six fifty five, like waiting for them to open it,
and the guy it's me and like one other guy
that he's like, that's my first time. Like we're both
like eager, and then we get in there. No one's
in there obviously like they're opening and then I asked

the guy's like just like kind of like giving us
advice and stuff, and I was like, we don't have
to show up this early due He's like everyone shows
up like seven fifty five. He's like, because you sign up,
you put it in a bucket. Then I like how
they do it though, They pull the bucket on stage
so they you know that like no one's just getting
up because of like they're good basically yeah, So they
pull it out of the bucket and read it on stage,
and then you go up there in the order that

you get pulled and pick where you want to be
on the lineup. So I pick like third to last.
I was like, I want to be, yeah, I want
to be to get picked.

Though, uh like middle of the pack ish.

And I put myself at the bottom of the because
I wanted to be like when they said my name,
I wish I wish this would have been so cringe,
like to record it or like y'all to have been
there just to see me get picked, because I was
like shit, I was like no, And then of course
the immediate like should I just leave, Like no one
will ever know if I left, literally, and then they
all look around because everyone's like if he's not getting up,

I want to get up, because everyone's just everyone wanting
to get It's only comedians in there, so I went up.
By the time I went on, the room was I mean,
like ten people or less were in there, which is
kind of cool. They weren't comedians. There's only like two
more comedians in there because the host Evehn was like,
who's still in here, like because it's like ten thirty
on a Tuesday night and they're like, oh, we're just
here like to watch comedy, and I was like, that's
kind of nice.

It was like these two these two girls right here,
like a couple of guys.

There's one guy in his sixties that was in the back,
and uh, it went yeah he was he Actually he
did go.

Up at the end of the night, so I guess
he was a comedian. But I'm bouncing all over the place.

Was that the karaoke guy.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Yes, I forgot. I told you about that. This guy
I forgot if he went up before after me. But
like end of the night when it's empty, the host
was pretty annoyed that, like we were even still there,
Like he was nice about it, but he's like like,
let's go, and this old guy goes up there, and
like you get four minutes and he's like, uh. He
tried like two jokes that were so like everyone in
the room was like less than thirty, like probably like

twenty five or less, and he made a joke about
like a show in like the seventies or something, and
everyone's like and he's like, y'all don't know that DoD
y'all And then we're all like no, and there's a
band behind you, and he's like fuck it, like I'm
just gonna do karaoke, y'all know, uh like this song
and the band's like yeah, he's like fucking let's play
it for the next three minutes. And he just sang
for three minutes like awfully, but it was hilarious, like

we were all in there like clapping, like I don't remember.
It was some old ass song that I didn't even know,
but it was so funny and he's did and girl,
I wish it was it was some like operash opera.
It was like it was some song you couldn't sing
along too. But uh it went good. It was Uh

you all the biggest pop which is like in that room,
it's like getting a like like was like you're crushing
in there. And I got from a couple of people
just when I like one of my opening things, just
like I work for this podcas because the bit is
about Will and Taylor and like when I mentioned bust
and I'm like they never heard of that, and like
no one had, and I was just like, that's like

the Pope dessert. Like it was like in the moment,

the guys, the drummer. He's like, hey, I got a

And he like said it like they gave him a mic,
the host it and he's like, you should say right

Will because he he I think he knew what Bustin was.

oh thanks. And then afterwards they were like they came
up and there that was pretty good for.

There's a room above it like to perform in tiny
little room. But he hosted a comedy show there, the
comedian Discovery Guy, and there was like five comedians on.
Literally there may have been like four people in the audience,
including me and McKenzie and then just the comedians standing
in the back and we're sitting on automans like in
the middle of this room. There's like just like cool
drapes everywhere. It literally just looked like a bedroom and

it was so cool though. But the comedian Discovery dude
is super cool. We talked for a while before and
after the show, and then he's been dming me a
bunch to help me, so shout out Josiah.

Yeah, so back at it again next week. Yeah, we're
doing every Tuesday now. I wish I would have done
this alive in Nashville. I should have done.

It's just like everyone else is just so used to it,

a panic attack in the back. And then it was
there was such a clutch moment where it was like
one guy that was performing, he had like ten friends
in there, which ten is a lot in this room,
and once he got off, they all left and I
was like, oh, let's go. Like once they dipped, I

was like, Oh, this room's empty. And then the nerves
really went away. My leg was definitely shaking up there.
I felt it.

So was it scarier last week or this week?

I'm not even just saying this, like looked like I
was right. The Zany's one was scarier, just like because
of the building. Yeah, I think that's like this room
was like just not that intimidating. When there was a
lot of people, it was pretty scary. But like once,
like I said, like once it started clearing out and
I was doing the math, I was like, everyone's gonna
be gone, Like, yeah, there's only gonna be a few
people in here. It's not gonna be that bad. And
like I told y'all, it was terrifying. And like the

second the hosts like said your name and you walk
up there and you kind of like shake hands, like
the second like you grab the mic, I don't know why,
it just like went away. It was kind of just
like it doesn't matter. It just it felt like this.
It was just like hello, like as soon as you
hear the reverb and it's not this sounds stupid, but
not as bad as you think it's gonna be.

So I was like, that's something in my head, like
what if you just go up there and I can't talk?

wait to interact with them for the rest of the party.
All of a sudden, I look up and he's talking
with chef, and Chef's coming up to me and he's like, Hey,
where's your bathroom, man? And then Darryl comes and grabs
my arm and he's like, hey, do you have a
bathroom and he's spaced out and I'm like, I'm like,

I do have a bathroom out. I'm like, let's go
to it. I'm like, man, Darryl kind of turned up
because he was really no.

One's drunk at this point, by the way, yeah, one
twenty minutes into the park.

Speaker 7 (17:20):
Yeah, very early in the night. I walk up to
the front door with him. We are literally at the
precipice of the door and he starts going back and forth.
I think he's kicking his shoes off, and so I go, brother,
you don't got to kick your shoes off.

I remember hearing that, and.

Right as I go like that, he just completely falls
to the ground. Thankfully, like his head kind of landed
on my leg. I did not catch him at all
the first time. First time, Oh yeah, oh yeah, I
get him up. Jared comes up thankfully. We get minutes

and all of a sudden he goes and he's like, hey, uh,
do you have a bathroom. I'm like, yeah, we're going
to it, like come with me, and down My hand's
like on his back. Jared's holding onto his other arm
and out of nowhere.

At that time, I caught him. Mitch the strongest guy
at the party. Mitch is in the bathroom at this point,
but his boys standing right there and I'm holding this
guy that's way bigger than me, and I'm maintaining eye
contact with his dad. Think I go, can you grab him?

Speaker 2 (18:37):
You were like help, hey, they hey, can you can
you grab his feet?

Speaker 7 (18:41):
And he was like oh ship, yeah, yeah yeah, And
we get him. We get him on the couch and
he came back to again and he was like, hey,
can everybody back up? Can everybody back what's going on?
And We're like, buddy, we want to back up and
give me face, but what is going on? We want
to help you.

Joe is introducing herself to him.

Oh yeah, I mean it was like the nurse. Thankfully,
Jill's a nurse, and all these nurses are there.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
If you're gonna pass out at a party, that's the
party to do it. Because I'm pretty sure every girl
there was either a pa, a nurse, or in the
health field.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Something like that flood in and it's like it's okay.

It was literally someone said like does anyone a nurse?

Literally start going Sherman, can you get him a water?

Being right there and has like eight nurses on him
and they diagnosed it in like two minutes. They were
like toward Labram. He had surgery on it before. Uh,
while he was talking to chef and I guess telling
a story, his shoulder popped out of socket and the
pain from it just like all of a sudden, the
world just kind of like closed in on him and

he just started passing out.

So you've done that twice. Yeah, I'm my I don't
know if this is like I won't like make it
all about me.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
All I'm saying is like I have a thing where
it's like if I have like any kind of pain
that overwhelms me quickly, even if it's not excruciating, I
pass out like quickly.

And it's like I told you, I think I don't know.

Literally, I don't know if I told you about the
party I told you, Like when I worked at my
last job, I dropped a mic stand on my toe
and like, have y'all broken a toe before?

I'm pretty sure I broke my toe.

When you break your toe, it's not like excruciating, but
you're just like, fuck, I think I broke it. And
it's only happened to like three times where you just
drop something heavy on it, you go to the doctor
