.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
It's a fun division to look at. It happens, it's
a fun division to look at.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
I like the Chargers, but I also like the Chiefs,
but I also like the Raiders. Like it's like, it's fun,
it's fun.

Speaker 7 (28:45):
You talked about like no free agent acquisitions though that
that that was the same approach we took in Green Bay.
Though we always draft and developed, Like why you don't
need to change something that's not broken. Right now, three
super bowls in a row, yeah, you come up short
to an amazing Philly team. I mean yeah, Like the
sexy thing to do was go in and bring these
free agents. But they've got the squad, they've got the team,
they've got the coach, Like how.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
Many one score games did they win last year?

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Through that show, there's like a little Tikey teking things
like you can't rely on that. I'm dude, I'm with you, Like,
am I going to be surprised?

Speaker 7 (29:21):
Win?

Speaker 2 (29:21):
And if the Chiefs win the division?

Speaker 5 (29:23):
Again?

Speaker 1 (29:23):
No, but it's like, how exciting is the a f
C West? And you lost Joe Tony by the way,
Michael Nicole Hardman there for a.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
So it's fun. It's fun, dude, an FC North, that's
a fun one.

Speaker 7 (29:47):
I got the Ravens. I got the Ravens. I think,
as hey, you just gotta go with the A f C.
Is not difficult if you miss on the A Chiefs. Ravens,
Bill's Ravens. Every every it's about winning. I'm about stacking doves,
all right.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
You got.

Speaker 7 (30:10):
The NFC. Haven't played the NFC my entire career. I
feel good about that. You all a f C boys
talking about Rabel and the notes he puts on the
on the whiteboard, and I don't care. I want to
know who's gonna win, all right, and that the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
We got another delading on the squad to take these
I'm gonna take a money line.

Speaker 7 (30:33):
I got the Bengals making the playoff as well as
a wild card. I think they get off to a
slow start as well. They don't have an offensive line
to block for Joe Burrow defense. I think you think
of the chemistry of the Bengals, you see what's going
on with Trey Hendrickson. They don't want to invest in
their guys. It's been like that since Carson, even before him.
It's just I don't think it's a locker room. That is,

(30:55):
there's not a lot of centergy or cohesiveness. And then,
like I said, I'm not in there. I'm just I'm
justerva And I think you know, with Burrow back there,
he's capable of throwing you know, five thousand yards. But
at the end of the day, I don't think their
defense holds up. I think they lose some of these games.
And I think the Ravens with Lamar Jackson are just
you know, that team in AFC.

Speaker 9 (31:14):
I think they Win, James Bateman, the line, day line,
Ronnie Stanley, like they I mean, they had a tough
time jaelling earlier in the years, and they really figured
themselves out.

Speaker 5 (31:28):
They got there is a reason why. That's a squad, right, Alexander. Yeah, yeah,
they got Alexander the squad. They got a squad.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
I want to sit there and raise a fly for
the Bengals so much. Like I love Joe Burrow quarterback,
like he deserves twenty two guys on all three sides
of the ball, like playing as well and as hard
as he is, But the defense for me is I
have to stay away. Trey Hendrickson, he's trying to figure
it out. He's magistcruntled their first round draft pick almost

(32:02):
went back to A and M. They have a whole
back and forth. It's like they didn't necessarily get better
on the defense.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
Of the ball.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
And then yeah, like Joe Burrow was essentially cam Ward
in Miami last Year's like he's got to drop forty
just to win a game. So it's like, yeah, it's
fun to watch, and I mean is unbelievable, Like they
have a great offense. They paid everybody to but dude,
I feel like the Steelers. I feel like Steelers in

(32:32):
the best possible position you can be in. Man, Like
when Aaron Rodgers went to the Jets, It's like the
Jets are back, They're going to do X, Y and Z.
Obviously what happened happened at the Jets. Now no one's
talking about Aaron Rodgers like that new car smell has
kind of worn off.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Has he lost it? Is he? Is he done?

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Is he just doing getting a paycheck? Can you not
walk away from the game? I feel like that's exactly
where Aaron Rodgers wants to be. The OC Arthur Smith,
he does a good job of handling unique relationships. Who
does the best job? The head coach, Mike Tomlin does
an amazing job. I love the addition of DK Metcalf.
I love John Smith, who I think is a wildly
underrated tight end with the Miami Smith. Yeah, so right

(33:13):
now the Steelers are sitting in a spot where it's
like no one's talking about them, and that's exactly where
they need to be, not to I.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
Mean, they pay t J.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Watt, you know, the entire bank. He's the highest non
paid quarterback of all time. Leaders leadership with Hayward high Smith.
Smith is a guy that I swear to God is
not talked about enough. He had a growing last year
in an ankle. Last year he missed like six or
seven games, still recorded six sacks. Like, that's a guy
when he's fully healthy. You got to watch out for

(33:43):
him too. But that allows tjd More, allows Cam to
be more. Like I think the Steelers are going to
surprise a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
I'm taking them.

Speaker 7 (33:50):
You talked about him coming up from Miami, like you
had him at cornerback. And however, they want to get
creative with drop.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
On the depth chart for which which means like, I
just feel like he's still got gonna be covering attitude.

Speaker 5 (34:03):
Yeah, I'll tell you what.

Speaker 1 (34:04):
We gotta get Corners away from the loose sleeve jerseys.
Though I don't I don't subscribe to that.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
I like when they have new jerseys.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
Yeah, I don't know why that became cool.

Speaker 5 (34:15):
I don't know why did you do it?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
I got, I got the Steelers.

Speaker 5 (34:19):
The only thing scared me with that is Arthur Smith
and Aaron Rodgers. I just I I know Art, we
have I know Art.

Speaker 6 (34:28):
If they when they started going wrong, they're gonna be
button heads and I told y'all, but I told you
about when it doesn't go it's gonna go wrong. It
doesn't go wrong, it's gonna go wrong with Aaron Rodgers,
straight up.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
Do you think so? No?

Speaker 7 (34:45):
I think I think it's keeping the buck, you know,
you know, I know. I mean, listen, I'm like, what
year twenty year twenty one for him right now? Like
great coaches, they understand their players what they're capable of doing.
Aaron can do everything. And if that means you know,
he's got his checks out there, like I can't speak

(35:05):
to you know when he's behind center and he's doing
what he does out there. But like, his football intelligence
is greater than probably any coach out there because he
has seen it, he's been through it, he sat behind far,
he's now moved around a few franchises. Like I think
he's just that guy and he wants everybody on deck,
everybody on the same page. Hopefully that's the case with

(35:26):
his receivers. I know from watching the Jets last year,
it was just it was dysfunctional. Just not from an
organizational standpoint, perhaps it was, but it was just watching
it on game day, not you know, understanding what they're
running the passes.

Speaker 5 (35:37):
So there were moments though last year, like it's not
like he.

Speaker 7 (35:40):
No, absolutely, if you look at his stats, you think
you think he was terrible. You look at his stats,
I don't know what they are off the top of
my head, but you know they're like upper three thousand,
upper three thousands.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (35:51):
And but I think, like, like you had mentioned Mike
Tomlin as the head coach, you know that defense, phenomenal
offensive acquisitions. I think they're prime to be, you know,
a dark horseness.

Speaker 5 (36:02):
I got Aaron Rodgers four thousand. That's crazy. I like that.

Speaker 6 (36:06):
And I like that because you know Arthur Smith don't
go deep a lot. He likes to run these.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Arthur he eventually Arthur's adopt die.

Speaker 5 (36:16):
I got Aaron Rodgers, who's been his quarterbacks yards?

Speaker 6 (36:20):
Who in his quarterback with US, Ryan Tannehill, Marcus Mariota,
not Aaron, I know. But it's the point of is
Aaron still is he still gonna have that ability to
get the ball down the field. I don't think they
had a quarterback like I know, but they never.

Speaker 5 (36:35):
Also, the old.

Speaker 6 (36:36):
Line is not as strong as y'all saying it is,
So Aaron Rodgers can't play behind a week old line
because he's not about to be running all over the field.
That's not him. He's too old to do that. He
won't do that, I'm telling you right now. That's what
That's where I feel like the upside is gonna come down.
Just like what you said. He feels like he's so smart.
He's smarter than offensive coordinator. That ship get that rubs

(36:57):
people the wrong way when you in the meeting room
when you're quarter back's like, oh well, no, we should
do it.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
You don't think they haven't been building the synergy since
Aaron Rodgers walked to the door.

Speaker 6 (37:07):
I mean he gonna Arthur gonna play his role just
to you know, to make to make him please them
until he don't have to.

Speaker 5 (37:15):
I just what I feel. Ill just think here's why
I like.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
The Steelers in this division. I don't and I like
the I like the Ravens have the best team. Ravens
are gonna be the hardest to beat. Obviously, would not
be surprised if they win the division. I would love
to see Burrow just throw for forty five hundred. I'm
close to picking that on Fandel right now. Joe Burrow
throwing for over forty five.

Speaker 5 (37:34):
I would rather do that one than Aaron Rodgers.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
But here's why I liked Here's why I like the
Steelers coming out on this division because when you look
at the schedule between the Ravens and the Steelers, I'll
just rattle these off.

Speaker 5 (37:47):
Ravens gotta play.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
They open up at Buffalo, they host Detroit, they play
at Kansas City. They're playing Houston, the Rams, you got Minnesota,
you got obviously, they're in division games.

Speaker 5 (37:59):
You got New England, you got Green Bay.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
They're playing a lot of playoff teams that were in
the playoffs last year, and when you go to the Steelers,
you're not seeing any of those teams. Like they go
at New York, the Jets, they play Seattle, they play
New England, they play Minnesota, they play the Browns or
obviously the teams in their division, the.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
Colts, Green Bay, the Bears.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
They don't have they don't have a lot of they
don't have a lot of like ex playoff teams that
they have to play.

Speaker 6 (38:28):
Similar to think they went out of the first five.
How many of you giving them out of the first five?

Speaker 3 (38:33):
So they got their first four? Is the Jets, Seattle,
New England, Minnesota, and then they have a bye week
in the Browns. If they're dropping any games, I see
him dropping New England, New England or Minnesota.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
But also Minnesota's got a new quarterback J J. McCarty.

Speaker 3 (38:47):
I mean, yeah, Minnesota I think is a year away.
They're hosting Minnesota. Yeah, well they're not hosting. It's a
thirty AM, So that tells me it's overseas.

Speaker 5 (38:57):
Oh yeah, but hot.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
But those those first four, you know how you break
it down to like as a player, Obviously there's more
games now, but when of sixteen win sixteen games, it's
like a quarter at the time.

Speaker 5 (39:08):
Your first first four, you.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
Open up with the Jets, Seattle, New England, Minnesota.

Speaker 6 (39:13):
You get three of them. They're in a great spot.
They go Jets. They playing the Jets at the Jets.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
Yeah, they're going to New York. I really think the
Jets gonna turn around this year. We'll see. And then
the Ravens.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
In their first four you got Buffalo, the Browns, the Lions,
Kansas City.

Speaker 5 (39:30):
I like it.

Speaker 3 (39:31):
Well, yeah, it's great for football, it's great for fans
electric year. But I'm saying that's that's that's that's purely
based on schedule and teams they have to play. Ravens
feel like they're playing everybody from the playoffs last year.
Pittsburgh feels like they're not. They're not playing any weeks
outside of their division that's been the playoffs.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
Texas, Texas. It's heartbreaking into Texas.

Speaker 6 (39:56):
I mean, the Titans gotta show me something. I just
couldn't decide. I don't picking the.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
Tys going by right now in the locker room show
Onward Texans.

Speaker 6 (40:05):
Yeah, what do you guys think about the stuff that
just went down with the Colts? I mean, I believe
that was gonna happen. The man couldn't pick up a
regular blitz on a cover two rotation to Richardson.

Speaker 5 (40:18):
Yeah, Anthony Richardson, he couldn't pick up that blitz.

Speaker 6 (40:20):
It was a It showed cover too, but they rotate
to a cover three brung only like a Sam Dog
or something like that, and he didn't see it. Breaks
his pinky. You don't want to put a quarterback out there.
He's a liability. You have to make that decision.

Speaker 5 (40:33):
You have to.

Speaker 6 (40:34):
Don't get Dame Jones. All he can do is lose
the position. And Richardson goes back in and gets his
job back. That's literally where we're sitting at with that decision.

Speaker 7 (40:42):
Yeah, and it's you know what that was his second
year last year started?

Speaker 5 (40:45):
Was he he's in year three three?

Speaker 3 (40:46):
Okay, I mean he's only played fifteen games, so because
he's got a lot of injury, like a lot of
he gets injured.

Speaker 7 (40:52):
Yeah, Or you think of like the Trey Lance situation
forty nine ers when they you know, they benched him
so to speak, and I know that was because of
injuries as well, but it takes a lot. You almost
commend the team for ripping the band aid off and
admitting the mistake of drafting him. So you know, it's
it's tough, you know to kind of see that situation.
But you look at, like you said, all the off

(41:13):
field stuff too, like like you know, coming out of
the game, pulling yourself out when you tire. We got
a hip hop rap career on the side too, Like
you need everybody bought in, And I think Daniel Jones
gives him a better chance, but a better chance to
do what it's not.

Speaker 5 (41:29):
It's not when the.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
Dis people are going off to the coach too, because
it's like they're seeing it as the Coats organization. You
knew he was twenty one years old, you knew who
was young, you knew he was going to be a project.
You got to give him reps. You have to give
him time. And I think all of us from like
with experience playing in the league, like this game has
a small window for everybody, not just the players, the staff,

(41:51):
front office people. There's probably people sitting in that front
office seeing like, yeah, we gave up on him, Like
this person is saying it right, There's probably people being like, yeah,
we should have done this a while back. Because you
have the injury. He hasn't been available. Your best ability
is availability in the NFL, he hasn't been available because
of injuries. Is he showing promise and progress? On the
promise side, he flashes, he makes incredible plays, but as

(42:13):
far as consistency doing the little things, hitting guys out
in the flat, picking up simple day one install blitzes
in preseason, it's like, how long of a lease are
you going to give them before the staff or people
in the front office start feeling tight.

Speaker 5 (42:26):
We're not going to have a long time here.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
If we don't make a decision, they're essentially preserving themselves
or like we gotta yeah.

Speaker 5 (42:32):
Hey, we have to admit that we kind of fucked
this up.

Speaker 3 (42:34):
Daniel Jones, I only know based on one interview that
happened in the locker room where they were interviewing one
of the players and they talk about how much command
that Daniel Jones has.

Speaker 5 (42:41):
They're talking about his intangible stuff. He just seems understanding.
Know the offense. They did the same thing last year.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
When they threw what Flacco in there, when they ended
up pulling the plug on Anthony Richardson because they're like, hey,
we're just gonna start Flacco. Dude pulls himself out of
the game for being too tired, gets called out like
I'm not surprised. I feel like was bound to happen,
especially again, not being on the inside is the promise
in making progress, and apparently he hasn't made the progress,

(43:08):
or he hasn't had the intentionality of being in the room.

Speaker 5 (43:10):
Maybe he shows up early, but maybe.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
It's not carrying over to the from practice field to
the games, and it's just like, what the fuck else
can we do here?

Speaker 5 (43:18):
For the highest of highs when he does have him.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
But the inconsistencies and the floor he has right now,
it's almost like they had to make the switch to
Daniel Jones.

Speaker 1 (43:26):
Anthony Richardson, he only knows this answer, but it's like,
how much effort and work are you putting into the
day in and day out processes of being able to
be an NFL quarterback.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
He's the only one that knows that answer.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
For them to make this decision at this point right now,
for Daniel Jones to be the starting quarterback, it's got
to be a Daniel Jones just above and beyond right
now and the self preservation of the upper office Jim Mercey,
he's gone now. Like ownership, there's a whole there's a
lot of changing.

Speaker 5 (43:50):
DJ might be operating right now in that, Yeah, he
might be.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
The people I feel bad for are like Quentin Nelson.
He's sitting in the locker room.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
He was asked after practice the other day, you know,
are you frustrated because you're not having a quarterback in
their year and in a year out when you have
a kind of a revolving door of who your guy
is going to be? And as politely and we all
know Quentin Nelson how good of a guy he is
off the field, as politely as as he possibly could
say yes, it's very frustrated and not have that cohesiveness,

(44:20):
that consistency of having somebody back there that you can
build a rapport with week in and week out, year
and a year out.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
So it's like it's hurting them. They've got to find
their guy. Is DJ the guy? I don't know?

Speaker 1 (44:30):
But if Anthony richards not the guy, it's like sometimes
you gotta just may a clean cut. Now. The good
news for Anthony Richardson Bryce Young, he was benched last year,
comes back. He kind of resparked in and reunited like, Okay,
maybe we do have something here. He got a little
kick in the ass. Baker Mayfield is the first overall
pick for the Cleveland Browns. He starts bouncing over the place,
kind of resurrects his career when he has a two

(44:51):
day notice with the Rams comes by and he has
a game winning drive. Now he's found a home in
a one hundred million dollar contract at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
So there's still hope for him. There's got to be
a level of maturity that takes place on understanding of
your process, how your mind works, and the best way
for you to get from Sunday to Sunday with the
answers to the test. He's got to figure that out.
No one else can do it for him. Sucks for him.

(45:12):
You just kind of hope that they kind of right
the ship. It hurts me more than anything is picking
the Texas.

Speaker 5 (45:16):
I mean, Daniel Jones is like a few years ago,
he was an elite quarterback. They gave him a deal.
We thought he was going to be a stud and
he came out and he pretty much shit the bed.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
Well, there's a lot of you know, there's a lot
of evidence in a resume there that you know they're
running through like five different offensive line rotations they're working.
He's working with the threes. There's not a lot of weapons. Yeah,
he had Malik Neighbors last year and stuff, but he
hasn't necessarily had a roster to work with. The Colts
do have some talent on the roster, so it will
be interesting to see. And also at the beginning when

(45:45):
they brought Daniel Jones in, they the Colts are saying like,
this is a this is a this is an open competition. Yeah,
this job isn't Anthony Richardson's. It's not you know, obviously
Daniel Jones.

Speaker 6 (45:55):
But again, everything that's went down over the last couple years,
especially last year, like how you saw the Colts operate
with Anthony Richmond after he tapped out, after they put
into a Flaco, used a few different quarterbacks.

Speaker 5 (46:05):
It was open competition. It seemed like Daniel Jones won
the job out right.

Speaker 6 (46:08):
Do anyone know if Daniel Jones did the did the
Colts take it, pick up his contract or did they
give him a new contract and when he.

Speaker 5 (46:18):
Yeah, yeah, I really they got him at a good price.

Speaker 6 (46:21):
Okay, And that's cool because if he had the if
they took that contract over, he needs to start.

Speaker 8 (46:26):
He's signed for one year, fourteen million, one year fourteen.

Speaker 5 (46:30):
They paid him to come in and compete.

Speaker 7 (46:33):
Do they have any money for a future?

Speaker 2 (46:34):
I mean, yeah, that's a good question.

Speaker 5 (46:37):
Ireland Join.

Speaker 1 (46:38):
This episode is brought to you by Michelobultra Superior light Beer.
Very fun, the delicious taste of victory deserves something equally superior.
Cheer on your team with the Michelobultra at two point
six carves and ninety five calories at the Superior smooth
taste worth playing for Michelo Ultra Superior Light Beer let's.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
Get back to this episode.

Speaker 7 (46:56):
I mean, unless they just tank this next year and
get you know, top five pick, which could very well
be the case.

Speaker 1 (47:02):
Got a lot of quarterbacks in the off the case. Yeah,
I'm trying to tank. Should we hit NFC. We are
getting a little I will.

Speaker 3 (47:09):
Say we're very excited about camp Moore in the Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
They excited.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
We are very I think the expectation you need to
hold the expectation there win six seven games. I think
you need to be proud of the Tennessee Titan fan.

Speaker 5 (47:19):
I want a lot of this.

Speaker 1 (47:21):
He's got the attitude like he's in first one in,
last one out mentality coach. You got to make him
get out of the building like he's got all the stuff.
I just don't think he has the pieces right now.
I don't think he's pieces right now.

Speaker 8 (47:31):
You have the winning the ac outright.

Speaker 2 (47:40):
And the GM may or may not have given me
a reason to back him a whole bunch.

Speaker 5 (47:44):
I just said, we can put them through the table
they win. Yeah, we need to go to the parade.
Well if they if they win, you can slam them
through the table. The super Bowl. We need to be
at the at the parade at the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
So yeah, so did did the bat?

Speaker 5 (48:00):
We got the Super Bowl?

Speaker 2 (48:02):
Yeah, I know, being essentially he bribed us, bribe me
into I'm picking up.

Speaker 5 (48:06):
Yeah, that's that's what's I'll go Bills. I think it's
up in the air. Bro it is.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
I mean, it's it's it's all you never knows to happen.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
Injuries happened, but like, yeah, right now where I sit,
reserve the right to change my mind all throughout the year,
but right now I'm going.

Speaker 5 (48:25):
Who should Who is the Bills most afraid of? Though?
Right now? Who would you say if the Bills should
be Chiefs Broncos? What what I mean? The villain in
the Bills, the villain in their story is the chief.
I know, I trust me, but I feel like the
Chiefs ain't gonna be as good as they were. No,
I agree with what you're saying.

Speaker 7 (48:46):
Who should I'm said, Ravens are I'm taking the rave
I'm just I'm.

Speaker 5 (48:50):
Just asking a question. You just said, what about the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
I'm taking the Ravens. But yeah, I got the Bills. Ravens, Ravens, Bills, Bills. Yeah,
that's where we're at.

Speaker 5 (49:04):
NC, Go ahead, will NFC South. I got the Bucks, Bucks, Bucks.

Speaker 7 (49:11):
I think they're battling at about nine ten wins with
the Falcons. But I think, you know, the Bucks pull
it out way you said with the Falcons. The Falcons
with panis Yep.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
Yeah, I think, I mean, I think, I think you're right.

Speaker 5 (49:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
I think Baker Mayfield. I love his story, I love
his attitude.

Speaker 6 (49:30):
There are some question marks with the Godwin and well
he just signed sixty six million dollars contracts, so he
coming back.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
Okay, the injury or what Yeah they're talking about yeah, yeah,
the health of him right now. And Tristan Tristian Worfs, Yeah,
Christian Worfs.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
They did it, I mean free agency. They got Hassan Reddick,
who was like he sit up the entire sat Yeah,
set up for the whole year, but was electric. They
get rid of Shack, Barrett Shacks, a little older, longer
in the tooth, as you like to say. I think
it's a good trade off. I just don't see the
Falcons thinking of big step. I think that the Panthers
are going to be with the Panther's going to be.
I think, you know, they might get a little bit

(50:04):
better this year than the Saints. We still don't know
who the starting quarterbacks is gonna be. I know Jp
Hovey somewhere saying it's got to be a rattler and
Kellen Moore new head coach, but like it's the Bucks,
it's the Bucks division to lose.

Speaker 3 (50:14):
Remind me he's just stud and I hate that. I'm
forgetting his name right now. Remind me of the running
back with the Bucks, Rookie Bucky Irving, Tampa Bacon run
the football.

Speaker 5 (50:27):
Take we talk about you talk about Baker.

Speaker 3 (50:28):
Mayfield, Evans Godwin, all those, all the weapons he has,
They Bucky Irving, they can run the football.

Speaker 5 (50:35):
I like the Bucks.

Speaker 1 (50:38):
Their new OC. Like you got to make sure that
him and Baker Mesh. He was obviously the offensive passing
coordinator last year. He's just walked into a new role
of calling the plays now. Hopefully they keep the thinking
the same thing going. And Mike Evans, Buddy, he just.

Speaker 3 (50:51):
Guarantee the eleven championship for an NFC championship. Do you
I like him competing. I don't know if I got
him right now, but I like winning the division. They
are competing, but I'm talking about making a run you're
not talking like Bucks. You know they get in, They're
probably not gonna go far, right, I'm talking about it.

Speaker 5 (51:09):
I think they can be You.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
See them in the NFC yeah, and a nail bighter
in the divisional yea yeah, championship game.

Speaker 5 (51:16):
I mean a division is weak, so they should be fun.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Let's get to Let's get to the NFC North, Clay,
this is your world.

Speaker 7 (51:23):
There is my world right here.

Speaker 2 (51:25):
Are you going to be a homer?

Speaker 7 (51:27):
Homer all the way Packers plus two thirty? You know
what I mean that you wanted me to mix it
up and there the easy decision, like you're getting on
me for is the Lions, right, But I'm worried about
the Lions and losing Aaron Glenn. Uh. Yeah, I'm going
going to Chicago.

Speaker 9 (51:42):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (51:43):
And then you know with Sam Darnold leaving and you
got J. J. McCarthy talking about this not knowing what
he's brought. So I think the Packers get up early
in the season. I'm not saying they're the best team
by the end of the year, but I think it's
gonna I think that's gonna be the deepest division, the
NFC North, the Black and Blue Division. I got the
powers and lines making the playoff. Packers winning it a game.

(52:04):
Maybe they're tied, but they got the half game lead.
Whatever it is, I think, uh Jordan Love, Josh Jacobs,
the receivers kind of you know, their their availability we
talk about, you know, they're constantly hurt. True, I forgot
about that.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
I mean, buddy, how could you forget that?

Speaker 7 (52:22):
We were there?

Speaker 5 (52:23):
You you still.

Speaker 7 (52:26):
Thank you? But you know, run game. I think it's
the Packers year. I think it's it's they win the
NFC North. I think the Lions just they don't put
it together. You hear some of this talk coming out
of training camp, you know, some inconsistencies on offense. Not
sure about the defense. But the Vikings, I'm not all
in on them. I think the Packers eat this one out.

Speaker 5 (52:45):
You haven't even mentioned the Bears.

Speaker 7 (52:48):
Bears look good on their one drive. But I know, bro,
it's preseason, Like I don't even care about I watched
your door play the Eagles or whoever it was in
week one.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Three?

Speaker 7 (53:01):
Oh yeah, yeah, but that's it. I haven't watched.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
Any It'll be interesting with Ben Johnson the new Yeah,
well him. People were saying, not a leader of men.

Speaker 6 (53:09):
It was.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
It was a weird shot at him. But then Caleb
Williams unique personality. Is he going to take the step
because last year it's like, what are we doing?

Speaker 7 (53:17):
He's got all the talent.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
Yeah, too many.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
Questions marks and Bears, too many question marks with Minnesota
for you to sit and like really playing a flag.

Speaker 7 (53:22):
And the Packers, you know, I know they were what
one in four to one and five in divisional games
last year, losing to the Bears, losing to the Vikings
twice and the Lions twice, But I think they get
over on him this year. They continue playing well with
the AFC opponents they have the other NFC they also
finished did they finished second or third in there in
the NFC North, which means they're going to play that

(53:44):
Tier three of the NFC right there, which allows him
for an easier schedule. So I think just by if
you're playing the odds, I think they finished first.

Speaker 1 (53:52):
You you can definitely sell me on all those points.
And I know the Lions they lost lost a few guys,
Frank Ragnow, Kevin Zeidler. The thing for me is it's culture, culture, culture,
and it's like you watch Netflix quarterback, you watch the quarterback.
You watch the way they approach every single week Dan Campbell,
the way he is in press conference is the way

(54:12):
you go to their training camps and you see that
they are truly about bringing this brand up to what
they need to be, which is the Super Bowl champions.
I I've bought so much stock in them, and I
love the idea of my god, I'm forgetting his name,
but to Michigan to Electric, he was playing a defensive

(54:33):
player of the year mentality who had the statute for
it gets the tim fib getting a sack sucks. You
see the he's just working in silence. Every once in
a while, you'll get on Twitter, you'll get on the Bird.

Speaker 2 (54:44):
You see a little clippy of him just hitting the corner. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (54:50):
Piece of view is like, if this dude comes back
and they have that type of rush, I think that's
what they're missing last year to get over the hump.

Speaker 7 (54:57):
I've seen some the internet speak some of these video.
In one of is one on ones, he looks good.

Speaker 5 (55:02):
No, I would just.

Speaker 7 (55:04):
Was hot because that's the type of injury, you know,
and he's he's about to get paid. You know, he's
this guy and it's just a freak accident. He just
got leg whipped, you know, or he leg whipped someone
breaks tip fib like you said. But now to see
him come back, I'm just happy on a personal level
for him that I hope he gets back to where
he was at. He's showing it. He's ready to continue
what he's doing and get paid for.

Speaker 2 (55:22):
Good.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
Thing about a tip fid when you're young, too, it's
not like a ligament type of thing. You just hey,
put him metal plate in that iron man now, like
you kind of as long as you can get over
it mentally, a lot of times you go.

Speaker 7 (55:32):
Back to the same I see that big black pad
on his pasty legs like mine. It worries me. But
then he he dips under and I go, yeah, he's there.

Speaker 1 (55:39):
He's kind of got it, got the attitude, and he's
he's a great leader too. Once he's out, you're not
losing him from a stat standpoint. But it's like like
getting a rising tight to lift all boats. Like he
brought that defense to a whole new level.

Speaker 2 (55:50):
So I like the Lions. I'm gonna play my flags
the Lions, but I would not be surprised with the packers.

Speaker 5 (55:53):
Hey, I'm saying with the Lions. I mean they just
still got too many threats on the outside. I'm rah Laplorida.
You got Jamison Williams and you himns the back. J
Gibbs like great offensive line.

Speaker 1 (56:12):
Yeah, you have two great tackles. Graham Glasgow is one
of the more underrated guards in the entire league. H
you gotta fix that problem with Frank Ragno. I know
he dealt some injuries early, like like last year a lot,
which probably led to him retiring a little bit early.
You fix that Zeitler being gone, Like, you got three
core guys in there that are going to uplift that.

Speaker 2 (56:32):
I think they're gonna hold the standard.

Speaker 5 (56:33):
Yeah, I like him a lot. I like him a lot.

Speaker 3 (56:35):
I'm in line with with Clay. I think the Lions
make the playoffs. I think the Packers edge them out.

Speaker 5 (56:40):
I think there's being in the lot, being in the
locker room.

Speaker 3 (56:45):
I think you're no better, no better spots where you
have the roster, you have a good defense, you have
the pieces of offense you need.

Speaker 5 (56:52):
Jordan Love to stay healthy. We know he's light skinned.
Them softish can jump up on him and he can
be out.

Speaker 7 (56:56):
Fore, he just had surgery on his left thumb. He
tore tore ligaman and and so now he's getting light.
You know, we're a couple of weeks away from week one,
Like yeah, Star fast.

Speaker 5 (57:04):
And yeah, yeah, y'all back up. I mean your backup
is okay, but.

Speaker 7 (57:08):
I don't even know who that is.

Speaker 5 (57:10):
They can win with them, They can win with them.

Speaker 3 (57:12):
And they can run the football again. They you know,
you got Joran Love, but they can run the football.
They have good they have good run defense. They return
all of these pieces. And when the focus in the building,
the urgency can be tailored around winning your division. Because
they stumbled in the division last year, even though they
still made the playoffs and everything else. But when you
can bring the focus in the building to we have

(57:33):
to win our division, I think it brings a sense
of urgency. With the talent you have on that roster,
I think they edge out the Lions.

Speaker 6 (57:39):
And that's why I like the Packers in the coming
out of the North NFC West interesting division.

Speaker 1 (57:49):
At the end of the day, I'm leaning towards the
forty nine ers. You want to kind of look at
the Rams and Sean McVay. But then there's all these
reports stuff coming out about Stafford.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
He's got a back issue. He is older.

Speaker 7 (58:00):
Know how bad it is though, or you haven't practiced.

Speaker 5 (58:03):
He can just he can just do it.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
I mean he's tough ast shit.

Speaker 5 (58:08):
He is shit.

Speaker 3 (58:09):
And you're talking about man Davante Adamska Nakula, I'm with you.

Speaker 5 (58:14):
Aaron Williams, Yeah, just got paid.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
They were nice last year to that young defense, a
defensive line, they were all like the first second year time,
first second year guys. Yeah, they are animals, bro, They're
gonna be good.

Speaker 7 (58:25):
They're gonna be They're made to win the super Bowl,
They're made to win the West. I just I'm just
a little worried. And I think you can talk about
Sola coming back to the forty nine ers. Obviously it's
like sexy for the defense and whatnot. McCaffrey, you know,
getting healthy again, it's it's once again. It's one of
those ones where it's hard to bet against them. If
they can get back to their winning ways once again.

Speaker 5 (58:45):
They stay healthy.

Speaker 7 (58:46):
Finishing third in their division, they're gonna have an easier schedule.
Let's hope Stafford comes back. But I see I didn't
pick him, but I got the Seahawks as a Seahawks
as playoff team. That's talk about great defense, run the ball,
don't turn it over. Ten wins last year, ten and
seven last year, same as the Texans, same as a

(59:06):
bunch of the other other teams. Gino Smith whatever he
did out there last year and he's not there anymore.
But now you're bringing Sam Donald.

Speaker 5 (59:12):
Shown but you got Sam Donald.

Speaker 7 (59:15):
Right you you who's the young buck they have? But
they yeah, they got yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 5 (59:20):
And so in Zach year from u c l A.

Speaker 7 (59:24):
Yeah, yeah, you do a great yeah.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (59:27):
I'm just saying they run the ball, don't turn it over,
play great defense. I could see they're getting in the playoffs.
They could be playing with the forty.

Speaker 6 (59:36):
Nine ers in the Rams with the offensive coordinator Coupon
at Kobet Cobt.

Speaker 7 (59:43):
A couple ends.

Speaker 8 (59:43):
And yeah yeah, they also just signed Cooper cup.

Speaker 7 (59:50):
I was with Coop in twenty nineteen, and you was
down in that bet.

Speaker 5 (59:53):
You was down in that bet. I'm telling you you
still got to do it.

Speaker 7 (59:57):
I got Niners, but I got Ram Seahawks making the playoffs.
I think I just think, you.

Speaker 5 (01:00:03):
Know, you know, give me all of them except the Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
We're actually expanding the playoff this year and we're taking
them all. Yeah, I got them niners, dude. I know
they lost a lot of guys. They lost a lot
of guys in a free aanency Deebo, Samuel Hargrave. They
lost a lot of people on their defense. But you
still got culture. Brock Bowers, brock Bowers, Rock Party, CMC,
Fred Warner, Trent Williams, George Kittle, like you have the

(01:00:30):
nucleus of culture in your locker room. You know, everyone's
getting older. The sense of urgency is there because of
the failure of last year.

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
This is the year that they have to do.

Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
Something because I don't know if there's another year. You
get to sit with that group of guys and say
they have an opportunity to do something. They gotta stay healthy.
They're not very deep, but if they can do those
things and stay healthy, which is borderline impossible, I think
their contenders.

Speaker 5 (01:00:53):
I'm actually I'm excited to see I'm excited to see
them play. Man. I got to do a golf tournament
with them, and I was hanging with Matt Jones. Man.

Speaker 6 (01:01:00):
He was actually and I you know, I said some
stuff about Matt Jones when he played for the Patriots.
But after hanging out with that dude he is, he's solid.
I hope he get a shot to go out there
and ball out and make some plays like just being true.

Speaker 5 (01:01:12):
For like him. Yeah, he is real. He a real dude, bro, real.
I feel you. I didn't make my pick, make your pick.

Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
I'm just gonna go ahead and rock with the boys
San Francisco, and I'm just gonna go ahead and say
the insurance policy would not be surprised if the Rams
and you glow. He kind of talked to me to
the Seahawks a little bit. It's gonna be a fun
division too, because it's like Davante Adams and look again,
it's all health. It's all health between the Rams and

(01:01:51):
also the Niners because we did the same song and
dance last year with the Niners. It's the windows closing.
This is the time you do it with this group
of guys. They have him back around this year. Last
year they showed us they couldn't all stay on the
field at the same time. I'm gonna rock with them
because we're tight in. We're tight together. I'm rock with
the Niners. But I also it's gonna to me it's
gonna be uh. The Rams are the Niners. If Stafford's healthy,

(01:02:14):
I think they have a hell of a squad. I
think that young I think that young defense is gonna
be nasty. Stafford is a dog, he's tough at shit.
He's got Davonte Adams, He's got Pooka Nakula Kyun Williams.
McVeigh is a brainiac. You also got the same thing
with shanahann I'll go ahead and give the nod to
the Niners, but they're.

Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
Right there from one A, one B for me, that
clip of Sean mcberry putting up Devanta Adams in front
of the team. Yeah, and he's the only guy that
like leaves the Packers, goes to the Raiders, gets a
little more quiet, goes to the Jets, gets a little
more quiet. But everyone's still like, still a top five.

Speaker 6 (01:02:46):
I mean he still can run ross. I mean you
can see it on film. He's just not getting the
ball thrown to him right open.

Speaker 1 (01:02:54):
Receivers only get quiet. Statistically, everyone's kind of like, move
on with Davanta Adams. Everyone's like, no, no, no, he's still.

Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
I'm going I'm going Rams. Did you see to do that?

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
George I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (01:03:07):
They had a meme of him, like you know, have
you ever been to like a dryer cleaners drying cleaner's
shop and how they come out on the rack like
they get your clothes. They had Stafford coming out on
the rack. Ge't getting ready to play in again, like
this is a season opener. You see him coming out
on the rack, drop his ass the field, hopefully his

(01:03:30):
back all right, Nah, he should be all right, give him.

Speaker 2 (01:03:33):
Some your division, your world.

Speaker 5 (01:03:37):
I think it's the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
I think it's the Eagles until like if the Commanders
are going to compete, the Commanders are gonna be going
to compete in the East.

Speaker 5 (01:03:46):
They have to get better on defense.

Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
They're the only you know, you look at uh you
know ten, ten of the best, like nine of the
top ten run defenses.

Speaker 5 (01:03:56):
All those teams made the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
The only alien, the only outre of a bottom run
defense was Washington that made the playoffs and they made
an exciting run. But I think if they're gonna push
to win that division because I think they got the
ability on offense, I think Jay Daniel's gonna have a
hell of a year potentially being MVP. Talks early in
the year and carrying it all the way through. I
think he's that much of a stud. But if they're
gonna close the gap and being the guys in the East,

(01:04:20):
it's gonna be on defense. I know they've made it
a focus on run defense, the mentality on defense. I
know they let Jonathan Allen go. They got some different
guys on the defensive line, but that's where that's where
Washington can gain ground.

Speaker 5 (01:04:33):
But I do have the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
To me, it's like, as long as that team's put together,
they have aliens everywhere, and I don't see him slowing
down unless something happens, and it would start at the
quarterback position, unless something happens with Jalen Hurts and there's
moments where he misses receivers and there's a.

Speaker 5 (01:04:49):
Little drama that starts to happen. Other than that, I
don't see the Eagles slowing down. I mean, they did
do some added on defense, they added von Miller, so
hopefully he get right.

Speaker 1 (01:04:57):
But you were telling you this is this is vond
Miller twenty twenty five. He had six sacs last year
in twelve games. Like he like, he's still a guy.

Speaker 5 (01:05:05):
You have to lose. But again we're talking.

Speaker 3 (01:05:10):
We're talking in the past game like if Washington is
going to get bedder, it has to be the run defense.

Speaker 5 (01:05:17):
Yeah yeah, And Vaughan's not a guy you're bringing in. No, no, no.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
The Commander straight me is like a in a very
unique way, like the way the Bengals draft Joe Burrow
and the next year, like you gotta get a tackle,
you gotta do this, like we're gonna, we're gonna, we're
gonna double down on just getting more weapons, and they
end up going to the Super Bowl that year. The
thing that takes me away from the Eagles is just history.
Like the last time NFC East won the back to
back titles, it was two thousand and four, and so

(01:05:41):
every year it's been somebody else. It's always just kind
of switched Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, and also just been a
revolving door who the champion is going to be. I
love the addition of Lamby Tunzel. I love the addition
to Deebo Samuel. I think Jane Daniels Janie yeah him.
I think because of history, I think the Eagles are
absolute juggernauts. They're gonna make the playoffs. I think having fun,

(01:06:06):
having a good time seeing how exciting they could be
making to the NFC championship last year. I'm gonna go
with the Commanders. It's a fun division to watch.

Speaker 6 (01:06:14):
Fun but you know, if you look at the talks
and what people saying, you know, second year quarterbacks usually
coming in they have a down spout, like because people
started figuring him out, learning statistics, know what they like
to do. I'm scared that he has a drop off
this year. That's the only JS Daniels have a drop off.
That's the only part.

Speaker 7 (01:06:33):
That's That's what I'm thinking. I'm saying, it's Philadelphia is
you know, obviously Washington last year they made the playoffs
in that incredible run. But ultimately I think J Daniels
takes a step back. And that doesn't mean he's not exciting.
He showed in this preseason game, you know, he had
some scramble for a touchdown like he's gonna make electric plays.
I just don't know if, like if that was anomaly

(01:06:53):
last year. But like you said, now we figure out
how to guard him, how to contain him, make him
pass whatever it may be. I think it's he can
throw the rock.

Speaker 3 (01:07:01):
He can throw, but it isn't comparable in the league.
Ite'ts Lamar Jackson. I mean j Neals had you know,
all those pass years, he had over eight hundred rushing yard,
like he can sling the rock.

Speaker 5 (01:07:11):
He also hurt too, du He also got hurt the ball.
He also got hurt running the ball.

Speaker 6 (01:07:15):
And they had a Marcus Mariota that can come in
and almost simulate the same thing he was doing.

Speaker 5 (01:07:20):
But do they have that back up Marcus dominated dominate.

Speaker 6 (01:07:23):
That's what I'm saying, So you he will get hurt because,
like you said, he does like to run the ball,
He likes to take chances. He put the team on
his back, and his his catastrophical plays was sixteen percent.

Speaker 5 (01:07:34):
That's really high. Whatever however you say it was very Spanish, Yeah, catastrophic,
it was high.

Speaker 6 (01:07:42):
It was sixteen percent because he threw a lot of
interceptions or took a lot of sacks. I mean he
didn't have a lot of intercept he had four, but
he took a lot of sacks when he should have
threw the ball away.

Speaker 5 (01:07:50):
These are things he needs to learn or learn from
or it's going to hurt him in the long run.

Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
Yeah, I haven't, haven't the awareness.

Speaker 5 (01:07:57):
I got him on the playoffs, into the talent.

Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
How deep the Eagles are on defense, off, they got
everything every when.

Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
We went to their camp, every every position group you there, like,
oh shit, I know he was on the team.

Speaker 5 (01:08:10):
Yeah, this guy you don't even play because there's so many.

Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
Good they really, they really had a stack emphasis. They
really have a stack squad out there. But I like,
I want to get excited about the Commanders. I want to,
so I'm kind of just talking myself into the into
them over the Eagles. But and also two thousand and four,
last time anybody went back to.

Speaker 2 (01:08:33):
Back it was the Eagles.

Speaker 7 (01:08:39):
So I got the Eagles, Egles, Eagles.

Speaker 1 (01:08:46):
I don't know, give me the Lions. For the same
reason as I said, culture, culture, culture, you gotta have it.

Speaker 7 (01:08:51):
Will I like the packers of the Rams, So you
switched back to the to the Rams right at You
don't even know who I.

Speaker 5 (01:09:01):
Gave what I gave the team just sitting here talking
ball with all y'all.

Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
Yeah, these guys are probably just like Will change five.

Speaker 5 (01:09:08):
Hey, who did I have as my NFC winner?

Speaker 7 (01:09:19):
It's get talking the Rams.

Speaker 6 (01:09:22):
Or as I had the Lions. I'm gonna go us
I'm gonna go packers like it, Go pack, go, go
pack Go. Who'd you take?

Speaker 7 (01:09:36):
I got the Eagles. I got the Eagles.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
MVP brought to you by True Classic, True Classic m
v ps. My m v P Josh Allen. See him
and see him practice. I picked them to win the
a f C, to win their division, and spoiler alert,
I'm picking them to win the Super Bowl. Your boy's
gonna be at the parade. I'll be diving through tables,
pouring mustard of myself. It's all in the back of
the hard work of Josh Allen. Go to practice, see

(01:09:58):
him miss two passes. He goes in, shakesweall and ice
hands like an appolute jackass. And he's gonna just tell
he's relaxed, he's cool, calm and confident. He's he's doubling
down the MVP this year.

Speaker 6 (01:10:08):
I'm taking Jalen Hurts to win the NFL m VP.
I think they got the best team in football. And
it don't just take one player. Takes a team for
a player to get an m v P. And that's
what's gonna happen with the Eagles.

Speaker 5 (01:10:19):
Baby, My MVP Joe Burrow.

Speaker 7 (01:10:22):
Joe Burrow just that's it, Bill Burrow, Joe Burrow, I
got Lamar Jackson. I think you know, you look at
last year what he said he should have won it.
Last year I voted for team give it to Josh Allen.
I don't see him slowing down at all, especially with
Derek Henry.

Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
There also Joe Brady, the OC for the Bills, Like
we get to we get to camp and he's like,
I should have want my boys hat like he's he's
like ingraining the culture of bustling with the boys, but
instead of talking ball to us, he's like, you gotta
get Josh.

Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
And a dick joke.

Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
No one gets him. You got to get him. So
you got to see that's bought in to what Josh
Allen has bought into very rare.

Speaker 5 (01:10:56):
And then yeah, yeah what he got it's mind sets
will super Bowl pick was the Lions, but.

Speaker 7 (01:11:11):
I got the Ravens. I got Lamar winning the m
v P. I got to win the Super Bowl MVP,
and I got the Baltimore Ravens.

Speaker 5 (01:11:17):
I'm following suit with Clay super.

Speaker 7 (01:11:19):
Bowl whatever winner? What what superwil be on forty No.

Speaker 5 (01:11:24):
Fifty fifty three four? What is that?

Speaker 7 (01:11:29):
L L I V lived Lived was last year, right,
Live was last year, So this has to be l V.

Speaker 6 (01:11:37):
Last year.

Speaker 7 (01:11:38):
Lex, Damn, I agree with you. Fifty fifty, I take
away from the X that was fifty nine.

Speaker 8 (01:11:48):
Sixty.

Speaker 5 (01:11:49):
It's super Bowl, super Bowl, Lex, it could be it's the.

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
Yeah, another one, MVP super Bowl fifty's sixty. It's the
give me the bills, Give me the bills, Bills over Lions.

Speaker 6 (01:12:05):
Ravens over Eagles, Ravens manvers, Ravens over Eagles.

Speaker 5 (01:12:10):
That's exactly I got.

Speaker 10 (01:12:14):
He went on all of us, and I like the
Ravens are none of us did this game because you
know the Chiefs, I mean, don't say that this is
the perfect year for Chiefs.

Speaker 7 (01:12:29):
Go on.

Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
I know last year, perfect year for them to go nuts.

Speaker 5 (01:12:34):
They ain't got it. I don't think they got it.

Speaker 7 (01:12:39):
All those expectations.

Speaker 2 (01:12:41):
But we're gonna be sitting here a year from now
and like the Chiefs, the Super Bowl game, a year from.

Speaker 5 (01:12:46):
All our best. If that happens, they're here again.

Speaker 2 (01:12:49):
They did it again.

Speaker 5 (01:12:50):
That's gonna that's gonna Really, I don't think it's gonna
happen this year.

Speaker 7 (01:12:54):
I was I was hoping to hit my futures player,
milestone plump. I don't even care what you gotta say.
We got an a all right? Hey, hey, Dereck Henry
ten plus rushing touchdowns minus six hundred conservative, Yes, you
could go for twelve plus at minus two seventy, but
I'm gonna go at ten plus. Last time Dereck Henry
didn't hit ten plus rushing touchdowns two thy seventeen years?

(01:13:17):
Makes you think who was blocking for him that year?
You feel me?

Speaker 5 (01:13:19):
Who us man?

Speaker 7 (01:13:22):
What happened? I didn't even know that. That's my bad boy.

Speaker 5 (01:13:27):
Crazy we're having Yeah that minus all right?

Speaker 7 (01:13:30):
Go plus all right?

Speaker 5 (01:13:32):
Aaron Rodgers four thousand plus US three seventy.

Speaker 6 (01:13:35):
I see where you at. I see where you at. Okay,
I see where I didn't know we was doing it
like that though, adding four together, going dumb.

Speaker 5 (01:13:43):
Yeah, I was trying to go dumb. Yeah, dumb.

Speaker 7 (01:13:46):
I'm trying to win a lot of time.

Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
Plays you put together.

Speaker 7 (01:13:49):
And you put it and it adds that, yeah you
don't have.

Speaker 2 (01:13:54):
Yeah, I love it, DK Metcalf Aaron talking about him.
I love it.

Speaker 6 (01:13:59):
Four thousand gibs Mars rushing yards rushing yard thousand plus
rushing yards minus two twenty What do you do last
year he was just shy of that nine to twenty
two or something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:14:12):
Get over the hum Yeah, I got Cee thee lamb
over a thousand, one thousand yards. You get George Pickens.
People thought he was a distraction the Steelers. Listen, you
want to live in the world of distractions, go to
the Cowboys. You got him and CD sitting there, Dak Prescott.
They getting themselves a lot of situations with her behind
a little bit, Dak. Say what you want about him.
Throw us for a billion yards every single year. CD
is always his go to target. You get see the

(01:14:34):
lamb a thousand yards, He's an absolute stud.

Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
I got him.

Speaker 5 (01:14:37):
He never had a thousand yards yet.

Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
See no, no, no, he's at over one thousand. I'm
saying he's a stut. He's going to knocked that part.
He's mister twenty in then, oh yeah, that's a mister.

Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
Aaron Rodgers was three yards away from thirty nine hundred
yards last year, So.

Speaker 5 (01:14:48):
Yeah he got and that was Yeah. Now he's got
some I don't know. Look, I don't know Steelers.

Speaker 7 (01:14:55):
I want to go twelve tell it in, I want
to go twelve plus.

Speaker 1 (01:14:58):
Uh you know what what was that you so you're
I'm sorry. I was trying to get the lady to
go next when you were talking about twenty seventeen.

Speaker 7 (01:15:04):
Twenty seventeen was the last time Derrick Henry did not
score ten touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (01:15:08):
He was he was splitting reps with uh Dion no
Marcle Murray. That was twenty sixteen.

Speaker 3 (01:15:14):
Next year Lewis Dean Lewis actually was twenty eighteen.

Speaker 7 (01:15:19):
No, it was eighteen, twenty seventeen. I look because I
know what he must say. Seventeen the starter was de
Marco Murray. Like when you look at the official it
was de Marco Murray. I'm not sure you know how
that was.

Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
That when DeMarco I think he got hurt. Yeah, Derek Starless,
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:15:34):
Because but Dan Lewis would come in on goal line.

Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
Was when Eddie George came out and was like, Derrick
Henry needs to start.

Speaker 5 (01:15:41):
Yeah, like he because he don't want to do goal
that was going into twenty eighteen.

Speaker 6 (01:15:44):
He wouldn't go on and he went like, he'll run
goal line straight into people's backs, so then they will
put short one uh deon Lewis and he would score
all the touchdowns in on goal line.

Speaker 1 (01:15:56):
Yeah, once Derek became figured out how to be therek
and League, it was over it was overweight.

Speaker 5 (01:16:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:16:02):
I love to sit here and take a bunch of
credit for that.

Speaker 8 (01:16:03):
But so those those four legs together, Derek Henry twelve
plus touchdowns, Jamior Gibbs one thousand yards, Ceedee Lamb one
thousand yards, Aaron Rodgers four thousand yards plus ten twenty four.

Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
I mean that that exactly where you want to be.

Speaker 5 (01:16:17):
That's what you want to be, exactly where fucking plus what.

Speaker 8 (01:16:21):
Plus ten twenty four? Ten dollars to win one hundred
and two dollars.

Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
There, you got put a thousand responsibly.

Speaker 8 (01:16:28):
Over over one thousand to win ten responsibly.

Speaker 1 (01:16:32):
There's no guilty gambling it. However, you gotta feel good
about this. You gotta sit down. You got to look
at your eyes and be like, a lot of opportunity here.
Why not take advantage of Clay?

Speaker 5 (01:16:41):
Why not?

Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
What do you guys play?

Speaker 5 (01:16:43):
No, we're just sorry, we go big guys, head kids.
Yeah no, Maynhill will just have an our.
