Speaker 1 (00:01):
Straw media. That's kind of why I don't have a
lot of questions. You know, I knew I was gonna blaby, Hey, guys,
what's up. It's Jordan Jones and welcome back to the
Jordan Jones Podcast. In today's epics. I need to I
need to quit my podcast. I'm done. I need to leave, guys.
(00:24):
I don't come here for like a week, and I'm
I don't know how to speak. Okay, sorry, I asked
you guys questions on my Instagram and we're gonna get
right to it. But before I have to just word
vomit on you, because this is the kind of thing
that I like, kind of don't have anyone to talk
to about. I got sucked in and I can't speak
(00:46):
to anyone about this because I'm like terrified of spoilers.
I don't like when I see something or hear something,
and it kind of just totally ruins it for me.
I like to try so hard not to see spoilers anyways.
So everyone else has already seen it, finished it, they're done.
So if I'm like, oh did you watch this, They're like, oh,
(01:08):
my bad da dah, and then like they'll tell me
everything all their opinions and who won or something. So
please do not comment on this video any spoilers for me.
I'm just this is my safe place to talk to
you guys, and I love reading my comments, so I
really don't want anyone to spoil it for me. But
I fell hard in the Love Island train.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Chew, chew.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
I am on that. I cannot stop and it's really
bad because crazy story. When everyone was watching it and saying,
oh that last season of Love Island the usay, the
last season, only this recent season, I think I was
really sick in July or August. What am I supposed
(01:53):
to do? I guess everyone's talking about this Love Island like.
I really don't want to, but I have to. So
I opened Parentsmount Plus because I heard that it's on
Paramount Plus and Love Island USA. This season everyone is
talking about is season six, okay on Paramount Plus. The
most recent season is season three. So guess what I did.
(02:16):
I watched season three on Paramount Plus because that's what
everyone was talking about the last season of Love Island USA. Wow,
did I make a big mistake because come to find out,
that was not the right season. I watched all what
thirty eight thirty five episodes such an excessive amount of
time to watch a TV show. In my opinion, guys,
(02:39):
I don't watch TV. I don't watch movies. I can
watch a twenty minute YouTube video, sure, once a day,
but I cannot be down that rabbit hole. It is
so bad. And this is why because look at me. Now,
I've watched all of season three, found out that it's
on Peacock, and I'm like, oh my gosh, I don't
(02:59):
have Peacock, so now I have to get Peacock. Okay, well,
do I jump to season six?
Speaker 2 (03:05):
No?
Speaker 1 (03:05):
I watch all of three, all of four, all of five,
and now I'm still on six. I'm on like straight
out of Casa of More. And if you guys just
don't know what I'm talking about, this is for the
Love Island fans. I am such a fan, now, you guys.
I have favorites, I have my opinions. I like wake
(03:26):
up and I think about it and I go to
bed and I watch a whole episode an hour and
a half. I'm really, really, just so involved with these
people's lives. I've literally never been a reality show person,
which is crazy because I've been on a reality TV show.
But yeah, I've never watched like The Bachelor or Perfect Match.
(03:47):
I think it's called like none of these shows. But
Love Island got me. And yeah, I just have no
one to talk about this with. And I have so
many emotions watching this show and seeing everything unfold. This
season is the best. Now I understand because I have
watched three, four or five and six. All these other
(04:09):
people that are talking about they've only watched like UK
and so I have watched like all of the USA ones.
Hi wacha Hi. She's so excited to be here today. Guys.
She's been watching Love Island with me. She sits on
my lap. Now she is rooting for Live Live. Is
one of my favorite girls. Oh my gosh. I actually
(04:32):
have another funny story. Okay, I get to New York
on a Two Faced brand deal and I'm the last
one at this breakfast, so I have to sit alone
at this circle table and the other two tables are
already full. So I sit down and I'm all alone,
and then this girl walks in after me because we
(04:52):
were both late. She's like, so is like everyone influencers here?
You know what's the vibe? You know who what's going on?
Who is everyone what do you do kind of thing,
and I'm like, yeah, you know, what do you do?
Because I don't know her because I was on season
five because I thought I was watching this recent season
of Love Island. So she's like, I don't really know
(05:13):
what I do. I was on Love Island. I was like,
oh my god, what season she's like the last one,
and I'm like, oh my gosh, I bet You're so cool.
But I'm just not there yet. I don't know who
you are yet, but I am about to let me
tell you, because girl, I've watched thirty four five and
now I'm on well now I'm on six, but I
(05:34):
wasn't on six when I met her, so she was
none other than Janee. And now I watch it and
I love her, and oh my gosh, again, I don't know. Really,
I'm not there there yet, but I do know. She
just recoupled with Kenny, thank god. But yeah, she's the
sweetest girl. She was my bus buddy there and back.
(05:55):
Every single day we ate the one hundred dollars caviar
chicken nugget together. She was telling me so many cool
things about Love Island, and I will try to get
her on the podcast. Guys. Yeah, she was just saying
like so many cool things to me that you just
don't really think about. And I don't know if say,
she was to come on, I don't think that she
(06:16):
can like share those kinds of things yet. She was
trying not to spoil things for me, but she was
telling other people on the bus stories from the show
and you know what had happened, or you know, explaining
herself and YadA YadA, and one of the things she
just goes, this is a spoiler, so if you do not,
just go tap tap on the right side of the
screen and skip forward the ten seconds. But she's like,
(06:38):
well I did get fourth, and I'm like, dang, so
that is that is something I know. I know she
got fourth. And guys, she was like on FaceTime with Kenny,
like the whole bus ride and talking to him. They
were just so cute and I was like, oh my gosh,
like Love Island is real, guys, they are cute. They
are real. And yeah, she's just so sweet and so nice.
(06:58):
She's literally like America's like favorite on the show right
now at least. Remember I'm not all the way through,
but she's amazing and shout out nine because she is sweet,
and I felt so bad for like not knowing who
she was at that moment, and now I'm like, oh,
I was sitting next to nine. Yeah, okay, sorry, storytime
over time free questions, All right, First question, how has
(07:21):
Los Angeles changed in the past years since Lockdown? Well,
you guys, it was pretty crazy. Right before we're filming
this episode, We're talking about all the businesses that have
just closed and have been continuously closing. Los Angeles is
like shutting down. I swear a Chipotle that has been
here for ten years is just gone, and new places
(07:42):
are popping up, and these like freaking robots are on
the street delivering your food. It's kind of crazy how
we moved back in time and moved forward in time
at the same time. But I would say that things
are getting back to being super busy how they were.
(08:02):
But for a long time, it wasn't that busy. There
was not as many plans being made, restaurants falling apart,
new restaurants coming up. One of the biggest differences is
how the restaurants have changed and closed. Another thing is
being an influencer has changed because before the pandemic, I
(08:24):
was pretty traditional you know, would be out all the time,
and now I have transformed into more of a digital
creator and doing podcasts and TikTok and gaming and streaming
and doing more like from my phone and from my
room than being out there. And so I've kind of
changed in that way where I have been able to
(08:47):
fortunately make more money online and monetize myself and make
me into a business and not having to do this, this, this,
and this because social media did kind of blow up
during the endemic and there's good things with it, there's
bad things with it. But that is something that has
changed for me and all around, Like my work and
(09:09):
goals have definitely changed because of COVID having that time
of not doing that stuff. It's like do I want
to do that? Do I want to dance? Do I
want to sing? Do I want to tour? And as
much as I did love that, it's just I'm just
kind of on a different chapter now and I am
willing to go back if I want to do that
(09:31):
later in my life. So that is something like I
think about. But yeah, my career has kind of just
done a full one pint eighty since COVID. Yeah, in
LA restaurants are different I would say crime is worse.
I was just at this coffee shop with a couple friends,
and they know I go to in and out all
(09:52):
the time, and there's a specific in and out in
Hollywood that's closesh to us, which is still kind of
like far with the drive and you know LA traffic,
it takes like thirty minutes sometimes to get there. But
she was in there a week ago and inside there
was a stabbing in the in and out and it
was a biohazard, so they had to stop serving food.
(10:13):
So she was like, guys, it's scary out here. Like genuinely,
I used to think that the news made it seem worse,
but it's kind of just because I'm not out there
as much, and then when I hear stories or see things,
it's bad out here. It's bad everywhere. But yeah, I
guess that has changed. Crime is kind of Next question,
(10:42):
do you ever plan on moving out of California? Not fully,
but yes. My future goals would to be to have
a house in California, preferably Malibu. It's my favorite city
in La technically La Ventura County, depends on how far
away you are, but yeah, I love Malibu. I love
(11:03):
being there. I love being by the ocean, and I
would move there one day. But I also could see myself,
you know, somewhere else farmland, whether it's Michigan or I
have recently fallen in love with Montana. I've only been
there once, but I could spend my summers there with
no looking back, like that place is beautiful. Michigan is
(11:24):
always amazing. I would love to have like a lake
house in Michigan, a beach house in California, and a
farmhouse in Montana. That would be just so perfect. I
also feel like part of me thinks I can move
to Hawaii like now, because I love Hawaii, but I
(11:45):
would miss La too much. So right now is my
time to be in La, be young, even though I
don't do anything La other than they go to coffee shops.
But yeah, I do see myself moving partially out of
This is pretty similar as a planning a question. Do
(12:06):
you plan on having children someday?
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (12:09):
I do. I would love to be a mom. Don't
see that in my near future, but I would love
to be a mom. I don't have a plan of
like how many kids test it out with one see
how it goes. Move on from there, But yeah, I
also see myself being an animal lover and having animals,
(12:30):
more animals, but Macha is my perfect one angel right now,
and I'm not thinking about getting another cat anytime soon. Yeah,
I do see myself having animals and children someday one day.
Next question is do you like meeting your fans out
in public? Yes? I do. I love it. I was
just walking on Melrose like two mornings ago, and I
(12:51):
got stopped by a couple girls. I love talking to
you guys. I love meeting you. I am the type
where if I feel like you know who I am
and you're kind of giving me that like double take
or that look, or you know, trying to like figure
it out like I've seen her before, I'll kind of
like initiate. Do they want a picture? Or are they
too scared? Like do they not know who I am?
(13:13):
You know, you're like second guessing yourself. So sometimes I'm like, hey,
I'm Jordan. If they're just like kind of staring at me,
and then they're like, oh my gosh, can I have
a picture with you? And it kind of goes from there.
But I do get it a lot. I love getting
it and I love meeting you guys, so never be
too scared to come up to me or even DM
me and be like, I'm coming to LA soon. I
(13:35):
would love to meet you, because I have done like
meetups with fans before, and I love it, especially if
you guys are like my fan pages and my fans
for so long. I love love taking the time to
DM you, talk to you, meet you in public, and yeah,
it does make me very happy. This person asks where
(13:55):
is your home now? I guess this can get confusing
because I do go home to Michigan frequently, and it
probably does look like I am in both places. But yeah,
I live in Los Angeles with my cat, my perfect cat.
Yeah I've lived here for a long time, probably about
three four years now, and yeah, I love it, but
(14:17):
I do go home to Michigan sometimes. The next question
is what is your workout routine? Okay, so I always
talk about my or ring. I love it. I try
to get ten thousand steps a day, so I love
to walk. I love to walk to a coffee shop
or I don't know, lunch, dinner, wherever I can. Living
in LA you can kind of walk a lot. It's
(14:38):
definitely not New York walking, but I do enjoy walking,
so I also try to do pilates at least twice
a week. Yeah. I like to play pickleball whenever I can.
I just like to kind of be outside and be
moving whatever my friends want to do. I do some
random pick up workout classes sometimes like burn classes, hit classes,
(14:59):
like full body stuff. So randomly, I'll just do some
fun classes in LA we have so many cool classes. Actually,
next week my friend and I are doing aerial silk classes,
so that will be fun and I'll try to get
a couple of videos for you guys there. So yeah,
that's my workout routine. I just love pilates and playing
with my cat. Last question, you keep dancing like before
(15:23):
or are you focused on other things? So we have
pretty much touched on this, but I have pretty much
put a halt on dancing. I haven't taken a class
in a really long time, and I haven't done it
professionally in years. But I do love it. It is
a passion of mine and I do miss it sometimes,
(15:43):
but it's just again, it's not in the chapter. It's
not in the cards for me right now, and maybe
in the future I'll get back to it. I do
have one goal of mine in this lifetime, so maybe
that will happen, but until then, maybe it's it's time
for me to close that door. Maybe I'll open it
back up for one special occasion in the future, but
(16:04):
that's the chapter I'm on right now, and that's okay. Well,
thank you guys so much for asking me the questions
on Instagram, and make sure to add the podcast to
your Spotify and Apple playlist and I'll see you guys
next week with a new episode. Bye.
