Speaker 5 (00:27):
Yeah, because back back in April we started out as
back of the bus and then.
Speaker 6 (00:32):
We missed a week or two. So it's been five months. Yeah, yeah,
what's been read. We're like, we're like in the game,
like you know, what's.

Show today, boys show, we got a lot to talk about.
Five fake jerseys. Back in the day, I used.
Speaker 7 (01:04):
To buy express on the Express.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yeah mm hmm, you heard that one too.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
So last week we were talking about Jared and he's
starting on his comedy side quest. He actually had his
first challenge in his side quest, m Jared.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
People also in the comments. I don't know if y'all
read them, they like side questiques read do they do?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Want to see content from each shide quest?
Speaker 1 (01:32):
I saw someone saying they want Coop to stream.
Speaker 5 (01:33):
And he said ultiple people They said that they would
tap in so Coop. Yeah, you got an audience out there.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Scharch dreaming. Did you really time to have to? You will?
He always does it. I might start streaming load of
show side yo, uh how to go? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Sorry, it went good. I told all them a little
bit about it. But it's like you go in, you
sign up, there's twenty five spots.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
It's the place in the East correct.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yes, it's called the East Room and NAT in Nashville,
in East Nashville.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah, it is really confusing on how to get it.
But honestly, the room is so cool, like the employees
are cool. I was an idiot. I think I might
have the times messed up, but basically sign up to
at like seven to eight. So I show up like
six fifty five, like waiting for them to open it,
and the guy it's me and like one other guy
that he's like, that's my first time. Like we're both
like eager, and then we get in there. No one's
in there obviously like they're opening and then I asked
(02:34):
the guy's like just like kind of like giving us
advice and stuff, and I was like, we don't have
to show up this early due He's like everyone shows
up like seven fifty five. He's like, because you sign up,
you put it in a bucket. Then I like how
they do it though, They pull the bucket on stage
so they you know that like no one's just getting
up because of like they're good basically yeah, So they
pull it out of the bucket and read it on stage,
and then you go up there in the order that
(02:55):
you get pulled and pick where you want to be
on the lineup. So I pick like third to last.
I was like, I want to be, yeah, I want
to be to get picked.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Though, uh like middle of the pack ish.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
And I put myself at the bottom of the because
I wanted to be like when they said my name,
I wish I wish this would have been so cringe,
like to record it or like y'all to have been
there just to see me get picked, because I was
like shit, I was like no, And then of course
the immediate like should I just leave, Like no one
will ever know if I left, literally, and then they
all look around because everyone's like if he's not getting up,
(03:26):
I want to get up, because everyone's just everyone wanting
to get It's only comedians in there, so I went up.
By the time I went on, the room was I mean,
like ten people or less were in there, which is
kind of cool. They weren't comedians. There's only like two
more comedians in there because the host Evehn was like,
who's still in here, like because it's like ten thirty
on a Tuesday night and they're like, oh, we're just
here like to watch comedy, and I was like, that's
kind of nice.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
It was like these two these two girls right here,
like a couple of guys.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
There's one guy in his sixties that was in the back,
and uh, it went yeah he was he Actually he
did go.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Up at the end of the night, so I guess
he was a comedian. But I'm bouncing all over the place.
Speaker 7 (03:59):
Was that the karaoke guy.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
Yes, I forgot. I told you about that. This guy
I forgot if he went up before after me. But
like end of the night when it's empty, the host
was pretty annoyed that, like we were even still there,
Like he was nice about it, but he's like like,
let's go, and this old guy goes up there, and
like you get four minutes and he's like, uh. He
tried like two jokes that were so like everyone in
the room was like less than thirty, like probably like
(04:22):
twenty five or less, and he made a joke about
like a show in like the seventies or something, and
everyone's like and he's like, y'all don't know that DoD
y'all And then we're all like no, and there's a
band behind you, and he's like fuck it, like I'm
just gonna do karaoke, y'all know, uh like this song
and the band's like yeah, he's like fucking let's play
it for the next three minutes. And he just sang
for three minutes like awfully, but it was hilarious, like
(04:43):
we were all in there like clapping, like I don't remember.
It was some old ass song that I didn't even know,
but it was so funny and he's did and girl,
I wish it was it was some like operash opera.
It was like it was some song you couldn't sing
along too. But uh it went good. It was Uh
(05:04):
it went better than I thought it would. I told
you all the biggest pop which is like in that room,
it's like getting a like like was like you're crushing
in there. And I got from a couple of people
just when I like one of my opening things, just
like I work for this podcas because the bit is
about Will and Taylor and like when I mentioned bust
and I'm like they never heard of that, and like
no one had, and I was just like, that's like
(05:26):
the Pope dessert. Like it was like in the moment,
everyone's like yeah, like we all like everyone's like late
in the night.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
That was good.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
When I I made a Minecraft joke, as you guys know,
fucking big minecrafter, big weekend ahead of Minecraft.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
We'll get into that later, but uh that got to laugh.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
When I said something about Minecraft, the band guy laughed
and I literally turned around.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I was like, I was like you like that, that
was funny. I was like, let's go.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
And then they were cool, like even after I got stage,
because literally was like one more person, the one of
the guys, the drummer. He's like, hey, I got a
I got a good like punch up for you, and
he wasn't being sarcastic.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
I was like, what is it?
Speaker 3 (06:01):
And he like said it like they gave him a mic,
the host it and he's like, you should say right
here right here.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Liked and I was like, I was sick that you
just did. Like that was nice. Yeah, advice.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
It was like it was like a CT joke about
Will because he he I think he knew what Bustin was.
He's like, when you bring up Will right here, you
should say something with CT and like, and I was like,
oh thanks. And then afterwards they were like they came
up and there that was pretty good for.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Your first time. Huh huh, man, I'm stick to the drums.
He's dude, you suck. I'm trying to be nice, but yeah,
it was fun.
Speaker 5 (06:29):
Finally did it. Now I'll stop talking about it as much.
The comedy that comedian discovery. He shout out you guys,
they commented on the episode and so cool. I finally
met him this past Sunday night.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
He had.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
He had a little showcase is it this? And he
this isn't a this to him? He knows it.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
This tiny show like it was, Oh wait, it was
in that I might be wrong on busting history. The
gravel lot that we shot the commercial one for fan Yeah,
Fandel is that where they found the bus?
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Okay, so you know that gravel lot? You know that
pizza place right there edge?
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Do you know for people that aren't Nashville, it's probably
weren't so, do you Yeah? Do you know?
Speaker 3 (07:04):
There's a room above it like to perform in tiny
little room. But he hosted a comedy show there, the
comedian Discovery Guy, and there was like five comedians on.
Literally there may have been like four people in the audience,
including me and McKenzie and then just the comedians standing
in the back and we're sitting on automans like in
the middle of this room. There's like just like cool
drapes everywhere. It literally just looked like a bedroom and
(07:26):
it was so cool though. But the comedian Discovery dude
is super cool. We talked for a while before and
after the show, and then he's been dming me a
bunch to help me, so shout out Josiah.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah, so back at it again next week. Yeah, we're
doing every Tuesday now. I wish I would have done
this alive in Nashville. I should have done.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
This because it would have been way funnier. But yesterday
I was passing Zanies and there was a line and
I wanted to roll down my windows so mad at
video y'all here.
Speaker 7 (07:51):
To see Damon.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
I would have put that Marquis. It would have been
so in my head.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
It was so funny in my head posting which it
was not funny to anyone else, but posting that, uh
that lineup picture with my name like at the bottom,
I in my head it was like sarcastic because it's
like people post like the marquee and stuff that and
that was my quivent me like first show like at
the bottom of this list of twenty five.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
But it's like kind of like, yeah, that it is cool.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
It's just like everyone else is just so used to it,
and they're like, I'm the nerdy one that like I
didn't take that picture to post. I took that picture
so I could keep reading the names to know how
long I had to go up. Because I'm like having
a panic attack in the back. And then it was
there was such a clutch moment where it was like
one guy that was performing, he had like ten friends
in there, which ten is a lot in this room,
and once he got off, they all left and I
was like, oh, let's go. Like once they dipped, I
(08:42):
was like, Oh, this room's empty. And then the nerves
really went away. My leg was definitely shaking up there.
I felt it.
Speaker 8 (08:48):
So was it scarier last week or this week?
Speaker 3 (08:51):
I'm not even just saying this, like looked like I
was right. The Zany's one was scarier, just like because
of the building. Yeah, I think that's like this room
was like just not that intimidating. When there was a
lot of people, it was pretty scary. But like once,
like I said, like once it started clearing out and
I was doing the math, I was like, everyone's gonna
be gone, Like, yeah, there's only gonna be a few
people in here. It's not gonna be that bad. And
like I told y'all, it was terrifying. And like the
(09:13):
second the hosts like said your name and you walk
up there and you kind of like shake hands, like
the second like you grab the mic, I don't know why,
it just like went away. It was kind of just
like it doesn't matter. It just it felt like this.
It was just like hello, like as soon as you
hear the reverb and it's not this sounds stupid, but
not as bad as you think it's gonna be.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
So I was like, that's something in my head, like
what if you just go up there and I can't talk?
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Yeah, because you just hear yourself.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
So yeah, I can't do this. That was once it
sounded okay, I was, okay, this isn't that bad.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Do you have any drinks to love yourself up a
little bit?
Speaker 1 (09:41):
I had. I had one beer.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Then I was gonna get a second beer, and then
I got such a bad stomach ache I think just
from nerves and the beer.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
And then I just did a ginger all so one
bud light and one ginger.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Literally, I wanted to because Mackenzie is so much like
you need like just drink a little bit before the show,
like it'll be so much easier, You're right, And then
I had one beer.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
I was like, babe, I got stomach caes I'm in
the best workers.
Speaker 8 (10:04):
Yeah mind what You should go watch his podcast on
his YouTube channel. But Jared explained to me that he
like the way his brain works is that he looks
at the best case possible, the best scenario, and what
could go wrong with that, And that's like we came
up with optimistically pessimistic.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yeah, where it's like your first special name.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
We were like, there's got to be a joke in
there somewhere, but we're like, it's such a weird I
feel like other people do this too, yeah, where it's
like with comedy. My thing was like when I first
even thought of doing it, I was like, all right,
so like, best case scenario, I'm Chappelle and then.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Well, wait to show up, Matt show up on time?
Producer Matt was late.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
We didn't.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
We said room forty.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Think about how weird it would have been if we
said twelve forty. Who starts at twelve forty? Okay, well
take over, sure can come on the show, then, Matt,
You're good.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
We weren't.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
Yeah, damn, Like fifteen minutes ago, no one was mad
at you. You came in hot, Yeah damn, Yeah, you
pulled up on us.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
You can you can turn.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
You came in mad at us, and you can you
can take was ready for do youn't even know how
to talk to us. I appreciate it coming in hot,
like that was what a hilarious way, not not my bad.
Speaker 7 (11:23):
You did an uber order. I'm just grabbing it really quick.
Oh you're the man clip.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Let's go fliplip new nickname Flip.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
I told McKenzie that, really. I was like, hey, we
call Matt flip now, and she's like why. I was like,
it's a flip of a corn if you like him,
and she's like.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
That's really mean.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
I was like, kind of is he's the one. He's
the one who brought it up. Yeah, yeah, you are
the one that brought that the theme song, so it's
worth flip shut out little flip song. Game over. Classic's
so good classick.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
That's sick, Joey can't.
Speaker 9 (11:53):
I mean, yeah, that's to be invited to show you
do have to like close that last thought because oh, okay,
so optimistically pessimistic.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
When I wanted to start in my head, I'm like,
all right, so let's just say in a year, I'm
I'm Chappelle level of success, which obviously.
Speaker 8 (12:10):
But then it's like, what's already crazy? In my my
brain just works differently.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Like I don't think I will get that.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
But then in my head, I'm like, what are all
the problems that come with that, like logistically, and I'm like,
I don't want to figure out how to put together
a show. I don't want to travel every weekend. It's
such a such an awful way to live.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
That you start there and then work backwards. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
But then so the like the light bulb moment that
me and JP had was he was like, I'm the opposite,
like I just want to do something.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
I do it.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
I figure out all the details later. And basically we
were saying the solution is the same to these opposite problems,
which is just you can figure it out later, like
just do shit. Yeah, like with the side quest kind
of things, like just do shit and then you can
figure out the.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
DTAs like knowing you that's not you you need to have.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
But honestly, the comedy thing is like my first attempt
at like trying not to have that many plans because
when I actually start logisically thinking about I'm like, I
actually hate going out on Tuesday, Like I don't want
to do this.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
But then I'm like, let's just get like stop being
pessimistic about it, like I enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
It's like exercising that. Yeah, I forgot what that's called.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Like there's a thing it's like, yeah, I know you're
talking about and you're not caring mussel. Yeah, there's a
word for it. Yeah, I'll try. Yeah, but now I will,
I'll stop being the guy.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
That pessimistic in one year. That's Jared's special Jared Yeah, flip.
Speaker 10 (13:35):
Open flip.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
He's the host.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
I am going to stop being the guy. I gotta
say this out loud at least once. I will stop
being the guy. Now that's like every week, like I'm
gonna do comedy. I did comedy, like dude, don't stop. Yeah,
I know, but like I'll bring it up every now
and then. But like I did comedy Discovery, like just
I gotta say his name, Josiah Uh. We were like
it's good that I did it, because like, if I
didn't do it this week, it really would have been like,
all right, you've been talking online for like three weeks
about how you're gonna do it, like you're gonna like, yeah,
(13:59):
it's good to start because in my head was like
that'll keep me accountable. Say it out loud. First, then
do it, but then it was turning into a thing.
It's like, well shit, I didn't get up. Now I'm
just turning to the guy. It's like every week I'm
hyping up this big four minute set that no one' sat.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
I mean, that's why it's your side quest though. Yeah,
I guess that's true. That's why we got to talk
about him here. Yeah, okay, I guess that's true.
Speaker 4 (14:18):
What else did we have on that list? There's only
one in my head that I want to get to.
But what else was on there?
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Jill's birthday party was on there? The one that I
put on there, that's right. What's the one that you?
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Jerry put one on there and took it off. We'll
get to that later. He thought about how good it
might go. Deal with that. I don't think I saw it.
I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
It was.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
I put it there for like ten seconds while I
Gee was on the Dog, and I just write, like
we're all putting topics, and I know G's the only
one of the dog.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
I just write assert its and then you write something Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
He wrote yes, and that like backspace sick because I'm
my overkidding and he's out, what.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
The fuck, dude, how was Jill's birthday? It was there.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
They hosted a great party. Yeah, so fun.
Speaker 7 (14:59):
Jill crushed.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
I wish y'all were there. I know y'all obviously were
truly stuff.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
We we want to host more than something. We were like,
really sad about ourselves because we used to host a
ton back in Texas and just moving here, all the
logistics of it, meeting friends, Jill getting pregnant, having a
baby now, so we're to the same point of like,
the only way to do it is just do it.
We're like, we have to host a birthday party for Jill.
(15:26):
Jill crushed. The decoration stuff. I was just the one
that was putting it up and she was telling me
what to do, so it looked good because of Jill.
And then you have this.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Guy with the I was gonna ask about that heard this.
Speaker 7 (15:43):
I have still yet to talk with him, so I'll keep.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
His name if he watches this.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Like, we're sorry that happened, and nothing was embarrassing about
it because I know nobody.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
It's not like we're making fun of you at all.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
We're not making fun of you.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
I've done that twice at events.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
What exactly what happened. That's happened to me, Oh for sure, yeah,
like legitimately.
Speaker 7 (16:05):
Have you heard this story? Oh okay, because I want
to that. I'm like, I want to hear it.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
I just don't want him to think that if he
watched alone. Yeah, it's not that like crazy.
Speaker 7 (16:18):
Darryl's not alone, and Darryl's very far from his real name,
so that is perfect. We'll go with Darryl.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Uh. It was just our Derek.
Speaker 7 (16:26):
Yeah, we're just talking around. Darryl's super nice. We actually
went to Baylor together. We were not, by any means
like friends, but we were acquaintances of acquaintances. So it
was a fun little like we're having this great conversation
of he went to the Auburn Baylor game and Jill
and I did too, and we're doing all this catching
(16:47):
up and I'm like, this Darryl guy rocks. I can't
wait to interact with them for the rest of the party.
All of a sudden, I look up and he's talking
with chef, and Chef's coming up to me and he's like, Hey,
where's your bathroom, man? And then Darryl comes and grabs
my arm and he's like, hey, do you have a
bathroom and he's spaced out and I'm like, I'm like,
(17:10):
I do have a bathroom out. I'm like, let's go
to it. I'm like, man, Darryl kind of turned up
because he was really no.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
One's drunk at this point, by the way, yeah, one
twenty minutes into the park.
Speaker 7 (17:20):
Yeah, very early in the night. I walk up to
the front door with him. We are literally at the
precipice of the door and he starts going back and forth.
I think he's kicking his shoes off, and so I go, brother,
you don't got to kick your shoes off.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
I remember hearing that, and.
Speaker 7 (17:37):
Right as I go like that, he just completely falls
to the ground. Thankfully, like his head kind of landed
on my leg. I did not catch him at all
the first time. First time, Oh yeah, oh yeah, I
get him up. Jared comes up thankfully. We get minutes
(18:01):
and all of a sudden he goes and he's like, hey, uh,
do you have a bathroom. I'm like, yeah, we're going
to it, like come with me, and down My hand's
like on his back. Jared's holding onto his other arm
and out of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Just again.
Speaker 7 (18:18):
At that time, I caught him. Mitch the strongest guy
at the party. Mitch is in the bathroom at this point,
but his boys standing right there and I'm holding this
guy that's way bigger than me, and I'm maintaining eye
contact with his dad. Think I go, can you grab him?
Speaker 2 (18:37):
You were like help, hey, they hey, can you can
you grab his feet?
Speaker 7 (18:41):
And he was like oh ship, yeah, yeah yeah, And
we get him. We get him on the couch and
he came back to again and he was like, hey,
can everybody back up? Can everybody back what's going on?
And We're like, buddy, we want to back up and
give me face, but what is going on? We want
to help you.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Joe is introducing herself to him.
Speaker 7 (18:59):
Oh yeah, I mean it was like the nurse. Thankfully,
Jill's a nurse, and all these nurses are there.
Speaker 5 (19:04):
If you're gonna pass out at a party, that's the
party to do it. Because I'm pretty sure every girl
there was either a pa, a nurse, or in the
health field.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Something like that flood in and it's like it's okay.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
It was literally someone said like does anyone a nurse?
Are like.
Speaker 7 (19:23):
Literally start going Sherman, can you get him a water?
We also need a fan Hey, guys, Jill, where's your stethoscope?
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Where's your trash? You have trash bags.
Speaker 7 (19:34):
Being right there and has like eight nurses on him
and they diagnosed it in like two minutes. They were
like toward Labram. He had surgery on it before. Uh,
while he was talking to chef and I guess telling
a story, his shoulder popped out of socket and the
pain from it just like all of a sudden, the
world just kind of like closed in on him and
(19:55):
he just started passing out.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
So you've done that twice. Yeah, I'm my I don't
know if this is like I won't like make it
all about me.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
All I'm saying is like I have a thing where
it's like if I have like any kind of pain
that overwhelms me quickly, even if it's not excruciating, I
pass out like quickly.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
And it's like I told you, I think I don't know.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Literally, I don't know if I told you about the
party I told you, Like when I worked at my
last job, I dropped a mic stand on my toe
and like, have y'all broken a toe before?
Speaker 1 (20:23):
I'm pretty sure I broke my toe.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
When you break your toe, it's not like excruciating, but
you're just like, fuck, I think I broke it. And
it's only happened to like three times where you just
drop something heavy on it, you go to the doctor
and they do an extra like it's broken, you can't
do shit about it. And that day I dropped a
heavy ass mic sounds like oh shit, like it hurt
really bad, but it's not like the end of the world,
like I know what it is.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Yeah, Like and uh so me and my.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
But we were like in the parking lot of the
office and we were like going to my coworker's car
to drop off some equipment, like when it happened, like shit,
I was like, I'm pretty sure I just broke it.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
And then he's like yeah, like he knows too, He's like, yeah,
that sucks.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Yeh.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Did we get into it, Like I get into his
passenger seat as I do, like I don't know how
to tell you this. I was like, I'm probably gonna
pass out on this ride.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
It's just a weird thing.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
And then I did, like at a certain point, it's
like anxiety or something in the window.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
It truly is just like overwhelming.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
Thoughts like oh shit, it's broken out to go the doctor.
I'm terrified it. Yeah, and then it always happens. It
hasn't happened like a million times, but it's happened like
three or four.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
So Bro wasn't drunk. He just mean Darryl.
Speaker 7 (21:29):
Sorry, Darryl wasn't drunk.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
I just relate to that feeling of like when you
have pain overwhelming and you're at a party ship.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
To be at the crew my boy Brian, okay.
Speaker 7 (21:38):
Uh best at my wedding. Shout out Brian, Brian the bartender.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
The wrong drinks, great drinks.
Speaker 7 (21:44):
His margaritas are nuts.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
We start getting back there. We said, hey, you go drink.
We're gonna start making some.
Speaker 7 (21:49):
He's never had a bartender job in his life. He
does it for the love of the game.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Got into it during COVID we talked about it. He did,
he did. He's sick. He's a mixologist.
Speaker 7 (21:58):
Mixologist in his mark are dangerous.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Good good good.
Speaker 7 (22:04):
But yeah, dude, I felt bad for Darryl. His wife
and Darryl were leaving and they were so apologetic. I
was like, you have nothing to apologize about, and.
Speaker 4 (22:12):
Get that shoulder figured out, man, That's what I felt
bad about.
Speaker 5 (22:19):
Oh yeah, Sherman is like dealing with all of that,
and like I come out from the bathroom, like what
is happening? I just see this dude on the couch
and I see Matt with your front door still open.
I see Matt walking in and Matt's like shuffling.
Speaker 7 (22:33):
Yeah, He's like and I'm like, he just showed up
to the party. So he literally is like what up.
Speaker 5 (22:40):
He's just about to be like what salt boys? It's
going on? And I'm like, let's just go outside and.
Speaker 7 (22:50):
Hit him fur. It starts going like dude, what the Yeah?
Speaker 5 (22:53):
No, and I was invited and I was like, no
that that dude just passed out, Like things are going
on in there, but good, Hey, what's up man?
Speaker 10 (23:02):
Nice to see ye Yl needed a smelling salt so.
Speaker 7 (23:04):
Bad and he that actually would have helped. It would
have helped Mat.
Speaker 5 (23:09):
Yeah, Matt was about to be like yeah, dude, I
was about to come in and make a scene if
you didn't stop.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
Stop It was for It was.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Also funny because Jill was like She's like, y'all just
had a kid. This is like her first big like
like I get to like hang out and like drink
and like we've been telling her all day because I'd
been at Shirm's house most today. This will be so fun,
like you could like finally let loose. Like even at
the beginning of the party, she still had the baby
monitor and we're like like it's all good, Like it's
like finally we're all like we literally said, right, Jill,
(23:40):
go get a drink, and like right when that happened, everything, hey, Joe,
actually like can you come helping her? This dude just
passed out, Like I felt so bad that she got
pulled at the last second.
Speaker 7 (23:49):
That was the kicker, I guess from the commotion of that.
Scarlett wakes up, so I'm holding him and Mitch's boy
is coming to lift him up. I also hear from
her nursery just yeah, just going crazy.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Not right now.
Speaker 7 (24:03):
I was like, oh man, this is but like fight,
fight through it, you know, we gotta make it work.
And it turned out being a great night.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
It was. It was great.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
The only thing that the only negative the bugs.
Speaker 7 (24:16):
My leg got destroyed. Had so many mosquito it's not
even funny. Yeah, I told Jill we needed the tiki
torch ones.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Other than that great party, duden't I live got to
get off we have We did have off food wise, We.
Speaker 7 (24:34):
Had good Questionacci poppers and jalapeno poppers on the smoker.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
You're you're a master though, the smoker in the front.
Those dogs were good.
Speaker 7 (24:48):
Yeah, the smoker such a cheat code for the easy
stuff like burgers. Dogs, You just you throw them on
the smoker and it's such a cheat code.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Dude, you're in your house.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
Its funny as the because I live right by Chirm,
It wasn't even that bad compared to my house. Like
your neighborhood is just so I mean maybe all Nashville is,
but the mosquitos in that neighborhood are fucking insane, so bad.
And I told him my neighbor has like water standing
water in the backyard, So I think it's like ten
times worse in my hot because at your house, I
was like, this is amazing compared. It's funny to hear
that because like it's just so bad of it there.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
The mosquitos's got to roll real quick.
Speaker 5 (25:25):
So if you're going to do our parlay and then
we can get back into other stuff so we can
get Gee's picks.
Speaker 1 (25:31):
Because the two next topics, Yeah, what was the one
that you want to talk about.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
I want to talk about the worst TV or movie
main character.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
We can say that for the next episode that, yeah,
we can save it. We can save it.
Speaker 4 (25:43):
Okay, Yeah, because y'all brought up a really good one
yesterday to where I was like, yeah, fuck that guy.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
Yeah, actually I have a bad one.
Speaker 7 (25:50):
I just thought that's a good tease for the audience,
because now I'm sure they're like.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
That, Wait, we can do that next episode for sure.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Yeah. Yeah, But to the parlay, do you want to
go first? You can go? You want me to go first,
so you can look.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
I can go, And if y'all have it, I got
some options I'd like for some reason. I like Bucks
money line.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Come on, I mean I like I like that too.
You want to go miney line, or you want to
go plus points?
Speaker 1 (26:18):
I mean, we can do plus points, y'all.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Y'all, I have no thought plus three and a half?
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah, plus three and a half? Okay, all right? Bucks?
Speaker 3 (26:27):
Yeah, wait, never mind, I'm looking Milwaukee Bucks.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
No, I'm looking too far ahead.
Speaker 5 (26:32):
Like next week, I am going to go Chargers minus
six and a half against the Giants. I think that
defense is going to be too much for Jackson Dart.
But I am so hyped that Jackson Dart is starting.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
For sure.
Speaker 10 (26:44):
It's gonna be fun.
Speaker 6 (26:49):
I am going Rams minus three and a half at
home against the Colts minus one to wait.
Speaker 7 (26:55):
Odds rams minus three and a half.
Speaker 8 (26:59):
Okay, I think I'm gonna do Lions minus nine and
a half. One of the main reasons because the Browns
were able to pull off a little upset last week.
I think it's perfect for Dan Campbell to be like, hey,
we can't yeah, like, we can't let.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
This happen to us. Yeah, So I'm gonna go Lions. Cool.
Speaker 7 (27:20):
I'm dared you got one.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
I'm looking at the Ravens and I was thinking about
moving the line. Okay, I'm gonna do and a half.
Speaker 7 (27:29):
I'm gonna do the Bills.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
No, no more.
Speaker 7 (27:34):
The Bills are currently at minus fifteen and a half.
I'm gonna move that to minus thirteen and a half.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
I like it. I like that.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
Let me get there, all right, Jared, what do you
got Ravens or minus two and a half.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
You think it could be better than that or no?
I think it's a good spot. I think it's yeah, yeah,
all right, then cant just say, Ravens minus two and
a half, then we.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Need to learn you up more on football me.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
He knows, I don't want to. He said he's gonna
move the line.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
I know, but he just picks the raven the Ravens
every week.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
I did. I did. I was pretty good last week.
Ravens your boy? Oh yeah, line, yeah whatever you told me?
They did score?
Speaker 7 (28:11):
Did you money line or minus two and a half?
Speaker 1 (28:14):
I did say before.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
I was like, if y'all just want to pick an
extra for me, I don't know ball, and I'm not
gonna know ball.
Speaker 10 (28:18):
That be tough.
Speaker 5 (28:19):
So we got our six picks plus three and a half,
Chargers minus six and a half, Rams minus three and
a half, Lions minus nine and a half, Bills minus
thirteen and a half in Ravens minus two and a half.
That comes out to you plus thirty nine sixty two
ten dollars to win almost four hundred.
Speaker 7 (28:41):
Plus seventy six fifty five. Did I do something wrong?
Speaker 2 (28:45):
I think you did maybe money line instead.
Speaker 7 (28:47):
Of I moved my line on Buffalo bills.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Did you do money line instead of for the bucks?
Speaker 7 (28:54):
For the bucks? I did plus three and a half.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
So that's why his is high fit.
Speaker 10 (29:02):
I fix it.
Speaker 7 (29:03):
I had a I have the app opened earlier and
I had accidentally selected something.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
All right, so stay tuned for that. Hopefully one of
these times will hit. We'll hit one.
Speaker 5 (29:13):
Week one we did really good, Week two we did
really bad. Maybe we'll be somewhere in the middle, or.
Speaker 8 (29:18):
We'll hit probably hit well hit. That's the only logical explanation. Yeah,
or thought process.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
Have you seen what Sassin Ron are doing. No, they
have this show.
Speaker 8 (29:27):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
I think it's called just like the whiteboard or something,
and I think they I might misunderstand this, but I
think they pick every single NFL game they do of
the weekend and make a parley out of it.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
I mean it's like odds like better ten win like
a hundred. I mean, but it's like I think, I
think what they always do is bet one hundred on it.
And I think it like is a lot like when
they if they would ever win, they've gotten like pretty
damn close.
Speaker 7 (29:51):
Because the biggest winnings I think you can do on
or the best odds that you can do.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
It's like in the millions, the max you can win
as the million dollars.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (30:00):
Yeah, because we had something loaded up last year.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
I think it was the first. It was Opening Days.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
It was the home run parlay.
Speaker 7 (30:09):
It was one home run away from winning like three
hundred grand.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, it maxes even longer like the home run, Like.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
You could only put like two cents on it.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
Yeah, oh, I do know you're talking about. Yeah, what
if you're betting.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
Like, uh, like huge units for something that's reasonable.
Speaker 8 (30:27):
Does that make sense if you bet a million dollars
to win like twenty thousand.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
I think Fandor has a cap on.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
I mean that would make sense that there's a cap. Yeah,
I just was curious.
Speaker 7 (30:35):
I'm sure that, like, depending on your wager, there's probably
some kind of rule difference.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
There definitely a max on the wager, even if it's
a likely thing.
Speaker 7 (30:44):
If you're putting like two hundred and fifty thousand down,
I'm sure that they're willing.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
To accept that. Yeah, you'll be in the suite at
any game for sure. Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
This is the next thing this happened to me this morning.
I want to hear this. Oh yeah, And I don't
know if it's a me thing or a guy thing
or just what. But I got my coffee at Parlor
Donuts shut up parlor donuts donuts today.
Speaker 5 (31:09):
Yeah, let's go on a Thursday. I think I'm now
that we kind of like sort of have off on Fridays.
I think Thursday is gonna be my thing. Come in
a little bit later for the Thursday stream. But I
got the like I'm I'm there, I'm like the only
one there and it's later than normal. So they didn't
have all my donuts, so I started. I didn't they
didn't have I normally get the two that I normally get,
(31:29):
and they were out of them. So I asked, like
I enjoy asking, like the people like, hey, what's your
favorite thing?
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Maybe I'll like that?
Speaker 1 (31:36):
So innocent.
Speaker 5 (31:37):
So I was like, hey, I'm gonna get I'll get
to chocolate chocolate. What other ones do you recommend? And
so like we started this girl and I started talking
and then it's like she's like, ah, I like this,
I like this. I'm like all right, I'll try that one.
So then I'm checking out and she's like, so, what's like,
what's your name? I see you in here all the time,
and I'm like like, I'm Mitch. Like she got like
(31:57):
nice to finally meet you, and then we just started talking.
She started asking that, like what I do down here?
And I was like talking about work and I didn't
ask her anything about her, but like essentially it was like, yeah,
I've been down here for three years here, worked in
NASCAR for you and Charlotte they moved over here, like
work for us with the boys, NFL thing and all
To say all of that to say, how do you
(32:18):
know when or when not you're being hit on and
if somebody is flirting with you? Because like I'm walking out,
I'm like, was she trying to like flirt with me
or something?
Speaker 1 (32:27):
Like what happened?
Speaker 7 (32:28):
I just a going would she just being super nice?
Or was she hitting on you?
Speaker 5 (32:33):
I have no question, yeah, because I have no idea,
Like I don't know, I'm thinking I'd.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Be so oblivious to that.
Speaker 8 (32:40):
I'd be like, have y'all seen the video from that
uh Indian comedian guy or like like Saheb or something.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
He makes these hilarious sketch comedies.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Either one. It's like when you're a fringe friend trying
to like.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
Yes, bro, he has one.
Speaker 8 (32:52):
And it was like when a waitress is literally just
doing her job, but your one friend thinks he's flirting
and it like cuts to the and he's like, look,
She's like, can I take your order?
Speaker 2 (33:02):
And he's like.
Speaker 8 (33:07):
That situation was make me think of it. But I
love the question how do you know?
Speaker 3 (33:11):
I have Like I'm trying really hard to think because
I don't have like an immediately because in my like
in my head, I'm like, oh, I'm just like having
a conversation with her, like there's nothing.
Speaker 5 (33:20):
But then I've been in situations like when I lived
in Charlotte with like my ex girlfriend at the time.
She was like why, like what's happening here? And I'm like, right,
I think I'm just having a conversation.
Speaker 8 (33:30):
I think context is everything, Like I think what time
were you there at the donuts?
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Like eleven?
Speaker 1 (33:36):
I feel like an.
Speaker 8 (33:36):
Am it's getting hit on in the in the am
period is.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
But she's she's like, but she was, She's like, I
see you in here all the time, like what's your name?
Speaker 2 (33:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (33:46):
But see, I like I don't do that to girls.
But like if I say, at the gym, I see
somebody in there, I'll go up to and be like
but I see all the time, what's like.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
What's your name? And I'll introduce myself.
Speaker 7 (33:57):
That passing comba yea a night party like that drinking stuff,
So like, okay, that's normal. Yeah, However, at a in
the morning, everybody's trying to get to where they're going.
Everybody's busy, they're tired, and somebody's like keeps on.
Speaker 10 (34:14):
Oh, you know, you're.
Speaker 5 (34:15):
Saying what I thought, like if you're drinking and stuff,
like I'm saying, the morning is friendly.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
You're just having a cap.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
Yes, So me and JP are saying the opposite. Like
in my head, at a drinking thing, if a girl's
like really like talking me up, I think that's floating
more than like the girl doing or I'm not disagreeing
with you like side I know, but I'm saying like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
We're on more of the same side, and y'all are on.
Speaker 5 (34:37):
More of the same because like in the morning, like
you're just trying to get to work, you're just trying
to get my coffee, my doughnuts and dip. See both side.
If she's like what are you there? Eleven like eleven eleven, fifteen,
just trying to.
Speaker 8 (34:47):
Like what that says to me is like this guy
don't have a lot going on this morning.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
He's probably She did ask me, like what do you
do for work? And roll in here at eleven fifteen.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
I'm like, he's taking he's taking his time picking out
these and but I'm just like, so you're not.
Speaker 5 (35:02):
We had like a five minute conversation and I'm like,
in the back of mind, do I say you have
a girlfriend?
Speaker 10 (35:07):
Like?
Speaker 5 (35:08):
What do I do here? Like what is happening? Just
overthinking the entire thing? And she could have just been
super friendly, right and.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
Because they are very nice at parlor, they are they're
the best.
Speaker 5 (35:17):
But I was just like, and in my head, I'm like,
should I ask something about her?
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Like?
Speaker 5 (35:22):
Is that too much of my gun? Am I even
giving it? Should we have been back to her? Like
what is happening right now?
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Just overthinking?
Speaker 1 (35:28):
Should kiss over Brook?
Speaker 7 (35:30):
Watching right now?
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Is this a test planet? Her best case friends?
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Do I want to cheat? Now?
Speaker 5 (35:40):
But then I got Then I got in the car,
I'm like, do I just text? Do I text Brook
and be.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Like, Hey, I don't know if I was just getting
flirted with?
Speaker 1 (35:48):
Do I apologize to Brook?
Speaker 8 (35:50):
I definitely think you're overthinking for sure, But I think
it is a good question, great question, how do you know?
Speaker 2 (35:56):
How do you know?
Speaker 7 (35:57):
And in the off chance because there are just there's
people out there that are interesting. And imagine Mitch walking
in with Brooke one day and she's behind the counter
and she's just.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
Is this, yeah, you always talk to me. It's like,
oh shit, girlfriend, dude. The one time, like one time
me and McKenzie at this bar. This is the only
time that I've been with her, with Mackenzie where she
was like that girl was flirting with you.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
You could not tell it all. And it was that
this girl we know she had a friend.
Speaker 3 (36:25):
I still don't know who the girls, but like Mackenzie
kind of knew her, and she like came up because
we're in a circle, was talking and she's like, oh,
like I think it was like when I was working
at barstool and she was asking about that, and she
kept asking about it, kind of like work kind of stuff,
and I was just like McKenzie's beside me, so I'm like,
oh yeah, And like Mackenzie wasn't accusing me of flirting
at all, Like I was just answering the girl's questions
talking and then we walked away.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
That girl was flirting so hard with you. I was like, really,
that's exactly how I'm like. She was I think.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
I think dudes are almost I don't know if insecures
the right way, like it's not getting insecure, but yeah,
we're almost so like she's flirting with me, like why.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Yeah, there's no shot this person.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
It's flirting with me because in my head is having
a good conversation, Like in my head it's for maybe
one person in this room.
Speaker 5 (37:06):
Oh yeah, Like that's what Coop and I were laughing
at his hand, like he's like if a hostess is like,
how many seats do you want?
Speaker 1 (37:16):
He's like, fucking chill, you have something to say on it.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
Any female that interacts with you, they're hitting on you.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
What was the last thing she said to you? That's important,
that's a good question.
Speaker 5 (37:31):
She's like, nice to finally meet you, Nice to like
finally like for like put the mouth.
Speaker 11 (37:37):
She was flirting, it's all about that last line. And
she was like, oh, well, you know, nice to meet you.
But saying that, like, hey, finally like put a name
to a face and keep adding on to it.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
She was for that's what I like about the last line.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
It's all about the last line. I like that how
it's how they close it.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
And she was like, uh. She kept asking me like, oh, so,
like what do you do there? Like really done? Like
this is I thought?
Speaker 1 (38:05):
So I do think in my head subscribed. She's already
looked at the audio board in the morning when I do. Yeah,
so you know, like they just gave systems and processes
to Jared.
Speaker 7 (38:15):
Were there people in line?
Speaker 1 (38:17):
No, it's just me, okay, okay. You imagine how if
it was like that, if there were people in line
of like okay, then definitely.
Speaker 7 (38:23):
And that's where my brain was now, like y'all's perspective, like, hey,
she was just doing her job and being.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
I don't think y'all are wrong. I just think like you.
I mean, like it's not a take that I'm.
Speaker 7 (38:32):
Like yard, But if that place had been packed for
sure and she's doing that, I would have been like, yeah,
I'd think she definitely was like interested in having a
conversation with you.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
That's a good like not debate, but like yeah, it's
like when are I just I think it just goes
to show what an answer.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (38:48):
I don't know if it's just how dumb guys are,
how oblivious guys are, like when it comes to like,
oh you were flirting with me, Like is that that's
what happened.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
I would say the same thing, Like me McKenzie had
been at a bar where a dude is like very
obviously word with her and she's like friendly, like just
talking back to him, like with me, right, besides the
same exact situation where afterwards I'm like that dude.
Speaker 8 (39:06):
Was like it feels I mean, it's way more obvious
with guys, I think for sure, but.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
Maybe we're just ladies that staying with you, Like maybe
it's like we're guys, so we don't Yeah, maybe.
Speaker 8 (39:16):
It's just so, but I think typically we're the pursuers.
So it's like, you're right, if a girl is coming
up to you, it's not.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
So you think like girls like they like shouldn't be
strong enough to walk up to a guy and hit
on them, like you think they're that little he's.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
On the girl like you're being sexist. Depends on the girl.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
That did not land.
Speaker 7 (39:38):
I will say, having a ring on, uh, it is
interesting in conversations like I will pick up and I
don't think these people are hitting on the but like
I will pick up on the fact that like people
every now and then I'll see them look down and
see my ring it just like small little.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
And the girls like, oh shit, she will she is
that a good thing?
Speaker 12 (40:01):
Here?
Speaker 1 (40:01):
She does that? Damn it, this conversation's over.
Speaker 7 (40:03):
No, they are doing that. But that is one thing
that I have noticed.
Speaker 1 (40:08):
I'm like, oh, Jack, I mean, any girl that talks
to him, it is just we are.
Speaker 5 (40:14):
You're balls deep in a conversation right now. And I'll
just briefly tell the story. I went and got my
donuts this morning parlor, yep, and the the lady or
the girl that was helping me out, super nice girl
just started like, hey, what's your name?
Speaker 2 (40:28):
What do you do for work? Just kept going and
I couldn't tell if she was flirting with me or
just being friendly.
Speaker 10 (40:33):
Have you paid already?
Speaker 5 (40:34):
I was like paying and then like maybe we didn't
even bring up Yeah, I like I had paid, and
then I.
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Was staying there for another minute.
Speaker 7 (40:42):
That was a good question.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
Maybe she wanted. Yeah, that's a good question.
Speaker 10 (40:44):
Names one thing because because you can be like what's
your name for the order? But she's your name.
Speaker 2 (40:49):
She was like, she's.
Speaker 10 (40:51):
Hitting on you. She maybe it's just cool to be
kind again.
Speaker 5 (40:57):
But I was saying, like I see you in here
all the time, Like just nice to finally put a
name to your face, like name to the face kind
of thing.
Speaker 10 (41:03):
It could be.
Speaker 12 (41:03):
You've now attained a regular status, which is right from it.
Speaker 10 (41:08):
That's a big deal.
Speaker 5 (41:09):
Any I did see, I did see they had like
a friends and neighbors. They added that little discount on there,
so I really but there was a guy that was
there and you ring me up. So I don't know
if he did it or if the girl did it,
but in my like, that was another thing. I'm like,
what the fuck is happening right now? But yeah, so
(41:31):
that's what we've been talking about for the last fifteen minutes.
Speaker 7 (41:34):
That was the third party appearance of just not hearing
any of our debate, and you brought up some great points.
Speaker 12 (41:40):
Jack, like party wants her to be hitting on you,
but pardon me, more of me wanted.
Speaker 10 (41:44):
To just be a kind soul me Like what you like?
You're in here enough? Like what do you do? Like
you buy a shit ton of donuts?
Speaker 5 (41:50):
You must have a good job, ye, Like I'm here
at eleven fifteen, What do you do for work?
Speaker 2 (41:54):
Why aren't you at work yet?
Speaker 1 (41:56):
It's so nice that you're treating your coworkers every week,
going no.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
This is just for me, so yeah, but yeah, that's a.
Speaker 8 (42:03):
I had a good answer. He was like, it depends
on the last line.
Speaker 10 (42:06):
Yeah, yeah, what was the last line.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
She was like, nice to finally put a name to
a face.
Speaker 10 (42:09):
I mean that feels like it's hitting on you.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
Yeah, that's exactly what he said.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
Yeah, yeah, that you are.
Speaker 10 (42:14):
Just like yeah, hell yeah.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
Uh kind of a good like you made a joke
about it. But how old was she? Like, have no idea,
probably like my age going to come out. She's like seventy. Hilariously,
she's a really old woman.
Speaker 5 (42:28):
I think she was like around my age, and that's
kind of but I like the thing is I didn't
ask her a single thing about herself.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
So that's why I was like, I.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
Mean, you can't be like, what do you do? It's
like you're looking at it.
Speaker 8 (42:41):
Well in Nashville, though, that's true a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (42:44):
That's a very good point.
Speaker 3 (42:45):
She could be a musician, yeah, comedian, don't judge people
just based off of.
Speaker 8 (42:51):
That.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Get a Big Pop that was next to New York
was good.
Speaker 10 (42:57):
But yeah, yeah, Clay is always but.
Speaker 12 (43:01):
I wanted to be there, especially because we'll obviously first
ball trip to New York came to like a champ.
Speaker 10 (43:07):
All the guys are having fun with it.
Speaker 12 (43:08):
But the more contest see, people were like, I want
to dislike this haircut.
Speaker 10 (43:12):
But they're like, he looks good. I keep telling him.
Speaker 12 (43:15):
I'm like, dude, I'm like saying this so seriously, you
need to have a moment where you consider keeping this haircut,
Like you don't keep it forever, but maybe till Nebraska
loses again. Well, they have a bye this week, so
it's like, I feel like every Saturday win he should
go clean shaving again.
Speaker 10 (43:33):
I just I don't know.
Speaker 8 (43:34):
I agree because he's he's a guy that he wants
to make sure there's no stone unturned for Nebraska to succeed,
and that's one of the stones.
Speaker 12 (43:41):
I can feel it in his kind of just energy.
His confidence feels like it's boosted because he was very nervous.
I'm sure on Sunday and Saturday night when we got
back in the bust and bowl for obvious reasons. But
I feel like because of the outpour of like, hey,
this actually does look good on you, maybe this is
for the best us.
Speaker 10 (44:00):
He I think, is leaning into it a little bit more.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
He got to put on Scott Van Pelt's radar.
Speaker 10 (44:05):
He is honestly some pretty solid.
Speaker 12 (44:09):
Yeah, that was some real breakdown of bald culture.
Speaker 5 (44:13):
I wonder how Taylor would take being bald. I feel
like Will is like he's actually accepting it. I feel
like Taylor would.
Speaker 12 (44:20):
Be Like I feel like Taylor wouldn't look very good bald,
but his hair is gonna grow back, so probably thicker. Yeah, now,
and we've talked about it before. Tay's got a great hairline,
great head of hair. But yeah, I think Will's understanding
that at some point in the future, maybe not tomorrow,
maybe not, this is my future years that, Yeah, being
bald is his future.
Speaker 10 (44:39):
He knows that.
Speaker 12 (44:40):
So I think it's like a good just like in
the future when you have to stare down the gun
barrel like a lot of us, Like I'll be one
of those guys, Like my hair is like creeping up
on the sides, and I don't know how I'm gonna,
you know, weather with a bald head, or if I'll
go that far.
Speaker 8 (44:55):
But I think about every day in the shower when
I see my hair on their falling out.
Speaker 12 (44:58):
Dude, it's bad, honestly, sitting a lot of confidence out
to those Yeah, premature balding guys.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
Right, Not that Will's ever usually in like a bad
mood during the week, but he's been in the very
especially good mood this week, saying good I think didn't
never ask after.
Speaker 8 (45:15):
He's trying to come at you on Twitter?
Speaker 10 (45:17):
Yeah thumbnail. Yeah, I mean that's just I saw that notification.
I would looked at him. I was like, well, that's
just your fault.
Speaker 2 (45:24):
That's just you Will.
Speaker 7 (45:25):
This may be messy Waters since they are a sponsor,
but Roe does have uh hair hair regrowth stuff, and
I was like, if there are people at the shop
that are interested in that, because it sounds like Will is,
I'm like, we should reach out to them and be like, hey,
we can do the roast sparks, but also can we
do the finestered.
Speaker 1 (45:46):
We're all bald.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
I think We'll just needs to stay, like, just go
out to Turkey while he's bald.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
Right now, he's got a ride out the season.
Speaker 10 (45:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (45:56):
Once he grows that beard back in it looked sharp. Yeah,
the mustache and when he gets the Orlando bloom going.
Speaker 2 (46:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (46:04):
Circa Pirates of the.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
Ca Yeah, well yeah, didn't we have some other good Yeah?
I thought there was another topic on that that was
good on there? What's that? Oh?
Speaker 2 (46:17):
I don't know, I'm checking out.
Speaker 7 (46:19):
Jared wrote tits r ass on the on the doc
it was Jared's thing, Jill's birthday party, Uh, the one
that we just talked about, and then the one was
the worst TV and movie main character.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
But that's when we went to wait for that next.
Speaker 5 (46:34):
Week the parlay. Should we do inside the bus merch?
Would y' all like that? And then also like start
insider questions? Uh, and like comment Twitter stuff like that,
like not like a tier talk for busting, but like
for a tear talk for like us.
Speaker 7 (46:48):
I love that, And can I petition I said this
off of this set, but can I petition for our
parlay segment to be called Insider Trading?
Speaker 2 (46:59):
We like that name.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
Until someone tells I love the name.
Speaker 3 (47:02):
Yeah, yeah, I just I love the name as long
as like Fando is like, yeah, maybe we don't call
it the illegal thing once we Once we hit a parlay,
I think it is when we start pushing the fan
to like, hey, we need our parlay on the site.
Speaker 1 (47:15):
They'll never do.
Speaker 8 (47:15):
We gotta we gotta take down a lot of names
to get on there, which.
Speaker 1 (47:20):
We could do. We can't do it.
Speaker 8 (47:22):
I think all I'm saying is it might take more
than one parlay, which we need to rise up to
that to that occasion.
Speaker 3 (47:26):
Hey, fando, we hit a parlay? When is our photo
shoot for the.
Speaker 7 (47:31):
App after this week? If we don't hit this parlay,
I think we go we all try and find an
alt spread that we really like. Just go super fucking
safe with it. Yeah, like all spread into the safer uh.
Speaker 2 (47:48):
Direction, odds like plus three hundred type.
Speaker 1 (47:51):
Yeah, per let's just win lunch.
Speaker 7 (47:55):
Let's just win lunch.
Speaker 1 (47:57):
Just a little lunch. Yeah, yeah, just a little lunch.
Try change our lives.
Speaker 3 (48:00):
And then let's build on that and then we go.
Then maybe we get dinner, then we get a vacation,
and then we get kan Prime dinner, and then we
buy bust them with the boys, then we buy a fandle.
Speaker 7 (48:15):
I was gonna say, if we wanted to do just
a quick one, what's everybody's favorite cut of meat for
a stage, Like if you're a cook or order New
York boneless.
Speaker 12 (48:28):
Bone in temperature say medium rare, and then you don't
like if you like your medium or well done, like.
Speaker 10 (48:35):
Just rise up.
Speaker 1 (48:37):
I'll say it medium well New York strip medium.
Speaker 5 (48:42):
Okay, give me mashed potatoes in the side, and I'll
dip the steak in the mashed potatoes.
Speaker 10 (48:47):
Get a little combo potatoes.
Speaker 12 (48:51):
I like a strip. If I'm making one at home,
I like a strip. It feels like it's the most
consistent to cook with. I actually cooked two strips last night.
Speaker 10 (49:00):
It came out. I like it medium rare plus.
Speaker 12 (49:03):
I don't like it where it like feels like it
like you could question if it needs a little more time.
But I do like it to be pretty h wall
to wall pink. And if I can remember, I'll send
you the photo. You can put it up there. It
came out pretty damn good.
Speaker 10 (49:16):
But you look.
Speaker 1 (49:18):
Your stak's always look good that you post.
Speaker 2 (49:20):
I don't think we saw your meat pick last did
you post me?
Speaker 10 (49:22):
Yeah, it was like it was a little late.
Speaker 12 (49:24):
It was like right when we were taking off to
go to New York yesterday. But it's I also love
a rabbi, a good fatty piece.
Speaker 3 (49:30):
It just yeah, it's someone that doesn't know how to
order steak well as someone that's like started liking steak
in the last year.
Speaker 1 (49:37):
With the cut of me, I always just asked, like,
what's like the most popular thing at the place, and
I order that medium? What'd you get a cane? You remember,
wagu file a medium?
Speaker 2 (49:47):
Well? Medium?
Speaker 5 (49:48):
I feel like ever ever since a JP's engagement dinner
where you were like, Taylor order for me, I don't
know what I want?
Speaker 3 (49:53):
Yeah, because you still like steak, right I did. I
didn't like steak before that dinner. Yeah, And I'll say
this like which every McKenzie always like makes jokes about it.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Like before I start eating steak, I never like dislike steak.
It always tasted all right, what how you liked it that?
Speaker 3 (50:09):
But like even when I ate it like a good one,
I was like, this tastes fine, but like it doesn't
take like I don't love it, and it's expensive, so
it's like why would I be ordering this, you know
what I mean? So I just never ordered steak because
it's like if I'm at someone's house and their cooking steak.
I enjoyed it, but I didn't like love it, And
now like recently I kind of started like not loving it,
but like it's still not my favorite food every but
it is pretty damn good. Yeah, especially in a nice place.
Speaker 12 (50:29):
So you're saying there's no shame at all in asking
a waiter what they would prefer. That's what I always
do now, especially if a waiter comes up and right
off the jump, you can tell that this guy isn't
just trying to sell you on like the highest price. Yes, right,
Because I went to Sperry's like a like maybe a
month ago, Spurry's Gas, I think it's my favorite stake
out in Nashville, and I asked the guy what he
(50:50):
would have preferred. I was gonna get a strip, yeah,
and he told me to go with this like I
forget what it was. It was some kind of a
rabbi and I got it phenomenal. And then another thing
that I feel like I will even ask, even though
I feel like I can cook a steak to pretty
solid temperature or whatever you want, I'll be like, what
does the chef prefer on it? Like if it's a ribbi,
it's gonna be cooked a little bit less as opposed.
Speaker 10 (51:12):
To, you know, a strip steak or something like that.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
Yeah, he didn't even recommend the most expensive one, like
there was other one.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (51:19):
And it's like I don't really order steaks at not
nice places because I don't love steak that much. Like
I only get steaks when it's like nice places or
if we're cooking a home that's different. But like I'm
only getting steak at.
Speaker 1 (51:29):
Like a nice steakhouse.
Speaker 7 (51:30):
That's been a pretty fun. Added bonus of that Rectex
smoker that I got is just reading through the app
of like the temperature settings that Jack just brought up.
How many ounces is your boneless ribbi? Okay, then you'll
want to smoke it to get it to this temp
for medium rare And I'm like, a.
Speaker 12 (51:49):
So after that, will you like take it off and
then we would you see your steak efforts or we'll do.
Speaker 10 (51:54):
It for you.
Speaker 7 (51:55):
You can reverse sere, you can reverse here with the smoker,
which I I like that Jill does too, not everyone does.
Speaker 10 (52:03):
I love the char on it.
Speaker 12 (52:04):
That's probably my favorite part of the steak with pink
in the center and good crust.
Speaker 7 (52:09):
That's crazy amount of all of.
Speaker 10 (52:13):
A low smoke point on olive oil. Oh, it's so good.
See the ship of that thing.
Speaker 8 (52:19):
And uh.
Speaker 7 (52:20):
To answer the question, I think I would do a
boneless ribby medium rare plus or just like a heavy
sear on it.
Speaker 3 (52:29):
I feel like I do have to say as the
guy that like orders medium, well, if it's if someone's
ordering steaks for the table, I don't say anything, Wait do.
Speaker 10 (52:34):
You actually order your sake medium?
Speaker 1 (52:36):
Well yeah, I don't say.
Speaker 12 (52:37):
Like right when we started this conversation, I did not
want to come in here and just be nasty anyone.
I was like Jared, Honestly, if I had to pick
someone who orders yeah.
Speaker 10 (52:45):
It would be yeah. Like I wanted to give you
an opportunity to.
Speaker 1 (52:49):
You said you were like, be honest. I was like,
I'll be honest.
Speaker 3 (52:50):
It's medium, well, like enjoy your steak, but if someone
orders for the table, I am not ever being like,
can we get this one a little bit more like
when we when me and Taylor were in Vay, I
guess before the UFC, he ordered stakes to the room
and oh my god.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
They were like mooing.
Speaker 3 (53:04):
They were like it was just raw, and I didn't
say anything I hate the whole thing. It was fine,
it was fine.
Speaker 8 (53:09):
But it's like if you had like a true like
medium steak or.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
Yeah, yeah, like for sure, and it's not bad, Like
it's fine, I'll eat it. But it's like at Caine,
I was.
Speaker 3 (53:18):
Tell mckensiyy was like, should I just like order me
You're paying over like a hundred dollars for just get
it how you want it. But if I'm with people
and it's like a big thing, I will not do that.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
But if I'm like at Kane with just my girlfriend
and I'm paying a lot, I'm gonna get it how
I want it.
Speaker 12 (53:32):
But sure somehow ties back in with Will's bald head, like,
at the end of the day, you need to start
order it like medium.
Speaker 10 (53:38):
Well, if you're paying for it, well done, you're gonna
get You're gonna get judgment and comments every time. But
at the end of the day doing what you want.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
To dope, you're Yeah. If I'm not paying though, yeah,
it can be however overcook.
Speaker 3 (53:55):
Yeah, that's like when at your thing and when Taylor's
ordered stakes, I just get it how it comes.
Speaker 7 (54:04):
Are you coming injy gee, I'll.
Speaker 1 (54:06):
Want to be here.
Speaker 10 (54:08):
Oh, finish the doc?
Speaker 1 (54:11):
How about that ending I started? Anyone is anyone in
the middle of it?
Speaker 12 (54:15):
I won't say anything, but dude that haven't started, I
thought you probably appreciate it for what it was, just
like it was so well done no matter what the
subject was the documentary.
Speaker 1 (54:26):
Was just there was no part of it that got born.
Speaker 12 (54:29):
Like old movie clips they would give context to the
specific story but has nothing to do with it.
Speaker 1 (54:33):
I'm like, this is a bunch of Two and a
half Men clips. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 12 (54:38):
I finished it last time, playing in New York and
it just felt like a good omen.
Speaker 10 (54:41):
I finally lay down my bed.
Speaker 12 (54:43):
It's like twelve thirty and I'm like, I could I
kind of want to watch like twenty minutes of a
show and then fall asleep, and you know, it's like
twelve fifty six I think.
Speaker 10 (54:51):
At this point.
Speaker 12 (54:52):
And so at one am, one singular episode of Two
and a half Men was started off with Charlie Sheen.
I was like, gotta watch it.
Speaker 10 (55:01):
It's probably because this doc is pressed to her.
Speaker 12 (55:03):
They're just like CBS or whoever you guys, sorry, blasting it.
Speaker 1 (55:08):
I love the like how they interview him the whole time.
Speaker 4 (55:11):
I thought that whole set up and shot was Yeah.
Speaker 1 (55:15):
I'm the ending.
Speaker 7 (55:18):
I haven't seen we recap. I want I have to watch.
Speaker 12 (55:20):
It's only two hour and a half episodes, so you
can like split it up like by night, like watching
a movie type, or just throw it on.
Speaker 10 (55:27):
But yeah, so many people in it that you'll recognize
all his wives that he's had. I think we were
just kind of.
Speaker 7 (55:34):
Yeah, I can step out.
Speaker 1 (55:36):
I can step out if you no, no, no, no,
I don't.
Speaker 10 (55:39):
Think we maybe we can discuss.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
Yeah, I want to say, there's just such there's just
I'm not gonna say it is. I'm not even gonna
all I'm gonna say is just like at the end,
it's just like when like the story feels finished, there's
just this random thing that you're like, wait what, and
like they don't even make a big deal out of it,
which is kind of cool, I think.
Speaker 10 (55:57):
Just to give context without giving it away.
Speaker 12 (56:00):
He goes, all right, now, tell us about all the
crazy stories you've never said, like on record. So it's
like all stuff he's never spoken about it. It's not
like you know, he goes on the list where it's.
Speaker 7 (56:10):
Like whoa, whoa.
Speaker 10 (56:11):
There's a couple of things that jump out where you're like, oh, whoa.
Speaker 1 (56:14):
It's things that you like people would like.
Speaker 3 (56:16):
They almost like, uh preemptively were like these are gonna
be things that we couldn't dive into because we didn't
have information on it. Let's just quick hit these at
the end, tell us about this, tell us about this,
and then he just answers all of them where it's like,
if you were Charlie Sheen fan, you were like mad
or worried that something was.
Speaker 1 (56:30):
Gonna be left out. It's like he answered all of
it real quick.
Speaker 8 (56:32):
He's going Virraul goes Man, He's going viral right now
for a podcast. He's saying he got with like X
amount of girls.
Speaker 10 (56:41):
Was forty seven.
Speaker 1 (56:42):
Yes, he said.
Speaker 8 (56:43):
I saw that, and somebody did the math. They were like,
this would mean like three girls per day for X amount.
Speaker 6 (56:48):
Of years free.
Speaker 1 (56:49):
Because he's do you think that's real?
Speaker 10 (56:51):
No, but I definitely believe he Ok, yeah, his number
was forty.
Speaker 12 (57:00):
Said you guys can repost this about it. I haven't
watched it, yeah, but definitely watching Charlie Sheen doc.
Speaker 7 (57:08):
It's and it's on which streaming platform Netflix.
Speaker 12 (57:11):
It was just such a polarizing figure that you kind
of forget about how just influentially was for so long
and people just like, yeah, cheering on, like the destruction
of his life and like.
Speaker 4 (57:25):
He just was in like that in the weird worst way,
perfect time period like eighties, nineties, early two thousands, the
last era before. If he was doing that stuff now,
it would never work. He would have gotten he would
have gotten in the like crack and be a paid
(57:46):
TV person.
Speaker 1 (57:47):
Have a lot of spoiler, But what was the offer
that they made him per episode?
Speaker 10 (57:50):
Was it just two million in episode?
Speaker 4 (57:53):
Sh watching I'm literally watching an episode last night thinking
about that.
Speaker 10 (57:57):
I know I felt that for Alan whatever his name
is in real.
Speaker 1 (58:01):
Life, He's like, you see why I look right now?
Speaker 12 (58:04):
Yeah, but he was like, I get I'm getting a
third of that. I'm like, I don't know millions, you know,
fuck man, six hundred thousand episodes.
Speaker 8 (58:14):
But it's like, dude, y'all gotta watch unknown numbers?
Speaker 10 (58:17):
What's that?
Speaker 1 (58:18):
This is uh true story?
Speaker 8 (58:21):
This high school couple at freshman sophomore they get they're
getting cyber bullied, and it's all about finding who did
it because it's in this small town and you want
to talk about a crazy ending, Okay, I told Zie,
Because yeah, we decided not to, Like I'm not hating
on the dock.
Speaker 3 (58:35):
We didn't watch it. We watched a little bit of it,
but then we didn't finish it, and like Charlie, no,
the no numbers. So I decided that we weren't going
to finish it, so I'll let you spoil it for me.
And I asked McKenley last night, are you going to
finish it? Because if not, let me spoil it for you.
And then she was mind blowing too what you told me?
Speaker 5 (58:50):
Some of these shows we got to watch between, like
if people stay before the Thursday stream, like we could
in that little dead period before.
Speaker 1 (58:57):
The third.
Speaker 10 (59:01):
Episode.
Speaker 8 (59:02):
Season.
Speaker 10 (59:03):

Yes, yes, Well what do you guys have? Run me?
Run me down? Because I need to shout out.
Speaker 2 (59:32):
Wipe it down.
Speaker 10 (59:33):
So you guys have been going for a minute.
Speaker 12 (59:34):
When I walked in, like fifty guys were like, the
first thing you started was Mitch getting hit on?
Speaker 2 (59:40):
No?
Speaker 1 (59:40):
Oh, yeah, how did that go? Mitch has two girlfriends?
Speaker 2 (59:44):
More of the story. I was getting hit on this girl?
Speaker 10 (59:46):
Did you ask her if she's a good videographer?
Speaker 1 (59:48):
