He leans over to me and goes, I'm the most
watch dude on this show.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
Listen.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Do you are extremely entertained Toland, No doubt about it.
My favorite thing about you is you're always you. That
is crazy.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Bad year, bad year.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
That's a winning year though for faders, that's a good point.
That's a winning year. You're thirty four and twenty.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
If you come to be entertained by the mule fade
all of his picks, you're up big.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
They I mean, they're not gonna say that because they
know usually I hit.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
You know, no, I usually hit. This year, he's saying
that for a long time.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
This year, just you know, I'm all over the place.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
I would love us to look back in the last
three weeks.
Speaker 6 (03:27):
I didn't say this, I said this year, I haven't
been hitting.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Okay, I would love us, but usually hit.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
I usually hit. I'm listening.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
I would love us to look back at these last
three weeks and see how many times Delaney goes good,
perfect after all three of us in the same game,
and it goes the opposite way, and how many times
it's worked out for him.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Because you just because I'm fifty fifty, it's either go
hit or not.
Speaker 6 (03:48):
So I'm gonna talk shit, but you're not fifty.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
I can't get that necker round.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
I'm talking about fading you guys. But let me let
me tell you this story quick about the Titans before
we get into this.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Weekend.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Just it's quick. So look, I get to the stadium,
I don't have a ticket. Never do go up in there.
Speaker 6 (04:12):
They're like, oh, the lady, I'm hugging people because I
know I ain't got a ticket. So I gotta hug
everybody right to get in this stadium. So I get
in there and they go, oh, but wait, the Titans
front office people looking for you, And I'm like, for
what why. They're like, we don't know, let us let
us rad them in. So they radio the front office person.
This lady come, I don't I've never seen her before.
(04:35):
She takes Oh, my name Nadia.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
You remember Nadia?
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Maybe?
Speaker 5 (04:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:39):
So she goes, uh, do you remember probably yeah? No, No.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
She comes up to me and go, hey, do you
remember me? I watched the show Taylor a good friend
of mine.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
I'm like really, so, I'm like, damn, what do you do?
Speaker 6 (04:59):
She's like, working in front office, you don't remember coming
up there with Taylor. And I'm like, so, I'm like, Taylor,
do you remember Nadia? Like Nadia?
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Nice? Try? Yeah, dude, damn, you almost got me to
you almost got me.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Damn.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
It's like naughty yet I'm thinking and I probably wouldn't
remember anyway, too many shots in the.
Speaker 6 (05:30):
Head, but damn, I thought I was gonna get that
was a good try because you even came in the
shot that this crazy thing happened to.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
I'm ready to hear your story.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
He was.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I didn't think he was gonna say yeah. I remember.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Wait, I think he said maybe.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
I think he did, because if we said no, he
could have got us, right, No, he gotta go who.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
I think he said naughty out loud, and.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I take it the second time he said naughty, I
should have got them.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah. Hey, that's all right, Hey, that's reflective of your record,
you know, the story of the season, Story of the season.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Gifts.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
Yes, I did bring gifts. Listen, boys, As you're well aware,
it was a great day, a great weekend for Southern
California sports teams, all right, starting with the LA Dodgers
back to back World Series. Just an unbelievable game. Hopefully
you watch Game nine. But let's move forward because it was.
Also it was a great Saturday night for the USC Trojans.
They defeated the Nebraska corn Huskers, and I think you
(06:38):
know it was. It was a hard fought match game
and I just want to bring some gifts and some
items just to smooth things over, you know, like no
heart feelings, kind of like when we beat the Wolverines
at home. So first off, I know you guys love
your your black balloons. You released them but I blew
them up, stayed up late last night. My son comes down.
(07:00):
He goes, Dad, some of your balloons deflated. And I said,
I know, son, much like Nebraska's playoff hopes. They just
deflated overnight. And then he goes, well, what are these four?
And I say, well, they're remembrance balloons. You know when
somebody passes away. He goes, well, who died? I go because,
did somebody die?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Ag?
Speaker 5 (07:20):
Yeah, a program did die. So I brought these for
you because I know you love your black balloons. Okay,
just a little little coutremont here. I also brought you this,
this trojan helmet. I was hoping maybe you could just
harness some of that power and just put it on. Root,
just put it on, and I'm going to see the
whole thing. I'm going to have you open a gift here. Okay,
(07:43):
it doesn't fit my big brow, but let's eve it
fits your head?
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Is it? Yeah? Look good? Look good.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
I don't want to find them. The boys put together
a card for you. Thoughts and prayers. Just keep your
head up, kid, that's all I just wanted.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
To let you know right here.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
But yeah, so I just I got you one last gift. Now, listen,
most people call Penn State linebacker you, but we all
know USC is linebacker you. You would have made a
hell of a Trojan. So I'm gonna spoil things. I
got you your number fifty one. Actually it's it's cut already.
Don't worry about it that I think of everything. I
got you your own number fifty one USC Trojan's Compton
(08:26):
because you would have been a great linebacker.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Wow and signed.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
Wait a second, wait, hold up, wait, hold that up.
That's not a fifty one jersey. Who is that?
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Oh? No, oh no, that's not what I ordered.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
So you gotta believe me. I ordered you a fifty
one Compton jersey. Who do they said?
Speaker 3 (09:00):
You gotta.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
This is outrageous. I can't believe.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Why did they go go to fucking Nebraska?
Speaker 5 (09:09):
What? Who go to Nebraska? Ojay, No, I ordered a
fifty one Compton Jersey.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
I'm starting getting nervous about the lady.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Man.
Speaker 7 (09:20):
You know what I was saying though, Right, Yeah, I'm sorry,
we gotta send that back.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
That's not what I ordered. You gotta believe me, guys.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
You're saying this, that's not what I ordered.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Like buddy, I ordered a fifty one, not a signed
nineteen sixty eight heisman O Jay Jersey.
Speaker 8 (09:40):
I wouldn't like you believe me though, Right look, man,
y'all got lucky. Sorry, y'all got lucky. Starting quarterback went down.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
Y'all got lucky. Big win for you guys, our first
black as. Thank you for the gifts.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
You're welcome.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
But y'all you know.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
We should probably start the show though, right, I mean
that was just kind of like threw things all. That's
not what I ordered.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
What will is this close?
Speaker 2 (10:09):
Man?
Speaker 5 (10:10):
You said you were over it though we just met
and you were like, I'm over It's good.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
I was like, oh here comes front running Clay Matthews.
Y'all got lucky. Y'all got lucky with that. That game,
Dylan Rail goes down in the third quarter. We had
that one in the bag. We brought the fight to
you guys. You guys weren't able to travel well.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
I don't want to be negative, Okay, I'm going to
tell you this. That atmosphere looked electric. I will give
you that. So for Esi to overcome that playing on
the road blackout, there's something to be said about that.
And also, you are a better fan of Nebraska than
I am of USC. I just want you to know
that so you can runner or whatever it is. And
(10:46):
you are like, I listened to you, and I say
you are a better fan than I am. But we're
two and zero against boys on the show and we
don't play Central Missouri, so we can't make it three
and all.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
I mean, hartfall game.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
It was hardfull game.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
And enjoy the gifts.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
I'll send that one back ray.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
You got him, you know he doesn't care. Let's get
into the show.
Speaker 5 (11:16):
This was fun, this is great.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
We got to look into some stuff for you, but
go ahead. And we had a guy way in the gallery.
We're gonna get you right.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Who what's up? You said?
Speaker 5 (11:28):
What did you ask Robert gallery? Did you ask if
he went to Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:31):
No, I said, did Nicole go to Nebraska?
Speaker 5 (11:35):
Okay? All right, hey, fool me once?
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Shame?
Speaker 5 (11:38):
I mean, you don't get it for me twice? Can't
get fooled again.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
No, I'm not. I'm not doing a joke right now.
Speaker 5 (11:46):
You start the show with jo that's what you had said. Afterwards.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
I'm still over here.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Yeah, Delaney might be playing five D chess right now. Yeah,
how y'all feel about y'all don't get that.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
I get it now and now I feel the worry
about my brain all right, end of the game.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
Will aside from the games, what DoD y'all think about
trade deadline? Some great chaos out there.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Oh my gosh, the Sauce trade.
Speaker 4 (12:16):
Sauce trade was crazy just because they extended him big yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
Oh I'm sorry for Colts extended them, but no, yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
The Jets paid him big time in the offseason.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Now that trade, Clinton House like, Jets, like, we're getting
this first overall pack. I don't know what they're gonna do.
They got rid of everybody.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Well, he I kind of loved what the Jets did
first round picks next year.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Were like, you're just selling.
Speaker 6 (12:41):
He said, I'm gonna do it the way I want
to do it. So he's gonna start fresh, get the guys.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
He feel like, yeah, if they believe in coach Glinn,
who like I feel like outside looking in, he just
seems like a big culture guy. You have all this
draft capital for young cats to come in, build up
the organization you want to build up like you suck,
like the team is shitty. So they are just selling
away hearts and moving their best players for all this
draft capital.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Yep, I just worry. I get nervous about the draft.
I love like I love the Rams when they were
able to use their draft capital go get guys and
go in the Super Bowl that one year. Like that's
the kind of shit.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
That maybe they'll be in a spot to potentially do
it in a couple of years. Like with draft because again,
again it's like, think of it from a culture standpoint,
you just paid a guy all the money in the
world this past offseason. You're trading because you're not thinking
we need all the draft capital. But there's got to
be something that they weren't aligned on with sauce. You
know what culture wi Aaron Glen being a DC mined
(13:33):
cat in the court. So they're just purely building for
the future.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Well, they moved mostly defensive players, didn't they They.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Got rid of Yeah, Quinn Williams, he went to the Cowboys.
Cowboys still like that's confusing the Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
There you could put whatever you want, or you can
trade for everybody that's not going to happen this year.
It's it's over for you if you're at the Cowboys.
I like the Colt Stooing that though, because if you're
using a first round pick, it's like Culture one of
the few teams in the NFL that you don't look
and be like, Okay, they have a glaring hole here
here here. They're pretty well put together team, regardless of
what happened this past week against the Steelers. So I love
them just getting a tried and true, all pro caliber
(14:10):
corner that you can put by himself. Now your defensive
scheme can get completed just like that overnight. My favorite one,
and I tweeted about it yesterday, but uh is.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
It Rashied Rashid Shaheed, Rashid Shahed Shaheed, that's my favorite
move him going out to Seattle because he's a baller,
bro he's like four, he's fourth in the league in targets,
Like dude plays in the slide. He's going to open
up JSN over top even more. Like their passing attack
(14:42):
just got way better because Shaheed is a baller and
he can.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
Return what they give up.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
One that's not bad.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
I had a question for you too with Sauce him
coming to the Colts. How quickly does a corner you
get integrate into a defense or can you just basically
put out there and be like, hey, run man run
cover two here, Like, is it pretty easy for him
just to go in and play this week and play
a significant amount of snaps.
Speaker 5 (15:08):
I think absolutely. I think when we talk, when you
talk about the blitzes and whatnot, like, yeah, I'll have
to pick that up. But when it comes to whether
it's man two, four, three whatever zone or man coverage
that they're running, like, I feel like he can pick
that up. And they're obviously bringing in him, bringing him
in now to throw him into the fire. They're obviously,
like you had mentioned, Okay, we got our quarterback in
the future, we got our running back, tight end, offensive
line defense, they add him. I think, yeah, I think
(15:30):
he starts. I think he starts this week.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
If there's if there's any positions you can trade run away,
it's like it's it's d line and it's the corner.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
That's what they play.
Speaker 6 (15:38):
The Jags right this week, I think they got the Jaguars.
They got Jaguars this week.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
No Texans, and it's Texans.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Jaguars actually a team we're talking about this week in London.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
London, Oh my god, business.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
Over there.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
Oh yeah, it's that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Though not America and that's all you really need to
be said. Let's get in the games, let's rip, let's
rip it apart. I love the trades. I want to
dive more into it though by Siwther Juice and the
Quinn Williams is crazy. Ravens. They're at the Vikings. JJ
McCarthy boys. JJ McCarthy. Ravens are favored minus four and
a half. Total points in the game is forty seven
and a half. Does anybody want to take this one?
Speaker 4 (16:23):
I'm just I'm taking Ravens. I think they're they're going
to surge and try and take up to the North.
Steelers had a massive win against the Colts Vikings. Like
JJ McCarthy, he showed up in big moments that you
want to see. But a Stilton for whatifty like, I'm
not buying the juice. I can't believe that the Vikings
went into Detroit and beat him. But I'm not gonna
I'm not gonna start. I'm not convinced of the Vikings
(16:44):
because they had like one of their better defensive performances
all year too. I'm just taking the Vikings. I'm taking
their juice. They're in playoff mode. The rest of the
way four and a half points.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
Ravens.
Speaker 5 (16:54):
I'm with you on that. I think you meant to
say you're taking the Ravens. I take the Ravens too here.
I think this is their march to the top of
the Aps. North Steelers did have a huge win. I
did not predict them beating the Colts, but they put them.
The Ravens put the Steelers on notice. They come up
with a big win. But their defense has fallen short
for the majority of this year. But you look at
the last three games. One of those games was against
(17:17):
the Rams, holding the opponents to an average of thirteen
points and three hundred and fifteen yards per game. Their
defense is at least I like to believe based on
those stats, ascending and making that push. Like you had said,
I took the juice. I drank the juice. After that
week one win, Vikings over the Bears and then they
just laid an egg against the Falcons the very next week.
I'm not doing it again this week, So give me
(17:38):
the Ravens. I think it's gonna be a close game.
Give me the Ravens.
Speaker 7 (17:41):
Money line, you can't.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
You gotta go Vikings with the points.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
Then says who so then why wouldn't FanDuel just give me?
You know what I'm saying, like, what do you sind them? Scared?
Speaker 2 (17:56):
You can do it? That's what they said.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
I mean we ran into this a couple of years.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Agoeah, yeah, I used to do Landy be taking money lines.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
You probably winning, you got Yeah, I'm saying you were winning.
Now you're getting bullied into a losing record. It's the
boy's fault.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
There's two, there's there's there's three. You take it was
favored by four and a half. You can take Minnesota
and if they lose by less than four points or
four points.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
Or less, give me Ravens minus four and a half because.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
You think it's gonna be a close game.
Speaker 5 (18:28):
Just no, because I believe I'd rather go down. I'd
rather die on this hill than than the other one.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Okay, yeah, you don't want to jump into the same
problem you ran into week one versus week two.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
Ravens about to win this game by three points, He's
got to be sick.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
He's gonna be sick. Ny are you you going, Ravens?
Speaker 6 (18:49):
Man?
Speaker 3 (18:50):
You know what.
Speaker 5 (18:52):
Checks notes?
Speaker 2 (18:56):
It's tough, man.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
I know the Vikings beat Detroit and you know I
was sitting here thinking about that, what kind of Vikings
team is gonna play against the Ravens.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
But I feel like Detroit played to the Vikings level.
Sometimes that happened.
Speaker 6 (19:07):
When you come in you a high power team, you
also play to the teams level that ain't doing so well.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
So I see the Ravens as.
Speaker 6 (19:14):
A better Vikings team. So I see that this is
gonna be a close game, but I think the Ravens
is gonna come out on top, getting Lamar back healthy,
getting Dereck Henry that ball, and I just think the
Vikings offense is inconsistent. They got a young quarterback that's
gonna be called in the plays if they can put
pressure on them. I just see it's gonna be a
rough day for the Vikings. So yeah, I'm taking I'm
(19:36):
going with the Ravens.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
Man tell us why JJ McCarthy, Michigan's JJ McCarthy is
going to beat the Ravens.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
I got nothing for you on that. I'm more pissed
off that I've sitting here look at you three. I
have the same kind of thought process like Baltimore Ravens.
They're in the playoffs right now. Like when you start
the way they did the first six games, and going
to their bible, it's like, we have to win every
single one. And the Steelers start to teer a little bit.
They lose two in a row, and they come back
and win the Colts. Their defense looks incredible. We're not
talking about them right now. It's like Derrick Henry splinting carriers.
(20:07):
Lamar Jackson has the highest success rate against the blitz
in the entire NFL. Who blitzes the third most of
the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings. And then I go back
to that Week one, Week two where it's like, yeah, jj,
we all kind of get hyped up. He had a
similar stat line. He looked like he understood the game
for four quarters, as opposed to that Bears game where
I was like, this kid's completely lost and had a
wild one eighty in the middle of that third quarter.
(20:30):
I'm still gonna go Baltimore minus four and a half.
But I hate the fact that they're all sitting here
and saying the same thing.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
The way, especially when Delaney goes Ravens.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
Real, this is at Minnesota. They're gonna have the skull
chant going and the giant horn. Do it? Do it?
It's all right, give me, give me Vikings plus four
and a half.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
Yeah, yeah, it dressed me up.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
That means you're gonna win, I hope.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
So I think you got it.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
I don't get better Will, and I.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Just think they're still taking the Ravens. Think about that.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
Yeah, no, I think I think the Ravens are gonna win.
But maybe it's a twenty four twenty one game.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Yeah, it could easily be twenty four twenty one. You
can bet that exact score if you want the Fando
sports book. Are you excited for this? Well? Because Superiors?
What's playing for michelob Ultra?
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Are we five and five right now? When it comes
from playing for an Ultra five and six? I'm down one, Okay,
I'm down one for a mikeel Old Ultra. Will Compton.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Superior bragging right, Superior light beer for for the Ultra.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Let's go, and we're at five hundred.
Speaker 3 (21:55):
This game is stupid, But it came back to the episode.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
Here's a total for you over under thirty eight and
a half. That's what we're looking at with Jaguars going
out to Houston playing the Texans, Texans favorite in this
game one and a half just said with the over under,
is this gonna be a low scoring battle? Maybe a
look at what we just saw with them in the
Denver Broncos.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
They tell me where you heard this line before? Texans
would have won if their starting quarterback didn't get hurt.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
Wow, Maybe if those maybe if CJ. Stroud would just
slide earlier, or maybe if that other team would just
protect their quarterback from those pass rushers, things would be
different and they would have been different. The Texans would
have won if CJ. Stroud was healthy. So I'm gonna
borrow that line from you here. I think the Texans, well,
(22:47):
first off, they did a phenomenal job against the Broncos.
They limited Bo Nicks one hundred and seventy five passing yards,
only got after them well excuse me, only had one sack,
but got after them all game, did a great job
covering in the secondary. I think they're going to feast
against this Jaguars team who has a rash of injuries.
I don't know who's coming back, obviously, Travis Hunter to
ir is Brian Thomas junior playing Devin Lloyd is he?
Speaker 4 (23:08):
They went out too and got Jacobe Myers from the
Raiders which I think a better spot.
Speaker 5 (23:13):
Hell yeah it is, but that's a harder position than
defensive back to come in and make an immediate impact.
I like, Well, here's what I'll say.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
C J.
Speaker 5 (23:22):
Stroud plays, I like the Texans getting this win. This
is at Houston. If Davis Mills plays, I think Jaguars
won another close game. They won the first game seventeen
to ten. Just for a little little reference, So give
me CJ. Stroud's Texans, not Davis Mills Texans.
Speaker 9 (23:43):
Okay, Okay, I'm going with the Texans. I just something
about that defense. I just can't give up on the
Texans right now. Yeah, and you know, I like the Jags,
but I see this being a low score.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
I personally, I kind of love the under here under
thirty eight and a half parlayed with the Texans money
line just to get the one and a half off
the board. But I'm going Texas Texans minus one and
a half. Love the defense, bro uh, Jaguars the way
the way. This This game will come down to the
final drive, and that's where I'm just iffy because the
Texans just haven't gotten it done when it comes down
(24:14):
to it.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
But I'm going Texas here. CJ.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Shroud, Davis Mills, doesn't matter. Give me the Texans minus
one and a half. That defense shows up in a
big way because they're not out of it three or five.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
They've had tough losses.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
It can make it interesting here with the Jags being
five and four, and I just can't.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Quit the Texas right now. Some about wait, some about defense.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
You said you doing taking the Texas.
Speaker 3 (24:36):
I'm going Texas minus one and a half?
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Yeah, well you do you want me to go?
Speaker 3 (24:43):
Do you want to go?
Speaker 2 (24:44):
You can go?
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Okay, I'll go. I believe I believe in the Texans defense.
I don't believe in the quarterback for the Texas. I
think with the CJ. Stroud being touched and protocol that
I don't know what to extrapt from that offense. What
I did see in that game against the Broncos is
their run game. Although like statistically not the best in
the world, they were able to move the change and
take care of the time of possession. Jacksonville's offensive line
(25:05):
early in the year, we're doing a great job protecting
Trevor Lawrence. As the year kind of progressed, kind of
win when they went Overseas, That's when you start to
saw you saw two games in a row of seven
sack games and they haven't really gotten better since then.
I see the Texans defensive line feasting in this game,
absolutely feasting, but I don't the quarterback is part of
(25:25):
the part that scares me. And that's where I look
at this number of thirty and a half and I
think a lot of people look at thirty a half
like that's not a lot. I'm going under thirty eight
and a half in this game. That's my most confident
bet when I look at this this slate right here,
because I think the Jacks are two consist show the
wide receiver position. I think Trevor Lawrence is way too consistent.
He's gonna be running for his life all day. And
(25:46):
so yeah, with Little and Cleveland on the left side
of that line, they've had a couple of tough weeks.
It's gonna it's it's gonna be ugly, it's gonna be boring.
No one's gonna really care about this game, and at
the end, I think we're looking at less than thirty
eight and a half points.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Solid pick.
Speaker 6 (25:58):
That was a good pick because I think it's gonna
be a defensive game. We're talking about the Texans. The
Texans showed signs of being competitive, but again it's a
concern that old line and then them being able to
protect and being disciplined. I just think the Jaguars defense
is getting better week by week.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Man.
Speaker 6 (26:16):
The ability to take away take away, but passes and interceptions. Man,
I'm going Jaguars.
Speaker 5 (26:21):
Fuck that. Hey, I like it though, Texas to five
and one score games this year spread.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Like, when it comes down to it, I just easily
be a field goal game for Jags.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Right at the end.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
I'm taking Jags.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
You think the quarterback too? Just I like that pick
I like that pickle up Rams at forty nine ers,
Rams are favorite. Minus three and a half total points
in that game is fifty and a half points.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Who's taking the West Boys? Who's taking the NFC West?
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Glaringly to me, I know it's Seawks are Rams, But
the Niners are sitting there six and three, like injures
that they've had the coaching job that Matt macday Max played.
Speaker 5 (27:05):
Mac Jones five wins as the backup quarterback, which is
just a testament to Shanahan. But as you mentioned, yeah,
I think it's gonna come. I don't think they can
weather the storm against the seat. This is the Rams
I'm talking about against the Seahawks again. Sorry, I'm talking
about the forty nine yea think weather storm against the
Seahawks in the Rams. And you look at that Rams
team and for whatever reason, they have just been flying
under the raider. I don't know if it was because
(27:27):
of the Dodgers. I don't know if it's just because
of lack of primetime games. But Stafford the last two weeks,
five touchdowns against the Jags, four more against the Saints.
Hookah picks up right where he left off with the
one hundred yards. Sounds like he's good to play this
next week. Kyron Williams rushes for over one hundred yards.
Blake Quorum has over fifty in their defense. You couple
(27:47):
that with a defense that is young.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
You know.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
I know Verse gets all all the praise.
Speaker 6 (27:54):
But oh, buddy, buddy, uh no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (28:02):
Zero or number ten, the third rounder? Oh why am
I blanking? I will come back that he had another sack,
but they called a rough in the passer on him.
I mean it was just like he was getting after
it all day. Really impressed with him. But I think
They're the most well coached and disciplined team that is
(28:23):
just flying under the radar right now. I don't see
and now listen, I believe I bet the Rams to
beat the forty nine ers the first time around. We
all did.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
The goala. I know.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
They gave up. I think Rams defense gave up four
hundred yards. I just don't see that happening again. It's
it's in San Francisco. I don't think that matters. I
just see the Rams continuing to get better, continuing to
stack wins, and the forty nine ers just hanging on.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
Listen.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
Like I said, it's a testament to Shanahan Matt Jones
what they've been able to do. But you know, they
get kittled back. McCaffrey is a dog. But you know
there's a certain point where you just can't overcome all
the injuries, specifically on the defensive side.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
He thought about that two weeks ago. The Giants this
week they looking unbelievable. Mac Jones has been like, I know,
the whole conversation has been about like Purdy and all that,
like who comes when he comes back, who's gonna play?
Like mac Jones is handled the podium correctly. They were
doing it without George Kittle. George Kittle's then come back.
You're off the lines looking a little older, but their
oldest guy, Trent Williams, has looked incredible. I think for
(29:28):
the Rams, this is you're putting on the same tape
from that Thursday night football game a few weeks ago,
and this is a this is a get back game.
I got the Rams minus three in this one. Puka Adams, Stafford,
Korum onward.
Speaker 6 (29:43):
It's tough for me to go against the forty nine ers.
Y'all know how much I love Mac and what he's
been doing right now, you know what I mean. But
that defense and that vulnerability on that defense, I just
think that the Rams is going to exploit that, especially
with the momentum and offensive firepower that they have right
now with Matt Stafford back there controlling that offense and
getting all those guys back, those receivers making plays, the
(30:05):
running backs. You got two doubleheaded running backs back there
getting getting yards.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Man, this is tough.
Speaker 6 (30:10):
I really don't want to go against the forty nine ers,
but I'm gonna have to take these Rams.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Rams.
Speaker 4 (30:17):
But it's gonna be a field goal game. I'll take
the Niners plus three and a half. I feel like
we you know, it's like wins the tide gonna turn
when it catches up to him. It hasn't yet, And
I just I believe that they can cover this game.
I do think the Rams win it. It's gonna come
down field goal, last last drive. They're gonna get out
of there with a win. But I'm taking the Niners
to cover this.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
Game, even with that defensive line getting at the I mean,
we see Mac get up after time getting hit and hit.
But I just think though falling, throwing up, falling, But
I think those is.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
Gonna get after that. Boy.
Speaker 5 (30:53):
Yeah, I just I just think they.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
The best game.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
They still won, trueca.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Bro So we got Rams.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
Yeah, So.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
You put yourself in a good position there will.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Yeah, I got you.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
The Sunday Night football Steelers at Chargers. Chargers are favorite
minus three. Total points in the game is forty five
and a half. Yeah, and Joe's been like in and
out a couple of times. We have a nice little
sample size. When he's not in the game, they're different team.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
They lose.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Justin Herbert is the one of the most hit quarterbacks,
if not the most hit quarterback in all the NFL
and the Steelers defense. When you put on the film
versus the Steelers and the Colts, like, what is the
biggest difference between that defense, besides Jilen Ramsey playing safety,
It's the defensive line. It's high Smith, it's what it's Hayward.
Those guys were getting after a very good Colts offensive
(31:46):
line with Joe old not playing like they the Steelers
have the recipe to be successful like they they showed
against arguably one of the best teams in the NFL
this past week that if you play like this, you
have an opportunity to be contenders in this league. But
they've been so inconsistent. I think they they they see that, Okay,
this is what we can do. High Smith, I thought,
(32:08):
played incredible along with what like both those guys slipping
under brought blocks, getting these tackles to start backing up
a lot, getting in their chest, bringing them back to
the quarterback, the inside that pocket getting condensed like there
was nowhere for Daniel Jones to go. And with Joe
Walt being out Slater's been out the whole entire year
of the leg they're on their like fourth, fifth and
six tackles. It seems like I just, yeah, I see
(32:30):
the Steelers taking this one. It's gonna make the AFC
North look crazy.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Yeah, because it's what about old Peyton Wilson now at
the second level, what about.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Oh yeah, body, that kid was incredible.
Speaker 5 (32:43):
No okay, but I'm just so.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
Ends up in a pack East West ripping around like
the kid can fucking run. And then Ramsey at the
safety position, Dude, like he's out there, these are bubble screens.
He's playing like seven eight yards off the ball and
he is lying in there. He he just seems like
kind of like Derwin James a little bit, where he
can kind of do what he wants in the field,
and he's got he's got a nose for it. I'm
(33:07):
in this position where I don't want to get excited
abot the Steelers because they showed a little bit of
consistency earlier in the year. We all kind of got
on them and then they'd ship the bed. But I
like the way they stand against the Chargers offense.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
I think it's all just by the defense.
Speaker 4 (33:19):
We say it all the time, one hundred and seventy
nine million dollars on that defense. They did show up
last week against a good Colts team. Yeah, I was
calling the Colts overrated not too long ago.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
I do.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
I like the Steelers here just because, like they're leading
the North. But you can't tell me that they're not
hearing all this noise about the Ravens and the doubt
that's kind of creeped in when they dropped a couple
weeks ago going on the road. How almost that in
San Diego going on the road at the Chargers. I'm
taking Aaron Rodgers here with three points, no matter what,
even if they don't get out of this game with
(33:52):
the win, with having three points, it being a close cover.
Like I like the Steelers here. I like him hearing
the noise. I like him embracing the noise and turning
on the tape and showing how well everybody ran around
last week defensively because that's where their big question mark's been.
Because Aaron Rodgers is going to be Aaron Rodgers, I
think as we get closer in the playoff time and
just owning the North, owning the AFC North because everybody's
talking about the Ravens are going to be coming, because
(34:13):
they are going to be coming.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
But I like the Steelers here on the road.
Speaker 5 (34:17):
Yeah, I agree with everything you guys had said. I'm
just curious, did you think there was a possibility for
the Steelers to trade for a wide receiver, because I'm
not say I wasn't, you know, I wasn't surprised that
they didn't, but I would I would have liked to
have seen that because you know what you have on defense,
You've just been it's either feast or famine. And their
two biggest wins of the year against the Patriots and
the Colts eleven takeaways. But on the offensive side, I
(34:39):
guess you know what you are. But they're having trouble
running the ball. Jalen Warn ran for like forty yards
last week. He did score two touchdowns, but a ro's
gonna throw for two hundred to two fifties, not going
to turn it over, give you a touchdown or two.
Super efficient, But I would have liked to have seen
them add another weapon on offense to continue that lead.
In the AFC North.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
They weren't a lot of conversations about trying to get
a receiver there.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
I don't know how serious they were, but yeah, I
like Pittsburgh here. I just hate how up and down
they are on defense. But I think we just have
to understand and perhaps the team does in the defense
understands like, hey, we're only going to go as far
as our defense takes us. And man, I played in
the coliseum when I was with the Rams, and so
far is just an extension of that. These Pittsburgh fans
are going to travel. It's gonna be like a home
(35:22):
game for them, a rod going back to California, and
just like you had said, hearing the noise of how
well Baltimore's doing and just continued to keep that lead
in the AFC North. So I like the Steelers with
this one.
Speaker 4 (35:34):
And as inconsistent as the Steelers defense has been like
going on the road, like the veteran leadership is in
the locker room to where to your point that we're
only going to go as far as the defense as
well as the defense plays like they got the cats
in there, they got the old heads in there to
know that the pressure is on them.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Yeah, Chargers, fuck that going, Chargers.
Speaker 5 (35:56):
Hell, yes, how they're gonna win. Justin Herbert Oxy top five, Hey.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Top five quarterback.
Speaker 5 (36:02):
I would just say, if there's a quarterback who needs
to be in the m v P discussion is justin Herbert.
His numbers are great and everything, but what he does
single handedly for that team. He's leading all quarterbacks in
rush yards because he's some dual threat Lamar Jackson, just
because he's running for his life.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
Out there's stiff farming.
Speaker 6 (36:19):
He trucking, catchy getting up dropping the ball like like
come on now out there, he trucked. He trucked the linebacker,
I mean trucked that boy. And then was like first day,
were you gotting them out?
Speaker 3 (36:32):
In the MVP conversation though.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
So right now I think my short list is down.
It changes everywhere Holmes last week it was, but right
now it's it's between Stafford and Josh Allen and then
that's the first tier.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Josh Allen, Drake May. I know May.
Speaker 5 (36:51):
Last week Drake May. We'll get to that.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
He played well, Sam Donald, Sam Donald.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
It's so many.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Cats thirty six and four.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
I think we're starting to enter that real discussions of
not just whoever's playing hot, and you know how it is.
It's not what you do in the first half of
the season, it's it's how you finished at the middle
of November December ball. So you're right, absolutely, Sam Donald,
so I'll put him on the short list too, But
now I think Herbert, it depends how he finishes. There's
like legit five people who could separate themselves and win
this thing.
Speaker 10 (37:20):
The top six and odds right now is Josh Allen
at plus one fifty, Drake May plus four hundred, Mahomes
at plus four fifty, Stafford at plus five fifty, Sam
Donald a plus twelve hundred, and Justin Herbert plus perfect week.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
That's that's a good all deserve. That's a good list
right there.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
You know it needs to be on that listides besides
his last game. Jonathan Taylor Joe.
Speaker 6 (37:39):
Fla, No, Jonathan jo Why, I know why? Is always
really just quarterbacks.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
That's what it's turned into, man, That's what it's turned to.
Speaker 5 (37:48):
Off oft to play Jonathan Taylor offensive player.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
Jonathan Taylor's potential, I mean it's not dead, but he was.
He was setting up to start getting in that conversation
for real, because last week, before that game where he
didn't score a touchdown, f worse, we had him two
plus in the Barla. He's he was on pace for
thirty touchdowns for a season, which would have been the
record record the.
Speaker 10 (38:07):
Director Rathan Taylor's twelfth right now at plus thirty five
hundred twelve.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
Yeah, a lot's gotta happen.
Speaker 4 (38:14):
Even even eighty dimes was starting to get in the conversation.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Then you throw three picks, it's five.
Speaker 5 (38:19):
How many ars do you have right now?
Speaker 1 (38:21):
One of those pictures on.
Speaker 5 (38:22):
Yeah, he's got to get over two thousand, he's got
to score twenty plus.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Didn't tell two thousand and six he won the MVP
and he only had twenty six touchdowns May twenty six
or twenty eight, I can't remember that. He was shy
John Taylor, he was on pace for thirty Yeah, he
just the running back round.
Speaker 5 (38:41):
We need to bet the boys again.
Speaker 10 (38:43):
Eight hundred ninety five yards with twelve touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
Eight hundred and ninety five yards nine games.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Jesus yeah, loading nah, injury missed the game.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
The way some of these quarterbacks are playing, like statistically,
like if you remove the name, it's the quarterback in Seattle,
it's the quarterback for the Patriots.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
It is who who. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (39:10):
If you remove the names, like basically like said the
quarterback for the Rams, like they're all playing better football.
Speaker 1 (39:18):
He slowed down.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
Yeah, Bakers slowed down. Yeah, Baker slowed down.
Speaker 5 (39:21):
I had to buy. Yeah, he's gonna bounce back.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
This MVP race by after is gonna be those four
you said, you're right. If you take the names away,
you just look at the like the Seattle's quarterback. Yeah, yeah,
Patriots quarterback because Drake Bames quarterback.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
Saying first in the AFC or NFC is most likely
going to It's going to come down to week seventeen,
Week eighteen, whatever it is, as far as who's going
to separate them truly earn those last couple of votes
to win the MVP, I believe. So there's there's no
clear front runner. Like you said, you take away those names,
they're all just there.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
Is a clear front runner. It always gets money. Like
we're it's still Lamar last year with eight more weeks.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
Who you said he was winning in the future did
did we pick one? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (40:04):
I can't even remember Joe Burrow.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
I remember.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
Josh Allen. Yeah, I'm really I mean Joe Burrows.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
Yeah, I said he can still win. He number eight,
He's still in it.
Speaker 5 (40:23):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (40:25):
I don't see how you don't give the m v
P to Drake May when the freaking Patriots win the f.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
With the numbers is putting up and their coaches up
for Coach of the Year is.
Speaker 5 (40:34):
Number one.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
Deserved, Shanahan.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
Those are the Cats right now.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Rabel may pull out on top though.
Speaker 1 (40:45):

do the work? Can I ask you a question? Who
(41:07):
got for the Eagles at Packers? Packers are favorite two
and a half. Total points in the game is forty
four and a half? Get the notes out.
Speaker 6 (41:15):
I'm actually taking it under forty four and okay, I'm
taking that you got.
Speaker 1 (41:19):
A hold of the top seventeen gambler in Nashville.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
Oh yeah, I'm taking it under on this. I got
a great failing.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
I got I got a great failing.
Speaker 5 (41:30):
Don't I don't like your under listen, I think this
Packers loss was It's just a terrible loss, and I
think a lot of that stems from the fact that
they are a very young roster. We saw this earlier.
They show up like Gangbusters against the Lions of Commanders.
They drop on to Cleveland, Okay, twelve o'clock game, they
got a really good defense. They show up against Pittsburgh,
(41:52):
Jordan Love looks like an MVP, and then they dropped
the ball again to the Panthers. I think that falls
on coaching, falls a little bit on Jordan Love.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
Leadership.
Speaker 5 (42:04):
Leadership, I'd like to they need to be able to
manage to it's authentic.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
Yeah you losing, Tucker Craft though.
Speaker 5 (42:11):
Yeah, no, they lose, I agree, but that's only they
got another tight end. What's buddy's name helped me out.
He was drafted before. Yeah, he's gonna have to say Mercedes. Yeah,
but no, I just think like it was a bad
loss for them. I think, I mean, you gotta tip
your hat to Carolina and how they played the game.
(42:32):
Rico Dalla running for one thirty, just churning up clock,
not letting the offense on the field, limiting the Packers
in the red zone to zero and four. Excuse me,
you know the first four trips six points in a
missed field goal. Like they played as great of a
game you could play to play the Packers, it still
was trash. I mean, Bryce Young throup for one hundred yards.
Rico obviously ran incredibly hard. He'll be my bet the
(42:54):
Boys parlay this week. But but what are the Packers
always done after let down? They always get back? And
I think they get back? Is this a Monday? Well, cowboys,
You're right, that was, but they still played well on
offense of Cowboys.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
Listen and trades Jalen Philip.
Speaker 5 (43:18):
Yeah, Eagles didn't even play last week and somehow came
out on top of all these losses, moving up to
the top of the NFC, increasing their distance in the
NFC East. Now they're they're playing for the Yeah, they're
playing for a number one, number two right now, so
they have to be feeling good, especially with some of
these trades. But I just I like the pack I
like that atmosphere at night. I like them getting back.
(43:38):
You know, I think uh Lafloor needs to just hand
the keys over to Love and just let him do
his thing, like they want to run the ball. I
understand that, but they Josh Jacobs has not run for
over one hundred yards this year. He scored in five
consecutive games. Something to think about here. But I just
think you just you just gotta you gotta, you gotta
let Jordan Love do his thing. You know you're taking
(43:59):
the Packers'.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
Revenge game. Yeahs right now?
Speaker 6 (44:05):
You because about the Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:09):
It's different squad though that the Eagles.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
He's been a healthy scratch.
Speaker 5 (44:13):
Yeah, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (44:14):
He's been on because he different though I don't think
he fit in with the Ravens over there.
Speaker 4 (44:20):
But what I'm saying to just like game reps he's
had all year, like he's been a healthy scratch for
a lot of the season and going into the to
the Eagles, not like he's just gonna go off like
just be locking dudes down.
Speaker 6 (44:31):
So yeah, I don't know, we'll see. I just think
playing I think you're playing the pack Oh, I'm taking
under under that's right.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
Yeahs Eagles, they win the bye week. Everybody else in
the NFC is lost going into the bye week. That
it much better. This is Danie Rolofsky under center. Run
game got a whole lot better. They had auditioned by
some tracks with a j Brown A j might see
that and be like, Okay, listen, they could do it
without me. You do a couple of the trades. I
(45:02):
see this team now picking up steam. They're like, it's
not worried about the NFCS, it's the first seed, it's
the second seed. When it comes to the Packers, like
they're put together, they're one of the best rosters in
the entire NFL, and they drop an early one in
the season to the Cleveland Browns, which to me, it's
like no one's ever gonna go undefeated, Like the you're
one of the better teams in the NFL. You do that,
(45:22):
it's like they're gonna have a massive getback versus the Cowboys,
yoding against that horrendous defense. Their offense is what they're
supposed to do, but their defense also allows forty points
put up in them and they end up in a tie,
and it's like, all right, I guess we'll just move
on from that. The Micah Parsons like heat conversation has
kind of slowed down. Then we get to the Panthers,
who just dropped the game like forty to seven or
whatever it was, versus the Bills, who also came up
(45:43):
a buye and I just think at this point it's
like Bryce Young is not giving you that many points.
I don't understand, Like how from a leadership standpoint or
coaching standpoint, like you have so many dogs, how are
you not able to like recognize the mistake you made
earlier in the season. And I think the Eagles, this,
this bioey come couldn't come a better time. They started
(46:04):
to figure it out offensively, especially being under center. The
offensive line played much better last week. The addition, like
Jordan Love, when he is not pressured, he's like a
top five quarterback in every statistic. When he is pressured,
he's a bottom five quarterback. So I think adding Phillips
is a key. Having a week in a bye to rest,
getting the offensive line to play more consistently, being under center,
(46:26):
all of those things equal.
Speaker 5 (46:28):
I got the Eagles and Tiger kraft Y.
Speaker 4 (46:31):
You trust through the body of work throughout the year.
You trust the Eagles offense more than you do the
Packers offense.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
Definitely, I would say I would trust the team more
than I trust But yeah, but I think that's too
much of us. Like the sample size itself, It's like, well,
advance would be no. But if I look at the
entire team and how like they don't really care about
your feelings, They just keep winning. That's the Eagles, and
they had their fumble against the Giants. The Package it's
like the whole Fuomi once thing, Like you lost a
(47:00):
really bad Cleveland Browns team that was already dubbed one
of the worst teams in the NFL other than their defense.
Then you go, dude against the Panthers team who's not
much better than the Browns from a whole team getting
a whole week to sit rest, figure out some of
these therapy sessions watching everybody else in the NFC East
lose while you get to sit there while looking at
your offense to be like, look at the step we
(47:20):
took from a passing standpoint in the last two weeks
run game, in the last game we played under center.
I just think I feel much more confident about looking
at the Eagles and the defending the national defending super
Bowl champs, and I do it this Package team. It's like,
you guys are great, vote you need to do it consistently.
That's That's what I said.
Speaker 4 (47:40):
I like it all right, Let's get to the true
classic game of the Week. Every Sunday's got games, but
only one fits just right. This is the True Classic
Game of the Week, brought to us by you know who.
True Classic, the new curve PEMA shirts. Snug your arms, tight,
your chest just right, and your belly gets covered up.
You can find True Classic at Amazon and Costco, Sam's
Club and Target nation wide, or online at True Classic
(48:01):
dot com. Slash busting, Look good, Feel good, Play good.
This week's Game of the Week is a New England
Patriots traveling down to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bucks favored
two and a half in this game. The over under
is forty eight and a half. Drake may continues to
elevate his MVP run. He had an off half second
half last week, had an incredible first half. I think
(48:22):
thank you th for three touchdowns, so he was right
around two hundred fifty yards in the first half. I'm
taking them to cover against or I'm taking them to
beat upset. I'm taking Patriots money line. Patriots money line
against the Buccaneers.
Speaker 6 (48:35):
Woo.
Speaker 5 (48:36):
I like the Bucks. I like Baker Mayfield. They're coming
off a bye week. We will see if Godwin comes
back and Bucky Irvin. But yes, Drake May looked incredible
in that first half once that Sat caused fumble right
before the at the end of the first half, he
kind of looked a little, you know, like he had
happy feet in the pocket. I don't know what that means,
but I think losing kay Sean Boody he's got a
(48:59):
hand shing injury. Doesn't sound like he's gonna play like
who's gonna step up at that wide receiver position and
kind of fill that void. I I just see the
Bucks with too much firepower coming off of bye week.
The Mecca Bukah is just Tess Johnson's really stepped up,
like I just and their defense to the last. They've
held their last three opponents to fifteen points per game.
(49:20):
So it's not like it's just Bakers had to carry.
This team has had to carry the load for for
some time now with all these injuries. But I like, uh,
I like the Bucks here, give me the Bucks to
cover to that. Yeah, yeah, two and a half.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
That was that was everything he said was good. It
was great, man, But those Patriots.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
Hey tell him matter, Booty shooting doesn't matter.
Speaker 5 (49:50):
Off the street, brother, they should have lost to the Falcons.
What type of culture is that the.
Speaker 1 (49:55):
Falcons are the most are the greatest team in the world. Yeah,
maybe there will the world. The Patris happened to be better.
Speaker 6 (50:02):
You never know what you're gonna get with the Falcons
any day they show up, they may not. But the
Patriots and that Rabel culture, man, it's just he's the
type of coach you sell out for. You know, he
can be an asshole, love that, but he he makes
sometimes hate.
Speaker 4 (50:21):
That, huh, I love it, Yeah, I love it sometimes
hate yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (50:27):
But he know how to get guys fired up.
Speaker 6 (50:29):
I don't know what it is about Rabel and getting
guys to go out there and give it all he got,
even if it's a guy he just got off the
street that week and put him in the lineup, and
that dude go out there and make plays, and so
he's able to go be on another team just because
Rabel inspired him to be great, and he's inspiring me
right now.
Speaker 5 (50:46):
Well, listen, Brabo's not going to be out there playing
for him. But you know, if Falcons might not show
up every week, but you know who does. Baker Mayfield?
He for like four hundred he does. Hey, well, the Patriots, I'm.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
Just trying to trick man.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
Does he is?
Speaker 2 (51:02):
They're both pretty They both pretty.
Speaker 5 (51:04):
Good, dude.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
I love the Patriots. I love the story of their season.
They like they kind of started started off shaking. They've
won what six in row?
Speaker 5 (51:11):
Now, yeah, it's six and row.
Speaker 1 (51:12):
They won and they yeah, they kind of get away
with one against the Falcons, it goes, it doesn't go
their way in the second half. They're still enough being
able to pull it out. I love Drake May. I
love his attitude. People are talking about MVP race when
they're sitting there with the postgame press conference and everyone's like,
everyone talking about MVP, their chant MVP, and He's like,
I'm just excited that our fans are excited. Like he
is handling the noise correctly. That team is hitting the noise.
(51:34):
The culture of that team is absolutely incredible. It's November, yes,
weather's broke New England. It's a little frigid out there
in the morning. I sit there with the defroster on
a little bit because it's like thirty five in that thing, right,
you go down to Tampa, those are the worst games.
Kind of shocks your system.
Speaker 3 (51:53):
A little bit.
Speaker 1 (51:54):
I can't really breathe out here, Baker Mayfield is playing incredible.
He's had all the using the world and one thing
that said the same is he's a fucking gamer. He
goes in the Houston game, gets hurt on a run,
guy's standing over him, not for him. He stands his
little lass up, dude, so it's getting his chest. They're
getting a little healthier. They're coming off of buy the
last three games. I do hold in the fifth the
(52:15):
oppost fifteen points. I like the Buccaneers minus two and
a half here. I like them, and it's not taking
anything with from the Patriots. I just don't think you're
going to win the rest of them, right, And this
is one of those games I think is a perfect
game for them to drop. It's you know, they're they're
playing away. You got Baker Mayfield, You've got that defense
a little shaking in the second half of their last game,
(52:37):
like they're playing awesome football. We're gonna get down and
we're not gonna know who the winner of the AFC
East is till I think they play like January fourth,
as the Bills and the Patriots. I think that is
going to be the decider of that of this that division.
But I think he got to drop one, and I
think this is that one. So I'll take the Bucks
mins two and a half.
Speaker 4 (52:59):
But the boys part, yeah, bet the boys part. Oh
you already went, yeah, I'm taking I went Patriots one line.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
Oh yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (53:05):
And the whole weather.
Speaker 4 (53:06):
Thing that kind of got me second guess too, start saying,
but you know what, we did it with Rabel.
Speaker 6 (53:11):
We went out there and smackcats in Tampa, Florida.
Speaker 3 (53:15):
You know what.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
Everyone always says. Everyone always says the northeast and Nashville,
Tennessee same exac quiet. Yeah, you're absolutely.
Speaker 5 (53:22):
Right, brother, I'm telling you. When you go from Green Bay, Wisconsin,
or even Tennessee for that matter, and it was like
seventeen degrees and you go playing seventy guys begetting ivs
at halftime, falling out of the game, people think, oh,
it's going to be great. You're going in this warm weather.
It's the worst I'd rather go. I'd rather be Tampa
going to play up in New England. Yeah, because whatever
you just you put some you can't take. You got no.
Speaker 6 (53:45):
We was the ivy, me and him, We in line
ivy before the IVY at hilftime, we in line a
pumped that ship fast.
Speaker 1 (53:54):
Looking puffy after that scene in our body a little
balloon violet, you're turning violet. But the boy's probably Jaalen Hurts.
Who was the number one team that wanted to band
the touch push.
Speaker 2 (54:06):
That was the Green Bay Packer.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
It's probably going to get banned. However, they're gonna get
their ass one more time.
Speaker 5 (54:12):
I mean, how Delaney, how poor is the officiating lately? Bro?
They need to call us now. I mean that touch
push where who was it? Burns Ordeah, he took the
ball away.
Speaker 2 (54:23):
Just crazy, crazy, horrible.
Speaker 5 (54:25):
But you think they're gonna run at nausey, They're gonna
run ten plus time.
Speaker 4 (54:29):
Let's break the records the game where they ran five.
Speaker 5 (54:32):
I think they're looking forward to run it.
Speaker 2 (54:35):
Hey, but you gotta look at it.
Speaker 6 (54:36):
When they do the touch push, they have to move
those those judges. So the judges that's usually sitting over
the linebacker in the middle of he's not there anymore.
And then the back judge he got it be too
far back because it's a push play, so they can't
see anything. So we depending on the line judge that's
sitting all the way on the edge to give us
off side.
Speaker 2 (54:56):
They can't call it. It's like it's bang bang.
Speaker 5 (54:58):
Why New York, New York, I'm saying, and I know
I know their own discretion. All right, Sorry we got
off topic. Yeah, he hates tough football. I I hate
poor fishes.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
Silver Spoon is a kid guy.
Speaker 5 (55:12):
You know, I went all the way to easy past guy,
guy who's never mowed his grass before talking about silver Spoon.
Speaker 1 (55:21):
Arizona, kid, Arizona.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
Who you got.
Speaker 6 (55:26):
I'm going Gibbs, man, I'm going Gibbs. And they planning
against the Commanders, that's for sure. Come on, Gibbs, give
it to me.
Speaker 2 (55:32):
Baby.
Speaker 4 (55:33):
Kimani v Doll the mayor of New York, right, something
like that to touchdown the Steelers.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
That yeah, Muslims.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
Similar, that's crazy. I'm like, okay, think they sound kind.
Speaker 2 (55:55):
Of What did you say, Mitch Hank, Aaron's great nephew. Yep,
you don't.
Speaker 3 (56:01):
Run on TV each towns. We're scoring him this weekend.
Speaker 5 (56:04):
Big Hits.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
Oh buddy is is a beast too.
Speaker 4 (56:08):
Yeah, he stepped in nice. He had a rough game
last week. But you know this will get back. This
will get back. Just to get in the inen zone.
We need you in the zone.
Speaker 3 (56:14):
I still need Pittsburgh to cover.
Speaker 2 (56:16):
That's it.
Speaker 5 (56:16):
Give me, give me Rico dawdle versus Saints. He he's
a man Alice. Finally, you know what's the word when
you move someone back? You were asking about this relegated.
He moved to be Hubbard back. Rico is getting the
rock now he's RB one hot hands.
Speaker 2 (56:34):
Where's Rico from? Is he?
Speaker 3 (56:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (56:39):
Yeah, dope, I don't care because I'll just mess.
Speaker 1 (56:51):
Raised from Are you just you're on a show. You're
just gonna ask that, like, because the reason I thought.
Speaker 2 (56:55):
He came up the street.
Speaker 5 (56:57):
Was with Dallas, right, Yeah, he was in Dallas. He
had like a thousand yard Uh he played well. I
think he was right under a thousand yards there.
Speaker 2 (57:06):
But where was Dallas? That's what?
Speaker 11 (57:09):
Yeah, Carolina, it always comes back to the game. Good win,
ric O'dowdell, Camanie Vidal, Jamier Gibbs, and Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 4 (57:25):
Anytime touchdowns that you bet the boys parlay. Let's win
this week.
Speaker 1 (57:29):

just business. You lose Camp Scataboo, you lose Jaden Daniels,
you lose to the Cardinals, it's over.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
Andrews crazy.
Speaker 1 (59:01):
Anybody else have a hot take out here?
Speaker 2 (59:02):
I considered a hot take.
Speaker 5 (59:04):
Hm hmm.
Speaker 3 (59:05):
It doesn't have to be hot. Something to think about
while you're dipping in that.
Speaker 4 (59:07):
Buffalo zesty sauce, buffo sauce. Underdog Steelers, I'm gonna say
they're gonna get a win. Steelers remain at the top
of the North with that, and it starts divvying up the
conversation that the Ravens are gonna come back in the fold.
Speaker 3 (59:21):
Steelers go out to l a upset the Chargers USC.
Speaker 5 (59:26):
Who they got Northwestern Western? Well, I think they play Oregon,
so let's be realistic here. They I think they win
the remainder of their games. Sam's organ So three losses.
I don't know where that puts them in the Big ten,
probably not playing, maybe in that large bid in the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (59:43):
So you're saying, something to chew on USC getting out
of us, getting knocked out of the playoffs.
Speaker 5 (59:47):
No, no, something to chew on, possibly a twelve seed
you beat.
Speaker 3 (59:53):
You're saying as a three loss team, you lose three games.
Speaker 7 (59:56):
Like you just it's like name brand. You know what
I'm saying, Like they don't you know what I'm saying.
I'll just do you know what I'm saying. This is
McDonald I know this is McDonald's. Will take double cheeseburger,
no pickles, add back sauce.
