you going four and one in week two when you're
still trying to dial in the teams. Who's who in
the zoo, Who's real contenders? Who's faking it till they
making that type of thing? Four and one is big deal.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
I had to bounce back I did the week before
when we were on like the the opening week.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
There was a lot of Week one football that I displayed.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I'm talking. I said, this is the iPad game. I'm
seeing the board as clearly as I ever have. Obviously didn't,
so I did it. Bounce back last week. It's felt good.
And what I'm most surprised about, Oh, we got the
number one guy in college football, the number one guy
going to and three like he's got nothing else going.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
On, Josh, I can't even spell NFL. This is all
I do. This is all I do.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I can't even spell NFL.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Everybody says trust the process. Everybody can say trust the process.
This week's when you find out how much do you
trust your process? Because I'm gonna trust my process. I'm
not changing the thing. I'm actually digging in twelve toes down.
And as I told you, if I had it all
over to do again, would I change my pick from
Missouri to Kansas on a Friday night?

Speaker 5 (03:34):
Yes, I wouldn't publicize it. That's the only thing I
would sec behind closed doors. Yeah, that way, it's best
of both worlds. You win if they lose, and if
they lose, you just tell everyone.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Dude, didn't you watch Friday night lines on Instagram Life?

Speaker 5 (03:46):
I changed my pick.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Unfortunately everyone was watching, including many here, and I appreciate that.

Speaker 5 (03:54):
But then it got blasted out. Then I couldn't hide
from it.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
I had it going on.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I had my phone kind of sitting in the bathroom
and I was changing and then something else. I didn't
even have to hear you make the switch. I felt
it underneath my feet. Ye, something that happened. Yeah, that
you changed the pick and right away I texted you,
but are you sure this is the move here?

Speaker 5 (04:12):
I had that go against me last week.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
And then Kiffin's up ten and the driving and they
give up a mistackle that Kentucky gets down there. Kentucky's
about to run a play with eight seconds to go
down ten and then Kiffen calls the time out and
then someone gets to Mark stoops here cover they kick
a field goal eight seconds ago.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
That was disgusting.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Yes, that was You gotta respect it because I think
it was Chef.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Chef had himself a nice little parlay and all I
needed was the cover and they literally went down. It
was like, hey, we know you gotta respect to Koja
understands the line. We ate gotta respect.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
We do everybody in the comment section. We got to
put our.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Arms around Pat because this is please, this is your life,
Like wellfore the dad drop and we got NFL stuff
going on around the curtobers around the corner. And it'll
be Monday night football and you're watching Monday Night foot
Vikings Bears or in the middle of Buffalo and the Ravens,
and you'll be at halftime and you just check your
timeline and Josh pat sick of mentality back there's a

(05:08):
storm brewing between Vanderbilt and South Carolina.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Getting after it.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah, it's crazy. It also shows you should diversify your
portfolio a little.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
I should like, I've got a family, I've got a wife.
I technically have other things going on. But this is
really this is it. This is the hook in the closet.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
This is what I hang over.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Yeah, talk about respecting the process, understanding the process. Talk
to me about Michigan Oklahoma. Make me feel better.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Well, you've got a chance to redeem yourself.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
You're undefeated in conference, right, yeahs the conference. So you're
tied for first in the Big Ten. Look, everyone's going
to taste their blood. Did any of us predict anyone
to go undefeated this year?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
No?

Speaker 1 (05:48):
I think what appract to everybody to go ten and two?

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Yeah, so at least, well at most you got one
of your losses out of the way early, and so
now clean things up. You learned that you actually do
need to develop an option at receiver. Maybe you played
the best defense you're going.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
To see all year last week.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Maybe maybe we're On the other hand, it could just
be that twenty twenty six is the year for Michigan,
like I said in spring.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah, well, let's say next time I ask a question,
next time I asked a question, let's leave that last
comment out right. Let's just keep ultimate optimism.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Look, you went for one last week. I didn't, So
why are you asking me anything?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Yeah, I would, I would go oh and six or
oh and five to have Michigan at least have a
better game plan because it was it seemed like way
too conservative, Like let's not mess this up for Brice
and let's not kill his confidence.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Josh, Listen, you were at the game, we were streaming
in the stream room, and he's he's laying horizontal horizon
at halftime.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Also, that's lazy boy in Nashville. That's a family owned business,
and I wanted to be like this sulking like the
game's over.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Support local business. Plus one to you. Do you ever
do that thing where you're at a sporting evener, you're
somewhere loud, you're scrolling and you see something that you
probably need the audio for it to fully appreciate, but
you can't hear, so you're just having to settle for
the visual. That was me at the Oklahoma game. I'm scrolling.
I'm scrolling.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
I'm scratting. Know, you guys are streaming.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
I know they're clipping and I see at one point
you're upright and then you're on the ground and you're
laying down, and I know, man, I need audio on this.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Yeah, it was. I'm sure it was entertaining for the public.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
I was.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
I was in hell. Here's the problem and the thing
I love most about Michigan is like the grit. When
they're back, backs are against the wall, they find a
way to fight and they're always like they're never counted out.
This is the first game that I watched. I was like,
what's our identity? Yeah, because I I it just yeah,
I was. I was hurt a little bit.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Two games Saturday, I'm at the early game Iowa State,
the late game, OU.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Michigan love Rockebec. Both of them feel the same way.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Both of them are road team only wins this if
home team finds a way to hand them the game.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
I WOA can't. That's its own thing.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
You think you struggle for offensive identity, IA is its
own universe.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
IOA actually has an identity on offense that they don't
have one. Yeah they don't.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
It's called defensive specialty. That is their offensive identity. And
so I watched that Iowa State didn't give the game away.
Then you go down to OU and you're watching Michigan,
and slowly it starts to unfold, evening starts to present
itself for what it's going to be, and you're like,
I know that this is technically a one score game
right now, Like they got it to a one score
game in the second half. I don't feel like there's
any way Michigan takes this unless it's handed to them.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Right they got they got hit in the mouth and
they just laid down.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Well I think that's the opposite of what they got
hitting them out that it was still a one score game.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Yeah, it's a one score game.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
And there's no feeling throughout the rest of the second
half or even going even going into halftime where you're like,
this seems way like a way a bigger margin than
what we're seeing right now, which at the end of
the day, this is a one score game. I'm not
saying you didn't feel that way on blue side.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
SMU Baylor, that was one score game. That thing's going
like this the entire afternoon. I don't even care if
someone's got a ten point lead, fourteen point lead. I
could look at my scoreboard ten minutes later it's on.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
It's a year.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
I never felt like that game was like.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
That shout out Sherm getting the Baylor win. But I
was heartbroken that SMU missed that field goal.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Tough. That was just very tough.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
I had a nice little we I think we all
had a nice little parlor. Who put that in there?
G And it looks so good too, It looks so good.
I was at the gas station buying way too many
lottery tickets. Didn't win. By the way, I'm still here,
And yeah, it just it was tough.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Did we get in the games?

Speaker 2 (09:19):
We Hey, we got some big ones coming out. Boys,
we want to just preview the games. We're going to
be talking about games we'll be talking about.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
We're talking about Florida at LSU, Vanderbilt outset out South Carolina,
USF two and O versus two ranked teams, versus number
five Miami at Miami. Texts A and M travels up
to Notre Dame after last year they played, and where
are they playing? A and M College College Station that's
a tough one not to remember. And then the game

(09:45):
of the week two classic game of the week is
going to be Georgia at Tennessee. We got a lot
of guys in the background here, some guys who went
to Tennessee wearing Tennessee stuff, one guy that went to
Tennessee is not wearing any Tennessee stuff. And Jeremy Clump,
who's bleeding orange since twenty twenty five. So a lot
of guys, a lot of guys looking at that game.
Hope we don't let him down. But the first game
we're gonna start with is Florida at LSU. Who wants
to take this one?

Speaker 2 (10:06):
I like the wounded animal. I like the wounded animal.
Florida at LSU. You sit there and I'm watching them
versus USF and it's just it's opportunities that they're soiling.
Like the reason that Miami has favored seventeen and a
half against South Florida this weekend is because, like Florida

(10:28):
should have easily won that game last week, easily should
have won that game. They had the quarterback brown tip
my cap to him. They struggle getting him down before
halftime comes when they have an opportunity missed two sacks
on him, and he sets them up for a field
goal goal in the halftime.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
But you have the game in the back.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
It's third, it's third down and they're backed up on
their last drive and Florida gets up pass interference. It's
third and eight in Florida. DJ Lagway drops it in
the bucket. They dropped the ball and they would have
iced the game. Eleven penalties over one hundred yards. Do
you believe are you a Napier guy?

Speaker 5 (11:02):
I like him as a person.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Do you think he's made the right stuff, made of
the right stuff.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
I'm gonna have a whole theory on that. Finish your point.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
If we like Napier, if we think he's made of
the right stuff, which in my opinion, it's like this
staff is celebrating in your face after the game in
the hallway.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
There's enough juice there to be like what we put out.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
On tape was not us all the history, everything's gonna
come in record wise with Florida because if they lose
this game, this is a must win for me for
Napier because of not they want they want him out
of there. But to me, like the the effort was there.
It's just disciplined football. It's spitting on guys uh in
the second halfter, in crucial moments. It's all of these penalties,
all these things. But this team is talented. I'm taking

(11:44):
them against I'm taking him against LSU at Death Valley
because I think it's LSU has.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Their own few issues going on.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Whether listen Nussmart, He's gonna be a stud, but he's
not gonna beat you on the ground, which I felt
like at times. Brown got them out of broken situation.
She's broken plays like with his legs on the ground,
we're not smart. Is not gonna be able to do that.
There's some holes defensively discipline wise, like you go back
to the Clemson game when they're blitzed with guys are
blitzing when they're not supposed to be blitzing. There's open
guys that happen. There's opportunity there. It's just taking advantage

(12:14):
of those opportunities. I got Florida doing it being a
wounded animal going into Death Valley this Saturday night.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
You sound like you watched the Florida USF game. You
should have an ap.

Speaker 5 (12:26):
Voat okay, boy, Wow, you got to vote in the
ap I was going through.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
Taylor is like, hey, did you what he was talking about? How?

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Which I agree with you defense getting surprised when they
end up scoring one of.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
The you're taking points I'm about to have.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
So okay, sorry, but yes, yeah I do. I do.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
And I'm like, I'm like this, this team's fine, Like
the world's burning right now. Florida is fine, but they
just got to block out the noise. They have to
focus on them. They have to take care of their football.
And I like him getting spicy.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
All right, here's the thing, So you asked me, do
I like Napier. If I were to take you down
to Florida, you hung out there for seventy two hours,
you would say, this place feels like it's run the right.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Way, really good people in the building.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
If he laid out his entire program psychology to you,
you'd say, sounds like.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
A winner to me. Like all of those boxes would
get checked.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
No different than if we had a big Thanksgiving coming
up and me and you were to go get all
the ingredients, all the groceries we needed, kitchens fully stocked.
And then Thanksgiving comes and you look around and you say,
who's going to cook, and no one knows how to cook.
That's kind of the way Florida's been. All of the preparation,
all of the systems, all of the processes.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
All that is right.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
It's the same way as it is at Georgia. It's
the same way as it is in Ohio State. The
difference is you do all that stuff to give yourself
an opportunity to win games in the fall.

Speaker 5 (13:41):
That's the entire purpose of it.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
But then when it comes time to win the games
in the fall, the other guys do it. Georgia does it,
Ohio State does it. Florida doesn't do it, which begs
the question, well, what's the point of it all. That's
where the detachment comes a little bit with maybe Billy
Napier in the way he's done things at Florida, because
I can't deny that I fully believe in is like mentality,
but then.

Speaker 5 (14:01):
The execution's not there.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
So history, logic, conventional wisdom would say, they got a
lot of good athletes. When good athletes get challenged, when
they're backs against the wall, when their manhood and their
prides question, and you got to go on the road.
This is normally when you see a team at their best.
So it's one of those classic either production versus potential
type games. So I think there's a lot of potential

(14:24):
Florida has that hasn't shown itself in terms of production yet. Well,
can you either find out this week if that potential
is real or not. It could just be imagined, it
could be lagways not as dynamic as someone like me
thought he was going to be. I thought he'd be
the best quarterback in the conference. So I've been let
down fantastically so far hurt. This should be a game
where line of scrimmage wise Florida has edges both ways

(14:47):
should be but if the potential is just potential, it's
not really potential if it doesn't become production. So my
initial feeling on Monday was yours was this is a
get back game.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
I don't know what eight and a half, yes, seven
and a half points sneakal lye.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
LSU looked like garbage last week. But yet they're coming
off the Clemson game. They know they got the Florida
game on that it's Louisiana Tech. They're favored by thirty
seven and a half. They scored twenty three I think total.
I think LSU is still going to win the game.
I do think Florida is going to cover anything over
a touchdown. I don't think it's going to be a
dogfight of a game. But I just it's not a
WWE event, Like it's not written where automatically make Florida

(15:28):
since they dropped one. This is just when they get back.
That's happened a lot throughout history. But it happens a
lot because maybe a team underachieved relative to what they're
capable of and they're just bouncing back to whatever the
norm should be.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
But if we're wrong.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
About what the norm should have been, or if I'm
wrong about what the norm should have been, then you're
not going to get that this week. And we're going
to be less than a month into the season and
hot seat talk is going to be the number one
topic of conversation. Really, it already is around Florida.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
And it is both teams.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
But where are you going?

Speaker 5 (15:57):
I'm going LSU win Florida cover.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
Okay, so you're taking Florida.

Speaker 5 (16:01):
Yeah, taking Florida.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Line.

Speaker 3 (16:03):
I got a cut wefter Taylor goes. I got a
couple questions for it.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Yeah, I think you look at both teams and how
they played last week. Both teams you could tell we're
playing a big team the next week. The difference between
LSU and Florida is Gary Nussemier goes down on the
first drive, he throws a pick. There's no flint, there's
no like a you know we're in trouble. They just
methodically go down the field over and over again, get
chunks of five and seven. They move forward, they win,
They swore twenty three points, and they just keep it

(16:27):
pushing forward. Florida to me is like it's the same
thing you just said, with all the ingredients, you have
all the talent in the world to be successful in
the SEC. When I look at when this school, who
you know, had to win against a you know, a
Boise State team that we don't really know who they are.
We knew who they were last year, we knew that
they're kind of a name from the past that used
to shake it up and getting that you know that

(16:47):
team range at the top twenty five, But you go
into Florida and it's like it's the swamp. It's DJ Lagway,
Billy and Napier. He had that crazy six week run
last year. But then you get into the third quarter,
and at this point, if you're the fl Litigators, you
know it's a dogfight.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
It is.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
It's six to nine and you just they had it
was like second and eight, they get to third and five. Well,
the situational awareness by the defense, which is on the
coaching staff. You have thirteen guys on the field, two
of them are trotting off while USF is going fast
and due to broken coverage Keishan number ten, whoever that is,
they throw a bomb and they get that. Like that

(17:23):
shows me that even in when you're now fully aware,
you've had halftime to make your adjustments, your team is
still not prepared to be like, hey, we need to
get out of this with a win. We know if
a big game next week, but like this one's not
given to us. USF is better than we thought. You
have a Joe Moore, you know, preseason Joe Moore winning
offensive line who's getting pressure or getting pressure put on

(17:44):
them by four guys of USF. Then you have all
the things go your way. USF misses a kick, you
guys have like two minutes and thirty four seconds on
the clock. When USF has two timeouts, you have a
four minute drill. With a Joe Moore caliber offensive line,
you're unable to take a minute and a half off
the clock, but there's still more than two minutes when

(18:04):
they're punting that ball. Yes there's panties, Yes there's all
those things, but.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
You oh Bo was there, he dropped the third game ball.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
You couple those things together, and then you see the
video of the USF coaching staff walking out and they
are elated as they should be, so excited about what
they just were able to do in Gainesville, Florida. And
you look at the coaching staff in the background that
are wearing the blue and orange, and it's not like
a pissed off like we need to get back. We're
going to be angry all these things. It's the look
of defeat to me, and I will be I'll be

(18:33):
taking LSU minus seven and a half in this game.
You go to death Valley. I'm sure Billion Napier's a
great guy. When I look at situational ball with aliens
that you have, you have all the tools to be successful.
DJ Blackwy supposed to be guy. He wasn't the problem.
I mean, he threw an interception. He rolls out to
the right there and then throws it across back to the
middle of the field. They're in man coverage and this

(18:53):
kid makes a great interception. Like it's not it's like
a little mess up, but for the most part, like
through the ball, he did well. I just think if
you're Florida dealing with what you dealt with last year
going into this year, you lose the USF. It's like,
I think this is when the doubt truly starts to
creeping in the mind. And it might be a full
game for Florida.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
So you were talking about Lagway, like maybe he's could
he not be up to the XP Like if you
watch that game, the ability, like all of it is there.
Like the coaching part is the discipline with the penalties
that third down when USF scored, Like those are things
that those are coaching things that they have to hit home.
But when it comes to making the plays themselves, like.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
They are there.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
If Florida has the athletes, Like again that d line
was they there's miss tackles everywhere.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
There's a big misstackle.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
It was either I think going into halftime where they
get a screen and he takes it all the way,
he takes it all the way down the sideline like
it's misstackles, it's things to where as a player, you're
sitting there and you know, we had this game in
the bag. We mess up, there's gonna be things coaching
wh gonna nail into your head. Penalty guys, you can't
have those penalties. But Lagway look good him on the move,

(20:05):
getting out of a getting out of sticky situations. They
were running the ball well, like I like, I just
I think Florida's gonna bounce back. I don't think the
world is on fire as much as it seems like
on the outside.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Just watching that game, USF did a good job.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
And again I feel like the quarterback, his legs got
him out of some situations where he should be on
the ground. Especially they shouldn't have got gave him that
field goal right before halftime. They had him twice in
the backfield under pressure, but that was gonna be My
question is, if you're watching that game, what makes you
think that like they have the athletes, like, I don't
feel like it was schematics or anything else. It's just

(20:40):
making the plays. And if you feel like that potential
is there and there is that difference of potential in
making those plays. But in my head, it's like as
a player, you're you're sitting there, you're wanting those plays back,
not in like a doubtful can I make these plays.
It's like, I gotta get that motherfucker the ground. I
have to catch this football. I gotta make this play.
I can't be getting a PI When we got them

(21:01):
backed up, the place is rocking, and they get away
with it because you end up tugging on the receiver.
Like to me, those things like you clean those up,
like they can be dangerous, And I like them just
being dangerous because LSU's undefeated and they have a few gaps.
But it's a little different coaching when you're in playing,
when you're undefeated and you're hitting those gaps or hitting
those things you could get better at as a player,

(21:23):
as opposed to, Hey, you just lost the game.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
You shouldn't lose. These glaring mistakes that we made.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
They're hitting me a lot differently because we lost the
game versus hey, we won a couple of games. These
mistakes are there, but you're kind of joking about it
in the meeting room. All I did this, I kind
of slipped here. YadA, YadA, YadA, That's where I feel
like it gets dangerous for this game, for LSU hosting
hosting Florida.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
The two things that you said that give me more
concern about Florida is you talked about players being like,
I've got to make this catch, I've got to make
this block, I've got to make this tackle. When you
don't have the success and there is this narrative around
your head coach and not having your guys prepared to
be successful on utay, the I got two's don't turn
to like optimistic pressure. It turns into pessimistic pressure, like

(22:06):
you start like squeezing the burn in your hand a
little too tight and you're killing that bad boy. When
it looks like when you look at LSU, they're two
toz for the first time since what twenty nineteen, Yes,
it's been a while. Five week ones in a row
they lose. This defense is a little bit different. They've
made big steps years one, two, and three with with
Brian Kelly. There is a certain level of like moxie

(22:28):
and confidence that comes out of LSU that is now
it to Brian Kelly to be like, hey, we have
these guys on the ropes. Let's step on their throats
because if you can get up on Florida in the
first quarter, my brain's telling me that they fold.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
I don't disagree with you. I don't even think it's
competitively they fold. I just think they haven't shown any
reason for me to believe that they'll dig out of
a hole. The other thing about the USF game, for
people who didn't watch it, is sometimes you get beat
because the guy who's favored by or a dog of
seventeen and a half against you, or something like the
plays the game of its life, hair on fire quarterback

(23:03):
does stuff that's otherworldly. This was not that you just
mentioned it, Like ten different opportunities were the game's just
there for Florida and.

Speaker 5 (23:09):
It could have easily been one of those. Man, we
got by in this one, but we better clean it
up next week. We're going down. That's what LSU did
last week.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
See what is failing to be realized about all this
is they're angry at LSU.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
Two.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
You know, LSU Brian Kelly threw his entire staff under
the bus in his press conference last week after a
win Plastic. And the other thing is you said, hey, man,
this defense is a little bit different. Defense is a
lot different. So to go back to your point, Yeah,
you got to clean stuff up. If you're Florida, great,
all right, it sounds good. It's a good headline. You
have to do that on the road against far and

(23:43):
away the best defense you faced all year and maybe
one of the best you'll face all year. And Blake Baker,
unlike last year, actually has the guys to fit his system.
That's why they shut clems him down. That's why even
last week LSU looked terrible offensively. It didn't matter. You
give up seven, it doesn't really matter. I just don't know, like,
can you go on the road find a to score
twenty four? Can you scratch out twenty four points? I
don't know that they can. That's why I'm taking LSU

(24:05):
to win.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
You're taking to win, but you're taking Florida and Colia
to cover.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
You, so you're kind of out of both sides're you're
kind of talking about it like Florida could fold here
and get moped, like can they put up twenty four?
But you're also picking Florida, so it's gonna be somewhat
of a dogfighting that's valley.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
I'm asking them, do they have the competitive confidence to
win a close game.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
I'm not. I'm doubting that they do.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
That's why I'm picking a close game LSU to win,
Florida to cover.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
So I'm kind of splitting that.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
This is one possession, a huge opportunity to for LSU
to like, Hey, if you're going to have that National
Championship killer instinct, like step on somebody's throat when they're down,
this would be the opportunity. Yes, Florida, because Florida is
a good team, There's no doubt about it. I mean,
they have talent, but you can have all the talent
in the world, but if you don't have somebody to
wrangle everybody in and keep them moving forward towards the
goal and understanding situational awareness, then you don't have a

(24:53):
good team like they have.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Florida has to have this one because their schedule is crazy.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Crazy In all year, I was talking about how Florida's
going to be nasty. The only thing, the only downfall
they have is the schedule. No one looked at usfl
was like, man, we want to start off with that one.
It's like, yeah, LSU was at the first one on
their list.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Quick Break.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
Form Energy, we do the work. Back to the episode, we.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Got Vanderbilt at South Carolina. South Carolina game Cocks ranked
eleven in the country. They are favored by four and
a half. The line has moved a little bit. Yeah,
we're favored by five and a half. Now it's four
and a half, kind of going a little bit towards Bandy.
The over under on this game is forty eight and
a half. Boys, how are we seeing the field this week?
This one's this one scares me. I'll tell you why
it scares me because I love JP Humpy, I love JP,

(26:05):
I love the game Cocks, but I also have this
weird little soft spot for just the magic at Vanderbilt.
So I'm nervous. I'm gonna, I'm gonna. I want to
listen to I want to listen to you break this
game down. I want to listen to you break this
game down because I'm torn. I'm torn. I think it's
a close game. There's a there's a safe bet here,
and it's over. No, it's the it's the Josh paid

(26:28):
bulletproof move. Hey, I like South Carolina to win this game,
but I got Vanderbilt covering four and a half gap.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
Though, so not over a touchdown.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
That's the way you make everybody happy. Yeah, it's the
way you make every because if Vanderbilt does get the
upset what they can absolutely absolutely do, it's like, hey,
I told you they cover, they ended up just went
I should have bit the money line. And if they don't,
it's like, hey, JP, you guys really do have a
squad out there. Man should have never gone against you guys.
I knew you're gonna put up more than that, but
I was just blinded by Pavia and Kde.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
Yeah, don't you think. Don't you think this is a
blessing for South Carolina? All the noise they go blow
Virginia Tech out, not not South Carolina. But by the way,
it's week three and these guys already have a common opponent.
They both played Virginia Tech. I don't think we've ever
seen before. So you like this. You gotta love Shane
Biember's gotta love it. He speaks through you like you, guys,

(27:16):
gotta love this. I'm taking Vanderbilt to win the game
out right. I think they're gonna go on over there
and win the game.

Speaker 6 (27:21):
My god, No, listen to me. Thing I've ever seen
you do.

Speaker 5 (27:28):
Listen to me.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Poor JP. He's got a fresh haircut.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
He just got a haircut.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
You.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
I don't want him to leave all the way.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
No, he doesn't have to leave all the Okay, though,
I don't disagree with.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
You, like oh, but are you?

Speaker 1 (27:42):
I don't disagree with you because it's like, yeah, South Carolina,
you have all the aliens in the world in the
office side of the ball, and the defense is a
turnover machine which might walk in their favorite because a
Diego Pavia is going to play hero ball. He's gonna
go out there, he's gonna run around. He himself as
the runner. He is going to neutralize the rushing threat
that they have and Stuart and the rest those guys.
But the offensive line, dude, I mean Josiah Thomas, they

(28:04):
already have so many questions question marks over there. He's hurt.
You see them have a couple of a couple of issues.
Vanderbilt likes to run games. They like to put Blitzer in,
they like to put offensive linement in positions where like,
you have to know what's going to happen pre snap
in order for you to be successful. And you can
have sellers, you can have was it fastol, You can

(28:26):
have neighbors, you can have all this talent in the world.
But if you can't get the said one.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
Name right on our team, people cannot trust you.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
Right now, you're hurt because of pay That's okay, names
and that's on here.

Speaker 5 (28:42):
And it's the person that was duck in the Oklahoma
Michigan smoke geez.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
Once again, like people, people hurt people. And I was
gonna take South Carolina monas fave and a half. I got,
I got a Steve Gravery's the defense making it a
lot of trouble on the offensive line for South Carolina.
And so I'm gonna take Vanderbilt to cover this game,
to cover take money line, JP, I understand what you're

(29:14):
going through right now.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
Jo.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
I've you heard too.

Speaker 5 (29:16):
There's blood on the ground everywhere.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
It's a slaughter.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
Fast yeah, step in that.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
You were talking about it with South Carolina and I
was talking to JP about it yesterday. My big question
mark with South Carolina is I don't fully know what
they are on offense because when you look at the
Virginia Tech game, a lot of it is pre pre
snap stuff. It's not like offensive linemen are getting beat.
They've got free runners coming through the gaps, which it
tells you that there's a lot of miscommunication going on.

(29:45):
Then you look at last week, there's three touchdowns with
a between a pick six and two punt returns, so
it's not like you're seeing them a whole lot offensively.
So that to me, and there's just to me, there's
something about just diego pop, some some magic, some little
magic Dusty has that you can't quite explain what it is,

(30:07):
but he's got that. He's got this wrestling brain, this
wrestler's mentality when he goes and takes the field to
where they make it interesting. And after the game last
week when they beat mop Virginia Tech in the second half,
Cade McConnell. You know last week that was our Kaid
McConnell game. He's facetiming us on the stream and they're
live and they're up in the locker room like they

(30:27):
have the the they just have the fun and the
energy going on. I personally, I'm taking the over.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Listen, you got you gotta stop.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
What we got money line.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
I like the over because again, if that offense comes life,
Vanderbilt is gonna score.

Speaker 5 (30:56):
So that's a scared pick.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
Why is that? It's a little scared pick. But I
don't know what to do. So if I'm like, I
kind of I can't let my emotion.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
Brain conflict. Yeah yeah, yeah, your hard in your brain
is conflicted. You're looking over there at a sweet face
and you're like, man, I do not want to break
his heart.

Speaker 5 (31:14):
Total that's your boy.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
Hey, Bill knows what you're talking. I don't want to
break his heart.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
But also they got Lenora Sellers and they got the
freaks on defense too. That that's a defense that can
chase around Dieco Pavia.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
So that's where I'm like, the South Carolina win this game?
Is it not close?

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Does the Vandy's offense not even get going. But I
love their offense because I love Pavia. I love what
they do, I love the magic. So I'm picking the
bult just to score. I'm picking Leonora's sellers. I'm picking
all of them to score. You give me the over.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Well worries me about your pick is if if it
goes South Carolina's way. I think South Carolina win slash
over is more likely to be correlated if Vandy wins
this game. As much as there is talk about Pavia,
which is for an obvious reason. Have you looked at
how big their offensive line is. Have you looked at
Vandy's offensive line.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
I've seen, Yeah, we got we got Kate McConnell on lock.
We know how big he is everywhere.

Speaker 5 (32:08):
It's not just let it breathe, let it free.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
Let that for a second.

Speaker 4 (32:15):
Off It's not a Vanderbilt offensive line. It's just not
the way Vandy's supposed to look. On the offensive line.

Speaker 5 (32:20):
They look like a legitimate.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
SEC team on the offensive line. They went up to
Virginia Tech and outgained them by three hundred in the
second half last week because they just leaned on them,
which you can say, oh, it's just Virginia Tech. Well,
I mean it was just Virginia Tech when South Carolina
played him too, and they didn't lean on him like that,
they didn't run it up on them like that. So
the history is not always a perfect indication of the future,
and I'm not saying it is. I'm just saying if Vandy,

(32:43):
if Vandy is made to play catch up, it's gonna
be a South Carolina day.

Speaker 5 (32:47):
But if it's back and.

Speaker 4 (32:48):
For one possession or maybe Vandy even gets a little
bit of a lead, they got opportunities to go ten,
play ten, twelve, thirteen, play drive on you, because they
did last week, and it just sucks the air out
of a stadium, no one respect. It's the cockpit more
than me, especially at night night kickoff, night kickoff.

Speaker 5 (33:05):
You know what.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
They went to VTech. Yeah game, They just don't care.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
They just don't care. So I think they're gonna Yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
So I keep saying this could be an undergame if
I'm right. If Vandy wins, I think it's Vandy under.
If South Carolina wins, I think it's more likely to
be South Carolina.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
Over, which begs the question, who do you think is
actually gonna win?

Speaker 7 (33:25):
Yeah, Taylor.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
I respect you boy for your pick.

Speaker 5 (33:27):
Than Will for his.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
That's a quick one.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
That's water off the back for your boy.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
He is just trying to hurt somebody. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I got a job. I'm trying to make some money here,
which you know. You look at forward on the last
week I've been in the lab, I think.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
I'd go under if I had to pick the total
at forty eight and a half, I think I'd go
under if I had to.

Speaker 5 (33:50):
Pick the total.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
You're weirdly starting to talk, but that's what you're talking about,
seeing the board clearly and making money. You don't want
to take a team. You're taking the over, and I are
getting talked in behind you, all right.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
I know, I know I'm seeing the board clear It's like,
are you I didn't saying.

Speaker 6 (34:04):
The board clearly? Which way to go? You're looking for
it out there?

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Hey't nobody saving you out there?

Speaker 5 (34:10):
Believe the exact quote was, I.

Speaker 6 (34:12):
Don't know what to do clearly, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
This could be Hey, for everybody watching, this could be
a game time decision. You're just gonna have to follow
that underscore will confidence game time decisions.

Speaker 5 (34:27):
Don't do it. Don't do it.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
All right, Let's let's get out of JP's head for
a second. Let's get to the next game. Uh memory,
South Florida at Miami. How do we feel will comptent pass?

Speaker 3 (34:43):
No I over?

Speaker 2 (34:45):
But yesterday this is one that was keeping me up.
This is a game that was keeping me up. South
Florida was keeping me up because I was having this
analogy yesterday of you feel like you're at the crabs table.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
Is this when you just get out?

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Is this when you stopped hitting the pass line when
all the energy's there. It's like South Florida's proved this
wrong a couple of times. Now, you were on them
the opening week with.

Speaker 5 (35:06):
Boise, been on two weeks.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Yeah, been on two weeks.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
But you saw the board before everybody else saw the
board in South Florida. You're talking if they had on
Alabama's uniform, this could be the number one team in
the country. Just standing on the table for them, which
I respect and I appreciate. And then I'm sitting there,
I'm like, are we playing crafts or are we playing
hold them where you gotta know when to fold them?
And this is a situation when I think back to

(35:30):
Miami against Notre Dame and Carson Beck, the way he
can sling the rock, the poise that he's showing he
has receivers, that one handed freak, that little number ten
Tyreek Hill running will Na Malachi, And I just think,
I think this is where seventeen and a half gets
covered on South Florida. I think this is where you

(35:51):
got to fold the cars, you got to sell your
stock high with USF and you take Miami to cover
this game because they have the athletes, they have the freaks.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
And yeah, this is a I'm.

Speaker 5 (36:03):
Out, seems a little disrespectful.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
I know it does seem disrespectful, But there's a Again,
we talk about the Florida game. There's a reason if
South Florida was truly about that Magic Vegas would know
it too. This game would be sitting here at seventeen
and a half points for a second week in a row.

Speaker 5 (36:21):
But last week's game was seventeen and a half exactly.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
They're doing it to South Florida again.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
And if you watch that game, Florida had every opportunity
to whoop that team. And you're telling me, if you're
believing in the staff and the person on the players,
in the philosophy.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
With crystal ball in Miami. That's what's gonna happen in
South Florida this week.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
I'm just saying, man, Miami, They've had opportunities to beat
Virginia Tech last year and it took a hil Mary.
They had to go out to cal and come back
from three scores down. This is a team that got
beat by Georgia Tech last year, up by three scores
on Syracuse. Syracuse comes back to beat them, just not
been a team that runs it up on Having said that,
I completely agree with you.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
Miami is gonna win this game and cover. They will
pull away.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
This is the way this is gonna wor cover. I know,
I'm not I really it's the antithesis of last week.

Speaker 5 (37:12):
I mean I was.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
I was telling you, Hey, Florida could get up big
here and then South Florida back door. Is that that's
the way they could cover. Or they could just beat them,
you know, that's another way. It's another way they could cover.
I I was hoping this line would be like eleven.

Speaker 5 (37:24):
That's what I thought it was.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
Yeah, because I was gonna hammer Miami and they opened
it FanDuel. They opened it seventeen seventeen and a half,
and I said, I still think Miami is gonna win
anything under twenty. I would take Miami to cover, but
I'm not actually gonna like bet it as one of
my best bets because I think they did put a
good number on this, and I think there are a
lot of folks are gonna go seventeen and a half

(37:45):
South Florida.

Speaker 5 (37:46):
I think a lot of folks are going to gobble
South Florida up.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
I just think if you look at the history of
college football, all right, there's something called a do down week,
which is obviously just a let down spot anytime after.

Speaker 5 (37:55):
You've had a big game, the double do down.

Speaker 4 (37:58):
That's when I want to bet against an inferior and
talent wise, US is an inferior roster to Miami, and
they've had back to back A to A plus performance
weeks and now they got to go on the road again.
So second leg of a back to back road stretch,
inferior roster, double due down spot. You've got Miami's attention.
You will not sneak up on them because you've got

(38:18):
a number next to your name. It's all the ingredients.
Not to mention Carson Beck, you mentioned him, what Carson
Beck's also comfortable doing is taking exactly what you give him.
He didn't have to hit home run balls. He'll just
dink and dunk you to death. If that's what you
want to give him. I expect that's what South Florida
will give him. They'll look at it. Alex goldishall know,
I'm not going to outroster these dudes. I got deficiencies
both lines of scrimmage compared to them. I've just got

(38:41):
to hope we can umbrella them and then we can
mix something happen in the red zone and.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
Get it between the twenties. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:47):
I just I think Miami's going to find a way
to pull away disrespectfully.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Are you saying that so fast? No, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (38:53):
I mean all the points are making I agree with
I see Miami absolutely covering this. The number next to
the name is what changes the game. I think USF
I was very disrespectful to them about their offensive line
and their defensive line last week against Florida. Obviously I
was wrong in the situation. They played an unproven boys's
eight team. They played an unproven Florida team, and I
think Miami is the most battle tested, like they had

(39:14):
a big game. Catholics versus carn Vic's a classic rivalry reignited,
and Carson Beck is showing that he might have not
been the problem at Georgia. Maybe it was Georgia that
was a problem for Carson back. And so I like
Miami covering this game as well. You talk about the
casino and all that, and it's like I've been in
so many situations where I walk up on a baker
out table and I see that little red line kind
of going down. I'm like, is it gonna break right?

(39:35):
Is it gonna break right? And give me a nice
little lawn chair in the baker out table, and then
I final I go, I put my money in it,
and once you know, and that motherfucker goes player right away.
And so being able to sit back here not making
a quick decision, it's like Miami understands what they're up against.
They're not this is everybody in the schedule with the
USF and never thought to themselves dogfight. Miami gets the

(39:57):
opportunity by seeing the last two games. I mean like
this could be a we're preparing for this game as
if we're playing you know, Alabama or whoever.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Yeah, So I like, Miami, you're not going to sneak
up on them. Yeah, you're not gonna sneak up on Miami.
Because if you're the casual fan, which I was on
South Florida up until I watched that South Florida Florida
game yesterday, If you're the casual fan, you're obviously the
noise is there, the highlight tapes, everything coming out of
South Florida. You talking about how they you know, they

(40:26):
could be ranked a top ten team, you know if
you switch their uniform. Like if you're just listening to
that stuff and you open the fandel app and you
see South Florida plus seventeen and a.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
Half on Miami, you are jumping on that.

Speaker 5 (40:38):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
But having watched that game, it's like, Okay, I can
see why it's they're still at seventeen and a half
point underdogs.

Speaker 5 (40:44):
Let me tell people.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
So, if you're watching right now, if you heard me
make the case from Miami, it sounds like I'm really
convicted in that. You may be thinking, well, why aren't
you just gonna bet it? Like, why aren't you dumping
money on that? Miami's played down to competition too often
under Christaball for me to blindly trust them to pull away.
And also Alex Golish has made a young career at
USF of making these games fourth quarter games. Did it

(41:06):
last week, Obviously, he's done it twice against Bama. They
build their entire program around being competitive in these spots.
Everybody on that roster wants a spot at a bigger program.
One of the trends, by the way the portal era
that we're seeing is you're getting sort of what I
call one off performances from a lot of the G

(41:26):
five roster guys, and that is they know that in
portal season, Miami's going to turn on one or two
tapes for USF kids, the Florida game and the Miami game.
And just like ULM, they know if they play LSU,
if they play Texas, that's the game that a bunch
of P four coaches are going to turn on. They
don't care what you did against comparable opponents because you're

(41:48):
playing G five competition. So because of those reasons, I'm
not just pouring money on this game, but we do
have to pick it. So I do slightly think Miami's
the right side.

Speaker 2 (41:57):
Quick break because we are brought to you by michelob
Ultra superior light beer. The delicious taste of victory deserves
something equally superior. Cheer on your team with Michelobultra at
two point six gentlemen, listen to me, two point six
carbs in ninety five calories. It's a superior smooth taste
worth playing four Micklobultra, the superior light beer. We've got

(42:20):
number sixteen Texas A and M going out to South Bend,
Indiana facing Notre Dame. Ranked in the country. Notre Dame
is favored at six and a half. Right now on FanDuel,
the over under on this game is forty nine and
a half. To me, this feels like a must win
game for Notre Dame.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
You think so, I think so.

Speaker 5 (42:37):
Do you think that there's a world where a ten
and two Notre Dame is left out of the playoff? No,
I agree with you.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
But people show you'd have to show me the rest
of their schedule, because right now you drop to Miami,
you drop to A and m you start off zho
to two, and you rattle off the rest of the
wins again not knowing exactly who's on the schedule. But
you have to pray that teams you end up beating
later in the year are are like highly ranked opponents
or have enough respect for you to get in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
A and M and Miami are the teams they beat you,
but they also be everybody else as well.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
Right, Because what if you got you know, ten in
two Miami, ten and two Texas, A and M. What
if you got a three loss A and M or
Miami team and you see the performance that they put
on Notre Dame in Week one, if they're gonna count that.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
To me, to me, this is truly a must win,
so must win.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
This is an asshole tight the offensive line, what you
thought was gonna be the spots that you're gonna lean
on to win the game. Against Miami, you were leaning
on more CJ. Carr than you were the offensive line
and Jeremiah Love you weren't even giving him touches. You
weren't even give him a whole lot of touches. And
then defensively, Miami stowing it all over you. Your strength
is that secondary in the back end. A and M's

(43:45):
gonna come with a game plan. But this, to me, Freeman,
all those boys, in my opinion, are gonna be ruling.
I think you got this is where you just you
give Jeremiah Love the ball fifty different times, fifty different
ways if you can't and you challenge that offensive line.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
Because CJ.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
Carr, I think he's gonna I think he's gonna be
a good player. I think he's gonna be poised, he's
gonna be in South. Ben to me, you have to
win in the running game because it's gonna open up
everything else. I like Notre Dame in this game. I
also like them to cover against A and M.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
I like what you said about CJ. Carr. When they
started the game against Miami. It seemed like Marcus Freeman
was in a position where it's like, hey, let's get
some high percentage throws out for CJ. Carr. Let's get
him comfortable, and then we'll start utilizing Jeremi Love.

Speaker 3 (44:24):
He was the question mark, right.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
Yeah, Jeremy. I love the aspect of him in the
running game. Never actually ended up coming. I think it's
because Miami and what we're seeing in college now is
when these teams are going out and grabbing a bunch
of guys in the transfer portal, it's like, how fast
can they gel it? Seems to me, based on the
sample size of this year, people are yelling extremely fast.
And then I have the in my brain the last
two minute drill of CJ. Carr getting absolutely trampled by

(44:47):
both of those dns against Miami, and so it's like
ken this offensive line handle Cashus Howell who had three
sacks and three plays just like Miles Garrett had three
sacks and three plays like a and m has like
a squad that, for whatever reason, they put out defense
every single year. Rumors are going around about are they
linebacker you? But I think at end of the day,
it's like you walk away from the Miami game and

(45:08):
you think, if I start the first half or the
way we had the second half game plan adjustments, maybe
we're saying a little bit different about Miami's now one
last team in Notre Dames undefeated because I think CJ.

Speaker 3 (45:18):
Carr is a guy.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
I like Notre Dame. I like Notre Dame at home,
I like Notre Dame covering.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
So we saw your guy Bryce Underwood go on the
road last week sort of his first indoctrination against Brenton
Vennibles didn't go well. We're going to see Joey agilaar
Tennessee this week have to face Kirby smart A.

Speaker 5 (45:35):
CJ.

Speaker 4 (45:35):
Carr has already had that moment you just said it.
He had it against Miami. And then there's a weird
schedule thing with Notre Dame where they played in Miami,
then they had a bye week, so this is only
Notre Dame second game.

Speaker 5 (45:45):
So we've got we got the.

Speaker 4 (45:46):
Wounded animal mode theory, possible must win mode, certainly. I
guarantee you they feel that way. We've got an offensive
line that was embarrassed in Week one, yet should be
the strength of that team. We've got a quarterback that
I really think CJ. Car can be trusted, and they've
got good receiver talent. But it's all gonna be predicated
on the ground game that underachieved. There's just so many things,

(46:08):
kind of like we were talking about with Florida LSU.
There's so many things where because it happened this way
a couple of weeks ago, it really should bounce back.
The table set to bounce back. The one thing that
worries me is kind of like I said with Florida LSU,
I think Notre Dames offensive line should bounce back, but
I also think they may just so happen to be
facing the best two fronts they'll see all year in

(46:30):
their first two games. And so there's a world where
if they don't run the ball effectively on early downs, here,
there's a world where A and M's got guys who
can wreck you as well. And A and M's got
guys who can force turnovers as well. You were minus
two turnovers against Miami in part because of that. But
the beauty of A and M, and the beauty of
playing this game this early in the season is you know,

(46:52):
A and M made it an entire point to formulate
an offensive identity that's pretty much Notre Dames. They got
three tail back, they got an offensive line they think
could be the best in the country. They want a
bowling ball you to death. They trust that Marcel Ree
can stretch the field vertically just one or two times
a game, but enough to where you got to respect
the deep ball. It opens up the box a little bit.
We can move the ball on you as well. It's

(47:14):
so beautiful that these two teams with the same ethos
face each other early in the season. I told myself
before I looked at the line, anything above four I'm
going to take points wise, so they're giving me six
and a half here, so I'm taking Texas A and
M plus six and a half. But I agree with
you it's a must win for Notre Dame because there
is a world, there's a world where the rest of

(47:34):
their schedule does not cooperate. And you're looking and you're saying,
kind of like Indiana last year, where's the quality win? Like,
where's the win they hang their hat on. Now at
that point, you may still say, oh, that Notre Dame
brand will push them over the finish line.

Speaker 5 (47:48):
And that could be right.

Speaker 4 (47:49):
But at this point, if they lose this game, their
fate's not in their own hands anymore.

Speaker 3 (47:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
Yeah, I think from a player perspective too, you lose
a game in a way to where you feel like
you're embarrassed from that game, and you have a bye
week after that, there is such a sense of urgency,
you know, it's like you want to play the game
the next game, be ass fast as possible.

Speaker 3 (48:11):
Take you back to.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
Twenty twelve willy See in Nebraska. We started off the
season two and two. We went into we went into
Ohio State and we got our ass whooped. We got embarrassed.
We were ranked, we held I think it was Braxton
Miller at the time. In the first quarter, it's like,
you couldn't have put up better stats defensively and as
Nebraska was playing.

Speaker 3 (48:32):
But then we get mopped. And that next week we
had a bye week, and.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
The conversation that Bo's coming into the team meeting room
with the urgency that he has, like I got nothing
for you. If you guys want to playing the Big
Ten Championship game, we're gonna have to win out There
are no there are no mishaps, there are no mistakes
that we can make. We got to correct this shit
in this bye week, which it was a hell of
a bye week, one that I never I hope any
player doesn't have to go through, but one that you're

(48:57):
begging to play the next week because you want to
get the taste out of your mouth so badly, because
the world outside of the building it's on fire, everybody's
talking shit on you.

Speaker 3 (49:07):
You want that taste out of your mouth.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
We go on and win the rest of the year,
We go to the Big En Championship, we get mouthed
in the Big Den Championship. However, that feeling as a player.
I feel like Notre Dame is feeling that. I feel
like everybody in that building is aware that if you
guys want to control your destiny and leave it out
of the pickers out there the College Football Committee, Josh
Paid on his paid state show, we have to win

(49:30):
this football game, and I think every player knows that.
I think they'll play with that urgency.

Speaker 3 (49:33):
That's why I love the spot that they're sitting there.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
I hate that they lost the way they did because
I picked them against Miami, but I just feel like
that's what's brewing in South Bend.

Speaker 1 (49:42):
Yeah, just to double down on that. When it comes
to the offensive line, they're having that feeling more than anybody,
because when you put on the gold helmet, it's like
that is your offensive line. You And as a guy
who played at Michigan, who went to Michigan largely because
of a guy named Jake Long, when you're not holding
up the standard in your brain and you go through
a Bible situation, it's like, that is exactly the feeling.
It's like, how do I basically time travel into this

(50:03):
next game so I can just show everybody that they're
wrong about whatever delusion exactly about people saying whatever it is,
Like you could they could be saying maybe Taylor's not
that great, and it's like I have to show everybody
at this moment. And those two tackles are feeling that way.
Joel Quintin, Nelson, Zach Martin, these guys that played there,
and they're like, hey, this is you know, there's a
massive standard that's upheld when you put the gold helmet

(50:25):
on and you're an offensive lineman, like that means a
lot in South entity.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
And fortunately it's not like an Ohio State or one
of these best teams in the country.

Speaker 3 (50:32):
It's it's a It's A and M. And they have
a great they have a good roster, like they.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
Have a great defensive line.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Yeah, the off time, you're like, good, it's a team
coming in that you're just like you're you're worried about
who you're playing against, but also you just you want
this next game so badly because you're so embarrassed about
the performance you put on tape from week one.

Speaker 4 (50:52):
I think this is also where you you really find
out about A and M's defense, because at the end
of last year that's what let him down and Mike Elko,
whoever they played in the bowl game, he just takes
the stage.

Speaker 5 (51:01):
He's as emphatic as you will ever hear him.

Speaker 4 (51:03):
He said, I don't know what we'll do next year,
but if we lose, it will not be because of defense.
And so he just he basically handed the keys to
the offense to Colin Klein and said, do your thing
like I'm with defense. Yeah, and he I think he
took over play calling and so like they think, they
think they're that kind of team that can be aware
of all that go in someone else's building and still
sort of dictate terms to him.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
I'll home like Notre Dames that hell, they're about to
come into your house.

Speaker 5 (51:28):
Recipe is good for Notre Dame.

Speaker 1 (51:30):
I'll go say it last week or not last week.
Yesterday in his press conference, you said there's are two
teams that have this same idea of what they want
to be, and we both believe we are that team.
We're gonna find out when we go up to South
Bend Beautiful and that fires me up? Fires me up?
Is this this is is it time?

Speaker 3 (51:47):
True classic game of the week.

Speaker 1 (51:48):
Do we want to get one of the Tennessee boys
up there just to how they feel about the game.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
This episode is brought to you by True Classic, the
New Curve Temus shirts. They make you look incredible. I
rock the whites. Taylor rocks to blacks. They got him
in a variety of colors. Your boys rocking the pants
right here. I know we're not shouting out the pants.
We're more so shouting out the shirts. But these pants
that I'm rocking. True Classic very flexible, a lot of elasticity.

Speaker 3 (52:14):
It's a five syllable word.

Speaker 2 (52:15):
You can find True Classic at Amazon and Costco, Sam's
Club and Target nationwide, or online at true classic dot com.
Slash busting, look good, feel good, play good. Back to
this episode.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
Listen, Chef Jack.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
If you guys want to walk up and say so,
I don't know if you can give the mic to chef.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
This show will be two hours long. We give the ship,
we give the mike to chef.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
Jack wants chef to have the mic. I don't disagree
with him. I mean, this is number six Georgia and Kneelan,
not number fifteen. Tennessee. Gunna Stockton takes on Joey Agler
Joey Ackler, the savior of Tennessee hypel keeping the culture alive.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
Chef, what do you think in every hang on now,
every Saturday's got games, but only one fits just right.

Speaker 3 (52:57):
This is the true classic Game.

Speaker 2 (52:59):
Of the Week, presented by True Class, which I'm wearing
right now, by the way, uniform uniform, dude, these are
true classic pants.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
I just got my order in.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
And they hey, nice, nice they look look at you
see the stretch, Yeah, that is it is comfortable. And
then you got like the you know, it's kind of
like business casual in the back. The cheeks are popping
a little bit, amazing, very comfort and again it's not
it's not one of those situations where you sit down
and it pulls up because they're tight, like it's got
some great elasticity.

Speaker 5 (53:31):
He fitted in, He fitted in.

Speaker 1 (53:34):
Yes, okay, I've heard it popping.

Speaker 5 (53:36):
Well if you think yes, five yeah, that's five silver. Yeah,
thank you.

Speaker 4 (53:40):
People said it couldn't be done. People, there's a lot
of people peters said it couldn't be done.

Speaker 1 (53:44):
I'm glad you guys got it done. Sick right now, chef, Yes,
how do we feel feeling good?

Speaker 7 (53:51):
It's been eight long years of resting to Georgia, eight horrible,
horrible years.

Speaker 5 (53:58):
Thirteen out of the last fifteen thirteen.

Speaker 7 (53:59):
Out the last fifteen. It's been a little rough run
for Tennessee. We've gotten the monkey off the back when
Saban was there with Bama. We've gotten the monkey offer
back with Florida. Georgia is the last.

Speaker 1 (54:10):
On the list, last last piece of the puzzle.

Speaker 7 (54:13):
I think that this game will come down to can
we beat out man coverage and get a light box?
Kirby smart. I know people were saying, hey, they didn't
look good that last. They do this every year. They
look bad for a little bit. Kirby gets them ready
to go. They're gonna be fired up. The one thing
that gives me a lot of hope is that this
is the first time that we've been really competitive, and

(54:33):
we have them in Knoxville for a big game all
yar year we maybe thought, but by then it's the
end of the year. We know that we're not competitive.
Hypel's first year. Every time we've had to play where
I feel like we have a good team, we have
to go to two Athens at seven o'clock.

Speaker 5 (54:47):
So fired up?

Speaker 4 (54:51):
Thank you, chef. Well, we said, do you want me
to add? You want me to add one ingredient to
the pot?

Speaker 3 (54:56):
Go ahead?

Speaker 4 (54:56):
Okay, I don't want you to read the name. This
text just came. I didn't plan this. This is from
a scout, though. Can you read what that says?

Speaker 2 (55:04):
Felt the need to text this to someone. I don't
think Georgia is a playoff team.

Speaker 4 (55:08):
All right, So streets are talking, the line's talking. This
thing dropped all the way to three and a half.
The thing dropped off a cliff.

Speaker 5 (55:16):
Takes some money.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
At six and a half, seven, seven and a half.

Speaker 1 (55:23):
You hey, what are you thinking?

Speaker 5 (55:24):
All right?

Speaker 4 (55:25):
I've been at this game several times. Several times. I
was at the last two games and Kneeland win, Tennessee
beat Bama. So I've seen them turn a cannot into
a have not. I don't really believe in cannot Tennessee cannot,
cannot can I Tennessee has not beaten Georgia and Kirby.

Speaker 5 (55:40):
Smart in a long time.

Speaker 4 (55:42):
Like they're kids, that are their kids who are about
to grow facial hair, who have not seen Tennessee beat Georgia.
That's okay, that's a nine year old kid. It's like
Danny al Monte, nine year old. But still that kid's
going to grow facial hair. What they haven't been able
to do. They haven't been able to stretch the field.
Tennessee cannot throw the ball down the field on Georgia,
and also haven't been able to run the ball all

(56:02):
that effectively. And that's one of those things where you
kind of say it in your head, all right, well
we couldn't throw the ball deep, we couldn't run the ball. Well,
that's not really a formula you here most of the
time when someone wins, unless they've special teams you and
defensed you to death. Joey's just got to hit one early.
You've got to do some stuff you haven't done to
get the result you haven't gotten. You got to do
some stuff against Kirby that you haven't done. And for

(56:24):
all the talk about how Tennessee hasn't played anyone and
they haven't faced this level of competition, neither has Georgia.
Georgia as a program is very proven. They're very proven.
Kirby I blindly trust him in these spots, and my
default is Georgia in this game. So when I dive in,
I got to find something in Tennessee that talks me
off of Georgia. But Georgia looked bad last week, And

(56:46):
you're right, Georgia's looked bad dozens of times before, and
then you realize, oh, that didn't really mean anything when
you watch them win thirty to ten in their season
opener against quality competition. So I keep waiting for Tennis
to do this. I think they've got a solid shot.
I'm going to the game. I want to be there
if it happens. But there is no bright blinking red

(57:08):
light that just tells me that's the thing that's going
to push Tennessee over the finish line. And until I
see that, my whole philosophy on this game, I don't
have a terribly strong feeling on it. But my philosophy
on the game is if I'm proven wrong, I'm going
to be proven wrong by Kirby Smart not coming through
in a game that he's owned, instead of sitting there

(57:28):
again at the end of the day saying why did
I bet against Kirby Smart?

Speaker 5 (57:32):
So I'm going to take Georgia to win and cover.

Speaker 1 (57:35):
That was a poetic way to take a nine inch
blade and put it right and ship you had to
sit and beautifully just talk about he just went Jen
and j you remember this?

Speaker 5 (57:50):
Do you remember anything about this game last year?

Speaker 3 (57:52):
No?

Speaker 5 (57:53):
All right, it was.

Speaker 4 (57:54):
Maybe it was, but it was maybe the hardest hitting
game I saw all year. Two misnomers about Tennessee is
they can't match physicality.

Speaker 5 (58:01):
That's a lie.

Speaker 4 (58:01):
They absolutely can match physicality, and that they don't for
some reason, people think they don't run the ball, which
is also a lie. The differentiating stat last year was
Carson Beck took this game over and Georgia was an
eleven to one edge on passes of fifteen plus yards.
They don't have Carson Beck anymore, and I think it's
unfair to expect Gunner Stockton to take this game over.

(58:22):
So the big key to me, like where I'll be wrong,
is if Tennessee can hit him. Because Tennessee got up
ten to oh in this game last year. If they
can get up ten oh again, you don't have Carson
Beck to just sling the ball around on you. Like
Carson Beck was very, very maligned last year. This game
was the game of his year. So if you just
keep that same game script, just force the other guy

(58:43):
to play at that caliber, Georgia will turn the ball
over and you can win.

Speaker 5 (58:47):
I just don't know if I trust.

Speaker 1 (58:48):
Do you think that Kirby Smart is kind of keeping
a vanilla playbook because it is the first two games
he played or against. Nobody's in Gunnar Stock and everybody
and their mother on the Georgia Bulldog's website, m Go Blue,
whatever Michigans is, whatever yours was for Nebraska. They're sitting
there and saying like, Hey, this is Kirby Smart one
on one.

Speaker 4 (59:04):
You remember what Matier did last week? Matier ran the ball.
I don't know how many times, like nineteen times.

Speaker 1 (59:10):
This is the third time you brought it up on
the show.

Speaker 4 (59:12):
They have not well, someone had to bring it up. Ye,
Gunner stocked and hadn't run the ball at all. I
think he'll run the ball like ten to fifteen times
in this game. Mike Bobo also gets as ripped to
pieces by his own fan base as any coordinator in America.
Mike Bobo kind of cooked Tim Banks in this game
last year. So yes, I do think there's a lot
they've bottled up. I can make the theory. I could

(59:33):
present the theory Tennessee's getting Georgia at the right time.
You want to get them early before they figure things out.
But also I can make the theory Georgia gets Tennessee
at the right time because they hadn't shown anything offensively yet.

Speaker 3 (59:45):
Really, to me, this is a Kirby Smart league speech game.

Speaker 5 (59:50):
I think with or without the explit is beatt though.

Speaker 2 (59:53):
Without an actually yes, well very much more authentic wall.

Speaker 5 (59:59):
Yeah, it was like.

Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
A truly, that's what I think, because again you look
at you've already you guys capped it off with the
last thirteen out of fifteen. The last three times they've
been to Kneeland, they've covered the spread easily. Kirby Smart
has walked in their living room, not taking his shoes off,
put his feet wherever he wanted to, used anybody's bed.
He has owned Neeland Stadium. And you talk about Gunner Stockton,

(01:00:24):
it's like I'm reading I'm sitting here reading the articles
like in their local media about the receivers talking about
Gunner Stockton. And if you watch them against Austin p
like that game, yeah it was close, like close or
not Georgia asked for a second. But you go out
on the very first opening drive, you turn the ball over.
You fumble the ball on the second drive in the
second half, you fumble the ball again and turn it over,

(01:00:46):
Like this is the you're able to light a match
under everybody's ass if you're Kirby smart, because they, I mean,
George is a good team, and I think this is
gonna be a good coming out party for their wide receiver,
for their wide receiver room. You look at Branch, they
had transfer over from USC.

Speaker 3 (01:01:01):
Former five star. They got a six to four guy,
six y five guy out on the outside. You need.

Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
Gunner Stockton is slinging a lot more because you're right.
You talk about fifteen plus yards past or the over
fifteen yards throwing with Carson Beck last year, seventy three
throws for Gunner Stockton have been nine yards or less.
A lot of them behind the line of scrimmage, a
lot of them underneath. If you're watching these games, routes
are there. He's just got to cut it loose. And
if you listen to the receivers talk about him and

(01:01:27):
coaches talk about him to them, it's just a full hey, bro,
we see you do this in practice all the time.
He's got a hell of an arm. Wide receivers talking
him up highly. He just got to sling the rock.
I think he does that this game. I think the
running game is really good. They have two They have
two good running backs and Fraser and Bowens. I like Georgia, man,
I like Georgia. I like Georgia to cover minus three

(01:01:48):
and a half. Jack loves it, like he maybe maybe
this is exactly what Tennessee wants.

Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
I would love to say gb GB.

Speaker 2 (01:01:57):
I know, I know, but again, if I'm going to
be an un biased media journalist guy up here and
try to call it how I see it, like Georgia
is gonna come and pissed off, because you know, Kirby's
just gonna challenge the piss out of everybody on that
roster for.

Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
That performance with Austin.

Speaker 2 (01:02:11):
B in the goal line stand Austin p had last
week against Georgia.

Speaker 3 (01:02:18):
Is to get your piss hot game.

Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
Yeah, that wide receiver course specifically against the star position
in Tennessee's defense.

Speaker 5 (01:02:26):
I think that's a matchup Georgia likes a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
Yeah, Yeah, Bubbo the offense corder for Georgia. A lot
of people picking him apart because he goes east and
west too much. Right. He likes to do the little
bubble screens and the high percentage throws and let his
athletes be athletes on the perimeter. Listen, I thought you
for surego Tennessee, and I look back at I mean,
I live in Nashville, Tennessee. I look back at what

(01:02:49):
my boys in Orange had to go through. I know
this offseason, Nico wants more money. Nico, you're not that good.
You're at UCLA and you just lost the UNLV Yeah,
he ends up leaving. They do a trade with UCLA.
Joey Aguilar gets a gift, and he walks into Knoxville, Tennessee,
and everybody, every quarterback that's walked into Tennessee since the
great Peyton Manning, everyone's like, we need that back, we

(01:03:10):
want that opportunity back. Joey Agler might be the first
quarterback to walk into Tennessee. And regardless of what happens
this year, people are gonna clap and love him because
he was there and their time of need when Nico
dipped him and walked out the door, went to go
get a carton of some milk and a CARDI cigarettes
and never came back. Then all of a sudden, they
play Syracuse and then I don't even know who you
guys played last week, but like people are starting to

(01:03:31):
look at Joey Agilar and be like, hey, maybe this
guy is actually better for our offense in hypool and
the temple that he wants to go with than Nico is.
Even he can sling it, he can rip it all
the way down the field. You can field volunteer fans
once again in September getting horny about their football season
when all seemed lost in April. You know how else
gets horny?

Speaker 7 (01:03:52):
Me?

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Yeah, and those camp counselors and Friday the thirteenth, the
Georgia Bulldogs are Jason Borhes. What they want to do
is they want to get you into a mud fight.
They want to grab you by the hair well you're
half naked, getting horned up with your with your girl,
and drag you into the water and let those bubbles

(01:04:13):
stop and move on to the next one, one by one,
over and over again for sixteen minutes. That's what Georgia
wants to be. That's what they think they can do
in Knoxville, Tennessee. But you know what happens at the
end of every one of those Fire thirteenth movies. Jason
Bories gets his fucking head cut off, and they and
the camp counselors end up winning that game. I like Tennessee.
I like Tennessee to cover.

Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
I like Tennessee, like Knoxville finally getting over the hump.

Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
They've got two pieces, they got two horse cruxes. Let's
get that third right now. I like Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (01:04:45):
I didn't know where that was going, right.

Speaker 1 (01:04:47):
That's sure you had fun with that one, didn't you.

Speaker 3 (01:04:51):
Yeah, I'm just imagining a nudity and.

Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
Yeah, Fredday the thirteenth is essentially Halloween, but like X rated,
like they like, oh well, we like the thing, say
with Michael Myers, let's make it more gory and more boots. Yeah,
that's essentially thirteenth.

Speaker 5 (01:05:03):
Who knew it would work.

Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
The thing you said about Joey is if the thing
it takes to beat Kirby's the same thing it took
to beat saving precision passing. You got to be able
to hit big plays down the field. There's really no
defending that. If if you can do that, well, there
is defending it. If you can't defend it, then the
whole game opens up and you put thirty five on them,
You put them in a very uncomfortable position in the

(01:05:26):
fourth quarter. If that's why I don't have a strong,
strong feel on the game, because you may be right,
like Agalarm may just be that guy and we never
even knew it, and the hypol system was like a
puzzle piece for him. If just that thing is true,
Tennessee will win the game Saturday. I have to be
proven wrong by seeing that happen against Kirby Smart. That's
the only thing I'm saying. But if it does.

Speaker 3 (01:05:47):
Happen, bulletproof, yeah, bulletroof.

Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
Bulletproof is first policy, Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (01:05:51):
You guys want I'm going to be so happy. I
just got to see it.

Speaker 5 (01:05:54):
That's a goal post in the river moment.

Speaker 1 (01:05:56):
I'll be happy with you standing on arm in arm.

Speaker 3 (01:05:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
To me, it's it comes down to, and you said
it earlier, like you're gonna have to start fast. You're
gonna have to hit big plays downfield because Tennessee wants
to run the ball, just spread it outside and try
to throw it outside the numbers and they try to
out athlete yet to meet. Georgie's got the better line
of scrimmage, they got the better athletes. So it is
Tennessee's just gonna have to make big plays to win
this game. They're not gonna just foundationally beat Georgia. So

(01:06:22):
if I'm sitting there looking at this is three and
a half points. If I'm going Tennessee and I'm just
relying on big plays to happen for Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
Like to me, it's like, that's that's where you gotta
go Georgia. That's why I like Georgia in this game.
One thing.

Speaker 8 (01:06:37):
So what Oh, Georgia is gonna win, So that's what's
gonna happen. But in the off chance Tennessee does win
Vall Nation, this is a call to arms. We are
not rushing the field.

Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
That's a classic.

Speaker 8 (01:06:50):
Not rushing the field. We have grown as a program.
We rushed the field against Alabama last year. We're not
gonna rush the field. It's gonna be a good game.
But man, those Georgia Bulldogs are pretty good.

Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
And so I think they play that actually on the
last psychology, Yeah great, I think you play it thunderstorms places.

Speaker 6 (01:07:08):
Also, Georgia will win this game somehow, win.

Speaker 5 (01:07:13):
If they don't get it done here, they.

Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
Don't get it here.

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
Thank you for your time. I'm Mike Keith, Voice of
the Balls, Smart Weekly Parlay or Dog of the Week?
Which one you want? He clumpy Dog of the week.
Where's my Dog of the Week?

Speaker 5 (01:07:29):
It's a great question.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
I don't see my dogs of the week.

Speaker 6 (01:07:31):
Where's my dog a week?

Speaker 5 (01:07:32):
I know mine?

Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
Where's my dog of the Week? Card?

Speaker 2 (01:07:35):
The Boosting with the Boys parlay If you don't already know,
the Boys have a fifty percent profit boost token available
every college football Saturday. That's a fifty percent boost on
any college football Saturday event. Just open up the FANDOS
sportsbook gap this Saturday and look out for the Boosting
with the Boys profit boost token. Back to the episode,
I think mine's Arizona. Yeah, Mine's Arizona, verus Kansas State.

(01:07:59):
For the reason it's like a one and a half spread.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
I know it didn't come a pick up. I was
laying in bed last night at ten thirty, club hit me.
It kind of sucks that I had to go down
that route. But you're a school that pays a military
school at one point four million dollars to come and
beat your ass. That programs that Averie Johnson loved him
to death. I'm sure he's got a great family life
with this. They love the box between games. But give
me Arizona Tucson, Arizona.

Speaker 4 (01:08:24):
I'm gonna take Oregon State plus twenty three and a
half at Texas Tech. Texas Tech has Game of the
Year next week they play at Utah. That that's two
of the that probably too, the two best teams in
the Big.

Speaker 5 (01:08:36):
Twelve right now.

Speaker 4 (01:08:37):
Everyone knows it's coming up next week. They just got
to get out of this one alive. I think Oregon
State plus twenty three and a half, that's that's my favorite.

Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
How disgusting was Arizona State's zero against Mississippi States.

Speaker 5 (01:08:48):
It was bad. It was bad.

Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
You're not gonna learn from your mistakes. Disgusting.

Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
William I like he forgot. No, no, I didn't forget.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
It's New Mexico Lobos plus fifteen and a half against UCLA.
Ucla is favored by a team by fifteen and a
half points. You go and stomp that down there. Yeah, oh,
I'm stomping that one down. That's my favorite pick of
the will that's your favorite pick of the week. I'll
tell you what, Hey, you saw it? I mean Army
our country. Yeah, last week against Kansas State, we're getting stronger.

Speaker 5 (01:09:17):
We've never been more back than we are right now.

Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
Never been more back my Big twelve team. I picked
k State. They're dead dead. Part of me like I
love your Zon State. It's like, just pick any game
against Kansas State right now.

Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
Yeah, it's like the your whole take on Georgia. You
got to show me before I go anywhere else.

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
Yeah, and it's like.

Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
Kansas You've shown me you suck. And I hate the
fact that it's only one because I mean, you have
But whatever it is, Arizona's winning that game.

Speaker 3 (01:09:43):
Great our parlay, our weekly parlay. I'll start it off.

Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
I like Missouri minus twenty seven and a half against Louisiana.
There's a tough football team. How about Missouri against Kansas
last week?

Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
Josh Pate. Yeah, I'm gonna you should have took Listen.

Speaker 2 (01:09:55):
I had the over in that game and that hit
by like halftime, and then at halftime, I'm watching the
flow of this game, so I just throw in a
live bet. Open up, Fandel throwing a live bet. My
missoo's gonna win this game. It was minus five and
a half in the time hit that one as well.

Speaker 5 (01:10:07):
Yeah, they look good.

Speaker 4 (01:10:08):
So my dog of the week is actually Georgia Tech
beating Clemson outright, because my parlay pick is Oregon State
plus twenty three and a half.

Speaker 3 (01:10:16):
That's what confused me there for sight. That's why I
was kind of staring for a min nice.

Speaker 4 (01:10:19):
I don't want to just skip over that. That's that's
Clemson losing at Georgia Tech. That throws the acc into
a total blender. Everyone's questioning for what, Hey, maybe this
is maybe that happens early in the day. Maybe Clemson
loses and then LSU folks sit there and say, are
we really what we thought we were? That win in
week one in retrospect doesn't look all that great. Then
the line starts moving, people start betting Florida, and Florida loses. Anyway,

(01:10:42):
It's all kind of different ways that can go Saturday.
But I'm gonna take Oregon State in the parlay, same
reasons I said plus twenty three and a half, but
I'm taking I'm taking Georgia Tech as my dog.

Speaker 3 (01:10:51):
You uh, you feel like you've seen that game clearly?

Speaker 5 (01:10:54):
Nope, Nope.

Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
I thought you were gonna say yes, and then I
was gonna say, like, what do you do if you're
clem because you have the roster?

Speaker 5 (01:11:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
Yeah, I don't know what you do you cause you're
one and two at that point. You told yourself after
the LSU game. That's okay, we'll regroup, we'll get ready
for conference play. If you start conference play with a lasso.
By the way, you trailed Troy sixteen zip at home
last week, So you've scored ten points and twenty seven
points in your first two weeks.

Speaker 5 (01:11:23):
You don't know what your identity is. I guarantee you.
Georgia Tech does know what theirs is.

Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
They sat Haines King, who could have played last week,
to get him ready, to probably run him like thirty
times like they did against Colorado. Remember they turned the
ball over three times in the first quarter against Colorado
and still found a way to win convincingly. I just
think I was ready to pick this game in like April.
I was ready to pick Georgia Tech in April. It
just so happens that the lines all the way down

(01:11:48):
to three or three and a half now. So a
lot of other people got on board. But that's okay.
A lot of people can be right. I think a
lot of people are going to be right on this one.

Speaker 7 (01:11:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
I'm sitting here thinking to myself, like, you have the
what the rama noudlek express.

Speaker 5 (01:12:01):
I got them at six and a half early in
the week teams that are going to die.

Speaker 3 (01:12:04):
You should have like just the train station.

Speaker 5 (01:12:07):
You watch Yellowstone the depot. I'm just trying to cut Yes,
I'm trying to come up with.

Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
Ta throw them off the cliff. This team's going to.

Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
I'm trying to think.

Speaker 4 (01:12:20):
You really think Dabbo's legacy is secured. This this running
back room, That's who's going to the depot of desperation.
If you waste this defense in this quarterback, in this
wide receiver room because you couldn't run the ball, that's
a tough look. Maybe there was one in the portal
that we don't believe in it Clemson. Maybe there was
a tailback there. Maybe instead of ah Maud Hardy going
to Missouri, he could have gone to Clemson and changed

(01:12:42):
the entire season.

Speaker 5 (01:12:45):
This is not me mad at you. This is mad
at them for not bending on their portal.

Speaker 3 (01:12:48):
Apros, I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (01:12:49):
I was just about to say, I love the way
you're looking at me right now, because it is it's
like you're looking through me.

Speaker 5 (01:12:54):
It's like Friday the thirteen.

Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
Yeah, sexual, it's analytical, violent, it's violent, but it's one
of slashes.

Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
Of all time. Yeah, that's what it is. Only like
nineteen days. So Spootober by the way for those of
you wondering, and October and Squattober October Beytober Young Oytober.

Speaker 3 (01:13:11):
Is coming up October.

Speaker 5 (01:13:18):
Public.

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):
My weekly parlay is Organ minus twenty seven and a
half versus Northwestern. We saw what they did to Oklahoma
State last week. It's ducks are flying high. Ducks are
flying high in a big way. Love Northwestern Stadium. It's
like playing in a park. They have a phenomenal foliage.
It's small, it's quaint. They don't fill it up a
whole lot. All people want to go to Chicago and
do their entire thing. I think they might have the

(01:13:39):
nicest facilities as far from like a space per square
foot and all of college football.

Speaker 3 (01:13:45):
It's really nice.

Speaker 1 (01:13:46):
But that's not a ball club over there. And to
be honest with you, it's a little disappointed that they
have their brand next to the Big ten logo, which
is the greatest brand right now in college football. So
I got an Oregon's been on a heater now, Peter
More to More, I'm here in the five star That
five star kid is a stud. The five star kids
scores a touchdowns. Another one of the wide receivers dumbing
a cowboy into the end zone. Instead of celebrating his touchdown,

(01:14:09):
he goes and gives her his money and be like,
I fucking love the blocking. Yeah, they're dapping each other
up like Oregon. That pick's looking good and I'm here
in Northwestern too.

Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
The head coach is talking a lot of ship about Lanning,
and that's the worst thing you can do. Yeah, saying
the worst landing seems like a guy that closes the
fridge with his hip.

Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
Really send it, send it out loud. It would be
a shame if Lanning saw this right now it heard it.

Speaker 4 (01:14:33):
Yeah, the stuff about the wife and kids was off
the record, so yeah, wife and kids.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
Which was a crazy shot. A man saying that about
another man is just nuts. I would never but I
guess the Northwestern head coach did like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
Saying you ain't ship. Yeah, do with it what you will,
coach Lanning, Yeah, we will be on. But make sure
you make sure the cameras on the real quick.

Speaker 1 (01:14:57):
Make sure you guys cover were hammering there.

Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
Great show, great show.

Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
Hey, Hey, good luck this weekend boys, especially, hey, good
luck this week Good competition out there, good competition out there.

Speaker 3 (01:15:10):
